BEWARE – PANASONIC AIRCONDITIONERS


Don’t ever buy a PANASONIC AIRCONDITIONER!!! PATHETIC SERVICE!!!

3 off days from office for servicing the ac and almost 1 month and not yet serviced and I don’t think it will ever get serviced. Anyways now I have had enough and I have decided I don’t need a service and I don’t need Panasonic also.




I have bought 2 split Panasonic ac’s sometime in August 11. All was well initially. The sales representative commended the brand and the product and the servicing. With Panasonic etched in the minds of many Indians for their quality efficient products I went ahead and bought the 2 split ac’s.

The issues started right after this.

The delivery and installation team seemed to be a team of ruffians. Abusive language (among each other), aggressive body language all within my residence and thank God I was home on the day they came for the installation. And I would not have preferred to leave my family alone with them during the installation without proper supervision.

However after the installation things went on well and as I was assured of 3 free servicing free for the 1st year (company provided as part of the standard product package) I requested for the 1st service in Nov 11 after the ac reduced its cooling and the servicing went on well and post servicing the ac was cooling just about fine.

However that is the end of the Panasonic service story.

The ac reduced its cooling again towards end April 2012 and I put in a request on 1st May 2012 with the call centre for a servicing as I thought with the servicing the cooling will again startl.

The service centre confirmed a visit on the 2nd or 3rd (I exactly don’t remember) and I stayed home that day leaving my office as I wanted to get the servicing done in front of me and I did not have anybody at home then who could get the servicing done in my absence.

After waiting the whole day no body turned up.

I again call-up the call centre and told them that no one has turned up and the call centre said they will come on the 4th or 5th. I asked them to confirm the day and time as I would need to be home to get the servicing. They then got me a con-call with the service agent who confirmed that they would service the ac the next day.

I hence took leave and stayed hone the next day and lo! Again the people did not turn up. A little exasperated I called up the call centre to register a complaint and it took me almost 30mins to explain the situation to the call centre agent as he was not ready to listen to me but harping on what he needed to say.

Finally he said he will arrange for a call back from a senior in the morning the next day (possibly the 5th of May 2012)

I waited for the call but no call came and then I called up the call centre again and I was aghast to find out that there was no complaint registered the previous day at all. I asked the call centre to give me the name of the person who attended my call and he said it is not possible and when I wanted to speak to somebody senior he first refused and when I was insistent he said they are busy on other call and he would get a call back the in half an hour. But as usual nothing happened.

Again the next day I called up the call centre and requested for a local number of service centre but they were initially not giving and then finally they gave a number which did not work. Giving up on my fate and the bad stars of the day I choose a Panasonic Ac, I resigned to my fate and requested for a service again and on checking for the previous days complaint I was aghast to find that the previous days complaint was also not registered on their systems.

It has been almost a month that I have requested for a basic service and after numerous calls and 3 days of waiting at home leaving my job I still have not got my service request redressed.

I have decided I will replace the PANASONIC ac with some other company which will have at least the basic service standards.


Please stay away from PANASONIC …. Its only BIG TALK and it is going to be dangerous for your wellbeing.

I purchased a panasonic refrigerator NR - BU343 in july 2013. I started facing some problems with the product in june 2014. Then i registered my complaint with panasonic on 21-june-2014 in Shahjahanpur (U.P)- 242001. The complaint number is- [protected]. The service personnel visited and told me that a part will be replaced. I agreed to it and it was a more horrible experience as it took approx 1 month to get the part for replacement. The next day it also didnt work out then i once again called panasonic service personnel . The result was that I will be informed about the furthur information about replacement or refund of the product within a period of time. Till now no information has been passed from their part. I have called many a times on the panasonic customer care[protected]. They were not ready to give furthur information and always tried to manipulate the complaint info. The senior personnel named Ashish Kapoor was also not interested helping to solve the issue. It has been more than 2 months and they still do not have any information related to the issue. This type of behaviour and working is very unprofessional. They take their customers for granted and exploit their customers by providing inferior products and that too with inferior and pathetic services.
Lastly I want that the company should give me the information about how the issue will be solved in the least possible time and the status of replacement of the product or the refund.
This is inform you that I have submitted my Panasonic t41 in the service centre. My job sheet number is KJASPMH510115K5878 and IMEI number- [protected]. The moment I submitted the phone it was informed that it will take 15-20 days. Panasonic on their own do not have service centre and depend on Karboon service centre. If you don’t have your own service centers then stop selling your smart phones. I think 20 days is very long time for rectifying these simple issues. BUT STILL I submitted the mobile. But its been 60 days i.e. 2 months now. I have not yet received the mobile phone. 10 days ago, the service centre person asked me to submit the box along with the accessories & said that they will replace the phone. But the CUSTOMER CARE? executive said that the phone is under repair. Customer services are too pathetic. They don’t response and instead disconnected the call. I am planning to go to consumer forum for the same concern as it’s a big concern for me without mobile for 60 days.

