Airtel is not accepting my MNP application
I am using airtel no [protected] (Mumbai) for the last 2 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from airtel to IDEA.
And i went to IDEA show room and i submit my id proof and porting charges.
I have submitted my documents on 3rd Feb 2011. Still it has not portout. About this i have spoken to customer care of airtel but they are simply delaying my complaint saying somany lies. Actually MNP is a customer right. but here airtel is denying that right for me.

I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation.

I contacted my airtel customer care about this issue no one has respondig rather they were talking rudely. Please. Help me sir My contact number is [protected]

AirTel — No Response for MNP

Hi,
I have applied for MNP from Tata Docomo to Airtel for Prepaid connection on 3rd of August. I have been trying to call their helpdesk for resolution but they till date have failed to acknowledge and resolve it. I have also sent email to [protected]@in.airtel.com from my personal email id devraj.[protected]@gmail.com but received no response.
They also have a misguiding email by [protected]@in.airtel.com which auto generates a reply email with same subject every time but different signature. It's utter disgusting to receive such poor response from a big company.
May I request your intervention so that my issue can be highlighted to the concerned person for a speedy resolution?

Instead of sorting my issue, Airtel rep. asking me to repeat the whole process. Anyways will do and see the outcome.
This problem is not solved rather I have been told to re-submit the documents again and generate UPN no. again.

I am yet re-submit the documents while I will do soon but at my convenience. The information posted by AIRTEL in this forum is totally baseless and misleading.

Today submitted fresh document at AIRTEL (customer relationship center, Begumpeth, Secundrabad). Now the waiting game starts. Keeping my finger crossed.

Great Service Indeed. The porting has been done 36 hours ago and now I am not able to receive or send any calls from this no. When contacted the help desk guys say that there is a technical problem and no resolution time. What should I do...

      I am anuradha writing to you , with such a frustration which can nver be able to be expressed. I have taken an Airtel Datacard with the no :[protected] and account no: [protected] and writing to yo to raise a complaint against the executives and the service of the customer care too.

      This is for your kind information that i have been using airtel datacard for my official purpose. I have been paying my bills on time every month and have never faced any issues with the bill payment nor the internet service. But, there was only one month where i couldnt pay my bill on time and also on the deadline due to my busy travelling schedule. I was travelling a lot of places and i couldnt pay it on time But then i have informed my brother to pay the bill and he had made a payment of 999 from his card from Canada . as the services were de-activated by the time i payed the bill i waited for 24 hours and called up the customer care to active it But i was told that the bill is not payed at all and moreover have some outstanding amount to be payed which i seriously deny. There might be late payment charges but when i have already payed the bill why would they be an outstandng amount??

      As the net service is very important to me , i had again made the payment through my office accountant . He had paid an amount of Rs.999 . But then i still didnt get my internet access and i had to wait for more than a week. I persistently called the customer call to raise a complaint. they give different no and just say tht it is not their problem it is the device problem and have to cal the micromax service guys to rectify it. I have tried almost 10-12 nos of airtel and also micromax service centres but havent got any response from any one of them. Neither the Airtel customer care took the responsibility to activate my services. They sais that there is a problem with the device itself N we have even not got any response from the micromax too.. Wat would any one do when there is such a situation that u pay double the bill amount and then there is no internet and people blame each other for the problem??? Is this the professional way? Is this the way customer should waste their valuable time and also money?

      Due to these reasons my accountant had given a service closing letter in Airtel Office Kukapally and informed them thaty we are not going to continue with their services. Inspite of that evey month the bill is generated and sent to me. Is there any logic that Internet is blocked and bill gets generated???? When the device itself is not working then how come you guys generate the bill though persistent comlaints were given?

      One more complaint which i would like to add is. M a gal and i stay alone in my house. The bill collection people come and speak rash and shout and sometime talk very filthy and abusive language. They have spoken to me in such a way that no girl could ever bare it. Threatning me thretning my family,my friends, threatning for money wat is all this??? Do u ever kwn wat is happening on the field?? There was on airtel bill collection guy who directly entered into my room ans started talking filthy WHos going to save me if something goes wrong????? Are you not responsible for all these?

      I feel so embarresed when ever i see your guys they way they talked they way they behaved is just un explainable.

      without knowing all this how could you ever threaten my family that all the credit cards debit cards and telephone operating services would be given a black mark against al o[censored]s? We r the people who give great respect to money and would never miss use it. Its not the question of not paying the bills its the question of the services rendered by the company . Who wil not pay the bills on time wen the services are good???

