    My name is Umesh and I have buyed the TVS Apache RTR 180 last 1 month back and the bike is not good, the rear wheel wobbles very much and the engine sound is also more and the gears slips and it is very hard, The first service also finished then also the bike is not good and i showed the bike out side leaving tvs service centre they told that the rear tyre itself is not in a good finishing and the problem is from when I took the bike from showroom itself I think some rejected piece they have given to me. So do me the oblige otherwise i will go to consumer court on the company... Ph-[protected]

    my name is gouse iam frm AP, I buyed TVS Apache RTR 180 9th April-2010.In our city service is very very very poor.mechanics also not good.Ph-[protected]
    My name is yakoob I'm using rtr180 model 2009 September . From d bigning it shows a mixing the dealer said it's ok new bike will like this only... And til nw I have changed 6 power plugs... I showed to the service center . Again they said you not need to change the plug we will take care of it... Then now it's finished one year they are saying you have to do paid service... Every one will know about paid service.. They will change everything and put the blame on us... So I didn't giv it for paid service...and also it's only finished the free service Last month...So what can I do???

      My two problem is from starting one is bike bubling and second is leakage but after six service the problem is still as it is. when we ask service centre (Mr. kamal) to give TVS service manger/enginer he refuse and told that Service enginer strictly told him that dont give his number to any customer.
      I totally agree with it and I am facing same kind of problem .
      MY Engine No -BF5P61055901 CHASSIS NO.-625KF5771A58583 MODEL TVS STAR CITY. Purchased from your authorised dealer ADHISHWAR TVS (AHMEDABAD). Their is a reduction in oil level due to problem occured in engine. Kindly do the needfull regarding this.

        Dear sir
        Iam shanmuganand my mobile no [protected].i bought Tvs Apache on feb-2010.iam getting vibration in vehicle.i have given first service but the problem is not rectified.even at the speed of 50's vehicle getting vibrated.but the showroom mechanic are negleting the issue.they are saying that slight vibration will be there.i dont know whats the problem kindly help me in this issue..if the issue not rectified planning to lodge complaint...

        HI This is Vishnu Prasad, My Mob No is [protected]. I own APACHE RTR 180. I Agree with shanmuganand. I too Get the same prob.. Due to vibration, I'm not able to take my bike for long journey. I keep on giving complaint for this issue, But the least service what they do is clean up parts, fix as such and give it back. The funniest part is my 3rd Service. I gave it to the dealer with 14 complaints listed, and the man told me that my bike will be ready within 3 hours. worst every care taken for the consumer complaints. Now its jus 3 days from the time of taking my bike. not even 1 among 14 complaints that I have given was handled properly. Worst!!!

        Vibration in the Bike is the most worst one, for which the mechanic says its Normal. How can a Vibration in a Bike be normal??? that too paying more than 77, 000 for this bike, the Manufactures should take the responsibility to correct the vibrations. Due to vibrations All other body parts are going waste.

        Atleast after seeing these many complaints the TVS MOTOR COMPANY Should take some steps to solve the issue, and Keep up their name and Trust!!!

          Sir,
          I am the combatant member of Indian Air Force and purchased one TVS Star City bike from authorized dealer of TVS Motors(Jindal Motors) in Hissar (Haryana) for use at my home through CSD (Canteen Stores Department) on 11 Feb 10.The details of the bike and dealer are as follows

          When i went to inquire the availability of the bike before making demand draft in favor of CSD Public Fund Account, the dealer charged me Rs400/- for handling charges and booked the bike.Later i came to know that these charges of Rs400/- for handling in addition of CSD DD (Rs33,824/-) are unfair.When i inquired, the dealer told that CSD remits Rs.33489/- only. When i argued that no other company is charging such type of charges and they are also being remitted amount after some deduction by CSD. The dealer told me that this is the company's charges and he is in the possession of authority letter of the company. . If it is so the dealer must provide me with xerox copy of some authority letter and include this amount in the bill for this service. But he tried to bluff and did not show me the letter and give me bill for the bike of Rs33,489/-only (bill no 747). Beside this Rs600/- & RS150 were charged for accessories and Temporary Registration number respectively and no bill was given to me for that. This is wrong practice.
          I had to report back to my unit after leave so i could not complain to Hissar CSD. I have inquired that no other company is charging this handling charges. Now I am on my duty staion and the dealer is not responding well and denied to give company's email ID.
          My point of view is that i have purchased the bike through CSD. If TVS has to made such expenses, it should include these expenses in the amount of demand draft with the consultation of CSD. Because it is the CSD who is remitting the amount for the bike and dealer should give me the bill which includes these expenses. So it is the CSD who is puchasing the bike from TVS Motors

