I am a regretted owner of a flat at Godrej Aqua, Bengaluru. I am a NRI residing in Belgium. I want to complaint regarding the poor customer service with Godrej properties.
I have been following up since November 2021 regarding the registration process with one of the then representative Tharun, as i was travelling to India in December 2021 for vacation. But as the regristration process is getting delayed and as i had to travel back, i made a power of attorney on my brother in laws name ans travelled back. Sice then i have been constantly been following up with Tharun regarding registration every now and then, like for every month. We have received an email on 1st April 2022 intimating that the handover will soon start. But not exact date. I have been waiting since then and again following up on the same with Tharun. I have received my final invoice on 18th July 2022. Immediately i have paid the full amount including pre maintenance charges without any delay. Inspite of this and again constant follow I came to know that Tharun has already long before initiated regiatrations for some other members inspite of my constant follow up. Then he disappears and Anjali, another representative in his place comes into picture. I have been following up constantly with her too. Now all of a sudden today i receive an email that I am levied upon some handling charges as the holding charges will be levied if the registration was not done before 90 days of the intimation email which is absolutely rubbish, ridiculous pathetic what not which is of no use. If the handling charges are to be levied they should be since the start of last invoice email. What is this stupid horrible worstest service i really dnt understand. Are these representatives qualified enough?. They are insane. What non sense non sync customer service is this. I am already in peaks of my frustration regarding the worst modular kitchen work which was promised for. Now on top of this the handling charges. I am not going to pay a single penny of this handlong charges. Inspite being an NRI i tried my level best to constantly consistently follow up with the team. This is not at acceptable. Afterall we didnt buy a chocolate from Godrej but we bought a damn property. Absolutely horrendous it is. I am not at all going to recommend Godrej to any of my near and dear at all and i will make sure to put this statement boldly in whichever social platform it may be. I want this issue to be addressed ASAP by the team. Hundreds of representatives keep on changing and no one even bothers to stay updated on a customer history in their absence. Really really dissapointed regretting that as to why i bought this property from godrej. Please contact directly on my wats app number with the representative Anjali.

    In kurnool very poooooooo...r customer service.

    If you do not solve the problem, I will put a big board at your showroom and sell you my freezer and post it on social media.

      I have been cheated by the sales person of Godrej properties and I tried to all sort of negotiation but having no positive results hence raising a complain on the consumer forum.

      My expectation from this complaint is to get a full refund of my amount.

      Please find complete issue listed below and also attached all the required email trails, Other required proof.

      First email came from the Godrej properties ( it is there in the email trail attachment) and below was the response from my end.

      “As per discussion and the details which i have got, at the time of flat booking, it was said that it will be 3 floor parking and 2 floor from there(which would be 5th floor from ground) and now what you are giving me is at the level of parking which itself is contradicting to your statement which you had said at the time of booking.

      Also during our discussion it was said that the flat will have 849 carpet area and later when the details were given it was 826 carpet area, which is also false information. And when i asked for the 849 one, it was communicated that i will have to pay 25K extra. So why can't 25K be reduced from the 826 unit which is now alloted to me?

      This is not my unit which i had asked for (the unit should be 2 floors above the parking), So please change the unit in the same amount or refund the full amount which is already paid.
      The total amount paid till now is 4, 18, 550 (1 lakh google pay on 3rd june and the remaining 3, 18, 550 paid via check which cleared on 17th june2022).

      Selling the flat on the basis of false promises and not providing details of flat elevation for more than a month. You guys have hidden these details from the customer and have no courtesy to inform the same.

      So do let me know how we can settle this? But if this does not fit my requirement I would like to cancel my booking and would like to get a full refund.

      It has been an emotional rollercoaster ride for me since the day I had booked the property with Godrej, but it does not seem to go ahead in a fruitful manner. I am sorry to tell you that if this does not get resolved in the next 10 days I will be forced to approach Consumer court for the same.Â

      And henceforth i need a written response and no verbal communication”

        My name is Vishal Shinde and I am writing this complaint to get refund of rupees 50, 000/-.

