We have been facing issues regarding our Air conditioner for the past few weeks in our Hitachi 2 Ton Air conditioner.The after sales person came to our house and checked the whole thing.He said that it would require a replacement of compressor worth 11 K INR.Later when we cross checked with another electrician he confirmed that the capacitor in the AC was not working and it required a replacement of a capacitor worth 150 rupees.This is the kind of cheating and fraud done in the Hitachi sales services.

The name of the engineer responsible:-- Mr.Akhlaque Ahmed.
The name of the person who had come home for repair:--Mr Bhavani Yadav Phone number:--[protected]

Bhavani Yadav is a local from Haryana who cheated and did fraud thinking that nothing will happen.I would want strict action to be taken against this person.Fraud and cheating is becoming rampant and these souls should be severly punished.

    Hi,

    I purchased a Hitachi Split A/C unit from Nutan Electronics, Dilshad Garden, Delhi in November 2010. I got it fitted in my apartment at Dwarka and the Hitachi service person who fitted the A/C forgot to seal the hole through which pipes and cables are connected from outdoor unit to indoor unit. As it was winter that time, we did not use the A/C. Also we were out of India till May 2011.
    Now when the summer started and we tried to switch on the A/C, I found out to my horror that the hole that was not sealed by the service person has allowed the squirrels to come into the indoor unit. They are eating away at the black insulation material every day. I don't know what other damage they have done till now.The A/C is not switching on at all now.

    I called the customer care on 15 May 2011 and registered a complaint - [protected]. They assured me that a service representative will contact me soon. I waited for 2-3 days but nobody contacted me. After that I called customer care again 2-3 times, each time they would say we have increased the priority of your complaint and somebody would call. Till now (21 May), nobody has called me.

    Frustrated I called the customer care again yesterday night (20 May) and spoke to Mr. Moin (team leader) at around 8:25 pm on 20 May 2011. He again assured me that a call would be given to me by 21 May, 10 am and the problem would be fixed.
    Nobody has called me again till now, it has been more than a week now.

    Is this how Hitachi treats its customers??

    Is this why I brought the most expensive A/C in the market?? In this scorching hot summer, I'm not able to use my A/C, which I brought trusting just the Hitachi name.

    When will my problem be resolved?? When will the service engineer heed to my complaint??

    I'm sorry to say but this has shaken my belief in Hitachi and I'll be very cautious in future to purchase anything of Hitachi brand. I'll also give the same advise to my friends and known ones.

      WE BOUGHT 2 HITACHI ACs ON 20-04-11 FROM VIJAYSALES {C.G.ROAD BRANCH-AHMEDABAD}. INTIALLY WORN OUT STAND WAS INSTALLED, BUT AFTER OUR OBJECTION THEY CHANGED THE STAND. ONE OF THE SPARE PART IS BROKEN, THE COMPRESSOR FENCE IS DAMAGED AND IS DRIPING WATER FROM THE INSIDE UNIT INSTEAD OF OUTSIDE UNIT. THE OUTDOOR UNIT IS ALSO SWEATING WATER FROM THE NOZZLE OUTSIDE. THE CONTRACTOR Mr.JAGDISH PATEL USED ABUSIVE LANGAUGE AND WAS VERY RUDE.EVEN AFTER RUNNING THE SYSTEM FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS IT IS NOT COOLING THE ROOM. I HAVE REGISTERED COMPLAIN WITH HITACHI CUSTMOR CARE TWICE BUT TO NO RESULT. THEY CLAIM THAT IT IS NOT THERE RESPONSIBILITY. WE COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER TRICE AND THAT TO NO RESULT. IT IS NOW ONE MONTH WE HAVE PURCHASED THE AC BUT STILL WE ARE NOT ABLE TO USE IT.

      I had a problem In AC-Fan ( Sound problem ) in April 2012 .I complaint to air conditioner point .He reply us this is due to servicing problem.
      He had come to our home and wash the air conditioner done the Servicing . After Two mounth left Our Ac- Fan Has Stop .Again I complaint To Air Conditioner Point on 15 july 12.00 pm.
      Again They come to our home on 23th july 9.30 am and check the fan and told us You fan is fail and not workable .He take my fan to his shop .After Two day left we call up . What about my fan .He told that your purchasing gaurentery is expired now .You are purchasing date now 1 year 2 month are left .This is not replace now .So We can take a money For new fan. and this 3 Mouth gaurentery

      My Question Is this Japan Technology only One Year two mouth is Workable .
      Where We go now after September winter is start if fan is not workable again we replace. ?