Confirm the status of my phone on priority. REPLACE THE PHONE. Needed a positive feedback on this issue.

    We bought panasonic refrigator on 16/4/12. Model num-NR-BU343 MS2N FOR 27 THOUSAND.from 2nd day of purchase it started giving us trouble.many phone calls i done to shop,after 2 days technician came but the problem never ends.when we open door its smell . I cannot expres in words.iam diying with problem.pls any body help me to solve the problem.it never cool a single water bottle to.i had made a big mistake by purchasing panasonic refrigator..i hate panasonic products.

    I have Panasonic nr bu343, has cooling issues, we called the toll free no, they gave no of some local company for repair ( S K Enterprises), seems like some kind of racket, these SK Enterprises charged me 4430/- for some pcb problem, immediately after the repair the fridge was still not cooling, then they came again and did something, seemed fine, anyways it was winters in Delhi so was very cold, but again now a month ago we have noticed no cooling in refrigerator section, this SK Enterprises are saying it's out of warranty and washing their hands off, SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THIS FRIDGE, DO NOT BUY PANASONIC, SERVICE SUCKS, UNEDUCATED PEOPLE APPOINTED BY PANASONIC TO SERVICE / REPAIR THEIR EQUIPMENT.       Panasonic Refrigator never works properly. So never buy panasonic refrigator. Mechanic also never solve the problem. He just say donot open door always.i buyed it for 27 thousand.it never cool a single water bottle.

            I purchased LCD TV Panasonic from saket city walk 's Pansonic Branded shop , Since beginning LCD 32 c 33 D had issue and after calling several times to customer care ,no engineer visited at my Home .
            Once I esclated this matter to higher Panasonic Managemnet then only engineer visited and had left my home without giving any solution . Engineer also closed call himself without solving issue.

            Later , I again esclated this matter , then only company engineer visisted and after my long argument they confirmed me to replace the faulty TV with upgraded LED .

            I asked them to provide me best price ( Company Price lower then Landing Price ) , Panasonic employee confirmed me over phone that they will provide me best price .

            they came with best price . I also checked price with delhi based dealer they also offered me same price at there shop.

            I then told the same thing to panasonic , Panasonic asked me to pay diffrence amount between current bill amount and new LED price 31,000 . but in there comunication they asked 8,000 to pay .
            If I calculate and subtract 31,000 from my OLD bill then its very less . I aksed them why you cheat then they say this 8,000 you must pay .

            I came to know by this website that panasonic has plenty of issue and there are many customer like me facing issue . they are cheated by there worst non durable product and they have no respect for there customer also they are cheating and playing with customer hard earned money .

            Beaware before purchasing any p-rocut from panasonic such a fraud company .

              i bought a panasonic 1.5 ton split airconditoner on 2 feb 2012. on installation, i found out that it does not run on generator. since then, pansonic service engineers have come 4 times to check the machine, but couldnt solve the problem. since our locality has frequent power outages, a machine that does not work on generator is useless, since half the time there is no electric supply. a panasonic engineer even called from delhi and told us that their acs dont run on generators. couldnt they have specified this when we were buying it? we sure wouldnt have bought it then!!

