i m alpesh kadam staying in 418 vijaynagar tarsali baroda,
i had give the check of rupees 2000 on 30th march 2008 and the person incharge told me that he will give the internet with in 8 day and then after he has not yet given the net facility, then after 20day i have call this senior person at that time they have told that they will givning me the my payment back and they have told the date 30 april an up to 5/may have call them 15 times but all time they have told that they are have ing the problem in the account
please see in this case soon

    My customer number is 230655 . Pls note that after my repetitive complaints everyday regarding the connection unavailability for last one month or so. There has been no action. None of the executive has come to check the connection nor had called back. Its really pathetic to note that even after paying 1100 rs unlimited connection, no body is taking the charge.

    Even i tried to get the complaint on your site http://www.hathway.com/. buts its also as pethetic as your service level.
    I do not have any other way left other than approaching consumer forum and request to refund even my charges paid over last few months.

    I am Raj kumar residing at vadapalani. Currently i am on New easyway 128 which cost 450 and i would like to switch over to new scheme which is only 400 which is also unlimited.

    Please switch me over to new scheme which is also unlimited at 400.

      hi,

      I have a hathway cable connection in Noida since june 2007, since past 3 weeks it is not coming at all. Whenever i call my local cable operator who fixed this for me, he makes a mokery of the whole thing and makes fun, becuase he knows that I have paid the amount in full in advance last year only. Every day he says it will be functional in 2 hrs but it has been 3 weeks and nothing is working. I want to raise this complaint and claim damages from him. As after coming back from office in the evening watching TV is one of the ways to relax and stress busting. All this daily phone calls and talking to these in customer support has raised my stress levels.

      Hathway Datacom Pvt. Ltd. — No Response to complaints

      According to your new system, we accepted the user and password authentication system. Lateron I face a lot of frustration the next day of commencement of this system. At my first login I changed the new password. Again the password was resetted back to 'hathway123' without my information and I was trying to connect unsuccessfully. Hathway is giving a very useless rubbish support. I was trying customer care numbers but no one was picking phone. Sometimes it was out of service, sometimes it was ringing but no one picking up. This is my frustration: My connection was not working, no one picking up phone, the new security login window was not opening, your customer care representatives are not interested to HELP ME REALLY....................

      WHY THE HELL ARE WE USING HATHWAY INTERNET?

      One thing I tell to whoever read's this complaint, that whoever I've seen at Hathway Office, wasn't seemed working for HATHWAY!!! They don't care who is coming to their office and going out with getting upset. They just sitting before computer and typing something on. They don't even make sure whether the customer is really satisfied by their answers or not. REALLY I feel this, hathway doesn't care about customers, whenever I have made request to CLOSE my connection, I always have been asked for the reason like I owe something to Hathway. And the problem continues . . . . . . . we don't have freedom to terminate the connection and HATHWAY people never accepts their mistakes. I can't forgive myself for using hathway internet connection.

        Dear Sir,

        I live in virguambakkam area in chennai. For the past two months, hathway is advertising in their channel (c-Chennai channel) that hathway set top is free(MRP 0)
        without installation, activation charges and no hidden charges and for set top boxes contact local cable operator.

        When i contacted my cable opearator M/s.doorvani systems who is monopoly in our area they say I have to pay Rs.250/ for smart card and also to avoid they say everytime I ask no stock.

        I brought this matter to hathway and it seems they are hand in glove with cable operator, so they are not responding to my complaint.

        Also please note that recently they have changed from SCV to Hathway false promising all the customers in our area that hathway will offer more channels and
        we have many advantages by swicthing to hathway.

        In annanagar are same hathway cable tv opeator offered sony setmax channel without set top box and all the customers watch the cricket telecast of IPL matches.
        when we asked our opeator they say we have not recd the feed from hathway.

        kindly advise me how to go about this

        Sir, I am residing at Ayanavaram area in Chennai. Recently our cable operator has changed from Hathway to SCV. From that day 1 onwards, we are not able to get any of the spiritual channels properly. Especially " Sri Shankara" is totally not there. Aastha International is also missing. Saskar & Aastha is not clear. TTD only is available that too to some extent ok. Sir, is there any way to get the spritual channels in our cable? what is the procedure to get the "SRI SANKARA" CHANNEL importantly. Set-top box can give clear our problems? please what we have to do in this matter? Or any dish TVs to be set-up?

          Hathway your service sucks!!!

          i posting this complaint again, i have posted this yesterday. still engineer has not visited my place yet. again i have given a call today to see the status again the call center give me the same answer that the person will be there by today itself.

          this is ridiculas.

          i pray and request to the other people please...don't buy this product...if they give you in free of cost then also please dont buy this product. they dont have anything called"service" for customers.

          i have renewed my Hathway account in march 2008 month. my account number is 206339. i want to shift my connection from my hall to my bebdroom.

          i lodged a incident to Hathway customer care before a week. it was on wednesday they told me that the engineer will come at yor place on thursday. the person didnt came, on friday again i have give a call, they told me that the person will come tomorrow but in vain. on tuesday again i have given a call still the person has not visited my place. again i have given a yesterday they told me that tomorrow morning the person will be there by 12 AM, still the person has not visited my place.

          again today while i am filling this form i am on the line with the floor manager Sameer, he is saying that it will be done by today.

          Yup i have faced similar problems with Hathway internet service..
          in few words AVOID HATHWAY INTERNET SERVICE!!!

          I was forced to look at their plans since i couldnt get other internet providers. Hathway always has some back office problems - in short people problem in their corporate offices...

          I was without internet service for 4-5 days in late Feb' 2008 and their customer service is pathetic ... absolutely no response to repeated mails and NOT MAN enugh to resolve any issue.

          And to top it they have frequent internet connections drops ...

          hathway internet service — Connection Problems

          I have got a new IBM server around 2 months back. Since then every morning when i start the machine, the internet does not work. I have to call Hathway and get the binding cleared. This is a process I have to ritually follow every day to get internet activation.

          On binding clearing the internet starts working. I have requested Hathway to depute their technical person and get the problem resolved, however there has been no response on the same and the answers I keep getting is that "there is some problem with lan card of my comp" Am wondering in such a case why should it work after clearing of binding.

          The call centre people are not at all supportive and not willing to transfer the call to their superiors or somebody who can resolve the issue permanently.

          hathway plan speed actually is 512kp/2mbps but i obtain only 0..46mbps at night

          Respected sir i dont receive actual speed as stated at the time of agreement stated speed 512kb /2 mbps but receive 512 in day but in night only 0.46 mbps so plz give accurat speed

            I have a pre-paid account with Hathway Broadband and using it for last three years. The service was satisfactory. In Feb 08, all of a sudden, my connection got disconnected. On enquiry I was informed I have exceeded the usage limit. On further enquiry I got the details o[censored]sage from them, to my surprise, it mentioned that I had used internet for more than 200 Mb of transfer of data on 6 days, which I never used. Shockingly, it also mentioned that I had used internet on a particular day when I didnot switch on the computer. The only answer I got from them is thier systems are secured and nothing is wrong at their end. As per them it was my computer got hacked / or I have used the internet and was lying. There was no answer from them for my question how someone can hack my computer when it is not switched on.

