I have a serious matter with the call centre executives. I've been calling repeatedly since 8th May as my special recharge pack of 34/- (STD) wasn't activated. Since the problem wasn't solved, I got the same recharge on 14th and that too wasn't activated as I got no confirmation messages and the tariff that was being deducted wasn't a multiple of 25 paise. The first time, the amount was deducted from my bank bal. and the second time I got it deducted from my mobile bal (125/- top up on the 14th May). My current bal. stands at 21/- and as you can see, my mobile balance hasn't reduced by an amount of 100/-. Keeping that in mind, the call centre people tell me that I have used up my 400 mins for which the pack is valid but I have been repeatedly trying to make them understand that since the recharge, my mobile bal. hasn't been reduced by an amount of 100/- which is required to use up the 400 mins. This simple logical explanation seems to be too hard to comprehend even though they have all the information about my account. A senior executive, Pramod Mishra was extremely rude, threatened to cut my call if I didn't understand and cut my call eventually when I tried to ask him the exact rates that are being charged on STD calls. This irritable behavior and lack of respect is highly unbecoming. I expect a quick response.
There was also a difference in the information two separate call centre executives gave me. The systems seem to be down all the time. Since the 8th, I've called at least a dozen times and I got to hear the same response over and over again that the system isn't working and that I should call back in 4 hours. Earlier, on the 9th May, they asked me to wait for 24 hours for the pack to be activated and then on the 11th asked to wait for 48 hours!! My simple question is, why do I have to wait 4-5 days for a pack to be activated? I have my needs because of which I got the recharge and seriously how difficult is it to activate a new plan?
Whenever I lodged a complaint, I never got a complaint code even though I was told 3 distinct times by the call centre people that they have forwarded my complaint. I am nose deep in this nonsensical and idiotic pile of rubbish that these call centre people call service with a smile. Tata Docomo, please improve!!

    Sir, as im using a TATA DOCOMO number [protected], i use to send message to my friends and relatives.. i get the messages from them immediately as soon as they send me but if i reply to them it takes nearly 2 to 3 hours or may b a day to deliver them... its being a big problem for me.. even an urgent message also cant be sent at time.. i receive all there message but my messages which has sent to them never get delivered.. regarding this i contacted customer care but the calls gets automatically disconnected after the recorded voice says that "OUR CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE ARE CURRENTLY BUSY ATTENDING OTHER CUSTOMERS FOR FURTHER QUERIES PLEASE EMAIL US" and after this call get disconnected ...and network in our area is too poor, even the internet doesnt work much faster than before.. please clear my problem.. i gave complaint regarding this in TATA DOCOMO website by filling an complaint registeration form but no response from them.. please give me feedback and clear this problem immediately.. my mobile number is [protected]....

    oh yes! the same problem is here too. No messages are being sent or received on time. and when i talk on phone then all the messages are received. Its quite troublesome.

      I purchased a Tata Photon when i shifted my house in Gurgaon as the Airtel Broadband lines were not there in my area. I paid almost all the bill on time and sometimes i used to be out of station so used to miss the Bill due date however later when i used to return to Gurgaon and found that my bill is due then i used to pay that Bill along with the late fee.

      Later when Airtel laid there lines in my area i got an Airtel Broadband connection.
      Now trouble started from here.

      I used to pay Tata Rs 1500+ per month as the Photon rental. Now after i got Airtel i went to the Tata Showroom (I purchased Photon from here) in Setor 56 Huda Martket Gurgaon and told them that i have paid Rs 3000+ for the device so now i want to get it converted to prepaid. I had an outstanding Bill of around Rs 1500 so i told those guys that i am ready to pay that money and want to know the procedure on how to get the Photon converted to prepaid. The showroom person told me that for that i need to go to Sahara Mall (Which is around 15 Kms from my house) and there i need to fill some forms in Tata's main showroom.

      Shortly i had to leave to Jaipur for some work so i forgot this entire thing.In Jaipur i received a call from the Tata Operator telling me that my bill of Rs 1500 is due so i told him that i am not in town and as i need to get my Photon converted to prepaid so when im back then i will go to their showroom to pay my bill and get the Photon converted to Prepaid. When i returned after a month and checked my Mails then i found a bill for Tata Photon for Rs. 3000+.

