A few months back I applied for a credit card via amazon linked with ICICI bank, I have been with all legal documentation part & it was completed from my side. While processing the documentation part there was some technical error & it was not processed further & I did not any confirmation regarding the same, I thought to let it be & give up on that. After a few days, I got a call from ICICI bank saying can you confirm the delivery address for the credit card, Do you need it to your office address or your home address?
I have confirmed saying please deliver the card to my HOME address only as I am working from my home this day & my office address is Noida where I will not be able to collect it.
There was an executive from the bank who visited my home address as I was not available at the location my aunt called me & passed the call to the respective person, He said I am from ICICI bank & am here to verify your home address.
In the evening I got another call from the bank saying was there any executive to verify your address today. I replied saying that yes there was one executive who have verified the address in the noon & she asked me, Did they you for tea or water? (kya uhone chai pani manage that ? ) I replied I was not there at my home at that time so I am unable to answer you, I have to confirm that. She said Thank you & disconnected the call.
Then I got a message that your application is denied.
So, here is my concern you should have asked me for the relevant document or scheduled a time so that I might have helped the team with the process.
I would like to know an explanation for the rejection as it will be reflected on my CIBIl profile where it has no relevancy for the same. I request to revoke the rejection or help me with a resolution.

I was contacted by the so called "Team Support", a man going by the number +91 95593 59272 and he made me do a Cardless Cash Withdrawal from my imobile app saying that it was a voucher code and even made me give an OTP. Please do not make the same mistake as I did and give anybody your OTP, even if they claim to be from the ICICI bank. They withdrew Rs. 4500 and told me it was a bank server error and that I would get my money credited back in an hour, but it truly is all a scam. I will be reporting this to the bank officials at the earliest and I shall make sure whoever did this pays the price.
