Hello,
My tata photon num is [protected]. I recently posted a complaint regarding my bill issues. A guy from customer care called me and asked me regarding the details of the problem. He finally asked me to send the screen shots of my usage details found in My account region in www.tataphoton.com. I have sent the screen shots. But even before solving my issue i got a mail saying my complaint is closed. My complaint number was[protected]. ok here is my problem. I changed my tataphoton prepaid connection to postpaid before 3 months. Ever since that i have this problem in my billing. The usage details shown in My Account of tataphoton website will be perfectly all right. But when i receive my bill the usage details shown in it will be completely different the usage details shown to me in the website. This is happening for 3 months. i am so keen on my usage details and i use to check my usage details daily. i know how much num of mins i had used at the end of each billing cycle. But 2 things happened in my bills.

1> The peak usage will be greater than the peak usage that i used and the off peak usage will be lesser than the off peak usage that i used (this happened at the billing cycle 05/03/11 to 04/04/11)

2>The off peak usage will be greater than the peak usage that i used and the peak usage will be lesser than the peak usage that i used. (this happened at the billing cycle 05/04/11 to 04/05/11)


With this i am quite sure that even my first bill (billing cycle 05/02/11 to 04311 ) would have had one of these 2 problems. Coz even in my first bill i felt like i am over billed, but i was not sure of my usage. But in My second bill it was conformed that my bill had mistakes, as i was so sure abt the num of mins i have used at peak and unpeak hours. In the bill my unpeak usage was lesser than what i had used and the peak usage is greater than what i had used. I had sent mails regarding this issue and they sended me the itemized bill in Excel format. Even in that itemized bill, the total usage was same as the usage given in the bill but the total usage in peak hours and off peak hours didnt matched with the usage detail provided in the bill. But even after repeated mails regarding the un matched itemized bill i didnt get the problem solved and all i got is irrelevant reply to my mails. Then i went to a tataindicom office at Anna Nagar, Chennai. They showed me a itemized bill which had entirely different usage details from the itemized bill which i got in mail. It was really a headache and i paid my bill and decided to make sure abt the usage of the forthcoming month. And even in this month i have faced the same problem.

I have used 3500 mins in peak hours but my bill shows that i have used only 2691 mins. And i have used only 4061mins at off peak hours but my bill shows i have used 4978mins. (thank god that at least this month the usage didn't exceeded my free usage even after miscalculation)

To make sure not to get fooled i have taken screenshots of the usage details showed in their website. I have approached tata photon office and they say their system dont have features to calculate the peak and off peak usages separately in the itemized bill. This thing is really eating my busy hours for nothing. I mailed them regarding this problem in detail. But all i got is a one line foolish reply saying "U have been charged as per our system details". And this is gona be the last time i am trying to solve this problem. Please solve this issue with high priority. I have attached the screen shots which i have taken on 5th May 2011.

I have a problem with my bills and i have made more than 4 complaints
to solve my issue. Very sad to say none of my complaints are responded
in correct manner. Some of the complaints are closed even without
solving the the problem. Some of the problems are closed even without
informing anything abt it to me. Some of my complaints are responded
but in a foolish way. For example i made a complaint about my problem in
billing along with the screenshots, but i got a call saying your
request to increase the credit limit is done. For heaven sake i never
made a complaint to increase my credit limit. I said him that my
complaint is regarding my bill for which he replies, "there is no such
record found for ur num". What the hell is going on?
No action is yet taken to solve this problem, instead of repeated messages to them. Even the above complaint posted by the customercare with docket number[protected] has no effect. I got a mail for the complaint with docket number[protected], that the complaint will be solved before 17th May. Today is 19th i never got any calls or any mails regarding the complaint.
No i never got any call regarding this. I only got a call saying my Credit Limit is increased.

