Was travelling from Bangalore to Jaipur via indigo airlines on 9th Nov when a dslr camera,newly bought, was stolen from my checked in luggage. I have sent many mails and made 100calls to the customer relations at indigo airlines but they have not taken any action still. had a bag with a lot of Diwali gifts. Even though the bag was less than 6kgs, the indigo ground staff didnot allow me to take it as hand baggage. Forced me to check it in. I told her it contained a delicate and expensive(rs.35,000) camera. She told me she would mark it as fragile. Forget about breaking, the new camera which was not even assembled yet was stolen,with each important part camera,lens,chords,memory card, everything stolen. Indigo airlines staff should not force people to check in baggage if they cannot securly keep people's stuff. When i received the bag it wad properly zipped but the box which contained the camera was torn and the camera was gone. I cannot believe it how things can get stolen from the checked in baggage that too of such an eminent airline like indigo.
Indigo airlines,learn to live upto your name, it is the customers faith in you that has helped you reach such heights, dont take that for granted.

With regards to the unpleasant experience, we apologize for the inconvenience. As confirmed with Indigo executive Surjit, the counter is closed 45mins prior to the departure. We are sure that you will also agree that we do not own or operate the airlines; hence it is difficult for us to exercise any/less control over the services provided by them.
As per the airlines policy, we have received INR 233/- from Indigo airlines against your booking EZR[protected]/A. Since your booking was already booked under "POY857SD" offer, as per terms and conditions of the offer, cash back amount will be reversed in case of any cancellation.
As per our records, we have already refunded the amount of INR 250/- on 5th December 2012; hence there would be no more refunds against EZR[protected]/A.
Please be informed that we would not be in a position to process more refund unless we get the same from the airline. We hope you would understand our position in this matter.
