I have a landline connection with BSNL, AFS Yelahanka, Bangalore[protected]. The landline is not working since 2nd February 2011, it has been more than a month now. I have tried various options placing complaint with the BSNL office to get the issue rectified, made a complaint on[protected]with complaint number 2167 dated 3rd of February 2011) for more than 10 times with not a productive response. I have contacted Junior Engineer (Mr Prakash [protected]), then contacted Lineman (Mr Srinivas [protected]), then another lineman (Mr. Jagadish [protected]), then the connection incharge (Mr.Bhat[protected], then Cable incharge (Mr. Zainullah [protected]), further Assistant Engineer (Mr. Harish [protected]) and more to follow.... the list is huge. I understand that it is not ethical to publish their numbers here, but the response from them were not at all good; there is no option left with me other than this complaint forum.
This is not the first time, this has happened earlier also and many times for more than 15 days. There is a waiver of rental if the landline is disconnected for more than 15 days. But the bill every time is generated with the rental charges and I'm paying the the bill each and every time. We have logged several complaints on this issue on the following dates, but everytime the JTO assures that the waiver will be adjusted in the next months bill, which has never happened:
On 27th may 2008
On 26th dec 2008
On 26th feb 2009
On 26th June 2009
and then now

I have served this country for more than 35 years and was a part of Border Security Force (BSF), now retired with a president's police medal for my service. But, nothing is useful in this case.

If this complaint forum is really worth, then this would be my last and final option.
This is humble request to concerned authorities to take this forward and offer some help in getting my landline fixed.

    Hi there, My name is PRASHANT KUMAR from LUCKNOW. I just come into BSNL through MNP from Bharti Airtel.. My MBL is [protected].. i got my UPC (AE794226) from Airtel on 27th Feb 2011. so i applied for BSNL @ their CSC.. They were giving 100. Rs. Talktime and 5gb Gprs facility for new port-in customers.. i got my Operator changed on 5-MAR-2011 @ 10:00 pm.. but now they haven't given me my 100rs. talktime & 5gb data.. i called to CC and was Roaming to their CSC from 5 days.. but nothing happened.. They Sent me to their Lucknow FRS officer (S.N. Pandey). they said that i need to take FRC of rs. 60 for Getting the facility of 100rs. TT & 5gb Data.. I bought the FRC.. but nothing Happend !!! They said to me to Confirm from CSC.. i asked to CSC and they said that the MNP Scheme has Expired on 2-Mar-2011. Thats the Shame..
    the website still tells that the MNP is there... and there is also a Banner @ their CSC written --- " Offer for mnp port-in Customer"
    and also they are Charging me 90paise/min for calling !!!!
    what to Do ???? Please Help me....
    There were no Notification about the expiration of the Scheme.. neither @ their CSCs nor on the website --- http://www.bsnl.co.in

      sir i m bsnl user from 5 years . sir mai village hyderabad se bilong karta hu. yaha per karib 3 saal pehle village hyderabad me bsnl tower lagaya gaya tha . parantu pichle 1 saalo se tower properly work nahi kar raha hai aur mahino tak tower oil chori aur caretaker ki lapervahiyo ke karad tower hamesa band rehta hai aur es vajah se sare gramvasion aur durdaraj ke ke logo ko signal na milne ke vajah se problem hoti hai. es visay me humne bahut baar basti complain kiya lekin ya to vo phone nahi receive karte ya vo bahana bana dete hai. atah apse nivedan hai ki es samyasya ka samadhaan jald se jald kare .

        Sir/Madam,
        I have complaint a many times to BSNL authorities regarding my problem i.e the Broadband connection keeps on redialing again and again every 1-2 minutes. I am fed up of this and also complained for it many times. This month i have complained 3 times and the action is NIL !!!!!! I have 500C+ plan for Broadband and I am using there services for past 2 years ! But now Because of this I am Fed Up !

        Please Please consider upon my request and take the necessary action.

          BSNL Broadband not working since last 6 days.(from 05.03.2011). Complaint lodged to BSNL customer care-198 and get Docket No.[protected]. but without attending problem next days SMS comes that Docket No. Closed.Call 1500. But unfortunately most of the time 1500 not responding/not recieving/engaged. Then Further Complaint lodged to BSNL customer care-198 and get Docket No.[protected](Date 09.03.2011) and again without attending problem next days SMS comes that Docket No. Closed(11.03.2011).Please Call 1500. But fortunately complaint loged to 1500 on 10.03.2011, but still problem as it is not attended.