      Again i got a call from Tata regarding my bill so i told the lady that i hav'nt used my Photon since one month and she can check my usage. Infact i stopped using my Photon a week before the 1st bill of Rs 1500 was generated.Furthermore after the Due date passes any Internet/Phone Company stops the Servives of the respective number within 6-7 days so even my Tata Photon wasnt working for the period for which i was sent a bill of extra Rs 1500.

      I started receiving calls from Tata Collection Agents and nobody was willing to help me. I was told that i have to pay i full bill and there would be no waiver. I kept on repeating that i am ready to pay the bill for the period that i have used Photon but the extra bill for Rs 1500+ is something that i wont pay.

      Last month i got a call from Mr Raj from Tata so i explained him the entire situation. After that i was out of station for a few days and my Mobile Number registered with Tata was Off. This month i again got a call from Mr Raj and he told me that he has got the extra ammount deducted as i had not used their services and i only need to pay the Rs 1500 that was orignally due on me. Mr Raj wanted to send somebody to collect a check however i told him that i will go to Sahara Mall and will apy the bill over there as i need to get my Photon converted to prepaid. Since it was a Weekday and i was at work so i told him that i will go to Sahara Mall on the Weekend.

      From Saturday morning Mr Raj started calling me after every 30 mins asking me that where am i right now. Every time i told him that as promised i will pay the bill today however he still kept on calling. Around 3 i went to Sahara Mall annd told the executive on the Counter that i need to get my Photon converted to prepaid and i want to pay my outstanding. The person told me that my bill if for Rs 3800+ so i made him had a word with Mr. Raj. Now that person told me and Mr Raj that according to their policies they cannot convert my Photon into prepaid until the whole ammount is cleared and that there has been no waiver as yet. Mr Raj told me that he has sent a request for the deduction of the extra ammount and due to some system issues it is not being appeared. He further told me that the Decution has been approved and i should pay the Rs 1500 and rest would be done. On the other hand the executive in the store clearly told me that i need to pay the full bill of Rs 3800 to get my Photon converted to postpaid. I told Mr Raj that i am not paying the bill until they convert my Photon to prepaid and walked out of the store. At that point Mr Raj littrealy abused me and hanged the call.

      After that i got several calls from Tata and one from someone claiming to be from Delhi High Court Leagal Cell however nobody was actually listing to what i was saying. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR SERVICES THAT I DID'NT USE. EVEN THE DEVICE WAS NOT WORKING AT THAT TIME.

      So finally Tata has sent me a legal notice. Dont worry i will be there on 24th May however now you wont get a single Rs out of my Pocket cause since you have moved to court so even i would like to Tackle it in Consumer Court.

      Now i would take a leave from my Office on 24th to attend the Court so i need compensation of Rs 2389.95 cause that is what i am paid per day (Rs 50000/21 Days). Apart from that i need compensation because of the harrasment and Mental Agony that have been inflicted on me by Tata.


      PS: I still and will always respect Mr Ratan Tata for what he is however it is shamefull to see that such a rescepted Compant that is being Manned by such a Respectfull and Noble figure employees these kind of people who have no respect for their Consumers time and money. Furthermore they dont even care about what the Consumer is saying.

        I recharged below number online [protected]. Find the transaction id -
        MSPD[protected]. . My bank has 246/- deducted , transaction successful but 3G balance shows NIL, not only this they have invcompetent staff, they cant attend queries put you on hold for 45mins and then no call back. Kindly challenges their ads , they are lying to customers, fraud. Not first time, even on 3 May same thing happened. Please save customers from such cheats.

          Dear TataDocomo Customer Care Team,

          I am subscriber of Prepaid TataDocomo and my number is [protected]. On 17 May 2012 I have activated GPRS pack of Rs 95 in which the facility of 4 GB GPRS are giving to customer. After successful recharge from my mobile I have received one message in which I was informed the the we are giving your benift of 4 Gb GPRS balance for 30 days and when I checked my GPRS balance You have credited only 2 GB in my account. After that I called to customer care and informed that you have not give me benifit of 4 GB GPRS balance after deducting Rs 95 abd they told me that within one hour you will get your remaining 2 GB GPRS balance and then I talked to sr executive they also told me that within 48 Hours you will get your remaining balance as we are going to forward your query to our sr person so wait for a while.

