    I have been trying to recharge online my prepaid number [protected] since last one week but have been unsuccessful in all my attempts. I had called up the customer care number, also emailed my concern but still the problem is unresolved. I tried other TATA DOCOMO numbers and was successful making online recharge, hence, the problem is with my number only.
    In all my attempts while recharging online after giving the credit card details, I get the message saying "Payment unsuccessful from Billdesk".
    I request TATA DOCOMO, to resolve the problem at the earliest.

      Last week, May 18th 2011, I received a full talk time offer from Tata Docomo in an SMS. This promotional offer said that the offer ends on April 24th 2011.

      As I was short of balance, I straight away charged with Rs. 75 but only credited Rs. 65 (Expecting Rs. 75). I assumed that the offer would end on May 24th 2011.

      Docomo nowadays sent expired offers, so as to fool their customer. When I contact customer care they won't agree to our problem. They insisted on their stand that, I charged on a date after offer expired.

      Take care when you have Tata Docomo

      See there is no response from Docomo executive for last 20 hours. I would have realized that their system sent expired SMS to cheat their customers.

      On 24th May, I received another SMS (with the expiry date April 27th). For god sake please don't try to cheat a customer, who is already a victim of it.

        Please note the details of my complaint below:

        1) I subscribed to Docomo's INR 299/month postpaid plan ("postpaid") several months ago.

        2) I used phone number [protected] and paid all amounts billed by Docomo until 17th February, 2011. On 17th February 2011, I sent Docomo an email stating my intention to cancel the postpaid plan and requested Docomo to discuss the possibility of moving to a prepaid option. Furthermore, in the same email, I stated that no further amounts would be paid for the postpaid plan. This clearly indicated that I didn't want to pay for the postpaid plan any more and logically implied my intention to cease availing the benefits of the postpaid plan. In effect, the email served as a written notice for cancellation of the postpaid plan.

        3) As per my basic legal rights as an Indian citizen, Docomo was under an obligation to respond to my request as a customer and cease further billing for the postpaid plan. Docomo, however, refused to respond and continued billing INR 299/month for substantially unutilised services. I raised this issue again in an email dated 15th March 2011 and, in all reasonableness, offered to pay for all usage charges. Docomo refused to acknowledge its failure to cancel the postpaid plan, did not accept the offer and failed to resolve the issue then itself. In fact, it continued billing me monthly charges.

        4) I initiated further contacts and raised this issue repeatedly on 25th March (unresolved complaint docket:[protected], 31st March (unresolved complaint docket:[protected], 28th April (unresolved complaint docket:[protected], 17th May (unresolved complaint docket:[protected] and 23rd May - and in each case, Docomo refused to accept the offer for payment o[censored]sage charges and resolve the issue once and for all. In a couple of instances, when I initiated contact with Docomo - on 28th March, 28th April and 17th May - there was no response and/or attempt whatsoever to resolve the issue.

        Please help me resolve this issue. Any advice/tip is much appreciated. Thanks.

        Dear Tata Docomo,

        Your words don't mean anything until you take effective action to resolve the issue.

        You have been saying the same words for the last three months and on the side, kept billing your monthly charges as if nothing happened. Get your act together and coordinate your customer service with your billing department.

        Stop harrassing your customers with such negligence and billing abuses.

          Tatadocomo — Alerts

          tatadocomo has sent a mesasge saying i am subscribed to weekly alerts where as I have never subscribed to these. Called their customer service and they are not helpful instead gave me some wrong number to unsubscribe. this look like cheating where they charge you for some alerts which you never subscribe and also don't give correct info. on how to switch off or unsubcribe from these. Liars

          tata docomo pre-paid connection — Non Deactivation of Value added pack

          Non Deactivatiuon of Value added pack after several time of complain in customer care (121) and in official complaint website also.
          they assur to deactivate within 24 hours or sometimes they says within 4 hours the problem will be resolved.
          But it never happens.Each time eighter they send an sms that problem has been resolved and your mobile no was unreachable or thay simple says that "Mam no pack has been activated in your no"
          3 times my packs has been renewed.total 3 packs,each charges Rs.30 per month.So,30x3x3=Rs.270 has been deducted from my acc.
          This is one type of chiting.
          I dont want to have this pack,as well as renew the pack.
          I am really irritated,disgusted,and stund to see such a poor respons of curtomer care.
          I am really sorry to have such problem and to complain aganist a such reputed Co.
          I want my cash back otherwise I will quite the connection.

