In the month of Jan'15, I have recharged my wife phone no-[protected] ( Which I had kept for emergency use-during my office hrs) . After recharging, few days latter hello tunes service activated and rs 200.00 deducted from balance. Which was shocking to me as my entire budget was disturbed. Today I approached for deactivation of service with customer care no 121 - Junior officer talked me, and I was not agree for stopping the hello tune service without reversal amount and sr, after that he has transferred the call to Sr.officer after waiting of hold calls ~10 minutes. I talked in similar manner that hello tune to be de activated with reversal of amount. For reversal of amount Sr.officer was not agreed. But I too also not agreed that without reversal of amount service should not stop. I have requested him stop the service with immediate effect along with amount reversal on pro-rata basis. But again I got surprised that hello tunes de-activated without reversal of amount. This is totally matter of doing the business in un-ethical way. Also it is the breach of faith with the customer.
My request is this such type of business enhancement practice's should not take on place. The business should have transparency in the system. Request you to look in to the matter.

Till now problem not resolved.
Not yet amount reversed.

    I bought a post paid connection Airtel Mobile connection from the Indiranagar Airtel Store in Bangalore on 14th Feb, 2015. The sales person "Sajid" promised the connection to be activated by 7 PM the same day. The connection still wasn't activated by 11 AM on 15th Feb, 2015. When I went to the store again another member of the staff "Nagaraj" told me the connection will be activated by 2 PM or else he will personally call me up to sort the issue. Till 3:30 PM neither the connection get activated nor Nagaraj called. When I went to the store at around 4 PM and I was promomised that connection will be activated by before 12 PM on 16th Feb, 2015 and if not then I can take my money back. When I asked for the same in writing Nagaraj declined the same, declined to share the contact number of the store manager, declined to share the mail to their customer care and laughed on my face when I asked when asked for customer complaint head's number. If Airtel does not wish to add new retail customer's they are entitled to do so but do not take their money and then be rude to the customers.

      My name is BINOJ BABU and my mobile number is [protected] and when I called to customer care on 10th February, Tuesday @ around 8:30 for knowing the details about balance deduction. I just called to 198 and that lady who pick the call transferred to senior level escalator which she told me. The girl who spoke to me in a rude behaviour and she told me that she doesn't care weather any customers change their connection from Airtel to any other service provider. and she told me that her name is Neethu and spoke to me like we say 'get lost'. Is this the way you are providing the service to customer care? she didn't even send me the reference number of that particular call. I want to know whether you gave punishment to that lady or not.. If i couldn't know further details about necessary action on my complaint i'll move on to consumer court against that lady and Airtel. And me and my friends will change from Airtel to idea. Thank you.

          Today I received a call on my registered mob no. from mobile no.[protected] (Delhi Circle) she said this call from CITI Bank Credit Card Verification Dept. for your card verification she told me my 16 digit CITI card no. [protected] and ask for validity and CVV. I give those info to her after that she said you will get verification OTP and ask me to share with her and I did that after that I found amount Rs.4970 has been debited from my credit card by AIRTEL BILLDESK. Call timing on 14th Feb 2015 afternoon 5.10 PM. From Internet I came to know that this a very common fraud practice of Airtel Money/Billdesk transactions. So I request you to revert the transaction and take necessary action immediately. You may also suggest me to means for reverting the transaction immediately.

          Yes this is fraud !!! DO not share any information wrt CC or any card. Even I had received a call from same number. She said she is from SBI and asking for CC details.

          Please read carefully of Mr. Joydeep query. He had not paid that amount. Someone (cheater) paid that amount on Airtel Bill Desk from his credit card. So how can he know the Airtel Account Number.

              Hi sir I took a new sim in chennai. Its not activated. I went to retailer and given other documents. Even though its not activated. Now i again went and ask the retailer. He is saying we can't do anything right now. I paid 160 rs in advance. My airtel prepaid number is [protected]. Noiw what to do. contact whom. I am very interest on that sim.