      Pls think about it and help me from your service guys.I have got so much of threatning and abusing that i am serisouly scared to stay in hyderabad. I have nvr faced such a prb with anyone. am new to hyd and i am now feeling bad that people here dis-respect gals and customers so badly and mis-behave!!!

      If i still get any threatning and any notice or bills i am for sure going to give a complaint in the police against your service guys for mis-using abusing and threatning me.

      Pls treat this as a alarm for you and try to give a good service. We are not cheap people to deal with all this.

      R com Travelling Data Card — Data card not activated

      Dear sir
      I, Surjeet Katoch have purchased a Reliance Data Card for internet service through yr. Cannought Place Delhi office. Miss Neha has called us from no.91-[protected] and sent a executive named as Neeraj (M.No.[protected]). He delevired data card on our address and collected necessary documents for its activation.
      After that he assured us that card will actvate in1-2 days and he himself will come for activation. Initially when we called him after 2-3 days, he was telling us that he will activate data card in 1-2 days. But now he is refusing to pick our calls . He has taken a money of Rs. 2650/- as cash and given a bill. Your CP office is also not replying satisfactorily. Plz. look into the matter and make our Data card activated immediately.

          I have an airtel prepaid connection with mobile no -[protected]. I did an ERecharge for Rs345/- on 09/02/2011 at08:17 pm, from an airtel outlet at nanganallur.Immediately RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL message with TRANS ID [protected] came from airtel centre.After some time (15 minutes later).when Ichecked the balance this amount was not added to my balance. Immediately I contacted the airtel agent who told me to contact the customer care executive. So for 3 times I have contacted him but nosatisfactory reply has been given to me.On 16/02/11 ,I PERSONALLY went to the customer care centre at Chromepet &explained my problem,they were not at all helpful and they were simply passing the bugs.
          I there fore request you to kindly help me to resolve this problem.

          Airtel — recharge not added in balance

          I am a airtel customer from maharastra, my mobile No. is [protected] . RECENTLY I recharged Rs 175 /- on 12/03 & again Rs 175/ on 13/03/09, I recieved a message both times that recharge successful & talktime is Rs 156/- . But the amount is not added in my balance . I have complained a no. of times on [protected], every time a new person attends the call & and I tried explaining him my problem.
          they have given me reference no. for my complaint as [protected]
          request you to kindly look into the matter and credit the amount to my balance

            i am a retailer of airtel mobile services under distributor A - 1 communication near H.M.V. college jalandhar
            the main issue is that the distributor forced me and also the other retailers for buying gprs pack of rs. 98 or other non selling coupons with every transaction of lapu balance otherwice no lapu balance issued to me or also other retailers. so we all are facing a very big problem regards this from many months. so please help me

              I receieved a call from +92. It came to my knowledge that call is from pakistan. Although i missed the call, but i am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.
              Hi,

              Today morning i received a missed call from ISD no[protected] at 08:44 AM. This ISD code is from Pakistan. This is a missed call but i don't know anyone from pakistan . So how they got my Contact no . Is airtel services is not safe .
              Please resolve this issue as soon as possible, so that I would not get this type of call again.

                I had broadband connection with this number [protected]. as i shifted to Noida so i want to cancel broadband connection.
                1)On 15/01/2011- , I requested to cancel the service. You can find the request
                number in that date w.r.to my number. (at that time you give[protected] as service request number and i talked to your service team that i am shifting so i want to cancel.)

                2)On 18/01/2011, again I requested that why it has not been cancelled? On that day I have already paid/cleared the dues(Rs140) upto 15th jan2011.(Rs140 for 8 days, 8th jan-15th jan2011, and in that day request no was[protected]

                3)After that on 28th jan2011 and on 2nd Feb2011, I have also mentioned that as I have cleared all the dues till 15th Jan. so why it has not been cancelled?

                4)Now I find the extra bill amount of Rs215 for the month of Jan2011, I have
                not used your service but wrongfully you are sending the bill.
                5) you can find there is no usages after 15th jan2011, as i left kolkata. and how you are sending bill of Rs215 .

                Today, 17/02/11, a customer care people called me that it is becos service is continuing till 31st jan 2011. but why?
                I have mailed to nodal.[protected]@airtel.in and called that number, no one is picking the number.

