    Hi, I was employed in Cognizant Technology Solutions from May 3rd 2010 to Feb 25th 2011. My offer letter has an incentive component and company policy states that employee on the rolls on 31st December 2010 will be eligible for incentive.
    My appraiser did not submit my rating till my LWD and i came to know today that he had given me an under par rating due to which i did not get my incentive. It is not fair and I also did not get a chance to view his appraisal. I havent received any response from him as yet. I want to file a complaint. PLease advice.

        Hello,

        The MarketRx administration has started to sell packaged food items such as Chips, Biscuits etc to its employee from around January onwards. The prices they have kept are 2 - 3/- higher than MRP. For eg. Lays potato chips are being sold at 22/- instead of MRP 20/-. They never track any record for the transaction.

        At times Employees have raised this issue infront of various audience but administration is not looking into the issue. Since, such products are not readily available in the viscinity of Campus therefore Employees are forced to buy them from here only. Please let me know if there is any law against this kind of monopoly.

          We would like to bring it your notice that,the customer ledger of the CAN no showing arrears of Rs.80580/-,where as the water bills are paying regularly without any dues as on date.We submitted the xerox copies set payment mode details for referencing at HMWS &SB operation and maintenace Div.No.XV at Chanda Nagar on 03.01.11,but the next bill the same arrears received including bill.

              Cognizant Technology Solutions — SETTLEMENT OF PROVIDENT FUND

              I worked in Cognizant Chennai. from May,23. 2011 to July 2012..The PF amount deducted from salary was not paid to me. I resigned and I am idle with no work, My PF A/C/No ia TN/MS/31309/154505.The PF deducted from my salary nearly 8000 was to be paid to me. S.Prabha.

              Without any purchase from credit card having large due amount

              From the date of issue of my credit card ending with(7549) i haven't purchased a single item on dat card and still having large amount due to pay. Please let me know the issue and close my credit card

                Human Resources at Cognizant Technology Solutions(CTS) has come out with a novel method to harass employees not in favour with the management. I have been at the receiving end of such a shoddy treatment engineered by Mr. Jacob Raj who is a senior manager, Human Resources,CTS, Chennai. This method was also being followed by third rate software companies and Cognizant (CTS) has joined the bandwagon adding a professional touch.

                The following happened from April 2010 onwards to a senior person with over 20 years experience in CTS
                a) Isolation of an employee who speaks up against wrong doings in Cognizant.
                b) HR, CTS threatens him with termination. Puts him on bench & makes him angry. HR records conversations & put words into his mouth that there is a behavioral problem
                c) HR, CTS sends him for counselling sessions at his expense
                d) HR, CTS promises him a lucrative posting post-counselling, drag their feet and not to keep up their word
                e) After 3 months, HR, CTS politely sounds him to look for another job telling lies that they can't fit him into any project
                f) If he does not budge, HR , CTS abruptly asks him to resign and threatens him with termination again.
                g) HR, CTS terminates him without any written notice or intimation and removes intranet & mails access
                h) On his securing a job in another organisation, HR, CTS denies him a clean service certificate and blackmails him to return some monies paid to him during bench period. Jacob Raj, Human Resources, CTS, Chennai refused to even meet him when he went to the office to submit resignation and get a clean exit!!!. Mind you , Jacob Raj did all this as Senior Manager, CTS, Chennai and tries to keep it clean since there is nothing in writing officially.

                There is nothing on record regarding reason as to why a person with so many years of experience should be terminated!!! It is a harassment of a CTS employee and an embarassment to CTS if made public.

                Blackmailing him for return of monies paid during bench - is it not CTS's onus? Doesn't it look like a BRIBE? Is CTS so poor that it requires money generated like this? Only a few days ago the President & MD of CTS - Chandrasekaharan was proudly mentioning to a newspaper that CTS is a $4 billion startup !!! And I have seen it's chairman Lakshmi Narayanan make donations to charity and take his pictures!!! Wake up senior management of Cognizant (CTS) - you will be better off doing charity to your employees rather than strangers!!! After all, charity begins at home!!!

