I am customer of hdfc bank, having my saving account bearing no.[protected] in hdfc branch situated at leela bhawan, patiala. The branch offered me with the services of credit card facility on this account vide jet privilege credit card no. [protected] and i was availing the same till now.in the year 2016, i visited to the branch, where i was offered to pay my mobile bills through my above stated credit card as it would be give 5 % discount on my mobile bills payments. I agreed with the same and the concerned official took my standing instructions of tad (Total amount due) upon my credit card bill payment from my said saving bank account and i enjoyed that service till in the end of year 2016. However in jan, 2017 onwards i shocked to see regular deductions of huge amounts from my saving account. I visited the branch and also made many complaints through my mail id [protected]@gmail.com in march, 2018 on hdfc customer care supports as well as through request application to manikandan ps (Grievance redressal officer), hdfc bank cards division, 8, lattice bridge road, thituvanmiyur through registered post on dated 3.11.2017 with request to refund of deducted excessive amounts. But the official did not pay any attention to my requests. Rather now i started receiving threatening calls from the officials of hdfc bank to pay rs.55, 000 more or in event i failed to pay, they damaged my cibil score to such an extent that i will unable to get loan facility in future from any bank. I remained in shock after hearing the threatening-cum-blackmailing calls from the officials. I also shocked when i did not use my credit card for any purchase except in payment of mobile bills and insurance premiums then how such a huge amount is being demanding by bank in such an illegal manner.in spite to refund the excessive amount deducted from my saving account, the bank are demanding such a huge amount of rs.55000/- which is unjust.in fact, moreover, i did not receive any credit card bill of rs.55000/- with regard to alleged purchase through my credit card till today.
