Nokia C3-Airtel free 6 months Internet usage
I had bought a new Nokia C3 alongwith airtel free gprs usage for 6 months on 07 Feb 2011 from mobile store, vikas surya plaza,m2k, Rohini, with that i was given a airtel sim,though i am using a vodafone number,i switched on to airtel to utilize the free intenet offer,in the begining when i was buying my nokia handset,i was told that it will get activated as soon as i insert the airtel sim,but now it has been 6 days and still i havent got any 2 gb usage,over that i am being charged when i try to connect to the internet.
Please help us to get this 2 gb internet activated on my airtel sim as as possible.

Hi, with similar reference but a different problem .
I bought Nokia C3, activated free internet on my airtel sim as well . Although I m able to connect to google, communities and gmail etc. But i am not able to use any Chat facility on it .Since when I am trying to open OVI store to download "E Buddy mobile messenger" its not detecting that free internat package(Although I m able to connect to google and gmail etc).
When I am trying to use "Chat" under "messages" tab that time its deducting around 5 rs per chat from my balance (so even its not detecting that free airtel internet package).
Then I tried with fring but even its not working
So can you please tell me if I want to use Chat facility(GTalk) on Nokia C3 using this free 6 months internet package then how to do that.
Waiting for reply.

    Im Vijay Choudhary, i holded aitrtel ka 3 connections i.e[protected], [protected] & [protected]. And [protected] is my main connection and the are other two are my add on connections. i had a deposit amount of Rs. 6000/-. I migrated my main numbr to prepaid and wrote to airtel to make the othr numbr as main and continue my billing and return my deposit. I wrote letter to airtel but d airtel offic at paradise dint help had always problem wth everything. They did not send my bills for two months Jan n Feb.

    I also wrote letter to change my billing address bt dat was not done and wen i send an sms for ebill and i received the Ebill with all changes in call charges with the old address.

    Nw i dnt receive the bills on time and my bill plans are also changed i was into 999 plan wer the call charges was 0.49 for local and 0.99 for std bt nw dey charged 1.5 for std.

    So request you to kindly make my billing addredd as : 112, Ispat bhavan, 5-4-23, Distillery Road, Ranigunj, secunderabad. and kindly refund my deposit of Rs. 6000/-

    I request you to kindly make the necessary immediately.

        Hello,
        I have just used the mobile No portability. for swiching from old subscriber (reliance CDMA) to Airtel prepaid. Swiching has happend siccessfully since last tuesday. After that i am not able to rechange my no. I used the following method.
        1. by using Mcheck facility:
        it is giving me the error message that "recharge is only allowed for a valid airtel prepaid number".
        2. I have tried to multiple rechage by some shopkeepes: I am getting the error message
        "recharge no successful on your mobile. Transaction Id [protected] Dated[protected] at 12.19PM.

        I am not getting any help after talking with paid customer care. Once guys called and told that problem is resolved but it was a false commitment.
        I am havily stuck at present. becasue i am not able to call anybody.

          No Peace TV on AIRTEL DIGITAL TV DTH

          Dear Sir.

          This is Syed from Mumbai, i have requested airtel to add Peace TV on Airtel DTH, but they cannot.

          my question is if they have any limitations to give all the channels why they told/advertise at time of buying"YOU CAN ADD CHANNELS AS YOUR WISH"

          beacuse of their wrong endorsement i feel cheted by Airtel before buying i gone on brand reputation what they have, but i didnt get the service as expected.


          Just i want to know the reason, because of buying Airtel iam not getting the channel i wish to watch but in my next door a local cablewala is providing.

          now iam not able to judge a local cablewala is better or Airtel.

            I am Vignesh - using [protected] (TN Prepaid no of bharthi Airtel). I am suffering a lot with airtel network. I am using this no more than 4 year above. i ever seen this type of irresponsible work as taking customer balance's & activating the VAS ***** service. I lost more than 200rs for this issue.
            How ever, i given a complaint to cust care by dialing 198 & 121( charing unit). but i didn't get the proper response from Agent, escaltion team & as well Team leader. then i called to Nodal - escalate this concern. still, the service is getting activated without consent. Promised call back was not done.

            Great Appelate was not interest to speak with me. they are just disconnecting the line.

