I am currently travelling from Jabalpur to Mumbai - LTT by Train No.1066 and this mail is wrritten from train itself.

after boarding 1066 around 11.30 am today it took me more then 3 hours to find a attendend who was missing from the compartment with the help of ticket collector.

His name is R P Singh reports to Thane station dosent even carry a valid ID card issued from railways.

Very unproffessional attitude when asked was told he was having his luch since last 2 hours.
and he is unable to provide Bedding and bed sheets to me or anyone nothing left in inventory.

The i asked for pantry supervisor who came his name Tufhel Khan reporting to Dadar station railway ID no.A328583

He is also not in a position to answer why they are not having enough bedding sets for passengers. He says they are not being provided with enough material when they start for new journey.

I would like to complaint against this unproffesional attitude and negligance of duty.

and would like to know about the nesessarry actions taken against the same.

I am currently travelling from Ghty to New Delhi by Train No.14055 and Railway alloted to me seat no 49, 50 in B-3 but ID lost during the travelling. TT chacked my ID and not found . I requested to TT that my ID is lost but TT not agreed . During the checking ATM Card show by me but TT FINED ME two Ticket .

I would like to complain against the above TT and kindly refund my money PNR No [protected]

    I had booked three tickets on Goa Express (04.11.08), (PNR [protected]), which were wait listed at the time of e-booking. On the day of departure I found that none of them were confirmed. I was told that the money will be refunded automatically to my bank account.
    There has been no response from irctc till now. All my e-mails to them go unheeded. Their Delhi no. which is not even toll free is never picked up and when they do, another telephone no. is given which again is never answered.
    Could anyone in the Railways stand up and take action?

    I had booked a e ticket for train no 2126, Pragati express ( Pune - CSTM ) on 10th Dec.2009 which was waitlisted ( PNR No.[protected] dt 13.12.09 ) and was not confirmed. When I boarded the train in General unreserved compartment, TT told me to buy New ticket, since WL ticket does not hold good for travelling !!!
    I had NO option than to buy new ticket in a hurry and board the train. If there is any rule like this, it must be scrapped at once.
    It's surprising that when I am having WL ticket, why should I buy new ticket ?
    I want to know whether WL ticket is valid OR not in such a case ?
    Waitlisted e ticket not taken as valid ticket to journey ..! ! !
    I was travelling through my e ticket from Pune to Mumbai by Pragati express (No 2126). My PNR no was 852 .5091423 dt 13.12.09
    I was having a waitlisted ticket with waiting no 34 in Second sitting class.
    When TTE approached me, he told me that the W/L e ticket is not valid and I need to get the new ticket with the dues.
    He took bribe from me for the allotment of the seat that too in the sitting coach. I am a women of 65 Years age .
    IRCTC should write it clearly on the ticket that the waitlisted ticket is not valid for journey morever if the ticket is not valid they should not issue the waitlisted tickets.
    Also, why one should buy New ticket again standing in Queue ?
    This doubles the IRCTC work as well as inconvenience to passengers. This rule is totally Funny, Illogical and disheartning...!!! It is No where indicated in IRCTC web site, How many days in advance one can buy Unreserved ticket.

    IRCTC has one of the worst service u can imagine in your wildest dreams. Absolutely pathetic, i had some problems and all the nos showing in the website has no answer nor are the emails ever replied. We need to drag them to the consumer court for this service not to speak of there catering services its just disgusting to eat such unclean and unhigenic food.
    Same with the linen provided to the passengers in AC its dirty better they dont supply they charge us and provide the same linen which the earlier passenger used, disgusting.

    even after the inconvenience of not confirmation of ticket, they are taking the money also from people. is it the right things

      I have made two transactions on 8-11-08 as per the detail below but my account has been debited thrice of Rs 2271 each by irctc side. The actual amount to be debited was of Rs 2271 each for the two transactions i made on 8-11-08 as per the detail below but it has been debited thrice from my acoount on 8-11-08 . please look after this matter and cancel on one transaction of Rs 2271 which has been iilegally made by irctc.The two transactions done by me on 8-11-08 are as follows.

      i have booked a e ticket from khurda road to ahmedabad on 14 feb 11. amount of 1427/ has been deducted from my SBI saving a/c, but no ERS has come out/ no ticket has been booked. when i checked my banking transaction it shows, REF.           deducted more money on cancellation of e ticket
          i booked the e ticket of my uncle from irctc.com
          from H NIZAMUDDIN(NZM) to ERANAKULAM JN(ERS) in tatkal for the date 6/11/2006

          but due to some prob i have to cancel e ticket on 3/11/06

          the ticket was costing Rs1958
          but they just refunded me only Rs 414

          it is written in there cancellation procedure that only 25%will be deducted for the cancellation of e ticket