          Tata Docomo — Unwanted cricket score updates

          I'm using Tata docomo No. [protected]. I've been receiving score updates for cricket matches. I never activated the service. Rs. 15/- have been deducetd from my account so far i.e. Rs. 5/- per day on 18th, 19th, 20th of May, 2011. Kindly deactivate the service & refund the amount charged to me.

            I am using Docomo Since Jan 11, 2010.
            Last time on 21, Apr 2011 i have recharged with RS. 24 in which is for :- Local and STD Tata to Tata at 1p/6secs for 30 days.
            Yesterday that validity has expired, then today at 6.30 pm i recharge Rs. 24 through online, in website of tata docomo they have mentioned (Local and STD Tata to Tata at 1p/6secs for 30 days) as i have attached screen shot.
            I have called a Docomo STD number then it charged me 1p/2secs.
            When i called to customer care they are telling the tariff plan for Rs. 24 has changed. and then putting me hold for 30 min.

            For this reason i am loosing money. Could you please help me ?

              I had bought a TATA Photon connection on 25th April 2011. After buying the same I have been repenting like anything because all that I have got is only trouble and botheration.

              The only purpose of buying the connection was to do video chatting with my relatives, the requirement was communicated to the sales executive (Manish-[protected]) well in advance of buying. I was committed a speed of 3.1 Mbps but what I am getting is only 100-200 Kbps.

              The network engineer has also checked the same and has updated that there is concern of network around my residence.
              I have complained in the Call center and have also given a call to the Nodal officer…but everyone seems to be sleeping over it.
              Now when I want my refund for the device I am been given only sheer trouble.

              Please get my case resolved urgently (either confirm in writing as to when the network will be optimized or give me my refund ) or else I will be forced to lodge a complaint to DoT. The Photon connection is only a waste for me and is lying unused.

                To Docomo
                I bought the docomo stick for 4000 rs from the docomo store at richmond road at Bangalore, when it was advertised in big that the amount will be paid back (adjusted in 8 months).

                I have been following up since I received the first bill. Each time the rep will tell me to reduce 500 rs and pay the remaining.
                I made two such payments and each time the money was refunded to me.
                Last time the agent said everything is taken care off, and I need to just pay 906 rs. I did that (transaction ref - MCIT[protected])

                I am discontinuing service. I end up loosing some money, but as such experience was sick.
                1) Sending first bill as passcode encrypted, with no passcode provided. It says to send sms from ur device to get passcode! haven't yet provided a means to send sms from your docomo datacard. Had to go the customer care center, but they too dont have a clue. After much struggle, finally got to see my first bill.

                2) Promise a free gift and refund for the stick deposit amount. Had to go to customer care to get the watch, again facing difficulties and embarrassment. Now have to run behind the stupid people to get the discount promised while taking connection. Also my connection has been discontinued since a couple of weeks now for the want of bill payment. Tried to pay the amount as advised by the customer care person a couple of times. Both times amount rejected by the system and returned.

                3) Get continuous sick calls from customer care reps for bill payment, but who have no clue on my account. Can't answer calls properly. Cant speak in English. They just hang up when asked some question. This is a one communication. If I want to get back customer care, it is just not possible.

                4) Compared to photon plus for which I was an user since 2 years (and earlier 3 years user of tata dial-up datacard), docomo is a device. Disconnects frequently. The advantage of 3G speed is only downloading huge amounts of data like movies. Else the connection is very unstable and not good for working professionals who need a steady uninterrupted connection.