            Beware. Someone in the company could be misusing your interent connection.

            These people are all thieves who deserve to be in jail for stealing customers money,
            First of all it's not your fault. Secondly it's Hathway's responsibility to ensure that all of their users' accounts are safe.

            Let me now correct your misconception. It's pretty easy to hack broadband accounts even if you're not online. It's not that the only way is when you access a computer and someone steals your account details. Your details are stored on server and many geeks know how easily to get them.

            Hundreds of BSNL accounts are getting hacked everyday!!!

            1st of all very sorry for u and any1 that this had happened, me was hacked few days back and i found out reasonable answers for these

            since there is software called MAC changer which can scan and change MAC easily
            we have to ensure our PC network security. for that i recommend to rename ur pc to nothing dont name ur pc with ur name or anything that shows ur personalty with which it is easy to get username ( since all password are 1234 and cant b changed by user)

            now that our pc name changed ... dont give ur complaint to any forum with ur name true one or ur username... i myself tried 2 guesswork and they worked for me :P

            but i take no pride in it and i have fully paid plan of hathway

            btw remember wat i have said and save urself cause u r only 1 who can save urself from hakcing

            hathway internet connections — misusing internet by them

            i am hathway internet customer, we are using since 3 years, we are paying 1200 change for 4 months approximately and 4GB download limit for 1 MBPS, but two months back they said ur browsing time completed and we did n't said any thing even we haven't faced this problem previously but we upgraded it to 12 GB browsing limit for four months for 2 mbps, after 15 days they disconnected internet and when we call back then they are saying that ur browsing limit completed, its not at all possible, even i asked them to send the details but they refused it, i hope they miss used my internet, plz help me

            First of all, The Hathway it self a thief. They are bluffing customers by counting the bandwidth usage x25 times. It seems better to have a 3G mobile package of 1 GB better that the 25 GB package of thi ISP. Hathway is worthless n/w. Don't go for this provider. Be careful.

              I am using Hathway Prepaid internet service. Worst service I ever seen. As per the plan the download limit is 4GB and we can ckeck our service usages (download limit) in their site using our credentails. The service usage details shown in their web site are INCORRECT. It shows 46 MB for the 4MB file I downloaded. I went to my hometown during one of the weekend in Feb 2008 and I didn't use their service during that weekend but service usage detail in their site shows that I have downloaded 87MB on sat and 121MB on sunday. I approached their customer care but no use...till today I am sending emails to them to correct the service usage deatils...but no response.
              Please DO NOT use HATHWAY internet service.

              Even I have the same problem. My plan was nite unlimited from 12am to 7 am. One day I did not use it for the whole day as I was busy, I started using it after 12 as it was unlimited after 12. I downloaded some songs and games actually the usage shud be 0 coz I used it after 12 but in my usage details it was 60 MB :( .I called up the customer care they are hopless ppl.. They said that u might have used it otherwise y will it be 60MB? If I used it and if it shows 60MB y will i call them??

                We had availed for Hathway broadband service from April of 2007.

                To be very frank till date we are not satisfied with your service.

                When, our account expired in October, we were asked to pay the renewal, which we did after that due to some external cable problem, we did not get any connections for 45 days and after that we had some problem with our machine and hence the entire 3 months period we never used the broadband connection.

                When we got a call from your people to renew our connection in January 2008, we told them that we have not used the connection in the last 3 months and hence requested to renew our connection, with our payment paid in Oct 2007, but they informed us that it was not possible to do that, but asked us to renew the connection and as per practice informed us that the old balance will be credited to our account when we renew our connection.

                Since, the last complaimnt was that our machine was not working properly, we had requested your people to check the machine and cerify it before we renew the connection, which they did and in January we renewed the connection. As usual we had a few problem once the connection was renewed, but within a week we had the problems rectified and we were using the connection to our satisfaction for once.

                Suddenly on March 17th we lost the connection and when we complained again, we were SHOCKED to hear that, we had used up all the GB alloted to us, we were very suprised, since we had not done much download, but only browsed and sent emails, on further complains, we came to understand through one Mr. Rajan & Mr. Senthil, that the old balance was never carried over on renewal because we had not renewed on time and hence we were give a new connection (but with the old Customer ID) suprise suprise :-))))

                This is ridiculous, we had renewed the same a few days later because, we had asked your people to check our machine and certify before renewing.

                Hathway broad band services — BROADBAND NOT WORKING

                Hathway collects money in advance as prepaid plan.The scheme I have opted is for 2 months and there is provison of carriying forward the balance units of previous billing cycle.For the last 3 months I am facing difficulty in terms of availablity of service.I have been trying to reach their customer care nos for the past 5 days.My broad band is not working for the past 5 days.The cal always go thru the AVRS and The call is never picked up by the executive.About 10 mts back ( 16.00) hrs the cal was attended by an executive and I am being informed that the service is not available in my area with immedieate effect.The service cannot be disconnected withour prior intimation.I feel this is deficiency in service.Please intimate me reg the concerned people whom to be contacted for redressal of my grevience.

                  Frustrating Company to work with - no customer service, all their customer service know is to tell "we will get back in half hour" and they just do not get back - Horrible Horrible Horrible .
                  My connection was taken on Jan 15th and it hardly worked for 2 weeks, last 3 weeks it has been down and I have made more than Rs.1000/= worth calls to them with no response /action to make it work. Very prompt in collecting the cheque in advance for 3 months

                  Same problem over with me
                  "HATHWAY" I faced the same and continue to do the same due to lack of options. I opted for 512kbps blast (11PM-9AM Unlimited) and what I got is less than 128kbps. There's no connectivity for half of the day everyday and if I download anything after 9PM the speed is about 4-12kbps!!! It works normal during day(hmmm), I have called their so called useless customer support at least 3-5 times and nothing happens each time. I just renewed my connection on 8th march and it works only today i.e. 11th march 2008. A friend of mine just told me abt BSNL in my area which I went straight and applied. All I can say about Hathway is "DON'T EVER GO FOR IT UNLESS U DONT HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS", let me put an advisory here "BEWARE IF YOU HAVE HEART COMPLICATIONS' they will surely give you a heart attack with their superior customer service. I cant even access citibank anytime in the night...it takes about 3 minutes to open msn...forget about other sites...its pathetic.My new package will last till June and am not gonna call them anymore if I have anymore problem but I will go straight to consumer court to settle anything. THE SAD PART OF THIS COMPANY'S THAT ITS DIRECTOR "Mr. Rajan Raheja" happens to be the part of the OUTLOOK GROUP owner or founder.
                  Ever since i started with Hathway, their connectivity is down. I wonder if that is only option been given to thier customer service dept. NO speed at all!! you open any page, can make yourself tea after that maybe it may open (if its your lucky day). ask their customer service and they would response saying that our server is down, you trick them in dates they would promptly reply that yes yes its since hat day the server is down...there should be some way to stop this open and legal fraud. They have no seniors in there entire Customer service division. Stop/close the company in Broadband, that's it!!
                  from march 30 onwards my internet connection of hathway is giving so less downloading speed may be in some few bytes/sec
                  its so frustrating to surf web with such a speed i called their customer support center but still no improvement

