Hathway started to charge rs. 50 extra to every customer as service charges.

Their attitude now become again same before 10-15 years earlier, because now they are taking cable charge in advance.

Their staffs / customer service are so useless that never picking a call for complain etc.

Trai must see them as they are harassing customers.

    Their website and app both don't work and all the customer care number provided are either invalid numbers are don't connect.
    I have selected my own pack but that still hasn't even been activated and there is absolutely no response from them but they have charged for the whole months with no services provided. Can I port the service with other one?

      From the past 3 4 months I am facing lot of problem in videocon d2h.sometime they charge wrong amount.I chose my channel last month on 18th feb and my total amount was 278.But my subscription ended on 11th march. Again i recharged on 13th march with rs 330 as mera wala plan was not showing in videocon d2h app. And now after recharging, the chanels i see are like starplus, colors etc. not coming amd showing not part of subsription.I called at customer care no. Of videocom d2h but i cannot even place call to make complaint. I am fed up with this videocon d2h.It has become a worse company.

          I am facing problem related to signal error since 14.03.2019 after continuously follow up to coustmer care through phone and email with great difficulty, I logged the complain to customer care on 16.03.2019 but till no action has been taken by service provider. It almost 24 hrs is our and still they are saying that your problem is resolved within 8 hours.

          Please look into the above matter and take some serious action against service provider.

            Dear TRAI,
            I am facing lot of problem with my videocon d2h. i have recharged it with 500rs but no able to watch any channel and all the money ended without watching any tv channel after they again told me to recharge 316.80/- rs. What happens to my 500rs? they don't know the answer of this.

            I have recharged my account with 500rs and I am
            unable to watch any tv channels from 1/02/2019 then
            can you please tell what happens to my 500rs? And if I again
            recharged it with 316 rs then I don't think so that I
            will able to watch any tv channel again. I don't think so
            that I can continue with videocon d2h.
            Still there is no message of insufficient balance on screen.
            Channel is not subscribed message coming on the screen.
            Still there is the 144.64 rs balance is showing in the My
            account. End of subscription date is 2/04/2019. [protected]
            customer care number automatically got disconnected or if they picked up the phone they took on hold after some time phone automatically disconnected.

              I've tried for the last 3 months contacting customer care, calling engineers and area heads but yet my account is inactive.
              I had spent around 1500/- Rs already (200 Rs recharge two times + 650 Rs connection change + 450 set-up box ) yet there is no resolution.

              I've no idea what is going wrong and whom to contact. Customer care simply takes a complaint, the engineer gives a call and tells me it will be resolved, sir.

              But till date for last 3 months, my account is still inactive and I already lost 1500/- Rs on it.

                We use cable tv network... My stb number is 39919170 located at ambarnath, thane district.
                Our cable operator is konark ip dossier pvt ltd. We have submitted the list of channels which we want to subscribe as per new trai rules to our cable operator. But now the operator says that they have misplaced our list which was given to them.
                The cable operators do not want to follow the new trai rules for channel subscription which is causing hardship to the tv channel viewers.. Kindly take action against the cable operators.

                    Complaints by email were sent to trai designated email id [protected]@trai.gov.in on 02, 06 and 12 mar 2019 with relevant details for action against local cable tv provider for his continued failure to provide selected tv channels even after collecting full fee for the month, which in any case is much more than was being paid earlier for much larger channel bouquets.
                    Trai has not taken any action so far against the errant cable tv provider. By its continued silence, the impression generated is that trai seems to be encouraging such unscrupulous service providers.

                      As per new trai rules, customer needs to pay what he select i. E. (Selected channels) +130+18%gst+selected channels.

                      But my cable operator is not giving channels as per trai rules. They are giving there own basic pack forcefully which includes 100 fta and their 47 ucn channels. But as per trai rules we are getting 100 sd channels capacity in 130+18%gst.in that dds 25 channel are mandatory and in remaining space we can choose paid and fta channels it will save our ncf fees but they don't allow to choose channels as per our choice and new rules.

