I was a reliance 3G Netconnect Broadband user in the year[protected] and I stopped using it in the month of May-2016 when they suddenly, without any prior notice stopped their 3G service for almost 20 days and suddenly told me to migrate to 4G by paying 900 Rs. and buying a new wipod. I never wanted to buy it, still they sent one to my house address. I sent it back there and then and also notified customer care and the reliance shop regarding termination of my connection.
Now, suddenly since JULY 2016 they started sending me emails and messages regarding outstanding bill. Now, I remember that in the month of May I used the service hardly for 10 days as the next 20 days the service was closed by the company. Thus, I clearly told the customer care to send me the details regarding my data usage and then I will pay the bill. I did not receive any thing of that sort and thus I did not pay the bill until November 2016. Then, suddenly I received a notice from some third grade advocate claiming to be from reliance and told me to meet me in his office and also to pay the bill before 23rd december . I told him that I will pay the bill just send me the details regarding my data usage . Still, even he didn't send it. It was funny, a person claiming to be an advocate from an organization like Reliance Communications and still couldn't speak nor write proper English. Nevermind, this issue started Irking me and giving them the benefit of doubt I paid the outstanding amount in the Reliance store 'Just Connect' on 23rd December 2016, for which I have the bill as well as 'Paid' written on it, the same amount paid to reliance communication reflected in my Paytm account as well. I sent the pic of this receipt to the apparent advocate and told him that any further email regarding this issue will be consequential.
Its been almost 1 and a half month after I paid the bill and again I received a call from reliance that I haven't paid the bill. I literally laughed on that girl's face as it was funny how pathetic these people can be. Felt like they need every penny of it desperately because of some bankruptcy. I told that girl that I have paid the bill long back and told her to check in the Reliance store and gave her the store address. She backfired and told me to check it and call her back as the paid bill has not been updated in their system. So basically now I should also follow up with the reliance people and make sure that it is updated on the system? So hilarious. Then I told her that Mam, Please can you yourself call the store and confirm. She suddenly goes like "Store waale ne aapka paisa kha liya hai, aapko vaapas bharna padega". I stared laughing and told her I have a bill from 'Reliance Communications' with signature on it. I called the store and that guy told me that maybe it still has not been updated on their system and he will make sure that it does. I was relieved.
Summarising it, cannot believe to what levels this company has dropped in their attitude, desperation, harrassment of people and scams. I am not the only one who has stopped their service but with me atleast 6 of my friends and 12 of my colleagues have terminated their service because of this nonsense and pathetic behaviour by reliance communication rude, illiterate Customer care representatives and the company officials. There are many other people too who have complained regarding this same issue . Please look into it soon before you see any stones being pelted at reliance stores . Right now the complaints are being lodged at individual levels but it soon will reach group and institution levels if this doesn't stop.
