Dear Mr. Lizuka,

I have a strong complaint against the service of my 1.5 Ton AC.

I got this done by Local Hitachi dealer in Delhi (Monsoon Sarita Vihar) last September. Due to winters and fall conditions I didn't used it much then and now when I started the AC in June, there was no Cooling whatsoever.

On complaining with Hitachi same dealer came and have detected the leak at the welding, which is not our mistake. However they refuse to accept their mistake and they want charges to refill the gas for which they charged us last September 2008.

Is there some authority in Hitachi who can help me

We would appreciate your immediate assistance on the above.

very irrresponsible behavior on behalf of the dealer in lucknow who not only makes false promises but also doesn't receives phone calls kindly see to it that such a famous brand doesn't get dubious reputation due to such irrresponsible persons
This communication is regarding the problem I am facing with the Hitachi Air Conditioner, Model No.14EOD. machine no. 080d14660 that i purchased on 13march2009.

1. After one week o[censored]sing the product, the AC started making a cluttering noise.

2. Subsequent to making a complain with Hitachi, a technician was sent, but the problem remained unsolved.

3. After three repeated rounds by the technician, a senior technician also checked the air conditioner, yet the problem continued.

4. After all this humiliation mr. harpreet singh(service manager) asked me to send the air conditioner to the service centre for inspection, to which I agreed.

5. Then the air conditioner was brought back in a rickety condition, and what is worse is when i complaint to mr. harpreet he argued back "abusively".

6. Three days later the cluttering noise is still prevailing persistently.

7. And when Mr. Harpreet was contacted to update him regarding the problem, he refused by saying there is no problem.

I am shocked at the way such a big brand like Hitachi makes its customers feel sorry for spending there money and trusting a product that’s worthless.
Hitachi claims this Air Conditioner to be the world’s most silent Window AC but I have suffered completely otherwise.

I am baffled by the way your company and your people have harassed me all through these four months.
I, therfore ultimately call upon to you to pay attention which requires your immediate action and an effective step to solve this problem or unfortunately i have to file a suit in the consumer court regarding your after sale service.

i am having d hitachi's a.c...its not working properly ...i am having d a.m.c also..my problem is that ur employees came at my home to look at d a.c..taken a.m.c now its being 15 days we r calling them there is no response ...they havent taken my a.c for d servicing yet....we keep trying there numbers... they didnt response to our problem.. so kindly look into my matter....n suggest me what should i do to get rid of this humiliation....Your servicing employees are so useless....
This is to mention that I have a window AC of Hitachi brand which we bought after having heard that the products are good. But , the experience with the product and the service compels me to come up with such a frustrating response. I am a resident of Noida, sector 48. My AC started giving problems in cooling, which I sensed around 20th of June. I called up customer care for the same at which they responded after two days. The concerned engineer (Mr. Nitin) from Sec-63, Noida arrived and reported that the AC is perfect and did some dry servicing. Even after that I felt that the problem of cooling continued and therefore reported it again at the customer care. It was diagnosed of gas-leakage and from thereon I am chasing the customer care for my AC to be picked up for repair. Till date nothing has happened and is really frustrating to have product from a company like Hitachi. It has become a routine work for us to call customer care every day twice / thrice only to hear unfulfilled promises.
i fully agree I had registered my service request on 29.03.12 for service of my 2 window AC on helpline No.[protected] as ACs are covered under AMC. the request has not been attended yet despite 13 days passed since then, I have tries several times caling customer care no. but the same also did not yield any result. i feels cheated by HITACHI on the pretext of AMC they have grabed around 3000/- from me i wonder how they have been cheating so many people.
Hi friends, unfortunately I purchased 1.2 Ton Hitachi AC on 22nd March'13 (Customer Care ref.no. [protected]). Next day I receive a call from Hitachi Service center, informing that, they are coming to install the AC on 25th March'13.Accordingly I take leave from my office, Hitachi Engineers visit my house on 25th March'13 evening by 5.00PM for the information, that they are unable to install because it is too late and will come on 26th morning. Again I take a leave on 26th and by 6.00 PM I receive a call from Hitachi service center, informing that, Engineers who are supposed to come to my residence are unable to come and will come on 28th March'13. Today is 28th March'13 and now the time is 2.40 PM, as usual I take a leave for today. I lost 3 working day. I don't know another how many working days I shall lost. I have done a great mistake by purchasing Hitachi product.
Hi I am using window ac . I booked service which registration no:[protected].
This is emergency as this ac used to maintain a temperature which is require a cancer patient two days gone but there are no reply from yours side. I requesting many time to call customer care about this condition but they said three four days. I think this is very bad behaviors with a customer .
please inform me what is update on my request as soon as possible.