                This is totally harasing towards customer.

                i am swetha,i want to cancel my numbers [protected] and [protected] because of extra bill more than my usage.and i was not satisfied with this service and more over about signal everywhere i go.
                i purchased this sims and get activated in guntur nazz centre's airtel office on november 27th around,or you can see employ ID who submitted my proofs. they told us the plan about double delight exactly opposite 2 that one.and we strongly believe and simply submitted proofs nd all,returned back with 2 numbers.when coming to the bill generation,we used to get extra bill every time.we are not having any discounts according to their words.finally we were misleaded. today airtel customer care executive telling that we have to pay the whole amount.and finally i want you to take action on them immediately and cut their salary and make a favour for us as punishment.otherwise,i strictly take action. now get me the deposit back or deduct into my bill as you can get it from that employ salary.that is my demand.and i am not going to pay the whole bill.

                finally,i want to advice : PLEASE TRY TO HAVE CUSTOMER FEED BACK ,they are satisfying or not with this service,is there occuring any technical mistakes in bill generating,signal is weak or not in some areas,why always airtel cross connecting other numbers and charged..etc..
                i request you to solve my query as early as you can with positive response for senior customers.. Thank you

                I GOT CALL IN JUNE FROM AIRTEL THAT YOU CAN ENJOY MOVIE AT BIGFLIX THIS SERVICE IS FREE FOR ONE MONTH I SAID OK IT WAS ACTIVATED I SEE IT ONE DAY AND THEN I UNSUBSCRIBED IT THEN I GOT UNSUBSCRIBTION CALL FROM AIRTEL ABOUT REASON I SAID DIDNT LIKE IT THEY SAID ITS OK WE WILL REMOVE IT.. AND NOW IN AUGUST THEY AD THE AMOUNT OF MOVIE .... WHAT AIRTEL IS DOING FRAUD WITH PEOPLES ... I CALL CUSTOMER CARE SEVERAL TIMES THEY SAY HOLD THE LINE AND THEY DISCONNECT .... WHAT I DO PLZZ SEE TO IT....
                they have sent me extra bill, when i call to custumer care then disconnect the phone . very unresponeable .
                I have activated 2 G Data service plan on 1st April 15 with the help of customer care of airtel for my no [protected], customer care executive told the same plan is for 2 GB data and i used 1.74 GB but have charged 1450 extra bill for extra uses of Data (Airtel billed as per pro reta basis ) same no one told before..

                Discussed with airtel team 5-8 times for way off the extra bill and finally they only ready to reduce 500 rs which i reject and told reduce 1450 and will pay the bill immediately.

                Now they disconnected my no in coming & outgoing with fines on non payment of bills even data is off from one month almost but charged with monthly rental..

                Requesting to do the needful and resolve issue this is my 4 years old no with airtel also having 4 connection..

                  i have an airtel no [protected] from aligarh uttar pradesh. which is lost in delhi. after that i launched the complaint to police station and i have a copy of fir with me and also call the customer care to stop my out going to avoid the misuse of my number. but now i want duplicate sim on same number but nobody is cooperating from customer care center from aligarh city and as well as from customer care helpline. I become very frustrated by acting as football between them. please advice how can i get my number back.

                    CELL TOWER[AIR TEL] WAS INSTALLED IN THE THICKLY POPULATED AREA NEAR TO MY HOUSE 6-3-213/C PREM NAGAR, KHAIRTABAD, HYDERABAD-004 FOUR YEARS BACK. DUE TO ITS HIGH RADIATION MY SELF, FAMILY MEMBERS AND RESIDENTS NEAR TO CELL TOWER HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FROM ILL HEALTH LIKE SKIN ALLERGLY/RASHES AND SEVERE GIDDINESS. THE CELL TOWER WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT THE WILLINGNESS OF THE RESIDENTS. HUGE AMOUNT IS BEING SPENT ON MEDICAL TREATMENTS. THOUGH COMPLAINT WAS GIVN FOR REMOVAL OF CELL TOWER, THE GHMC AUTHORITIES ARE NOT TAKING ANY ACTION . YOU ARE REQUESTED TO KINDLY ADVICE WHETHER WE CAN FILE A CASE ON AIR TEL AND OWNER OF THE HOUSE WHO IS KEEPING CELL TOWER SEEKING REMOVAL OF CELL TOWER AND FOR COMPENSATION.                       Hi , I have already posted complaints regarding without notice disconnecting channels , I didnt get any solutions for that, my request is .. Actually I am satisfied with my current package and channels, so I recharged for one year, after recharging they disconnect one of my favourite channel from the package and I have called to customer service also , thier reply is the cost of the channel is hiked so we disconnected,
                      shall i get any solutions for this.....

