When I submitted an aplicaion to port-out my Airtel number [protected] to BSNL, after generating the UPC code I got a call from Airtel, "why you are changing operator?" I told them becaz of high tarriff plan. So the executive politely said that 'Sir,your tariff plan will be changed within 24 hrs, as All local Airtel call @ 10p/min, All other local call @ 30p/min & STD calls @ 40p/min." I said thanks to him. and call was disconnected.
But after 8 days I received 2 messages, both were same as :Your Airtel surprise offer valid now: local calls to Airtel @ 10p/min, other local calls @ 30p/min & STD calls @ 40p/min. This offer is valid for 60 days.
But after completing 24 hrs Iof receiving this message, my call charges are Local Airtel Calls @ 30p/min & Other Local & STD calls @ 40p/min.
so I asked the executive about this, then they said that plan will be actavated shortly.
bou after 2 days my call charges are same.
so what should I have to do or port-out to other operator?
please help me Airtel Executives Sir or any body...................[protected],...............[protected]......

Same problem for all Airtel customers.
They always trying to fool customers. Customers trying to escape from Airtel because of high call charges.
Even rate cutter is not available. Rate cutter only available to Airtel mobiles. What did they think about users? All people are using Airtel service??? We want rate cutter (eg: Aircel @11, 1p/s to all local calls (30 days). Uninor @26, all local/std calls 1p/s (discount on 5% to 60%) for 90 days, Docomo @90/150, we get 250/450 min local calls. Even sms plans of Airtel are very high compare to others.([protected]@19, get 100 local/std sms daily for 30 days).

If Airtel wants their customers stay with them, they have to introduce new plans & reduce call rates.

Dear friend you have to contact your Nodal officer and if no reply then to Airtel Appellate officer.
Then send your complaints to TRAI.

I said thanks to him. and call was disconnected.Ater 2 day i will call my friend for cheking the call rate i see that call charges to other networ is 40ps. But after 15 days in my account reduce 1rs daily, so I asked the executive about this, she said your portability offer end so to continue with this plan u have to charge 1rs per day.so i told to him plz cut that plan.then she said ure plan will deactive with in 24 hrs . Now my call rate is RS 1 for all local call & std rs 1.50

so what should I have to do or port-out to other operator?

Airtel sucks big time. Me too had the same experience but the best part is i've recorded the msg from IVRS to cancel my porting cancellation with surprise offer. It had asked for 48hrs for the offer to take effect. so by tomorrow if the same offer as 30p to Airtel and 40p other mobile offer is not getting activated am going to put into all forums and spread the worst service from airtel. Am planning to port out 27 airtel CUG connections in my company in this regard and move to docomo.

PS: I think we shouldn't agree for that surprise offer blah blah from airtel and continue with our porting request. My mail id [protected]@in.com Anybody interested in forwarding the airtel duping consumers issue can get in touch with me.

    Sir,I have airtel mobile sim no.- [protected] that sell at 4 feb. 2011 I ge 20 rs. balance and 100 MB internet free and I recharge 10 Rs. two vouchers that I grt 32 Rs. as with SIM.I use 92 MB at 7 Feb. 2011 at night I use 3 MB more that total is 95 MB. When I disconnect it is show you have balance only .14 Rs at last IT deduct 25 RS. When I call customer care They say from here NO balance is deduct. Please help me.

      I am using airtel prepaid number [protected] since 4 years. I wanted to change my network provider from airtel to aircel.
      so I used the porting service then I got the Unique Porting id "AA114A5J" on 22nd jan'11.
      I submitted the mnp application in aircel on 22nd jan'11 itself.

      But the problem here is airtel is not accepted my mnp request to change from airtel to aircel service.

        Hi Sir,

        This mail is regarding the continuous issue's i am facing with Airtel Services. On 28th Jan 2011 i received a call from Airtel that there was tremendous rise in my calling facility and they told me that your unbilled amount is Rs 9000 plus. They asked me that is there any reason for such call's. I simply told them that i am not using this calling facility since past more than 1 yr. After that i logged a complaint regarding the same on Airtel and its reference id was[protected] and i talked to Mr. Bharat Rathore on same. Mr. Bharat Rathore told me that once my next month bill will be generated(Due- 23 Feb-2011) this problem will be resolved and i don't have to take worry regarding the same. This was fine until i am getting services from Airtel, on 2nd Feb2011 my DSL and calling services was made inactive from Airtel Side.

