The complaint is marked as resolved when a company has responded to the complainant, addressed his or her dissatisfaction, and came to an agreement where both parties agreed that the complaint is indeed resolved. However, a complaint can be automatically marked as resolved if a complainant isn't responding or updating a complaint for 30 days after the company has tried to reach the complainant.

Inefficient usage of Public Announcement Systems

One day, the 1st/Last compartment is only for Ladies, 2nd only First Class, ... and the next day the same service runs with 1st/Last compartment being General, 2nd compartment First Class & Ladies, ...

This creates a lot of chaos on the platform as people wait at a certain place and have to rush...

Reservation of berth

I am a senior citizen. On 02 Aug 09 at 10 AM I went to book a berth for me from Yeswantpur to Kochuveli by Train # 2257 leaving on 25 Aug 09. I had seen that the train had more than 900 vacant berths in 3 AC - this means at least 200 regular lower berths. But I was allotted a side lower berth saying that I have to take whatever the system allots. Actually for a senior citizen the system is supposed to automatically allot a regular lower berth....

Number of Counters for tickets

I had to receive my old mother, wife and child from Erode Junction at 21.40 on 22 June 2009. I reached the junction to do so and found that there were four counters open and each one had at least 100 passengers or others like me queued up. On listening to the announcement of the train(2695-Chennai-Trivandrum Express), we decided to go up to the platform to receive the family, unable to buy platform tickets. On our way out of the station,...

If they are not given money they resort to slapping and pinching the men. They use foul language . This is such an inconevenience...
