In the bill They charged an extra amount of 114 RS under the name shotformat_dwnlp_9 and animation_download, its not only for me, please check in this link - http://www.consumerforums.in/fraud-vodafone-montly-billing . I called the customer care they refused the complaints . then finally I asked any way is there to avoid these kind of charges, for that also they not replying properly . I want my money back .

Customer care response is very pathetic, they just having same tape that we cant do anything on this.

I will coplaints many time vodafone customer care and vodafane ministore but not responsiple i will complaints for july 28, 2014 till to the time not responsiple and not solve this my problem

      1) I have been charged for Download charges of 99 Rs for downloading hello1_tvallsouth_. The bill shows usage as 0 kb. If I have downloaded this how come the usage is 0 kb. I have checked on google & found that lots of customers have been cheated like this. These charges must be reversed. I spoke to Customer care & they had no satisfactory answer. Please do the needful. 2) I bought a new Micromax phone & received a 3G complementary data plan free for 2 months. I was already using a 2G plan but since I am using a 3G plan I should not have been charged for a 2G plan. How can one use 2G & 3G at the same time ? Besides I had also requested earlier for revoking the 2G plan. I believe this is cheating of customer & these charges must be waived from my Bills.

      There is no authentication & money is automatically charged.

      Vodafone recharging site is a hoax! People are being deceived by this company. I recharged for rs 151 full talk time through this site and and they confirmed it through a message to a my number. But the message said " Rchrg of MRP Rs 151.0 on 31-may-15 successful. Tlktime rcvd Rs 1.51, Stax Rs 16.61, AccessFee Rs 132.88, New Bal Rs-22.44. ... " . I mean what the heck??! it clearly states MRP of rs 151 successful and talktime 1.51 received?????? and whats this access fee????... really everyone this company is making a fool out o[censored]s!!!... a company!! even their customer complaint site is a fake.. they are really cheating us... same thing happened to my brother!!...

      Vodafone is the worst company in India. I had postpaid connection couple of months back. I activated 3g pack of rs 149. First month was fine.. But in second month i got bill of rs 1200!. When i enquired they said i used 3g more. But the problem is whenever i check the 3g balance it used to say 'due to some technical problem we are nt... It Goes on. Again i called so called Customer care (they never care for anyone ) they spoke to me in such a harsh way! So i decided to stop this service n didn't pay the amount.. After 1-2 month they called and told me to pay 1900!!! It means i shud pay for their service which i never used.. Am going to fight against their company. Vodafone is the worst company in India.. Ban Vodafone in India.

      my vodafone no is [protected], my point is I had checked my internet usage through mobile app on 25th of april means on my bill generate date, i saw that usage was below 200 mb
      I called C/C on same day they said that your usage had more than 400 mb
      I am asking you If I saw my usage below 200 mb how could you people said that it is more than 400 mb it does mean you cheated people to rob their money
      I am strictly requesting to inquiry about it

      I ported from TATA to vodafone but I must say that both companies stealing customer money
      I got an offer of 1gb @48 for 28 days.I recharged but got 500md.I call 198 but they refused to back me rest 500 mb.

        I have converted my tata docomo number to vodafone number by means of number portability ([protected]). It was a corporate connection. The vodafone service executive was very nice and informative till I took the connection. At the time of submitting the application, he took all the valid address proofs and all the documentation needed. After 2 days, the vodafone service executive called me to verify the address. I told him very clearly about the address. He told that he would be coming for the address verification, but he never turned up. After 2 days, i got a SMS indicating that the services would be terminated if my address was not verified. Then I have called to the no [protected] for requesting them to do address verification. (That number was there in the SMS). The service executive was very arrogant and he told that he will call back recklessly!! But after that no body turned up for doing address verification. Suddenly today morning (5-August-2014), the services got barred (stopped). When called to the customer care, they are saying that the address verification was not done and hence the services were stopped. For that, they asked me to submit the address proofs in their vodafone outlet. So for that, I have to apply leave to my job and keep roaming around vodafone outlets. Iam having a big doubt here!!! Is it the responsibility of VODAFONE IN to do the address verification or it is the responsibility of the customer to do the address verification. VODAFONE IN failed to do the adddress verification in the stipulated time period and for their failure to do so, the customers should suffer and their services should be hampered. Now I am unable to do any outgoing calls and I don't know to whom I should complain and who will hear my cries!!! PS: VODAFONE IN: If you are competent enough to run a tele network, get the hell out of here. Kindly, you don't bother the customers. The customers are also having their own jobs to do and simply they cannot keep roaming around your outlets.