                Much as I respect Cognizant (CTS) having been a part of it's success, this incident has left me wondering whether the HR following a vindictive policy had the approval of the top management in connivance?

                Name of the person is purposely kept confidential for obvious reasons - we should not be spoiling his career just for publicity like what Cognizant (CTS) has done.

                This is not the first time i have heard o[censored]njust treatment of employees in CTS by its top management. But they they all have to have the skin of the rhino to carry on as nothing is ever wrong with their strategy
                Now these things are old, Something new in picture now a days. If you go for interview by your own in Cognizent, eventhough you cleared technical rounds, HR team will not arranged your hr round and luckily if you have their no.s either they will keep you on hold by saying still we dont have requirement or they will say they dont have your data, its missing or something, please try next time. Where as if you go with some consultancy they will make sure you get an offer letter and you joined. Even counsultancys gurantee if you give interview by putting our label in resume you will clear interview.

                Definetely these HR pannels getting some lucrative offers from these consultancies. If cognizent management dont believe they can check their data and compare how many are coming via consultancy refferals and how many by employee reffrels of by self applied.
                I would like to share my experience as well..
                I had applied for PF withdrawal while leaving cognizant. for procedure I confirmed almost all the HR people there and the procedure was, from PF portal I have to fill the form and click withdraw button but after 7 months when I inquired the status of PF, PF office told me no withdrawal request has been sent from cognizant. and while contacted cognizant they told me that I have not submitted any withdrawal request . luckily I had taken all the screen shots at that time which I sent them but still they are not acknowledging that I. lot of carelessness and irresponsible behavior. let me know If I can complain any for this harassment

                Cogizant (UBS) is bad in handling employees concenrs, specially OTC Margin team is very poor and arrogant on this.
                I totally agree. A bunch of are hired in HR and work in Cognizant to terminate employees ordered by the management. These 'll do whatever if they want to terminate the employees, If your manager is a big , these will be happy to work for them and appease them...and the loyal employees who work hard more than 10h a day will be given the least importance and if the manager doesn't personally like you despite you work hard and be loyal, he'll use these to terminate you. A symbol of bad company with least ethics and lowest moral values...I wonder where does Cognizant get these and poor management...who don't understand what moral value mean. .
                Recently this thing has happened to me too. I was mentally harassed by my manager who is in CTS from last 10 years. He was unnecessarily asking me to stretch my work hours to late night and also asking me to come on weekends to do work.

                After going through this tremendous pressure when I resigned and complained about him to his manager and HR, instead of taking any action against him Senior Manager threatened me to withdraw my resignation.

                Now when I was not ready to withdraaw my resignation and ready to serve my notice period they forcibly terminated my employee contract by releasing me in two days.

                Cognizant as the company is having the worst management to work with.
                Wish I had read this before joining CTS... would have saved me an aweful lot of trouble. I resigned CTS within 4 days of joining and now they are asking me to pay 2 months salary and have termed it as Job Abandonment...
                Being a cognizant employee, I know pretty well how the HR behaves with its employee. They even force you at their best to do according to their wish. So its really pathetic to deal with them.
                I am shocked to know that I am not the only one to have had such a bad experience with Cognizant Technology Solutions. I had requested for a transfer to my hometown for nearly 5 months. On the same ground I had resigned and served 25 days of notice period. On 27 Oct 2015, I had a discussion with my manager that he will be shortly arranging my transfer based on the approval from client. Client? I wondered, whether I was their employee or that of the clients. Also that day I submitted my access card and Id to my team leader after informing my manager that I no longer with to continue with them. Even though I served 25 days of my notice period, they sent me Job abandonment mail and treated it as if I did not serve any notice period at all. It adversely affected my career as no company was willing to hire me after knowing about this incident and wanted a clear relieving letter. Instead of giving me a relieving letter, what they did was to harass me by sending a series of mails demanding 2 months of salary from me along with the loss of I-card and if I failed, they would initiate a legal proceeding against me. Am I a criminal if I wanted to be with my family members and take care of my ageing father? Was it my fault if they could not convince their client for a transfer? Why should I pay for their faulty management. Very bad company and the worst experience of my life. I hate CTS.