        I Shivangi joshi R/O I-27, 2’nd floor lajpat Nagar 1 had purchased a Split AC from Hitachi on the 23-05-10 through VIJAY SALES LAJPAT NAGAR , the same was installed at my place on the 26-05-10. The AC worked for 4 months and was then not used since it was winters. The AC was switched on this year on the 25-03-11, and it was not cooling at all. A technician from Hitachi had come to service the AC (Wasim Khan) and informed us that there is no gas in the AC so how will it cool. He was the person who launched a complaint for us for non-cooling on the 03-04-11. A service guy came and filled the gas on the 05-04-11, the gas was again discharged in my bed room on the 07-04-11. Again a complaint was reported and the gas was re-filled on the 10-04-11. The gas discharged again on the 14-04-11.

        On the 17-04-11 a senior technician came to repair the AC, he assured me that this time there will be no problem (the technicians name was AJAY). On the 16-04-11 he made pressure in the AC and on the 17-04-11 he had to come to re-fill the gas. I was told by him on the 16-04-11 that since I have been facing same problem with the AC repeatedly the warranty can be extended for the same for three months and he would give it in writing that the AC will not give any problems once serviced by him. On the 17-04-11 when he came the pressure was not maintained. He took three hours and filled the GAS AGAIN. I asked him if it would give problems or no, I was told it will drop water inside your room during Monsoon as at one point we are unable to fix the problem. I told him ok what about the extended warranty only for the gas he told me that his boss has refused the same. The next question which came was then what happens if the 1 year warranty expires and the gas leaks. The answer was you will have to pay RS.2600 for gas installation and if not I can take an amc worth RS.3600.

        I requested him that I wish to speak to his boss regarding the same. Before, I could speak to his boss he told him that:
        1. I stay on the top floor.
        2. My room is very big (my room size is 12 by 10), I stay in lajpat nagar 1 and everyone is well aware of room sizes in a 100 Sq. Yards room.
        THE BOSS COMES ON THE PHONE I ASK HIM FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY REFUSED POINT BLANK , REPLACE THE AC NOT POSSIBLE AND THEN THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE 'BAHENCHOD' YOU STAY ON THE SECOND FLOOR AND THE AC WILL NOT COOL WE CAN NOT HELP IT. Manager NAME (KULDEEP DAYAL).
        I lost my temper and went to VIJAY SALES LAJPAT NAGAR BRANCH and spoke to Mr. PRANAV about the same. I was assured on the 17-04-11 that my ac will be replaced and within a week.
        1. From the 17-04-11 to 24-04-11 no replacement no call from anywhere.
        2. On the 25-04-11, I went to MR. PRANAV and was assured to give them some time as the model is no more coming we are arranging the same it will be done by the Thursday[protected].
        3. I go back home wait like fools at home taking off from work and on the[protected], i go back again asking what happened. I was told that the AC has moved from PUNJAB (Chandigarh) and will be installed by MONDAY OR TUESDAY. I reach home was called by KULDEEP DAYAL and confirmed the same.
        4. On the 06-05-11, I was told that it has not been approved and your ac will not be replaced. We can only re-fill the gas.
        A month was passed by HITACH and VIJAY SALES MAKING A CUSTOMER A EDIOT JUST because believed in what she was being told and did not stoop down to a level where I could have easily abused them left and right.
        Then On the 06-05-11, I insisted that I wish to speak to a senior manager/ Store incharge of VIJAY SALES. They called Ms. Niti Singh she is the incharge of LAJPAT NAGAR branch for VIJAY SALES. The lady was shocked to hear HITACHI’s behavior. She then told me since its Friday and late in the evening, to give her time till Monday to work things out as the brand is closed over the weekend.
        On the 09-05-11, I went to meet her and was told that she had spoken to every one and a senior technician will visit my home and the AC will be repaired and I will have no problems to be rest assured. The technician visited my home on the 10-05-11 and said the AC cannot be repaired over here needs to be taken at the workshop and de-installed the AC.
        The AC is de-installed and still lying in my house, no one has come to pick it up from Hitachi.
        I want to ask the 1 year warranty of my AC expires on the 22-05-11 there is no gas in the AC. The AC has been de-installed.
        I would like to question:
        1.I do not want a defected AC today they are repairing it because it is in warranty what happens tomorrow when the warranty expires whom do I go to.
        2. A product worth 40,000 and a brand name ‘HITACHI’ is good for nothing.
        3. The non working AC has been repaired 3 times still the problem persists (NO COOLING) and in some of the reasons given by HITACHI on their site as to why HITACHI is BETTER claims clearly that:
        The innovative air delivery mechanism enables spiral airflow creating a "whorl" effect ensuring no hot air pockets in the room.
        MY AC WORKS WORST THAN A COOLER
        4.If they cannot exchange the AC which is defected why should i keep a product worth 40,000 which is defective and there atrocious behavior . Please help I do not want my hard earned money in vain and suffer.
        5. We are middle class people and each penny is hard earned how can you be so thick ear.
        6. After promising a replacement and making me a fool for one month, you can easily get away by saying it cannot be done.
        7. Where is the customer in your eyes? According to me a poper and not a king.
        8. Am I at fault by buying your brand?
        9. Please do something :
        a) Replace the defected, non working, and repaired AC, if my model is not there anymore, I am ready to pool in extra money to buy the latest model.
        b) If you cannot replace it mend the AC and give me free AMC for a year/ extended warranty.