                        I took new postpaid connection. Main purpose why I took this is to get International Roaming. I paid 5k before leaving India and I was told roaming was enabled. And when I came to US and checked it is not showing any signal. One of my colleague took airtel(prepaid) and he also took international roaming(infact he dint even pay 5k advance). He got his roaming activated!! I tried keeping my SIM in his mobile but still no use. This way I'm sure that there is some problem in activation. I tried manual network search, still no luck.

                        I'm tired talking to Airtel CustomerCare guys, tracking number[protected]this is not first one!!). I got reply saying they will get back to me by 15th(please see mail thread below), but till now I did not get any reply.
                        I even called nodal office, no one picking up the call! and that is additional charge for me, as I'm calling from US!

                        Airtel customer support is really bad. I'm deeply frustrated with Airtel services. They should understand the importance of this IR to me. :(

                        I did big mistake taking Airtel.

                        AIRTEL : Hope you understand the situation and do the needful ASAP.

                          I have had a call on my Airtel number from a number [protected] (twice) on 17/02/2011 at 11.10am & at 11.25am but I didn't pick up, as i saw it as an ISD number, while searched on google i found it from Pakistan and while I searched the whole number i found the same kind of complaint with the same number as mentioned below in the link:

                              My AIRTEL DTH ID are [protected] & i have decided to take the 6 month advance rental plan with the same channel packages as were already available for viewing to me.but surprisingly when i had paid the 6 months advance rental the ZEE News channel has been removed from my list and when contacting to customer care thru e-mail & phone call they are not satisfactorily answered and the things happen 3-4 days. and finally they have suugested to pay extra amount to subscribe the ZEE News channel.
                              if the channel is available before paying the advance rent of 6months than how it is removed and demand the extra money?? this is unfair practice and required the action..

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                This is to bring to your kind attention about prompt service that we are not getting in case of calling up on your airtel customer care number [protected] and [protected].
                                Our case is Mr. Shripad S. Shetye (senior Citizen) lost his airtel mobile having number [protected] (prepaid connection) about 8 days back and we were trying to call up the above airtel customer care numbers but we were unable to get any airtel customer executive online so that we could lodge complaint about this disconnection of lost airtel mobile number.

                                Infact customer service executive should immediately be available on your customer care numbers so that we can tell about the problems we face and grievances, if any.
                                But sorry to state that it is a poor service and we were really frustrated and had to rush our office boy to the Ghatkopar airtel gallery to lodge the complaint.
                                Now the complaint has been given on number 999 and they have told to call after 12 hours on number 121 but through airtel number only. There should be some service where we can
                                easily get in touch with the customer care executives from any non-airtel numbers.

                                Kindly take action immediately and let me know whether the number [protected] has been disconnected.

                                There should be easy service about disconnection when our own mobile is lost to avoid wrong usage by the receiver of the handset.

                                  Airtel has deducted rs 20 and started friends chat service without me sending any request. they have even not informed me about the start of the service and deduction. I came to know about deduction when on 16 feb 2010 at night when i checked my balance. I called customer care at 198 and came to know that rs 20 were deducted for friends chat service i told him that i have not activated the service but he refused to listen to me and cut the phone. I again called 198 and this time again the customer care person cut the phone and also stopped the service. So in this i was deducted rs 20 for a single day for a service which i didn'u use nor activated. When i again tried to call customer care i was not able to do so as it was disabled by them. This is total fraud and dadagiri. This is not about the money but about the cheating. I feel cheated and helpless as they have openely cheated me and i can't do anything about it

                                  Airtel — Unauthorised chat activation

                                  Hello Airtel guys, hope u read this complaint. I would like to publish this comment in the online consumer complaint form so that people would read the degree of corruption in the AIRTEL offices. My mother-in-law has an AIRTEL pre-paid connection which she has been using for over 2 years. Without her consent the AIRTEL guys have subscribed to "Chat services" with an intention to steal money from the pre-paid connection. She gets irritating calls from "loafers & third rated guys" that too beyond 11 PM. I shouted at the call center guy. After a few moments he gave me a confirmation that the "chat service" (rather unauthorized "chat activation") has been disabled. I challenge the AIRTEL guys to prove if the service was ever activated. I gave a standing instruction to these guys never to activate the "chat service"; but i am certain these AIRTEL guys would illegally activate the service and deduct the proportionate amount from the pre-paid account.

