Hi,

My parents wanted to book an apartment at Godrej Rejuve and visited their sales office. In the beginning, we clearly mention that we are looking for a Carpet area (as per Rera) of min 700 sqft and our budget is X amount. At that time the salesperson told that the carpet area for so and so flat is 703 sq ft, based on that we went with it and paid booking amount. Later on when we came home and calculated the area and found out that the actual carpet area as per Rera is 606 sq ft and not 700 sq ft as was told to us.

We went back the next day immediately to clarify things and were told that the technical team will get back to me with the details to answer my query. They did not provide the details until 3 days when I decide to cancel it.

They shared the details later where the carpet area mentioned is 606 sq ft and not 700 sqft. They sold us the flat saying that it was a 703 sq ft carpet area. My parents are investing a lifetime of saving and felt cheated, so decided to cancel it finally.

Today we called to cancel then are arguing and telling us that it's a non-refundable token amount where this is not true and was not conveyed to us at the time of paying the amount.

No documents were signed by the primary applicant (My father).

Please help us with this. Thank you!

Please close the complaint. I got a refund. I had gone to the Godrej Rejuve office as the salesperson (we talked initially) was not replying and not forwarding the superior's contact details even after asking again and again. I went to the office and yelled in front of other customers (the office was closed early and there was only security as the office closed early) The security guy called the supervisor and she was not ready to talk to us. The security told us to come back again later when everyone would be here. We left without any firm answers. To our surprise, the refund was processed within a couple of hours and it was in my bank account even though it was after office hours. Seems like Godrej's sales team just pushes customers until they break down and take drastic steps. I would suggest everyone who wants a refund directly go to the sales office and create a scene to get the refund, calling and emails won't do good as they just fall on deaf ears. Overall terrible experience and will never again go for Godrej Properties.

It's been 2 months and I haven't got the refund yet. The sales team agreed to give a refund and said that I will get the refund in 30 days. It's been 2 months and I haven't got the refund yet.

I would suggest everyone who wants a refund directly go to the sales office and create a scene to get the refund, calling and emails won't do good as they just fall on deaf ears.

Overall terrible experience and will never again go for Godrej Properties.
I forgot to mention it's the Token amount of Rs 1 lakhs and not the booking amount.

    Dear Sir,
    We were assured on paper that we would get ADVANCE Payment Rebates at 12% pa based on Godrej [protected]@CE scheme.
    The CRM of Godrej Golf Links Greater Noida does not respond on email or receive our calls. We have written to higher management but there is no acknowledgement of the same. It seems after taking Hard Earned Money of Buyer, Godrej Properties shies away from their responsibilities. The project is yet to be delivered.
    Kindly help us fight these malpractices by Godrej Properties.

      Recently I bough 2bhk at godrej green glades, on the booking time they commit to us that if any changes you need in your flat we will arrange a meeting with our architect.

      we make small request that we need the same pilar near to kitchen as you show in sample house, they said drop a mail to us will will check and come back to you. and they revert to us this is not possible, I said it is ok but why your sales team commit to us that we will do it? (Mr. Ankur - sales person name he is with Mr. Ravi (Prop tiger properties).

      Sales team is only make a words, once you buy the flat they even not picking your calls.

        We have paid stampduty of 313000 in February 2020 for agreement purpose but the agreement was delayed from your end and done on December 2021 as per the revised stampduty rates due to which were suppose to get our refund of excess amount paid on stampduty. Despite of communicating with RM Madhusmita Das we have not received any refund till date. We are just receiving mails for construction payment which we have paid. We have received mail from RM regarding 1st payment due on which we contacted her and asked about our refund which she had said will be received by April 2021 during plinth payment time. But nothing has been received yet. We mailed her asking her for solution on it as the refund process is delayed from your companies end, for which she had taken 2 workings from us to reply and wasted our 4-5 days without any reply. Despite of replying on our mail with some solution on that issue she is just mailing for due payments, it's penalties and harrassing us. It seems neither the employee nor the Company is interested in loss of customer money due to delayed refund process and just bothered only of their penalties.

