SIR THIS IS REF TO COMPLAINT ON OUR NEWLY BOUGHT LCD TV WHICH IS JUST 6 MONTHS OLD AND WE ARE FACING PROBLEM TO GET IT SET TO WORKING CONDITION. INITIALLY FACED LOT OF PROBLEM TO GET MY COMPLAINT REGISTERED AND THEN ITS ALLOCATION TO THE RIGHT LOCATION . FINALY GOT MY COMPLAINT REGISTERED ON 10TH NOV.2010 #REF NO 020153 AND AFTER A DAY ONE OF THE ENGINEER VISITED AND TOOK ONE OF THE PART FOR REPAIR AND RETURNED AFTER TWO DAYS BUT IT DID NOT WORK OUT AND AS PER ENGINEER POWER PCV NEEDS TO BE CHANGED AND SAID IT WD TAKE 7DAYS AS PART WD COME FROM CHENNAI SO AFTER ALMOST WAITING FOR 10 DAYS STARTED CHASING THE ENGINEER AND OUR PHONE HAD BEEN UNANSWERED AND TDY AGAIN AFTER E-MAIL TO CUSTOMER CARE GOT A CALL FROM A GENTLEMAN TO FOLLOW UP THE CASE AND GOT A CALL FROM ENGINEER TO ITS REPLY THAT TV NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO SERVICE CENTRE AS THERE IS NO SURITY AS TO WHEN THE PART WD CM FROM CHENNAI.

PLS REQUEST YR KIND ATTENTION AS ITS NEW LCD TV MODEL NO. TH-L32C8D AND NEEDS CHANGE OF POWER PCV AS TLD BY ENGINEER AS IT IS NOT GETTING STARTED AT ALL. HOPE MY EFFORT TO SHARE THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WD NOT GO WAIST AND WD GET AN EARLY RESPONSE.

Panasonic TV — faulty LCD TV

his is reference to Consumer case#84/09 against Panasonic TV at Janak
Puri Branch under judgement of Mr. J.P. Sharma.

This case was file 1.5 years back and still we have not recieved any
result due to regular delay and misbehaviour from court at Janakpuri
as they do not listen or help to consumers.

We consumer are totally helpless by such a treatment as consumer
courts have forget that
these are held to provide us justice but they are frustrating us by
such a response.

We had purchased a LCD TV for Rs.34000/- which stops functioning after
1 month of purchase.

1) On first visit from service engineer we were told we will recieve
replacement withing i week but after regular follow ups dealer
neglected to provide any help i.e . K Square network.

2) No jobsheet was provided by service engineer and they misbehaved
with me and my wife.
we complained to local police station and filed written complaint
against them.

3) We again called the service engineer and he without any physical
check asked for Rs.26000/- from us and again no job sheet was provided
as they neglected to give the same.

4) We have been fighting for last one and half years but not given any
justice as we have filed this case with lot of hope.

5) We have been given a date every time we go for hearing and when
asked anything they
opposite party.


This is last and final request to help in this regard as if not given
any justice we have to take backfoot step by taking this case back.

There were lot of hope from consumer court but such a behavior is
taking all the trust we were having.

    We had purchased a television set 12th of october 2010 at your dealer in T.Nagar G.N.Chetty Road.We were gifting it to a friend in Pune. So, we arranged it to be transported to Pune on 13th. The Panasonic show room people had failed to test it in front o[censored]s on 13th , claiming that they had packed it tight to endure the transportaion. However, when the TV set reached Pune to our dismay we found that the valuable gift we have given was damaged. There has been a LCD crack. The showroom people claim that it would have happened while travelling, However, the goods were tightly packed to our knowledge ( as claimed by the Panasonic showroon) with enough of thermocoles and lot of protection and the goods were received in the same condition in Pune. When all the packing was removed and the TV was connected , it had a crack in the LCD. Hence, we doubt that the showroom people had changed the TV in the span of 24 hours during which we had left the television set with them. There hesitance to test the TV in front o[censored]s again on the 13th confirms us that they have done some mal practice. Kindly look into the case. I never thoght that trusting could have been this big a crime.Entrusting the television set with the showroom people ( dealer of Panasonic ) not a multi brand outlet has lead us to so many confusion. Further, the staffs had procastinated the giftee and harassed him from not giving the right toll free number. They were trying to play around for seven days because after that no maufacturing defect would be covered. Henceforth, we are seeking justice. Kindly, replace the Television set.

