I went to the branch where i have my instasavings account for closure of the same but the staff told me to first do kyc updation for taking the application of the same. I agreed and the issue was from the bank servers as they were not able to get my kyc done, they asked me to visit the next day and so i agreed. I visited the branch again the next day but still the kyc cannot be done. Even the video kyc is not working in the video banking app. The staff says unless the kyc gets done, i cannot close my account. And they only are not able to get the kyc done. I insisted them to take the true copies along with my originals to verify my kyc but they say the only way is to do it in their system and not physically.
So the main thing is i cannot close my account, i have maintained zero balance because of the same and hence i would then be charged low maintenance charges on my account all because the bank cannot accept originals and true copies as kyc.
Ps: i also tried reaching customer care, no luck there either

    Earlier i made complaint then they return but after that again yesterday they deducted rs.1899/- without my knowledge.
    Its spoil icici reputation, i am sure i don't want to continue with them.

        I have been holding the icici bank account for then nearly 3 months and on 22 september 2020 for the first time an amount of rs 678.81+rs 189.01=867.81 was deducted from my account under the mab chgs, without even notifying me or sending me a message for the deduction. No one in the branch of icici have even notified or told me when opening the account, it displayed that i have been charged for something spelt as mab chgs. It have never happened before and at the time of opening my account i was not made aware of any such charges, so why am i charged of something which i was not made aware of in advance. Please look into the matter and help me in getting a refund of my money as soon as possible.

          Dear sirs,

          I have been using icici bank saving account as well as visa credit card ending with 6000, for the past 17 years. During the pandemic period, I have opted for moratorium and towards the end of August 2020, I had emailed icici credit card as well as head private banking for restructuring the amount.
          However to my utter disbelief, icici bank has suddenly blocked my savings account and inspite of having sufficient balance, I am unable to make payment towards my icici bank card. Moreover there are calls from recovery agencies and threatening me from time to time.

          The utter ugliness of the process is really appalling and I intend to close this mess forever. I have reached nodal officer, head private banking, although there is no response from the bank side.

          Please help me to close this matter amicably and also help me to resolve this matter at the earliest.

              At several occasions ICICI Direct site and App both cease to work. This has occurred many times and we had to face losses or book at lower profits. I believe strong action needs to be taken and charges should be levied for such massive losses of their customers. Today (23-Sep-2020 @9:46 am) such situation has occured.

              Need your intervention in this matter and a strong action.

                Sir I had filled application form for inter admission on 05/07/2018 through ofss website by my ICICI Bank atm card my money had been debited but did not get confirmation because of last date I made another payment from my sbi account .till now I did not received any refund amount from ICICI Bank.

                  On 18th september, i had deposited a cheque (# 451717) of sbi bank from my mother into my icici patuli branch account. On 21st september my mother received an sms from sbi informing that amount has been deposited to an icici bank account of a different person & not in my account. And that is when i realized that icici patuli branch employees have tried to deposit my cheque amount in someone else’s (Named chandan mishra) account to siphon the money to fraud account. Immediately when i went to the branch, mandavi surya (Dbm) didn’t bother to listen to the concern and asked me to contact sbi bank. But as the cheque was deposited to wrong account at icici’s end, hence sbi bank did not have anything to do.
                  Just because sbi sent the alert sms, i could catch the fraud & money siphoning attempt by mandavi surya (Dbm, icici patuli branch). A serious & punitive action should immediately be taken against mandavi surya (Dbm, icici patuli branch) so that other customers are not cheated.

                      I have been holding the icici bank account for then five years and last month for the first time an amount of rs 627 and 694 was deducted from my account under the mab chgs, without even notifying me or sending me a message for the deduction. I thought that i might have bought something and forgot about it but in the statement today i received, it displayed that i have been charged for something spelt as mab chgs. It have never happened before and at the time of opening my account i was not made aware of any such charges, so why am i charged of something which i was not made aware of in advance. Please look into the matter and help me in getting a refund of my money as soon as possible.