          Dear Godrej Team,
          Yogesh Ranjan this side, I purchased a unit in Godrej Summit, Sector 104, Tower K, Flat No 105, Gurgaon, Haryana. It is nearly 7 to 10 days since I have taken the handover of my unit. The tiles which which are placed in the hall area is very unevenly placed they are not in level and some of them are damaged also. The same problem is been reported but no solution. I am very much annoyed. Please look into this matter.

            I have taken handover of my flat in Godrej Oasis in Dec 2019. Since then I have been pursuing registration of my flat with Godrej Propoerties. After much delay, I was asked to pay stamp duty charges in Dec 20 and registration of my flat was schduled on 28 Dec 20.

            As I live another state, I made arrangements to travel by air and arrived in Gurgaon for the registration process. However on the day of reaching the Tehsil, I was informed by Godrej Properties that stamp duty rates have been increased by 2% and that is why registration is not happening. I paid the additional 2% stamp duty the very same day but the registration could not be undertaken. All this while I had to run behind the Godrej Properties relationship manager for undertaking the registration but she was clueless and had no idea why the registration process could not be undertaken even after paying revised stamp duty.

            In Apr 21, Godrej Properties again contacted me that registration process had started for Oasis and that I should plan the registration of my flat. In end Jun 21 I informed the team that I could travel to Gurgaon in mid Jul to undertake the registration. I asked Godrej Propoerties to schedule the registration only after all clearances were in place since I had to travel by flight with my spouse from outstation and since I had already had a bad experience in Dec 20. I was assured by the team that all clearances were in place and that the registration would be planned on 14 Jul 21.

            However, on reaching Gurgaon I was informed on 13 Jul 21 that the registration was not happening on 14 Jul as there was a server issue. I nevertheless visited the Tehsil on 14 Jul 21 and fould out that registration process was in progress normally and there were no server issues at the Tehsil office.

            On enquiring from Godrej Propoerties between 14 to 16 Jul 21, I got to understand that due to a tax payment issue in the No dues Management System of Haryana, token for registration is not being issued to Godrej Properties from 12 Jul 21. I was informed that the tax had already been paid and an objection to the tax demand has been raised with MCG and till the tax payment was updated by the Govt Dept, the registration cannot be scheduled.

            I asked my relationship manager as to why was I called from outstation if all clearances were not in place and that too this happened for the second time. But the response of the relationship manager was just a 'SORRY SIR'. Is this what Godrej Properies calls 'CUSTOMER CENTRICITY'?

            Would a sorry have been acceptable to Godrej Properties if I had not made the payments in time? Despite having written several emails on the patheic and lethargic customer service, I have not received any email or call from the senior management.

            I have sought compensation from Godrej Propoerties for the travel costs incurred by me for the two futile trips to Gurgaon from my place of residence for failing to undertake registration of my flat on the dates planned by Godrej Properties.

              I paid 2 lakhs which is 5% as an application amount on 28th July 2021 in Godrej Upavan. Unfortunately due to personal reason, which the sales and CRM team are aware of, I am unable to continue with my booking. The ridiculous part is, I informed my CRM on 7th July about my inability to buy the flat as I do not have funds to do so. He very slyly responded that it sounds a genuine issue and that he will discuss with the management and get back. I was relieved and glad I made a right choice. But to my surprise the very next day, he sends me a reminder to pay other 5% of allotment amount. And that is not it, without receiving the allotment money, he also sends me the allotment confirmation/letter after 2 days. When I replied with surprise of his sudden efficiency, he informs me that the money will be forfeited. He tells me about their policies.
              So Godrej, the oldest consumer brand and apparantly because of which it has a reputation of being people's brand and trust worthy, all of sudden are just like any other builder out there in the market who do not care what a common man actually is going through but about their business and sales. They are interested in making profits by forfeiting customers application money and on interest that they will forcefully levy after ignoring to resolve the issue on time. I have send emails to top management and haven't received a single response yet.
              The best part is, I am already invested in other Godrej property in Pune. If I had to just make an excuse to exit I would have for both. But I guess they care a least, customer or no customer.
              I don't understand why make customer's life miserable if they choose to cancel at such an early stage. This is mental torture and harrasment.