          I have bought a five-star window AC being model number RAV518ERD on 10 April 2011 from Fairdeal Electronics (Raja puri) Near DWARKA New Delhi. Just above one months of installation the Air Conditioner has stopped working. A complaint with this respect was lodged within customer care on 17 may 2011 Vide complaint number[protected]. On the 18th morning I again followed up with customer care and requested to attend to the fault urgently. I was assured that the complaint will be rectified and attended to within 48 hours of its lodging. Further on request you customer care provided me the telephone number of Mr. Shiv Kumar Rajput, who I was told to be the service head. But to my utter dismay I keep calling on the number provided i.e.[protected] the entire day but nobody responded.

          I again called up on 19 may to know the status of my complaint but to my surprise Mr. Chirag who attended the call informed that in normal circumstances only the complaints are attended within 48 hours and there is no definite turnaround time to attend to the complaints. Further he was rude and absolutely unfriendly and further refused to give any contact number or e-mail of any senior person in Hitachi so that I can follow up with them directly.

          The product which develops non-functionality within two months of its purchase is deemed to have a manufacturing defect and further the officials attitude and adamant in non-attending the complaint within warranty period is unfair trade practice.

          Hitachi is prividing no service at all. Custmer service is one of the worst. executive attending cal only know to atend the call have no solution neither have any concern about the caller. System is faulty, I am also geeting daily assurance of geting it right but only assurance. i have bought same system and same shop and facing the music. i[censored] have got some solution do intimate me also.
          hitachi very bad keep calling[protected] but it is switched off.

            I am very sorry to state that despite of repeated reminders on phone and by e-mail, he AC is still lying unrepaired at my residence.

            Please advise the next level, where I can lodge a complaint and get it done.

            Please confirm, at the earliest.

            Today morning also I called up your call centre and the service station at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar.

            Hoping and praying for an early response.

            Please note that if you can not get the repairs done, just let me know, so that atleast I can get it repaired from outside.

              I Purchased The RAV513ERD AC Of 1.1 Ton On[protected] Evening From Suraj Business Pvt. Ltd., Palam Vihar Gurgaon. And Today On[protected] The Installation People Get It Installed But There Is No Cooling At All. And They Are Saying That Due To Loading/Unloading Its Compressor Is Not Working. I Dont Understand How It Can Be Possible Since I Have Many Other Cooling Appliance At Home From Different Companies Like Voltas And LG And I Have Shifted Many Times But Those Products Never Showed Any Problem In Cooling. And In This Hitachi AC The Problem Occurs Right At The Time Of Installation. Please Take The Appropriate Action Immediately Else I Have To Take Appropriate Action.