      I bought a panasonic 342L from KOHINOOR electronics DADAR last week, was mazed to find a broken refrigerator bulb cover in the fridge, i compalined to KOHINOOR regarding the faulty piece but to my amasrment the sales person there who was so sweet when we went to buy the fridge was least interested in helping us.
      Hence would like to warn potential customers to think a million times before buying any home appliance from KOHINOOR ELECTRONICS DADAR becasue its ur money at stake and not theirs be thought ful !!!!!1

        panasonic colour tv set, bought in sept'06 started getting swtiched off automatically while running from 21/10/10 made complaint to panasonoic on 22/10/10--complaint no.-028211
        tv technician sujit manna arrvd on 23/10/10, we were watchng tv b4 his arrival but it again got swtchd off by itself
        he opend the set , started fidgeting with it, there was an electric spark inside the tv board.after smtm he said an "srt" was needed whch he would bring on 25/10/10 n he refused to believe that the tv was wrkin properly apart frm the previously mentioned problem
        the set is completely dead now n he insisted that it was so before he came n he lft after taking Rs276/= as service charge
        on 25/10/10 he came n opnd the set, after smtm said we had to tk it to their office near garia metro as now "smv" is not wrkng n the "srt" which he said he had brought [ though he didn't know its price] whch we hadnt seen, didnt help
        we told him to arng for company conveyance to tk the tv set n we'ld pay the fees, he left saying that he'ld call on 26/10/10 at 10am which he didnt
        why was our tv set in running condition- apart frm that prblm- left in a totally dead condition?
        why was he so reluctant to explain what was exactly wrong with our set?
        why hadnt he call? did he realise that he had made a mess with our working tv set?
        is this the sewrvice to be expected frm company people?

          I purchased a Panasonic Home Theater (Model SCPT 470) from Sarat Bose Road’s Panasonic Shoppe, as the sales person Mr. Kunal told me that 470 is better than 480 I completely trust him as Panasonic man and bought 470 model but your this system is not supporting most of the CDs (Original), but these CDs are playing normally on other DVDs but PT470 cant read it or some picture is coming in smaller size in my new Panasonic Plazma TV where as other DVDs playing normally (SONY / PIONEER / SAMSUNG ETC) YOUR SERVICE PERSONNEL ALSO SEE THE THING, HE TOOK THE DVD, BUT NEXT DAY(today 20.10.10.) HE CAME AND TOLD ME, PANASONIC CANT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, I ALSO ASKED HIM THAT PLS SPECIFY WHAT TYPE OF DVD WILL PLAY IN YOUR SYSTEM, HE CAN NOT GIVE A REPLY – I LODGED A COMPLAIN ON YOUR TOLL FREE NO 18.10.2010. (Complain No. is 022555).

          One people rang me (23.10.2010) and told me that Original DVDs (more than 5 layer) will not work and other DVDs may work if they use REGION FREE REMOTE BUT TILL DATE THEY YET TO DO THAT.
          I also asked them (Panasonic Brand Shop) to change the product, but they don't.

          IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL FROM THE BRAND LIKE PANASONIC THAT IN 8 DAYS THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE A DECISION REGARDING A OLD MODEL SOLD BY PANSONIC'S OWN BRAND SHOP, NOT BY ANY RETAILER WHERE AS THEY USE TO TELL IF ANYONE PURCHASE PRODUCT FROM BRAND-SHOP HE WILL BE A PRIVILEGE CUSTOMER - I HOPE THIS TYPE OF 'PRIVILEGE' NO BODY SHOULD EXPECT.

            Extended Warranty not being issued


            I purchased a Panasonic LCD TV, Model No.TH-L32X10D from AB ELECTRONICS, D-25 MOHAN SINGH MARKET, SEC-6 RK PURAM, NEW DELHI-110022 on 22/03/2010 with their invoice no - 4669 and TV serial No.%945X03585. I had sent the warranty card No.LCDT-54847 to their address to register but till date I have not received the warranty registration letter from them.

            On contacting them at chennai address they are washing their hands off by saying that they have not received the card, which was posted to them affixing 10 Rs. stamp. the address also was preprinted on the card so there is no reason of it reaching the wrong address. Now can you help with what legal options I have to opt to make them issue the warranty card. The bill and product registration is in my name. What is the fuss they are creating to issue one card.Do not know why panasonic head sitting in india and japan look into these complaints. just trying to loot indian customers with the worst after sales service.They must show their interest to the customers for the AFTER SALES SERVICE.

            Panasonic TV — Regarding not providing Warranty Card

            I m Shalini Srivastava residing at VB-135,WZ-154 B First Floor,Virender Nagar,Lane-5,New Delhi. I have purchsed Panasonic TV ,Model No- TC-21 RX 20C on 8 Nov,2009 from Audio Point ,Shop No-3 , GL -17, Hari Nagar Jail Road ,New Delhi.

            They have not provide us warranty card and Manual Booklet along with the TV and when i asked about this they behaved rudely. we asked many times and lastly they said.." JO KARNA HAI KAR LO,....HAM NAHI DENGE " Due to this, I am unable to operate the TV properly.

            So Kindly take possible action as soon as Possible.