          1. Lots of "interactive menus" . WE DONT GET THEM! ITS CONFUSING! For me it's ok, by digging through the menus 2-3 times, I can finally arrive at what I want, but what about people who cannot? Specifically elder citizens. These menus are not at all user friendly. 2. So much time to get person on the other side. I was made to wait for 5 minutes. What kind of a customer care, that too in India, would make its customer wait for 5 whole minutes to get to them? The last I checked, the whole point of customer care was to reduce the waiting/hold time for customers..hello?? SERVICES-101 !! 3. I think that they purposely keep that waiting. They also announce 5 minutes, 7 minutes waiting, (just so that they dont get into legal trouble?). I noticed..exactly around 5 minutesm, they picked up the phone, and a sad voice said, vodafone customer care, "happy to help you" . Happy to help you my backside!! Basically, somebody needs to sue this company to remind it of its limits!

            hello my name is Mohini Sonar i want to rent my land for mobile tower installation in Murbad, thane district, (MUMBAI). my land was firstly selected by 3g vodafone in chandigarh. the MD name Shiv Bimal had sent me papers as agreement paper which had the address Office no. 82, 2nd Phase, 1st floor bajaj telecom, sector 70, mohali, chandigarh -160070. they have taken money but no progress in work is shown for mobile tower installation.

Then they send documents of Agreement paper, jest we will observe the documents : 1) when ever received the land documentation along with 2200/-Rs. We will provide first payment RS 40 Lacs deposit in your account. 2) 25000/- lease hold tax/NOC with in 72 hours will pay, first payment deposit in your bank, 3) on this letter when ever installation of tower the advance will pay 80lacs. 4) it's tower of installation Vodafone 4G. . 5) money 2200/- paid in A/c no.               I own a blackberry with Vodafone number [protected]. I am a Vodafone subscriber since 2011. Presently under Vodafone Value 199 CUG plan Rs.199 *per month. I am enjoying itemized bill facility for last several years. I also receive my bills in my email registered with them in addition to the paper bill. Last month the Customer care Vodafone contacted me for Go Green option to avoid receiving the paper bill. To support the cause, i agreed. Thereafter, in the bill, i found an amount of Rs.50 has been charged for Itemized bill. After writing to their nodal officers and Corpcare, 7-8 times, i have received any clear and specific reply except parroting, the bills is in order. Also, i have cancelled 3G data plan 4 months back in this mobile. However, this time i have noticed in the bill amount has been charged for Mobile connect. The Blackberry instrument does not allow any access to data in the absence of data plan. For this too i have written 7-8 times with out receiving any specific reply. It creates lot of mental agony and customer dissatisfaction. i have been asked to pay for what i am not liable to pay. Request an action. Regards Kamalasekar b

                I have port Tvodafone to airtel but I have less then 90 days in vodafone but vodafone store surajpole udaipur rajasthan did not suggest me that you can't port less than 90 days that reason vodafone suspended my number from 22/7/14 I have request reactivate my number but not reactivate till now.I have harassed. I am going vodafone store everyday and request to ssolve my problem.

                  Hi Im, Rajesh Kumar, uses the service of vodafone my number was prepaid, but I want change it into postpaid. I called to customercare numbr to know the best plan in postpaid, there was a lady I dont want tell her name she told me about one plan and confirm the charges of INR 450/- inclusive taxes, I gave my pohot and one identity proof to change into postpaid plan, after that My number service was terminated for 5days, and I know how to live without any comunication source in this humman unity. when I used to call between these five days to coustamer care they I did not lisren properly and only coment me that paln on process. after that they registared my number on behalf of other name Mr Rakesh kumar but my Name is Rajesh kumar as per my photo Id proof, I used to call many times to update correct name but they didn't. when I went to vodafone store to settle my bill they asked me to pay charge for as taxes 12.36% on plan INR-450/- but during changes process time I was confirmed from V.care inclusive taxes when I deny to pay that taxes, they deactivated my number services.

                  AFTER THAT I COME TO KNOW THAT VODAFONE COMPANY DONT RESPECT THE NAME OF COUSTOMER . AND THEY DONT UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF COUSTOMER TIME.
                  SHAME ON THAT COMPANY...

                        dear team as per your telecaller i activated 3g internet pack on my mobile for 2gb data on rs.425.i agree with your telecaller but i ask him whenever my 3g pack over than my plan convert into 2g . but today i have receive my mobile phone bill in this 1050 rs extra charges are attached for 3g uses .it is totaly chetting with me and i am not satisafied with your telecaller .now i request to you waive off this charges otherwise close my connection ...