                      I complaint against them in ucns head office but they did nothing.

                      Because of this malpractice i didn't subscribed any pack or channels and i will not subscribe untill i get solution of problems

                        We have called almost 30 times to videocon d2h custome care number on 17.03.2019 and nodal officer on 18.03.2019, for asking them why all the broadcaster packs are not available for selection. But each time representative of d2h ask as to wait and the call disconnected and average wait period of each call is 30 mins.
                        Attaching the email as image for the more details. Even the nodal officer don't pick up the phone after full complete ring for 25 time. For the same image is attached.

                        We would like to inform you that as discussed over the call with you on RTN- [protected], we have shared the information about the package. Moreover, since you have has done the recharge for the long term so your package will not migrate till the expiry date of your account which is 09-Jul-2019 and also you will get those channels till that date which you have with old package.

                          Now i want my no.in prepaid but store not give me and say's 498 rc is compolsry. I want to port my no.in other's company but company manager say's you pay 498 rs. We do not anything. And other's custmor ko bhi company postpaid no. Hi deti h kisi ko bhi prepaid no. Provide nhi karti. Inki complaint kisi govt. Office me to hoti nhi bechharon ki majboori ho jati h duplicate sim ko lene ki.

                            I asked to talk with their senior but they don't.

                              There is technical issues with my sun direct Dth setup box, some channels is not appearing in a box, I just called to customer care number, but they have told like it is a technical issues so we are sending service advicer, and he will charge like Rs. 150.00 my question is Why I need to pay service charges for technical issues.? And there is no manual issue, if it is a technical issues why I should pay..? These people has robbering from customers..? Is this the better service for the customers..?

                                My videocon d2h channel pack (Id:[protected] has been changed forcefully (Without my consent) on 16mar19. On talking to customer care, they are not able to resolve & not accepting this complaint. Email complaint has been sent.

                                I need my channel pack to be reverted back to my original plan. Trai regulation to change plan is 31mar19 and i will abide by it. I am being forced to change my plan immediately by videocon. This is unauthorized transaction by videocon d2h and needs to be reversed immediately. Please help. My phone - [protected]

                                  After repeated complaints on call, email and whatsapp ss cable network who provides indigital cable service is not responding. Firstly they are activating channels not asked for. After payment also online they show payment due. After repeated request and conformation of package selected they are not doing the needful and due to which we are unable to make payment. They are just confirming verbally that online amount is erroneous but they are not doing anything to correct it.
                                  It's a torture for the client.

                                    Ever since the new revolution has occurred in the cable world we are paying high than usual, what is the benefit of a common in selecting the channel on high price we were able to watch the same on 300 per month which has raised to 350 and that too on only limited channels.

                                      I am a resident of vikaspuri, new delhi. I am taking cable viewing services from novabase digital pvt. Ltd. But this complaint is not specifically against any company but a general complaint against the new scheme of cable viewing charges.
                                      Though the scheme was brought with a noble intent but with the advent of new cable tv charges regime, the intent of which is to pay only for channels which a person view, the charges of cable tv has gone up instead of going down. Apart from paying rs. 153/- for fta channels, even if we choose 10 prime channels individually, price of which is rs. 19/- each (Rs. 224/-, the total cost comes to rs. 377/- (Including gst) for these channels.
                                      Previously, we were able to view approx. 300 channels in rs. 300/-all inclusive, even though we were not viewing all these channels. Even in case of choosing the banquets, which each digital distribution company company has made, the price comes much higher for the channels which we want to view than in previous scheme under which we have to pay rs. 300/-, since banquets are devised in such a way. It has not proved to be a cost effective exercise and too cumbersome. Hope a solution could be find out to get out of this hole.

                                        Not following even the channels they have mentioned in their own packages. For example they are not airing &flix channel even though it is present in their package, although &tv is being aired. The local cable operator said the connection is not being provided by gtpl kcbpl itself. There is no response from gtpl kcbpl. Selecting channels individually is costing more and cable operators are reluctant to provide them, so forcing us to select packages.