                Last 15 days the volume is fluctuating (Every channel) and now last 5 days there is no volume at all as good as mute and picture quality is also very poor.
                We have complained on dated 2/10/2010 Number: 1010-B020870.
                Yesterday 4th October service engineer had visited our residence to check the LCD and found that speaker is faulty and it has to be replaced and according to him it will take 2 days to procure the parts.
                After so many calls to customer care no. 66227722 ringing only, sales executive Mr. Suraj Sharma not receiving the calls and floor managers mobile is switched off where to contact???
                I would like to ask as to why a new LCD should have so many defects.
                My humble request to you, Kindly replace my LCD at the earliest as part require are not easily available.

                sai service station,s.v. road, andheri(west) — horrible service & very bad management

                i have pulsar 200 from last novermber...am doing servicing rgularly from the sai service, s.v. rd angheri (west)... i've done atleast 5-6 srvicing but m not at all satisfied with the work they hv done... first of all plssssss someone teach them to just washing bikes... even my buliding sesurity guard can tech them to wash bikes... any ways there are so many comlaints i have if any one can help me please let me know... and they didn't even repair the thing i showed them...

                Panasonic — faulty mobiles, company still not offering refund.

                Hi,
                panasonic is a well know brand from japan.
                But beware, you may also be taken for a ride like i was by Panasonic india.
                GD55 and G60 phones were withdrawn very soon as company noticed a number of in-built errors.
                The major one was phone getting hang- and one is forced to remove the battery to restart the phone.
                the service people merely reinstalled software but that never cured the problem.

                So the smart managers of panasonic stopped the support very soon.
                i am demanding refund as my phones went numerous repairs during warranty but still not cured.

                Panasonic is not able to remove the faults and not giving reasons for NOT OFFERING ME THE REFUND.

                I suggest to all indian consumers to beware from panasonic as the brand may be good in other parts of the world but definately not in india.

                Yes, even I have seen people are not active, they are working just as a routine.
                secondly, the place is so cramped, U dont feel like and its not practical waiting there for a long,
                so that can be a major coz for 'Non Working Environment', and its affecting on the service I feel.
                apart from that, about the management & staff relation, looking at the staff, I have a doubt.

                So, first of all, expand the space, or looking at the small place n staff, take less burden for better service.

                Dear Sir,


                This is to inform you that we have purchased PANASONIC PLASMA Model No.:TH-42PA60H- SI. No YQ7220753 dated 01/07/2007 (Sales Invoice no.44018 FROM NEXT RETAIL SHOP(darling digital world pvt ltd-3/2 officers line, Vellore-1

                It is a good set, and after one year of purchase(unfortunately warranty was over) i started getting a blue line across the screen, and then after several visits from the local panasonic service center in Chennai, initially they said that the board is faulty and need to be replaced which will cost around 40K, my heart skipped a beat when i heard the amount, to our good luck after 6 months this issue got solved automatically.

                Now for the last 2 months i am gettiing a lot of GARBLE on the screen after 5 mts of switching off, , initially it is less and after 10-15 mts no picture is seen only fully garbled grains.Again i had called the service people and they said nothing can be done now it is in the stage of changing the board which is still costing me 40k, and there was a suggestion to replace the system because the original cost of this same model is costing only 42K.

                i fail to understand how such a branded product like panasonic is giving so much of problems. The reason we are bying branded products is because of its reputation in the market.

                I need somebody to look into this very seriously and advice me your feedback urgently. Or i need to take it up else where which i am ready to do since i have come to a point of frustration with your product.

                My refrigerator - NR BW414SS1N, has again developed the same problem of not cooling. The problem persists since the time of purchase in April 2011.

                I had bought cube Ac(1.5 ton) from Shri krishna refrigeration jaipur on 18/04/2014, but when i installed it at my home, There was no cooling effect.Then i call the dealer there was refgrigeration gas problem. After then still the cooling is inefficient. Another problem is that the outdoor unit does not gets tripped off, thereby no maintaining the temperature in the room and also increasing the electricity consumption. I trie to contact the dealer various times but it was all in vain.                 Already lodged complaints twice and Expected so much of response from your side, but painful reg my Panasonic LED TV (TH-28A400DX) of S. no. OLX114745B-0710.
                Both the times, ur technician came and the same answer that to change the panel and it costs of @ Rs. 15, 000/-.

                Purchased the item on 14.7.2014. The complaint arised after one year warranty and one month. That means, after the warranty period, no proper response will be there by your side. Got so much belief on the companys name. But now I have decided further not to purchase any of your concern.

                No proper guidance/response. Atleast ur technician have come twice and was unable to understand the complaint.
                If I have to spend more reg the panel, I would have gone for new brand of other company.

                Why, it cant be repaired by your technical personnels and make a service to me. Because, it is of only one month more than the warranty period. If it cannot be done by your side, Then you can see my response for your company.

                As one person cannot do anything, don't think so. If my set will be not serviced from your side, then you can see the reverse effect from my side.


                If you can make arrangements of its service, then OK and otherwise... I will not say, but do it.
                As yours is a largest company, can it not be serviced. Only the response from your side is not to change the set/panel. Cant it be repaired perfectly, so that your company continues by good name .