          my bike no is TN45 AP 7743. i gave my bike for first service on saturday 27-02-10. but till today i didnt recieve my bike. and there is no phone calls from them. when i went to inquire about the bike i came to know that they didnt service my bike at all till today 02-03-10. and irresponsibility answer for their delay. very bad service from PLA MOTORS TRICHY

            My vehicle regn. no. is GJ-5 FS 5483. I purchased TVS APACHE-180 in September 2009. at that time tvs company was having many service station here in vadodara. But may be due to their internal affairs the owner of most of the service station(east africa) has close down the service station of TVS. At present there is only one service station in vadodara which requires us to reach there before 9.00 A.M. It is not posible for me to reach before 9.00 A.M due to my classes as I am a student and living outside my home town. I have complained 3 times to TVS customer care but no satisfactory reply has been given to me, and there is no reponsible person replying to the querry. Please help me as I have bought this bike for Rs.70000/- and still its warranty period is yet to expire and no one is replying any thing. Please reply as early as possible.....

              Wth regret i mention u that i have purchased TVS apache rtr fi 160 bike from Surya Automobiles ,B-19, Jhilmil Indl Area,Delhi-110095.that is one of your tvs showroom.
              From the day of purchase of this bike i am facing problem in this bike..as this bike doesnot run smoothly,
              sales services was not good.
              I have purchased this bike on 20 Oct 2008 and i went for the regular servicing of this bike. But to my great disappointment the bike's performance starts getting deteroriting and eventually somtimes there was problem in pump(fi), lights, ecm to my great concern i am now facing problem in its engine which it seems to be ceased.
              To add to my disgust, when i went to surya Automoibiles for the servicing i came to know that,they have vanished and that all the servicing center of Surya Automobiles have been dismantle or closed.
              Earlier when I was facing these problem I have cotacted to TVS Motor Company Limited ,Hosur ,TN.
              It was somehow got rectified.It now seems to me that for purchasing a bike is just a nothing but a nightmare.
              One thing I would like to tell u that i had driven the bike with utmost care.I want to possess it but now i just want it that u should do the needful as it is nothing but garbage.

              Apache Fi 160cc — Silencer sound

              I bought Apache Fi 160 CC . while driving the bike at a speed of 60 KM the silencer is bursting and giving a bomb blasting sound . And also the indicator switch is not working properly . I gave many compalints in the showroom . Ramkay TVS Adyar . Chennai

              i have purchased apache rtr 160 from your dealer in september 2008.but before any service problem arise in vehicle..I went to your dealer for remove the problem. your dealer at baddi change the self bearing and also open the engine and change the ball and say that your vehicle is in ok condition. but i surprised to see that my vehcile is consuming mobil oil in very higher side. please solve my problem otherwise i will constrained to take legal action in consumer court.

                HI I purchased apache rtr bike on 02/02/2010 at goodwill motors in annanagar . On purchase date itself i got an problem in the hand bar's .so i requested the TECHNICIAN to make clear of that he got bike in to the garage . AFTER few minutes he got out the bike from the garage in a very fast manner and he admited me on the rear sit of my bike . HE driven the bike in half clutch position in high speed by seeing this i said him to stop the bike . AFTER that he asked me what's the problem sir . i asked what's yr name . he said his name ;;;;;; .I shouted on him for mishandling my new bike and i asked y u have done like that . he requested me not to COMPLAIN . SO i didnt complained with anybody for his future... but i feared with the services to be done in the future . so please take ACTION against this like COMPLAINTS