                        An amount of inr 999 has been deducted from my account.
                        The email says:
                        A purchase of inr 999.00 has been made using your debit card linked to icici bank account xxxxx on 22-sep-20. Info: vsi*amazon stan.

                        I did not made this transaction. Also, i did not made any subscription or request for auto debit on amazon.

                        Furthermore, i did not receive any otp for this transaction.

                        I have seen many such similar complaints on this complaints forum about such transactions happening through icici from vsi*amazon stan.

                        This is really disgusting. Please look into this asap and initiate refund for this amount of inr 999 to my account.

                        The message says:
                        Txn of INR 999.00 done on 13 Oct 2020 info:VSI*Amazon ST
                        I did not made this transaction also, I did not made any subscription or request for auto debit on amazone.further more, I did not receive any top for this transaction.
                        This is really disgusting.please look into this asap and initiate refund for this amount of inr 999 to my account

                          I have couple of loans (Housing and top-ups) at icici bank and going through very tough time now while dealing with them with regards to moratorium. As per my understanding march to may was first phase of moratorium announced by rbi and once again extended for three months (June-aug). Bank introduces online application for applying for moratorium each month (June-aug) and 1st phase was by default as there was no online mechanism.
                          Starting april (5thapril-10th april emi dues) there has been emi bounce charges levied and no reversal of that.in june-july-aug as per instruction i applied online and got the acknowledgment however emi was bounce month on month. I only assumed that bank will make necessary corrections and i keep sending mails to customer care regarding the issues.
                          Aug was really shocking month for me as ‘bank recovery agents’ comes to my house to collect emis without any calls and appointments. I did write to sr. Management team regarding such unethical act however did not get any proper solution.
                          Once again today; 22nd sept recovery guy comes to my house asking for payment.
                          What kind of moratorium was offered?? Is it for people who suffered job loss or salary deduction or for harassing people?
                          I need proper advice on ‘whom to approach’ and ‘how do i get refund of bounce charges’ and ensuring there is no cibil impact due to bank mess-ups.

                            ipo mandate amount blocked but not released

                            Ipo applied : happiest minds
                            Application method : upi mandate through icici bank
                            Blocked amount : 14960

                            Issue: money is not being released by bank which was blocked for ipo mandate request

                            I have applied for happiest minds ipo and given upi mandate through icici bank. As per the ipo dead lines if the shares are not allocated the money should be released on 15th of september in my case the shares...

                            Dear sir,
                            I have icici bank account visa debit card. I go to punjab national bank's obc atm and widraw 10000 rs and transportation successful but in second one transaction is rs. Of 9500 is not despens the cash but money deducted from my account and message comes on my mobile phone.
                            I go to punjab national bank's manager and tell them full detail about transaction failure or money deducted from my account he said your money reverse in 24 hour but my money is not refunded till now.
                            So please help me and reverse my money.

                                I am fully disappointed with this bank.
                                Bank manager is making us upset to operate account.

                                After making several requests to bank manager to apply miller card, he makes fool o[censored]s and every time he says it's applied. But he applied it by today.

                                    Without any notification from the icici bank, i have been charged 590 + 110 rupees charged without my knowledge. This happened not just once, but twice.

                                    I was keeping the amount for emergency purpose and that too it was borrowed money.

                                    Reverse the payment to my account like the way it was debited from my bank account.

                                      I hold my icici bank account in surat athwalines branch. I use irctc website to book my railway tickets. I booked 4 tickets in this month, 2 on 10th september, 1 on 13th september and 1 on 14th september. Icici bank levied additional surcharge as following.

                                      16/09/2020 surcharge dt:14/09/20 mcc 4112 dr. 65.70
                                      15/09/2020 surcharge dt:13/09/20 mcc 4112 dr. 64.27
                                      14/09/2020 surcharge dt:10/09/20 mcc 4112 dr. 40.69
                                      14/09/2020 surcharge dt:10/09/20 mcc 4112 dr. 4.53

                                      I have been using irctc for booking my online tickets for a few years now, but this is for the first time any such surcharge is levied. Please refund my money. Thanks!