          My Land-line Telephone is not working since broadband connection is taken on that line.Can not make or receive calls from that telephone having no[protected].Booked complaint on[protected] but still no action taken.
          My Docket No. is BHR/CO/2012/198, a copy of which i am attaching here.
          BSNL the Worst Service Provider in India. The Bloody Uttarpara Telephone Exchange elements harasses us.

            my mobile Number is [protected].(BSNL PREPAID).I am getting unwanted sms messages such as jokes, munna jokes,download ring tones music etc. which is disturbing me and irritating me. Being a working woman , I am very busy at home and Office.Please stop this unwanted messages sending to my mobile , mostly from +5888 , causing loss of money from my mobile a/c..... Kindly take immediate action in this regard. I have tried many times to contact Bsnl Costermer care complaints cell, but nil response.

            BSNL — unwanted sms messages

            My mobile connection is BSNL prepaid and number is [protected].
            some unwanted joke msgs are getting on my mobile mostly from 58558 without my knowledge and it is disturbing and irritating me.Being a working woman, I am very bust at Office and home. Hence kindly do the needful to stop this unwanted joke messages sending to my mobile from the number 58558.I tried to contact custmercare BSNL, many times but nil response.

                Dear Sir,

                My Broadband connection is not working.

                After several follow-ups with local BSNL office no result.
                Even no one lift phone during office hours to lodge complaint.

                I am really suffering.
                Even my landline connection sometimes go down & becomes noisy.
                Lodge compleint through 198. But complaint ticket gets cleared without resolving the problem.


                Please look into the matter & help to resolve.

                  I had requested for Mobile Number Portability from BSNL to IDEA. All relevent documents was submitted by me to IDEA, then to BSNL, here at Bangalore in the first week of Feb 2011.
                  On 8 Feb, CELLONE customer care, requested on tele, reasons, which I had given them. Please peruse my CELLONE Bills for the past year, you will find that the Usage charges is just around Rs. 5 or less, whereas The Fixed Monthly Charges is Rs. 325. Useage due to poor network availability, call drop, voice cutting up etc.
                  CELLONE (+55500) sent me a SMS on 10 Feb 11, that " You Have been successfully unsubscribed". Cellone has NOT communicated this to IDEA and have not taken me off the network. Due to which a NEW BILL No.[protected] dtd. 05/03/2011 has sent to me.
                  My request is please :
                  (a) Cancel this bill not a vaild justified bill, hence will not be paid, infact a sum of Rs. 325/= , which are the Fixed Monthly charges for Feb 2011, must be REFUNDED.
                  (b) Mobile Number Portability[protected] from BSNL to IDEA must be made immediately.

                      The Mobile Service Provider 59595 activated some service as free trial on my mobile. Later on they subscribed it without my permission. Since last few months 59595renew it without permission and charge money from balance. It looks as the company is adopting illegel ways to earn more profits.Please Deactivate services of 59595 and refund money. Also ACTIVATE DO NOT DISTURB SERVISE to get rid o[censored]nwanted SMSs.

                        My landline connection is very old and at that time there was no concept o[censored]ID so I was not allotted one. Later when i was trying to register my telephoen number online, i was facing the issue with UID as my bill does not reflect UID in it. On enquiring with the exchange also it was of no use.

                        So in case if you can let me know my Unique ID for my BSNL connection then it would be really helpful.

                          Sir/ madam, I have recharged my BSNL Sim of number [protected] with Rs 500/- which makes BSNL to BSNL calling free for 1 month. Many times it happens such that in spite of free calls my balance was reduced. after complaining to customer care, they assured to resolve my problem within 24 hours and assured me of getting back my balance which was cut due to technical fault. but till now I din't get my desired balance. And the way Customer service executives speak is really disgusting. It is very irritating to speak to them. So, kindly take necessary action as soon as possible.
                          problem for my BSNL prepaid sim card ([protected])balance reduction without any messge come so i want call records between date 1 sept to 30 sept send to my email id is [protected]@gmail.com immeditaly & refill my balance 50/- rs.i register comlpent to bsnl custmer care 19th sept comp no 4302798 untill 11th oct doesnot slove

                          I am a student doing B.E in a college in nagercovil.I am using BSNL sim and they had activated some offers without any confirmation from me .Now when i tried to contact the customer care they told me to sent a msg to aparticular number when i send it i lost 2 rs.and the mesage didnt delivered also.Again when i tried the customer care they are saying the same thing only..But am only losing 2 rs eachtime but no use..please consider my request to stop these kinds of forgery..

                            Hello Sir,
                            I am a BSNL 3G customer of Karnataka with mobile number [protected].
                            On[protected] I was surprised when i received a message that 25.00 Rs. has been deducted from my account and i am been subscribed to GANDHIJI30, which i have never subscribed or sent any request for that. When i called BSNL customer care on the same day and complained about it, they said that they dont have more information about it. They said that my money cant be refunded and i have to unsubscribe myself and also i should do DND activation. They asked me to send sms "START DND" to 1909 which is free of cost.
                            But when i sent the message START DND to "1909", i was surprised that Rs. 3.00 was charged, but i did not receive any confirmation number regarding activation of DND.
                            Again when i contacted customer care executive (Mr. Murali) on[protected] regarding DND activation, he refused to activate it online and asked me to send the same message to 1909 and said that it was free of cost.
                            But it was not a surprise to me, coz again Rs. 3.00 was charged when i sent the same message to 1909.
                            Why is my amount deducted to activate DND and for the service that i have not subscribed?
                            I request all my amount that has been deducted without my permission / request and also the amount of Rs. 25/- deducted to be refunded immediately. It is not just a matter of 30-35 Rs. It is nothing but a looting of customers money openly at day as if there is no one to be held responsible.