                Near about 8 month back purchased a panasonic gd25c mobile phone. at the very beginning which was working fine. after a month start giving white screen in between, while end of the call, after a week giving white screen even at the time of call also. then after a month its start giving some software updating screens. finally which got full dead on 7th month. When i given the phone for servicing on iQor mg road gurgaon (panasonic authorized service center) on 22nd Devember 2015. A lady named Vineeta, she agreed to provide my phone back within 7 to 10 days. On 4th Jan 2016 when i contacted they informed they need one more week.                 i want to inform you that i bought a Panasonic Led TV L42A400 on 17-06-14 with three year warranty, since last month my TV is not working, we called the call center number further they have registered a complaint and provided us the complaint number #[protected].
                in a couple of day a technician came to our house and said there is some power issue, further he added that the TV is not under warranty, the dealer sold us by giving wrong info. anyhow we followed with the call center number they said that the part is not available in nearby places . the technician team have ordered the part from Chennai. which is on the way to our home .
                after a week when the technician came to our house with the part, they tied to fix the TV but unfortunately they said that the panel is not working, we need to change the panel of the TV .
                after listing the feedback from the technician we went to the dealer . and asked them to give the warranty card of my TV since they did not gave the warranty card at the time of purchase . but he refused to give the card and said that the bill is only the warranty card and it’s for one year . the dealer made a fool out o[censored]s .

In month of June around last week, I again call the same person to get my TV repaired and he informed that cost is Rs.19200 but informed me to call again in month of july after implementation of GST. In July I again called him and he informed Rs.19700 but in between some Mr. Malhotra who said that cost is Rs.29700 . I argue for the cost how it so increased due to GST . He replied that he is in charge of service center and can show me the prices if I want. I donot argue more and cutt the call as he was not talking sensible .

                On 2nd August I again call your customer care to raise the complaint and I receive the complaint no.R[protected]. On 3rd August I received call from your service person whose mobile no.[protected] and he informed that the cost is Rs.26600.00 and one moth warranty. I informed him to sent me quote with warranty and payment term. I forward him my mail ID.

                In the evening around 5.35PM I received a call from your call center to know the status of my complaint vide no.[protected]. I narrated the above matter to him and he said that may be the person is not knowing the correct price and you will get the quote with correct price and also have conversation with your Lucknow Engineer.

                Today morning again I received call from your call center vide no.[protected] to know the status of my complaint . I again narrated the above matter. He took the Lucknow engineer on the line and said me to have conversation. Your call center person was so polite but your engineer was very rude and was taking as I have made complaint against him which i have not done. If I received any call from your call center and they want to know about status of complaint, I have to tell everything.

                I have received the quote which I am forwarding the same to you. Now they written Rs 24000.00 for Panel without mentioning HSN code and GST % and GST no. They have also mention service charge Rs.1000.00 with service tax 15% and value as
                180 which 18% of Rs.1000. without mentioning SAC code and GST no. of Lucknow. If TV is under warranty how they are quoting service charges.They have not mention the warranty.

                Now from above you may have understand my situation. I am in dilemma either to get it repaired or throw it as I am not sure about your services and price. In three months how prices keep changing I do not understand. Due to GST such hike in price will never happen.

                I am also working in Multinational company and service head of Lucknow Branch are dealing with scientific institutions and hospitals. Our prices for spares has been reduced .

                I request you to please look into matter and solve my problem so that I may get my TV repaired.

                  i have purchased one cordless phone make panasonic, from reliance digital store, at ecil cross road, hyderabad on 30.8.2009. right from day one it is giving problem and it was reported to them many times. each time the instrument is taken and not properly repaired and is given back

                  after repeated attempts, on the fourth time i gave the instrument for repair on 19.9.2009 and till now it isnot repaired. i wanted replacement or cash back, to that extent i gave a letter to the stores, there is no responce from the stores.

                    In March 2009, I had purchased a Panasonic Refrigerator 329 ltrs Model No. NRB363V from Croma, Juhu. At the time we had gone to purchase a Samsung refrigerator as we were very happy with our other Samsung fridge (600 ltrs) which is doing extremely well for the past 8 years and the customer Service from them is also very prompt.

                    At Croma they convinced us that Panasonic is a bigger brand and their customer service is also very good. This turned out to be untrue. On Thursday, 23rd September 2010 suddenly the fridge stopped working. Immediately we called Croma and gave them the invoice no.[protected]. They gave us a number of Panasonic, where we got another number which no one responded. I called back Croma, they responded that I would receive a call from Panasonic, which never happened.

                    Finally at night I checked Panasonic Website where I found the Toll free no. The operator there assured me that the complaint will be attended within 24 hours. After waiting for 24 hours still no one came nor did I receive any call. So I called back and to my surprise the operator says that the earlier operator made a mistake and that it actually means 24 working hours. I pleaded with him that my stuff in the fridge will get damaged by that time. To this he assured me that someone would definitely come on Saturday 25/09/2010. On Saturday evening again I called the Toll free no. where the operator gave me the number of the technician Mr. Harish ([protected]).