                  I strongly agree that most of the customer of hathway do not come back to them, the most HORRIBLE experience you can ever have with a internet service provider, I had a prepaid 6 months connection and i was using that mostly on the weekend and it never worked, The customer service is pathetic, The owner is cheating all customer of their money, I had BSNL before I took hathway thinking that since it is private operator it would be better believe me it is WORSE that bsnl. I have since switched to Airtel, I get a very good service,
                  I faced the similar "WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN HALF AN HOUR" - I took a prepaid connection but it is more than 50 days nobody has turned up. I searched on the internet and came to know that Hathway belongs to Raheja group - I guess the same Raheja known for quality constructions. I wish they didn't diversify into unknown territories. To put it in one sentence "HATHWAY SUCKS" "HATHWAY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BIGGER"
                  I totally agree.the connection goes down every evening.it takes bloody connection goes down ...we moved from 8 to 8 to 24x7 and facing this issue now ever since
                  I totally agree with each of the complaints posted here...
                  I have never really experienced a broadband connection as mediocre as Hathway... There seems to be absolutely no response from the customer care, there is no connectivity at all... and when the internet seems to work, it doesn't last for more than 10 minutes. Seriously, something needs to be done regarding these frauds...
                  May be we should all just take our cases to the customer court...

                  Hathway Internet Provider — No service for a 4 days and no response

                  Sir,
                  I am got Hathway internet connection on 5/11/2008, and i could not get it from 17/11/2008. I raised the complaint on that day only and even call the customer service twice a day to remind them and even now i am not getting the service. I hope this not the manner a consumer should be treated i am frustrated and decided to go to consumer forum. Other thing i am paying 450 rs /month to them and until now i spent 150 for my pone bill and funny thing is that they don't even have a toll free number. please do help me

                  I had recently taken Hathway Broadband connection. For the past couple of days the access is denied. I am a resident of Kalyan. I have tried to contact Hathway's Kalyan Office over phone, but no success.

                  hathway suckz i have taken 1124 speed conection and i m getting transfer rate as 3 to 15 i m fed up of hathway i hv complain lots of time in helplinf their response is as there r lots of traffic in sum sites download frm apple . com u will get nice speed hathways is only for www.apple.com
                  We are having 1mbps broadband connection but the speed is very low. After complaining to the customer care they say that they will rectify but till date it is not rectified. They came in person after calling three or four times but the problem still persists.
                  Hathway service provider in nasik city provides worst service, I have buy a pack of 4 months w.r.t 256kbps, but in till date i have face so much problem with that, in 4 months my internet is switch off for 3 months, i have logged a hundred of complaint regrading to this, every time they respond to the complaint after 3-4 days, when they restart my internet service then after 6-8 hours service again stop, i have complaint about this problem hundred's of time, but didn't pay attention about this complaint.

                  I not only lose my money for internet connection by hathway, but also by calling them, my bill for this 4 months is goes upto 1000 rs, my connection is ended in july 2009, after that i will through this connection out of my house, i am advice people not to take internet connection from hathway.
                  I am not receiving any usage details, which i requested to hathway call centre in Pune. Its very odd to see, that blindly i am receiving mails mentioning that my 85% usage is complete, but i should also have the idea about my usage.

                  i agree to you. this is the hight of shameless ness. if you call there customer care they will say you to restart pc and then again plug in and all crap things in the end nothing happens and they will say our database has registerd your complain and our engineer will come to you within 24 working hrs ???? bla bla bla...they are worst ...i have applied for bsnl ..hope they will be good ...

Road, Mulund (West) Mumbai - 400 080 - I wish to bring to your kind information that from the month of January, 2010 my internet connection is not working properly and this has been brought to your notice by complaining umpteen times but there is no concrete action taken from your side. I would like to know when this connection will be rectified and if it is not possible, kindly revert so that I can go to the media and publish the wonderful service provider HATHWAY is.

                  What they say is correct. Hathway is the best interNET provider in the world. Only the difference is that we are not able to connect whenever we want to. Because we would have given the money before hand, for prepaid connection, our money goes missing. Hathway is heaven on earth for the user. Only the difference is that users have to struggle to get connected. LONG LIVE HATHWAY.

                  It's better don't go for HATHWAY INTERNET SERVICE. Charged Rs. 1650 for 512 kbps and they told its unlimited for first 3 months and waived off installation charges of Rs. 500.

                  For the 1st week it went on complaining about the download speed which I got hardly 50 kbps for 512 speed.
                  After a week I'e recieved a msg saying u've reached this months download limit which is of 10gb, now we r reducing ur speed to 256 kbps.

                  This company is looting the people in broad day light. I have tht worst experience with this company. My internet bills soar upto Rs 2000 p.m. without any proper speed and I have switched over to Tata Indicom only for Rs 900 p.m with much better speed. But still Hathway are sending their bills every month even after my repeated mails to them to close my conection.
                  This is so true.Prompt in sending reminders for payment.their billing is absolutely ridiculous.I was billed 533 mb for dwnldng 3 videos of about 5 to 10 minutes each.I wonder what would happen if I were to watch a full movie.The day the payment was made connectivity becomes slow or nil.

                  My A/C No.699595 with Hathway broadband internet connection. The speed of the postpaid connection was drastically reduced in June 2011 itself on the plea that the 100% usage exceeded (under the presumption of M/s Hathway, perhaps - as if the user would not pay if the same speed is maintained). This postpaid was concerted into 'unlimited prepaid' in order not to exceed the higher payment limit and the advance quarterly payment was taken for the prepaid connection. But, to my utter surprise, the situation has turned from bad to worse, as the 'so-called hathway broadband internet connection' speed is @ 5.6 kbps/sec. Instead, the dial-up could have been much better.
                  I agree with above complaints.I got recent experience 2011.
                  I hate hathway. There customer care support does not works and keeps on hold every time.
                  Please do not go for hathway.
                  Most of these comments are pre-2011 and most are in fact two or three years old. It is then a surprise that Hathway has made no effort to change themselves. Their technical support is dreadful in Pune. I wrote to their CE Mr Jayaraman a few months ago when every day they used to be closed for about 8 hours. They improved a little but this man Jayaraman seems to live in the stone age of consumerism and did not bother to acknowledge. I have paid for a full year but Hathway seem to take perverse pleasure by giving service only for about 9 or 10 months.

From past 2 weeks I’m fed up with these people and continuously every day net connection was disconnected so many times. Immediately call back to customer care then respective area executive will come and resolve it otherwise automatically it will connected. I didn’t understand what’s wrong. Even today also net was disconnected so many times. Since morning I called 6 times to customer care to resolve the issue. I have an option to work from home and from past 2 weeks I’m facing these problem and my salary also deducted because of this internet issue.

