Hi There,

I need a response on my refund request ASAP. I tried talking with your customer support 4 times in the last 30 mins and all of them have asked me to be on hold and then disconnected the call. If you care for your customers, let me know the refund status. IRCTC confirmed that the refund has to be given by the jet airways as the flight was canceled by the airline company. The ticket is attached for reference.

The ticket was booked on 17th Nov and the Journey date was 19th. I received an SMS from Jet airways saying my flight has been canceled on 18th Nov.

It has been 40 days already since the ticket was canceled by Jet Airways and i am still following up with different people to get the status on the refund.

    I had been traveling on jetairways flight -9w 420 from mumbai to combitatore on 26th dec 2018, departure time -17:55, i have not yet received a bag which belonged to me, and it has been more than 24hrs and i'm not getting any proper replies from the jet airways company, my necessary clothes and toiletries have been stuck up in that bag, and i'm suffering with great problems, and the company is least bothered to make any necessary action.
    Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    It is impossible to check such complaint as the author has not attached :
    - e-ticket copy or boarding pass
    - bag tag
    - PROPERTY IRREGULATORY REPORT (PIR) or DAMAGE REPORT, issued by the agent, who had receved your claim at the airport.

    1. There is a time limit for submission the complaint for a delayed / damaged baggage:
    7 or 21 days following the flight, if the baggage is not receved.
    It can be done at the air carrir site or to the agent of the air carrier in the airport.
    the air carrier must issue the damage report or PIR or any other document after the receipt of the comlaint.

    2. The air carrier has 21 days to deliver your delaye dbagage to your home according to law.

    3. The air carrier liablity for damaged/delayed bagage is limitted by the law.

    4. All additional claims on compensation have to be addresed to the air carrier at the air carrier site,
    follwoing 21 days of the 1st claim.
    than in 15 days the decsion on the compensation or its refusal has to be issued by air carrier to your e-mail box, stating your name and air carrier name.

    5. Following 15 days, all disputes on damages have to be resolved in the court of the country of the departure or of the arrival, and not later tha in 1 or in 2 years, depening upon the country.

    6. You are advised to save
    - bag tag
    - e-ticket
    - PIR or damage report, which was issued by agent
    OR
    - your own submitted complaint at air carrir site.
    - any reply of the air carrier to your name / e- mail box.

    Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same air carrier (example, gimme 1000 ruppes for non delived / delayed luggage).

    7. The later solution (if no compensation receved) is via local court only.

    8. The expected expences for legal civil matter can be:
    - government fees [ from 200 or from 2000 rupees] + own efforts,
    - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from ~5000 rupees] + own efforts
    The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.

      This is Mahendra . A two months before one recruitment agency contacted me through the shine.com website .
      Shine.com website gives his contact number to me to recruit in job as air ticketing in jet airways airlines.
      The recruitment agency agent was said that you want to pay 2000 for registration fee and I was paid it . As well as the conduct the online skill test and telephonic interview and they said you was recruited to jet airways so you want to pay 5600+12800 for company for a security purpose. I was paid it .
      Then after two days they said you want to pay 22500 for training purpose and that was also paid by me . After I was asked them when I will recruit they said some date to me and after one month they said that you want to pay 17500 for uniform as well as I was paid .
      But I have doubt on them because they aren't lift my calls and switching off their mobiles . So please show kind on me sir . I was excpected that you will take action on them and give my money back . I am the middle class family member so I am asking you to give the money back . The money is borrowed from my father's friend . He was pressures on me . So please kind on me and once check it sir