                  I purchesed a new Apache RTR 160 just one month ago on 5th jan 2010.It had a serious problem with its shock absorbers.They always make large sounds when getting on to even small obstacles.The dealer said that it would be corrercted in the first servicing.At the time of first servicing I mentioned the problem with a serious concern and it is not yet corrected.Now they are saying that it will take another 3 hours to completely correct the bike.It has also problems wih the gear shifting and also the bike vibrates dangerously in the speed of 50-60km/H.

                    iam very sorry to write a complaint on this, recently my bike was got accident and i handover to show room which was near to my place Dharmana TVS at visakhapatnam in andhrapradesh, those showroom garage guys replaced original parts like disc brake, pump and shock absorber pump with duplicate cheap parts. And they charged for 16000rupees as repair charges, after three days of deliver the vehicle we noticed and we got problems with back disc brakes and shocks. Please take an seviour action on that company and act as favour to me. Iam not scared to show my name and details on this complaint.

                      I have puschased one Digital CDI AC (N2060080) from Shree Krishna Agencies, Canara Bank Building, Sevoke Road, Siliguri, West Bengal (Authorised Parts Stockist-TVS Motor Co. Ltd.) with a cash of Rs.1170.00 (rupees one thousand one hundred and seventy only) on 7th January, 2010 at 6:35 p.m.But when I went to the stockist (namely Mr.Sandip Agarwal) to return the purchased article after a half an hour, he denied to take it back, saying he doesn't return money in exchange of sold goods.Even he denied to sell other products of the same amount exchanging the sold CDI AC. The returned product was well sealed and packed. Can any authorised stockist do this?I attach herewith the Tax Invoice.

                        Right from the day one iam facing lot of troubles with engine such as millage, starting problem etc.. and also no proper tyregrip on the road when ever the disk break is applied the rear wheel skids hope a speedy response from you.

                        Right from the day when i purchase a new TVS 180RTR facing problem with self starting problem.
                        Not only apche the other tvs bikes also creating problem during self start .
                        u all are fools that is the reason u r facing problems
                        for your sake get rid from this bike and go for a unicorn
                        try 2 under stand tvs is not an inter national company so it gives only that ... honda is an international company then it gives you that quality
                        unicorn is like ..only a fool can advise such bike to someone.I am having apache rtr 180 since past 1 year..no problem with self start..good mileage..everything is just superb

                          Hi,

                          I am Arun. I bhought TVS Apache in Dec 2009. After 3rd day (I only drove for 80 km) my engine bold was gone and all the engine oil went off. It seems that this caused because of bad component fixing by the TVS or by the show room.

                          Please do not buy TVS vehicle from SriHari Motors, Bangalore (Opp: Forum Mall). The service is very bad. These people took money for additional parts like indicator buzzer and laddy handle but these were not really installed in my bike and they closed the shop and kept my bike outside on the day I purchased the vehicle. The response was so bad.

                          I request TVS, please take care of this kind of bad show rooms.

                          TVS apache — regarding proper functioning

                          sir,
                          i bought a new APACHE RTR160 and right from the next day I am experiencing problems as follows:
                          1. There is noise coming from the disk brake at equal intervals of movement of front tyre.
                          2. its pickup is very low. after 1 hour standstill, it has to be forced start with the help of choke.

                          I was having Apache 150 before and with a good wxperience, i tended to buy a new one but unfortunately this bike is giving so much of problem.
                          As thid id the manufacturing defect ,i want to ask you that is there any procedure i can imitate to get my bike replaced..
                          please make my problem fixed as soon as possible!

                          The worst product, worst area sale manager Delhi and the worst, worst after sale service. Every one whoever purchased TVS apache is repenting of the black day of purchasing. I purchased TVS apache in Nov 2008 from SK Traders, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi.

                          About service

                          I had an accident and i gave my bike to the given service center. Its almost 20 plus days till now my bike is not repaired. When ever i call the service center the told me always its take 3 to 5 days but its almost 20 days crust it we not getting service in time so why should we purchase TVS .

