I have been an airtel mobile customer for more than a decade and have a fixed line also since half a decade. I was happy for the fact that during this long tenure i rarely had any service outage or any form of disruptions and was even consistently getting the promised broadband speed of 8mbps.
Just recently i had requested for the v-fiber 40mbps upgrade for my broadband line. After necessary checks to ensure the 40mbps feasibility and after a lot of dilly dallying and more than a months wait, i was finally given the line upgrade. Since then i having to say the quality of service provided by airtel has been a complete disappointment. I have had to call airtel customer almost every other day for reasons like either internet completely down or speed not even close to the promise of 40mbps.
Every time i call, i am being given only contradicting messages and in the past few weeks, there are close to 10 service technicians who have visited my home but not done anything.
I have registered the complaint the with airtel customer care, airtel nodal office and airtel appellate authority all in vain. The contact numbers provided for these special offices seem to be going into a standard ivr or they are constantly switched off.

Complaint marked as Resolved My phone line and internet has been dead for the last few days and there is no update or action from Airtel towards restoring the services.
Airtel seems to have drowned in the drains in terms of the quality of services. Customer care and the service technicians are equally pathetic. For them there is only one question always "Can I come home now" expectation being the customer at their mercy should be waiting at the home 24 x 7. Given a time commitment and agreed they will never be there is a different story.
I have been chasing a problem with airtel for more than a month by now for the service being very disruptive. Sufficient details have been provided yet they continue to toy around shameless and courteousness only to make continued false and fake promises. Even with the service being continuously disrupted over the month, the bill has been generated promptly and the ask for a no service credit has gone unheard and not responded so far. There was in fact a call from the customer care since the issue ticket could not be resolved for more than a month they would like to close the ticket which I am unsure what that means.
Since last Saturday 15, Dec 2018, situation has changed to worse to worst with both phone and internet completely dead and yet there is only the usual we are working on message as the response with a commitment of 72 hrs resolution. Multiples of 72 hrs has passed and yet the commitment of 72 hrs resolution continues with every mail response. I wonder if there would be any resolution at all.
Multiple emails to various airtel authorities has only met with a standard "we regret the inconvenience" message. no resolution so far, no proper updates so far, but bills are prompt.
Have been a loyal customer to airtel for more than 10 years, but certainly cannot continue to pay for the lack of service.
Immediate attention to the matter and resolution would be much appreciated.
