Shocked to find that some consumer loan taken by me from ICICI bank was showing outstanding since 2003. Apparently, one cheque EMI worth Rs 3150 only bounced back then and due to that penalty, interest etc was added and amount came to Rs. 18, 922. No letter, communication or call was made to make aware of this for 18 years!
In any case, now that I was settled the full amount on 9th August 2022 and also received no dues certificate, the CIBIL report has not been updated and also in spite of my dispute being raised on CIBIL this has not been rectified.
ICICI Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