                          Hi I was a loyal vodafone customer user until yesterday. I called vodafone cc to find out about international roaming since I was to travel to Maldives. No one seem to be educated after running pillar to post for 6 hours the vodafone store at JMD gurgaon finally made me recharge 2000 ruppess on my phone. Phone balance was 2152 since I had previous balance. Then they said 1684 is the international pack usage and was asked to type ACT IR2 and send 144. Eureka instant message I got on my activation. Boarded the flight and at 2330 called from Colombo home for a min. Post which came to Male and ever since all out going calls barred balance -44. I am a single lady traveller travelling alone so I have no idea what to do. Vodafone may not care but its a very very serious issue when a single lady traveller travelling for the first time out of India that too alone has to go through so much pain. I had to call family from this office locals. Can vodafone please rise and shine to the " Happy to help" currently I feel your motto should change to " Happy to mess". Vodafone no +91 [protected].

                          I travelled to HONG KONG on 11 March. I received a bill of Rs 4962 and they have activated the international roaming without my permission or confirmation. I still have 6 more days to go and I want to diactivate the international roaming immediately. I demand the cancellation of charges for my international roaming as you have done it without my confirmation.

                            MOST URGENT PLEASE: As indicated during the complaints vide Enquiry No.[protected] made at 9 a.m. on 29th July 2014 with the Customer Care representative Mr. Arman on Vodafone Customer Care No.[protected] and again Enquiry No.[protected] dated 4th July 2014 at 9.20 a.m., I have been getting the following SMSs every now & then from vAlert: Thanks for activating Comedy Full Movies at Rs.75/24 hours. Click herehttp://66.160.159.107:9090/cvp?id=36&subModel=2&src=D§VSV§VPFMCM7 to enjoy your videos. Browsing charges apply. I confirm that I have not activated any such Value Added Services on my data card connection [protected] and I am not interested in such VASs at all. During my telecon with your Customer Care representatives on 29th July and on 4th Aug 2014, I was clearly told no such VAS are being shown as active and outstanding amount is Zero Rupees. While taking the connection I was told, under Advance Rental Plan for Rs. 650/- for three months, on 15th May 2014, 3GB data with 3G speed is available per month and after crossing 3 GB, the speed will get reduced, but extra usage charges will be levied. This plan is valid till 10th August after the expiry of 3 months. Today I have paid Rs. 650/- the quarter starting from 11th August 2014 towards renewal of the existing plan. In view of the foregoing, I fail to understand why the present outstanding / demand of Rs. 1250/- has been raised. In no way I am required to pay this amount. I request you to reverse any outstanding and also arrange to stop flashing such false messages as above from vAlert.                             I have received excess bill amounting to Rs 2851 for my cell phone no [protected] from vodaphone and inspite of my best efforts have not been able to get the corrected bill. Vodaphone is harassing and intimidating me to pay the amount. I hereby make a complaint
                            Dear Sirs,

                            This is in the reference with my complain registered to my allotted personal assistant Mr. Ashok Choudhry (mobile no. [protected]) & complain registered on Vodafone 111.

                            As per VODAFONE RED plan scheme, I have registered my phone no.[protected] with RED 1599 plan.

                            I have shared above number with three of my family members mobile numbers [protected], [protected] & [protected] under RED 499 plan.

                            Now as per VODAFONE RED + 3 family member sharing plan, I must get benefit of total 9000 minutes of local calls + 6 1/2 GB of 3G internet & 3500 SMS with total billing of Rs. 3096/= + tax

                            Surprisingly I have received this months bill ( no.[protected] dtd. 07/12/2014), of Rs. 4354.22 with usage as below

                            LOCAL CALL 822, SMS 30, STD 5, ISD 00, ROAMING 30.5, DATA 1446, OTH 41.83.

                            Now as per VODAFONE RED & shared family member scheme, I must get bill of Rs.3096 + tax, where else I have received bill of Rs. 4354.22/=

                            Please note that total usage time of four family member within billing period is much lesser than offered plan under RED + FAMILY SHARING scheme.

                            I have called my allotted personal assistant but he was unable to explain about above.

                            I request you to please check above matter & revoke my bill to 3096 + tax or explain why I have received more amount bill.

                            I have a vodafone connection (postpaid) since January 2007.

                            I changed my plan to roaming 149 in the month of november 14, at that time the executive told me that the plan is per second pulse basis but at the time when i got the bill I found out the bill was based on per minute pulse plan.

                            I had lodged a complaint with the customer care executive ( [protected]) and the same was not addressed, subsequent to my non payment of the bill, the outgoing calls of my number were barred.

                            Since then i have called customer care executive many times but no response.

                            My number is not operational, even the incoming call facility is not active.

                            i wish to continue my association with vodafone, all i want is some settlement from the company's side.