                                I am Vishal Joshi. My BSNL prepaid mobile number is [protected]. I am using BSNL Prepaid mobile since last 1.5year. I have never given any kind of mobile portability request to any service provider but after my number is being transfer to Bharti Airtel mobile service. I don’t know how it happens. I haven't given any kind of service change request through paper document or mobile message.

                                Since yesterday I am unable to use the BSNL service. I am very afraid that someone is misusing my mobile number.

                                Please resolve my problem.

                                I am using BSNL no. [protected] for last 3 years. I made a requist for mnp from BSNL to VIDEOCON on 04 02 2011. But the BSNL company not taking necessary steps for my requist till now. So I would like to lodge my complaints for your kind perusal.

                                  RESPECTED SIR,
                                  i had taken the broadband annual 7490/-plan for my business from 24th march 2010 to 24 march 2011. & paid the amount of the bill with the bill of april 2010 of rs. 8317/-, receipt no. KRLPHW[protected]. But bsnl added these charges again in the bill of june 2010. From that time to dec 2010 bill is not made correct by the bsnl & bill is coming with every month charges as 9277/-. i made many complaints to bsnl exchange pehowa, but every time i hear account officer is on holiday or something. From feb 2011 bsnl barred my outgoing facility & the broadband connection too for whom i paid already for one year. My card swap machine of my business is not working due to outgoing barred, customers are feeling very difficulties. I met with the account officer of kurukshetra on 3rd march 2011, they made a manual bill after deducting the extra charges & told me to deposit the extra amount & i deposit the said amount of rs. 2577/- on 4th march 2011 receipt no. is KRLPHW[protected]. But problem is not solved. I made approx 50-60 calls to account officer kurukshetra[protected], but no one pick the call. AFTER this i made call to junior general manager ambala[protected]. they told me that they will make your phone active. But no one solve the problem. Total staff of the bsnl is corrupt . i am tired from all those.
                                  my landline no. is[protected]. Please solve my problem. I shall be thankful to you for this.

                                    I,Mr. Umesh.P.Kamat, am a resident of Prathamesh Colony, Vidyanagar, Karad. My landline number is[protected]. It has been more than a month that our landline has got diconnected despite of payment of bills on right time and often complaints to the BSNL telephone exchange.
                                    So we request you to please look into this matter.
                                    I am S. Joardar from Narayangaon (Pune Dist). My landline[protected] is not working properly since last four weeks though I am regularly paying the bills at the correct time. Only two weeks back they restored the connection but the phone works only for incoming calls and I am not able to make any outgoing call. The BSNL Narayangoan staff sometimes listens to my complaint but does not act upon saying they have too many other jobs and manpower is less.

                                      Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                                      On the date of 12th January 2011 with out my intimate Voice mail service was activated on my number ([protected]) and deducted 30 rupees on my main balance. I have submitted the complain same day (12.01.2011 at 7:43 pm) and the customer care executive booked (complain docket no A12WB61367) the complain.After one month asked the customer care regarding my complain they told that it will solve as soon as possible but the problem has not solve.Again I have register my complain(on the date of 8.03.2011) and they give me another Complain no (Docket number is C08WB289976) but till date I did not get back my deducted money.

                                      Pls help to resolve the problem.

                                      WITH OUT PERMITION MONEY DIDUCT MY BALANCE

                                      On the date of 01.02.12 with out my intimate sms was activated on my number [protected] and deducted 7rupees on my main balance. I have submitted the complain same day and the customer care executive booked the complain.After one month asked the customer care regarding my complain they told that it will solve as soon as possible but the problem has not solve.Again I have register my complain but till date I did not get back my deducted money. so plz solve my problem so many times my deduct the balance

                                      Pls help to resolve the problem.

                                        I have submitted an application for converting the post paid mobile connection to pre paid mobile connection to BSNL AMENITY BLOCK, Bangalore on 04.03.2011. The BSNL has collected upto date bill and handed over a SIM. Inspite of continuous follow up with various authorities, including DGM, Marketing - Mr Krishna Murthy[protected] there is no response from the authorities. This has caused great inconvenience to me both in terms of my personal communications and reputational matters. The authorities are giving only phone numbers of different persons without resolving the issue. Kindly look into the matter and compensate the loss.
                                        PLEASE ACTIVATE MY SIM WHICH IS PNDING FROM PAST MANY DAYS, MORE THAN 15.
