I have booked one TWO-WAY ticket of Indigo airline for my urgent official visit to Delhi. It’s booking reference no is MWTQAN and date of journey is on 27.02.2013 on flight No.6E258 from Bhubaneswar to Delhi and return ticket on 2.03.2013 on 6E257 in my name: RAJKAMAL SWAIN. I reached Bhubaneswar airport 6.05P.M while departure of flight is 6:55 P.M. Although I was waiting near the desk. The lady on desk knowingly ignore me for around 10 minutes in pretext of doing something on her computer, then took my ticket print-out only to say that I am not allowed to travel because I came late . I requested them allow me since I am in time but, the lady on desk was much casual to make it delay .Instead the entire staff on the indigo desk started arguing with me uselessly and consume the time in the process till it was 6.20P.M minutes since I have to go Delhi urgently I literally beg them not to delay it further. Indigo staffs on check-in counter that particular day behave so unprofessionally, ruthlessly and uncivilized manner that , I was wondering on what basis the air-lines has kept these dumb : is it for their showy look to attract customer without training them how to behave with passengers and make things easier even in difficult times.
As the incident happen for around 20 minutes, I was watching helplessly all my fellow passenger were still in line near check-in counter for security clearance. Here these females on the counter not allowing me my boarding pass. So, ultimately I have to cancel my important travel and lost half of my two-way ticket money amounting Rs.14,056/-
Under the above mentioned circumstances, I feel it shouldn’t be the policy of a air-line to cheat and eat the customer’s money at the drop of the hat. Therefore, requesting you to refund my money, so that trust of people may remain on your airlines. And the same time I feel any air-lines should maintain some ethics to be called it is prestigious. should be kept in mind people fly not to see / argue with dumb female staff/air-hostess but to save time and make life easy more productive.

This is to lodge a complaint against Indigo Airlines for not allowing me to board the aircraft and for leaving me un-boarded, shell shocked, frustrated, baffled, puzzled and stranded at BLR airport in-spite of possessing the boarding pass.



The incidence occurred on December 6, 2012 for the flight no 6E123 leaving BLR for Lucknow at 3:50 PM. I checked-in timely; I was issued the boarding pass and my luggage was booked for destination on the said flight (Exhibhit-1). Subsequently, I proceeded for Security Check. Due to rush, I was not allowed to jump the queue. On sensing the delay in boarding and requesting the Security Personnel to jump the queue, I was advised to be in queue as they said and I quote “in case o[censored]rgency respective airlines rescue their bonafide passengers with boarding pass to facilitate entry into aircraft”. Thereafter, I reached the Boarding Gate only to learn that I was late and was left un-boarded. The airline staff neither helped me jump the queue at Security Check nor made any effort to reach me on phone in spite of the same printed on my boarding pass and thus its deemed availability in their records. At the boarding gate, the counterfoil of my Boarding Pass was stamped cancelled without any request for cancellation and my luggage was deplaned.



On approaching the Indigo Manager who was not available, the Indigo staff was requested for accommodating me on any of their next flights or endorsing me to other carrier to reach my destination Lucknow on time, Instead, I was advised for the only choice of buying another ticket at increased price. I felt compelled to buy another ticket from Indigo after paying Rs 5392 extra to the fare paid earlier.



I make the Airline accountable for this mess and demand compensation for the damages due to the incurred loss on my health and suffering from the trauma."

Dear Sir,

I have booked Air Ticket from Ahmedabad to Lucknow on[protected] for Two adults and one infant (1.5 yr old )with PNR - B25END. But when we came for check in on[protected] at Ahmedabad Airport, Your officials didn't allow infant (1.5 yr old) to board as we could not produce DOB cirtificate. Thereafter we have to take fresh ticket for infant even less than 2 yr old with new PNR-E23RRN. Also Swipe machine not working there and i have to take CASH from outside ATM and they have also not provided E-Ticket.

Now, i request you to provide E-ticket booked for PNR- E23RRN in the name of Ms. Uditi Roy on my e-mail ID:[protected]@gmail.com as we have to claim for reimbursement from my bank as we are on official toor.

