Service issue

Hathway your service sucks!!!

i posting this complaint again, i have posted this yesterday. still engineer has not visited my place yet. again i have given a call today to see the status again the call center give me the same answer that the person will be there by today itself.

this is ridiculas.

i pray and request to the other people please...don't buy this product...if they give you in...

Misuse of account

I have a pre-paid account with Hathway Broadband and using it for last three years. The service was satisfactory. In Feb 08, all of a sudden, my connection got disconnected. On enquiry I was informed I have exceeded the usage limit. On further enquiry I got the details o[censored]sage from them, to my surprise, it mentioned that I had used internet for more than 200 Mb of transfer of data on 6 days, which I never used. Interner service

I am using Hathway Prepaid internet service. Worst service I ever seen. As per the plan the download limit is 4GB and we can ckeck our service usages (download limit) in their site using our credentails. The service usage details shown in their web site are INCORRECT. It shows 46 MB for the 4MB file I downloaded. I went to my hometown during one of the weekend in Feb 2008 and I didn't use their service during that weekend but service...

Total Cheat

We had availed for Hathway broadband service from April of 2007.

To be very frank till date we are not satisfied with your service.

When, our account expired in October, we were asked to pay the renewal, which we did after that due to some external cable problem, we did not get any connections for 45 days and after that we had some problem with our machine and hence the entire 3 months period we never used...

Internet connection by Hathway

Frustrating Company to work with - no customer service, all their customer service know is to tell "we will get back in half hour" and they just do not get back - Horrible Horrible Horrible .
My connection was taken on Jan 15th and it hardly worked for 2 weeks, last 3 weeks it has been down and I have made more than Rs.1000/= worth calls to them with no response /action to make it work. Very prompt in collecting the cheque...

non refund of deposit

I was having hathway internet connection and as the srvice is not good I asked them to disconnect the connection and I even returned the modem provided by them on 5th October 07. So far they have not returned the deposlit amount of Rs.1000/- I brought tyhis to their notice several times and and I even sent letters to editor to Times of India and they have published twice but no response. My account No. 150079 and it is provided by Hathway...

Poor Customer Service

Hathway Customer Service Sucks !!!!

Hi This is to inform you'll that that Hathway is the worst Company in the world when it comes to Customer Service - I doudt the company or the company staff even knows the meaning of the Word Service - yes but they sure know how to play fraud with their Customers

Very Worst Service Provider

This is sheik from Chennai. I am HathWay Set Top Box Customer.


I am getting the lot issues after getting the HathWay Set Top Box Connection.

Your service is very poor in chennai. I am faced lot issues.

My settop box connection is disconnect in Friday moring 9.00 A.M. But still i am not getting the connection. Every weekend i am facing the same issues.

Internet poor service provider

Hathway Sucks again today 31Jan2008...

I was keep calling Customer care from 11:15 and I got connected at 11:45.
When I spoke to ALI customer rep. He told me that is displays I am connected.... This is the responce I get every day. and it is the third time I am speaking to Ali and he got habituated to say the same thing again and again......that is...."Singal strength is good and it displays you are connected...

CustomerCare 04066989898 unreachable under all circumstances

The above number is the only life-line for a customer to get in touch with hathway. They have stopped their service to me since 12th Jan 2008. Inspite of paying in advance. My customer code is 168768. They have not sent a sales executive to collect the renewal amount.
THE WORST PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT GET THRU THE ONLY CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER - [protected], NO MATTER WHATEVER TIME OF THE DAY.

Reactivation of my set top box

I am a Hathway TV cable set-top box customer (Card No.[protected]. I had purchased the Hathway set top box by paying Rs. 2500 from the Hathway, Begumpet office in Aug 2006. I had purchased it through one of their employees who collected the cash and delivered/tuned in the set top box. We were not even asked to fill a form with address on delivery of the set top box and were not give a receipt on being asked repeatedly. He kept on postponing...

Channels are not getting

Hathway's STB is not updating the channels even they provide those thru direct cable.
All employees are sleeping, they dont even have a customer care number . Stupid and careless service in Hyderabad.
They should be moved to trial....

Miserable and highy irresponsible customer care

Hi,

The cable TV (setup box) is not receiving signals for more than last 2 weeks. After hundereds of call to customer care, 1 technican ( Named Jagan) has finally appeared , but has disapperared with my setup Box.
Now when calling at customer care, various support people keep lying and dilly dallying the matter of installing the setup box again.

Please note that I have paid 6 months rent in advance and...

No Renewal

Hathway Renewal system is very very Bad. Irresponsible guys. They took my money 10 days ago and till now did not bother to renew the my internet account.
They dont bother to answer phone calls.
This kind service is really really pathetic.

Hathway will loose its brand name if some one higher authoritites dont take care of this...
Higher authorities please act fast before you people loose your brand name....

Set Top Box not working. No response from HATHWAY

Hathway sucks !!!!

Its one of the worst service provider on earth.

The box has not been working for almost 3 months now. Contacted the concerned Hathway people. They assure me of immediate help. But they never did that.
I am very dissapointed. Please help. I wish if someone could file complaint against this DIRTY organisation for there DIRTY job.

This is regarding my notion that hathway cable & datacom pvt. Ltd. is really a company and delivers quality service to its clients. But yes today i really understood that this company is no more than a bunch of mis-managed people who themselves don’t know what quality is and what is the meaning of customer service.
I am an Analyst in a reputed company and require net connection all the time.

wrongly selling the set top boxes

the hathway cable in nasik has delibratelly spoiled the quality of its cable reception so that users would opt for the set top boxes which gives a clear picture. but this is the wrong way of selling the box i had to buy that box for the cricket matches as the reception was not clear at all

please help the nasik cable users as all r now opting for set top boxes thinking that their wire is faulty

Non-Refund of Modem Deposit

Costomer ID:167194
I have subscribed to their cable internet in March 07 and paid the quartrly usage charges in adavnce in March 07 along with refundable security modem deposit of Rs 1000 ( thier receipt no.S98972 dated 11 Mar 2007). Before I avail thier services , I was moved out of Chennai to Hyderabad and returned their modem and reqyested several times for refund of security deposit. No Action was taken...

Poor BROADBAND download speeds.

I have recently taken a new 256kbps broadband 6-month package (Customer ID: 167296) from Hathway.

At the time of being given the connection I was assured speeds of 256 kbps (or at least 80% of it which is roughly ) at all times. However, I have been experiencing speeds between 25-85kbps during the nights (when I am most likely to use the service) and around 110 kbps during the day (which is way below the promised speed).