                    Mr. Harish assured me that he would look into my complaint immediately. At 8 pm I called Mr. Harish, again he assured me that a person is on his way from Khar and should reach soon. At that moment I was at Juhu Croma looking for a microwave oven, and again the sales guy told me that Panasonic is a better brand than Samsung and the service of Panasonic is better (I hope Samsung hears this).

                    Till 10 pm Saturday night no one came & Mr. Harish living upto Panasonic & Croma standards did not call & stopped taking my calls. Today, on Sunday it has been 4 days and I have given up on Panasonic & Croma and have finally called a local repair guy to attend the problem. My stuff which includes exotic vegetables from Himachal & Delhi worth about 9000/- is now damaged and useless.

                    It has been a harassing and depressing experience and I hope to send this message to as many people as possible through the internet domain.

                      I baught a PANASONIC refrigerator, model no.NR-B34M8-S5, sl. no. 9S5300530, in the month of January, 2010. Since then it is not working well. I complained to the service station and their engineers came to our place and did some adjustments but of no avail. Then engineers in the last visit suggested us to change the place of the refrigerator from the kitchen to lobby as the lobby is better ventilated. So we changed the place of the refrigerator. Now it has been kept in the lobby and it is very well ventilated, not covered from any side and also there is a fan just above it which is working all the day to help the rerigerator to maintain its cool inside. But inspite of all this the working is not much improved, its almost same rather i am now paying extra for the electricty which the fan is consuming. Then again the engineer on his next visit found that some part known as 'SENSORS' is not working properly. They assured me that it would be replaced soon, but even after 10 days no body has turned up. Now I am requesting the company to replace this defective piece. I ADVICE EVERYBODY NOT TO BUY PANASONIC PRODUCT.

                      Dear Sir,
                      I purchased a refrigerator model 310 Lt. Elite Iceberg on 14th April 2008 within one year and one month of its purchase it has stopped cooling properly.
                      On 14th May 2009, I complained to your service station on Tel On. [protected].
                      Your company engineer changed the gas and the door hinge. But proper cooling could not be restored. Your engineer is giving many excuses for it.
                      It was astonishing for me to find that your refrigerator required a gas change so early while in the refrigerators made by other companies I observed that gas change is not required even after 10 years.
                      The working of your engineer was also not upto the mark. Your engineer changed the hinge but he could not fit it properly. To make my point clear I am sending you the photographs of the hinge and door.
                      Further, it is mentioned on the refrigerator that stabilizer is not required to run it. On the contrary your engineer has told us that stabilizer must be installed. While the house hold stabilizer of 5 KVA is installed already, it is to be noted that at the time of the purchase, seller told us that stabilizer is not required for this model and showed the label fixed on it. We are confused. Kindly make this point clear.
                      In the light of the facts mentioned above, we hope that you will do the needful and we will be a fully satisfied customer again.

                      my 310 lts whirlpool refrigerator was not cooling since dec 2010. compressor was under warranty. complaint was lodged with the company . the compressor has been changed 3 times. now an oversized compressor has been ut in. however it is causing excessive cooling and the food items are getting frozen even in the 2nd rack outside the freezer. despite several complaints no help given by whirlpool.

                        I purchased Panasonic Plasma TV model no. TH-P42C10D in Feb. 2010. The TV developed a display defect for which a comnplaint was registered with their service center :

                        The TV was examined and I was told that it needs replacement. Now it's been a month and no one is responding. They keep telling excuses for the delay. Now they say that it'll take at least a month before they could tell me as to when the TV will be replaced.

                        That's a very irresponsible act on the part of the service center of a world renowned brand. Please look into the matter.

                        Panasonic 750w Stereo System — Product mishandled when given for servicing..

                        My stereo system is a 5 in 1 CD changer with 2-way tape recorder an tuner.. Its tape recorder was not functioning properly, so i gave it for servicing at a local dealer. But when i got it back, it was further more out of sorts, without even display working properly. They were too rude to even reciprocate properly... They just said they cant do anything about it. Later we came to know the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) was itself damaged by them.

                        With respect to my experience with Panasonic I am putting this complaint. Following things happened: 1. Initially after putting the complaint the service engineer came saw and went back saying he will get back. He calls after 2 days saying there is no problem it is common thing.

                        2. After that I put the complaint to Chennai office and after around 1 week or 10 days I got a call from Chennai (Mr. Srinivas) who asked me details of the problem.

                        3. I sent the snapshots which he asked the very next day.

                        4. After around ten days I receive a call from him and he acknowledged the observation saying dark spot and white light portions are there.

                        4. After that it took more than 15 days for an engineer to pay a visit.

                        5. One week back engineer visited the place and observed the things. He was not willing to accept the dark area problem even after I demonstrated him.

                        6. Although he accepted the white light problem (torch effect) on a black screen but when he called Mr Srinivas from my place he did not mention that and he said that there is no problem.