                The day I went with a replacement request for earlier Photon plus datacard to their Richmond road Bangalore Customer care center, experience was very bad. The Photon plus guy wanted me to buy a new photon plus card, since the device couldnot be repaired. The docomo guy wanted me to discontinue the Photon plus and buy docomo stick. It was like stepping into two offices, selling competing productions. I made a mistake of taking Docomo and giving up Photon plus.

                They sold me a device at a higher price, with very unstable connection

                last month i think in may i don't know the date properly i activated one caller tune from reay movie
                i got a confconfirmation mess also after some time i called to my same number to listen the song but, which i have activated the song was not coming some different song was coming so called to customer care hw r unfit to sit there one o[censored] customer care attended my call i said him like this has happened what to do he suggested me a great plan to RS-120 in which u can choose any ten songs for RS-120/-- i said him to activate & he said in your next bill only RS-120/-, , will be detected that also no monthly rental for ten songs so, i thought it's a good plan so i said him to activate that RS-120 plan u deactivate that songs which i have seleted before he said ok when i got this month bill message from u i was shocked the bill has crossed RS-800/-, , & above immediately i called to u stupid customer care to explain this caller tune pack he was unable to to explain me & disconnected after some time i called again someone pick up some hw he clarify he said in u account RS-120/-, , has not activated he said month in your account RS-495/-, , will be detected means RS-165/- for only 11 songs & monthly rental for 11 songs some around RS-330/-, , i said him your customer care executive had suggested me that plan so only i activated that he repled my colic has not not activated that plan of RS-120/--, so that is not my problem & that is asking the name the person who suggested the plan he can i know the person name that too one month back i have spoken him i said him to transfer the call to u team leader he did not transfer my intension is to get back my money which has detected from account & requested u guys to appoint some qualified customer executive there are un fit to sit der i know u plans are very good so only i chosen tatadoco in my name two sim are der postpaid der are[protected] my name is md yousuf

                I have been using tata docomo for more than a year and always paid bill in time. In oct2012 i decided to close the connection.I raised the request to close the same on 14th oct after paying bill for that month.I got confirmation about the closing of connection around 17th oct.
                But to my utter surprise, the bill kept on generating for nov and dec eventhough i closed the connection and not used from that day.

                FYI the service request no raised for closing the connection was[protected].
                Please look into the issue as i have become very frustrated explaing the same thing over and over to your cutomer representatives.

                  This is regarding my number[protected] that has been switched to Tata Docomo after MNP. They ported my number in docomo on 12th May and it was working fine till 19th May. Suddenly on 19th May without any prior message or intimation they barred my all outgoing and incoming calls claiming that my documents have not been submitted. The problem i faced after barring is that i was travelling and could call anyone during my family emergency. I was so frustrated calling customer care but no one was trying to understand that how they can switch the number without getting the original documents. I submitted my whole documents to Ganpati Communications, Sai Road, Baddi (authorized Tata Docomo hub) on 5th May, 2011 and they claims that they have already sent the documents to the company. Now after fighting with customer care and their centre where i submitted the documents, i found a major communication gap. But here i got the time to take the revenge with the company for the problem i faced. This is completely a company's fault and i have recorded voice proofs of all the communication happened. I approached my lawyer friend and prepared a notice since there is a clause that number can not be ported unless documents verified and received. And we are now going to submit in the court on Monday to claim the fine. This is a good opportunity to punish such companies who claims that SPOT AN ERROR WE WILL PAY YOUR FINE . Please join me if anyone interested to file your name against the company for the hearing on Monday. Thanks.

                  To add, Tata Docomo doesn't have its own network in Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and many other states. Hence if anyone is roaming to these states roaming will be deducted as 1 and 1.5 rupees. What a company, misguiding people for their 1 paisa/second or Roam free plans. Don't ever ever opt this company. Besides, trust me Tata Docomo has worst worst worst network all over INDIA as well as voice clarity and they never accept it. Thank God for the freedom that comes as MNP.I am testing this network by roaming for 3 months and will provide my more opinion.

                    My complaint is regarding the this Hot sizzling models service getting activated automatically. This has been happening for 4th consecutive time. I am tired of calling the customer care and informing them. I surprised the company and the customer care is still not aware of this! They the service doesn't get activated without my permission. This is very annoying since i have already lost some 40rs.