                  I request to resolve this issue ASAP.

                    I was having hathway internet connection and as the srvice is not good I asked them to disconnect the connection and I even returned the modem provided by them on 5th October 07. So far they have not returned the deposlit amount of Rs.1000/- I brought tyhis to their notice several times and and I even sent letters to editor to Times of India and they have published twice but no response. My account No. 150079 and it is provided by Hathway Hyderabad centre. We do not get any reply and their customer service is so bad that when we telephone only frontline desk staff only reply and no superiors will respond and when we ask them to connect to the higher ups they inform us that they will be informed.It is almost 5 months.

                      Hathway Customer Service Sucks !!!!

                      Hi This is to inform you'll that that Hathway is the worst Company in the world when it comes to Customer Service - I doudt the company or the company staff even knows the meaning of the Word Service - yes but they sure know how to play fraud with their Customers

                      ******* I will paste the email sent by me to Hathway a week back which will itself explain the reasons why i am so upset with Hathway and the worst they even are not bothered to reply back to this email****

                      Referring to the above mentioned subject, please note that my A/C # 201890 was due to expire on 1st Feb 2008, following the same I had called in at your call center telephone # 67134500 on 28th January to inform you’ll about my desire to renew my account with you’ll.



                      I had my call answered by a lady named Reshma, she said that she would schedule a pickup for 29th Jan, and an executive from your company would come and collect the cheque from my residence – I also enquired about the balance usage left in my account (about 1500), to which I was told that if I renew my account before my a/c’s expiration date I will get the balance usage carry forwarded to my account.



                      Inspite of my repeatedly calling you’ll on 30th and 31st Jan – no one from your office turned down to my house to collect the renewal payment and the worst part my account crossed the expiry date.



                      I had to suffer the pain of leaving my house and going to a cyber café for my early morning office work that takes place through internet – I had no choice left but to call the technical Dept head of your Mira road office HARSHIT ( Harshit is the person whom I have been dealing from last 3 years with no wrong commitments till date).



                      To my surprise he informed me that the balance usage of the account never gets carry forwarded – Harshit asked me to get it verified by the account Dept of Mira Road office – I spoke to SUHAS in your Mira road office A/c Dept – and he also said the same thing that the balance usage never gets carry forwarded – I told them that I was informed that the usage will get carry forwarded from your andheri call center but as human behavior no one believed me.



                      Yesterday 5th FEB I made a call to your call center of andheri again and got the same call conferenced with Harshit from your Mira Road office and asked the same question to the girl answering my call and she said the opposite thing that THE USUAGE GETS CARRYFORWARDED IF THE ACCOUNT WAS RENEWED BEFORE EXPIRATION – HARSHIT AND I BOTH ATTEMPTED TO ASK THE GIRL HER NAME BUT TO OUR SURPRISE SHE HUNGED UP THE CALL ON US.



                      FEW QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE THE CEO / CUSTOMER SERVICE HEAD OF HATHWAY ANSWERE FOR ME:



                      WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HATHWAY OFFERS, WHEN THEIR ONE BRANCH SAYS ONE THING AND HEAD OFFICE SAYS OTHER????
                      IS IT NOT HATHWAYS STAFF RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THEIR IDENTITY WHEN SPEAKING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS??

                      i damn agree with you ...they are #1 cheaters...the speed they provide sucks and i dont even wont to mention anything about the service...i call them ...wait for them on their ive, listening music...after 5 minutes..they pick phone and drops it..they dont even talk...i wont talk much about this coz i am pissed off..and i will make sure i reach some senior in hathway and complaint this.
                      I totally agree with you. I have similar problems with this company. My account was due for renewal on 28/3/2008. To avoid last minute payment, i made a payment on 13/03/2008. To my surprise, I see that the expiry date (for the six month package) is 13/09/2008, which should be actually 28/09/2008. Also, the carried forward balance is not reflected yet. I call them on 67134500 and they tell me that someone Mr. Nilesh will give me a call, but he never does. I was told to email on kandivali.[protected]@hathway.net, to which there was no reply. These guys are really pathetic, they even have the guts to tell me to mail again on that id. The customer care representatives give me an assurance that Mr. Nilesh will call me, I think he is too busy, maybe he is the CEO of Hathway. They make promises, but don't stick to the commitments.

                      Really pathetic, with the coming of Airtel broadband and other service providers, I wonder who would continue with such companies.
                      I completely agreee..! Its a useless service provider..! I had no connectivity for a month..they couldnt resolve my issue..! I asked for an extension of subscription to which they never replied! Now that my account has expired they are not even coming to collect their modem and refund Rs.1000! I wish we could complain to consumer court..!

                      I am using Hathway broadband for over 1 year now (Kandivali, Mumbai). It's not that bad. The main problem is the renewal process (which is done manually) and the GB consumption stats (all forged false data).

                      The renewal is a total mess. Your cheque rotates between several offices to the bank while you sit cluless why the renewal is not done. Specific problems arise if you make a change of your plan. It usually takes 5 days to renew!

                      They tell you your GBs are over when you may not have consumed even 60%. I have been using broadband for over 5 years now and have a very specific and set 'browsing pattern'. I have a clear idea how much I use per month. I always found their GB consumption data to be totaly flase. The stats vary day to day if you'd keep an eye on it for a while (GB figures of specific days change automatically).

                      But then - it's very cheap and the connection is good. They have this night unlimited feature that's very handy (with P2P SWs perfectly working).

                      I am from chennai.I am using 512 blast and the problem occurs mostly during night time and during the day hours it goes fine but during day hours its limited as per my plan.when I call the customer support during night they will reply by calling me back during the day time and confirms that the connection works.Again the same problem occurs and the next night again i call and they again say the technicians will be available after 9:00 in morning and again the problem get corrected.The biggest mistake I ever did in my life is get connected to hathway net.Each and every day in my months call record there will be a call dialed to hathway every day.
                      I just signed up with them today after experiencing a miserable service with VSNL - Tataindicom Broadband.

                      I signed up on a no installation & deposit fees scheme for 1 month and paid Rs. 450 to try out their service for a month so that I can take a call on them.

                      My question to the users here is -
                      1. Are the problems that you guys have been listing here stil persistant?

                      2. I chose for a 128 KBPS Plan, do they provide full 128KBPS speed? If less, what does the average speed in consistant with the 128KBPS?

                      even the modem security was never refunded.
                      Hathway customer service is very poor. I was fed up with their poor internet speed, so I discontinued their services. However, they have not paid back my security deposit for the modem, nor have they come to collect the modem.

                      I have been facing connectivity problems for the past 1 month. Even after repeated complaints registered with the Hathway customer support no step have been taken. I have not seen a hathway service person showing up to check the connections and ensuring permanent connnectivity. I have registered more the 10 complaints in this month. There were many instances when the customer support line got cut after waiting in the queue for long time; else the number of complaints registered would have been many more than 10. I deeply regret for having taken connection with Hathway, a poor connectivity provider and a worst tread setter of customer care.