      It has come to our notice that certain unscrupulous individuals/placement agencies, falsely claiming to be employees of Jet Airways (India) Limited/Jet Lite (India) Limited or our authorized recruitment agencies are sending out false emails and forged Appointment letters with forged signatures purporting to be from Jet Airways India Limited and or its group companies. The emails are enticing and misleading job aspirants. These fraudulent individuals/agencies use our trademarks and demand money by way of fees, charges, travel expense etc. from aspiring candidates for securing employment with us.
      The emails ask the candidates to appear for a face-to-face interview for a job opening with Jet Airways and to deposit a certain amount as a refundable/non-refundable interview security in a designated bank account. These emails are erroneously stated to be from the HR Department of Jet Airways and may carry the Designation/ ID or domain name of Jet Airways (or a deceptively similar name) to make it look authentic. We as an organization are taking appropriate steps to tackle the issue.
      We wish to notify that we do not demand or charge any fee/charges from the aspiring candidates for considering their candidature or at any time during the recruitment process, nor have we authorised any individual, agency or firm for recruiting candidates for us.
      Please note that we bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited/withdrawn from such emails.
      Any person seeking employment with Jet Airways or Jet Lite or its group companies needs to be cautious and not trust any agency or individual, claiming to be our representative, and charging fees for providing/securing employment with us.
      Please note the following pointers to identify the fraudulent emails:
      • Jet Airways does not ask for any money from the candidate at any stage of the recruitment process
      • A fraudulent email may mention the bank account number of an individual or the account details would be given upon calling up on the number mentioned in the fraudulent mail. In any case the bank account would not be in the name of “Jet Airways India Ltd.”

      You faced with fraud.
      The investigation of fraud is a duty of the local police in your town/village
      You can submitthe a complaint on fraud against you to the local police office and they must issue the receipt and the decision on the commencemnt of criminal case (FIR).

      Advise: delete all e-mal messages, which do not have your full name and require the payment from you in future.

        Dear all,
        I have seen various news regarding flight cancellation due to jet airways not providing salary to their employess.
        Also, one person had permanent loss of hearing ability due to jet airways.
        Bad news about jet airways.
        I am very much concerned about my first trip with jet airways and worried for last minute cancellation and not want to be stranded.
        I requested them to cancel my ticket and give full refund but they are denying.
        Ticket cost is 3400 and cancellation charges are 8400. No logic at all.
        Please help me in getting full refund after ticket cancellation.

          I had a connecting flight from patna - pune at 1:05 pm on 25th dec. The flight was first delayed to 1:30 and then to 2:30 pm. Due to which my flight to pune had to be rescheduled too.
          Even after all this the staff was so rude to the passangers and no courtesy to apologize watsoever. It is highly dissapointed when one pays an hefty sum to travel by your airline only to be treated like this. Totally unacceptable as this is happening for the second time this week to me. Will not recommend jet to anyone!!

            My self brinda.. Actually am looking for tats tym. One lady ia call to my number she is told we are calling from jet airways. Are you looking for job...? And can u register to our company tats payment is 2000.
            And am pay to her acc. Then next day am attened one online test after she is told again u will pay to 6200 its for document verification. And am also pay to this amt. After final i will sent to the offer latter ur selected so can u pay 14500 tats amt also am payed..

              Today, i had to catch a flight at 640am from mum to coimbatore. I had reached airport in time.in a queue for checkin luggage i asked a person handling the queue thrice that i have 640am flight, so should i go ahead of queue and tell the at the counter for boarding pass. Thrice the person mentioned that you will be called shortly by someone to go ahead in the queue. No one came for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes a jet airways lady asks if anyone for coimbatore, i immediately turned up to her. She put me ahead in the queue however even after that it took 10 more minutes for me yo get the boarding pass. So i already wasted my 25 to 30 minutes despite asking several times but no one bothered to hurry up for me for so long.

              After that there was huge queue at security wherein also even after requesting i was not being allowed to go ahead in the queue which led to further delay.

              I rushed to boarding gate thereafter. The security person name swapnil asked me whether i am for coimbatore flight to which i responded yes. He immediately confirmed to the concerned person at the boarding gate and asked us to rush. By the time we rushed to boarding gate we were informed that we were delayed by 3 minutes as last boarding is only 25 minutes prior to the taking off time. Even after requesting several time to the manager in charge he did not allow me to board the flight and the manager very arrogantly thrashed down my request.

              Boarding gate manager mentions i was delayed because of security for which he is not responsible.

              Security personell says - he is also not responsible

              Jet airways manager says she can't help it because delay is due to security or at boarding get for which she is also not responsible. Despite repeated request the manager did not bother to consider my request.

              I and my spouse are regular jetairways customer and we always preferred to fly in jetairways. However, this is the worst experience i have had today with jetairways and the way it has been handles by jet team is completely in ridiculous, unprofessional manner.