    Dear Sir,
    I own a Hitachi split air conditioner that needs service/repair. We have been filing complaints with Hitachi helpline every day since 3/5/11 (on some days 2-3 times) and each time we are told that service will be provided soon by their service centre. Till date nothing has been done. My wife and are suffering acute mental agony in this blistering heat, but Hitachi has shown nothing but a very callous attitude and useless and hopeless service. Our complaint no. with their helpline is [protected].
    Sir please take the strictest action against them so that they stop taking their customers for granted.

      With all due respect, Hitachi dealer,customer care,after sales service and technical/service engineer(s) are all fake and nothing else but bunch of liars, whose job is to lie over the phone and play with the customer emotions.

      Actually Government should take...

      Hi,

      I had lodged a complaint of “no cooling” of my Air conditioner on 1st May,2011.The service request number is [protected]. At that time it was committed that the complaint will be attended by our engineer within 48 hours. As of now more than seven days has been passed but no one turned up or even called for attending the call. For the past three days I am continuously calling at call centre numbers but no respite. No one has the visibility about the status of complaint , every time executive ensures that the same will get attended within two hour or so but after seven days status is same. They have informed me that call has been allocated to the engineer named Sunil. They had also provided me the numbers of Patparganj Service centre but after my repeated tries I am unable to speak at service centre as no one is picking up the phone. It is first time I had purchased any Item of Hitachi and I was very satisfied till date with the product. But now I am very disappointed with the after sales services.I had written a complaint at there customer service on 5th May'11 but didn't get any reply.

      Please help in getting the problem resolve.

        I submitted a request on 1st May, 2011 for repairing my AC. The complaint # is: [protected]. I was promised that the complaint will be attended to within 48 hours. It's been 6 days and still nothing has been done. Every time I call the customer service, they promise that action will be taken and even after 10 calls to customer service nothing has happened.

        I was given the Hitachi Area Sales/Service Manager Mr. Maninder - [protected] who never picks his phone. I wonder why Hitachi hires personal which does not help their customers. I have lost faith in Hitachi.

        I hope that this consumer complaint will help me to resolve my issue.

        Hitachi — AC not being serviced

        I had purchased my Hitachi AC from Tata chroma Indirapuram 2 months ago. it was installed after repeated calls after 1 and half months, and now it is giving problems. water is drippping from ac. after repeated calls, no one is coming for service. also they have not bothered to give demo of their product.
        please do not buy hitachi product as their service is very poor.
        on their customer helpline, they say option 2 for following up on your request, but they forward to option 1 only and you can not even speak to supervisor.

          I pruchased Hitachi Summer QC AC on 19.04.2011. Some vibration sound is comming from Ac. I logged compalint with vendor i.e. CROMA on 24.04.2011 but till date no body from the Company came to attend even after several calls to the Hitachi Customer care.

          Hitachi has worst customer care. NEVER BUY ANY HITACHI PRODUCT.