              We bought a Hitachi split ac 1.5 ton 517ISD I clean from Croma Delhi on 13 April 2012 but even after 5 days today, nobody has come for installation, even after repeated complaints . Y .P. Berry [protected]
              we are also facinf the worst experience in Hitachi ***** Split AC, we bought 2 machines installed not even a year back, one stop cooling and another not working at all, 8-10 times their technicians visited my office and then landing up without any outcome and tried to find our ways to blaim us for the same further, in their last visit they said to replace PCB but ultimately 25 days past no body turned up for the same... and now i'm filing a suite against them. further i'm using in total 10 acs of Hitachi windows and split now planning to dump all and replace it some economical brand like samsung, further not going to leave the cheater just like that definitely take legal action against them...VENDOR NAME WAS PRAGATI ELECTRONICS, KATNI

                  Hi,

                  I bought a Hitachi 1.5 Ton window Air-Conditioner machine on 30/04/2011, from Next retail shop at Lajpath Nagar, New Delhi, but from the day of installation the machin is not working, I put complain to Hitachi Customer Care for the same but no response, the complain# is [protected], dt. 09/05/2011, after so many reminders to Hitachi Customer care no one has come to attend the machine. Now I am totally out of control and not able to bare the same at any cost.

                  So I need your support on this to resolve the same, and I want my money should be return back by the Hitachi comapny ASAP.

                    Unprofessional attitude by Mr. Aman Verma & Mr. NIRMAL Singh.

                    1. A/c purchased on 5th May.FROM RELIANCE MART FARIDABAD
                    2. dELIVERED ON 7TH MAY.
                    3. 10 th May, up to 11.30 p.m Mr. Aman & Nirmal were bluffing.
                    4. Mr. Javesh & Mr. Das, take care on 13 th evening and sent some one to do the same.
                    5. 14th evening two unskilled worker came to my resi and destroyed my window's cover and installa tion was poor that a/c were tremendously vibrating and next day hiring one local personal and complete this.

                    we don't expect such a bluffing committment and rediculous attitude by the Reliance personal.


                    Also Please return Rs. 6500.00 for destroying my windoes cover.


                    2067 , 2068 & 2069 is the photo graph installed by reliance personals and 2070 &71 are the photo after proper insatallation by local electrician.

                    we want properinvestigation to stop this type of attitude.

                      I hope anybody from Hitachi read my mails. today your engineer (Prakash Contact no-[protected]) visit my home but not solve my problem. He told I have no solution. Your area manager (Mr. Yagnesh Patel Contact No-[protected]) not reply properly. He told what is your problem? I send person your home, my duty is over. When I ask for replacement , He told I have no solution. When I ask any senior of Hitachi person's contact noumber. He replied I have no idea. So I want your CEO number, if he is not deaf.

                        I have purchased the air conditioner of Hitachi last year in September-2010 and now its not cooling properly since last 10 days and after so many complaint there is still no visit from the company to resolve the matter. Its the worst service standard I experienced.

                        Hitachi Air Conditioner — Very poor after sale service

                        We had requested for servicing of our AC on 10-April-10. It is more than a week and no body has come for servicing as yet.

                        The service request number is[protected].

                        The customer care is never available. We have tried almost 10 times since yesterday and there is no response. We had bought the AC last year and had specifically chosen Hittachi going by the reputation and brand. I hope we dont loose the trust in your service and company.

                        The authorised service center for the area is 'Dutt Refrigeration and airconditioning'. We are fed up with following up with them for service. First they say that they would be coming for service in a week's time and then they don't turn up and there is no reponse when we contact them on phone.
                        Same here. Atleast u were lucky to get ur complaint registered. I was not able to get in touch with their customer care. I have tried multiple times but no luck.
                        I wonder how standards change when MNC come to India. Zero customer care & they charge premium to other product as well.

                          I have bought 2 Ton and 1.5 Ton split AC from Trucul Inc Sector 10 Noida India dealer just 1 year back. As per Company rule i should get 3 free services. I have got call for first 2 service. My Last service was due on March end and i haven't got any call for service. Infact i have call dealer but no one came for service. In April again i call for service then service engineers came for service but he found that gas of both Ac are leaked. Sservice engineers denied to fill gas, because they have to take permission from manager.