          Your ticket was in Tatkal quota. read the rules for tatkal refund carefully.
          YOUR TICKET WAS IN TATKAL IN THIS CONNECTION WITH IN 24 HRS YOU WILL DEDUCTED 25% BUT AFTER 24 HRS YOU WILL GET ONLY 25% OF THAT OK I THINK I AM VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS I AM 100% SURE ABOUT THIS ISSUE

            i went to see off my relative who was going to travel by 2204 Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath on 2.11.2008. At platform no.3 of New Delhi railway station (where the train was to come, but later arrived on platform no.2), an IRCTC vendor shop no.3, sold me kurkure with MRP Rs. 20 in Rs.24. After lots of pursuation, he was ready to give me the kurkure for Rs.22. Rs.2 more than the MRP. It may be appreciated that such action of the vendor on the Railway station give a bad name to the Railways and should not be tolerated. Even after telling him that i am a railway man, he didn't hear and told me that this cannot be given less than Rs.22.

            i would like to request the authority to look into the matter and take corrective measures so that the name of the august organisation like railway may not get tarnished in the eyes of public.

            i want to here from you early.

              respected sir,
              i was travelling with my e-ticket dated on 25/10/2008 via train no. 2416
              (PNR-[protected]) that was waitlisted but assured by my booking agent MR. ANUP MALHOTRA, MALHOTRA CONSULTANCY, 18/2 LOWER GROUND FLOOR, OLD RAJINDER NAGAR, NEW DELHI, -110060, PHONE NO. [protected], [protected]. that atleast i can travel if waitlisted e-ticket is not cleared. but TTE didn"t allowed me for even travelling. when i talked to the agent, he said u need original ticket to cancel. and when i reached there he is not refunding the money. so kindally help me out.

              How do I book a break journey ticket on line; and make onward journey to final de4stination. The query generated should be:
              book ticket; book circular book break break journey at onward journey

              FACILITY TO CHOOSE REGULAR TICKET; OR CIRCULAR TICKET; OR BREAK JOURNEY TICKET FOR ONLINE RESERVATION

              Some software programme arrangement should be made to enable break journey ticket reservation and reservation for onward journey up to two break journey upto maximum 4 days. Onward journey by any train with reservation, subject to availability of seats/berths or travel by general compartment in case of non availability of reserved accommodation for onward journey after break journey.

              sUBRAMANIAN.c — Railway unused reservation ticket reimbursement

              This has referecne to my claim of 3 tier A/c PNR ticekt NO.[protected] on 2617 mangala express from Trichur to Kalyan on 20.11.2010. The ticket no. TDR010595. The ticket did not confirma and had to cancell at Trichur station and the same has been sent to Trivandrum. After 2 months I received a letter from trichu that the same has been sent to Mumbai CST for reimbursement It is more than 5 months that I have not got the reimbursement. I am keep on paying the credit card payment every moinths with 48 percent interest. Why the reailway is delaying my payment. I must get the payment with the interest I paid to the crdedit card. Kindly help me in this regard.

                I have booked e_ticket in the train no 2910 bdts

                id [protected] on 03/04/2008 at 06:46:15 am from H
                Nizamuddin(NZM) to Bandra Terminus boarding at H
                nizamuddin in ladies quota for the journey on 18th
                june 2008 .The details of passengers is given below

                but railways has cancelled the above train due to

                    I would like to bring to your attetion that the water bottels are sold at a higher price by the irctc agents in trains and in railway stations.the actual price of the bottle is 10 Rupees but the bottles are sold anywhere between 12-15 Rupees.i request the authourities to look into this matter and check the price of the eatables and consumables sold by the agents in trains and in railway stations.

                      I had booked an AC Chair car ticket through IRCTC website (PNR [protected], transaction id:[protected]) on train no. 2075 (Jan Shathabdi) on 22/10/2008 from Ernakulam Jn to Trivandrum Central. At the time of booking the status was waiting list 7. On 22/10/2008, I approached the TTR of Coach C1 of train 2075 and checked the status of my ticket. He had some other travellers around him who wanted an upgrade from Second seating coaches. He made a motion of going through his sheets and told me that the ticket has been cancelled. I could not believe this since I had not cancelled the ticket. He was not ready to listen to me and very rudely said that he do not have the time to explain to me since he was seeing this situation everyday and asked me to get out of the train. I had no choice since the train was about to leave but to get out of the train. Subsequently I got a ticket in the Nethravati express and proceeded with the journey. Today when I checked the PNR status, I came to know that my ticket was allotted seat number 33 in Coach C1. I don't know the name of the TTR but I am sure you can easily locate it since he was the TTR on duty in Coach C1 of Train 2075 on 22/10/2008. I firmly believe that he had sold my seat to some passenger taking a bribe. Please investigate and arrange to refund my ticket cost of Rs.300.

                      You could have called the customer service to get the update on your PNR Status. Now we can not change what has happened. Once you have not used your ticket you can very claim your money by filing a request in File TDR in irctc.co.in.