                    Tata Docomo, had been good till now. But just because of this problem i am thinking of changing my connection. This is not just in my case but others too.

                    I can wait for another 4-5 days. If the problem continues i am going to change the connection.

                      Myself Roysten D'silva .I did a online recharging from website tatadocomo.com, clicked on the special recharge. Then i saw GPRS plan of 95Rs, in benefits it was written as 6GB usage free for 30 days validity but when i recharged my account was credited with only 4GB where is another 2GB? when i asked this to customer care they don't have any idea about this, not only this they don't have any idea regarding any of their services. I asked them to register a complaint regarding this, they said they can't!!! this is really embarrassing. These people are doing fake online recharges?

                            I bought the Tada Docomo 3G data card more than 1 month ego it is still not activated. They have also disabled my SIM so i had to buy new SIM. But even new SIM is not activated and also they are saying you will not get 500 rupess discount on your bill which was there earlier.
                            Its being 1 month and 6 days i bought the 3G new data card and i have just used it for 2 Hours. Its customer care service is also pathetic.
                            I never recommend anyone to but Tata Docomo at any cost.

                                  Sir today on 19.05.2011 from 11 am to 3.30 pm my tata docomo number [protected] was put on switch off when i call from other relience number,but my number was on.when i asked to Mr.Rajesh chauhan the customer care executive at 5.45 pm he replied in monotonus way that there may be network problem.
                                  Sir in such a case there is no hope of action to be taken against these complaint.When i MNP my number from Reliance CDMA to tata docomo network i was delighted.But for last 40 days there is a false deduction of money from my prepaid a/c. In such a serious situation i get fadup by FALSE DEDUCTION AND MISLEADING behaviour.
                                  It is serious complaint to you second time, if no right action is to be taken by you,i have no option to go to higher authorties even upto the level of TRAI.

                                    I am getting stupid calls from the Buddy chat on daily basis; I do not know how it’s activated. Various times, I lodged the complaint and tried to deactivate the service.
                                    I got the confirmation SMS of deactivation also. But again I am getting the same stupid service SMS and calls.
                                    I request you to deactivate the service and provide me the confirmation on same as earliest.



                                    2) I am a customer of Tata Docomo from the last 1 year; repeatedly I am getting the Indoor coverage problem in my area (VimanNagar, chandan Nagar, Wadgaonsheri, Ganesh Nagar, Ahmednagar road, Pune 411010). All other services (Idea, airtel, BSNL etc) have the coverage then why d’nt you have the same??
                                    I am facing this issue since I started this no. Is the Tata Docomo is not liable to provide a better Indoor coverage to me? Every time I am getting the same answer that there is no tower in the mentioned area? Do Tata Docomo have not budget to buy the same? I have seen lots of adds performed by the “Ranbeer Kapoor” keep it simple silly…and “koonwe ka mendak” something like that, … …!!! Are BOSS first can u plz concentrate on the basic service?


                                    Its just like a joke every time happened with me…!!! My colleagues always making jokes of Tata Docomo when they are comparing with Idea, Airtel, Bsnl and even AIRCEL….!!!


                                    Can you please find some solution on the same???

                                      my mobile number is [protected] there is irregular balance cut 20, rs /day when net connecting time also balance deductions 20 rs, with out any message informations .already i have complained alot of times but there is no response at all ..pls take care of necessary actions .



                                      and your customercare response i s so ugly, there way of response not all satisfied .there talking behaviour have to change, plz take action on them.

My complaint - last 20 days, every day i call and say that my rs5 deducted in my account but no one taken action. Yesterday again rs5 deducted and in morning rs3 deducted in my account.

                                        mvc service was auto activated on my no. Before 7 days and deducting 3rs daily and coming a sms daily from 52250 that your mvc was auto renewed. I have many complain to customer care to deactivate my mvc subscription but nothing was doing from cust care and mvc was not providing any facilities . So please deactivate my mvc subscription from my no.[protected]