Please do the needful and also request you to advise your officials to be little practical while working as we we had faced huge problem while travelling first time in Indigo Flights.

    PLS FIND THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINTS FACED BY ME BECAUSE OF YOUR FLIGHT:

    1. Myself SATVINDER SINGH, I'd booked my flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar for 24th Feb'13 which I later got changed to 26th Feb'13 same flight. My Booking Refereence was DW7ICT. I did not get any mail from your side confirming me the changes made, it was again when I'd called up the callcentre on 26th Feb'13, that the mail and SMS was sent.

    2. There was an amount to be refunded, but till date there is no amount returned back and no communication made on the topic from your side.

    3. I'd reached the Indigo checkin counter at Terminal 1A at 3.35 PM on 26th Feb'13 and requested the lady that I've to board the Bhubaneswar flight which will departure at 4.25PM, but the lady did not support me and asked me to get in the que wherein there were almost 8-10 persons standing. It has happened many times earlier and the staff makes lot of calls and requests and take their customers to a seperate que to help them close but they did not do so.
    The individual who made my check in said that the time is 3.52PM and you've missed the flight. He sends me to the customercare executive who again says, "Pls Wait", After a lot of discussions, they tell me that now since you've missed the flight, pls take a new ticket and make arrangements to travel.

    Since it was very important for me to reach the destination, I'd to take the tickets for Indigo flight to Calcutta, Booking Reference IWQ9BSC and then the train to Bhubaneswar. An additional cost of Rs 10000/-.

    I've been flying very frequently on this route, for the last 3 months, almost evry 15 days(you can check my status in your data) and this is the treatment, then you can well understand the dissatisfaction from your customers.
    The total experience was extremely bad, both in terms of time and money. Hope you would understand. Despite of being at the checkin and still missing the flight.

    Awaiting your reply on the 3 matters stated above.

    GoIndigo — Endorsement Delay

    I have so far have the worst experience with Goindigo.
    I would advice all my Friends to travel with the other airlines than Goindigo, because they are Slow and they have the worse service ever.
    They claim to do every thing on TIME...which is really really false..

      I boarded the indigo flight 6E141 from lucknow to Bangalore.I had a strolley bag which i checked in.The bag was absolutely new and I had bought it 2 days back.When I collected my checked in baggage at my destination Bangalore, it was badly damaged.The fabric was cut and the strolley was broken and stuck.The bag was worth 6000.Who will pay for the loss? I want my money back from the airlines.

        I had a BAD experience on the 17th. Though I had paid on 24th Dec thru my IDBI Debit card, I was asked to pay again while checking-in, by your Assistant Manager Hakim. This was nothing but harassment. If payment had not come to you, you should have alerted us in December itself ! Why at the time of checking-in.
        I have checked my bank statement and have confirmed that the debit was complete on 24th Dec n No reversal had been done. Your refund has come in today, confirming that your actions were wrong.
        It caused us great agony for almost 20 mins at the counter and spoilt our holiday mood!
        This is hardly expected of an Airline who claims to be the best in India !
        I demand a written explanation n also inform you that if not convinced, I will take the matter to IAPA n Consumer Courts !

          I am travelling today by Indigo Airlines 6 E 256 and my PNR number is MW8QEP from Bhubaneswar to Delhi .

          As I was carrying only handbag and kept my laptop also is same due to this my over all weight was 9 KG so I was advised to check in my bag as more than 7 Kg is not allowed as hand carry by Mr Jaidev who was issuing boarding pass from mobile device .

          As per his advise I went to normal check in counter and removed my laptop and given my bag for check in , girl ( Ms Poornima ) standing on counter asked me if I would like to carry my bag as hand carry , as now weight was only 6 KG . I said yes to her and took my boarding pass . Before I proceed towards security Mr Jaidev very rudely told me that why I have not check in my bag . I explain to him that as per advise of your team I have removed my laptop and kept in hand . He talked very rudely and went to girl she also told that him as per her advise only I have not checked in my bag but he was very rude . After they both had argument , then Ms Poornima was Also rude .

          I told them not to worry you can check in my bag and requested to have priority tag so I get my bag fast , she was rude in replying which was very shocking .

