I was travelling from MUMBAI to DELHI dated 15th DEC 22 by Indigo Airlines.. I was about to carry my bag in cabin. But at the gate of Air craft(During final Boarding), Indigo staff has collected my bag & said the air craft is full & there are many hand baggage are there with other co passengers, so they are requesting all of them to give luggage to them & that will hand over to us on the luggage belt at Delhi Airport.

When i took my bag from the belt at Delhi Airport, it was found broken ( not only damage), its broken. Immediately i went to Indigo Luggage counter & tried to file a complaint. But the Individual from Indigo (Name Mr Rahul) has offered me only Rs. 2500/-. which i refused to accept because my bag current cost is Rs. 11000/-. He didnt file my complaint & ask to write an Email, If I need actual compensation or better compensation, which he offered me & didnt filed my official complain.

After that I have sent an email to Indigo Customer care & they are offering only Rs. 2450 & refused to offer anything More.

I need help from the Consumer Complaint forum. Any airlines shd not take customers for granted, if the customer faced problem during travelling by their airlines.
There are so many complaints are coming from the consumers about their luggage has been broken or mishandles by aircraft staff & rude behavior when consumer complain about the same.

Airlines are charging Ticket Rates as per the Demand & Supply. They charge very heavy during each Indian Festival, they also take additional charge for Selective Seats, they charge very high when they provide foods inside aircraft. They also charge different ticket higher charges as per the seats are getting full.

When airline company has this facility to charge customers then consumers should have full rights to get full compensation, when we face problem from the Airline side.

    I had a booked a flight (6E 2403, 6E 317) from Delhi to Mangalore with a layover at Bangalore for the day 6/12/2022 and the flight departure was at 0700 hrs. I had booked 9 days prior to the departure day. I woke up at 3:30, kept trying to book a cab for like one hour and paid 600 rupees to get to the airport but when I was finally checking in baggage, they were delaying it and started discussing among themselves and asked me if I would like a direct flight to Mangalore from Delhi (6E 6303) at 1415 hrs. I was confused as to why are they asking me this l, so asked the lady why. Apparently indigo had overbooked the first flight of my journey and some international flight had landed and some of its passengers were headed to Bangalore. There were more o[censored]s who were asked to change our flights. I gave it a thought but refused because I had like 8 more hours to wait if I were to say yes and I was asked a day before or even few more hours earlier before I booked a cab, then happily would have agreed and left for the airport at appropriate time and took the metro to save money as I only had one trolley bag and a tote. But then she replied that there are no seats. She promised me free meal and vouchers. It was a 3 hour flight to Mangalore so I didnt get hungry and nor did they offer any meal to me. Earlier when I had booked my flight there were no direct flights to Mangalore. I don't care for that but the vouchers that she spoke about are nowhere to be seen. I have travelled quite a bit this year with indigo but this is the second inconvenience they have dawned me with. Earlier in July, my connecting flight from Delhi to Udaipur got cancelled and had skip my sleep for that night as my flight was in the evening the next day. I have checked my mail and the indigo account but can't seem to find those vouchers.

          I have travelled in indigo 6E 6893 Darbhanga-Kolkata flight at 13:55 pm yesterday (13rd Dec, 2022) and then indigo 6E 077 Kolkata-BKK flight at 19:45 pm yesterday (13rd Dec, 2022). I had one jewelry, some cash (inside a book), and personal belongings in my check-in luggage. I got the luggage back after landing in Kolkata but didn’t notice its lock (Blue plastic type which airlines had put onto my luggage in Darbhanga). I re-checked in my luggage in Kolkata and got the luggage in BKK airport at 2:00 am (14th dec.2022). Once I was home in Thailand, I found out that someone opened the bag and stole the jewelry mentioned while the other valuables items are intact. It has obviously been done by either airport authorities or indigo employees and if they have to blame someone else for this act it would in turn prove their worst security for customer's belongings. I can't think of anything more unprofessional than this. We pay a full amount and board the flight being relieved of our worries of the luggage which supposedly is been taken care by the airlines. I believe for such a hideous act, even a full compensation does not suffice. Please provide me a solution to this before I could take any further action against it. This is so not acceptable to me. Looking out for a helping hand.!!

          I have travelled in Indigo 6E 6067 (A320) on 29th Jan 2023 from Bangalore to Hyderabad with Conformation # CJIIFL. Upon opening my Bags, I found some of my items missing in my check in bag. This is unacceptable and tarnishes your Image. Failure of protecting its customers property despite Indigo being one of the leading airlines of the country shows that the customer is not indigo airlines' priority.

            On 12/12/2022, I travelled with Indigo. When I reached home, I saw that the lock on my luggage bag was broken. And was not informed regarding the same.

            This is a matter of privacy.

              I was travelling in flight 6E6214 on 11 Dec (9.45am) and lost my earring on the flight seat no.25B. It would be really helpful if the indigo staff could find it and return it to me.

