I had bought 2 docomo 3g sim (18november2014) for which i have paid 3000/- each till date they have not been activated .I have made more than 100 call to your pune office but nothing happened. when ever I call i am told it will start in next 2 days sold by shena/tushar [protected] person in contact kalpesh [protected] CAF No [protected] [protected] due to the poor state of response from tata docomo I am no more intrested in the above please cancel and refund .     In tatadocomo official site it was showing full balance on Rs.100 recharge but when i had done it it gives only Rs. 86.0 in my balance. When enquired from customer-care they said that the recharge plans are changed and it requires 3-4 months to reflect in the website.

      Dear Sir, I am Ramesh Kumar and My TATA Docomo number is [protected]. Rs 75 have been deducted from my balance at midnight 12:15 AM on today 30 Jan 2015. I got a message from TA-HUWWAP stating that " Unlimited 75 is activated atRs75.0 for 30days..To stop, Dial or SMS STOP to155223(Free)" and Rs 75 was deducted. I have DND activated and I have not activated any such service by any means. After the activation of the same, I try to complain on 198 and 121 at but no option to talking with your representative.       We are extremely sorry to learn that you are facing a concern of balance depletion in your Tata Docomo number [protected] & sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you due to this.

      Please be informed that Unlimited at 75 service which was activated on 30.01.15 at 12:07:48 AM, through wap from your handset and hence the balance of Rs. 75/-has been deducted. We take multiple confirmation from you before activating any service, we can clearly see that you had given confirmation to activate this service through wap mode.

      Kindly note that, all our systems are accurate and unless there is a subscription at your end there would not be any deduction.

      We can deactivate the service for you so that you don't get charged in future.

      Since your are our valued customer, as a one time service gesture, we are going ahead & reversing the charges of Rs. 75/- to your account. We are also deactivating the service. It will get deactivated within 30 minutes.

      We would request you to please be extra careful while browsing (Apps/website) or dialing any short codes.

        Sub: Notice for deficiency of service for the Docomo Data Card No: [protected] for customer no[protected]


        Dear Sir,


        I Rajarshi Trivedi s/o Sri Jahar Lal Trivedi residing at House No: 949, 2nd Floor, Block- B, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. Pin Code: 122017, had purchased a TATA Docomo connection with Docomo Photonmax Wi Fi Data card a special device for an amount of Rs.1999/- on 27th October 2014 & along with that I had also purchased a monthly tariff of [protected]@Rs1250 to avail such internet services as a pre requirement for availing your services. As per your offer and representation as well as stamen on your website it is clearly mentioned that I shall get Hyper speeds o[censored]p to 6.2Mbps with seamless roaming & auto switch over to Photon PLUS 3.1Mbps speeds in 350+ towns & auto switch over internet connectivity in 5000+ towns across the country & Peak speeds may drop to 3.1 Mbps in areas where Tata Docomo does not offer Photon Max wi-fi services. A copy of such representation is retained with me and may be produced if required.

        I have made several complaints with your customer care executive verbally, through telephonic conversation. Since inception and purchase I am not getting necessary speed as specified by you from time to time. Pertinent to mention herein that I have made several complaints being complaint no[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] related deficiency of speed, non-availability of necessary internet support. Since purchase, I am getting speed not more than 1 Mbps (down) & bellow 1 Mbps (Up) & some times the speed is below 100 Kbps (up & down) & every time your technical engineer stated that there is some network issue going on in my area where I am using this service & there is no time limit when the issue will be resolved. A copy of screen short of speed test result is retained by me, may be produced if required.


        After several request and complaint, I escalated the issue to Appellate authority Delhi on 29th November 2014, I have been informed over phone that my area where I am using your service is high utilized area, therefore I will not get the speed promised on your website. I clearly asked few questions to Appellate authority that:

        (i) I have taken this connection only few months back. While I had requested for this connection & gave my address proof, why I had not been informed that the plan I had selected with the device, TATA Docomo would not able to provide necessary / adequate service in my location;

        (ii) If several times the customer care representative informed that the plan which I have selected is not possible to serve / provide at my residential place, which is a deficiency of services still why a bill has been raised without considering such deficiency of services? Ignoring the fact that it is fault on the part of Company or Tata Docomo, you are still charging me, which is in violation of no man should take advantage of his own wrong.

        (iii) Is there any solution how I will get at least 3-4 Mbps speed though I suppose to get max 8 Mbps but currently getting 1 or below 1 Mbps speed.