            I have been using Hitachi Quadricool 1.5 ton AC for last 2 years. This summer it developed some problem and didnt cool. I raised complaint [protected] on 24th Apr. The person on the line promised me that someone will address the issue within 2 days. Nobody called or came to fix the issue. I again called customer care on 26th morning. They again promised me that someone will surely address the issue. Again nothing happened. On 27th i again called them and this time customer care lead Mr Yash promised me that someone will come in the evening.

            One technician came to my place on 27th evening and told me that issue is gas leakage. I told him to give me jobsheet and take the AC with him to fix the same. He said, he dont have jobsheet but promised someone will come to take the AC.
            After 2 hours, 3 people came to my place and identified themself as Hitachi professionals. They came to take the AC with themselves. I asked for Jobsheet again and they said they dont have any jobsheet but they can write in a blank sheet of paper the Compressor details for confirmation. I asked them to show me there identity card, but none of the 3 person were having any identity card.
            They were not having jobsheet , neither were they having any identity proof that they work for Hitachi.
            I refused to handover my AC to them.
            Since then, every single day i call customer care to get my issue resolved but noone seems to be bothered to take any action.
            It has been 11 days now and my AC is still not serviced and Hitachi customer care is not taking any action. Moreover, the personal from Hitachi service center were un-professional and didnt have any jobsheet or identity card.

            It has been mental harassment to me all through. I have escalated the issue but still nothing seems to work. Hitachi window AC is around 7-8 k expensive then other AC in the market. But still there service is worse that other players like LG and Samsung.

            Can anyone suggest what course of action i should take to teach these guys a lesson and set an example that consumer is not a fool

              I have purchased air conditioner of hitachi make model kaze 1.5 spilt on 25/4/2011 from NEXT RETAIL SHOP MAYUR VIHAR. Inspite of my repeated call to remove the fault in the ac nothing has been done till today. there are many faults as stated below:-
              1. The display system of indoor unit is not working since installation.
              2. The cooling system is not working finely due to poor installation.
              3. The remote is not working properly.
              4. The swing functionality in ac is not at all functional.

              We are very upset with the service.

              i have purchased one ac of hitachi make model no.Ra5 018k2
              It is to inform you that I had purchased an Hitachi Air conditioner from one of your dealers in Bhubaneswar namely Bluray Solutions.
              The grill of this 1.5 ton ac was broken from the beginning and I am not getting any positive response to replace the same from the dealer as well as your service center.
              The behavior of your attendants is very miserable. They keep on giving times but never turn up. Moreover after getting their pockets filled they just don’t care about the customers.

I was in search of authorized service center of Hitachi hard disk from last four months, but i could not find the same, because my pruduct is in the under waaranty.                 Now i get the way that how to solve this problem, there is only a single way i.e create a RMA online for warranty and call to customer care. Then the courier boy (Blue Dart) will come and take the hard disk and send to Chennai, then after few days in same manner a courier boy will come and he will give the replaced hard disk at your address:

                Hitachi Deskstar 500GB Hard drives have a inherent defect of the drive motors freezing up. In a rave system of four hard drives, three have froze after the stated warranty was up.

                  2ton split a.c. running actually not running in my home, for that i complain hitachi service center no.35324848 on 26th. of april but till today no one has approch us , from hitachi for this matter, whenever i called them they say postively today person will reach, but till today no one has come. the worst company i have come across. In this extreem summer weather we have to sleep without a.c.

                    Hi,
                    I purchased Hitachi AC in Ratna Fan house T..Nagar on April 24th 2011, When service person from Hitachi came for installation it has been found that outdoor unit has been damaged (Plastic holder). This has been reported to Ratna fan house (response from them is that hitachi will take care of this, confirmed by the hitachi service person). Registered complaint with the hitachi customer service, when service came he was asking for 350 Rs for replacing the damaged part. Please advice me what should i do now.

                      mr.mahinder singh maan house add..f 1/9 model town...delhi 9 TO whomsoever its concern..i bought ac in 2006 which has occured with a compressor problem..n i launched the complaint on 24 april 2011..an executive visited n said that your ac has to be taken to the workshop..from that day that is 24 april no one visited again n i m totally fed up of giving call everyday..they promise to pick it up but no body come..my complaint number is [protected]..pls take an immiediate action regarding the same..and do the needful thank you

                      Hitachi Window A/c — No Demo given

                      I had logged a request for product demo for my newly purchased Hitachi A/c on 17 March 2010. Till date no one has visited the complaint & is just lingering on the case. I am really disappointed by the kind of services that are being provided by a company like Hitachi.