              I was shocked to have such a misbehaviour especially of manager who could have handled this in a much much better and responsible way. But i was not the only one who was suffering today there were quite a few who also were suffering through this.

              I fail to understand how can a people at responsible position working with organisation like jetairways behave in such a rude and unprofessional way with the customers.

              I am sure that after this incidence unless i am left with no option i will ever book or recommend anyone jetairways flight.

              I seriously have no words. Howmuchever i write will be less today.

              Such a sorry state of affairs. I had to waste my precious 11 hours to fly to coimbatore due to 3 minutes delay that too because of inefficiency and mismanagement of jetairways alongwith people at security and boarding gate. I pity jetairways. It was really a "gundaraj" today.

              On the top of all, they play a master card to earn additional revenue from victims of jets inefficiency and mismanagement by recovering additional charges for no show and blessing you to provide boarding on next flight which is after 10 hours. Complete chaos!!

              No steps have been taken by Jet airways to resolve this. In fact they have charged me for another flight which I missed due to their mistakes. In fact the evening flight for today for which Jet charged me extra and which was to take off by 6pm from Mumbai is already delayed by 15 minutes. Boaeding was on till 5.55pm. Jet should rather pay compensation to me for wasting my entire day and schedule ahead.

                  Hello sir/madam, i want to discuss my experience of jet airways, i have booked the flight on 25nov. For 15 dec from delhi to lucknow flight no 9w 753 timing morning 10.30, i am from punjab according to my flight timing me & my wife we reached at airport from punjab, when we reached at airport and stand for flight checj in jetairways person said your flight is cencelled nd you now have to take flight on 2.10, i was surprised for a big brand like jet airways how can they do that without any update with information, without any confirmation, i went to your staff cordinator, but they misbehaved with us, & said its not our problem, beacuse of missed that flight i get loss about 3.5 to 4 lakhs, as i have to join the aution & i hv nt recahed nd cannot get the tender. Its was very embarrasing for me, even a lifetime lesson not to trust on jet airways, even i am sending you notice for this loss from my lawyer. And i also will share my that experiece on social media as i have pages there is thousand of followers. Who will know about your services

                    1. My flight was scheduled at 12:55pm from new delhi to pune, i reached airport well on time and was in the queue for bag drop (Counter b) at 11:30am.

                    2. Then, i was being told to do self check in and when i was about to do so, then another jet airways employee asked me to proceed towards counter a around 11:40am stating that they ll issue you a boarding pass.

                    3. I was in queue waiting for my turn and around 12:05pm as i reached the counter, i was being told that "you are late and we cannot issue you boarding pass now".
                    Then, jet airways manager there, ms. Upasna told me that they cannot do anything and i'll not be allowed to board the flight at around 12:15pm and after whole lot of arguments, i was being told that i'll be adjusted in 9:00pm flight as all other flights were full. For this also no confirmation was given. At the end, i had to book another ticket from air india.

                    Staff and miscommunication among staff members, i was not allowed to board that flight even 45 mins prior to the flight timings. Highly irresponsible and casual attitude of your team costed me much inconvenience.

                      Yesterday ticket has been booked of my and my wife with my child (Less than 2 years). When reached at airport, the jet airways staff told to purchase the ticket of the child which is against the rules of airlines. When the person at least 15 years old with the child there is no charge to pay for the child.

                      What is the reason???

                      And why this type of situation has been created at the time of booking??

                      That situation has been created because to make fear to constomer. And take extra charge to constomer. At that time constomer has to option instead of pay this amount...

                        This is with regards to my flight on 3rd march 2018 with the following details:

                        Flight - jet airways 9w973297
                        Route - delhi to amsterdam
                        Date - 03/03/2018

                        When i landed in amsterdam and collected the luggage i could see that the luggage was damaged and completely unusable. Have been trying to get in touch with jet airways to claim for my luggage as expenses but all my complaints have fallen on deaf ears (This happened same day). I discussed this with some of friends recently and then i got to know that i can still complaint and request for the claim.

                        Please suggest!