        After that i again called on Airtel that my services are not working and the representative(Reference Id[protected] told me that there was unbilled amount of more than Rs 9000 therefore we made this service inactive from there end. I told him that this fault is not from my end there was some issue from Airtel side and after some discussion and continuous call(Reference ID[protected] my service were again made active on 3rd Feb2011.

        Now today i again received a call from Airtel that my unbilled amount is more than Rs.9000 that is why my services are going to be inactive, then again i called to customer care and raised my concerns but in-spite of helping me that they are laughing on my concerns at their desk and the girl to whom i called she laughed(which was not professional at all) and told me that she cant handle this and is going to forward my call to senior representative. In past 3 calls for which i have mentioned the reference id, they gave me two numbers[protected] and[protected] and told me to call at this number they are going to help me out.

        I called on this number and it get received after calling it for more than 5 times. There i talked to Mr. Prashant and told him my concerns. He told me that from my side there were two calls on premium number 1752 and he told me that once i will pay all unbilled amount he will deactivate this number. I told him that i haven't used my land line since past more than 1 yr and i don't know how i have these much unbilled amount and i am not going to pay a single penny o[censored]nbilled amount which i haven't used. He asked me to again call customer care as he cant help me more than that.

        I again called Customer care and told them the same, that i called on those two numbers and they are not able to help me out and asked me to call at customer care. everyone is throwing ball in each other court. Customer care asking to call on those two numbers, there they are asking me to call on Customer care

        So after this pathetic experience with Airtel i am dropping you this email and mentioning all the reference id so that it might help to sort out my issue. My services are made inactive because of the unbilled amount i haven't used and the experience with the Customer care was also very bad, the way they dealt with my issue.

            On 1st february 2011 my mobile balance was unnecessarily deducted and when i approached to the customer care executive then the outcome of my complaint was not satisfactory.
            I also tried to approach to the customer care executive again on 8th february but i was not given the proper response.
            Therfore I am approaching you to complain about my balance deduction.
            I am sure i will get satisfactory results from you.

              Respected sir,
              i am a new customer of airtel, my mobile no. is [protected], actually i had changed my operator from reliance to airtel under the mnp scheme on 22nd of january, and my number as scheduled to be activate from 29th january was not activated but later it activated on 30th after my complaint to customer care, from the same day i was facing the problem of not getting the incoming calls on my number, so i complaint for that proble on 1st of february but it was resolved then now i am facing a problem that i am not able to recieve any incoming call particulary from mtnl customers whether mobile or landline it shows the error message that the number does not exist i had complaint about 20 times to customer care and every time they are saying we are transferring your call to senior executive but they disconnect every time and i am not able to get any result of my problem . so i request you to please to any necessary action against my number so that my problem should be resolved. i will be very thankful to you.

              i am a new customer of airtel, my mobile no. is [protected], actually i had changed my operator from reliance to airtel under the mnp scheme on 22nd of January.i am facing the problem of not getting the incoming calls on my number, so i complaint for that proble on 5th & 6th of May to your customer care but every time called them up i only received the message that out systems are on up gradation so we cannot take your complaint.but i am facing a problem that i am not able to recieve any incoming call every time somebody tries to call it says that the mobile no your trying to reach is no reach able and when i checked it from another phone i also received the same message but i a m able to make outgoing calls i had complaint about 20 times to customer care and every time they are saying we are transferring your call to senior executive but they disconnect every time and i am not able to get any result of my problem .so i request you to please to any necessary action against my number so that my problem should be resolved or else i would have take necessary actions against your company b myself.

                Airtel — Refused Mobile Number Portability

                due to network issues I applied for mobile number portability from airtel to vodafone.It is almost more than 20 days nothing has been done.On contactacting vodafone they said airtel has declined.I in any case do not want to continue with Airtel,Request your help please.