                this is regarding my complaint no 013592 done on the 6th march. i am sanjay sharma and this is my 4th complaint to them 1st being on the 27th december 2011. 2nd com no 048353,3rd com no 076225,4th com no 013592 latest on the 6th march 2012. since my 1st complaint these people have taken me for a ride not a single person a called me once to inform or update me about the status of my plaza which is under warranty. infact they have taken my plasma away since a month promising me a new one since the A board had a problem which the replaced n the same time the realized that even the panel of the plasma needs to be replaced . inspite of calling them 100 times to hira electronic speaking to concern people like raju,kamal moble no[protected] , avinash [protected], sanchit [protected] and mr vinay wani [protected]. these all are the most irresposible n people on the earth good for nothing who just fool people day and day over.
                i am under serious trouble as my product is under warranty and nothing has been done about it since last 3 months please help me out my mobile no is [protected] pls take strict action against them as their is very poor after sales service i will never buy a PANASONIC PRODUCT AGAIN and make sure the my family and friends also never buy it.

                  From Feb 9, 2012 to till date Mar 10, 2012 - No progress nor any improvement in writing to the customer support teams.

                  I have been escalating the issue, but you people are just taking your own time to resolve the issues,

                  First Selling Defective Products and then hiding before the customers..

                  I would like to bring the same to your Higher Authorities about the control lapses in customer supports.

                  Please look into the matter, All our Vegetables are getting perished and who will bear the consequences for the past 12 days.

                  I would like to stress the importance of refrigerator during summer season - if you all dont know, then switch off your refrigerators for a day or two and then stay in home, then you will come to know the value of the customer.

                  We have bought a panasonic refrigerator model no. NR-A1902 on Oct 5, 2011.

                  Suddenly after 4 months, we were finding that Items are not getting cold, eventhough my power bill was same.

                  Then we found that there is a gap in between the door and the body.

                  Hence, yesterday, I complained to customer care and informed the same.

                  Complaint no. 075919 dated Feb 29, 2012

                  Today by afternoon, i.e. Mar 1, 2012 an executive visited our home at around 2.00 pm and checked the complaint.

                  He informed that the door bottom is broken and it needs to be replaced.

                  I feel that this is a defective door and hence, it got broken in the bottom within few months.

                  Hence, please check the same and assist us in this concern.

                  IT is to inform you that i have put a complain on 9.06.2012 and then when i called the customer care again on next day they told the complain is closed though no work was done further they told me that it was done by mistake ok i never reacted on that i again gave a complain on 11.06.2012 complain no-040257 still now the problem is not solved its just a mere harrasment from your side and now i am sick and tierd of complaining now i am going to file a consumer case as i gave you a lot of complains i think you guys are not taking it seriously now its ur turn to pay the persons who were looking after my complain from customercare are Brijesh, priyanka, pramod and lot many it have become a habit of mine to all call all these people daily and then state the whole matter again and again i wish no product of panasonic will be sold in the market as you are not worth it as per the service is concern its the worst that i have got in ma life and its better to compare with china products which have no warranty and no gurranty at least we know that we wont have to cribble for service waiting a call from the top department and i would not entertain if the call comes tomorrow i wont talk with your useless customer care team who gets the updates from me and want to talk with the highest authority

                    Have purchased Panasonic refrigerator from Tata Chroma store on 27th Dec 2011. The appliance is making sound from the day one. We have filed complaint with the store as well as Panasonic, the serice people visited and siad they need to change some part which they never did. They have closed the complaint without resolution and are not attending the same.

                    Have been following up with store and company but nothing seems to be moving. My mail are not even acknowledged by them

                        I had bought a cube a/c from my local dealer in on 28/03/2010. Since then i have been facing problems with m
                        my a/c. I have had to get it serviced already more than 4 times as i hv a problem with the cooling. Whenever i hv lodged a complaint the a/ has been serviced but my only problem is that once warranty is over i will hv to spend every alternate mnth for servicing. I hv spoken to the area head of panasonic mr. Gilbert also he also is aware about my problem and he had asked e to mail him details but he has not reverted back to me since then. I have only 2 mre mnths remaining on the warranty and i need panasonic to give me a permanent solution. I had also complained regarding the same at the contact centre and i am sure they have a record of all my complaints. I hope my grievience is addressed. Thanks..

                          I behold a last ray of hope which is why I decide to narrate my grievance here and anticipate that the higher authorities of the so called multinational giant (Panasonic India) would ponder asymptotically and do the needful.

