I have booked e_ticket in the train no 2910 bdts
garib rath having PNR No [protected] through tansaction
id [protected] on 03/04/2008 at 06:46:15 am from H
Nizamuddin(NZM) to Bandra Terminus boarding at H
nizamuddin in ladies quota for the journey on 18th
june 2008 .The details of passengers is given below

but railways has cancelled the above train due to
Gujar agaitation at State of Rajashthan. it is very
much rgrteted that till to to date Indian Railways

      Dear Sir,
      I would like to bring to your attetion that the water bottels are sold at a higher price by the irctc agents in trains and in railway stations.the actual price of the bottle is 10 Rupees but the bottles are sold anywhere between 12-15 Rupees.i request the authourities to look into this matter and check the price of the eatables and consumables sold by the agents in trains and in railway stations.

        I had booked an AC Chair car ticket through IRCTC website (PNR [protected], transaction id:[protected]) on train no. 2075 (Jan Shathabdi) on 22/10/2008 from Ernakulam Jn to Trivandrum Central. At the time of booking the status was waiting list 7. On 22/10/2008, I approached the TTR of Coach C1 of train 2075 and checked the status of my ticket. He had some other travellers around him who wanted an upgrade from Second seating coaches. He made a motion of going through his sheets and told me that the ticket has been cancelled. I could not believe this since I had not cancelled the ticket. He was not ready to listen to me and very rudely said that he do not have the time to explain to me since he was seeing this situation everyday and asked me to get out of the train. I had no choice since the train was about to leave but to get out of the train. Subsequently I got a ticket in the Nethravati express and proceeded with the journey. Today when I checked the PNR status, I came to know that my ticket was allotted seat number 33 in Coach C1. I don't know the name of the TTR but I am sure you can easily locate it since he was the TTR on duty in Coach C1 of Train 2075 on 22/10/2008. I firmly believe that he had sold my seat to some passenger taking a bribe. Please investigate and arrange to refund my ticket cost of Rs.300.

        You could have called the customer service to get the update on your PNR Status. Now we can not change what has happened. Once you have not used your ticket you can very claim your money by filing a request in File TDR in irctc.co.in.

          this is in ref to a ticket booked on[protected], journey date:13/4/2010, :ticket transaction ID: [protected], .PNR no. : [protected],
          for the amount of Rs. 3360/-, for the journey of 5 people,

          since the ticket was in waiting till the preparation of chart and after preparation of chart out of the five only one pessenger was allotted seat and the remaining 4 were in waiting,
          so no one boarded the train and i filed a TDR for the same within 24 hours of the train journey , and my TDR is still under process

          can you please let me know when will i get the refund for the four tickets that were in waiting even after chart preparation.

            I booked e-ticket through IRCTC website as follows Pnr Number[protected]Transaction ID[protected] Train No2073Train NameBBS JAN SHATABD From Station KHARAGPUR JN(KGP)To StationBHUBANESWAR(BBS) Date07/10/2008Class2S But when, I reached station, I found no such Train is plying for last 4 months( i.e 17th June, 2008 onwards). Which compelled me to hire taxi on double raters. and I lost Rs. 6, 000 for travelling from kharagpur to Bhubaneswar apart from mental and physical harassment. As I understand from other passengers and sources, IRCTC Ltd. is looting passengers by making bookings on fake trains and looting Rs.10 per passenger as Internet Service Charges with the help of corrupt officials of Indian Railways. This way the IRCTC ltd. might have looted crores of rupees till now. Therefore there is need of hour to stop them to do so and appropriate compensation should be given to passengers. I have collected sufficient proof for the same.

              WHY DO I ALWAYS GET TOILET-SIDE BAD BERTH(s) EVEN IF THERE ARE MANY MANY TICKETS AVAILABLE????

              it happened too many times: that there are many many tickets and i am getting toilet-side bad ticket(s). any time, every time.WHY???

              WHY CANNOT IRCTC ALLOTT TICKETS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE COACH TOWARDS BOTH SIDES ?????

              WHY PEOPLE WHO COME FIRST GET BAD SEATS???????

              i booked a ticket for my daughter in bhubaneswar-hatia garib rath. there were 300 tickets available. my daughter is female 19...WHY DID I GET BERTH NO 70????????? every time?????? why cannot IRCTC program THEIR software properly that a young lady gets an inner berth when there are SO MANY VACANCIES ???????

              Just uncheck the checkbox for 'Auto Upgradation' (Default Checked) which is present in online application form.

              Well u must give no side berth as ur presference though n don't forget to uncheck 'Auto Upgradation' .

              Don't just blame IRCTC for its working use commonsense it roxxx.

                It’s a matter of shame for IRCTC that even after so many years of operations, you’ll are not able to service passengers during peak seasons as most of them like me and many others go without rail tickets even after Tatkal during Diwali/summer/winter holidays.