                          The flight from mumbai to ahmedabad on 21dec has been cancelled and rebooking done and the ew timings are other convenient to us. Repeated requests made it airline has reuse to help and consider.
                          Booking is done through ibibo and they also are ready to help us but airline is saying as delay is 1 hour 50 min and not 2 hour (Just short of 10 min) they will not help in this matter.
                          There is an important function to attend and connecting booking by train is getting disrupted, so asking or this favour.

                            I came from stuttgart (Germany) to new delhi (India) via paris and mumbai through jet airways and air france flights. While i started my journey in stuttgart i was told by an air france employee during check in that i will receive all my luggage in new delhi which was my final destination. When i reached new delhi i did not receive my luggage. After registration of baggage loss complaint employees of jet airways informed me that i had to collect it in mumbai for custom clearance or it might have been delayed due to short layover time in paris. There was a delay of 2.5 hrs in my first flight because of heavy snowfall in stuttgart. After conversation with mumbai airport they confirmed baggage did not arrive mumbai. Jet airways is not able to locate my baggage neither they are replying my emails and there is no satisfactory reply till now.

                            For further follow up and information, i also raised a baggage lost complaint through air france airlines and they informed me that luggage was loaded from stuttgart to paris (Air france flight) but jet airways did not collect it for the next flight from paris to mumbai (Jet airways flight) and my luggage is lying somewhere in paris. I have come to india after one year and that is how my vacation has started. There is no reimbursement for emergency purchase no reply of my queries and i am just helpless. I do not know the exact situation but jet airways is not able to trace my baggage. This was the worst experience so far. The staff is very casual and irresponsible.

                              I was traveling on 17th dec, 2018 with jet airways flight number 9w 497 which was delayed evening and my flight was there from delhi to moscow with aeroflot.
                              I had checked in 2 luggages at kolkata (One was a stick-4ft size).
                              At delhi airport i was already delayed for my next flight and i couldn't get my second luggage -4 ft stick,, orange colour pvc pipe with black rubber grip on both side with a sticker named stick mobility.
                              I sent email to jet airways and my referenceid=[protected].

                                My baggage was misplaced at the airport on the 16th of december and it has been more than 48 hours and i haven't received any updates on the status of my bags. There is no available info on the web tracker. Please help me out in this situation.
                                My file reference number is: bom9w42937
                                And my 2 baggage tags are as follows: dl325649 and dl325650

                                All my clothes and other important things are inside these bags and i'm stuck without them. I hope jet airways looks into this and resolves this problem fast.

                                  My self plus two fellow passengers reached at boarding counter no 8
                                  At right time
                                  Boarding counter lady employee took twenty minute to issue boarding pass.
                                  She was tarnishing wrongly orinted boarding pass and wasted more than twenty minutes.
                                  The we went for security and due to heavy rush
                                  We could not reached gate no 54 and five minutes before gate closed.

                                  It is very unfortunate to
                                  Say that we are late due to boarding counter.
                                  Gate number fifty four did not responded properly.
                                  One of passenger is senior lady.
                                  They did not provide battery car.

                                  We are sitting now inside airport
                                  New barding pass for 2.30 nagpur flight.

                                  We should be entertained in a proper way.

                                  But low paid workforce could not understand the seriousness of grievance of passengers.

                                    I booked confirmed ticket on 3 nov 2018, for 3 people (Blr to ajl trvl date 14.12.2018 pnr no. Fachfu). On d-day, two and half hours before departure, the check-in counter duty informed that my ticket was not confirmed.
                                    After slight argument i was again told that there was mis-connection of flight from ghy to azl, so i was denied check-in.
                                    Then i requested for check-in up to guwahati, that was also denied again.
                                    I had no other option, but to cancel ticket and get refunded, followed by many many difficulties of onward travel plus loss of time, loss of money and psychological trauma
                                    To my surprise flight no 9w659 on dt 14.12.2018 was operated as per schedule between blr and ajl
                                    1. Why was i denied check-in of this flight?
                                    2. Why your check-in staff told me pure lie?

                                      Hello,

                                      I am writing to you as i have experienced one of the most worst flight experience i ever had, due to your company. Please read carefully detailed explanations and get back to me if you need more information.