                That was way back in the year 2010 when the actual MNP was not regulated by TRAI., where as in my case as recently as August 2012 I had to face the similar attitude of the airtel and they had made me to apply for the same the second time and even then rejected my documents for want of Pass port or driving licence, both of which I am not in possession.I am an ex-serviceman and my identity of having served the armed forces was not accepted and they insisted some other valid proof of my identity.I am shocked at the attitude of the concerned personnel who issue their SIM card even to pakistanis and chinese without verifying identity, refused my genuine request for Mobile number portability. Sorry state of affairs in the nation.Hope good sense prevails.

                  I have two post paid CUG connections with Airtel. (CUG plans but I pay the bills myself).I have been facing network issues for more than 6 months now. I have regularly month on month called the customer care(121 & 198) for the same for which I have been getting answers like it will be handled in 2 days or a week. Once I was even told that a person had been to my office area for survey and it was found that there was network issue for the whole area and so Airtel is planning to resolve the issue by putting up some booster on the tower. Which I think has not been done till date.I face network issues not only in offiece area but also at my residence.
                  So at last I got fed up (similarly many others in my company) with Airtel and decided to quit. We have got a corporate deal now from Vodafone as well.After the MNP was launched I decided to switch over to Vodafone.I completed the formalities with them and also got the portal ID. But later I was informed that my request was rejected by Airtel.When I contacted 198 for the reason I was informed that I was holding a CUG number so I cannot go for MNP.This means that Airtel will not provide any network to the numbers in the areas mentioned above. If the customer is complaining he will be given false assurances. And when we decide to take help from the MNP facility we are not relived by AIRTEL under false claims. I enquired many other SP like Idea, Vodafone, Aircel and it is only AIRTEL that is claiming that CUG numbers cannot be ported.I would really like to know why Airtel is trying to harass customers without providing any better service.
                  Really i would suggest anyone who is working in Chennai MWC area and stay at Tambaram are avoid using Airtel..it is the worst service in the area...
                  Can anyone also let me know who is the ombudsman for Telecom Service issues?

                  I have put Port In request in Airtel via a local agency LRK Groups, New Delhi on Jul 04, 2014. These guys took 250/- in advance in terms of security deposit which is still OK.

                  I got n number of calls in one month till Aug 04, 2014 stating that they are facing some challenges and every times these guys will demand certain details, which become so irritating when it starts coming twice a day.
                  Finally I got port out message from my current operator on Aug 04, 2014 and accidentally I was hospitalized because of my face surgery and I was unable to talk. These airtel buggers did not activate my Sim stating n number of reasons.

                  Even being in hospital, I was out of touch from every body. Then also I am following up with these guys to activate my number but till date no luck. I am being tourchered like anything and every time I calls their customer care they hang up on me and I never gets a reply.

Aap ka lucky draw main number laga hai jis ki price hai 15000/- krupya aap ka naam aur address kahe.maine apna naam aur address bataya baad main usne kaha kya ye aap ka pehla lucky draw hai maine bataya haan.usne kaha ki maire system main to 6 manine pehle bhi aapka ek 500/- ka lucky draw lagatha. Maine kaha muje ayesa koi price nahi mila usne kaha ki shyad vo price bich main jo retailer hote hai vo khajate hai isiliye company ne customer co directly inform karte hai.

                    Fir usne kaha ye price paane ke liye aap ko hamare nearest customer care par jana hoga aur usne kaha aap kitni dere main customer care office par pohonch sakte ho maine kahe mere office se pass main hi hai main 10 minute main pahoch saktahu usne kaha thik hai main aap ko 10 munite ke baad call back karta hun.