                            MY BIKE'S front has been changed before it was sold to me. I have informed the TVS company in the initial 7 days of purcahse that either there is some fault in the bike or the parts have been replaced but they do not admit to the fact. One showroom in panchkula says that there is some defect and has changed the front of the vehicle however the CMPL TVS showroom in chandigarh denies the fact till date. I had never thought that it is so unsafe to buy products from shwrooms. It means stand at the showroom door and wait for the delivery truck. As soon as the truck comes buy the bike else some changes would be done to your bike.

                            I have written complaint to the TVS authorities thrice. I am pasting the emails to this complaint. Please help.

                            I really disappreciate the kind of importance given to the cusotmers in TVS.

                            I am wring down my story once again and if you understand kindly give an immediate response as 60000 rs of mine are lying at home, standing in the shape of TVS apache.

                            i PURCHASED APACHE RTR 160 from CMPL AUTOMOBILES CHANDIGARH on[protected]. In the initial days as it was mentioned that the bike needs to be driven slowly I did not drive it at a speed of more than 40km/L however after the first service when i drove the bike at around more than 50 km/L i and my friends experienced that the bike is not stable and is bending on one side. After driving the bike for 10 kms at a stretch a pain used to emerge in the left hand of the driver. I took the bike to CMPL and told them regarding the issue. The mechanics and the head of the agency there said that there is no issue and the shaking of the bike is only because the tyres are having a defect. They gave me the number of the tyre engineer([protected]. I kept on calling the engineer but to my misfortune he was always travelling and we could not meet for a week. In the end i got the tyres replaced from outside.

                            Now, the bike was still instable and the pain in the left hand story did not stop. I took the bike to EKAM AUTOS IN PANCHKULA and they admitted that there is some issue in the front of the bike. I then wrote a letter to your company stating my problem. I did receive a call from an engineer in Delhi and some people in chandigarh and was finally told to give the bike to CMPL for repair. I went there and the service engineer Rohit Aggarwal checked the bike and said that there is no issue and the bike is perfectly fine. I was so disgusted with his reply that I literally wanted to take the bike and go back home and write the incidence to a local news paper but rohit told me to collect the bike in the evening. They softened the rear shockers and gave the bike back to me. There was no difference in the running of the bike. Same instability, pain in the hand, bike's face dropping on one side. I then came to know that ROHIT ([protected]) and AREA MANAGER Mr. Bhatia ([protected]) are going to do nothing about this issue. They are just trying to passify me and finish this complain.

                            The CMPL people asked me to write on a paper that the bike is fine now and then only can i take the bike. I thought that it might be the regular procedure so I followed it and the very next day I took the bike to EKAM auto in panchkula. The EKAM people said that they will change the front of the bike and the problem might get away. I was not at all ready for the repairs but as the problem was not shedding away I agreed so that I can at least ride my new bike at ease.

                            TO MY AND AGENCY PEOPLE'S SHOCK, when the bike's front was opened for changing the t and the shocker rods the bike was found to be pre-opened. The support under the front mud guard known as the chimta was missing. It clearly states that the bike was opened and while fitting back the parts the mechanic forgot to put the chimta in place again.

                            Your company authorities, rohit and Mr. Bhatia are not listening to the issue at all. I will go to the court, to the news paper authorities and to everyone possible to get justice in this regards. I have spent good 60000 bucks for my convenience and not for harassment. Please LISTEN TO MY COMPLAIN AND CHANGE MY BIKE. I HAVE TOLD YOUR COMPANY MY PROBLEM IN THE INITIAL WEEK OF PURCHASE, MANY TIMES ON THE EMAIL AND NOW LAST TIME i HAVE TOLD YOU THE STORY ONCE AGAIN. i REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY TAKE THIS CASE SERIOUSLY and ask your dealers not to touch the bike until sold. i need immediate justice in this regards. I will not drive a repaired bike.

                            I am very disappointed at the quality of service given to me. Your service engineer Mr. Rohit Aggarwal and are manager Mr. Bhatia is not able to resolve my problem.

                            It has also been proven that the bike which has been sold to me was opened before being sold. The service people of TVS at panchkula have themselves checked that the front portion of the bike was opened.