          I travel 15 days in month and travelling since 15 years not came across this rude behaviour any where in world .

          When you have clear policy of one hand bag including laptop then why this is not clear to both officers and why other people was allowed one laptop bag and one seperate handbag as seperately both bags are less than 7 but if you combined both then weight will be more that 7 kg and two hand bags When I ask this to Jaidev then he told me that is none of my business .

          Today your airlines is growing but this attitude will bring down your share very soon

            I AM SORRY TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT TODAY I.E 08/FEB/08. I HAD TO GO TO BHUBANESHWAR. AND I WAS BOOKED YOUR FLIGHT NO.6E 251. VIDE PNR NO. XJ78AB.



            I HAD REACHED THE COUNTERS AT 8.18 AM AFTER GETTING MY BAG SECUTITY CHECKED AND ALL TO CATCH THE FLIGHT FOR 8.55 AM. BUT I WAS NOT GIVIN THE BOARDING PASS. AS I SUPPOSE YOUR FLIGHT WAS OVER-BOOKED.



            Your ground staff was very rude; they harassed me and also misbehaved at the airport. Even after knowing that I have my baggage was security checked. They did not let me check-in.



            This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and I caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on me as I am a patient of high blood pressure and sugar.



            You are requested to kindly refund my money or issue me a ticket for tomorrow's travel or a ticket voucher in lieu of the above mentioned ticket in order to restrain me from taking a legal stand against your airline.

              my name is satinder pal, i am on flight No. E6 316 Trivandrum to Delhi on dated 31st January 2013,i don't had good experience on this flight, when i ask for dinner the air hostess told me its finish i ask for 4 item for all theses item she told its finish, and Ur air hostess are so much talkative, both are discuss there personal issues on board, and talk so loudly, first time i saw these air hostess talk so loudly, they don't talk about that they are smokers

              I have booked two tickets on 20 July(11:00 pm) for bangalore to delhi .
              I have selected option for flight 7:45 pm (Bangalore to Dehi).I have confirmed several times for the timings .But to my surprise, system has taken the reservations for default
              first flight for the day, which is at 6:00 am in the morning.I am using facility of online reservation of air tickets from quite along time.There is some problem in website
              I have immediately informed the same to Customer Care Department(11:37 pm), but they refused to listen.
              This is some kind of tactics by GoIndigo flight carrier .Another way to earn money by asking users to pay Reschedulling fees.

              Through this complaint, I would like to urge higher authorities to take immediate action in this regard.

              Go IndiGo — My DLA has not been returned by check in counter executive

              Hi, I forgot my Driving License in Mumbai CSI airport check in counter on 1st Feb, 2011, while travelling from BOM to CCU(Flight# 6E 325).Since I have landed in CCU NSCBI airport, I am following up continously with BOM departure crews as well as with CCU arrival crews, at around 11 PM in the night, a lady named LATA informed me, that they have found my DL and will be sending the same to CCU on 2nd Feb, and has asked me to collect the same from CCU airport counter. On 2nd Feb, 2011, I have called on the following number ([protected]) atleast for 25 times, and every time somebody new is picking up the phone, and instead of solving the problem they are confusing me by saying, only LATA will be able to answer my query properly, and she will on duty from 9:45 PM. I again tried calling up the Mumbai departure desk since 9:45 PM on 2nd Feb, 2011, but somebody called SARA everytime picked up the phone and keep on saying that she will be calling me back within 10 mins, after waiting for several such 10 mins and continous follow ups, finally I found the phone is switched OFF at around 11 PM on 2nd Feb, 2011. Having no idea about what to do now I am writing this feedback to you. WIll request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest. With such a reputed airlines of the country, this type of behaviour is not at all expected.

              Btw, I have all the calls recorded and will be able to provide the same on request.

                This is to bring to your notice about my sad and horrifying experience with indigo airlines. I got three tickets booked thru make my trip from Delhi to Bangkok and vice versa.
                Delhi to Bangkok: 16 Jan 2013 time 18.25
                Bangkok to Delhi: 31 Jan 2013 time 1.05 am. Airline PNR: WRWFDI

                Indigo airlines confirmed the tickets and I got the tickets via e- services.