                I have 8 years of experience. HR suddenly called me last week and asked me to resign. he called me to differenct cts location every day to put pressure on me otherwise they threatened me to terminate. they didn't give 2 months notice period as per the company policy.

                Cognizant is the worst company that I have ever worked with. Please don't join Cognizant.

                I have worked for 4 Years 8 months in Cognizant Technology Solutions. September 25th 2015 was my last working day. I had to quit the organization because my manager was monitoring my mails and communicator chats. Each and every chat on oc was viewed by manager. At first i thought it was ok but later he started monitoring my phone as well. Each and every call and message, messages on whatsapp, viber, etc on my phone was viewed by that cheap guy. Gradually he got scared and asked others to access my phone. Gradually many managers got involved in this including the HR's. List kept on increasing i could here many people discussing about my personal life. I can think of only one reason why he did this was he was very possessive about me i guess and thought had claim on me and i still cant imagine why other people where discussing me, my personal life is as normal as anybody else's. Other people instead of confronting him joined him in this shameless act. I had no other go than quitting. Now i am still not sure whether they are still continuing to monitor my phone. I am unable to use my own phone and this is very frustrating. Spying is an illegal act atleast now they should stop as i have quit the company. I have already changed my number 2 - 3 times. Can somebody please help me. ?
                I have a bad experience with HR and GWFM. I asked release from current project and got released. Now the GWFM guy and HR is trying to push me to one Critical project. I have mentioned my constraints to HR and GWFM about joining that critical project. Yet they dont understand. HR is threatening me to join. I feel like im being pushed and i have no option. Please Can anyone suggest me how to handle this situation properly..?
                On bench since last few weeks. No calls from projects. HR is asking to go and look on your own. Are you kidding. Is it my responsibility to look for projects or yours.
                Now they jave asked me to resign as I have crossed the bench time and I am not into any project. Look the way they want to reduce the bench strength. No proper system to track skills. Moreover I've H1B. Still being forced to resign.

                  I have applied for PF transfer from TCS organization to Cognizant Technology Solutions. TCS has transferred PF amount in the Month of April 2010 to Cognizant and Cognizant had transferred amount to PF Office chennai. So, I asked Cognizant, they said, they have not still got updates from PF OFFICE (EPFO, RO, Chennai). I want know the status of PF transfer (Status) so that I can ask my Organization for the same.

                    I have sent a below detailed complaint to Spicejet. but no reply. please read through this before booking Spicejet

                    Complaint:

                    This is regarding the cancellation of the ticket, PNR# Q4LJBE.

                    By mistake I have booked a ticket for October 5th, actually it was indented for October 15th. I agree that it was a mistake from my end. BUT I haven’t got any intimations (calls or SMS) at least an 30 minutes before the flight departure. I feel like both parties (me and Spice jet) has to bear the responsibility.

                    So when contacted to the spice jet customer care on 10/07/2010, they are telling it is not possible to reimburse more than INR 2000 (ticket cost INR 7350).

                    I am really sorry that I cannot accept this deal. I would request you to reimburse at least 80% of the ticket cost.

                    To bringing you in notice. I am a frequent traveler in Spice jet ( you could check with my Phone number/name, [protected], Name- Babu Rajanish).

                    After this incident I may rethink my future travel options with Spice jet. Kindly reimburse 80% of the ticket fare. Looking ahead for a positive response from your end.

                    Spicejet the worst customer care ever i have seen.

                    3rd class service for travellers. Hats offfffffff to Spicejet...


                    I, myself Minish Patel had passed thru a very bad experience with Cleartrip Customer Executive.

                    I had booked 2 return tickets of Spicejet Ahd-Delhi for trip date[protected] through website. After few days i wanted to re-schedule my trip date to[protected], so i process required steps through Cleartrip.com but by the time your server was down, so i called to customer care & concern person on phone over there replied me very positively n said your verification n all necessary details has been taken n re-schedule request has been processed n now we are tranferring your line to our other department just to make additional difference payment, but somehow at that time Phone-line transfer was not possible at your end, so your employee told me to wait for next 1 hour n we will call you back on your registered cell just for payment, rest process has been done. So i waited for a phone call from your side for the rest of d day, n after a long waiting next day when i called to customer care i came to know that by the time flight rate has been hiked by 2800/-. n i have to pay today's rate, while i was been confirmed on fon previous day about ticket rates.