                          Then i gone and meet the Manage of Trucul Inc Mr. Rajat Singhal (cell: [protected]) and he assured me that he will speak with company and resolve the issue. I was assued as per his word and waiting for service engineers to come and fill the gas. I keep on caling Mr. Rajat , every time he assure that he will speak with company and send service engineers to solve your case. This incident happened for 10-12 days, nothing happened.

                          As per my feedback Service of Hitachi is very bad. How any AC gas will leak in just 1 year. I have bought LG window AC 6 years back and still running very fine.

                          I beleive there some technical fault in AC or installation is not done properly. I will not recommed any one to buy Hitachi AC.

                          i brought the AC on Aug 2015. From the day one there is gas leakage issue . but i did not observed and every summer i am filling the gas and using the AC. yesterday i call the engineer and confirmed that there might be some leakage in AC. So there is leakage. Please reslove the issue.

                          There is no proper services from Hitachi CC team. from day one i brought the AC to home i was not satisfied.

                          Please provide the solution.

                              I bought 2 units(0.9TR & 1.2TR) of split a/c s from Mumbai & they were installed on 12/03/2011.
                              Initially 1 unit had some vibration problems, which the installation guy could not rectify, but next day the other guy could, just by positioning the condenser unit.
                              Well, from next night, I observed some abnormal sound from the condenser unit of another unit (0.9TR).
                              I stopped the unit & lodged the complaint next day. It was attended in 2-3 days & it was found that the DC Motor Fan wasn't running on demand, while the compressor starts. Service reps replaced some card.
                              but I observed same problem same night. Whenever unit starts after running for 2-3 hrs, its DC Fan in condenser unit doesn't start, making very abnormal noise. Fan starts, only after turning its blade externally (like many of the fan in Mumbai local trains).
                              I lodged the complaint last month, but the guys closed the complaint directly without attending it, putting a remark that address is wrong. And I realized it today, when I tried to inquire about the complaint status. It's really very disappointing.

                              In today's market, any customer is only buying Hitachi for quality, by paying all that extra premium cost. And, to go through all such grief is the last thing one would ever think of.

                              So, Hitachi really need to work on this.

                                Extra POOR INSTALLATION of Hitachi Split AC

                                Even till 10.05.11 (by 2.15 AM-Nightm while I could not sleep due to hot whether and AC could not be started because of IMPROPER INSTALLATIONS

                                While it was nice to hear from you today, but your mail by mistake is saying date today and same time saying 06.05.11, while today it is 04.05.11 only.

                                I must inform you that even after your instructions, your DEMO person ONLY (no installation team member yet) Mr. Rakesh Saha, M: [protected] called me and came to me ONLY to get convinced about the SHORTCOMINGS in installations (Only 100 mm (4") gap left backside of ODU instead of min. 150 mm (6"), black colour thick insulation tape cut by so called poorest auth. agent of yours (already informed you many times over mail0 and moreover he said as I am a DeMO person, so I am not going to come again and Installation person is needed. He also confirmed that charges for ins. is Rs. 1550 only instead of Rs. 1650.00 (So refund to banta hi hai)....

                                So why NOT YOU give instruction to Installation person to come with R-22 gas, copper tubings, welding set, Black insulation Tubings etc.

                                Why DEMO persons ONLY are calling when they themselves have admitted (Earlier Mr.
                                Rajesh, M: [protected] had come only to understand the problem, then not attending as he may not be from Installation team.
                                In my opinion, Hitachi is delaying because you gave contract to Sidhi Vinayak at a very very reduced rate (to earn profit) and they sent untrained person (As they normally send) and so resulted in IMPROPER installation and as Hitachi directly has not done installation (while your so called auth. sales agent SARGAM (Mr Saurabh) promised me that he shall send ONLY Hitachi person and no auth. agent. (A lie) to get grab o[censored]nderground money-may be....

                                So you must send proper Instl. senior (Age-wise and experience-wise) as they are not at all listening. Well you please tell me the name of the person whom you plan to send (must be SENIOR AND EXPERIENCED from Hitachi inst. team directly) after making a call at [protected].

                                or you prefer to let delhi people call me for demo while my Ins. has not yet completed.

