I lately shopped a lot on Myntra and decided to try newer brands which i have never used previously. Products not liked were returned in condition as they arrived, mostly on the same day.
Now these guys are changing some Platform Handling Fee against the Fair user policy for returning products i didnt like.
A. Its false advertising when you call yourself as Hassle Free Return when you will charge people money for returning goods.
B. No where you policy says what is the limit of returning goods, be it product numbers or value of products, beyond which this fee will be levied. How to expect a customer to know to what extent they can experiment.
C. What is the guarantee you as a platform are providing with respect to color, size and quality of the products of newer brands. Your own disclaimer states the product may be different owing to lighting conditions. Basically, you luring customers to try new brands and taxing them for not liking it and returning it.
D. Is this the process you want to follow for your customers to try and like new brands. If you cant handle the experimental nature of your customers what is the point of promoting new brands in first place.
E. All goods ordered from my end were prepaid and none was COD or any other option. Please explain it to me with no intention of cheating and returning things as it is, how did i abuse your 'liberal return policy', when the goods you sent were crapy in first place.
F. In one of my previous orders, i by mistake ending up sending my money to your credit account rather than the original source. I was being assured you guys are safe. Well, if you levy changes without my consent on my money, you are stealing my money and my money is NOT SAFE.
G. Train your staff for more than just repeating "this is the policy". I cant read your unclear, ambiguous and fraud policies on my own. I am calling your staff for resolution. Which is either you give me my money back, which i am entitled to and not forced to purchase stuff from your platform. Or, lift such fraud charges like Platform Handling Fees which i wasn't made aware of.
I am extremely disappointed and feeling cheated due to your policies. Never wanting to buy from your platform ever again.