                        7. Even after that I didnt receive any call till now from Mr. Srinivas.

                        All these stuffs are really disappointing and I really feel hurt by their negligence and harassment.
                        Mr. Srinivas had seen the snaps and agreed that there has been some problem now their engineer says its fine. This is really disappointing. If you feel I can share the snaps with your esteemed technical team. Please help me in some way I am really dejected by Panasonic and will never suggest anyone of it because of their poor and pathetic service. I have last hope left on you to help me.

                        The TV has started to have blurred IMAGES exactly after one and half years of purchase. As well, the TV has developed a orange tint and is darker than normal. We bought it from Vijay Sales Vashi. The first technician showed up the very next day followed by a second one the day after.
                        Both of them spent exactly 10 min staring at the Tv. First one noted something and second one videographed the quality of pictures. They left quickly without even trying adjust the setting (i.e. tuning, contrast, brightness etc) forget the technical checking. Next day the technician informed that the panel has gone bad and has to be replaced and will have to pay Rs 31000. Everytime I try to call up their Chennai Office the call gets disconnected.
                        As a customer I felt more humiliated by their treatment rather than loss of my hard earned money.

                        I would request you to please look into the matter.

                        After working @ 2 months we found some problem with the device and send to Panasonic authorized service station H.D.SERVICES on 4th Jan-2010. Please find enclosed herewith the scanned copy of job card as an attachment. Kindly download the same.

                        Surprisingly we got the answer as under
                        “ Inside the camera - found Dust. – Lens unit repaired If problem is occurred then advise to replaced lense unit on chargable basis.” (The charge told to us verbally was @ 4500 Rs.)

                         Please note that if there is any dust found in the camera it must be done due to the faulty sealing components of the camera.
                         This camera is under warrantee and it must be changed without any charge.
                         How can one pay 4500 for the repair when complete new camera is purchased at the rate of 6500 INR????

                        Now, we request your kind honor to advise what to do with the camera, as it is giving the same problem?

                        i bought a home theatre system(model no. SGPT 470) of PANASONIC on 10.05.10 from Promises electronics kolkata. The same was installed sometime in june. the set was giving some problem from day one. unfortunately the set became Dead in last week of july. After lot of persuation someone from their service center attended on 4th August (complaint no. 02CHCA004)and informed that the set can not be repaired here and it needs to be taken to workshop.After few days i started enquiring about my set from the service center and also wrote various mail to the company but nobody bothered till first week of september. In the first week of september Regional Manager of Panasonic contacted us and informed that some part are not available therefore they promised to replace the set with a new one.However, to my utter surprise he sent back my old set and said that necessary repairing had been done.

                        Panasonic Tc - P54vt25 — poor product quality and poor support

                        I'm the unhappy owner of a viera 54" VT25 (TC-P54VT25), it has got broken after less than 2 month I bought it and after almost 3 month is still on repair...

                        the quality of the TV was really poor since the beginning, it shown some strange buzing came from the back... I've contacted the support center just after 2 week I bought the TV and after some discussions they suppose to call me back in few days, but I've never got back any calls from them... as we use to say in such cases... "you can see a good day since the morning"

                        after one month an half the TV has dead! The shops were I bought it came to my place and picked up the TV and they kept it for almost a month... The shop just told me that they were waiting for a new board which got broken (later I heard was the PC card)... I was really disappointed and I asked directly to Panasonic VIERA support to replace my TV, so they told me to get back my TV and after that they could come to my place, collect the TV and start the procedure to send me a new TV... in this case, at least, I got a really poor loan TV! Previously I didn't get even that...

                        Now It is already almost 2 months that Panasonic piked up the TV from my house and they suppose to call me back in few days... never got a call from them... I called them several time and every time they suppose to call me back in few days, but... as you can guess... I've never got back any single call...

                        I'm really frustrated... I'm even thinking to buy a new TV and leave the other to them!!!
                        I really don't know how to manage anymore this situation... :(
                        For sure I'll never ever buy anymore a PANASONIC product in my life!
                        and any other Japanese product, since I got similar problems with a SHARP some times ago... while, I should say, I've never had trouble with Korean products until now... just my experience.

                        Hi,
                        On monday 15/04/2013, my Plasma TV turn off and didn't get turn on after trying several times. Red Light Blink few times when we plug in the switch and then nothing happen.
                        I log the service request # PI-ASC[protected] in Panasonic 24*7 helpdesk. As per them they told me that service engineer will visit within 24 hours.
                        But till now 17/04/2013 no one has visited, Even at service centre no one is picking the phone.

                        It's really frustrated to buy from panasonic.

                        That's a very irresponsible act on the part of the service center of a world renowned brand. Please suggest me what to do.

