HI,

I ordered (2nd June, 10:42 am) a Nokia N8 mobile from HOme shop 18 online and money was deducted from my credit card at the same time. The delivery time as per the site was 2 working days (if you place an order before 12, that day is also counted) there was no condition apply * at the delivery time. I called these guys after 3 days (6th June) of not receiving the phone. They said that they have some issue and were not able to deliver the phone in time. I cancelled the order in the same call. I was told that the order cancellation takes 24-48 working hours and then refund is done is 96 hours after that. Thursday, 9th June i got a call from them and was informed that my shipment is ready for dispatch. I told them that i have already cancelled it and dont need it now (complaint ref. no:[protected] the guy told me that i will get the refund in 24-48 hours. Today, i got a mail that they have dispatched the product and i will get it in 2-3 days. I called them again and they said they will cancel the order and the device was dispatched because of some discrepancy at there end.
The problem is that my billing cycle for credit card is from 15 and if they dont refund money in time, i will have to pay interest on that amount as well.
Now, they have assured me that they will get back to me 13th June morning. I have lost trust in them because of what all i have been through.


1. i had to suffer because they did not deliver the product in time. first they told me i will get it by 4th JUne and later they said before EOD 6th and when i called on 6th they said they will deliver it in 2-3 days.
2. They could not even cancel the order in time even after multiple calls.
3.. Now they are not refunding money in time which is going to cost me.

All the loss has been on me so far. Please suggest.

This complaint is regarding HomeShop18 http://www.homeshop18.com/
This site is totally fraud. I ordered 4 toys from this site in Dec 2010. They repeatedly called me that you order will be delivered to you within 7-8 days that never happens, I called their customer care lots of times.
Finally they delivered 2 toys and that too in really bad condition. After that they called me and said that your 1 order has been canceled as it is out of stock and they will refund the money through cheque. And I asked about the 4th order and they said we do not have info regarding that. Then they called me after 1 week and I was told that it is out of stock. Then the episode if their calls begin I was old that you will get the refund through cheque within 2-3 days through Blue Dart courier service http://www.bluedart.com/. This service is also so they asked me to come to their office 10 kms away from my house and take it. They never pick calls. Now 3 months are over and I have not got the refund amount. Let me know how can I get that.

Update: The day after I have posted the complaint here.
I have got there call and they asked me that they will be sending it using other courier service. (First Flight)
And then I have finally received my cheques after 3-4 mnths after going to their office.

This is in reference to the sub order No.[protected]. I have made a request regarding the refund of the amount, I fail to understand why do you people make us fool ? When anybody wants to buy any product you guys respond very well however when it comes to the refund you guys start showing your attitude that what you are.
Its being a long have been calling you guys for the refund of my money but u guys say that you will receive the cheque on such n such date I don't know by which date i will receive that.
Now you guys told me that the cheque will be delivered by 28th June. If i will not get it back by 28th of June i will sue you guys for sure.

Material against order no[protected] returned on 5 th November and received by them on 8 th November through first flight courier no m991b1108979 . Home shop 18 noida office stamp and sign of Mr Anuj on POD is there . POD scan copy also sent . Money including courier charges still not returned by company .
They first failed to collect substandard material and asked me send back . Than courier details were sent and they started asking for POD ( Neetu of company ) . They stopped responding from 20 th November . When I called they apologies and told me that my e mail is wrongly registered . To my astonishment on my email you had sent earlier so many mails and once I started asking refund it got automatically changed in their system .
This is totally fraud .

      i had ordered through their portal for a kid's encyclopedia cd. but, a different product was delivered. when i took up the matter with them, instead of owning up the mistake and replace the product, they mumbled the vendor was correct. eventually they wanted me to send back the cd in original packing. members, beware of dealing with the online portal since my conversation and correspondence with them revealed that they have no genuine concern for the business. ravichandar, chennai

        I bought a webcam through HomeShop 18. It was delivered today. Immediately i tried to connect it, but it didn't work. The inbuilt mic just doesn't work. I tried for a solid hour but it would make my system hang. Called up Homeshop 18. The guy there has said that a technician will call back in 24 hours. Why 24 hours, why not now? Anyway let us see what happens in 24 hours.