      Dear Sir,
      I am the regular user of tata docomo, my mobile no. is [protected], i have requested Tata Docomo customer care to provide the bill summary form 15-Dec.-2010 to 15-April-2011 they have charged 25/- for this detail and logged my request which no.is-PPB[protected]/04/2011) but they have not provide the proper and complete detailed then after i am again request for the same detail but they have charge again 25/- for this and given another request no.-PPB[protected]/04/2011).
      After that i am doing regular follow up with their team on daily basis in various mode(Phone/Mail/Chat) they are given commitments for satisfaction resolution but till time i am not satisfied and convienced their sevices because they have taken 50/- but till date not provide the detail.
      Please look into the matter and help for resolution...

        this is the kind of circle you have having.. your cell number is circulated with this kind of people where they are trubling you. first you change you number and get the new. And have a track to whom you are giving the number. this is not he proble from the tata docomo... you need to change you cell nuber first.

        If you having the messaged from the unknown number as you have told that they are coming from the subscription list ...you just do this...Activate DND (Do Not Disturb ) and after 30 days Reactivate it if you want the service from Service provider, , , , Your truoble will be solved in just 30 days after your DND activation...

          Just by hiring Ranbir Kapoor as a brand ambassador and publicy saying that you dont activate unwanted services doesnt mean that you are living up to your promise.

          Every 3rd day, an unwanted service gets activated on my cell like MTV model diary pack, call me tunes etc etc...and RS 30 GETS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT.


          I dont even the names of these services, dont even use it....

          I visit Gallaries and call customer care....they keep my call on waiting mode for 10-15 minutes and ultimately hang up. Gallary people say that we are sorry but we cant refund your amount...


          I was thinking to swtich my other number to docomo but will infact end up switching my main docomo number to some other provide who doesnt invest in ads but in systems!

          I am a subscriber of Tata Docomo mobile service. My mobile number is [protected]. A sum of Rs. 47/- was deducted from my balance in Jan 11( around 20 Jan) and an amount of Rs. 8/- was also deducted from my balance on 13 Feb 11 for health service the service I never activated . When I enquired from your customer care the executive infomred that they do not have any information on the system and asked to me call after some time. When I contacted later to the customer care my call was disconnected and after that I tried many times to contact customer care but all in vain. I request you to kindly refund the money Rs. 47/- and Rs. 8/- as the same was deducted from my balane without my request for any service. Awaiting a early refund.

              To whom ever it concerns

              On 28/04/2011 Rs 120 was deducted from my mobile currency balance.

              when I contacted the customer care they said I had pressed OK on flash message which they have sent to me .

              After convincing them that i had not pressed OK for any of their messages they said they will credit back the money in 24 hrs.gave a complaint no PGFG09078504

              Today is 12/05/2011,still no response,when i call back every day its the same saying,it will be done in 24hrs.

              Yesterday i received a message saying the complaint is closed.But still now the amount is not credited.

              When i ask for the supervisor,they put me on hold for half n hour n later cut the call.I came to know that if a particular persons call the TATA DOCOMO customer care more that three times in a day his calls will never be picked and a recorded message says they are busy please write a mail.(ID unknown)

              After discussing with my friends, i met a ex employee of the TATA DOCOMO customer care through common friend,he said they do it purposely and they wont credit back the money how much ever we struggle.

              Just imagine Rs 120 from 100 person daily will make them earn a lot.

              Worst than street beggars!!!!!!!

              Such a Big company use these cheap tricks to make money.

              RATAN TATA this how u make money is it?

              Please friends its a humble request dont recharge your TATA DOCOMO For more than Rs150.

              Kindly request you to subscribe to DNB (Don't Disturb ) List for safer side of your money.

              Please do let me know is there any way to get back this money from these beggars.

                I want to add something more in my previous complaint.

                Tata Docomo is insulting 3G technology. Google home page takes around 10 seconds to load, always.

                Tata please don't just concentrate on Nano, otherwise stop launching new services. only produce Nano and pollution. I was beveling in Tata but not now.