                                      No of people: 2
                                      Final destination: ahmedabad, gujarat, india
                                      Departure airport: bucharest, romania
                                      Transit airports: dubai (Uae) and mumbai (India)

                                      On 7th of december we flew, from bucharest to dubai, with fly dubai, flight no fz1798 and arrived in dubai at 21:15. On 8th of december at 00:35 we had our connection to mumbai, flight no 9w525. We had, practically, 3h and 20 min transit time in dubai airport. With aprox. 1 hour before departure time, the flight was announced as delayed for almost 1h. Nobody from your company was able to explain to passengers why it has been delayed. After that the status of flight had been constantly changed as delayed until departure time was 4:30am, practically 4 hours from normal departure time.

                                      Our next connection from mumbai to ahmedabad was booked on 8th december at 08:35am, flight no 9w2314, which, obviously, had been lost, due to major delay from dubai.
                                      While we were waiting in dubai we have received a message that our flight from mumbai has been rebooked as follows: flight 9w647 from mumbai to new delhi, departure time 10:00am and arriving in delhi at 12:25pm with another connection flight 9w647 leaving delhi at 13:20pm and arriving at ahmedabad at 15:00pm.

                                      So, there we were in mumbai, heading to your customer desk representatives with received message and looking for instructions how to connect to our new flight. As we were speaking with her she said there is no chance to catch the connection in delhi to ahmedabad so we might get stuck in delhi so we asked for the next flight available to ahmedabad which we have been told that is scheduled at 17:30, but after she checked for an available ticket she came up with the answer that that flight is fully booked. So, according with her we were stuck in ahmedabad for on day.in that conditions, we spoke with the person who was suppose to wait us in ahmedabad asking for solution. He told us to enquire for a flight to rajkot and he will handle to book a hotel for us cause it was too late to come and pick us up.
                                      We enquired for such a flight and we have been told that the next flight available was scheduled at 19:30pm, flight no 379, mumbai to rajkot. She managed to find two available tickets for that flight so we booked them.

                                      And, after aprox 26 hours from our departure we arrived on a different airport than initial one with other expenses occurred (I. E. Hotel room, taxi from the airport).

                                      I can confirm one more time that that experience was like a nightmare for us and besides 2 meals in mumbai (Breakfast and lunch) nobody from your company asked us if we need any assistance.

                                      Considering all of these, in conjunction with internationally air flight regulations in case of delays, we believe that we are more than entitled to compensations from your company. Not to mention that we were coming for an important meeting in ahmedabad which had to be canceled and rescheduled for another day (Cause other issues which can not be quantified accordingly).
                                      So we request full refund of flight tickets with your company, and 400 eur compensations for each o[censored]s, for all the other expenses and inconvenience occurred by this situation.

                                      We sincerely regret for any inconvenience experienced due to delay of 9W525 from Dubai to Mumbai on 08th December 2018.

                                      We can truly understand the impact that this delay may have had on your travel itinerary. It is vital for our business and guests that we adhere to published schedules as well as operate our flights on time. In fact, this not only directly impact our revenue but also have a cascading effect on flight operations on all routes that an aircraft is scheduled to operate on.

                                      From our records, we understand that the said flight was delayed due to air traffic congestion at Dubai. This had a cascading effect on your onward misconnection from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.

                                      In such situations, our staff does facilitate guests to the maximum extent possible to ensure that guests reach their destination at the earliest. However, I trust you will agree that this is subject to seat and flight availability. Had there been seats available on the earlier flights, staff would have gladly rebooked you.

                                      Despite the best efforts by our staff to assist you, we regret that the factor of discomfort could not be eliminated.

                                      Mr. Isaia, the situation as unfolded was circumstantial and the delay was beyond airline control. Also, liability for such delays are limited.

                                      In the view of above, we are unable to accede to your request for compensation as suggested.

                                        We travelled from hyderabad to amsterdam with stop-over at mumbai on 08-09 dec 2018. Our baggage was not received at our destination. After one day one of the bags was received at amsterdam and delivered. The second bag is still missing.
                                        The file reference for the baggage is ams9w13134.

                                        It has been 5 days since both klm and jet have not been able to find it and what even more discomforting is the lack of communication....