            Request you to take this issue to concern team.

              my name is ganesh malalikar. my mobile no. is [protected] with postpaid connection .i want to port from airtel to vodafone. i have submitted all the documents & unique porting code on 27th jan.porting id is AX572387.till today i have not been ported out to vodafone. the customer care of airtel not responding. i have paid all the outstanding amount on the same day i'v been told. now whom to complain?

              i want to change my airtel [protected] connection to reliance. i recived the porting id from airtel that is ak113e1c . i recived 4 same call for why you want to change the operater but they are not doing proper to complete this formality to change the operater for last 10 days.
              i have a airtel sim card [protected] , where i work airtel not working properly so i want to change my mobile operater through portability MNP , i submit document to change operater in idea , but airtel company does not port out me so porting not done .
              i submit document & upc AZ197626 on date 21/04/2011 , but airtel company create problem .when i call customer care they are laying & delaying my porting.
              when UPC validity is expired airtel company blocked my porting request sms

                Above sub AIRCEL ([protected]) mobile number MNP REQUEST DONE 22 Jan, 08 Feb. morning AIRCEL done the deactivation, but still my AIRTEL sim card not active, i told AIRTEL customer care but they are saying we already rejected sub. number for outstanding payment from AIRCEL (MNP RULE). 07 Jan. Morning i paid the all outstanding to AIRCEL. Now last 4 days my number not active, again i came to AIRCEL i asked for my number port out to AIRTEL, now AIRCEL saying we already done port out we can't do anything. NOW BOTH NETWORK SAYING WE DONT HAVE ANY DETAILS AND CONCERN WITH MY NUMBER. LAST 18 MONTH I AM KEEPING THIS NO. FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE. In this regards any body can help me return to my number.

                Above sub AIRCEL ([protected]) +25 corporate mobile number MNP REQUEST DONE 04 Feb, 07 Feb. morning AIRCEL done the deactivation, but still my MTS sim card not active, i told MTS customer care but they are saying we already rejected sub.number for outstanding payment from AIRCEL (MNP RULE). 07 Jan.                 I have applied MNP PORT on jan 20th from AIRCEL TO VODAFONE. They rejected my request and they said that the o/s amount yet to be cleared. They not even ready to give billed amount and they said i need to pay the unbilled amount its about Rs.700.00. I was waiting for that billing cycle and paid Rs.680 for the two numbers. But previously they said Rs.700 for one number itself. Then i again raised the request on 15th feb 2010 for my 3 numbers.They port out for my other two number [protected], [protected]. They purposely rejected my number and they said i need to pay o/s amount. I spoke with the Aircel Customer. Now the big dramatic story started. They said i have not paid the Jan 2010 bill for the Rs.680. Its looking strange that after one year they are asking me to pay the o/s bill for the month of Jan 2010. Its highly stupidity and cleary shows that they are cheating the customer.I have My UIP REQUEST - DT236359. My number is [protected]

                i was using idea postpaid no [protected] from 2003.my monthly bill was 2000rs aprox.in 2010 i faced many problems.customer care didnt solve any problem. then i port my number in aircel.there is network problem. the before 10 days i request for airtel portblty. but till date i didnot get any reply from service provider. all the service provider are same.bad service by all service provider.my airtel sim no.is[protected]f

                  I have alreay possted a complaint as shown below and also sent a mail to [protected]@airtel.in.
                  But everything in vain.From nodal officer whenever I contact I get an info saying that it's been escalated and ask me to wait for 48 hours.But nothing has happened so far.This is really cheating an nobody takes up the responsibility.When I posted this complaint in this forum I got an autoamted mail saying that I will be contacted for further details.That's all .

                  In short looks like I lost my 1000 Rs and Airtel is least bothered about customers inconvenience for buying their product.Is there any way of getting back that money atleast..

                  cards at the earliest.

                  AirTel — International calling card not working

                  The international calling card is not working in the phone [protected] ( Balance available is 900 Rs.)
                  On 5th Feb 2011 ,my husband bought Airtel world calling cardsworth Rs 1000/-
                  from Bangalore International airport.
                  Though the Airtel authorized vendor assured him that all of the cards are

                    my problem is if want to talk to customer care in airtel 198 or 121 .. i cant able to make a call... they will simply block my call .. i cant able to contact the customer care..


                    2) i want to switch from airtel to vodofone using mnp proceess.... but in airtel they will block ( holding) the customer to not move out from airtel.........

                    yet now they will not giving the port out ... to my number......

                    i request to mnp process on 23/1/2011 .. but yet now the airtel is not giving the port out option ....
                    so kindly understand the situation.... and try to resolve the problem...

                    i ask the mnp department ..and also talk to nodel officer in vodofone .. but the clearly said all the mnp request will ready to port in ...

                    contact the Nodal Officer of your service provider.
                    If your problem is not solved by the Nodal Officer, you can appeal to the appellate authority of the service provider.Then send your complaint to TRAI.