          But when even 48 hours I have not received my remaining 2 GB GPRS I have lodge one complaint on the website of TataDocomo I was not able to talk with your customer care executive thru mobile and after that I have received one confirmation message that within 48 hours your complaint will get resolved. But still am waiting for their response and my complaint has not been resolved. Now I'm fed up with your fake commitment so my question is where is my 2 GB more GPRS balance. As in the pack of Rs 95 you are giving us 4 GB but you people have given me only 2 GB.

              Hi,

              This is bala. My docomo number is [protected]. I have recharged RC 65 which gives us 2.5 gprs balance. Before that I have checked about the offers in tata docomo website to confirm the offer. The website says for 65 rupees you will get 2.5 gb gprs balance. I went to retail shop and make this recharge. But I got only 1gb data. I called to customer care (121) and asked about the offers.. He gave another number(522227). I called to 522227. That is recorded voice and it is also saying that for 65 rupees you will get 2.5 gb data. Again I called to 121 and I explain about the issue. For that he said for RC65 you will get only 1gb, 15 days back the offer is changed. But still if I called to 52277 it is saying you will get 2.5 gb. I asked him about this, but he replied like that is not updated and if you do any thing you will not get extra 1.5 gb and nothing will be done. I asked him to convert my gprs pack to 3g pack and I ll pay the extra amount. He said its not possible. Ok then I asked him where is the mistake, is it from ur side or from my side. He said that is not our mistake. He is repeating that you will not get anything extra and nothing will be done. Finally call was disconnected. Again I tried to contact 121, but now it is busy busy bsuy. I tried so many times for several hours , but ano response from them. This is how they are cheating people. Please take actions about this kind of cheatings. This is the second time I am facing this type of problem with docomo. So pls guys dont trust docomo offers blind. Pls confirm once before choosing docomo.

                The Web based tool to see the data usage show zero usage (see that screen shot attached)
                But the bill charged is Rs. 2829.

                Tata Photon customer service says as per there records, it has 5GB usage and hence the Rs. 2829 bill

                Inspite of showing the snapshot of the data usage from the tata photon web gui, Tata Photon folks are calling several times for the payment, its a head ache.

                I have closed the connection after calling the Tata photon support, also emailed the support, but still they have kept the connection open.

                Please guide.

                  I just cant believe that how a network can cheat a customer like this..
                  Tata docomo cheating customers of kerala by providing wrong information about 3G offer..
                  i will tell the matter ,
                  after i called my friend,as usual i saw the balance notification,with that i saw 3G offers too
                  Rs39 for 500MB 3G and Rs91 for 1GB 3G data..
                  after seeing that offer,today i have recharged by Rs39 ...but i got the message that only 50 MB for free 3G data usage !!!
                  after that i called,c.care,and even those executives know s about this issue..they said:they are helpless !!

                  Me too faced the same issue, customer care executives says trust only SMS not in this flash messages. Then who are giving this Flash messages, not by them??? DOCOMO is cheating us . I am planning for Porting. Why should we bear this cheatng network, even don't have any coverage...

                    I regret to inform you that the kind of service provided by Tata Docomo is very much unsatisfactory. The speed given in 2G is only about 1 to 4 Kb/s which is really irritating, i am not getting at all for what i am paying for. Moreover it takes me nearly 40 Min's to connect customer care & after that an executive can't speak English & told me that system is not working(he told me to call after 4hrs) as i asked him that which work he can perform than he transferred the call to senior. I don't know that whats the problem on management or lack of quality manpower but it must be improved and its really disgraceful on your part. I am your customer for more than 2 yrs but if it remains same than i will be forced to use mobile portability. I hope this will be communicated to high level management. PH. No. [protected]

                      My docomo number is [protected] I recently recharge my number with Rs 46 Pack for roaming for 60 days through rechargeitnow.com and recharge was successful and i got a conformation message from docomo mentioning pack activated for roaming for 60 days with transaction id [protected].
                      I contacted customer care but they don't have answer they just say they can't do anything and just cut the call.Now all docmo relationship center,Customer care ,Online chat everybody is telling to forget that money and recharge again or contact that website but this common sense that recharge was sucessful and docomo got money and docomo sent conformation message too with transaction id mentioned above.