Which compelled me to hire taxi on double raters. and I lost Rs. 6, 000 for travelling from kharagpur to Bhubaneswar apart from mental and physical harassment. As I understand from other passengers and sources, IRCTC Ltd. is looting passengers by making bookings on fake trains and looting Rs.10 per passenger as Internet Service Charges with the help of corrupt officials of Indian Railways. This way the IRCTC ltd. might have looted crores of rupees till now. Therefore there is need of hour to stop them to do so and appropriate compensation should be given to passengers. I have collected sufficient proof for the same.

                              It’s a matter of shame for IRCTC that even after so many years of operations, you’ll are not able to service passengers during peak seasons as most of them like me and many others go without rail tickets even after Tatkal during Diwali/summer/winter holidays.

                              It’s a shame and failure of IRCTC completely that you’ll fall prey to the touts of the railways who are more efficient than your system which just cannot provide tickets. Touts pay railway ticket bookers and get their tickets inside Railway stations before 810 and within 5 mins all tickets as we just wait like fools on your incompetent system. Every time it gets stuck on the payment page as even 100 tickets are washed off in minutes

                              I have been crying foul since 3 yrs now, but you’ll just do not care to make some quota with the Rail autorities. Last 3 days I have been trying for tatkal system for my ailing mother and have just failed to get her tickets from Mumbai to Hyderabad, thanks to the touts who are more efficient to fool the system itself.

                              Railways do not launch special trains either to clear the rush. Really we live in a fools inefficient system, run by useless inefficient people.

                                E ticket booking with break of journey

                                Hello,

                                Kinldy clarify as to how a ticket with a break of journey provision can be booked through your IRCTC. The pop up window does not allow me to select reservation up to a station short of the desination to effect a break of journy (as specified in the break of journey rules). Can you do something to enable me to do that, which I can opt by booking at a Railway reservation centre.

                                We visited from Ludhiana to Tirupati in 3A class by Navyug Express train No. 6688. The date of Journey was 10-Oct-2008. Our PNR No. is [protected] and transaction ID is [protected].I booked this ticket by IRCTCs e-Ticketing Service. After booking the IRCTC delivered a ticket on my e-mail and I taken the printout of that ticket. When we reached at Tirupati station on 12th morning, a lady staff member demands the ticket to see and we shown the ticket and ID card but on that time she was started to say that this ticket is wrong, here is not mentioned the ID card no.. We were requesting to her that this ticket is supplied by IRCTC and you see your record and according to record we are showing the ID card. But she was not listening any thing and some other staff members who were available on duty on that time they were also supporting to her. She was using very rough language. She wasted our 2.30 hours and disturbed us mentally very much. We tries to convince her by many type of efforts, we shows the messages on our mobile sent by railway, we was showing the another ticket on our laptop but she was not ready to see any thing. In mean time we sees that she was doing like this and by another ways with the lot of passengers. It is very bad. I want a good punishment for her.

                                  It is a surprise that on cancellation of the train due to Railway's internal policy, rather than being compensated for the inconvenience caused, Passengers have to wait for more than 3 months to get the refund( as stated by the IRCTC customer care, Reading the Policy of Refund)
                                  Ajmer shatabadi was cancelled due to Gujjar's Voilance in Rajasthan on 02/06/2008 and to get the refund I had to write 3 times to IRCTC & wait for 109 days and finally got the return on 21/09/2008.

                                    I had booked a railway ticket on August 2nd PNR PNR - [protected]. I had sent an email to IRCTC on [protected]@irctc.co.in on August 4th and August 7th asking them to cancel the full ticket. They never responded to me and when I called them after the journey date they told me they can only give me 50% of the refund as the journey date has passed and they have not received my emails.

                                    This is completely unfair treatment.

                                    i, ashok mangtani, sr citizen, tried to book two tickets, from thane to bangalore cy jn, on 19th dec 2011, by coimbatore express train, for 24th jan 2012, after booking, i was asked to make payments, i completed the formalities for making payments, through my debit card. after some time i got the message on my mobile, that a sum of rupees 447 was debited to my account, may be rupees 437 for my two tickets, plus rupee 10 may be charges for debit card. after, going through the history in irctc, i could not find any tickets. please look in to the matter. if the reservation is done, then please let me know on my email id i.e. [protected]@gmail.com or on my mobile no [protected], my res. address is given as under, ashok mangtani, 1802 mayflower, hirahandani meadows, thane, maharashtra, if the reservaion is not done, then please credit the refund amount to my debit card account.
                                    while in the middle of the payment, link was lost (sbi debit) and fair money was deducted from the account but the ticket was not booked . the status in the " refund ticket " reads that the refung status is unknown ... pnr no is [protected], transaction id [protected]

                                    I booked a ticket PNR [protected] on 12/08/2014 & cancelled it on 17/08/2014. Today is 21/08/2014, still I did not received the amount back in my account.

                                    Problem during login the irctc website.

                                    Captcha given during login time is not so clear.i face problem during login, even if I input correct captcha, it becomes wrong and have to try again.this takes a lot of time and irritates too much.Kindly workout on this issue.