                                And you have not yet confirmed my refunds.... ,
                                extended warranty (to start from the date oof final demo after proper Installation). Pl. tell me how many times do I have to ask you.                                 This IS REALLY very much frustrating, and I want immediate resolution

                                Some facts:-

                                1) Very very very poor service provider (by so called Auth. Agent of Hitachi- Sidhi Vinayak Enterprises for installation i.e. incomplete till date....
                                In my 2 Ton Follow Me Hitachi AC, the insulation Black colour tubing was cut and very very thin insulation tape was fixed on copper tubings in the inside unit, as the cover on hanger was not being fitted properly.
                                2) In outside unit, the gap from the back wall (on roof top was kept only 4", while minimum, it must be 6").
                                3) The mechanic of took my remote control screws and other accessories, thimbles etc. with them and then only returned screws of holding remote control back on next day. Why this theft by so called auth. agent.
                                4) On clearly indicating over phone to Mr Ishit at HO, he told on 23.04.11 that my problems will be resolved next day;. On my REPEATED insistence Mr. Rajesh, M: [protected] (Hitachi Service Deptt., 43 Furniture Block, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi-110015) was sent on 24.04.11 and he came only to listen and see my problems and ADMITTED all the faults as seen by him. He told to rectify the same by him on 24.04.11 but till date he never came as his boss mr Ravi asked him to ignore and he is insisting that only very very very poor service provider - so called Auth. Agent of Hitachi- Sidhi Vinayak Enterprises be sent again to rectify the faults. They have over charged (Rs.1650/-) for installation as against Rs.1500/-, so I want refund of balance amount also, if et all. I have already given the bill copy to Mr Rajesh.

                                Now I want the person from Hitachi come and RESOLVE my issues:-
                                1) Providing insulation in inside unit by bringing black colour insulation tubes and ensure that cover is fixed over hanger properly told to be from Delhi, as your (Hitachi's very very very poor mechanic had cut the same after fixing and then as he could not put the cover back properly- all of sudden cut the insulation and then put a very thin layer of tape over copper tubes). So this problem MUST be resolved.

                                2) In otside unit to make backside gap as 6" instead of 4" which is ENTIRELY AGAINST your own guidelines.

                                3) Purging was done from Nitrogen gas while installtion by so called auth. agent but from R-22 gas only thereby reducing the quantity from my AC. Hitachi should check the reduced qty.

                                4) To provide Proper demo after testing ALL PARAMETERS and no hotchpotch.

                                5) My 1 year guarantee must start from the date of resolution and proper demo…, as already .more than 15 DAYS have passed and Hitachi is going lazy, so it is not my fault at all.

                                The main cause of all problems; The untrained and very very very poor service provider (by so called Auth. Agent of Hitachi- Sidhi Vinayak Enterprises)- I wonder why Hitachi must choose such poor auth. agent. So pl. note that person from Hitachi, Kirti Nagar preferably Mr Rajesh M: [protected] be sent and resolve IMMEDIATELY, before I could take consumer complaint- as this is causing me not to start my AC at all and making my money useless. The interest and heavy damage by Hitachi will all have to be recovered besides lodging my genuine complaints at various leading newspapers of India.

                                But I hope that your service team will realise my genuine PROBLEM and resolve the same in tune with reputation of Hitachi....

                                  Lack of response even after giving complaint
                                  I deeply regret to bring to your notice on the poor response from the service department of Hitach India. I would like to bring to your kind attention that I had raised a complaint on 30th April, 2011 with Request No : [protected] to rectify my refrigerator (three door 366 litres) which was not cooling within one year of its purchase. And till date there has been no response or action on the same. I am facing the difficulty in getting my complaint addressed promptly.

                                  I don’t blame Hitachi Corporate Japan for I know their service is prompt. It is rather annoying to experience such worst response from the company in India. Inspite of emails to the company [protected]@hitachi-hli.com, there is no action take as of now.

                                  I would never recommend this brand to any one in India for the service in India is dead poor. Due to the language problem such matters become difficult to take it up to the Head office Japan.