                        i bought 1.15 ton split ac in march 2010 but its gas leaked after three months.i made complain on 25 april 2011. service agent reached at my home on 28.04.11 after many reminders.i started making request to mr. kuldeep ( mob:[protected]) time without numbers evertime the gentleman that gas would be filled in few hrs.status is same even after three days.ough/hitachi inspiring next gen to be more unethical and lier.

                          Dear Concerned,
                          This is to inform that I purchased Hitachi Split AC-1.5 Ton in the month of April 2010-model RASO18HQDP Machine Serial No. SE-101bo8470 and Customer ID [protected]. And since long this is giving trouble like Swing making noise, Indoor unit vibrating a lot and all these complaint you can check from your database of Complaint Management system, Recently also complaint was registered Complaint no.[protected], where Indoor unit was very noisy while Compressor is on. This was attended week back and technician told me that unit is not noisy so some senior technician will visit and do Inspection. Today my AC unit was attended and Technician agreed that Unit is noisy and this is due to front panel of indoor unit which has loosened up due to dismantling of Front panel during servicing done earlier. So he provided some packing’s by inserting paper and thread in the area where locks are provided. I asked the technician that this is only temporary solution to the problem and front panel should have been changed instead. But he told me that Company does not change Front panel as plastic parts are not covered under warranty. My submission is that Front panel has loosened because to carelessness of your earlier technician then for that why CONSUMER is be penalised. Infact same thing I have written in the complaint sheet also which can be cross checked.
                          After this regarding problem in my split AC, again service engineer Mr. Sukhbeer ([protected]) from Hitachi visited and replaced the Front Panel but problem has still not been resolved, Now they r saying that there is a problem in installation wall ie. Vibrations is coming from Wooden Board on which indoor unit is mounted. I have a point that why till date no problem was there since it got installed in April 2010, they r trying to find problem everywhere except the real cause ie. INDOOR UNIT which is making noise/vibration due to faulty functioning.
                          Now you can very well understand that every time engineers are visiting and giving their logic for NOISE/VIBRATIONS COMING in Indoor Unit. Finally I would simply request HITACHI COMPANY to arrange for the replacement of Indoor Unit with new one as so many times my AC Indoor unit has been opened/closed and now I am not willing to continue further with this practice anymore. Hope you understand my situation who has spend Rs. 36000/- (going for most expensive AC in market) and still facing problem. Please arrange for NEW INDOOR UNIT so that I also enjoy trouble free peaceful nights. Hope this is fine.
                          Again the unit got repaired in the month of Feb.2011 in presence of your engineer Mr. Mudit (Customer Care manager-[protected]), but as it was winter so after initial testing the unit was closed and was not subject to long running to judge the performance. But form yesterday I operated the A/C unit and again it has started making noise. Request you to pls. intervene as after so many visits of your executives unit is not functioning properly. Pls. arrange for the replacement. You can very well understand my situation where I am perusing for the complaint resolution again and again
                          PLEASE ARRANGE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE INDOOR UNIT WHICH IS HAVING MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

                            2)ON[protected] I GAVE A COMPLAINT REGARDING WATER DRIPPING FROM THE INNER UNIT OF THE AC WITH HITACHI SERVICE CENTRE WITH REQUEST NO-[protected] BUT AFTER ONE DAY I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THEM THAT UR WARANTY PERIOD OF 1 YEAR HAS EXPIRED 2 DAYS BEFORE THE COMPLAINT WAS MADE.SO HITACHI WOULD NOT DO IT FREE OF COST.