                            Is this the kind of crookedness being carried out at the TVS showrooms???? The chandigarh showroom owner has got this bike opened and parts replaced before it was sold to me.

                            I had a problem in the bike handling since day 1. I reported the problem to the showroom people in the initial days of purchase but nothing happened. They kept on saying that the problem was in tyres and not in the bike. I got the tyres replaced from outside and the problem still persists. Now, the panchkula service center of TVS opened up the front of the bike and replaced the T and the shocker rods. Still the problem is there. Why should I drive a repaired bike when I had reported the problem in the first 15 days. How the hell a showroom owner has the guts to get the brand new bike's parts replaced. This is the final letter which I am writing to the company. In case you do not give an ear to my problem, I will go to the consumer court

                            I will make sure that each and every news paper in chandigarh knows what happens in the showrooms at TVS outlets. I have been harassed many times now. 6 holidays from my office. Leaving important work, and what i get is only assurance.

                            my tvs apache 160 RTR, in their problem is piston, vehchle dhuan de raha hai. my complain no. is 125(reference no.)complain date is 17/7/2008. i bought tvs apache 160 RTR tvs showroom in dak banglow, patna, bihar.you change my piston.
                            I have been trying to contact the TVS main Office but there is no information available regarding this. I am a VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER of TVS.
                            I have purchased the RTR 160 Yellow Apache, double disk from A. K. Automobiles, Kirtinagar Shahadra, Delhi on 20th September 2009 and still have not received my RC till date. I have contacted them every week since the purchase of my bike for the RC and the number as well. I received the number in 25 days!! Due to which the bike was parked at my house for over 2 weeks!!
                            As far as the RC is concerned as I mentioned above I have been calling every week and the personel there tell me to come to their office either a saturday or a sunday of that week and when I go there they tell me that I will have to wait for another week, so I have been going to their office every week since the purchase of the bike.
                            I purchased the bike from TVS due to their image but now will suggest against using the services of TVS as they are tardy, time consuming, irresponsible and bothersome.
                            I have one problem. My bike (TVS Apache RTR 160) gets started with any keys you want. I was afraid when i first noticed it. Now im really scared because my bike is not secured. I tried to start the bike with a key of Bike named "Global 125cc" and it worked, then i tried with another key that was of a locker and it too worked. Anyone can start my bike with any keys and take anywhere. Im afraid that my bike gets stolen. Now Im looking for a new set of keylock if i can replace it. I dont know the fixed price and the sellers have different rates of that lock. Some says more and some says even more. There is no fixed rate in here. So i want to know the actual pice of the keylock. How much does it cost? Will there be any problem if I changed it? Please reply me.

                              I had purchased tvs teenz electric battery moped from east efrica motors Baroda .my no is GJ6 CN 5128.
                              this vehical has main problem of charger brake down and the connection point melt frecuently.this is main headak. aftre the one year and three month battery loosing its ampear and it become risky to go in the nearer areas due to weak battery it hsah 20 A. battery .costing of the battery is 5000.00 dealer say Lakulish motors. no other option with the coustomers.

                                THEY SAY IT IS NO TENSION BIKE ON ROAD AND TRAFFIC BUT IT IS TENSION EVERYWHERE ELSE.

                                they keep on saying the parts has been ordered and the parts will be coming soon in the work station at Mumbai.

                                i don"t understand one thing that it is a Rs 100 part accelerator cable which was damaged they don't have in spare . then why you make them your dealer.

                                why the company make such product in which they can't supply normal basic parts also.
                                if there would be any machine problem i think i have to wait for a 2 months or more...

                                People please don't buy bike of these company. NO PARTS IN SERVICE STATION AND COMPANY.
                                I also have the same experience I bought a Tvs jus print KP 3150 which is not working after three months. Posted complaint after several attempts and they told your complaint no. is LO 1109 and told they will replace it with a new one but weeks paased nothing happened my work is getting terrible effected

At the time of purchasing there was a yellow spot at the front tier matgard of my bike. & the dealer Mr. Sharma (Tanya Motors) given me in writing that he will change it when the part is available. But today when i went to him to change the part he said that he will not change.
                                  So Please take a serious action against the dealer.

