N the begginning itself i am very disappointed with service provided by airtel. As per your communication from service provider he said rs. 799+ service charges. (18 hour
Call+3gbinternet +600 msg)

My new airtel sim is activated on 9th july 2016 & they have collected rs. 300/- from me. And she said the amount will be deducted in my bill. But unfortunately!!!

Today morning i have received the bill of rs. 599.70/- bill dated 19th july 2016 bill no[protected] and mention dated is 17th june to 16th july. But my airtel sim activation date is

9th of july and that bill including 1) one time charges rs 300 what is??? And monthly charges rs 213.07 im using only 8 days

    I have been trying to get my sim changed from normal sized to nano since 20th june 2016. The same has not been completed citing reasons of mismatch o[censored]ploaded scanned id proofs. I am staying in pune and the number belongs to my brother mr. Pankaj manot. There is continued re-assurance of the same being taken care of within 24 hrs to no result. The sim was taken in 2006 under my brothers office address. There are no id proofs available to office address. The proofs submitted against the same are: votersid, pan card, sbi bank passbook, trade licence (Under mr. Pankaj manot at the said location)

      My mobile number is [protected]. There is company name constrans containers which are calling me every 10-15 days from different numbers. I have requested them not to call several times but they just keep disturbing me. I had complained on 1909 few times already. And airtel have called and assured me that i will not receive any more these calls. I am getting calls from[protected] and[protected]. Last 2 times registered complain with airtel reference number is : 70290309 dt 11 july 2016 and 70487503 dt 23 july 2016. Please help me get rid of them.

        Yesterday I recharge my mobile Rs. 185 3G rent pack through net banking for Airtel website. Money deduct from my Canara Bank account but recharge not done. and money not back to my account.

        Then i again recharge from retail shop.

        Take necessary step for return my money in my account.

            Yesterday (22 jul 2016) mr. Sahil sharma, from the airtel resolutions desk called to fix a time for airtel to visit my home to replace the iptv with the dth box. We decided that the team would visit my house at 6 pm in the evening. He assured and even promised that they would arrive on time and airtel would keep its word. He even said that this was absolutely final. I rushed home from work and then waited and waited in vain. No one visited my house. No one had called till now.

            I am absolutely at my wits end!!! Please suggest where should i complain next???

            Subject: iptv conversion to hd tv - no response from airtel for 11 days

            It¿s been 11 days since i raised a request and no action has been taken so far!!!

            Dear customer service,

            I received several mails telling me to contact airtel before 31 jul 2016 to change my iptv connection to an hd tv.

            I called airtel on 121 on 8th jul 2016 to change my iptv connection to hd tv and was told that someone would contact me within 24 hours discuss the new rates and fix a time to visit my residence to fix the new connection. No one called me.

            I called again on 15th jul 2016 and repeated my request and was told, once again, that someone would contact me within 24 hours and discuss this. I was quite angry because no one had contacted me for a whole week and demanded to talk to a supervisor. Finally a supervisor spoke to me and apologized and assured me that this time my request would be attended to within 24 hours. He was very confident about my concerns not being ignored.

            Five days have passed and airtel has not called me!!!

            What am i supposed to do now?? Should i write to mr. Sunil mittal??

              Hi airtel team,

              I have paid rs 1000 for getting of new broadband connection.. After one week, i got message your area is not feasable for broadband connection. I have applied for refund of amount through onlinerefund airtel website.. Till now i did not get any reaponse from any one. This is the worst response i have nt seen till now. Earlier, i had opinion on aitel about their customer service. I am hoping that you will help to me on the refund.

                1. rs 178/- for 1g, 2g data for 28 days which recharged through free charge on 16/7/16 for mobile number [protected]. (operator id[protected]; order id: fcva[protected])
                2. from the day i have recharged neither airtel nor free charge doesn't taken any responsibility to render the purpose of recharge for the above number.
                3. airtel and freecharge always confusing that they doesn't have any responsibility, also surprisingly airtel says that recharge done but free charge is to execute benefits.
                4. free charge says that since amount transferred to airtel and being operator, so airtel has to execute the benefit.
                5. similar transactions were done earlier as per attached copy, but such controversies were never repeated by free charge except airtel.
                6. airtel confusing and making gambling business repeatedly and free charge also neither insisting nor initiating to close this issue.
                Conclusion from above, this is my final warning for both of you that rs 10, 000, 00/- (10 lacs) demanding for compensation through consumer forum due to:

                1. lot of confusion and misguiding from last 4 days
                2. caused personal problems in between my wife and me.
                3. loss in home business due to net off.
                4. if am unable to attend my work, peacefully since the issue unsettled.
                5. if am unable to recharge another one since no settlement as of 19/7/16
                6. many calls received from airtel and confirmed that rs 178/- received, recharged but for benefit they don't know!!??
                This is my mail communication with both airtel and free charge, as required for consumer forum.

I met with an accident and didn't use the sim and services from may 24th and i also got a mail of service deactivation on on june 25th, i checked with the customer care and came to know that the billing cycle was from june 26th to july 25th.                         I opted for 1gb 3g recharge for 2 days validity on 14 june, 2016. But in the sms i received it is written benefits local calls at 30p/min for 28 days. I want the benefits i opted for. The amount rs. 93 got deducted but service not received.

                        I used paytm to recharge, but the customer care says services are provided by airtel so only they can give you the support in this.

                        Kindly refund my money, or provide service.

                            This is to bring to your notice that i have been using an airtel broadband with the following credentials:

                            I was on a 8mbps/ 60 gb plan with a popup of rs. 99/- entitling me for unlimited local calls.

                            Few months back i got a call from airtel for a trial upgrade to a high speed plan which also necessitated a modem change. Even after the upgrade i was not getting a speed more than 8.5 - max 9 mbps. I pointed this out to the service executive who conveyed to me that the connection speed will optimise over a period of couple of days, which never happened!

                            Almost close to a month to this i got a call from airtel stating that if i want to retain the so called ‘high sped’ connection i will need to now pay more for the upgraded plan. Since i didn’t see any sense in upgrading as i was almost getting an 8-9mbps, i didn’t go for the upgrade.

                            After 3-4 days i discovered that my internet connection is not working. When i complained to airtel, i was told that since my hardware and some connection settings was changed to support the so called ‘hi-speed’ connection now it need to be rolled back. It was a very callous and careless attitude for not informing the customer about an abrupt disconnection. I should have been seamlessly rolled over to the previous plan, specially when i stated in advance that i’m not keen to upgrade.

                            So i requested to be rolled back to my original plan (8 mbps/ 60 gb with rs. 99/- topup, a total of about rs. 1850/- per month). Around the same time i went on airtel website to see various plans and i was surprised that this plan no where featured instead for about the same amount there was this plan where i could enjoy 16 mbps speed, 80 gb of data and free local as well as std calls!!!

                            So i realised that i have been taken for a royal ride by airtel for many months!!

                            Anyways, i called airtel and requested them to put me on this plan.

                            They did upgrade but on a super high end plan - airtel-ul-bolt 7199 plan, something i never asked for!!!

                            I complained again. And again. And again!!!

                            Ever since my internet connection is not working. I have been tirelessly following up with airtel. Many various complaints. Wrote few mails, asked airtel executives to escalate, but to no avail. Complaints have been closed without any resolve!!

                            All this has been taken so casually!!

                            Service engineers will come casually towards the close of the day, spend about an hour and go back without any resolve. My daughter had to shuttle between her friend's place to submit her daily school assignments, besides impacting my work!!

                            I’m pained, harassed and made to suffer by airtel by no end!!

                                  I am writing this here after highest level of escalation i.e. the Airtel appellate team, multiple conversations with the supervisors and customer care as Ive not been getting an explanation for excessive charges on the bill of the number [protected] for the billing duration of 5th May 2016 to 4th June 2016.This number has been with us for more than 10 years now.

                                  We noticed excessive billing on the 'my airtel' application (image 1 is a screenshot taken on 9th of May) and had been following up with the customer care to understand why the charges are so high despite following all instructions given by the customer care.

                                  The following will give you a chronological order of events that unfolded:

                                  23rd and 24th April - I have a conversation with customer care to activate necessary things for international roaming.

                                  26th April 2016 - lands in the United States and switches off mobile internet.