                    Now you just clarify me, if at that time on fon if i had booked my tickets, then this will not happen... bcoz of your server error n executive's fon line transfer problem i have had to bear atleast 2800 x 4 = 11200 addition loss.

                    Next time its confirm i will never prefer to go with cleartrip. you can check my login's past records also.

                      corruption has become rampant everywhere , and pvt MNC companies, which are thought to be very transparent

                      and clean in their operation, have also come under the grasp of corruption.

                      People are devising unique ways to cheat the system. Here is one example. TCS (Tata consultancy Services)

                      conducts recruitment (offcampus/oncampus), and selects lots of candidates every year. Some of the people in

                      recruitment panel have built nexus with other institute. They are asking candidates to do a course in a

                      particular institute. The course fee for the course comes around 60 K - 1 lakh. They are threatening that if

                      they don't do the course he/she(the candidate) will not be selected. These recruiters(panel members) have

                      agreement with the institutes. They divide the money among themselves. This way it's a win-win situation for

                      the institute as well as the recruitment panel member. But, in this process, poor families/ poor

                      students/candidate suffer. Also, for the company it's a loss as it may be losing deserving candidates who

                      are not selected because they refuse to do the course.

                      This is not limited to TCS only but to number of very large MNCs operating in india also.

                      I wish the companies take action on these corrupt people.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have not received my Provident Fund amount till date. It has been around 5 1/2 months now that I have applied for my withdrawal. I was working with Cognizant Technology India Pvt. Ltd for the period[protected] to[protected] and my PF number is TN/MS/31309/032826.

                          I have followed up with my company and they told that they have already submitted my form 19 & 10C to PF Office, Chennai.

                          I have also provided my bank account to which I wanted my money to get credited, in the withdrawl form itself. Its standard charted bank, secunderabad Branch. But nothing got credited.

                          Can you please advice me on the status of my PF withdrawal please.

Ltd (now Cognizant India Pvt. Ltd) for the period[protected] to 16-Nov-2007 and my PF number is DL/27812/279.

                            I have followed up with my company and I have been told that they have already submitted my form 19 & 10C to RPFC, Wazirpur.

                            I have also provided my bank account to which I wanted my money to get credited, in the withdrawl form itself. Its United Bank of India, Cannaught Circus Branch. But nothing got credited.

                            Can you please advice me on the status of my PF withdrawal please.

                            Food card funds not transfered from old card to new card

                            Hi,

                            My food card was made un-operational and issued me a new card, but the funds present in old card are not tranfered to the new card. Please help.

                                This is with refrence to my savings account opening issue.

                                I have joined cognizant Technology solutions and need to open salary account in your bank.I have Address proof as Voter ID,Pan card,Marraige certificate as name change proof and pan card.

                                But the representative af bank at cognizant Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd refuse to open the account as the Voter ID was in my other name before marraige inspite of my proof of marraige certificate provided.

                                Secondly i went to Hinjewadi Branch Phase 2 in pune (Branch Code 0986 or your ref) to open the savings account.Submitted the same documents and opened the savings account with the deposit of Rs 10,200.The same is been processed.Then why is the earlier salary account opening hampered and rejected.
                                I am following up with them from last 2 weeks for opening account.

                                I have to borrow 10200 from some one else and fulfill all the transactions requirements.The representative Mr.Sanjay Chouhan had filled the Form on 17th of Feb 2010 and commited that within 5 days the account will be activated and later on you will have to convert this account into salary account.

                                They have provided me welcome kit and My Bank Account no is :[protected] and my Cust ID is[protected].

                                After 3 Days on 20th Feb I received a call that i need to visit to branch for cross verification again.

                                I went to Branch on 22th of Feb 2010,showed all the documents then the form was sent for further process.After that i got a commitment that tomorow my account would be activated and i would get a intimation of activation.