                I reached at airport at 3 am I go through the process of wecheck in and at the last stage they said that your boarding pass is showing error they didn't let me take my flight one of the members of crpf cancelled my ticket I suffered a great loss I asked for rebooking they asked for additional cost

                  I tried to make a booking using the indigo site and when finalizing my booking there was an error that came up and didn’t allow me to book I thought it was maybe my card so I tried another card for the message to come up again. After that I booked the flights from another airlines. Later I received a message saying that the payment from the first card went through and the other card too so I have been charged double for the flights and can’t get through to anyone to help resolve this issue. I managed to cancel one of the flights and I was charged over £80 I also never received any email confirmation or any booking reference email if wasn’t for the card text message confirming the transaction.

                    I went to book a flight and an error page at the end of the process came up saying it did not work so I used another card to book the flight and once again it said it did not work. After I made the two booking later or it came through saying it worked and took two booking off me and now I can’t find a way to get my money back for the companies own mistakes with the misleading error page! After that I could cancel one of the bookings and I was charged over £80 I also never got any email confirmation not any confirmation number if wasn’t the card text message.

                        While my travel from Jammu to Hyderabad via 6E5015, PNR KQMFWG 06 Dec2022 and 6E2004 PNR KQMFWG I received damaged briefcase (American Tourister black trolly) at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. While asking our person I have been told by Mr. Md. Sami and Executive manager Mr Kuldeep that I will get one voucher as compensation to have free meal on my next journey by Indigo airlines.
                        Sir, I request for same briefcase as replacement which was made because of the mishandling by your staff. I dont want any free meal as compensation.

                          On 3rd December 2022, I submit checked baggage at indigo counter .after 30 minutes I got call from indigo staff that power bank found in your bag, I go with him and open suitcase and remove powerbank . After I reach home I found that cash 70k stolen from my checked baggage

                            I had received a message from shine app regarding job of data entry operator. There was a hr named vihan mehra then I contacted him he said it is available for work from home also . He then sent me mail of transfering 2500 as registration fees that I did next day asked me to pay 9740 as gadgets fee . Next again asked me to pay 6275 as uniform fee with hdfc bank account opening fee as 10000 which I did not receive any confirmation yet . Next of all asked me to pay 19000 as courier charges which I paid 15000 then. Today asked me to pay 32400 as bond agreement letter fee which I paid as 16200 . I later on realised this company is a fraud . They are fooling me . I am a fresher and was in a need of job so applied but no compqny asks payment for job .

                                Indigo airlines offer me a job, After that asked me to pay 2500rs(refundable) registration fees for online test and interview. A lady name janhvi taken my interview and after that again asked me to pay 7840rs(refundable) for further process and also give me the receipt of both these bills. After that again asked me to pay 15500rs for parcel and training letter. Then I refuses to pay and asked for my refund. So, he asked me to pay GST and ITR for refund, then I pay GST and ITR. After that he asked me your account name is wrong, you can pay for another account then I refuses to pay after that my money was debited by own from my bank account. By doing this, I lost a total of 35873rs. Please take action against this and help me to refund my money. I'm from very poor family, I'll taken all the money from my friend how can i pay money to her. Please help me.

                                I got a call saying my CV is shortlisted and they explained me the process and they also told me I have to register for this and registration fee is 2100. I told them that I am not comfortable with this and suddenly in the evening I got watsapp message which I have attached below which says that I have to pay some challan for misbehaving to avoid this they told me to pay 3k for cancelling the CV and told me that they will refund me back in 24 hrs and next day they told me to pay another 15750 for documents verification but I only paid 5k and I lost 8k in this matter please take action against this the number is spam in true caller. Please let me know if you have this kind of rules which says that you can put challan on any candidate through the court. My friend paid first 3k and 5k I paid from my father's gpay. Please help me.

                                  With reference to the below email, I have raised complaint against my damaged baggage, But for that Indigo team has provided the travel voucher of Rs.1500 as compliment, Since myself, I won't afford frequent travel on air, I would have requested Indigo team to repair my suitcase instead of providing such travel voucher which is of no use, So I would request to please provide me the the repair cost, so that i can fix my VIP suitcase damage at VIP showroom.

                                    Below trailing email is for your immediate reference. Based on the trailing email, I have raised complaint against my damaged baggase. But Indigo has given compensation as ticket voucher of worth 1500 INR, but as we are not a frequent traveller in flight, That voucher is not useful for us. My request is that to repair my suitcase, but Indigo team was not helping us to perform repair of my suitcase. If that is not possible they might have given repairing amount in cash, so that i can fix it at VIP showroom.

                                      I was booking 2 way ticket for 2 people today with Indigo. Payment got deducted but did not receive the ticket. Customer care number is not reachable and the bot is not loading. Pathetic!