        But I didn’t get any satisfactory answer from the concerned authority. Still then I wait for 2 months for some better service but till date I have noticed that from January 2015 onwards, the Internet was not at all working frequently. Then I again replied to Appellate authority Delhi to adjust my bill & return back the cost of device as I am not getting necessary service which TATA Docomo offered though I have consumed 30 GB data but not in the speed which I was supposed to get but I was denied for any such adjustment or mutual settlement for reasons better known to him.

        In view of the above stated facts and circumstances and the misrepresentation and breach of trust committed by you along with your representative, I call upon you through this notice to refund the adjusted all bill for months of November 2014, December 2014 & January 2015 & the device Cost of Rs.1999 (one thousand nine hundred ninety nine) without any liability on me, within 15 days of receipt of this notice, and send me a No Objection Certificate / Clearance failing which I shall have no alternative but to initiate legal action against you under the civil and criminal laws before courts of competent jurisdiction for misrepresentation and breach of trust.


        Needless to mention that any/all such actions initiated by me shall be solely at your risk, cost and peril.

        We acknowledge the receipt of your mail dated January 28, 2015 regarding Tata photon number.
        In continuation to our telephonic conversation on your alternate number [protected] on January 29, 2015. We would like to apprise you, that testing was done in your area by our Network team and it was confirmed in the technical test that there is good coverage in your area however kindly note that the signal strength can vary due to several conditions like atmospheric conditions, structural location of a particular premise and topography, affecting the radio waves which also affect the deep indoor coverage in a particular location despite having an good coverage in a given area.

        It is also dependent on the website you are accessing and the traffic which that site is experiencing.
        Moreover, we would like to inform you that as checked by our Team, your area at present falls under highly utilized area and no further network augmentation is also planned and hence the speeds may get impacted.

        Moreover we would like to inform you that as per company norms refund of your device cost are applicable only within 30 days from the date of activation. We regret to inform, in your case this is not applicable as of now.

        Furthermore, as you are not satisfied with the services we deeply regret to propose you to opt out from our network.

        We regret proposing the above.

        I have been in similar situation. Tata photon blatantly admit that they cannot provide even half of promised speeds but they keep on charging full bill amounts.

          This is Mustafa i am using my docomo sim since more than 8 years many times i have faced my problems from this company the main problem is they are charging unusual amount from my balance and my no has been blocked by company so that i can no able to discuss my problem with them this company is the spot in the name of TATA group Its very bad experience for me and i am very disoppoint with this company I cant change my no cause of some reasone Plzz assist me what should i do ? Ms Sunitha George, Appellate Officer (As mentioned on the Wi-Fi Data card pouch) I had booked a Tata Photonmax Wi-Fi data card on the Tata docomo Website and paid the money through credit card. Please see the details below: Invoice Number: EC[protected] Payment mode: CC S No. Date Item Code Item Description Qty Rate Amount 1 04-Dec-2014 22:54:52 PCPRE0781 10 GB + Extra Data plan @ Rs 350 1 350.00 350.00 2 04-Dec-2014 22:54:52 DCPHO0801 Photon Max Wi-Fi 1 1999.00 1999.00 Total: 2349.00 This was done on December 4 and today is January 28 and so far no activation has happened for the device, though the delivery was made promptly. I have been patiently waiting and listening to your customer care people. Their standard reply is “sorry for the inconvenience, your case has been escalated to the concerned department, this will be resolved shortly or after some time” Exactly Seven weeks have gone by and so is my patience. I spoke with various customer service people and they say this is pending for local reference verification. Plenty of calls already have been placed from the local reference person’s mobile number and so far no verification from your side has taken place. I have the following concerns: 1) It says Doorstep activation on your website, but this is false. You are trying to mislead or cheat the customer by displaying false information and taking money from them which is similar to what online fraud companies do. If doorstep activation is not possible then why are you advertising that on your website? 2) Since the activation was not done, I requested for the money back. This is too your people have rejected saying there is no such option which means I have been taken for a ride by Tata. Why nobody including the Appellate Authority is not responding to the complaint emails and resolve the issue? 3) The customer service department asked me to be patient. Well, I have been patiently waiting for 7 weeks with umpteen number of calls made to your customer service department. They say it will be resolved after “some time”. However, they do not know what this “some time” means, whether it is 15 minutes, 1 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, 2 days, etc. They refuse to make any commitments. I have even lodged my greivances to Mr. Elango Thumbiah, the CEO of Docomo but no response. 4) I asked the email ID and contact details of the Nodal Officer and or the appellate authority but your customer service people refused to provide the same saying they do not know their contact details. Kindly look into this issue and resolve it within a definite time frame or return my money. I got the refund for the talk time but not the device. Please return the money for the device as well.               Hello, I went to near by Tata docomo retail store, and i have submitted all my documents to them on 23 Jan and they told me they will activate by 24 Jan. But till date it was not activated into my account. The Retail shop is at Pimple Sadagur store. Even they are unprofessional behaviour.