                                  I strictly warn you guys not to play the dirty game once again, else my next mail would to to the OMBUDSMAN with a copy to your CEO.

                                    THIS IS REGARDING MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MOBILE NUMBER [protected]). I HAVE SUBMITTED NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY FROM AIRTEL TO TATA DOCOMO ON 04 FEB TO LOCAL RETAILER AFTER GETTING UNIQUE PORTING id ON 01 FEB2011. THE EXPIRY DATE FOR THE SAME IS 16 FEB 2011 AND THAT IS TODAY. AND SO FAR NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. IN THIS REGARD I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES OF BOTH THE SERVICE PROVIDERS MANY TIMES AND THERE IS NO POSITIVE RESPONSE FROM BOTH SIDES. BOTH THE SIDES ARE JUST ASKING TO CALL THE OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS(AIRTEL/DOCOMO) AND THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. FOR YOUR REFERANCE I JUST SPOKE TO Mr. PUKHRAJ, CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE OF DOCOMO, HE ASKED ME TO DO THE SAME i.e TO CALL AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE. WHEN I SAID THAT I WILL COMPLAINT IN THE CONSUMER FORUM. THEN HE SAID HE IS CONNECTING TO HIS HIGHER SUPERVISOR FOR THE SAME. I KEPT THE MOBILE ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES AND THEN THE CALL AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECTED FROM THEIR SIDE. MARELY PASSING BILLS IN PARLIAMENT DOESN'T CREATE THE SERVICES STREAM LINE. FOR THIS, THERE IS URGENT REQUIREMENT TO PUNISH SUCH SERVICE PROVIDERS WITH SUSPENSION OF THAT FIRM. THEN ONLY ALL THE SERVICE PROVIDERS CAN COME ON LINE. OTHERWISE THIS WILL KEEP ON HAPPENING WITH THE TODAYS CUSTOMER. I WANT YOU TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION.

                                    I had the same issue.
                                    From Docomo, I got a message which reads like this:
                                    Your request has been rejected due to contractual obligation. Pls contact your existing service provider.

                                    I tried contacting Airtel- No response at all. Later I got a call from one of the Docomo agency and they told me to resend the porting request and tell them the Unique Porting ID. They said porting will be complete within next 7 days. Till now I din't get any response at all. My Mobile no. is [protected]
                                    hi...i wanna change my network from airtel to tata docomo...could u please help me about the process(instructions) i need to follow.

                                    I had the same issue.
                                    From Docomo, I got a message which reads like this:
                                    Your request has for Mnp Is succesfully done.

                                    but there is no portabilty since 1 month ([protected])
                                    yes now my request has been resolved. you must follow up ur request after submitting documents. You must speak to customer care regularly, although they don't listen. Note down the name of customer care executives and put up complaint in consumer forum. You have to get behind them, then only they will release the network.
                                    Airtel is one of the worst service providers in India. I had easily ported my idea no +91 [protected] to Airtel. Now since I am not happy with their services, I opted for porting to Tata Docomo. I gave the application on 25th April... for some reason or the other Airtel never stoped their service. I called the customer care they said some services are active and asked me to use RC12. I did that. Then they told me that they will do the porting on 7th July. Today it is 11th July and the porting has never happened.
                                    Airtel guys are crasy. When someone is not happy with your services u should let them go. But these useless guys give all kinds of tensions to the customers. Every time I go to their Koramangala center I hear someone shouts at there.
                                    If the concerned people in Airtel take a little salt in their meals let them satisfy their customers
                                    I AM HAVING A PROBLEM AGAINST AIRTEL.I ACTIVATED RS.53 SMS CARD FROM MY NUMBER ITSELF. ON THE SPOT I WAS CHARGED RS.53 FOR IT BUT BENEFITS REGARDING FREE SMS HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED YET.I CALLED SO MANY TIMES TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT ALL IN VAIN. AIRTEL IS PROVIDING WORST SERVICES AND I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED FROM THAT.

                                      I took Aritel Mobile Postpaid Connection 6 months back. I was unnecessarily being charged for a Value Added services namely Subscription Service Alerts since 6 months. Unaware of this I paid my bill for all the previous months. In the last month when I received a hard Copy of Bill, I realized that I didn't subscribe for that specific Alerts. When I called the Customer Care and inquired about this, they just said that my Mobile automatically activated for those services. I couldn't understand without my interference how could my Mobile on its own could activate a Value Added Service.