                It’s a shame and failure of IRCTC completely that you’ll fall prey to the touts of the railways who are more efficient than your system which just cannot provide tickets. Touts pay railway ticket bookers and get their tickets inside Railway stations before 810 and within 5 mins all tickets as we just wait like fools on your incompetent system. Every time it gets stuck on the payment page as even 100 tickets are washed off in minutes

                I have been crying foul since 3 yrs now, but you’ll just do not care to make some quota with the Rail autorities. Last 3 days I have been trying for tatkal system for my ailing mother and have just failed to get her tickets from Mumbai to Hyderabad, thanks to the touts who are more efficient to fool the system itself.

                Railways do not launch special trains either to clear the rush. Really we live in a fools inefficient system, run by useless inefficient people.

                  E ticket booking with break of journey

                  Hello,

                  Kinldy clarify as to how a ticket with a break of journey provision can be booked through your IRCTC. The pop up window does not allow me to select reservation up to a station short of the desination to effect a break of journy (as specified in the break of journey rules). Can you do something to enable me to do that, which I can opt by booking at a Railway reservation centre.

                  We visited from Ludhiana to Tirupati in 3A class by Navyug Express train No. 6688. The date of Journey was 10-Oct-2008. Our PNR No. is [protected] and transaction ID is [protected].I booked this ticket by IRCTCs e-Ticketing Service. After booking the IRCTC delivered a ticket on my e-mail and I taken the printout of that ticket. When we reached at Tirupati station on 12th morning, a lady staff member demands the ticket to see and we shown the ticket and ID card but on that time she was started to say that this ticket is wrong, here is not mentioned the ID card no.. We were requesting to her that this ticket is supplied by IRCTC and you see your record and according to record we are showing the ID card. But she was not listening any thing and some other staff members who were available on duty on that time they were also supporting to her. She was using very rough language. She wasted our 2.30 hours and disturbed us mentally very much. We tries to convince her by many type of efforts, we shows the messages on our mobile sent by railway, we was showing the another ticket on our laptop but she was not ready to see any thing. In mean time we sees that she was doing like this and by another ways with the lot of passengers. It is very bad. I want a good punishment for her.

                  but when ticket checker comes he is asking id card
                  Here if you reserve ticket from railway station thseydont ask id card but if you book it from irctc why they need id card ?

                    It is a surprise that on cancellation of the train due to Railway's internal policy, rather than being compensated for the inconvenience caused, Passengers have to wait for more than 3 months to get the refund( as stated by the IRCTC customer care, Reading the Policy of Refund)
                    Ajmer shatabadi was cancelled due to Gujjar's Voilance in Rajasthan on 02/06/2008 and to get the refund I had to write 3 times to IRCTC & wait for 109 days and finally got the return on 21/09/2008.

                    On 7th of December 08, My train was cancelled for Allahabad Journey & my coach was also not attached with the train.

                    Finally I have to cancalle my trip to Allahabad & i was return back to Kolkata.

                    I have filed my TDR right in the morning by searching a caffe.But after 96 days, I am neither receiveing my money in the bank nor any reply by mail.This is my 4th mail to IRCTC.

                    I am booking 8-10 tickets for my journey in each & every month.But now I am affraid about the situation.

                      I had booked a railway ticket on August 2nd PNR PNR - [protected]. I had sent an email to IRCTC on [protected]@irctc.co.in on August 4th and August 7th asking them to cancel the full ticket. They never responded to me and when I called them after the journey date they told me they can only give me 50% of the refund as the journey date has passed and they have not received my emails.

                      This is completely unfair treatment.

                      I was trying to get a seat reserved in the train no. 4665 but in vain. I checked my sbi accout no.[protected].I Found that Rs. 232.00 have been deducted please refund the sum of Rupees to me.

                      I was trying to find train between Ahmedabad(GUjarat) to Bhavnagar(Gujarat).

                      They will provide train number 9271 for that.
                      In fact the train number is 2971.

                      The Same Mistake for Bhavnagar(Gujarat) to Bandra Teminus(Maharastra).
                      The site shows the number 9272 instead of 2972.

                      I think it is a Data Entry mistake. So change it as soon as possible.

                      i wish to get sbi railway credit card, for this purpose that how can i get same i sent email to address quoted by irctc but i could not get any response yet for one and half month.
                      I booked a railway on 06.02.2011, PNR No.[protected] & transaction No.[protected].Travelling date 14.02.2007.All of the ticket is correct but due my mistake one passenger of the ticket is incorrect(Mistake) i.e.the Sl.No. 5., Name of the passenger is SHYAMALI MAJUMDE is shown a MALE but Originally she is a female.                       Problem during login the irctc website.

                      Captcha given during login time is not so clear.i face problem during login, even if I input correct captcha, it becomes wrong and have to try again.this takes a lot of time and irritates too much.Kindly workout on this issue.