                                I had got not a single feedback from branch regarding this Instead I called customer care guys and then i again got a feedback that form is being rejected for wrong entry of pincode in address proof.

                                I have already commited to others giving my icici bank account no for transactions.

                                If this is the response then it is terrrible.I need further escalation matrix for icici with their email id.

                                If the person who needs to open icici account has to go through these phases then it is worse .Request you to log case regarding ICICI Hinjewadi branch Phase 2 in pune code (0986).

                                This very poor response how will the customer open a account.

                                  Contract Employee Treated Badly In Cognizent
                                  Complaint on the brain less... sorry... guys with no brain... Mr. Venkat (Manager, HR). Balram (HR Executive)

                                  These two guys who are working in COGNIZENT is treating the contract employees like a slave. They were asked ... no, forced to work for 12 even 14 hours a day... and finally, hurt them and throw them away.

                                  " YOU ARE A CONTRACT EMPLOYEE. YOU DONT HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO QUESTION THE EMPLOYEES OF CONGNIZENT"

                                  Can you imagine?? just because you are on contract, you are denied HUMANS Right.. right to question.
                                  COGNIZENT makes people work as a slave for them.

                                  and i wonder if this is normal in all other organizations...

                                  What ever, i know what i can. And i know what i am. From my side, i worked even more than that they asked from me. And still... i really cant digest.... the way they treated me.. if at all there is God.. those people need to be treated in the same one... in the future....... Its my wish... I dont have enough strength to fight. i am so poor to withstand.. but i have the technology in my hands.. i know how to convince myself.

                                  Anyway.. if you are working on contract.. try to move to a good company soon... atleast if you are offered to work on contract from CONGNIZENT.. beware, even you will comeacross this situation!

                                  As am american, IT person, one of the very very very few, if not only one, so everyone knows who i am now, I who worked for cognizant, I saw this 'slave' treatment first hand. They tried that Bull shxx behavior with me and I was eventually, but first i had to train my replacement or be fired immediately, after that they renamed my job description and tried to force me to relocate, at my own expence. Which is completely normal, forced relocation at your cost. Also if your on a visa or even if your work in india and you get a job offer from someone else, be prepared for your notice to be turned downm they will dictate the terms at which you are allowed to leave, after they think they got all the information out of you and dont need you any more. When they opened in South America, it wasnt a mass hire, it was a large India layoff and replaced with S.American cheeper labor. The same ting in Chine, lay off 10K indianies to hire 20K chineese. At one time the HR department stepped in to make changes to the education of those just coming to the US. Wanta know what happened HR was oursourced. Go figure. If they promise you a raise, its BS lie. They will find a way to freeze your salary. To get ahead, lie, cheat, and find a cheeper way to do it. Period. I am not a disgruntled x-employee. I couldnt beat them so I joined them and milked it for all it was worth, as long as I could. Wake up America!!! Buy American, and treat your partner companies equal no matter where they are, and treat your employees like they deserve to be treated. Not stand on their backs, rapeing the fruit of their labor.

                                    During the recession hit period, Cognizant had a good time by foreseeing things. but there was no good done to the employees who worked hard for that.
                                    Salaries for the associates are not hiked last stating the reason of recession when enquired about this year the statement was 'can't comment on the exact percentage of hike and how the hike would be' but now as all would be knowing cognizant is recruiting like anything and providing unbeliveable hikes to the lateral entrants.
                                    No justice is being done to the employees who have sticked to this company.

                                    I agree with you as I too am emplyee of Cognizant and on the verge of dissatisfaction...
                                    I agree with you. They dont treat the employee properly. They pay good for laterals but there is no reward for the one who works for cognizant with the spirit. But we should not lose the spirit. lets give our best and lets see when we will get reward for it.

                                        i attended interview with cognizant and got selected. They offered me time of 1 month to join. In between 1 month they told me that they are not going to process Green card. So after 1 month I decided not to join. So they block listed me from the company. And also iam not getting job in any big it Indian companies since they have network (internal website to track).since 3 years I don’t have proper job, Pl suggest me what to do

                                        ICICI Collection agents are calling our organziation has Police Inspector’s. This is totally not encouraged.