                Sir even though I have not subscribed sports pack, Rs 10 has been deducted from my account balance at 11:45 am on 14/02/15 vide Txn ID N[protected]. To my querry Airtel customer care representatives did not give any suitable reply and blaming me for subscribing sports pack.I have not subscribed it & Airtel has deducted it on its own, kindly intervene to settle .                   The high speed data transfer rate mentioned are not met, or better said as never met. Airtel broadband speed test shows that photo sharing is faster with upgraded speed plans. But upgrading speed didn't affect the upload transfers at all and the download speed is not consistent either. When questioned, their response was that the issue was due to my system. But my system with the same configuration proves stronger in uploading on other networks. When this was mentioned, the reply was that they do not provide upload speeds, which clearly contradicts their marketing and advertisements. Moreover the broadband service gets shut down every month for a few days and the charges charged never changing. Repeatedly asking about this issue was ignored by the customer care and was not returned properly. Such cheap scamming was not expected from a firm as big as airtel is and i am greatly disappointed and ashamed of being an airtel customer.

                    Hi, I have paid 2050 through online for new Airtel DTH connection on 05-Feb-2015. Later in the website showed that transaction not been processed. I called the customer care they said no CUSTOMER ID has been generated so you will get refund in 7 working days. so i decided not to go for Airtel connection due to POOR response. i applied for tata sky and they have installed. I have sent so many mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com till now no proper response. Today @4pm i got the message from airtel saying that thanks for choosing airtel and some CUSTOMER ID has been generated. Then i called customer care and said "please refund the money as you promised" i already got the new connection. they said they will transfer the call to senior officer. but as usual the line got cut. I am keep on calling to[protected] all the time from the mobile number [protected] atleast they will take 3 mins to pick the call and finally without response they will cut the call. approx 8 mins per call. almost i have called 25 times during this week. but still no response. please consider my complaint and respond. 2050 rs is not a simple amount for me. i want only refund of money. my balance is low to call them again.

                      I am Saptaparni Mandal. My current contact no-[protected].I am registered for another prepaid no-[protected].On 13.02.2015, I went into the airtel store for changing my normal sim size into nano sim(sim phone no-[protected]). I was misguided and and informed that i have to convert from prepaid to post paid and paid an extra amount of Rs.300+ Rs.50. On 14/02/2015 I called up another airtel store in Kolkata and they informed me that there is no such mandatory rule. I have been misleaded and fooled and my number hasn't been activated yet even after i was told it would be activated within 5 hours.I called up the next day and I was told it would be done within 3 days. What sort of employees do airtel hire misleading their customers? I demand an immediate reply and my sim be converted into prepaid.

                        I am a professor and am retired. That makes me a senior citizen. Yesterday I received a phone call at about 2.10 P.M. one mr.Anil sharma started yelling at me . He alleged that there is a courtcase filed by Bharati Airtel against me in Delhi, He quoted some sections. I just did not comprehend what was he trying to convey. When I asked him to clarify he became down right rude saying that I was fooling him.He was obnoxious. He came down to the level of threatening me.Sir, I was totally flabber ghasted. As the person was very abusive I was forced to disconnect the line. After some time I composed myself and attended to my immediate priority o[censored]ndergoing my medical investigation. Later on, pondering over the telephone call I remembered that he had said something about AIRTEL.So I went to the outlet of AIRTEL which is nearby.Few months ago I had purchased Postpaid AIRTEL dongle. Unfortunately It was not working . There was no network . They sent a technician who informed that the problem can not be sorted. Hence I deactivated the services. I would like to point out that from the day I purchased the dongle to the day of deactivation I did not use the said service.I enquired at the outlet whether there was some connection between the telephone call and the purchase. The person across the counter Mr.Nirmal Shah checked my detail and informed that I had a due of Rs.505 to the company. I immediately paid even though I had not availed any services of the company.Mr.Nirmal Shah was considerate enough to apologize for the inconvinience caused to me. He said it was the company policy to call up and recover dues.I am very surprised. I Can not understand how a company can employ such abusive methods for recovering dues.I am a very respectable citizen of this country. In my whole life time I have never defaulted any of my payments. I file my income tax returns diligently.I am perplexed that why would you employ such a cheap, demeaning tactics for recovering a due amount. You could have sent a hard copy of bill. Your company representative could have called up and informed that a payment is due.I could have been informed in writing that there is a due payment. if not paid i will incur penalty . Instead mr.Anil Sharma has gone to the extent of calling me a fraud and has threatened me with alleged courtcase. I do not accept that your company can not treat its customers so ungracefully. You have insulted my whole existence, and caused severe mental stress.Why did you do it. I can sympathise with you that there may be customers with heavy bills which are overdue. But I can not comprehend why I have been treated like a low class criminal.Mr.Anil Sharma accused me of things of which I can not even conceive in my worst dreams. It appears your company paints everybody with the same brush. You have no derstanding of distinguishing the severity of default payment. I would point out to you that I paid Rs.2900 for the dongle which I could not use due to some technical issues of your network. I did not lodge a court case against you for the said loss to me.The final question remains the same. Why was I treated so badly. I have lived a very dignified as a professor in a college. I have dealt with defaulters in the college. It was never necessary to reduce to cheap levels to handle the defaulters.Sir, I need an explanation for the way I was harassed by somebody representing you.I want you to visualise if your own family members were subjected to such harassment.You might become more and more successful in your enterprise but as far as human relation is concerned you have failed.Atleast for me.                           Services for my airtel number [protected] are repeatedly barred stating i have crossed the credit limit. The unbilled charges comprise of data usage as per airtel. My airtel plan has 240 MB data and i have used only 150 MB. Airtel does not know the reason but my services are barred. My alternate number is [protected]