        I am working in abroad and contacted to Godrej Pune and sales team showed price is going to rise from tomorrow and said you need to book the flat unit today only in order to get advantage of the lower price.
        I had given token amount 50, 000/- for Godrej Forest Grove, Pune.

        I were totally confused but the sales team rushed us to make the payment the same night. I made a payment of rupees 50000/-.

        Sales Team said - This token amount of Rs.50, 000/- is 100% refundable in case you do not wish to proceed with the booking for any reason, refund will be processed within 15 working days.
        (I have Email mentioned the same)

        Due to some personal reasons, we decided to cancel the booking in next few days. We informed the sales team that we need to cancel the booking and do not want to go ahead with purchase and agreement.

        Now more than 3 month over since then i am keep following up sending them messages and emails but from Godrej team i didn't get any feedback.

        Being a reputed brand why Godrej is doing such kind of job?
        Being an NRI is that very hard to get refund?
        why Godrej harassing to the customer?
        I trust on Godrej is that my fault?

        I need urgent help.

          Godrej has received OC in JAN2022. Aqua team has failed to complete registration even after almost 7 months of receipt of OC.
          It is heard that certain customers who have purchased very recently are given opportunity for registration and occupation. Whereas customers who have booked flat during launch period and paid 90% amount in one year back are still waiting.
          Reply from Aqua team &RM is vague and not satisfactory. Request to look into the case by top management of Godrej properties.

              Hello, . Please help us, we are all suffering from poor communication from Godrej Avenue Team members, the staff you have put either they are over loaded or least bothered to attend customers. It is a hand over time absolutely no clear mail nor calls from them. Local builder is far better than so called Godrej. Please wake up wake up. You are being in construction line you need to change your attitude please

                I have book a 2 BHK in godrej Park retreat Bengaluru. E2203. I got the sales agreement documents on mail from atharv.[protected]@godrejproperties.com . I checked it and pointed out the mistake that my address is not as per my ( Vishal Kumar Sharma) aadhaar card. ( near panchamukhi hanumaan mandir is missing)
                In AFS file : under address of Vishal Kumar Sharma : word -"nilgiri" Is written twice. Make it once. And complete aadhaar card address is not there, like "near Panchmukhi mandir" Is also missing.

                In AFS file : Under address of Priyanka : the written address is not of aadhaar card. Can it be made of aadhaar card then please do it.

                I also informed about above correction to atharv from my mail I'd [protected]@gmail.com on 9th July 2022.

                Today on 16th July 2022 when I went to sub registrar office in Shivajinagar Bengaluru then I found that in documents word NILGIRI was written once ( corrected) and rest not corrected.
                I called Atharv on his mobile No. +[protected] then Mr. Atharv, with the help of his representative Named as Guru changed the document. In which the correction was made of My wife Priyanka address.

                Again one problem did not solved ( IN MY ADDRESS AGAIN THE LINE - NEAR PANCHMUKHI HANUMAAN MANDIR, NOT ADDED, WHICH IS THERE IN MY AADHAAR CARD)

                I went there after taking leave from my office and with my wife and 2.8 year old daughter. I have been told that due to this I will not face any problem. Hence after they convinced me, I signed the documents.

                Also they told me that at the time of registration every thing will be written correctly.

                This is to state that if I face any problem due to this event then under IPC section 65B, this complaint information will be used by me again Godrej Park retreat project ( if required)

                  I had booked 2 plots(GRPH1142, GRPH1295) in godrej reserve project Bangalore .As per the 10:90 payment plan I paid 10% per plot value which is around 14 lakhs rupees.
                  Later, I decided to discontinue with this project as I was not satisfied with the way godrej was dealing with the project and pressurizing to complete registration by paying balance 90% even though the work on amenities like clubhouse, parks etc was yet to be completed.
                  They started to put penalties for late registration and sending reminders every week.Meanwhile, they were not giving any satisfactory reply to my queries regarding the completion of the amenities.
                  So, I decided to quit and ask to refund my amount or transfer it to another godrej project in Bangalore but they did not refund saying as per agreement it cannot be refunded.
                  I have tried to multiple times by requesting my Relationship manager but is is also not able to resolve my problem.
                  As I don’t have the contact of further escalation manager for this, I am raising my complaint here hoping to get some positive results for my problem.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I request to provide refunds for payment made for booking cancellations made at Godrej Nature Plus, Sector 33, Sohna, Gurgaon through online mode for amount Rs.5, 93, 714/ dated 21.06.2022. The property was cancelled within 5 days after booking due to a personal unavoidable situation.