              Can you tell me where can I share my details, because I have tried connecting with your team on various platforms already but most of them reverting back are from either sales or CRM department for whom customer's problem and grievance is petty in compare to their sales number. All they do is suggest begging and borrowing to retain the customer. So they care of helping themselves and not their customers. I request you to help me connect with someone who is authorised to help me in my situation because I cannot deal with one more employee from sales and CRM whose conversation starts and end with, 'I am sorry but this is our policy and we cannot do much to help you'. Because that is not the help, I am looking for.

                Hello,

                I received a demand letter asking for 10% of amount and provided end date as 08/07/2021 as last day to pay disbursement amount.

                When I reached out to bank asking for disbursement I got to know that Godrej has not completed legal documentation with bank due to which they denied to process disbursement.

                After multiple follow up on phone and email, finally around 6th Jul’21 before last 2 days of disbursement, Godrej Properties has started submitting legal documents. After that bank started the process as per their time line due to which disbursement last date crossed .

                Again now bank came to me that Godrej Property is still lacking in legal approval for some scheme due to which my disbursement is again on hold .

                They already mentioned in demand letter that if you are unable to pay disbursement requested amount by 08/07/2021, Godrej will start charging penalties along with 18% GST on penalties amount .Since from start there is no mistake from my end, Godrej is keep delaying the process by not submitting legal documents. I have also dropped them multiple emails asking them to provide me written confirmation that no penalties would be levied on me for not paying disbursement amount on time because it’s completely Godrej responsibility to submit legal documents on time before issuing demand letter but they are not responding and I am keep getting mails for penalties.

                This seems to be very unprofessional behaviour of Godrej and seems like they are behaving like Goons .

                  Dear Sir/ Ma'm,

                  It is with immense happiness that we had made a booking of an apartment with Godrej in their project Godrej Emerald on 04.07.2021. The apartment we had selected was 2101 in Tower 4.
                  An amount of Rs. 1 lakh was paid on the same day and an amount of Rs. 4 lakh was transferred on 05.07.2021.
                  It it with deep regret, we put forward the application for cancellation of the apartment, as we are not able to arrange the consolidated amount of Rs. 110 lakh within the stipulated time.
                  About 85% of the total amount has to be arranged by 02.10.2021, for which the sources we had anticipated could not be arranged by the time.

                  So, we humbly put forward our request to cancel the booking with refund of the amount paid till date, ie, Rs. 5 lakh.

                  The details of the payment made has been attached herewith for your reference.

                    You are an awful company with complete NON-transparency and all lies. Your employees are trying to hide their lies and reply to clients like a chatbot. No one cares to read emails since you do not care about any client. I will send the matter to Haryana RERA, your Fraud and Investigation Teams, your company Auditors, and your compliance teams, among others. I have sent an email more than 25 times, and your employees are replying to cover themselves up, hiding each other's mistakes, and replying secretly, removing other parties from the conversation. Your company better revert to me as I am not going to leave this harassment and awful behavior. SUCH A AWFUL, DISTRUSTED, NON-RELIABLE, DISASTER BRAND TO DEAL WITH!!!                     I have sent so many Emails, no one cares, especially your Customer care and Relationship Management. It feels like I am dealing with a Small Grocery Store and not a Company that is a part of Godrej Group. Such a shame for Godrej Properties!!!

                      We had on 16/09/2014 paid Rs 1, 99, 641/ Rs 90/per sq feet as
                      maintenance in advance, and Rs 50/per sq feet as maintenance
                      deposit. What about maintenance deposit?

                        Hi, I've already made payment for flat in June 2019 but Godrej is not giving me the possession of the flat. Its already July 2021. The relationship managers are also not resolving the issue and wasting time by sending useless mails. I'm really disappointed with Godrej's after sales service.