                    Main customer care office pohcha thodi der main uska phone aaya aur usne kahan aap ko main jo number dun vo customer care executive se recharge 786 ka karne hai jo bill kull TOLL FREE hai uske baad aap ko ek receipt di jaygi usko sambhal kar rakhna hai vo receipt cheque milne par jarurat hogi usne muje teen number diye(1.[protected](2)[protected](3)[protected]) jasper teen recharge huye

                    Last main jab maine customer care executive se receipt mangi to usne kaha aesi koi recept nahi milti hai aur usne kahan ki three recharge ke 2358/- aap ko pay karne honge koi TOLL FREE nahi hai

                    Maine customer care executive ko 2358/- dekar aaya aur fir main airtel nodal office main baat ki to muje bataya gaya ki voh sare farji recharge the aap instant FIR karain kiyun ki recharge ki information hum sirf police ko hi detai hai

                      I recharged my Mobile No. [protected] with two recharge coupens on 7th Feb2011 as per below details.
                      -->First Coupen Serial.No.[protected] for Rs 10 (one day validity) for which Rs.9 is showing by checking on *123*5#.
                      -->Second Coupen Serial No.[protected] for Rs. 15(Zero validity)
                       
                      I tried to call customer care 121 and 198 from my Mobile No. [protected] for which i am getting a message error''check operater services'' .
                      Now i have complained through calling Airtel hotline No. 51111 (from Airtel Store Sec 7 Rohini)for which i recived various complaint No. as below:
                      Complaint No. One:CMPRO[protected]
                      Complaint No. Two:COGCL[protected]
                      Complaint No. Three:COVWC[protected]
                      I am not able to understand which complaint has been resolved and which is still Pending as complaint details are at your systems which are not working today as per your customer care deptt.point of view.
                      In brief
                      :I need to utilize my coupen No.[protected](Rs 10) which has validity of One day and for which i got a responce from Airtel Hotline No.51111 that Airtel's systems are not working today so i will not be able to utilize this balance today .In such a condition this balance will definitey lapse.
                      Why should i suffer if systems of Airtel is not working today.In such a case kindly adjust this balance to my main A/c.
                      Kindly Resolve above two issues ASAP.
                      I am not able to call from my Airtel cell No. [protected] even after recharging with Two coupens today(7th Feb,2011)and getting following message by dialling 0123*5#
                      '' Dedicated account 5 remains 9.00 INR and will expire on FEB 07 2011 -Busy & can?t take calls? Use airtel call manager''
                      Please resolve ASAP as this coupen is valid for today only and the balance will lapse because o[censored]ndue delay from your side.

                        We have discontinued 3 Nos. of Fix Wireless Connection (Cordless) after clear all due payment and outstanding amount to one of it's distributor M/s S.S. Communication, Khamla, Nagpur on 21.08.2010. Still we are getting bill for that nos. We have already intimated to 5 or 6 time to customer care & even nodal officer & local distributor but they are giving proper response. Please find request letter for the same.

                          airtel tower causes a lot of problem my near by. like generator problem, radiation problem which causes cancer.please submit my complain and take some step on this matter.

                            Dear Sir / Madam,

                            I am using Airtel Mobile Phone Services for the last 5-6 Years. During the past 3 Years, I am not getting the signal in my work place. I have made number of complaints to Airtel thru'customer care centre but no result.

                            Recently ( on 25th Jan 2011), I have opted for MNP (Mobile Number Portability) and wanted to switch over to Vodafone service provider. Immediately, there were number of calls from Airtel - promising me that my problem will be solved soon. But, I sticked to my decision to switch over and made it clear.

                            In spite of that, they have rejected my request for MNP stating some CUG plane and heririchal obligations. So many time I talked with Vodafone and Airtel customer care to know exact status of my request but they all are confusing me and bleming to each other. I am mentally upset and I feel that I am being harrased by this Service Provider.

                            Hi Airtel Team,
                            I have taken two airtel connections (Mobile no:- [protected]) Those are CUG connection.
                            On August 27th, I gave a MNP request to change from Airtel Network.
                            It seems Airtel has taken a complaint regarding the Network Issues faced by me.
                            Please cancel/close the request and process the MNP request as early as possible.

                            Note:- This is the second time i have given the MNP request.

                              Dear Sir/ Madam

                              This is to inform you I took an Airtel prepaid connection in my name in the month of October.

                              Fifth January onwards all calls have been barred.

                              Inspite of repeated complaints made regarding activation of my prepaid no [protected] it has been deactivated.