                          1. I purchased a Panasonic Plasma TV (Model 42V20) from Paarth Electrotech Dwarka Delhi on 09/03/2011. For the past few days I have been beholding an extremely hazy and blurred picture, with faulty primary colour mixing.
                          2. As a matter of fact, this TV set had exhibited a series of such problems earlier too (Please refer to the complaints through mails of 14/05/2011, 15/05/2011, 16/05/2011, 17/05/2011 and 18/05/2011 and a complaint No. 014055). The faults prevailed even after the visit of Mr. Ashvini Kapoor of Panasonic India, however on his assurance of complete care of the TV, I continued with this set.
                          3. When the picture quality and the colours combination got deteriorated to zero tolerance level, I registered a complaint with the company (mail dated 18/01/2012 Ref. No. PI-CS[protected], and a complaint No 0410070). Consequently, a technician Mr. Shailendra from I-Care workshop visited my premises on 19/01/2012 to examine the TV set. He agreed that the colour amalgamation was faulty, but transferred the blame on airtel, however I had already called the airtel technician on a paid visit to check the connection/signal quality/signal strength and every thing was found to be perfect. I requested him to get my comments on the job sheet but he replied in the negative.
                          4. Meanwhile my three mails to the company and several calls to the customer care were ignored, and after a tiresome perusal I got a call from Mr. Negi of Panasonic India but by then I had gone for short holidays. I requested Mr. Negi to visit on 27/01/2012 to examine the TV set.
                          5. I was shocked to receive an SMS from the service centre (i care) on 23/01/2012 that the work against the complaint number 0410070 has been completed to my satisfaction. This implies as if the service engineer had either accomplished the task by a magic stick or would have broken the lock of my premises to complete the job. This exhibits an utter mess and unprofessional attitude of the service centre authorized by Panasonic.

                          The visit of Mr. Negi on 27/01/2012 was a terrible experience for us. During his nearly 30 minutes stay at my premises in front of the TV set, he tried his level best to befool me and my wife and attempted to prove that the colour mixing was correct though his first impression was that the TV screen was reddish, which in fact is and can be verified.

                          I am writing this comment with a heavy heart and lots of frustration
                          I have bought LCD TV Super Electronics PVT Limited at Uttam Nagar Invoice refernce no is UTTAM NAGAR156/RETAIL/FEB WITN NO ( C/O 23AF27109)ON 18- FEB-2012. MODEL NO IS TH-24C31D

                          The TV stop displaying picture and audio with only horizontal line displaying, subsequently i complained at call centre and one Mr. Anil Rai of I care visited to my place and who said that there is a fault with the Panel and they will take TV back and replace panel, hence they took Tv along with them with Job no provided as P1-ASC[protected]. dated 21 Sept-2012. They return the TV set after some time saying that they have replaced the panel.
                          But i am again confronting the problem and this time after raising with call centre-.One mr. Surinder from I Care visited to my place and told that there is a problem with the Motherboard.This is disgusting that the TV had two major faults within 9 months time keeping aside that mr. Surinder took the Motherboard along with him on 01/12/2012 . The chip of the Board bears the number MT5301BANU 1132-BSSL CTPCG 708.

                          Now the management of Icare is saying the motherboard will be repaired.
                          i am strongly contesting this. As i could not see a major defects with my product repaired with the basic warranty period, but i want the TV set be replaced with immediate effect but very hypocritically the company wants to buy time to elapse the warranty period so that there accountability ends with it is completely unethical, unlawful and violation of the quality parameters.
                          can you please tell me about your resolution . Failing which I will have no option but to fight a legal case against the company.

                            I would like to complaint againt Panasonic Service Center. HI Velocity, 1, SHIREEN MANSION, TARDEO ROAD,, Mumbai.[protected].

                            The representative took a part of the TV for servicing and assured that he would return it in two days. Its been 11 days since we havent got it back. Even after calling at the service center number at[protected], they kept telling that the representative will come in the evening at 7;30 - 8:30. Everyday we waited, but we still have not got the part.

                            They have stalled it for last 11 days and keeps making false promises.