                When my google home page takes 10 seconds, I see Ratan Tata on blank page while page gets loaded.

                Sorry Ratan Tata, you are so respected person but also kindly understand that every customer is also respected while consuming your awesome services and please give this respect otherwise you will loose the respect we have in you.

                I am getting less than 2G speed. they are advertising Max 20 Mbps, I am getting 0.01 Mbps speed. what a huge difference? Tata Docomo 3G services are cheating the customers.

                I have tested this couple of times.

                I can understand sometime speed may vary upon different factors but I never got more than above mentioned speed.

                Previously I was using BSNL 3g and getting average 2 Mbps speed.

                I can show this problem anytime to anybody. I am really a frustrated customer. please control this cheating from companies.

                    Tata Docomo GSM is fraud or they have a special kind of virus in their systems, Last month i activated my sms pack for 30rs.

                    After 20 days (in my free sms pack period) I got a massage from

                    Tata Docomo -

                    "your sms pack activated for 30 days and 30rs deducted from your balance"

                    Exactly after 8 seconds i received one same massage again and total 30+30 Rs Deducted from my balance.

                    Then I call customer care for this automatic drama... They made me fool said that you send sms for this service.

                    Behas kaResult-
                    They deal with me like Gunda type - "apka balance vapis nahi aa sakta"

                    I was very busy at 10-May-11, I really did'nt send any type of massage to sevice provider also check my sentbox. (no chance of virus in my phone bcoz i did'nt connect my phone with any pc or mobile from last 30 days, i have good knowladge about os maintenance )
                    Also i did'nt send any sms to my friend or any number on that date.
                    Am i mad ki ek service ko duabra dubara activate karu.

                    I feel very helpless and very angry with company, they do not care about this. I wanted to tell this via newpaper to all. Finally i found this site and posted my massange.

                    So friends think 10 times before choose your service provider.
                    Above compliant is mine..

                      i am a tata docomo user. And have been using d service for d past few months.
                      i was usually satisfied by d service.
                      but recently they have started d gimmicks which is irritating as well as time n money consuming.
                      my recent mishap is- i recharged Rs.48 for d internet plan yesterday[protected] and when i checkd d balance, to my surprise it was oly 21days of validity, while d custimer care said it was for 30days.
                      i have a recording of d cus care explaining d offer as well as an sms dated today tellin it's for 30day validity.
                      when contacted 198, all i got was a blunt "sorry mr.srikanth".
                      if this doesn fall in d category of fraud or day-light robbery, i dunno wat else to call it.
                      pls look in2 d prob n tel me wat else can b done about the fraudsters.

                          My name is Ankit Gupta and I am using Tata Photon data card for the past 4 months. Ever since I've started using it, I am facing a lot of issues and had to fight to the MD level everytime. They have given me a lot of stress and a lot of loss has incurred for me both in terms of money and time.

                          This time again I am facing the issues and no one from Tata Photon is resolving it properly. The issue is that I am loosing more than 2GB of data inspite of no usage. Its ironical but true that even though I am not plugging in my device, the data gets deducted in bulk. It is happening for the last 7-8 days and tata has not shown any urgency to look into this issue. My tata number is [protected].

                          When I am left with no other option, I thought of writing it to you with a belief that you would intervene here to get the express resolution. I request you to please try and resolve this issue from your end involving the highest management of tata.

                          The data lost happened on 27th April, 3rd may, 5th may, 6th may and 7th may till date. Every time more than 2-3 GB of data was deducted. I've lost around Rs. 2000 monetarily and it caused me lot of stress. Please take some action against everyone involved in this.


                          I would urge the similar users who have been stressed by tata to come along and lets file a lawsuit against these [censored]s. Theey need to be taught a lesson. Lets collaborate and I assure my full support to the movement against tata photon and its services. Lest get them out of the market.