                            I had purchased a Panasonic 32 inch LCD TV 32LE7C from BIG BAZAAR, Koramangala, Bangalore on 14.02.2010. After 2 months, the
                            TV developed some problems leading to dark picture. Even at 100% contrast & brightness the picture was barely visible.
                            The problem was reported to Big bazaar, who in turn asked me to contact Panasonic customer service with the warranty
                            card. A complaint was registered and M/s DTS electronics, Richmond circle, Bangalore Collected my TV for servicing

                            The Job card no.is PI ASC [protected]. After 2 weeks, DTS wanted some clarification in the bill from Big Bazaar and
                            Big bazaar has certified that the purchase was genuine and the TV is still in warranty. All the required paper work
                            from Big bazaar was submitted 8 weeks ago to DTS. DTS has not serviced the TV so far and whenever I contact their
                            manager, vague replies are given to me saying that the model is old and suggesting that BigBazaar may have kept it
                            for more than year before selling at some discount and warranty is not applicable .

                            I am aware of the legal position that warranty starts from the day of sale and not from the day it was stocked in
                            Bigbazaar and discount given by Big bazaar has no bearing on the obligations of Panasonic in discharging warranty.

                            As on to-day DTS /Pansonic have not carried out the warranty repair and repeated mails to Head customer service , Southern region have not yielded any response .Also the customer service call centre in Chennai is not reachable on phone.

                            Kindly take up with Panasonic top bosses as there are plenty of complaints posted in your website for the same TV model (32 LE7C) I purchased with the same defect symptoms confirming they are all manufacturing defects.

                            The TV has started to have blurred IMAGES exactly after one and half years of purchase. As well, the TV has developed a orange tint and is darker than normal. We bought it from Vijay Sales Vashi. The first technician showed up the very next day followed by a second one the day after.
                            Both of them spent exactly 10 min staring at the Tv. First one noted something and second one videographed the quality of pictures. They left quickly without even trying adjust the setting (i.e. tuning, contrast, brightness etc) forget the technical checking. Next day the technician informed that the panel has gone bad and has to be replaced and will have to pay Rs 31000. Everytime I try to call up their Chennai Office the call gets disconnected.
                            As a customer I felt more humiliated by their treatment rather than loss of my hard earned money.

                              I purchased my Panasonic Viera TV as a new year gift for my wife on 1st Jan 2009. I went to the only authorised shop in Noida as listed on Panasonic Website : M/s Rythm House in Sector-18 Noida. Have paid full amount with tax and have the bill of purchase too ! The service that I got from the shop and ASCs has been pathetic. Within 15days of purchase, my TV konked off and was made working only in Apr'09 after much pain.

                              I thought that atleast the TV is working now and I have peace of mind, but since Dec'09 till date, the condition of TV continues to worsen with coloured lines and a 1inch black band covering the left side of my TV screen. No service support - the ASCs do not have a clue on how to repair and I am almost sure to loose my full money since now they want to wash off their hands saying that it is out of warranty. I am sure that this is a manufacturing/ design latent defect and has nothing to do with warranty - if Panasonic really cared for their consumers, they would replace the TV by now.

                              Extract from my complaint to M/s Panasonic on 24th Feb 2009 (more than a year ago......I have kept copy of many correspondences, if Panasonic is interested):
                              "
                              I purchased the TV on 1st Jan '09 from M/s Rythm house (inv.7576) - less than 2 months ago !!!
                              1) Remote control defective from day of installation. Was asked to try another set of batteries. 1 week lost
                              following up with your ASC - M/s Shivay Electronics who disowned the works after trying to rectify at their
                              workshop. Another 6 weeks lost chasing next ASC to whom call is marked - M/s Alpha as well as personal
                              visits to Dealer (M/s Rhtym House, NOIDA).

                              > Remote has been handed over to M/s Rythm House on 13th Feb'09 as per advise of dealer and ASC (M/s
                              Alpha). Have been told to wait for another 4-5 days!!!

                              with promise of sending technician same day. Reminder made to Dealer and ASC (M/s Alpha) on 23rd Feb'09
                              and was promised of action by 24th Feb'09.

                              Log of events till 4th July 2010:

                              1st Jan'09 Purchased TV from only Authorised seller in Noida (as per Panasonic website) with Bill and Tax paid
                              Jan'Feb'09 Problem in remote and TV - complaints lodged (as per mail extract above)
                              Mar'09 TV remote replaced under warranty by Rhythm House - new remote is not very effective , hence transferred its functions to Cable TV service Provider's (Aitel's) remote. Issue closed.
                              Apr'09 TV Power supply board replaced under warranty. TV had to be dropped and picked up from the ASC (Alpha) personally where complaint was got booked by Rhythm House. It took almost 6 weeks for TV to return as the Power supply boards had to be imported as per info. from Rythm house and Alpha
                              Dec'09-Feb'10 Vertical Coloured lines started to appear on left hand side of TV. Asked Airtel (cable connection provider) to check. Airtel Engr visited End Feb'10 to check the connection and informed problem is in TV
                              Mar'10 Asked Rhythm house send service Engr. Black colour vertical band appeared
                              Mid Mar'10 Met Rhythm house personally to remind after multiple calls
                              End Mar'10 Met Rhythm house personally to remind. Was informed that the TV is out of warranty and will be repaired on chargeable basis. Accepted same.
                              Mid Apr'10 Complaint lodged directly with Panasonic - no one turned up
                              End Apr'10 Service Engineer visited from Alpha Radio (sent courtsey Rhythm house) - he informed that TV cannot be repaired and cost of repair will be almost same as cost of new TV. Talked to his manager/ ower - same was reconfirmed
                              May-Jun Checked on Internet and taken advise from friends who informed that TV can be repaired and cost is not so high
                              4th July '10 Checked on internet and found Panasonic ASC as Bionic, Noida and compliant lodged - complaint no. 3020