                            This complaint is in regard to high bill received from vodafone for mobile number [protected], billing period 27.03.2015 to 26.04.2015. I have changed my handset to Blackberry during the billing period. I have received a bill of Rs. 5, 241/-, which includes mobile internet charges Rs. 3, 523.84 the bill is highly exorbitant and not justified at all. My average monthly bill is Rs. 1, 500 to Rs. 2, 000/-. This internet charge may be due to change of internet plan for Blackberry phone. But, I was not informed for such internet charges by any of your vodafone executives and I am not likely to pay this high bill amount.

                              This is to state that on 4th August 2104 at 14.55 a call came from the Vodaphone customer care [protected] at 14.58 with some "offer'. On declining - the caller positively used abusive word before disconnecting the line. This is not expected from a service provider of repute . The service provider need to ensure that the staff is polite and well spoken.

                                Hi,
                                I'm Sneha Setia from Delhi. I have a 3G plan of 650 where in I get 3Gb limit and thereafter I can use 2g for free. As I had exhausted my 3G plan I inquired about Add On plan. I sent an sms on Saturday, 2nd august 2014 for an Add on request for 1Gb, against which I received an sms from vodafone care that it cannot be processed as I have unlimited Internet pack. On Sunday, 3rd august 2014 I receive an sms at 6pm saying that an Add on pack has been activated on my phone which I have no clue about as I was clearly informed that this pack cannot be processed. I call costumer care executive on 4th august 2014 at 12:09 am clarifying the sms about activation of an add on pack. I was informed that this is an technical default no pack has been activated please ignore the same. On 4th august 2014 at 6am I again receive an sms stating activation of an add on pack of 1Gb. When I tried to reason with the customer care executive, I was told it was default from my end that refused to listen or clarify the doubts even after accepting the default on their part no solution was provided.
                                I have been troubled enough, I request you to please look into this matter.
                                Quick solution will be appreciated.

                                  Hi, I have been wrongly charged Rs49 as a download charge in my July'14 bill for a download from some website called as wapvilla. I have not used this website and untill now I was not even aware of the name or existence of any such website. I called Vodafone customer care but got an unsatisfactory response from the executive saying that you must have downloaded something from a chargeable site and I can google if I need more details. Requesting you to please rectify this error in my bill as early as possible.

                                    I am using Vodafone post paid connection since last 1 year but on 25 May bymistakley one data pack is activate on my mobile but they didnt provide me confirmation message I am worried about that so I called for to customer care they inform me about wrong packge is activated so they help me as they deactivate that plan and that time promised that they will not charge me for the same. But in May month bill they charged me for the same so I decided to change the network(Portabilty) and on 17 July they call me and ask for the resion then told about the same at that time they promise that they will rollback that amount and convence to use Vodafone service. I inform them let they will have to send me sttelment mail about wrong charge after that i will pay the bill they agreed . At the end they still not send me any mail and now they are saying that it will be not rollback and now they charged me huge amount. Regards Kalpesh Patil

                                      I am Radhika Chadha from Mumbai, Maharashtra.On Friday night, I had sent a message regarding activation of my 3G PLAN. I received a message saying that it has been activated.
                                      However, I was still getting pop-ups with my balance getting deducted.
                                      On Saturday, at around 5:42 PM I called up vf customer care.
                                      The person incharge (I suppose his name was Remo) told me that my balance would get refunded; and that some specialists or someone would call me within an hour.
                                      To add to my miseres, that person called up today morning (sunday 3rd morning, that is) and told me that no such thing will happen, and that "he is sorry".
                                      Now, first of all, I really wanted to post this on you guys' wall, but that would simply malign your name and reputation, which I sincerely would not wish for.
                                      Seondly, I donot expect THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR from Vodafone.
                                      Third, I want some amount of compensation to be done for the 120 rupees I lost out because of you guys' error, either by cash, or give me that amount of free internet units or talktime.
                                      Also, if you'll were not "sorry" when you'll wasted someone's balance, then i suppose you'll should probably do something when they complain too!!

                                      I hope you guys take this complaint seriously.

                                      P.S : Also, do let me know about the number portability plan. Seriously let down by vf. Did not expect such kind of atrocious behaviour from you guys.

                                        My number [protected] has been deactivated in lieu of non usage for more than 90 days on 27th July 14, balance at time of deactivation was 40 rs. As per TRAI guidelines it should not have been deactivated(link below for reference) instead it should have been moved to "Automatic Number Retention Scheme’. When i mailed vodafone customer care they asked me to go to the vodafone store and take same number as sim has been deactivated. To my surprise vodafone store is not ready to give same number in prepaid but are ready to give in postpaid( cheap tricks to earn money on postpaid connections). I am not in India and need this number as all banks linked to this number, hope this forum will help to resolve this issue as customer care(111) representative's are really dumb and does not know about any policies from TRAI. http://trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/WhatsNew/Documents/12-2013-Information%20Note%2...