                When on 16 Jan I reached the Airport with my wife and three year old son at the check in counter I was asked to pay Rs 35000 more to take this flight as according to the Indigo staff at the airport I was exceeding my stay in Bangkok by one day as according to them the permitted stay in Bangkok is 14 days where as I thought that the permitted stay on visa on arrival was 15 days and I booked my seats accordingly. I was not informed of this while booking the seats by make my trip or Indigo where as Air Asia and other airlines make it a point to inform its passengers of all the visa related issues.
                Then I was asked to meet senior person Mr. Upender of Indigo in this regard.
                My complain is that why was I forced and compelled to pay this amount and why was I harassed at the airport while I was traveling with a small baby by my side it was like black mail because I was not informed by the airline and by make my trip of this issue when I checked at the Bangkok airport they said I could have stayed for 15 days .Then why was I forced by Indigo to pay such a huge amount for no fault of mine Indigo claims to be a economical airline but they blackmailed me to pay such a huge amount if Indigo knew of this visa rule why did they not inform me while booking the seats and why did the note this problem only at the last moment while checking in for the flight.
                My question to Indigo and make my trip is as follows:
                1. While booking tickets online why was I not given any details of such penalty or about this rule of stay of 14 days?
                2. The Thai Visa authority can charge me penalty and not the airline.
                3. Mr. Upender bargained the amount from 35000 to 27000 rupees at airport counter that left me with no other option but to pay the amount.
                4. When I asked the Indigo person to cancel my tickets as I could not afford to pay such a huge amount he said then nothing would be refunded and the ticket would go waste.
                I and my wife and infant son had to go thru not only financial harassment but physical and mental harassment too by the indigo staff.
                My request is to Indigo to refund the extra amount I paid to them (which I was forced to pay as they blackmailed me to pay to them).
                An early reply in this matter would be appreciated.

                  Dear Authority,

                  I was not permitted to board the indigo flight patna to mumbai on 28.01.2013 with following details:
                  ezeego1 reference number : EZR[protected]/A

                  Indigo Confirmation number : FS2JLH

                  that i have booked. Reason they told me that i had reached late at boarding pass counter. Flight timing was 2.30 PM and i had reached around time of restriction of 45 min before it. They also told me that now no seat is available in flight. It means they sold my seat to some body else. How did they allow passenger of current reservation even after their restriction time of 45 min before departure of flight. It is common practice of same flight that i have seen earlier due to which i was not much worried while coming to airport patna although stuck up in traffic, otherwise i would have done something to reach anyhow before 45 min. i had seen passenger boarding even just before start of the same flight earlier. I have been customer of your same flight.

                  I request to authority of pls ensure 100% policy adherence not only on paper but practically also because in my case your practice (that i had seen to boarding passenger even before little time of start of the flight earlier) made impression that in urgency/problem you will consider to board the flight. Due to this i missed important business process assignment which is setback for me and 2 working days.

                  I talked 2 customer care agent of indiego on mobile. one is telling booking amount will be refunded. Other is telling it will not be refunded only around Rs. 200-400 will be refunded.

                  I would like to name one senior staff of indiego Mr. Shashi sir (Jr. staff like airhostess Ms. shreya and others calls him) who was not only uncooperative but also very unprofessional/rude in his behaviour while communicating to me. This is for taking suitable action against such staff.

                  This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and I caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on me.

                  I hope amount of my booking will be refunded in view of above losses in order to restrain me from taking a legal stand against your airline/share same experience on social networking sites.

                  Greetings from ezeego1!

                  With regards to the unpleasant experience, we apologize for the inconvenience. As confirmed with Indigo executive Surjit, the counter is closed 45mins prior to the departure. We are sure that you will also agree that we do not own or operate the airlines; hence it is difficult for us to exercise any/less control over the services provided by them.

                  As per the airlines policy, we have received INR 233/- from Indigo airlines against your booking EZR[protected]/A. Since your booking was already booked under "POY857SD" offer, as per terms and conditions of the offer, cash back amount will be reversed in case of any cancellation.