                            Tata Docomo — b-town forcefully activation

                            force fully activation of the b town rockstar................10 rs / 10 days
                            they have deducted my balance twice with the B-town Rockstar service which i never subscribed. I tried to seek help from customer care executives regarding this subject but they aren't co-operating at all and now they are not even attending my call. They have deducted Rs. 20 till now and the service is still counting. I launched complaint by sending an e-mail to [protected]@tatadocomo.com but no use.
                            Please look into this matter as well.

                            Docomo is worst network in terms of range and services. They think that only nice call rate plans will increase their users. but. they don't know today's public seek for better service & customer care help as well. I am throwing my docomo sim in dust bin as i have not been given my refund. vodafone has great services & call rate plans. go for it friends!

                              When I came to post here I found numerous complaints regarding the same Tata docomo 3G. But still they repeating the mistake and finally the poor customer is the harassed one. They became the victim since they used post paid. These people canot swindle from prepai[censored]sers.

                              This message I am posting so that post paid users will get alerted when they select the 3G add-on packs thinking it is worth for money and finally paying the entire month salary for the 3G data usage.

                              I am a Tata Docomo mobile network user. April month I activated 3G add-on pack worth Rs.200 with free data usage 512 MB. I wonderd how I will be knowing the data usage. That time the customer care person told me I can check my daily data usage through my accounts in tata docomo website. I started using 3G and also checked day to day usage in My accounts. Eventhough my data usage is less than the 512 MB free usage, the bill was generated based on one paise per kb basis. So I got scared and before reaching the maximum usage 512 MB,, I gave a request in person to stop the 3G services for my number to Tata docomo office at Koramangala,Bangalore. After that my 3G connection was stopped. But when I received my april month bill , I found that ( in addition to my mobile bill) instead of Rs.200 for the 3G add on pack, it was showing Rs.1871 chargable for my data usage. This Rs.1871 is based on one paise per kb for around 183 MB. Imagine if I used the 512 MB my bill will be Rs.5120.

                              When I am looking for clarification from customer care, They told the Rs.200 3G add on pack is valid for one month and since I disconnected 3G service before one month, they converted the data usage based on per kb basis. With whose consent they changed and charged me like this. I gave disconnecting request in person to tata docomo office. If they told me about this hidden rule, i wouldnot have disconnected my 3G service. In their website also these hidden rules are not specified (I have the screenshots of your website). It seems that the customer care people don’t know the guidelines and also the Tata docomo bill generation software lacks some basic calculation. I paid my mobile bill plus Rs.200 for 3G add on pack and sent a complaint to Tata docomo. My complaint reference id regarding this issue is xxxxxxxxxxx. The person who contacted me unable to clarify my genuine concerns and finally sent one sms to me saying my issue sucessfully resolved. Again I sent a email to their official id. I got a reply they checked my account and what they charged is correct only for my data usage. So finally that RS.200 add-on pack is a sad joke.

                              So dear consumers, whatever network you are using if you are under post paid subscription, don’t activate 3G. Remember If I used prepaid the network operator will not get the chance to charge me a huge bill.

                                I have been charged for an unwanted service called dance clib.( at 1st they charged me Rs.5 then Rs.10). Its surprices me that nobody in your customer care exactly knows about this. They are giving me different answer at different times. If i would not get my problem resolved i would be thinking of switching to another operator, actually many o[censored]s.So its the question of the reputation of Tata Docomo. so resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                                  THEIR POST PAID PEOPLE WITH NUMBER [protected]-MR MISHRA, AND MR SANTOSH [protected].

                                  THE SIM KIT IS NOT YET BROUGHT OUT OF THE FOLDER EVEN. THEY HAVE ALLOCATED MY POST PAID NUMBER AS [protected], RELATION NUMBER[protected].

                                  THE TARIFF PLAN IS GSM START[protected] , THE LAREST BILL NUMBER RAISED [protected], DTD 27/4/2011, FOR PERIOD 25/3/11 TO 24/4/11.