                                  i wish to bring to your kind notice that tvs dealer in karaikudi and their behaviour is worst. tvs company should rethink on appointing such dealers and it is loss for the company. i booked sooty pep plus and they promised they will supply within 15 days even after 100percent payment but he gave me some other color after three months of continous shouting. i will never forget this in my life. a dealer who has money and many business shoul be avoided by giving dealership. give dealership to a young graduate and help him in growth? whether tvs authorities will look into my suggestions.

                                    This is reference to services provided by the company ADITI TVS in sector 10 noida. the services provided by the company is patehetic. i gave my bike for servicing on nov 15th, it was my 9th service, what the company did was replaced my original working part that is right hand ignition switch to the older non working one. i got my bike checked before submitting it to get serviced and then also they gave me a call at evening that my bike's righ hand ignition switch is not working, which was working properly in the morning before giving my bike for servicing.
                                    i complaint this to the owner mr arvind as well but he instead started blaming on me and not his mechanics. the manner he spoke was really arrogant and disgustful. I would request everyone not to give bike for servicing to ADITI TVS. the services are really bad and this is turn makes the product of TVS company have a bad name in the public.
                                    At last i bought it from CASTROL Bike Zone and got it fitted.
                                    it is not the first time it happened, every time i gave my bike for servicing something or the other part which was working properly earlier got damaged and replaced.
                                    The owner Mr. Arvind is also not cooperative and instead says that we don't issue any guarantee certicate that the part which was working before servicing will remain the same till it gets serviced.
                                    Pathetic and very pathetic service is provided by the comapny, instead you can do the servicing of the bike yourself rather than getting it done by the ADITI TVS.
                                    This company will make the product of TVS company have a bad image in the public

                                      This is to bring to your notice how lethargic your attitude has turned out to be . I am not sure how far this complaint would be taken seriously , however I need to express my anguish .I had given my Apache Bike for Service on 28 Nov 2009 and they gave the Bike on 1 Dec 2009 . They gave it back informing that the Battery needs to be changed and they don’t have the Stock .I need to tell you that the Service was absolutely Sloppy and they Charge Rs 300 . I am willing to pay not an issue however there should be service and the Foremost everyone should be customer centric .
                                      I had a New battery fixed from outside and the person told that Battery is not charging since a Gadget which charges the Battery while the Bike is running is conked out and this can be done only at the Service Center and which is only 15 min job. Hence I took the bike to your Goodwill Automotive and the arrogant attitude shown by the staff was alarming . They don’t care for the Customers . On top of it they asked the Leave the bike for 1 day . Why should I ? When they have already taken 3 days and this being a 15 min job . Not only me there were 2 other Customers of yours Yelling on Top of their Voice when I went in to take delivery of my vehicle . All your Customers are taken for a ride by this careless and lethargic behaviour . No one is looking at Goodwill Motors, we all are looking at TVS as a Brand and going and ultimately it is TVS Brand which gets Bad name for itself .
                                      For a Paid Service they take 3 Days and Free Service they give it on the Same Day ? Why is this Discrimination . Arent we giving our Hard earned Money . Ideally speaking it should be the reverse , Paid Service should be given on the same day and Free Service should be taking 3 Days.

                                        my bike viberates above speed of 50km per hr. i have been complaining it to tvs speed hazratganj since 2nd service as it is an authorised tvs service centre but no actions have been taken until yet. this niglectance of these agencies may lead to change in brand prefrence of your customers, so its my humble request to you to kindly look towards my problem.
                                        You are absolutely right friend. The TVS apache RTR HAS SOME manufacturing defect. The handles of the bike are not placed in the right angle of comfortability.

                                        I think the issue your bike has is that either the chassis of the bike is not straight or the front is a damage in transit case.

                                        TVS is the worst experinece of my life too, , , , ,
                                        I want justice from TVS myself. I have written many complaints but of no use. This time I have tried to get to the consumer court. I had purchased bike on 10 nov 09 and since 17th nov 09 i am lodging in complaints.