          I took a Helicopter from home shop 18 on my son birthday. in first day only we had oprated 10 mins, but after that helicopter not taking charge. I contacted Home shop18 several time and given diff. no every time.
          after complaing call came from company, send your equipment to noida from mumbai. then will see. they d't have service center like metro city mumbai.
          In my view they are having worst service network and ple d't take any product from this kind of company.

            I bought a mobile phone - HTC Incredible S Mobile Phone(29MAR11-HTC-351) , order number[protected], from home shop 18 on 31st May 2011.
            The Website stated that the delivery will be made in 4 working days. I wanted to gift it to my father (and live in a different city), and chose to pay Rs300+ extra on homeshop18.com just because they had mentioned to deliver it in 4 working days as compared to the other website which though was selling it in Rs 300 less , but promising to deliver it in 5-6 days.
            As of today i.e. 6th June, the mobile is not even dispatched from their side, and they are not even ready to commit on a date despite my several calls to their call centers.
            I want to register a complaint for false commitment on the time they had committed on the website for the delivery.

                When I ordered the product I was shown the delivery time 5 working days . While in the order confirmation mail I got 7-8 working days . This is disgusting , you misguided me . This is was spoils the shopping experience . How can I trust you for future .

                I do not want to buy any product from you guys and will never allow any of my colleges and friends to do that as well .

                I appriciate your response, however my sister is going to New Jersey and i wanted to gift this to my sister . however after reading 7 days dilevery time which did not match what was written on the website we lost all trust on whatever content is written on your website . On my mobile i further got an sms from homeshop18 that it will be delovered on 13th June . You upset my sister as i could not gift it to her . I will never shop from you again, she had to fly tonight .

                Thank you for such worst experience . You could not deliver product from Noida to Delhi through your premium courier Blue Dart and you talk about 2 day express delivery .
                You can only apologize as you are doing your job . Who will compensate for the emotional torture you have done to me ?????? I was your old customer, earlier purchased sony digital camera from you as well last year through my old number [protected]. I will never shop from you again.

                Further I got a call from HomeShop18 and when asked the reason of this misguidance I got a reply that might be the data did not match and it will not happen again . How easy is that to get rid of the customer .

                I was explaining what happened and got a reply that this do happen sometime and will not happen again .

                I am extremely sad with this .
                I repeat when I was booking the order it showed delivery in 5 working days . I got order confirmation mail which showed 7 working days . I got order confirmation sms which showed 10 days . I got an shipping msg it showed again 2-3 working days on 8th June.

                What the hell is that . Are you kidding me ????

                After a long procedure of communication with the Homeshop18 team . I was promised by a team member Jagatjeet of Homeshop18 to send a gift for my father . And he called me that he will give me the way bill number of the same on Saturday, while I did not receive the way bill number on monday as well .

                    I purchased a Karbonn K570 mobile from Homeshop18 vide order no[protected] on 25th May 2011 and the handset was delivered promptly on 29th may 2011.
                    On receiving the handset I observed that the date of import was Jan 2010 that is more than 1 year old. I also found that the audio quality was poor , there was no call volume control and WAP was not working after 5 days of purchase it totally stopped working.
                    I found the address of Karbonn service centre in Moradabad and went there with the handset. They looked at it and said I have to send it to Delhi for repair as it was despatched from there. I tried to reason with them that any service centre in India should service the handset but they refused. I also tried their toll free number given on the box ie [protected] which is barred and email id [protected]@karbonnmobiles.com which does not exist.
                    As I was stuck with a defective handset, I called HOMESHOP18 and told them above story and requested them for the 15day money back guarantee which they advertise so heavily on TV and on their website.
                    CONCLUSION
                    1. HOMESHOP18 AND KARBONN MOBILES ARE SELLING NON MOVING DEFECTIVE HANDSETS IN THE MARKET AND MAKING INDIAN CONSUMER BUY IT
                    2. KARBONN MOBILES DO NOT HAVE ANY PROPER SERVICE CENTRES OR CUSTOMER CARE

                            i purchased a spice mobile QT 55 from homeshop18 vide order no[protected] dated 17 Apr 2011. no invoice was given on delivery of mobile. this mobile developed some functional problem on 25th MAY 2011. this mobile was sent to spice service center for repair under warranty period. service center refused to repair free of cost for want of hard / soft copy of invoice. contacted customercare homeshop 18 and spice mobile through e mail and telephonically requesting them to supply copy of invoice or to resolve the problem.despite repeated requests no action has been taken by homeshop 18 and spice mobiles till date..