                      Hathway is the worst company to deal with for any kind of services... all the people give you fake promises just to get that sale. I had got a prepaid connection for 6months had handed him a chq for the entire amount on April26th where the sales guy promised me of doing the connection the second day. Till date i have not got my connection done. And when i call him he would not answer the phone. I am very pissed of with their customer service people too as they do not have any response for it. I spoke to the boss (sarang) of the sales guy(Nadeem) i met even he assured of doing it in 2days..and even he followed the same Hathway tradition of not keeping up to their words.

                      All the Channels we watch are never tuned properly.. we dont recieve clarity on any chhanels... within every 5 mins the channels stops in between and is not clear.. this is really irritating.. can u plz help us with it?
                      Hathway is worse internet service provider ever. im a foreigner and I've been using their service since last year. i pay for50 Mbps but i get 4 Mbps . if i call customer care they says we will fix it soon but they never have done.

But the set top box does not work and I have been paying monthly rs. 300 out of which for 20 days the set top box does not work. I have complained about this issue to the cable operator in Mira Road but I always got a temporary solution. This happened about 6 to 7 times. This problem first arised in Oct'16 where I called the cable operator and informed about the box not working. I only got a solution after 15 days after I personally visited the office at Sec 10. Mira Road. After much argument I was given a temporary box available with the cable operator which was in bad shape. When i say bad shape it means the remote and the box both were broken. I still agreed to use the temp box as I was inforned that the old box will be replaced with a new one and they are already in conversation with Hathway for the same. I used this temp box for 3 months and again it just stopped working. Every time it stopped working i haf yi go to the office for conolain as no service was provided over the phone. I followed up for new set top box and then in May i was informed that it will not be replaced with a new one but will be repaired. I was upset and furious. After numerous complaints again I was given a temp box which has again stopped working. The set top box has not been working for 20 days now. I am fed up of complaining as this just is not helping.
                      I don't think I deserve this kind of service after making an monthly advance payment. Not sure who is responsible for sorting this out..but my suggestion to everyone is plzzzzz plzz plzzzzz do not pick hatway if you are in need of a new connection.

                      I will take legal action against both Hathway and Satellite Cable operator Mira Road
                      Hathway chennai team does not know the meaning of customer service . Fraud company. Just for using 5 days they charged me 942 rupees and simply cancelled the service and when I asked for reason they said they will correct the bill and resume the service immediately and its almost now 3 days I didnt get any connection back. Their website is the worst all pages will load for more than 15 to 20 minutes.

                      For all billing issue no customer executive will talk to us and it all we have to send in email and they never reply back ... .please dont go for hathway they will talk very nicely until we give the money after that they will not pick the call .cheating fellows

                        The services of Hathway has detoriated to such an extent that all our friends and the Flat owners in Solanki gulmohar are planning to shift to other cable providers. Due to a problem in Hathway cable router box, many of my friends in Solanki had their TV's burnt due to high voltage current from the cable point into the TV. The whole TV mother Board was burnt in four of friends TV at the same time.

                        Even now when the South Africa match, the TV channel is not coming. I called the person in your helpline office, it was a rude experience where the person told me that it will take 30 mins to 35 hours to rectify the cable problem.

                        We all are planning to shift to other cable providers. There are 120 flat owners in solanki gulmohar and we are all planning to change. We also do not have Surya TV that is accessible which has good Malayalam programs that was also being given as a cable channel.

                        If you wish and aim for extending the service coverage and customer satisfaction from customers like us then kindly do the needful and improve your services. Otherwise this is the last time we will make efforts to write to you.

                        I would appreciate if someone can send this mail of mine to some General manager or head of operations in Hyderabad.

                          Hathway Sucks again today 31Jan2008...

                          I was keep calling Customer care from 11:15 and I got connected at 11:45.
                          When I spoke to ALI customer rep. He told me that is displays I am connected.... This is the responce I get every day. and it is the third time I am speaking to Ali and he got habituated to say the same thing again and again......that is...."Singal strength is good and it displays you are connected to internet".
                          When I asked him to handover the call to senior member, he says from 11pm-7am shift no Inchare is available..... this indicates how big is the hathway providers and how good they can serve.

                          Please let us know this bad service to your friends and forward it to your yahoo & gmail buddy list so that we can save our friends.

                            The above number is the only life-line for a customer to get in touch with hathway. They have stopped their service to me since 12th Jan 2008. Inspite of paying in advance. My customer code is 168768. They have not sent a sales executive to collect the renewal amount.
                            THE WORST PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT GET THRU THE ONLY CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER - [protected], NO MATTER WHATEVER TIME OF THE DAY.

                            I stay at kukatpally, Hyderabad and I am also the once in suffered from hathway. I have taken unlimited of 450 plan, they have promised me the speed of 256 kbps. I not even getting speed of 20 kbps.

                              I am a Hathway TV cable set-top box customer (Card No.[protected]. I had purchased the Hathway set top box by paying Rs. 2500 from the Hathway, Begumpet office in Aug 2006. I had purchased it through one of their employees who collected the cash and delivered/tuned in the set top box. We were not even asked to fill a form with address on delivery of the set top box and were not give a receipt on being asked repeatedly. He kept on postponing for the same and over a point of time even we forgot..
                              We had been using the box for the last 1 year and then The Hathway cable have disconnected the cable in the month of Jun 2007 without notifying me. On enquiry, Begumpet Office staff told me that they have not received the amount and asked me to pay another Rs. 2000 for activating the existing card. The other option suggested by him is to buy a new set top box for Rs. 1200 with a validity of 1 year and replacing it every year for Rs. 600 from the next year onwards. The worst part is that their employee had entered our entry in the register with a different address and amount collected as Rs. 500. Since I have already lost Rs. 2500 by paying to the Hathway cable, I have lost faith in Hathway cable TV and I do not want to be cheated again as I can very well go for Tata Sky or any other reliable DTH provider rather than going for Hathway. I understand that there are many cheated Hathway customers like me in Begumpet and this has been admitted openly by them.

                              When I have already paid the amount for activation of set-top box by paying Rs. 2500, why am I asked to go in for a new set top box or pay additional amount for the sudden deactivation and re activation that too when the amount has been paid fully in cash. Where is my fault in this whole episode? Just because the employee had run away, the receipt not given and because of their poor record keeping, more customers would fall in their trap.
                              Request the concerned authorities to enquire this incident and take corrective action.

                              I reside in a locality between Mehdipatnam and Toli Chowki at Hyderabad.
                              I purchased Hathway STB from their local office/salesoutlet at Hyderguda in Hyderabad on 25th November 2008 and feel that I am cheated. The damn thing does not work. I visited their office/sales outlet for help thrice as there was no proper responce on telephone. At their office/sales outlet a technician Mr Ramna inspected my STB and told me that there is nothing wrong with the gadgt and insisted that my cable provider is at fault for suplying me with weak and bad quality signals. Today also I met one Mr Siddarth, a responsible man from Hathway. He too told me that same thing the fault lies with the signals.
                              I may add here that STB works very well when the signal quality and strenght is good as is seen in their sales office when they check the STB there.
                              I suggest the buyers of Hathway STB to first get the Signal Quality and Signal Strength checked by a qualified technician from Hathway then buy Hathway STB or else they are in for trouble.