                                  NOW, I WILL BLAME THE COMPANY, AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, THAT INSPITE OF INSTIGATING EITHER TO STOP THE PLAN, AS IT IS NOT YET, USED.

                                  I MUST HAVE PAID IN LAST 7 MONTHS, SUM OF NOT LESS THEN RS 2700/- TO RS 3000/-

                                    I have purchanged one SIM of Tata Docomo ([protected]) two months before.My Outgoing and incoming calls have been barred after sometime. When I enquired , I came to know my documents has not been siubmitted by retailer.I went to Tata Docomo Shop,and resubmitted the document personally.When i asked when my services will get activated, I was told it will be activated in 48 hours. After 48 hours also it has not been activated so i enquired Customer care , they told me that they have not recieved any document.And also the SIM became inactive before 48 hours itself. I called customer care from different number.As i was very busy those days i did not get time to go to Tata Docomo Shop again so i purchaged anothe SIM([protected]) as the same saga again. Its very strange do they eat my document.
                                    I wanted to let you know I am a privileged customer of Tata Indicom from past three years and its a postpaid. I have never faced this type of Issue.
                                    I'm using a pre-paid TATADOCOMO 3G wireless broadband.ON14/05/2011 i recharge with Rs 1500.but there is no balance in my card and the speed of the wireless broadband remain in 120 to 121kbps which should be 7.2mbps.till now the speed of my wireless broadband remain in120kbps what is this!.i want to know why.i even call customer care.help me solve this problem.

                                      I want to draw your kind attention to the fact that this dongle was
                                      activated on dated 26th of March 2011. But unfortunetly the services
                                      were not available due to PUK required. I have made several requests
                                      for obtaining PUK Code at Customer Care, Tata Docomo Outlet, Support
                                      Chart and also sent mail at [protected]@tatadocomo.com. But all my
                                      requests were not cared seriously and finally I got PUK Code on dated
                                      5th of April, 2011 that means it take 10 days to solve the problem
                                      i.e. too delay.

                                      My services started from the date of 5th of April, 2011 and the first
                                      month complete on dated 4th of May, 2011.

                                      As per your scheme the first month is free that means the billing for
                                      the period 5th April, 2011 to 4th May, 2011 will be zero amount.

                                      But I regret to write that I have got a bill for the period 5th April
                                      2011 to 4th May, 2011 of Rs. 662/- Only.

                                      So, I therefore your request your honout to please correct the said

                                      Tata Docomo saying that it your 2nd Bill but they can't prove it. Because their scheme for free 5GB in first month is hidden. Now I have decided to say good-bye to tata docomo because the services which I have been found since activation is very very poor. I neither take the connection of this company nor refer to anybody for it.

                                        I Tarun Varma using Tata Docomo sim mobile no. [protected] at Gwalior (MP)for Last 2 years and sim is registered at my own name Tarun Varma, on Dated 8/5/11 I have actived the GPRS pack of rs 5 for one day, According to the condition of this pack I would recieve the data of 50mb uses for net, and if I use beyond this limit the charges will be 10paisa/10kb .
                                        I use net on the same date 8/5/11 for approx 22min and when I switch of the connection of net and check my balance I found that rs105.90 paisa is deducted from my account and still 9 MB data was remained for net uses and also the speed of the net is slow so it consume appox 22 min.
                                        In dated 9/5/11 I talk to customer care Executive, He told me That the deduction was due to additional uses of net of (approx 1000kb ), which is a doutful matter because if I got information after dialling *111#(which is a balace check no.) that you have 0.61 paisa as main balance and 9mb free internet uses.
                                        I also check the last 3 deduction amount which was less than rs 4 for all 3 calls, so please solve my matter because I am fully unsatisfied with the costomer care representative and credit my balance of Rs 105.91 to my account.
