With deep regret, we wish to inform you that we have booked a cab from Carzon rent, on Wed, November 12, 2014 9:00 am, from Mumbai Airport, for our CEO. And the same has been acknowledged wide Carzon rent reply wide their mail, dated on Wed, November 12, 2014 9:08 am, or you can also find the details with attachment, where i have enclosed the copy of email. I was continuously taking follow up with your Carzon rent customer support agents more than twice or thrice times, but i got the same answer, that your booking is confirmed and the chauffeur details & cab details can only be available two hours before the booking time i.e. 09:00 am and a SMS will be delivered to the passenger's / registered no. regarding the same, at around ideally 07:00 am. Therefore, the matter was followed up by the undersigned once again before 30 minutes of the booking time i.e. around 08:30 am, it was conveyed at that time from carzon rent, that no taxi is available. i got the one mobile no. form your customer support team, to resolve this problem, i called on this no. i.e. +91 [protected], this no. belongs to Carzon rent, finally the person told me that for long, there is no car available for Mumbai Airport. And this carelessness caused the inconvenience to us and jeopardising the total programme of our CEO, and the hardship he had to undergo while searching another cab under duress. You are therefore requested to take note of the above & take necessary action at your end. Anticipating & action against the errant of your concern. Hoping for the suitable reply and action. More money than brains is what springs to mind.
I have been hiring cars from them for the past 8 days and each day there has been issues.
One day I booked a Innova and was told sorry but they don't have Innove and instead sent me Etios which is dearer than Innova, but I can't seat all the passengers in Etios, sorry Sir.
Next day I was told to pay extra because I exceeded my allowance, which I didn't - sorry sir my driver made a mistake because he counted the distance from the garage rather then the pick up point.
Following day I hired for 4 hours and got back to after around 4 hrs 25 minutes but the drivers decides to call the boss after 5 minutes so then can charge extra hours.
The next day I used the car for same time as above is 4hrs 25 minutes nd told the driver to call his boss and sign off the hire, Carzonrent still wanted to charge extra hour because there was only 5 minutes before they could charge me for the extra hour. It clearly states at the time of booking that they will charge for extra hour after the first 30 minutes. But the local boss said it is unfair to not to pay event though I was not over the 30 minutes as stated.
He then went on to say that they had been extremely generous to me in the past because whenever I booked a car they turned up, so when you book a car with Carzonrent and they turn up that is considered to be a favour on their part because they turned up.
They are a complete joke.