                                Hathway's STB is not updating the channels even they provide those thru direct cable.
                                All employees are sleeping, they dont even have a customer care number . Stupid and careless service in Hyderabad.

                                  The cable TV (setup box) is not receiving signals for more than last 2 weeks. After hundereds of call to customer care, 1 technican ( Named Jagan) has finally appeared , but has disapperared with my setup Box.
                                  Now when calling at customer care, various support people keep lying and dilly dallying the matter of installing the setup box again.

                                  Please note that I have paid 6 months rent in advance and want the refundable amount , if not the setup box.

I have been giving calls to the Hathway Person (Kiran) bangalore, Tinfactory Address, to come & make a cable connection to my newly shifted home, but he is been dodging me since last 1 week now.

                                  I Feel as if i am his customer.

                                  If this is the case now, then what will it be after i take the connection from him.

                                  Hell, I am arvind Jha from Borivali, Mumbai. I agree that many channels are blocked by the cable provider without any reasons and their representatives lie blatantly.
                                  Hataway working on monopoly, we should just start disconecting cables there sub dealers are very rude people, that will surely make them realise that they cant make consumer suffer always.
                                  Have a Hathway Cable Connection. The cable does not work and there is no reply from the Local service provider. Their offices at Bangalore say there are not connected and to contact the Local service provider. At the time of giving connection, they talk of big and when the problem comes, no body comes into the picture. The SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND VERY BAD.

                                  I requested set up box when I have shifted my home, After 100 times follow up I got the set up box which was dead (not working) for a 3 weeks. once it started to work, able to see only few channels.
                                  with poor signal. Now from last two month I am able to see only 2 news, 2 Marathi and 2 movies channels. I called thousand time to local service provider but he is not picking up the call.
                                  I am suggesting, please do not select HATHWAY as a cable service.

                                    Hathway Renewal system is very very Bad. Irresponsible guys. They took my money 10 days ago and till now did not bother to renew the my internet account.
                                    They dont bother to answer phone calls.
                                    This kind service is really really pathetic.

                                    Hathway will loose its brand name if some one higher authoritites dont take care of this...
                                    Higher authorities please act fast before you people loose your brand name.

                                      Hathway sucks !!!!

                                      Its one of the worst service provider on earth.

                                      The box has not been working for almost 3 months now. Contacted the concerned Hathway people. They assure me of immediate help. But they never did that.
                                      I am very dissapointed. Please help. I wish if someone could file complaint against this DIRTY organisation for there DIRTY job.

                                      Hathway — Refund and Redressal

                                      I had hired internet services of M/s Hathway Broadband Internet on Jan 16, 2007. The package was for six months with 3GB download capacity. During these six months the service was never reliable. It had lot of interruptions and the service practically came to halt in the month of April 2007. Due to these problems we were unable to utilize even 50% of the download capacity offered by the package, apart from the agony
                                      caused by the inturrupted services.

                                      Despite being aware of the problems faced by us, Hathway sent a
                                      reminder for renewal of the package, for the service that was
                                      practically non-functional since April 2007.

                                      After prolonged communication, Hathway confessed that they are unable to provide these services in our locality. They even agreed
                                      to refund all the money that was paid by us for this package.

                                      As I was out of India, I had told Hathway not to take away their equipment (Modem) till I return to Mumbai. Based on my experience with them, I had told them to take the Modem only after sending the refund cheque. However, their technicians visited our house in my absence and took away the modem by misleading my 80 year old mother. After taking the situation in their control Hathway is ignoring my requests for the refund as agreed earlier.

                                      So far, I have written 40 emails to Hathway on this issue which should have been resolved long ago.

                                      Hathway Cable & Datacom Pvt Ltd — Delay of service

                                      My internet connection from Hathway expired on 11-December-2007 and I paid the renewal amount by cash on 12-December-2007 by cash to the customer representative of Hathway. The connection was supposed to be active from the same day night. But it was not.

                                      I made a call(usually reaching them is tough, you will have to make atleast minimun 30 tries) to customer support next day and found the connection was not renewed. They promised to renew the connection same day mid night 12:00 PM...But it never happend :-(

                                      I had to make repeated calls and came to know their internet renewal application was going upgradation and my renewal will happen only the next day...

                                      From then on till day(24-December-2007), I have been making repeated calls to the customer care department and the hathway renewal department. I am getting the same answer.

                                      Once I did speak to the renewal manager also, he also gave me the same response and till now nothing has turned up.

                                      I also asked them a couple of times to refund my renewal money so I can take up some other service provider, for that the manager on the renewal department says "Every service provider has the same issue..." and he never was agreeing to refund my money also. I have seen people defending their own services but I have never heard a manager speaking so ir-responsible.

                                      Apart from this the basic difficulties,
                                      * You cannot reach the customer care centre so easily, you will have to make a minimum of atleast 30 tries before you talk to a person on the other end. They say they have a 24*7 customer service, but after 10:00 PM and on weekends no one is there to attend your calls. Also, when there is an global issue like the renewal issue I am facing, no one picks up the phone...Even the representative who collected the renewal money from me, his mobile is switched of till now.
                                      * The person on the customer support end is not so good in technical aspects of networking or neither he/she knows how to deal with customers. They just say they will look into the issue and get back, they will never in life time get back to you.
                                      * For any issue, no time lines are certain. If you ask for a word, they won't be in a position to give it.
                                      * As long as the system and devices work, you are in safer side. Once there is an problem, you are gone for a toss. No one, not a human cares for you.
                                      * You will not be given any grace period for your renewals. Not even a single minute.

                                      So its my humble request for those who are planning to take up Hathway, please think more than thrice...take up a service level agreement signed by the hathway folks so later it would be useful.

                                      In other words, I would say, Please refrain from going to internet via Hathway....Please don't fall in a mess like myself.

                                      Now finally, I have sent them an email and if they are not responding I am planning to go and speak to them in person in their Alwarpet office.

                                      For taking service from Hathway I had to lose the following,
                                      * My internet service - I was not able to do any of my work till now. The loss is huge.
                                      * The money for all the call costs, atleast more than 75 calls to customer care and renewal department.
                                      * Energy...good will and atlast finally going to waste my fuel and time behind these guys !!!

                                      Please think before going for it !!!

                                      After the delay of more than six months and prolonged communication with Hathway, I have finally received the refund cheque Jan 04, 2008.

                                      In this case I would say that "Justice was delayed but not denied".
                                      I purchased a Laptop of Acer Aspiron Model no.5052. I had not used the Bluetooth on that for last 4 months since i purchased. One day I needed it. It did not work. I uninstall & reinstall the OS that there may be a skip of OS. When I complaint this issue to Acer. They said that this product does not have the Bluetooh where at Nehru Place Acer showroom salesman told it has it just to sell it out. Even button of bluetooth is there on the Laptop. They are saying "It may be the button but bluetooh is not there". It is an open cheat to customer. I am feeling cut off my hands. What should I do?