                                  I HAVE PURCHASED HITACHI REFRIGERATOR IN DUBAI UAE IN THE MONTH OF AUG 2011 AND THEN BROUGHT IT TO INDIA KARNAL HARYANA . THE REFRIGERATOR WAS FUNCTIONING WELL BUT SUDDENLY IT DEVELOPED SNAG AND STOPPED FUNCTIONING AND WE LODGED COMPLAINT TO HITACHI INDIA AND THEY RESPONDED VISITED OUR PLACE AND TOLD US THAT IT NEEDS REPLACEMENT OF ONE PART BUT THEY REFUSED OUR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY AND TOLD US EVERY THING IS CHARGEABLE. THE REFRIGERATOR IS ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD AND THIS IS THE SERVICES WE ARE GETTING FROM THE PEOPLE OF THIS INTERNATIONAL BRAND. IS THERE ANY BODY TO HELP US.

THE REFRIGERATOR WAS FUNCTIONING WELL FOR ONE YEAR BUT SUDDENLY IT DEVELOPED SNAG AND STOPPED FUNCTIONING AND WE LODGED COMPLAINT TO HITACHI INDIA AT THEIR SERVICE CENTRE AT KIRTI NAGER, DELHI.THE COMPLAINT NUMBER WAS [protected].THEY VISITED OUR PLACE AND TOLD US THAT HEATING ROD NEEDS REPLACEMENT AND THE SAME WAS REPLACED WITH THE APPLICABLE CHARGES OF THE HEATING ROD AND THEIR CHARGES.THEY REFUSED OUR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY AND TOLD US THAT EVERY THING IS CHARGEABLE.AFTER REPLACEMENT OF THE ROD THE REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK.THERE WAS NO COOLING. THE REFRIGERATOR GOT HEATED TOO MUCH. AGAIN THE COMPLIANT WAS LOGED VIDE NO [protected]. THE MECHANIC VISITED AND INFORMED THAT THE PCB SEEMS TO BE FAULTY AND TAKEN THE SAME FOR REPAIR. AFTER FOLLOW UP THE SERVICE CENTRE SITUATED AT KIRTI NAGAR NEW DELHI INFORMED THAT PCB CANNOT BE REPAIRED NOR DO WE HAVE THE SAME AS THE REFRIGERATOR WAS PURCHASED ABROAD AND THE MODEL IS NOT YEY LAUNCHED YET IN INDIA. THE MODEL NO IS RW660FUK6X(A)GBK. THE FACT IS THAT THE ENGINEERS AND MECHANIC STATIONED AT INDIA ARE NOT ABLE TO FIND OUT THE FAULT NOR THEY ARE COMPETANT.WE HAVE ALSO TOLD THE COMPANY TO ARRANGE FOR THE FAULTY PART FROM ANYWHERE IN INDIA OR ABROAD ON CHARGEABLE BASIS BUT THEY ARE THE MUTE SPECTATORS.IF THEY HAVE PINPOINTED THE FAULT, CAN THEY NOT ARRANGE THE PART. IS THIS THE SERVICES WE ARE GETTING FROM THE PEOPLE OF THIS INTERNATIONAL BRAND. IS THERE ANY BODY TO HELP US.

                                    I have a strong complaint against the service of my 1.5 Ton AC.

                                    I got this done by Local Hitachi dealer in Delhi (Monsoon Sarita Vihar) last September. Due to winters and fall conditions I didn't used it much then and now when I started the AC in June, there was no Cooling whatsoever.

                                    On complaining with Hitachi same dealer came and have detected the leak at the welding, which is not our mistake. However they refuse to accept their mistake and they want charges to refill the gas for which they charged us last September 2008.

                                    Is there some authority in Hitachi who can help me

                                    very irrresponsible behavior on behalf of the dealer in lucknow who not only makes false promises but also doesn't receives phone calls kindly see to it that such a famous brand doesn't get dubious reputation due to such irrresponsible persons
                                    This communication is regarding the problem I am facing with the Hitachi Air Conditioner, Model No.14EOD. machine no. 080d14660 that i purchased on 13march2009.

                                    1. After one week o[censored]sing the product, the AC started making a cluttering noise.

                                    2. Subsequent to making a complain with Hitachi, a technician was sent, but the problem remained unsolved.

                                    3. After three repeated rounds by the technician, a senior technician also checked the air conditioner, yet the problem continued.