                          I had booked Godrej Reserve plot in 2019. But due to pandamic I am unable to go for registration and finding other means to dispose the property. But all of sudden Godrej sends me termination notice. They don't provide status updates, not proper CRM connect, CRM goes to personal leave but no alternative contact provided. I only received messages for late payment that too they are changing high interest and penalty. No body is responding properly and they are deliberately harassing customer by charging interest and serving termination notice. I am asking for few months more as per initial December 2021 is possession but they are not accepting for few months extension. They are worst. They don't help you. All they want is to harass and take money

                            I bought a 1 bed room under 20:80 plan. After the getting the advance of 10% on 9th March 2021 they asked me to pay the stamp duty within 30th March 2021. The same was paid in time.

                            Godrej took nearly one month to assign a CRM. The CRM is of no use and doesn't give clear replies. After months of follow up they shared an agreement which is having misnomers against the costing sheet basis which the advance was paid. No solution is being given and it is being told that if I don't agree to execute the totally unfavorable agreement within July 2021 then i will loose the stamp duty benefit. Not only the same they are changing the community facilities and the customer doesn't have any solution. I feels like I am cheated by Godrej hence escalating the here.
                            Considering that time is of essence i am seeking urgent help on this

                              This complaint is for the cancellation for the one unit from godrej boulevard,
                              Godrej boulevard has a channel partner by whom they do all process this channel partner is Squareyards .
                              Here all this commitment from godrej and there partner committed me is all false and when i came to know about the details which they had given me is all not the same.
                              Here i paid 10% booking amount on two units which is 601/ 602 there channel partner sell me this only saying u have to pay on booking amount and get profit on it rest all no money further till the possession u have to whatever third party will do the payment u will only get the profit on your booking amount.
                              And there channel partner from Squareyard who gave me false promises name is Mrinal Trivedi and Biraja Das and from godrej employee i just check with him he is Abhijeet igole,
                              And what they did was not good to me when i requested them to instead of two units which they cheated me by false commitment plz cancel and deposit my money to one unit as i am from middle class family and couldnot manage to pay huge amount further and situation also not good because of covid, no jobs, this people from Godrej send me mail i[censored] cancel your other unit ur 10% booking amount which paid will be forfiet .
                              Do you thing what this people from godrej do is this right after requesting them also no use we put all our hard earn money in this which they cheated us by false commitment . As i was thinking Godrej has its name but after such behaviour by saying this all from there employee its really make me bad reputation for Godrej properties.

                              I dont think they resolved my solution, they are just saying its solved but they are least bothered to solve a common man problems they only worried for there money and when we are going to pay them all . Godrej builders are least bother for whatever problem going with us.

                                Water supply disruptions

                                I am residing in S1 407. In last three days water supply has been disrupted twice. Even today there is no water supply in S1.
                                Kindly confirm of this is an structural issue or a one off case.
                                I have recently shifted as tenant into the society and want to be aware of the exact permissions from MCD regarding the water supply.
                                Also the intercom cabling has not been done. Is there any near term plan of doing the same?...

                                    I have taken flat from the builder March, 2021 and till now there are lot of issues all the documents be it Property tax or electricity everything is tagged to other person(he had given initial token money and then withdrawn). Also the Tax n bill are not paid from 2019, not getting any response from them.
                                    Also no intercom, doors taps nothing is fitted properly.

                                      We have booked fast in 2015 and with lot fo fake promises and broachers that been shared. all fo the promises are been fake including the car parking. when we book a flat in 2015 with valued around 70 +lakhs including reserved shaded parking in the same tower and now they saying the parking are full and allocated to someone and asking me to use open space parking and the possession also delayed with no compensation

                                      Now we also facing the issue with water leakages in the bedroom and no one is supporting us to sort out.

                                      The regards to my flat T5A 702.

                                      I paid more than 70 lakhs with all all applicable taxes and charges and registration and again some charges for doing registration. And you people promised my flat (T51 702) one shaded parking and the other car I can park anywhere as its 70% open space. (Your sales guy Mr Roshan promised disappeared now) and now you not even giving me one parking. why I need to use open car park? Am I guest for my apartment? Godrej, you guys target NRI and take all money from them and now asking fro proof for car parking. I booked in 2015 which is 6 years now and the cost was more than market price that time and because of Godrej brand we opted and now you cheating people like this. I need shaded parking at my tower or I ask for 10 lakhs compensation for the cheating and stress you hve given to me. And all legal charges will be on you till I get justice.