                                      Hathway's STB is not updating the channels they provide thru direct cable.
                                      All employees are sleeping, they dont even have a customer care number . Stupid and careless service in Hyderabad.

But , it is not happening.They told me night download is free, But it is not at all coming to download the softwares , min speed is 0.1 kbsp and maximum is 17kpbs ,in this way fluctuates

                                      Hathway — cheque encashed without providing broadband services

                                      Hello,
                                      I had got in touch with a Mr.Prashant Sorte from Hathway in Andheri (west) area to install broadband services at my place in 4 Bungalows,Andheri (west).
                                      There was a lot of delay in installation so I cancelled my requirement for connection and demanded return of my cheque.
                                      Prashant Sorte promised to return the cheques (two cheques worth Rs.618 each) within two working days.
                                      In the meantime the cheques had been encashed about which Prashant Sorte had no idea at all.
                                      On enquiry,Prashant was bold enough to putthe whole blame on me,speaking in very abusive language.
                                      Prashant has become totally untraceable,he does not receive my calls and there is absolutely no intimation from their side on return of my money.
                                      The amout owed to me might not be a huge figure but still nobody has ant right to cheat a person of his/her hard-earned money.
                                      I am clueless as to whether I will get my money back or not....

                                      When I called head office for their land branch office address they were not certain and confirmed the same. with a great difficuilty I found the branch office address.
                                      I totally agree with Teja, the same thing is happening to me for last 12 days, I am calling their customer support everyday. I paid for 3 months (Rs 1685/- ) and within 3 weeks account got deactivated... I am asking the reason for the deactivation, they are not able to answer saying they will arrange a call from technical department!. In these 12 days at least 30 calls I made, they never called me back!!! Really pathetic service!                                       Hathway Braodband Connection, Chennai, Alwarpet — Non refund of Bill Payment Amount

                                      I have applied for HathWay Braod Band COnnection.One of the Team Lead came from HathWay and I gave him a cheque dated 20/1/08 since i Have insufficient amounts i said the hath way representative, he told to write at the back of cheque "Plz deposit on 2/2/08" and i did it.But those people deposited my cheque on " 24/2/08"So i got fine of 400rs ...wen i went to ask them dey dint respond anything...and dey told my money ll be refunded ..but not yet........

                                      I live in kothrud pune and i have 512 kbps boardband connection and my download speed is between 5 kbps to max 14.6 kbps which is quite good for a dail up connection and not for the boardband connection.

                                      from last two days i had phoned to your customer care, and the same reply i got is they are going to send an engineer tommorow.

                                      iam really thinking of not renewing, if this type of the download speed with 512kbps .

                                      I had hathway cable connection for 3 years with set of box.A deposit of Rs 1000/- was collected from me w/o any receipt for the set of box.Since I have now installed Tatasky, I surrendered the set box during Feb 2008 to my dealer and till today I have not received the refund amount.Since there is no paper transactions I am not able to give you any references.With my name and e-mail ID you can check at your end the current status on my refund, The service and customer care by your agents in Chennai is very poor

Recently we are facing many problems like apart from our set of box there are some free to air channels mainly we concern about TV 9 (Telugu Channel which is very popular in Telugu News covrering channgel) are not broadcosting. If we ask hathway they says it is not their baby and ask to local cable operators. If we ask they say it is with the hathway issue we can not rectify it. What really we want to request you that by spending this much money on TV pay channels if we will pay another small amount for this channel it wont be any borden to us. I think you will take care and feed this channel in to the setoff box so that we in Delhi around 40, 000 families will enjoy and keep update the news of our Andhra Pradesh. Everytime they say that they ll give it the next day but never turned back .when i spoke to a hathway person last he gave lame reason that they had only 1 service engg and he too is fallen sick, this is worse then a response from a kindergarten kid and he was asking me to pay for another box and buy it worse way to treat a customer. i wanted to contact the higher official but never got any mail address in their site i dont knoe where customers would raise there complaint when you cant contact them.this is a worse service in both, the product service and customer care .

                                      Hathway — VERY SLOW SPEED AND POOR CONSUMER SERVICE

                                      I had taken Hathway broadband service recently by paying Rs. 450/- for 128kpbs speed and unlimited download, but the speed is far less than 128kbps and when i download any file the speed is less than 10kbps and when I use Download accelerator the speed is around 12-15kbps.Even after complaining to the customer service again and again no action has been taken.I am sick of this service but since i ve paid Rs. 450 in advance(It's a prepaid service and I cant do anything but cry!) I ve to use it.It is for this reason I guess these people from Hathway are so careless about consumer complaints and service.I need a strict action to be taken against the company because this is not the first complaint against them, they have a very bad track record since the beginning.Please help me!

                                      I have paid for a 1MBPS 4 month line, instead hathway gave me 128 Kbps 1 month line, I need the 1 mbps line to check my official mails and act acc. But then 128 kbps is worthless, a word doc takes ages to download with a speed of 4kbps!!

                                      I have complained 5 times since Saturday ( 29th Nov), the hathway helpline[protected] ppl say they will process it through mumbai and get it done within 4 hrs. But no processing has taken place. I am still wondering why did i apply for hathway, ppl curse the company to be non helpful to customers .
                                      I have been duped into a wrong connection, i paid way more than what was required. I paid for a 1mbps line. Got nothing in return, when i talk to refund they say 1 month time for refund, when the sales person had to give connection he was begging for cash . Now 1 month to refund that cash . please suggest what to do ??

                                      from 15 days ineternet has connected but it was not working properly and i have made complaints but yet no response is there so i want my money refunded which i had paid otherwise i will complaint to the police station.

                                      Do not purchase Hathway's STB until you make sure that the "STRENGH and QUALITY" of the signals recieved from your cable provider is adequate. Although we can watch TV without the help of STB fairly well, we can see nothing but broken and shaking images through STB if we dont have, what they call "STRONG and GOOD QUALITY" signals from the cable provider, whatever they might mean by it.
                                      I feel grossly cheated as when I put forth my grevience to Hathway people they say that it is your cable providers fault and when i talk to the cable provider he says that the fault lies with Hathway. Piller to post.
                                      If you are hell-bent on installing a Hathway STB, bring their mechanic along with the STB to your place and pay him only when you are fully satisfied by its performence.
                                      The next best alternative is DTH. Expensive but it works. Surely not frustrating as Hathway's STB.

                                      My self Sunny Tailor and my login id is sunny83.I am your customer since December 2008 and just 3 months back I have renewed my account with your company but from last 3 months the level of connectivity is below the acceptable level. There were 7 Complained logged in January, 3 in February and already 7 complain logged in the recent days of March. After complains to your respective helpdesk I am not getting the permanent solution of my problem so At last I have no other option except Quit my account with your company. So its needless to say there is no customer in this market who will scarifies his 10 pending months against 3 months of actual usage. My concern is only that Either you can provide me hassle free service or give me my remaining amount back without any additional deduction.Dont you think someone has to take appropiate action agains them and teach them appropiate lesson.The working staff of Hathway are so careless against handling customers' complains. Its needless to remind them company is liable to provide appropiate level of satisfaction agains the compensation charged by them well in advance.