                                    4. After all this humiliation mr. harpreet singh(service manager) asked me to send the air conditioner to the service centre for inspection, to which I agreed.

                                    5. Then the air conditioner was brought back in a rickety condition, and what is worse is when i complaint to mr. harpreet he argued back "abusively".

                                    6. Three days later the cluttering noise is still prevailing persistently.

                                    7. And when Mr. Harpreet was contacted to update him regarding the problem, he refused by saying there is no problem.

                                    I am shocked at the way such a big brand like Hitachi makes its customers feel sorry for spending there money and trusting a product that’s worthless.
                                    Hitachi claims this Air Conditioner to be the world’s most silent Window AC but I have suffered completely otherwise.

                                    I am baffled by the way your company and your people have harassed me all through these four months.
                                    I, therfore ultimately call upon to you to pay attention which requires your immediate action and an effective step to solve this problem or unfortunately i have to file a suit in the consumer court regarding your after sale service.

                                    i am having d hitachi's a.c...its not working properly ...i am having d a.m.c also..my problem is that ur employees came at my home to look at d a.c..taken a.m.c now its being 15 days we r calling them there is no response ...they havent taken my a.c for d servicing yet....we keep trying there numbers... they didnt response to our problem.. so kindly look into my matter....n suggest me what should i do to get rid of this humiliation....Your servicing employees are so useless....
                                    This is to mention that I have a window AC of Hitachi brand which we bought after having heard that the products are good. But , the experience with the product and the service compels me to come up with such a frustrating response. I am a resident of Noida, sector 48. My AC started giving problems in cooling, which I sensed around 20th of June. I called up customer care for the same at which they responded after two days. The concerned engineer (Mr. Nitin) from Sec-63, Noida arrived and reported that the AC is perfect and did some dry servicing. Even after that I felt that the problem of cooling continued and therefore reported it again at the customer care. It was diagnosed of gas-leakage and from thereon I am chasing the customer care for my AC to be picked up for repair. Till date nothing has happened and is really frustrating to have product from a company like Hitachi. It has become a routine work for us to call customer care every day twice / thrice only to hear unfulfilled promises.
                                    i fully agree I had registered my service request on 29.03.12 for service of my 2 window AC on helpline No.[protected] as ACs are covered under AMC. the request has not been attended yet despite 13 days passed since then, I have tries several times caling customer care no. but the same also did not yield any result. i feels cheated by HITACHI on the pretext of AMC they have grabed around 3000/- from me i wonder how they have been cheating so many people.
                                    Hi friends, unfortunately I purchased 1.2 Ton Hitachi AC on 22nd March'13 (Customer Care ref.no. [protected]). Next day I receive a call from Hitachi Service center, informing that, they are coming to install the AC on 25th March'13.Accordingly I take leave from my office, Hitachi Engineers visit my house on 25th March'13 evening by 5.00PM for the information, that they are unable to install because it is too late and will come on 26th morning. Again I take a leave on 26th and by 6.00 PM I receive a call from Hitachi service center, informing that, Engineers who are supposed to come to my residence are unable to come and will come on 28th March'13. Today is 28th March'13 and now the time is 2.40 PM, as usual I take a leave for today. I lost 3 working day. I don't know another how many working days I shall lost. I have done a great mistake by purchasing Hitachi product.
                                    Hi I am using window ac . I booked service which registration no:[protected].
                                    This is emergency as this ac used to maintain a temperature which is require a cancer patient two days gone but there are no reply from yours side. I requesting many time to call customer care about this condition but they said three four days. I think this is very bad behaviors with a customer .
                                    please inform me what is update on my request as soon as possible.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I own a Hitachi split air conditioner that needs service/repair. We have been filing complaints with Hitachi helpline every day since 3/5/11 (on some days 2-3 times) and each time we are told that service will be provided soon by their service centre. Till date nothing has been done. My wife and are suffering acute mental agony in this blistering heat, but Hitachi has shown nothing but a very callous attitude and useless and hopeless service. Our complaint no. with their helpline is [protected].
                                      Sir please take the strictest action against them so that they stop taking their customers for granted.

                                        With all due respect, Hitachi dealer,customer care,after sales service and technical/service engineer(s) are all fake and nothing else but bunch of liars, whose job is to lie over the phone and play with the customer emotions.