                  As per our records, we have already refunded the amount of INR 250/- on 5th December 2012; hence there would be no more refunds against EZR[protected]/A.

                  Please be informed that we would not be in a position to process more refund unless we get the same from the airline. We hope you would understand our position in this matter.

                    Hello,

                    I want to put a complaint against my missing goods from my luggage. I was traveling from flight no E426E42 on 26 January 2013 whose arrival at New delhi airport at 3:15 pm. I have a Samsung S3 phone which worth 38000 INR is missing from my luggage side pocket, I also have a bill for this product and it happened at your cargo department so I warned you guys and told you to hire trustworthy people otherwise no one will travel in your flight ever which is not good for your business.

Due to some domestic reason i have cancelled the Air Ticket on[protected] online, After cancellation I have called the Airline on[protected] at 16.17 and spoke to Mr Rahul for refund, he told with 5-6 working days the amount will be refunded. Again i called Mr Sandeep n[protected] at 16.40, Mr Faijal on[protected] at 16.37 and finally i spoke to Mr Sandeep today at 11.10, he told me that they have refunded the amount on[protected]. I have checked up with Banker (Standard Chartered Bank) and they informed me that no credit amount received Now I request your goodself to kindly take up the matter.

                        Hi Sir,

                        I have cancelled my tickets with Indigo PNR number ONCMBI on 3rd of Nov 2012. However i haven't receive the refund yet. As per their policy they say 10 working days.
                        I called up Indigo custermer care twice and had words with Naman on 4th of Dec2012 and Aditya on 24th of Dec 2012..

                        Do let me know how to proceed further for getting my money back.

                          I was travelling from Chandigarh to Mumbai on 9-1-2013 by Go Air Flight. The flight was to leave Chandigarh at 5.25 PM and arrive Mumbai at 7.20 PM. I booked a ticket to Hyderabad from Mumbai by Indigo Airlines Flt No. 6E234 to be departed from Mumbai at 9.20 PM. The flt from Chandigarh was delayed and landed at Mumbai at 8.40 PM. by the time I collected my bag and rushed to the nearest Indigo transfer counter, it was 9.00 PM. I was told that my boarding pass has been issued and I must rush to the relevant counter. As I had to take the printout also, it took time and I reached the counter by 9.10 PM. I was denied boarding. I was offered a seat on Indigo 6E248 dt 10.1-13 which was to depart at 9.20 AM and an additional Rs. 2277 was charged from me in addition to the fare I paid for 6E 243 . I had to check into a hotel and stay overnight at Mumbai. on 9-1-2013, I reached the airport by 7 AM and promptly checked in and was waiting for Boarding whereupon, an announcement was made that the flight is delayed by 20 minutes. After that there was another announcement of a further delay of 1 hour. After a lot of protests from passengers stranded at the airport, a senior person by the name of Lal singh arrived and informed the irate passengers that the flight was diverted at the discretion of the pilot on visibility issues. This is clearly a filmsy ground because Mumbai naver faces the problem of fog and visibility and clearly not on 9-1-2013. The flight was delayed beyond 3 hours and as far as I am concerned, lot of in convenience was caused to me due to this. My presence was essential in Hyderabad for a meeting which never materialised. I am entitled to full refund of my ticket and compensation under DGCA rules for a delay beyond 2 hours.

                            I had got tickets done from Bangalore to New Delhi. And later got the tickets cancelled.
                            The cancellation was confirmed by Indigo on 21st December and the customer care executive informed that the money will be credited back to my credit card account within 8 to 10 working days.
                            I wrote a mail to them again on 8th January and there was response.
                            I spoke to the Manik (the cutomer care executive) and call continued for over 30 minutes. He did not provide any confirmation not did he allow me to speak to his supervisor or any manager on the floor.
                            I demand the due principal amount and additional interest / compensation for the delay.

                              I had booked online Ticket 6E287 DEL-MAA and 6E288 MAA-DEL on 19-Nov-2012 PNR NO. QR57EA For Rs.10,050/-using Amex reward points redeem vouchers for Rs.5000 and balance through credit card payment of Rs.5050/- .