                              I have purchased a Panasonic Digital Camera DMC-F3GF-S having
                              serial No.SDOCAOO6664 from a Dealer named ALLIED
                              SALES,210,FATEHPURI,DELHI VIDE RETAIL INVOICE NO:13419 dated 31.7.2010
                              by paying an amount of Rs.8000/- . But I would like to inform you that
                              while first use & when I started coverting the photographs found that
                              the Data Cable Port is not working . Since I live around 300 Kms from
                              Delhi so it took time to take the Camera back to the same dealer .
                              When I visited again after a gap of three months , he refused to take
                              back the Camera & instead ask me to contact service center to the
                              nearest service center of your station . I came back and thereafter
                              contacted Customer Care Center & from where I came to know the service
                              center located at Dehradun named S.S.Services . I visited the service
                              center on 12.5.2011 and handed over the Camera in the Service Center .
                              But its painful to inform you that till date I haven`t got my Camera
                              back . On 18.7.2011,I visited the service center again and came to
                              know that a Black strip has emerged on its screen . They had sent the
                              same to Delhi service center . But what is my fault . I have not used
                              that Camera for the purpose I bought for and till date after a gap of
                              roughly six months , the same is lying in your service center at
                              dehradun or Delhi . Please let me know as what should I do to take
                              back my illfated Camera after experiencing such a poor , pathatic
                              service experience of such a reputed company . In fact I won`t like to
                              get the damaged Camera without any fault of mine . So you are
                              requested to please do the needful and get some solution for not
                              compelling me to go to the consumer court etc .
                              I will look forward for a positive solution from your side by
                              replacing / providing a New Digital Camera in place of that ill fated
                              Camera .

                                we have bought 42 inch panasonic plasma tv from panasonic brand shop sec 35 chandigarh about 1 year ago .and now are tv is not working properly. its vidio is not visible nd sound quality is very poor .so we are very unstisfied with this plasma tv nd its performance...so we request you that please work on this ....

                                  I have bought one 21" CTV from gunjan electronics sadabad, hathras of Panasonic brand. in 2010 may around. which is now not working since 21.07.11.
                                  For that i have register a complaint of my CTV of not working by going online on panasonic site there i have got some reference no. costumer care guys have given me assurance that my TV will be up in 24 hrs but nobody had been attended my TV problem.
                                  When i again contacted to costumer care regarding why my problem not attended he told me that panosonic service centre is in mathura and agra and from there my village distances is nearby 40-45 kms this was the reason. today is 11.08.11.

                                  Almost 20 days has been covered but nobody attended my problem even though I have been in talk to service centre on daily basis.

                                  Please help me and take proper action against Panasonic India ltd that when they can not provide service in villages then why they(panasonic) selling thier TVs in remote areas.
                                  Seeking a proper action in the above defined problem.

                                  Request you to take necessary action.



                                  If my registered problem is not attended till Friday 12.08.11 I will go register a complaint against Panasonic in consumer forum …

                                  And now days it is very easy to file a complaint in consumer forum as it is gone online……………

                                  I am totally unhappy because of your service that 8 days are over but nobody has been come to us to repair my CTV.

                                  Whenever, I am calling, every time your engg tells next day. Can you please tell me when this next day will come?



                                  I am in Lucknow right now but family in village with my lovely sister and she is addicted to watch TV.

                                  Every day she asking me bhaiya TV is not OK till now and don’t buy Panasonic TV from next time.



                                  If such thing persists I will repair my TV outside come what may. Any way I have to keep my family happy.

                                    I have purchased the Panasonic refrigerator of Model no. NR-BU342SS1N on the date of 12th November,2010

                                    After some days approximately 2-3 months noticeable amount of water started leaking put from the lower section of refrigerator i.e. freezer.
                                    I made a complaint to the Regional Trainer(Consumer Service Division) several times.
                                    Each time i made a complaint their response was like "we'll solve the problem but we will have to check your refrigerator. They want the problem to occur in front of them & this has happened twice.

                                    Before few days they have kept my refrigerator under observation for more then 10 days but still they failed to identify the problem & my solution was kept aside.

                                    The product is in the warranty period & i hope that my complaints get solved as soon as possible