                              With Regret to inform you that we bought a New Window 1.5 Tonn AC Hitachi make ratings 3 star rating from M/s Anand Electronics Kalkajee New Delhi. I have been using Hitachi AC for last 12 Years and been working perfectly no complaints and no regrets about the Product.

                              We Bought the AC on 27.04.2011 from M/s Anand Electronics the problem arises with as per below:

                              I deeply regret to bring to your notice on the poor response from the service department of Hitach India. I would like to bring to your kind attention that we had raised a complaint April 4, 2011 with Request No : [protected] to rectify my brand new AC which is not giving cooling effect at this stage itself. And till date there has been no response or action on the same. I had already faced huge difficulty from the dealer side to get the same AC installed earlier. And now I face the difficulty in getting my complaint addressed promptly.

                              I don’t blame Hitachi Corporate Japan for I know their service is prompt. It is rather annoying to experience such worst response both from the dealer and the company in India. Inspite of sending several emails to the company id [protected]@hitachi-hli.com and [protected]@hitachi-hli.com, there is no action take as of now.

                              I would never recommend this brand to any one in India for the service in India is dead poor. Due to the language problem such matters become difficult to take it up to the Head office Japan.

                              I agree with this. Same here. My complaint # [protected] raised on 16th March is still not attended satisfactorily. There is not a single call from the service center team for rectifying the fault.
                              i would suggest you to take this up in the consumer court. I feel very bad when a brand like Hitachi has got so poor service in India. Things are taken for granted by the dealer and company personnels in India.
                              Is there any other named email id of HItachi India or corporate team?
                              The sad part is, as the corporate office being Japan, its very difficult to convey the complaint to them as they would not understand English and its all Japanese on their corporate site.
                              I am facing the same problem. My 2-ton auto-clean AC has been lying idle for 1.5 months and the dealer in Mumbai, Kings Electronics pays no heed to my complaints and follow-up. What did you do finally? Which email id did you write to and how did the problem get solved?

                              No cooling in refrigerator

                              Despite dozens of complaints, the problem is not rectified. Refrigerator is not having cooling within two months of its purchase. Please rectify defect or replace.

                                Dear Sir!
                                We bought a double door (390L) referigerator from Hitachi on 16.03.2011. To start with, I must submit that we kept waiting for company employee to visit us for installation but inspite of repeated requests through your customer care and the dealer, they turned after 07 days for the same. Presently, our newly purchased referigerator has stopped working of its own because of some electrical snag wef 23.04.2011. This time also, we approached the customer care (req no.[protected]), I was told that someone will visit and do the needful within 24 hours but no body has turned so far. We purchased this appliance based solely on Hitachi reputation and quality care but now I am feeling disgusted, cursing mu satrs and do not know what to do. I would really appreciate if something could be done in this regard. It is needless to write how important is this appliance in our households.

                                    We have new join in Hitachi at kadi at the date 18/04/2011 is this day We are completed our Training and after compeleted training at the date 19/04/2011 is our first day in company. we completed our B.B.A and now we are in Insulation Department in Company.20/04/2011 we get leave because we have to college for our degree certi. photo thats why we take permission for our supervisor. so supervisor say i have no problem u take permission for u r department incharge so we take permission from our our deparment incharge.now when i m going 21/04/2011 in company at that time the gate man say i have no required for u.because i have a more wprkers for work when i m complain and we want to meet manager they dont ans proper and say get out from here.when i m asking for our salary so they not ans proper.we have a major complain against your company policy and also contractor because they do not give 1 or 2 days salary to workers.now they dont ans proper.

                                    i hope u consider our complain and take action against the company policy and contractor.i m still waiting for your ans and i also want to know wht you take action against company.