                          Sir, I have applied for mnp to change from tata docomo to airtel (mobile no.[protected]) on 23 april 2012, "(generated on 22 april 2012 and valid upto 07 may 2012). I have submitted all the required documents to airtel dealer and received a mnp sim, he said that the sim would be activated in 7 days. I received a message from airtel, on 23 april 2012 that "the application is under processing", but till now the sim was not activated.                               there has been an unwanted subscription to ipl on my tata docomo mobile connection under the name 'IPL on TATA GSM 2G WAP' and consequently Rs. 5/- per day is being reduced from the balance since 8th May 2012. In the message a toll free number has been given to deactivate the service 155223 but is of no help. Today I have called in customer care and someone named Nandita received that call and told me that thre is no such subscription. After a moment it reduced my balance again.Deactivate it.                                 I have filed 3 complaints with Tata Docomo for the number [protected]. Complaint numbers are : 503090, 502210, 501281. They have happily closed the complaint saying that when 3G pack is activated, 2G will automatically get deactivated. Big cheats, I have filed a complaint with the appellate . Please look into the issue, I will not accept this thing of 2G getting automatically deactivated. Furthermore, the customer care people are big cheats. I got to know that you can call customer care from a docomo number only two times a day.

                                  My name is Swapan Kumar Kundu & my no is [protected]. have been suffering from the same problem as Mohit & Paritosh. I was subscribed to this unwanted IPL on TATA GSM 2G WAP service on probably 11th May, 2012. From that day till date Everyday I am being charged a Rs.5/-. I have contacted TATA DOCOMO customer care officer Jayanta Das,Sanjoy Sharma.. As per there responsee time within 48 hrs. on 12.05.2012, I got my an amount of Rs.10/- as balance return from TATA Docomo . But the very next day the same thing happened again and I am still suffering from that unwanted service and a continious balance deduction.The customer care officers saying that it will be deactivated withiun 24 hours.But not happening.On the other hand on calling 155223 it is being said that no extra Service is activated in my number

                                  I want to complain against such Telecom Companies who promise to provide service with no extra unwanted cost. But ultimately they are providing worsed services may be they even do not know. I wish Govt. should pass a bill to punish or cancel registration of such companies who harazes their customers. I want all my balance in return which have been unwantedly deducted from my balance from 12.05.2012 till date and on.

                                      Tata Docomo is cheating their customers.. They Give Higher amount of data but at such slow speed that we can not consume it, though we do continuous downloading for a month.

                                      Lets see.. Rs. 149/- Pack = 8GB = 8388608 MegaBytes = [protected] KiloBytes for a month, and now we want to consume it..
                                      to consume it in one month - we need to consume 8196MB/30days = 273.[protected] MB per 24 hours.

                                      We assume that we put our mobile daily 12 hours for continuous download for a month [which is also unbearable thing..]
                                      So we need 273 MB downloaded in 12 hours. = 22MB per hour.

                                      To do this we need 22MB / 60 minutes = 7KBytes per Second
                                      [which is I'm considering CONTINUOUS 7KB.]
                                      But what we get now? .. 2.5 -- 4.0 -- 1.1 -- 1.2 -- 3.4 KB -- different speed at different time intervral..

                                      With this speed, I DOCOMO itself --> Connect your Network to laptop and Consume whole 8GB in month.. YOU FRUSTRATE YOURSELF..!!

                                      So, DOCOMO is just cheating their customers by providing High Amount of data at low prices..

                                      We will be happy if they give 2GB of data at 100 rupees but with GOOD speed [at least 15 Kbytes per Second..]

                                        my tata docomo 3g number is [protected] and in the month of FEB my 3g connection was disconnected for a month bcoz of the network issue from docomo tower side.but they generated bill of that month.i raised complaint and many times visited at tata docomo service outlet but this issue is not yet resolved bcoz of that every month when new bill is generating my service is getting disconneted .Also i got a call in the march month that no need to pay bill of the month feb of ammount Rs 755.many times i have forwarded the iisue through customer care also even in cilai chowk,bazirao road, tata docomo service outlet.pls take the action against the docomo service to resolve my issue.