                            Airtel has conducted fraud of Rs 10000 by activating International roaming minutes without my consent. Interaction ID - [protected] Reference ID[protected] Since the credit limit of bill has exceeded due to their misconduct, to add to the problem they have deactivated all facilities - outgoing/internet etc on my SIM. I have called them 4 times since yesterday, everytime they say that they will call back. Just once I received call from them that too for 3 seconds and they had cut the phone immediately. Now they are saying that they have called back and you did not pick up. Airtel, show some courtesy and professionalism- 10, 000 Rs fraud in a month is huge. Over that you are pestering me by blocking services. I am going to change mobile service provider now.

                              Hello, I have a 3G Data Card Wifi which I purchased from Airtel gallery and the number is [protected]. I lost the data card early in November and had given a call to Airtel to disconnect it immediately and the process of getting a new one as they said the card was insured. Since November to December they were charging me rental and late payment charges inspite of knowing i did not have the date card and even since I made a call to them to discontinue it, they still charged me rental even when i did not have a sim nor data card. Does such 1000 rs. per month from a lakh or so people help fund Mr> Sunil Bharti Mittals busniess or personal expenses ? Why cheat your customer ? No one has ever contacted me to even say the process of getting a new sim or data card but only send emails for service disconnection, payment due reminder etc etc etc and i guess are still charging me rental on it. I had spoken to navya on 14/12/2014 and got a complaint on this registered # 59367211 which i was expecting to get a feedback since the previous call made in November to cancel the request was not even done properly.                               I suggest you look into this matter seriously before I also take legal aciton on this as your company only seems to be cheating and doing fraud with customers.

                                I have airtel number [protected] and was using it fine untill I got a call from the Airtel promotions team in November 2014 and I requeted them to change my rental plan to Rs. 99 minimum rental plan as I was not making outgoing on internet henceforth.

                                I was expecting my rental to change but found out in my bill that it was not done and then later during the month of December I called up complaints team and registered a complaint for it and also wanted them to look into the call and also change my rental plan again.

                                The call was made to 198 on 14/12/2014 and I also wrote an email communication from my email id [protected]@hotmail.com to [protected]@in.airtel.com as per my conversation and wrote an appreciation mail for Vishal the person from airtel who handled my call thinking that he would take action on it or change my rental to 99 atleast immediately then.

                                Now aritel has diconnected my outgoing and incoming, and continued to charge rental of Rs. 399 and also late payment penalty and are tortuing me to pay the entire amount. I want to use this number and would like to pay according to the 99 rental which i have spoken about twice and written an email also.

                                Otherwise this is not the 1st time aritel has cheated me but this time I would rather go to consumer court and also bring this to the media on how Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal has started the cheating business to get funds for his daily expenses.

                                what is the status on my complaint

                                The dongle issue is such that I have used for only upto October and Bill was dispatached and when i lost my wifi 3G data card in NOvember i immediately gave a call for it but Airtel has kept billing me and now their collections call me using harsh language and say you have to pay 3600 Rs. as you have used the number, No one ever called from airtel that you have lost the data card and sim card, sir would you like a new one or given any solution, they all say your data card is insured etc etc while selling and now once sold, your only meant to be harrased by the company.