                                      Moreover, I also noticed that is it necessary to charge a Customer for getting support from the Customer Service? These people started charging 50ps per 3mins. Another interesting aspect is that, when I confirmed (generally by pressing some number) to talk to Customer Representative, just before getting connected to the Representative, the call will be Disconnected. This generally happens twice, and for the third time or fourth time when you call and confirm to connect to Representative then it will be successful. It is a prank played by the Service Provider to charge the Customer for 3 times i.e, 1.5rs just by pressing the confirmation button and not connecting to the Representative.

                                      Providers are becoming smart enough to charge the Customers unnecessarily.

                                      I would like to file a case on the Airtel for unnecessarily subscribing for Value Added Services without my permission and any prior intimation.

                                      Also I would like to request TRAI to take necessary steps to stop Service Providers eating away the Customer Money for the Support which they must provide for free of cost.

                                      My name is Sunil. I also suffering from unnecessary activation of value added service by Airtel Mobile without any information . Just they are charging Rs.30 every month, even i called so many times customer care to stop service but i dint get any response from this.Finally i decided to switch another company.This in my kind suggestion to all friend to switch from Airtel to any other provider to get rid of type of problem.
                                      Airtel khule aam din daharde har ek costumer ke pocket marta hai aur hamara system has nothing to do, nothing to say our judicial system sits mum.

                                        Dear all concerned,

                                        A complaint was registered on 15-Feb-11 (complaint no. 5435093) regarding non-functionality of Airtel DTH. Upto now (20:00, 16-Feb-11), the same is not attended. Frequently the connection get disturbed, set top box malfunction frequently. On 15-Feb-11 while talking to Airtel customer care, I was advised to switch off the set top box & switch on again. I did so but set top box stopped working at all. Now since last one day, service is not working at all.

                                        I was told by the CSR that I have to pay the engineer visit charges as well as cost of set top box (350/-). I am not able to understand, why I have to pay if the equipment provided by Airtel does not work properly.

                                        I am facing problems since purchase of the system, few of them are listed below:-

                                        1. Set top box hangs frequently, the box was replaced by Airtel few months back
                                        2. Signal is disturbed/lost very often
                                        3. Features as committed by Airtel at the time of purchase never worked. I have been told to wait but since last more that 2 years, the feature never worked

                                        While talking to CSR or their local service providers (Mr. Kailash - +91 [protected]), I asked the mobile no. of responsible Airtel CS Manager but I was denied on account of company policy.

                                        Under the circumstances, I feel cheated and would like to take up the matter in Consumer court if the satisfactory & immediate solution is not provided. This is the situation when I am previllage customer of Airtel using 2 Mobile connections, Landline as well as DTH. HORRIBLE !!!! I MUST LOOK FOR OPTIONS !!!

                                        I wish that above message is reached to Airtel Management and my grievances are addressed immediately.

                                        Same problem we are facing. It just 4 months since we have subscribed for airtel and since than some or the other problems are occurring. For the last two weeks I am facing a problem that is error SM2. Even their customer care or technical personals not know about it. Last week they changed my setup box and today the same thing occurred again. I am fed up now. And worst part is they tell to hold 3-4 button on your st up box in such a way that you don't loose the press. My fingers started paining but nothing happened. I am fed up now.
                                        I also suggest not to buy any Airtel services

                                        My customer ID is [protected].I made the mistake of paying online for the new connection.I paid the bill of 1590 on 21st of feb 2011.the lady from ur customer care called and said that it would be done within 24hrs.But no body cared for more than 10 days.When i called your customer care they always said that please be online and we will forward it to the other authorities but each time they cut the call.After many unsuccesful attempt i somehow got the number of your area manager( mr. Rajesh gupta [protected]).After many calls and running here and ther my set top box was installed yesterday but the connection started today only.That also after making about 30 calls to ur customer care and area manager.After the connection got activated, within minutes, error code [protected]@ came and displayed that there is no signal and contact cutomer care.
                                        I must say that there is no limit to shamelessness in Airtel.I feel cheated and I am fed up of calling again and again to your useless area managers and customer care.
                                        I dont know if you will look into the matter or not but one thing is sure.I WONT SUGGEST ANYBODY TO BUY AIRTEL DTH.