                SIR, I BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT I WAS NOT USED THE TATA PHOTON NO.[protected] FOR LAST ONE YEAR. ONE YEAR BACK, WHEN I CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR PERMANENLTY DICCONNECT MY CONNECTION AFTER PAYING MY OUTSTANDING DUES, THEY CONTINOUSLY CALL ME AGAIN AND AGAIN TO CONTINUE THE NUMBER, BUT I SAID NO TO USE THE NUMBER. THEN THEY ASKED ME TO HOLD THE NUMBER FOR NEXT SIX MONTHS WITHOUT ANY MONTLY RENT EVEN AFTER SIX MONTHS IF I WOULD NOT LIKE TO START THE NUMBER, THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALLY PERMANENT DICCONE MY CONNECTION. NOW AFTER SIX MONTHS, MONTLY RENT ACCURED AGAINST MY NUMBER FOR LAST THREE MONTHS, I REPEATDLY SAID THAT I WOULD NOT USE THE NUMBER ANYMOREAND TOLD MY LAST YEAR CONVERSATIOON WITH THE TATA PHOTON CUSTOME CARE REPRESENTATIVE.                   Hi I have ported in to Docomo for better data service what they promise At promotional callecallers. Its disapointment, i live in bangalore around near by uttarahalli chikkallasandra . But couldn't get 3G coverage. Pls find attached file . And they took almost 18days to process porting. After that once I install SIM its not givinggiving promised srvce . Kindly Improve ur network.
                  Am using mainly for video tutorials n skype video conversation. kindly provide promised services . Now I can use only 2g .

                    My DOCOMO mobile sim card is blocked. When I asked the reason, they are saying that from TRAI they got the complaint against my mobile number, saying that I have used my mobile for telemarketing. but this is completely wrong. Daily I am calling to my house (mainly 3 different numbers) and I am getting call from my home (mainly 3 different numbers). My complaint is against the DOCOMO, if the TRAI made complaint against my mobile number, they should investigate the truth before blocking the sim card. They should check my call details. Then they can understand that the TRAI was mistaken. But without proper investigation they simply blocked my mobile sim card. Because of my sim had blocked, I am not able to communicate my net banking, and other mobile number registered services like UAN, my office etc.

                    Because of my mobile sim blocked I suffered a lot, I lost my balance money around 239 rupees also.

                      Complaint for wrong deduction Complain for Mobile No [protected] Dear Sir, Today on 25.05.15 my prepay balance has been deducted in account of VAS and for which no command has been given from my side . I raised my voice and come to the notice of customer care executive Miss - [censored]al Parmar through customer care number she confirmed me balance has been deducted is wrong and will be return in 4 hrs but till now I did not get my balance back.

                        I had ordered a photon Max wifi data card, which was delivered to me on 17th Jan. Than I got a call asking me to send again scan copy of passport for activation. I did sent another scanned copy of passport but Still now my device is not activated. when I inquired, Customer care says they have escalated but they do not find any detail regarding the device in their system. I was asked to visit the store but store peoples say they do not have any detail regarding sales through eshop. Also they can not register a complain and give me a reference number as the number provided with the device does not reflect my name. It seems as no body wants to take ownership of product sold through eShop and unwilling to provide any information about the issue.                             Hi, I have been using tata photon for the last two years but from last few months I am continuously facing slow speed issue. I have complaint regarding this to your customer care but they ignore my request by saying that network upgrade is in progress in your area. How could this happen for so long time ? It's not like I have started using now. Earlier my download speed used to come around 200 - 300kbps but now it has reduced to 10kbps which is pathetic to use. If I am paying for the services of tata photon+ then why should I bear the slow speed issue. Please help to resolve my issue otherwise I have to take help of consumer forum and I would not recommend my colleagues and friends for tata photon. Thanks Ajay Verma

                              i lost my prepaid balance by using Internet on tata docomo sim. mobile no. is [protected]. chhattisgarh circle.

                                I am user of tata photon max wifi. Company claims that it can give 6.1 mbps speed but i am getting only 80 kbps speed. I gave a complaint regarding slow speed issue in the month of October. I have raised same complaint five times from past 4 months there's no resolution at all and closing complaint without resolving it every time stating that my location has the issue. My location is also a part of bangalore but why they are stating this I don't understand.