                        I have cancelled a flight ticket on 1st August 2012 booked on IRCTC under flights section. The transaction ID for the flight booking is [protected].
                        But still I am not refunded the respective amount. Now every time I enquire IRCTC helpline they tell me to wait 3-8 working days. I am not able to configure what is the problem.

                          I am sorry to say this is another typical government facilities, like all others this has no reliability at all.

                          since yesterday i am trying to book a ticket online and suddenly at any stage of booking "service unavailable" message pops up.

                          is IRCTC doing anything on this? as this is a frequent problem with website due to many connected users.

                          Does authorities understand how important it could be for someone to book tickets.? if facilities are there then proper functioning is primary responsibility.

                            i got e-ticket duly confirmed no. [protected] with transaction ID [protected]. I am not able to digest that without getting the money how can thay confirm the ticket. Secondly more over after confirnation they have cancelled my ticket without any inforamtion. i have to travel tomorrow with my family and due to unavailabilty of ticket i am not able to travel. who is responsible for this harrasment ??????????

                            Today (5/01/2011) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 07115 Hyd Qln Exp from secunderabad station to ernakulan town boarding on 7/01/2011 for v badresham. Unfortunately after the payment was made through andhrabank payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

                            This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. i got a balance deducted message from my account to my mobile..
                            Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

                              I have booked a ticket PNR[protected], Transaction ID [protected] from Duvidha(DVD) to Howrah(HWH) by 8646 on 20-Jun-2008. Due to flood in Orissa, 8646 East Coast Express was short terminated at Vizag. Hence I could not make the journey.

                              I was informed that I will be eligible for full refund as I had not made the journey. But I was not able to cancel the ticket online as it stated Charting Done.

                              I have forwarded the request of cancellation to [protected]@irctc.co.in and got a prompt reply of refund within 90 days.

                              More than 90 days are over, I have still not received the refund. Inspite of repeated mail to irctc no response is received till date.

                              IRCTC is making fool to the people.

                                IRCTC — Incorrect Debits

                                On 1st January 2009, I tried to book two tickets. After about 5 or 6 attempts, I booked two tickets. My credit card however was charged 4 times, out of which IRCTC reversed 1 transaction. There's still one transaction pending.

                                I have sent them 4 emails on this issue and not a single email response has come through. I have also called them more than 20 times and spoken to about 6 different people when I got through. Most of the reps were indifferent to my issue and did not even appear to properly listen to what I was saying. They don't even have records of my previous calls and I am forced to explain my problem over and over again to the reps that cannot understand a bit of English.

                                As expected, there's no escalation process for me to use as well.

                                    I could not cancel my wl tatkal ticket pnr no : [protected] from cstm to lucknow just because the website was under maintenance. I have lost rs 600/= due to negligence on irctc part. Cant they maintain there website during 11.30 pm to 5.00 am.                                     I would like to share my bad experience with IRCTC (online ticket booking website).

                                    I have booked my tickets against PNR [protected] on 23rd December, 2008 but after a day on 25th Dec, 2008 I tried to cancel my tickets with immediate effect & sent a mail on [protected]@irctc.co.in as suggest by an executive on phone.

                                    Why should i go for TDR processing when i am using your service within all deadlines and have cancelled the tickets before 24hours?

                                    This is to inform you that the (PNR: [protected]) from NDLS TO MGS booked for 21st December 2008 was cancelled on same date by me and the TDR which was filed on 24/12/08, it has been 5 months and still the refund money has not been refunded to my account. So kindly look into the matter and please get the problem resolved.

                                    I had trying to purchase Rail ticket through my IRCTC ID on 2nd Sep morning.

                                    But after completing payment, not receive any e ticket from IRCTC, only received message from IRCTC that my above both transaction was failed. I am surprised to see my bank statement that above amount already deducted from my Account for above failed transaction.
                                    I am already sending my Bank A/C statement several time before to IRCTC. but not yet receive any responses from IRCTC end. Will you please explain how its happened ? Who will be responsible for this fraud type transuction?Why I am loosing money/time?
                                    I would like to request you please see the matter seriously and do the needful to refund my money at my account as early as possible.

                                    i have booked a ticket on 08-09-10 from vijayawada to secunderabad (NS HYDERABAD EXP) through IRCTC .After completion of process an amount of 168/- has been deducted from my account but i didn't get the ticket .so what i have to do to get money back to my Andhra Bank account , because if server problem occurs na what we can do

                                    I booked one ticket from Trivandrum to Ernakulam (Train no 12082) on 15/06/2015 ON THE IRCTC connect ( android application ) but the transaction done but ive didn&#039;t get my tickets due to some network problem.                                     When in need I try to book a e-ticket the authentic web site always under maintenance. trouble causes for e-booking. do the needful. what is the use of web site which is alwyas under repair or under maintenance.