                            I recently ordered a Spice QT-60 mobile phone(Order no.[protected] from Homeshop18 and i would like to mention that this is my first online shopping from homeshop...i would really appreciate the delivery services offered by them and my product is working so far so good...But the only thing that disheartend me is that my mobile phone contained no product bill inside the box...And without a proper bill in hand how will approach the service centres if my phone goes out of order...and now i have ended up calling the customer service day and night...but haven't received any bill till yet...this type of service is not expected from homeshop18...please send me proper bill as early as possible and get me out of such harrasments...and please do take some fruitfull actions...

                              I had placed an order online with HomeShop 18 on 15th May 2011 Ref Order Number –[protected] for Samsung Camera

                              It was supposed to get delivered in 7-8 working days. Today I am writing this complaint on 27 th May 2011 and don't have clue about the delivery schedule. Home shop 18 makes a lot of false statements and mislead the customer. Their TV channel talks about the products getting delivered in 7-8 days and actual experience is very different.

                              My repeated follow up have gone unheard I must have called their call center 5 - 6 times in last one month and the experience was really bad, the executives were rude and every time I called I just go one standard response that it will be delivered in next 3-4 days.
                              Home shops 18 attitude is really very unprofessional, I really don't have a clue when the order will be delivered,

                                And it was told that it will be delivered in2-3 and maximum 6-7 working days but product it not yet delivered
                                And whenever I call customer service they say "there is some issue with courier company that product can't be delivered, we'll let you know the details"
                                Is this the way you people provide services I have already paid money and don't know when I am gonna get the product.
                                Please take this as complaint
                                And resolution should be either deliver my product within two days or give me my money back
                                Other wise I'll go to consumer court

This is pathetic from their part.This was my first (and will be the last) order from them. I have cancelled the order and am sure Refund will also gonna take ages.

                                      Really it is clearly indicative of " MENTAL HARASSMENT', that instd of making any solution 2 my problem, ur team is making pressure to give the Xerox of my ID, which in any case will be provided 2 u to avoid any misuse, once again i assure u that in case whosoever comes to deliever product can originally check the required IDs in original for verification and recieving letter will also be given to the prsn but NO XEROX WILL BE PRODVIDED.B4 this there was no such demand in any o[censored]r commercial ADs and so on. As per Ms Rachna i m going to wait till evening today itself and i[censored] failed to fulfil ur cmtmnts we ll b meeting in CONSUMER COURT. this is my 6th mail, order pacing date was 23 Aprl 11, pmnt date 30 Aprl 11, and still product not delievered.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have order one samsung Camers from Home shop 18 order no. was[protected].dispacted consingment no. Ld1943963 through First Flight Courier by Home shop 18 and delevered to me on 7 May and charged Rs.4999. I opend that camera in the pregense of courier boy and found camer was not up to mark as they show on TV chanel. After this i called up home shop 18 toll free no. and they told me send it back to them on following address: DBM Marketing Pvt Ltd Old Dlf Colony Sec-14 Gurgaon 122001. So that i Send it back to same company on 9 May. Now today when I call on customer care toll free no. they told they refuse to except the sale product due to some technicla problem please advime me what to do.

                                        Dear Home Shoppie 18 owner,
                                        Im Rekha, I have been delivered with the HP digital camera model no. CB350 . It will turn on some times and some times it wont, im scared to touch it, every time i pray to turn it on !!! some times it turn on, if I click and release the button immediately, the picture will shake, click button is vey loose . Again the battery you have provided is of very poor quality . Please refund the money, Im not very satisfied with its operation . Please assist me.Mail to [protected]@gmail.com.