                                  6th May 2016 - I notice that the Amount on the myairtel app for [protected] was abnormally high. I notice something is wrong and remove the SIM card while i attempt to connect with your customer care through my son in India.

                                  9th May 2016 - We realize that its going way overboard, the app says I have a unbilled usage of Rs 4457 for usage in a duration of 2 days! That too when mobile internet was switched off! I took a screenshot of this and is attached in the email.

                                  10th May 2016 - I call customer care from the number [protected] to figure out what exactly were the charges levied for. The person in customer care says he cannot check as he doesnt have access to do so and also mentions that the billing is abnormally high. Asks me to check once the billing cycle is done.

                                  14th May 2016 - I check the 'my airtel' app again and the unbilled amount gets stuck at Rs 5535.

                                  6th June 2016 - when i checked the app again, the bill got generated and says Rs 5244. I call customer care to be informed that the bill will take 4 days to generate and details of transaction will be available only after these 4 days. At the same time I get the Rs 599 plan activated for international roaming.

                                  8th June 2016 - unbilled usage says Rs 5535 for the duration of 5th June to 7th June 2016 when SIM card isnt in the phone! I was appalled! have taken a screenshot - attached as image 2.

                                  10th June 2016 - Call customer care again trying to understand whether the bill had been generated. Get an answer that it has not been generated yet. Ask to connect call to supervisor.


                                  13th June 2016 - after the bill has been generated, I realize we had been charged for Internet by AT&T. All the while when mobile internet was switched off!

                                  Ever since then, we had been trying to connect with the customer care and supervisors, but the call to the supervisor never connects despite being on hold for over ten minutes. We made multiple calls from both two numbers to connect to the supervisor but to no avail. I resort to asking the customer care to arrange for a call back but the calls never come to the number requested to call to!

                                  We called again on 20th July and waited until we could connect to a supervisor. He says he cannot help me beyond a point and asked me to connect with the appellate group, which is supposed to be the highest level of escalation.

                                  Appellate team is no more helpful than the lower level in giving an explanation. They keep repeating that the bill charges are correct and their billing system is never wrong! Ask about the inconsistencies in billing for the month of June (Attached in the screenshot) they explain that the unbilled amount is charged without applying offers! I mean, we get unbilled usage when the SIM card was not even in the mobile phone! No proof given as to what ive used mobile internet for despite it being switched off or where has the traffic gone to.

                                  The other issue is - Threat to disable service incase we dont pay the bill within a stipulated time frame despite having delay on their end to resolve the issue and not heeding to requests to extend the date of deactivation to ensure the issue is resolved before bill payment.

                                  Previous to this issue, I have invested a lot of time and energy in getting bills sorted for the number since we always got Rs 750 levied extra for a whole year! Imagine spending 1 hour over phone with their customer care every month and getting a promise that the problem will not occur again and doing that again next month because the problem was not solved - for an entire year!

                                  The abnormal levying of mobile internet charges even after the mobile internet has been turned off is a huge let down and had forced us to remove the Sim card when in the United States. Connections from work and other members of family were severed, including when father met with a major accident and broke 15 ribs. What would have happened had i ignored the high billing charges in the beginning of May in the 'myairtel' app and we get a bill of Rs 30, 000 for usage we never did? The lack of explanation is even more appalling and is subject to questioning the reliability and integrity of airtel service.

                                  I demand that the charges levied on mobile internet be removed from the bill and refunded.

                                    I have three mobile no and one land line/broadband connection from airtel.
                                    I have standing instruction for auto debit on my credit card for all the four connection. The credit card bank issued me a new credit card with new expiry date with same credit card number on expiry of old credit credit card. I informed airtel about new expiry date through sms in the format suggested by airtel. The auto debit is working for two mobile and landline/broadband number.

                                    But one one mobile number ([protected]) i am getting voice alert that i am having outstanding balance and payment has to be made immediately. On contacting airtel customer service, they informed me that the mode of payment for the said number is "cheque mode". I have never advised airtel for cheque mode payment and i do not know how they changed to cheque made. The customer service executive asked me to re-register for auto debit online. When i did this i am getting error message "already registered for auto debit". The airtel service executive requested me to send the screen shot of the error message to aitel for resolving this issue. They said the matter will be resolved in 72 hours.