                                      Not even a single sports channel is being transmitted in Hyderabad. They are giving start cricket illegaly in the event of T20 world cup. We are missing all the sporting action... Its monopoly in HYD, no other option for people.

                                      Hi,

                                      Please be very careful with Hathway executives. I've paid amount Rs.1000/- for hathway when the hathway executive told me that as per their process, customer have to pay the amount first and the connection will be given by the evening. No response from hathway for 2 days. After repetetive calls to executive, i got response that due to some problem, they are not able to give me the connection.

                                      they asked me to go to head office and submit my receipt and then i get my money back ( why should i go to their head office to get my money back??????? it was really irritating)... After having repetetive arguments with their staff for returning my money, i dont see any outcome. So, i had to visit the headoffice and submitted my receipt. It was 2 months back. Till now, I did not get my money back.. I really got irritated and frustrated about this process by hathway.

                                      I suggest - dont go for hathway connection.
                                      Damn bad responce from the customer care people my box has stopped working and da customer executive is not at all responcing for it...
                                      We are the users of Hathway cable since almost from the starting in Secunderabad, Andhrapradesh. Recently we are facing many problems like...every other day there is some sorta technical glitch...and worst part is the customer support people donot take calls or give lame excuses without solving the problem.
                                      But for monthly payment they come on time to collect.

                                      Dear Sir

                                      My name is Ankit Kapasi. I had taken a Hathway connection with a plan from which I was allowed to download data on net between 11:00PM and 9:00 AM. I was using this until some bills came to me in a value and charges for downloaded data. I checked with customer care and they said they will check and get back to me and they never did. I also wrote them several mails for this issue and by the time they get back to me there were already 1 or 2 bills in my in box.

                                      I tried to contact them again and they said it was mistake from their end and someone else bill was charged to me. But then they never agreed on this.
                                      After some other mails and tries they said they will get back to me and till now they've not solved this problem and every time i used to call them everyone had a different idea or opinion or answer completely different from the last one.
                                      I had communicated to someone who sent me an excel sheet with my downloaded date size which did not have time of data downloaded. I requested them to share that with me so I can have clear picture but they clearly refused.

                                      Currently they are after the payment which they do when ever they feel like once in a month or so.

                                      Pls advise how do i solve this or where should I file an official complain or lodge a case against Hathway reg this fraud and miscommunication and totally worst customer service.

                                      I can provide relevant data on request.

                                      I have taken a product i.e., Set Up Box which is not working correctly. when i went to the service center, the people over their are behaving irresponsible.

                                      This is the most worst service provider. we (the customers) dont know, why this company is yet selling their product inspite of maximum no. of customer dissatisfaction towards their product. No one takes responsibility, when any customer goes to the service center. The people over their are behaving irresponsible, then why the hell company is providing the products to fraud the people.

                                      If possible company should take some action or just stop releasing the products into the market.

                                      Hathway Digital Cable Set - Top Box — Set Top Box not functioning since Jan 16 2010

                                      I am having cable connection from Hathway Bhawani Cablenet & Datacom Ltd, 5th Floor, Sanjona Complex, Hemu Kalani Marg, Plot No 11-A, Sindhi Society, Chembur, Mumbai-400071 at my residence, 601, Sai Ram, 14th Road, Chembur, Mumbai-400071 and my enrollment No with them is[protected].

                                      I lodged a complaint with them Jan 16, 2010 that the Set top Box is not functioning. However till today they have solved my problem. Almost every day I make telephone calls to them. But I get an answer from them that They do not have the item in their stock and as and when they have in stock they will replace the faulty Set Top Box. On Monday, the 8th instant I called them to enquire, they informed that they have received the item and their Engineer will call and visit to replace the Box. We informed them that we would not at home next day since we had to Hospital for health check up. Next day when we returned from the hospital in the evening we found their Engineer's Call Report dropped inside our house with the remark "Door locked". We are unduly harassed by the Cable Service Provider for almost two months with no solution. We therefore seek your help in the matter.
                                      Purchased Hathway make Digital set top box with Warranty card serial No.:- 536698 on 11.03.2010. When i am trying to connect to my LCD TV it was found not working. Unable to understand the reason.

But he sold me cisco co.STB for Rs.1500/- + Rs.100/- for installation charges on 16.10.2009 stating that cisco STB is better than Humax. But from next day onwards it is not functioning properly.I have complained so many times but he is not responding whenever I call him he is switching off his mobile. He fooled as well as me and you by behaving such a manner being working in an established company.

For me Hathway is one of the best service, i haven't met with any problem with their service, Hathway STB is the best quality i just installed in my new home, picture and audio quality is very clear then any other cable STBs in its class, and coming to Broadband service, i haven t seen a disconnection like a an old BSNL broadband, Hathway broadband is a good cost saving broadband, please don give false information to pull down the hathway goodwill guys

                                      I don’t have words to say that your services have been working excellent with my computer and I have been a customer with you all for about 2 years or may be more then that. Your services are so accurate that even if I miss my payment by a day you will disconnect the services. I wish I could see the same efficiency with your customer services staff and the staff at the offices. I think staffs at the offices are paid for playing online game and face book and staff at the call center is so frustrated that they just want to vent out by continuously speaking and not listing what we have to say.

                                      Do you have any idea why a customer call to you call center because they don’t find solution over your website or at the office.

                                      I called in today for the same when I was in a misconception that my account is due for renewal, when I went to your Andheri w office the guy was so busy in his computer that could answer my query and asked to pay the bill online as you ate in 22nd century but still cant accept cards over the office.

                                      When I tried to do the same over the website I wasn’t able to register as I was a first time user. So I decided to call at your number [protected] at 2:05 IST 06/12/11 after a long hold of 8min I was disconnected I tried again this timer hold was just getting better and it was for 10:30sec and after that I got a lovely lady called Farheen qureshi with her bad day as she dint sound any polite to me. In fact she was also irritated with the background television noise which I turned off. She had to repeat herself at times at the same time she said that register it over the internet for god sake can some one tell that I am not able to do that and that’s why I am calling you all guys and she is their to help me I suppose.

                                      I wish you have recorded that call the energy was not even better then a snail while assisting me.
                                      I must say that you all have a vey loyal advisors because after such a bad services when I said that it a very bad services I have ever found she was a lioness and said that why do I think so. Can you all please make her read this that why do I think that. She had an explanation for everything in fact she was so prepared with the answers as if the question and the same complaints is coming from every other customer.

                                      I know that you all have long hold because of lots of call which means there are so many customer need advisors to help them and you should hire more staff.
                                      You can’t just wrap calls just because you have lots of call to answer I need a human staff which match my pace and not a machine. You all are not even a 24*7 support still having challenges in call handling.