                              I had cancelled the ticket DEL-MAA on 22-Dec-12 online and your website state that I should contact Customer Care for Refund. When I called your customer care an executive kept me on hold for about 15-20 minutes after disconnecting, again I called the Customer Care, one executive "Rohit Sharma" attended the call at about 20.25Hrs of 22nd December, 2012. I explained to him that I had booked my ticket by making payment of Rs.5050 on credit card and balance was through redemption vouchers of Rs.5000 of Amex Card. On first he refused saying that my that entire ticket was booked on voucher so I am not eligible as there is no balance on my account.. When I insisted he kept me on hold and later he informed me that I will get refund of Rs 3820/-. I asked for reference to track the status, he SARCASTICLY said that I can keep calling every ten minutes if I want to know the refund. This is absolutely ill mannered way of dealing with customers. i strongly objected to it, Then he said that I will get sms and email. Both I have not received so far. Since you record all the conversation for quality monitoring purpose you may please hear the conversation,.

                              Further, as per the leg MAA-DEL, I have been charged Rs.1000 as 1 Change Fee. When I have not changed the ticket for MAA-DEL where is the question of Change Fee. I request you to kindly refund the amount of Rs.4820 which includes the change fee by crediting back to my credit card within 7(seven) days, failing which I may be constrained to agitate before appropriate forum for redressal.

                              Though this I would also like to appraise you that no doubt Indigo is best in punctuality but it lacks politeness to deal with the customers by your CUSTOMER CARE.

                                Hi,
                                My husband, myself, our daughter and infant son twenty months had the misfortune to book an indigo flight from Trivandrum to Hyderabad on 12 December 2012. When we arrived at the airport we were harassed by goons who call themselves indigo managers. The PNR numbers are SWYEDA and FWM6BD.
                                I arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for Flight 6E-315 well in time, and during check-in was asked to provide the Date of Birth certificate for my infant son. Since I did not have the DOB certificate, I was told that Indigo would not board all 4 o[censored]s. When asked why Indigo needed the birth certificate, I was told that they had to ensure that the infant was actually less than two years of age. I then offered to pay the difference between an infant’s ticket and a child’s ticket, without requiring Indigo to provide me with an additional seat. This too was refused by the Indigo staff After refusing to board all four o[censored]s, the Indigo staff here then cancelled my ticket (without consultation with me), marking the tickets “No Show”. This essentially means that Indigo has refused to refund almost the entire ticket amount of Rs. 12,000!
                                All this took place with the active collusion and support of indigo staff – they called themselves managers. The staff in question were Bibin/ Bipin Thomas and Tejas (last name I do not know). Both of them did not only make themselves unhelpful, they went about being unhelpful in the most obnoxious manner possible. In fact, they actively sought out opportunities to quarrel with us. It was clear that they derived considerable perverse pleasure in ensuring that I and my family were being inconvenienced to the greatest extent possible. Please help us to get our money refunded.

                                  I booked one Ticket for my Cousin sister Anita Thakker from Nagpur to Bangalore on[protected] using my Debit card from ICICI Bank.
                                  Card was accepted and payment accepted. To my surprise I got a information about Cancellation of said ticket stating that I can not book a ticket for somebody else. It was a shock and on top of it I was told that Rs.2000.00 will be deducted from the amount I paid.
                                  Ridiculous. Kindly check at your end how this can happen. It is not the first time I booked ticket for my relatives.
                                  Kindly look in to the matter and refund full amount Rs.11404.00 at an early date to avoid further litigations

                                      I have booked indigo airline ticket for my friend through Yatra.com. While booking online ticket by mistake i have putted wrong spelling for last name and done payment. After payment, i got ticket in my mail and i observed that i have filled some wrong spelling of last name. I called both Yatra.com and Indigo,and request for correction of filled data but they told you can not edit any data. I asked for any alternative solution they told You have to cancel the ticket and re book it. I didn't found any solution and simply they deducted 1446 INR from my account as cancellation charge.

                                      I checked terms and condition, policy and other information available on INDIGO website but didn't found any such rule under which you can't edit data once payment has done.

                                      Pleas let me know for any other information.Please help me to get me back cancellation charge....