                    During purchase sales officer Divyanshu Varma was involved for property purchase and has been not responsive to my several request e-mails. It has been very unpleasant experience with Godrej Properties with no clarity on the refunds status.

                    I request to help and provide resolution to this situation.

                      I have visited the Godrej Ascend, Kolshet road, Thane. I have paid 1 lakh EOI as guided by the sales Manager - Mohini Bundela. After 2 days I have informed her that due to some personal reason.. we are not going ahead with it.

                      She took 4 days time and later after follow up she informed me.. that it was a booking amount and hence not refundable.

                      Can you explain how a property can be booked without signing up any documents.

                      This is a totally not acceptable from a renowned brand like Godrej.

                      I need a refund for my amount.. as I was not informed about it.. also strict action should be taken against the staff.

                        My name is Vicky Desai and I am writing this complaint to get refund of rupees 51000/-.

                        I went to visit the Godrej Hill Retreat property in Pune-Mahalunge where the sales team showed us the Godrej Medows 2. I was with my family and we liked the flats.

                        However we were not 100% sure on the decision to buy the flat. We asked for some time from the sales team.

                        However the sales team showed us some posters that price is going to rise from tomorrow and said you need to book the flat unit today only in order to get advantage of the lower price.

                        We were totally confused but the sales team rushed us to make the payment the same night. I made a payment of rupees 51000/-.

                          Dear Sir / Madam,
                          Recently I have purchased an apartment from the builder in their Godrej Aqua Project in Bangalore.
                          I have made all necessary payments and also completed the registration. While making the last payment there was an excess payment of Rs 3, 78, 000/- made by me. I had immediately raised the issue with their marketing team and had requested if I need to alter the final bank payout to adjust thus excess. I was assured it's not needed as the refund would be made in 1 week. I have been following up for last 1 month and no payout has yet been made.
                          It's unfair that the company charges interest for 1 day of delay in payments from customers but delays their payout. Ms Latha from Godrej Aqua has been communicating with me.

                            I have booked 2 bhk in Godrej premises through their authorised channel partner Square yard and they had committed some gift voucher along with cash back amount but after sometime the sales executive from square yard had left the company now since then I am keep following with both Godrej and Square yard but didn't get ans satisfactory response.Even earlier in between our interaction with Square yard, one manager had offered us for gift voucher in exchange of cashback along with other gift voucher but now no one is responding, it's cheating from Godrej as well as from square yard.

                              Since last few months I am gettig frequent text messages from Godrej properties marketing team which are unwanted and very irritating..almost everyday day there wj will be a message with a different sender ! I once called one of the sales guy and requested him to help in removing my name from their database..But of no use! Not sure whom to reach out to in this.. Hoping to get some solution.

                                  I have booked flat no 0201 in tower 5 on 26th june 2022 with the token amount of 100000 rupees.I swiped credit card for payment. Unfortunately because of some person reason i need to cancelled the flat booking, i informed same to sales manager over phone conversation.

                                  I got reply from sales representative that my amount will be forfeited

                                  Can you please look into this

                                    Hello,

                                    I visited Godrej properties Sarjapur road on May 1st for enquiry. The sales representative forced me to book a flat if interested as they are being sold very fast and he himself and his manager promised me that the booking amount of 50k will be refunded if I am cancelling it. The next day I took the decision to not proceed and informed the sales person about cancellation. He collected the booking details and a cancelled cheque from me for refund, but there after no updates. He is not even picking up calls and not responding to mails. Is there anyone responsible from Godrej properties I can talk to?