                      ON 07.02.11 AFTERNOON AROUND 12.30 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL CALL CENTRE.ONE GIRL WAS TALKING TO ME SHE WAS SAYING MY NUMBER SELECTED FOR FREE CALLER TUNE.YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED EVEN 1RS FOR 3 MONTHS.I SAID OK IF IT IS FREE. BUT THEY DEDUCTED 75RS FROM MY BALANCE.
                      AFTER THAT I CALL CALLCENTRE BUT NO RESPONSE FROM THE SIDE.
                      PLEASE GIVE MY BALANCE.

                        1. I have not requested to unregister from National Do Not Call registry. But the service provider has done it and I started getting promotional calls and SMS.
                        2. The Service provider is charging Rs 0.50 for a 3 minute pulse for calling the customer care for any information. This is actually their duty to provide information free of cost. Is this within the rule?

                        Please assist.

                            Hi,
                            we are using more than 1 year of dth service from airtel ,
                            In my current package I am satisfied with current list of channels,
                            So I recharged for 1 year, when I recharged for 1 year suddenly they disconnect one of my favourite channel number(517) (Aditya) without any notice, I called to customer care but they are telling like the cost of the channel is high so we disconnect the channel.what is the mean of I recharged for one year,
                            somebody suggest for this ,,,,,

                              my sim has been deactivated by airtel and the reason was given to me for the deactivation is that i was not using it since 3 months and but it was only 1 month i didn't used it........becoz my documents was not submitted to them but i deposited my documents when i bied my sim. but after 5 yrs i was getting a message that my documents are not submmited pls submitt it so i submitted it within 7 days than also they deactivated my sim.........

                                sir i applied for a connection of Browser 699-LUPAirtel/KT/FL/21 plan but after two days of activation i was getting speeds of 1mbps. examination reveled that Surf 699Airtel/KT/FL/09 limited plan was activated on my account. i contacted the customer care associate who told me that my plan could not be changed.
                                it had been clearly mentioned in the customer copy of broadband application form that the intended plan is 512kbps unlimited plan costing 699 INR but due to the negligence of airtel now i am struck with 1mbps plan which is a limited plan.

I have given port request to 1900 TATA Docomo due to excess billing by Airtel & poor Customer Care Service but they had rejected my requested for the following reason

                                  There are just DELAYING and HARASSING me and not allowing me to port out…. please take strict action against them for BREAKING LAW and HARASSING CUSTOMER

                                    CC: Nodal Officer Airtel, Appellate Officer Airtel, Customer Care

                                    I'm registering a complaint with you for deliberately rejecting my MNP application from Airtel to Tata Docomo from Airtel service. I have sent the MNP application to port my from Airtel number to Docomo 3 times with all the required documents but Airtel is rejecting the application for wrong reasons. I'm getting a message that the application is rejected for mismatch in UPC code. However, I verified with Airtel customer service that they received the correct UPC codes both the times.

                                    I have called their customer service several times with out getting any proper answer. I also visited their store in Bangalore where they were not able to address this issue and asked me to contact their hotline. I have also paid the unbilled usage amount in excess of balance amount.

                                    As promised, I hope you look into this problem and take appropriate action and resolve the issue.

                                    I also faced (and still facing) similar experience with Airtel. They rejected my MNP request for 'Legal Reasons'. I have mentioned my experience in the following post of mine:

                                    By the way, just try to google with these key words: airtel mnp rejected

                                    The entire first and second pages (20 results flat) are entirely filled with Airtel's MNP rejection cases.

                                    This tells you why and how Airtel showed an impressive result of least customers moving out in the first release of MNP statistics, thereby showing a flamboyant face to other people/customers/media.

                                    BSNL which is the most transparent service provider in the market topped the list with maximum customer churn-out because they were not as 'brainy' as others (to deny or delay port-out requests) and probably would have agreed to all port-out requests (without harassing the customer) that they received.

                                    Going by the statistics, people/customers/media think that the majority of Airtel customers are so happy and hence do not wish to leave Airtel.

                                    Great management technique by Airtel...
                                    Dear friends

                                    Airtel is No. 1 worst company ( u know)
                                    They don't allow their customers to port out.
                                    They rejecting port requests with wrong reasons.
                                    No use of Customercare (including Nodal & Appellate officer)
                                    High call rate & worst offers are the reason for customers to port out.
                                    if they are not ready give good offers to customers, allow them to port out.

                                        Last week my airtel brandband stops working. There was no dial tone in the phone. Airtel said its deactivated and need to activate again. This took almost a week and after 3 days, same issue occur again. Airtel support number of good for nothing after 15 minutes of music and minutes and waiting time a support person will pick up the phone and give u a complaint number. I am facing this issue since i have moved to IPTV. Can anybody help me out to get it resolved and some contacts to escalate.