                                plz reply dear airtel customer care as I am waiting for a response rather than just making calls from your collections who give me new story everytime and say i promised to pay or I have already paid,

                                Also regarding the [protected] number, they after taking multiple requests to change the rental plans, do not accept it but give me new rental policy to get more money from me and give excuses that the old Rs. 99 rental policy is discontinued etc etc etc etc.

                                Plz reply on this as I have given multiple emails and also complaint to customer care twice.

                                  I have an airtel prepaid sim card with the number [protected]. I bought this sim card at Airtel office, Kalidasa road, Mysore. I requested for the activation of 3g on this number on 3rd/4th Feb 2015. However to this day, it has not been activated. Each time I visit the office and/or talk to the customer care executives, I have been given a lame reason and every effort of mine has turned futile. Once, even the airtel employee blindly ignored me when I was talking to him and continued scanning through his images on his phone. The customer care is pathetic and drove me to a point where I bought a vodafone connection and everything worked out of the box. Please kindly help me with this regard as I have recharged my sim card with money and don't want to lose it as I am pretty sure after that money is emptied, I will surely switch to vodafone.

                                  I was contacted by an Airtel Representative on 16th Feb to confirm my complaint. On 17th, I got a call from a local Airtel representative informing me that they had activated 3g on their end and It was some problem in my Handset and I should restart my phone (as if I hadn't tried) The representative was in no positin to hear me out.

                                  Meanwhile at the local airtel store, I was told that my sim might be faulty and I needed a new sim. So, I agreed to that and bought a new sim card. After activation of the new sim card, the problem still persisted! A waste of Rs 50/-

                                  Furthermore, I was shocked to see that all my 2G data usage was charged to my 3G account.

                                  PS: I am using the same handset with a vodafone sim and 3G to update my complaint!

                                    I already raised a complaint about Airtel employees
                                    leaked/sells personal details to people they know... I had word with
                                    Airtel Pune and a lady spoke to me and told me it cannot be done by
                                    any employee.I too believed and i never bothered...Again its happening
                                    a person who shows my msgs and call history of mine a 3rd time that
                                    too from SOLAPUR CITY AIRTELl...That lady came and told me that she is
                                    having my all my message details and call history in her hand...saying
                                    that i have all your details ie. i got message, what time i replied
                                    how many messages i sent, how many message i got from which no, how
                                    many hours i spoke to particular no.etc... Note: she said she has a
                                    very good TOP contacts in Airtel as she already worked there

                                    One more note: Already Airtel person spoke your supervisor and
                                    he told that is not possible and they are SAFEGUARDING their
                                    employees...BY GIVING ME NO OF SOME EXECUTIVE WHICH AGAIN HAS NOT ANY
                                    EXTRA OPTION FOR DIFFRENT COMPLAINT WHICH LEADS TO DISCONNECTING THE
                                    CALL.

                                    1. I spoke to an Airtel Ex-employee and asked about it he said it can
                                    be easily done and they can see all details that what time what
                                    message sent, received, called, received call, what no.etc...
                                    2.He also told me that even they can see and read all messages what
                                    and all i received and i sent to whom and what by just raising a mail
                                    that the higher heads telling that customer is fighting for message
                                    charges etc...
                                    3.He is clear that if you complained they have to find who logged in
                                    to get my details but simply Airtel is avoiding and protecting their
                                    employees...
                                    4.Its conform that Airtel customer care sold my details unofficial and
                                    the ex-employee told me to get that person and give complaint Airtel
                                    can find out easily that who logged in to get my details...
                                    5.He also told me to raise complaint to DOT...


                                    I WANT HELP TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AS THIS IS VERY HIGHLY
                                    UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF COMPANY WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTED BY AIRTEL
                                    GROUP.

                                      Why do I receive a NO Service line on my screen-top? I'm afraid it has been happening much too often to my comfort. I've always trusted Airtel to be the country's No.1 mobile service.

                                      Let me explain the problem. All of a sudden, an advisory appears on the screen, with the caption 'Network Lost.' The message is rather curt: "Your selected mobile network is no longer available. You can choose a different network in Settings."

                                      Am I being forced out of the network of my choice? Airtel should explain.

                                      Is it too much to expect that the consumer gets the normal service without such frequent interruptions in service.