                              Panasonic is a hopeless company and one should avoid purchasing the products of the company. The Name Pansonic has lost its glory and canot survive more on its past performance unless and unitill customer satifaction is not achieved. We as a customer can teach a lesson to such companies by not buying their products. I had purchased two TVs from Panasonic one in 1990 that failed within 2 years. Hoping that it could have happened by chance I againp urchased a 32' LCD Viera in June 2009 which again gone out of order by July, 2010. The negative perormance of the com[any is on rise and I suggest all to avoid Panasonc products.

                                I bought a TV last sunday i.e 27th June from Dawars Open World in Galleria Gurgaon and the same was fitted on 28th June. By 30th June there was a vertical line running in the picture. I called up the customer center in Gurgaon and they were very unprofessional. I had to follow up many times for any action to be taken place.

                                Further, once they finally made it to my house to take pictures of the TV they took half an hour to take pictures and next day called me to say that the picture was not clear andf that i had to be home for another round of pictures.. Suprisingly they refused to acknowledge the inconvenience it was causing me as we are all in office in the afternoon and they refused to accept that it was thier fault fr not checking the picture the first time round.

                                It is rather dissapointing that a global brand as Panasonic has sells such damaged goods and the customer care is least apologetic about the inconvenience caused. It further has a worse customer service. They were rude, least accomodating and really bad at their job....

                                I your complaint closed yet ? I face the same problem and have been running from pillar to post (Panasonic and ASCs) - no respose yet !!!
                                I am another person who can testify for the bad customer services of the so called Global brand Panasonic India.
                                Please read my e -mails with the Head of customer service, Southern region of Panasonic India. after exhausting all avenues at a lower level.
                                If this is the plight of an educated urban consumer in india having purchased a global brand like Panasonic from India's biggest consumer durable chain Bigbazaar( Future group), just imagine the fate of villagers buying goods from MNCs setting retail shops allover India as per the new FDI policy of GOI .

                                  On 14th of June i purchased a CCTV from Reliance Shoppee Situated in Shipra Mall Indirapuram Ghaziabad,
                                  On the next day i got its delivery and after opening the Box it came to notice that the sound component of my CCTV is not working and from very frst day i launged complaint in Reliance Customer care but no responce till yet , very poor customer service Reliance should stop this chain of business if they cannot satisfy the customers

                                    I purchased a Panasonic LCD TV, Model No.TH-L32C8D from More Mega Store on 16/04/2010 with their Bill No.[protected] and TV serial No.%956E22383. I had sent the warranty card No.LCDT-54703 to their address to register but till date I have not received the warranty registration letter from them.

                                    On contacting them they are washing their hands off by saying that they have not recieved the card, which was posted to them affixing two Rs.3 stamps. the address also was preprinted on the card so there is no reson of it reaching the wrong address. They are asking me to check with the PO which is impossible since it was a ordinary post. Now can you help with what legal options I have to make them issue the warranty card. The bill and product registration is in my name. What is the fuss they are creating to issue one card.

                                      I have purchased Panasonic LCD tv Viera 32 inches in Dec-2007. It was working fine till Dec-2009. Afte that the picture is not displaying properly, it was shown to authorised dealer. The problem is confirmed as pannel problem by the delear. He said that for rectification, it will take Rs.23000/-. I was very surprised, at the same time I felt very bad on panasonic product. I have consult panasonic dealer, but no use. I went to panasonic showroom for exchanging, they did not accept the defect tv. What should I do? is there any solution? I am going to tell at most to the custmers who are willing to buy the panasonic LCD.

                                      I have the same problem with Panasonic tv in Mumbai. The small problem became big just after the warranty period ended and now they are asking Rs 20, 000 for fixing it for which one can buy a better new TV.

                                      I would like Panasonic to replace my tv or fix it free of cost. Nothing less.

                                        i have purchase brand new Split AC and install at my office. from the same day i feel AC unit throw 'bad smell'. i have complaint about this matter at company service center. After few day technician 1 and technician 2 visit two times at my office for solved my complaint but he was failed and not to find out reason of 'bad smell'. now i want to replace the defective AC unit against new one... because of i am not paid price for defective AC unit, but i paid for best and better performer AC Unit. so i am eligible to get replace new AC ???
