Dear Consumer Complaint,

I have availed broadband connection with Hathway with A/C : [protected]
Connection start from Date : 30-NOV-2019 to Date : 29-FEB-2020
Closed connection Date : 28-FEB-2020

I requested Hatway to close the account on 27th February 2020, and return the device in April 2020, and I updated the Google page with all of the requested information.
After a year, I began receiving calls from Hathway Broadband to activate the connection, which stated that the account had not been closed and that no device had been handover.
I disconnected connection in 2020 and have been receiving calls from Hashway since 2021, with various numbers. It's torture from the Hathway Broadband.

I received a call from [protected] and agreed to close the connection after being asked to pay 425 rupees to the UPI "hathway.[protected]@indus, " which is refunded when the account is closed, but instead of closing the account, they activated it.
I received an invoice from Mobile Number [protected] via whatsapp and an email from "[protected]@hathway.com, " and I received a call for activation. When I try to contact the above-mentioned numbers, they are unavailable. I also attempted to contact Hathway, but had no lick.

Note:
1. When I tried to contact customer service at [protected] / [protected] - It seems that there are many accounts registered with my name, which baffled me because I had never opened any account with Hathway.
2. Requested a refund of 425 rupees from Hathway due to their negligence in allowing me to pay them. The return procedure is stressful here, and I don't want to get any calls from Hatway from now onwards.
3. Please take stern action against such firms.

Customer care agent called me again and again and asked me to recharge and said then only they will give my connection but now they are saying we can't provide u connection in your area, now my recharge money wasted

Since am relocating to different city, I called customer care and told to disconnect my broadband on August 8th. 15th august was the renewal date. Also I have send email to them regarding the same. From August 15 stopped using the Hathway broadband. But am getting almost 10 calls a day and SMS from Hathway.

When my hathway internet reaches its expiry date, your customer support staff starts harassing by making close to 15-20 calls every day to recharge my account. This is very very disturbing.

Second, I was told I have an offer to get 200 mbps speed for Rs. 929. I made the payment of Rs. 929 with hope of getting 200 mbps speed. But my internet didnt get activated its almost a week now. Infact my internet speed is below mark at present it is only 40 mbps.

Last year I had faced same slow internet issue, then I was told by hathway agent to buy dual band router, I purchased that. Now hathway agents are forcing me to get dual band router from hathway, also I had returned the old router that was given by hathway but now they are not accepting that I have returned the router.
Now instead of fixing the problem, these agents are threatening that if I dont return the router they will fine me.

What kind of sevice is this? Can anyone look into this?

Really fed up with the service what they are doing I have registered a complaint for internet slowness still issue is not resolved worst technicians don't know what they are doing how to diagnose the problem really waste technicians

I deactivated my hathway account and also returned modem. And Its been more than a year now but still I am getting calls and sms everyday asking about renewal. I told them to delete my account and stop harassing me. I have raised requests to delete account on their customer care number.
I still continue to receive calls and sms. Blocking the caller doesn't help either because they keep calling from different numbers every time.

I am no longer using hathway services and still getting 5 calls minimum daily from them
I have told them over call thousand times to remove my number and yet they only keep talking about renewal of services.
I dont want to use hathway and will no longer be using it, I feel like getting harassed everyday

Please get this stopped immediately

I have paid amount for connection on July month, they completed cabling after two days, i did not get connection tried reaching multiple times no one responded, fed up with the process, .i have raised complaint for refund, i did not used single day also connection, from last two months raised request without resolution they closed request, can you please help me to get the refund.

I'm using Hathway Prepaid Broadband connection for last 1 year. Now Due to some reasons i have stopped use for last one month and its a prepaid connection i will use whenever required.

Now i'm getting every day 10 to 15 calls from hathway to recharge my account. Even Sunday they are calling and giving mental pressure.

on 25.08.2022 at 6.30 pm i got call from customer care executive and she speaking very abusive words to me.

Please take necessary action.

Very poor service provider we have suffered many times dp down nobody proper complain office or sett section provide by Gtpl.

From Aug Hungama cartoon channel is coming local language Tamil, please set the launguage to hindi as before..

I have disconnected my hathway account long back, still use to recieve 4-5 call daily to recharge it even if I have asked them to not call me again.its very disturbing to recive scam calls like these on daily basis.I have blocked their many numbers .still they are able to call me by new-2 numbers.

Hathway offer teams have been calling excessively

Sir this is to inform that there’s been no connections of the broadband since 4 days, an even after making complaints on helpline an raising tickets no help at all..now that we have online classes and other important offices work pending and creating huge issues and losses we will be filing a written complaint with the concerned administrator if this issues is not resolved at the earliest….today itself. I have registered new connection on 25.06.2022 vide receipt no 20220629111212800110168526362612601 CAF No [protected] an amount Rs. 3700/- for Six Month Broad band plan.

But some reason or Out of area city GTPL reject my registration

I have also requested to refund and sended all necessary document on 05.07.2022

but till date no reply from GTPL and his bhavnagar office staff,

So request to do needful help for the same

It has been 6 years I used Hathaway connection. Still daily calling and asking to reconnect. Just understand how painful it is. Dear sir can’t we do anything I can see thousands of people suffering only few people 1% bring into your notice. Important meeting, traffic all the time they call. Please take serious action

I am getting 60 calls per day, I have clearly informed them that i dont use their service, But still they call and harass.

I have the router issue and nobody came to resolve till now