                              On enquiry I was informed that it was out of order as address verification was pending.

                              I resubmitted all the documents ( Proof of address and Driving Liscense ) on 08.01.11, acknowledgement no.01392, APEF no. 1684475 but the line disconnected again after two days.

                              Initially incoming calls were barred now the SIM is inactive.

                              What is puzzling is the fact that even though SIM was inactive and I was unable to take calls the customer care informed me that they had called me thrice to confirm my address. How are these calls possible on inactive SIM?

                              I did not receive any calls on my alternate no.as well.

                              Kindly look into the matter and clarify my doubts.

                              I would request you to endeavour and arrange so that I don't need to change the no.

                              Hoping for a quick and amiable response.

                                Some 10 days back, I registered a complaint agasint AirTel Show Room Chanapora Srinagar, who deliberately or due to negligence deleted my M.No. [protected], but I did not receive any reply from your side whether you have forwarded my complaint to the concerned or not. However I again reproduce my complaint again with this hope that I must get Justice. Sir, I am Manager J & K Bank Chadoora and I am using this Airtel No. [protected] since last 6 or 7 years and as a matter of fact my number is used as official number and circulated among large section of customers as well as official level connected with my job. Sir, on 4th of Jan2011 I went to Airtel ShowRoom Chanapora and filled prescribed form and deposited Rs. 500/- with them as demanded for conversion of this number into postpaid one, and they assured me that within 4 or days your no will be converted into post paid, but after 10 days I came again and asked them why my no. has not not been converted so far..they requested me to give us some 2 days more…. Then again I informed them after 5 days ….. again & again I visted their office but all in vain…..After that my number stopped working and I again went to showroom and insisted them that please give me back my Rs. 500/- and keep my no. as prepaid as it was earlier and finally they assured me that within 3 days your number will be restored.But contiously mynumber comes as “does not exist” for last 15 days. I have met a heavy losses due to their ill attitude and gross negligence. NOW through your forum I claim for loss of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two lacs) from Airtel to compensate my business setback,weaken my reputation and respect among my organization and valuable clients.
                                I expect best response from your side . I know I may not be constrained to use other legal procedures agsint them

                                  I am Gunjan Gupta. I have a broadband connection on the address - V20/57, DLF Phase III, Gurgaon. My problem is with the wiring of the Airtel landline number - [protected]. The voice quality is extremely poor. There was no fresh wiring done. The wiring already in my room was not even repaired. Further the wire connected to my phone keeps coming out of the phone as there is no lock in the end of the wire. I am not happy with the landline and am planing to shift to some other user in case the problem does not get resolved.

                                  Hope this get solved.

                                    I recently got ported from Reliance GSM to Airtel considering it to No.1 telecom provider but it of no use to me as i am not able to receive incoming calls from various network when people try to call my number they get "Please check the number you have dialed".

                                    I tried to reach Airtel customer care but it is pathtic they keep you on hold and that call is chargable.. Once i got connected to customer care rep.. he told me that he cannot take my complaint as server are upgrading call after 4hrs...

                                      Complaint Against Airtel DTH for disservice , Harrasment and Illegal Deduction


                                      I have installed Airtel DTH Consumer ID [protected]. As the DTH was not working I lodged a complaint at [protected] on 10 or 11 Jan ,2011. A Boy came the nest day and tried to set it right and told that temporarily he has set it right but in the evening he will set it right permsanently..He gave mobile no( [protected] ) saying that it was chandigarh office no of Airtel DTH. but within 2-3 minutes the tv stopped working and telephoned him. He told me that now he has an urgent complaint and will come with his serior in the evening to set it right. He did not turn up that day. Next day I again telephoned him and again he told that he was away to Zirakhpur and will defionitely come to my home in the evening. Later in the evening as he did not turn up , I tried to contact him again but the phone was off. For the next 2-3 days I was out of station. On comming back I again telephoned him and this time again he promissed to do the needful after attending the complaint in hand already but He never came to attend to my complaint. I sensed that he was bluffing and I got the TV set right off my own from someone else. Per chance the tv again gave problem after this,. This time again I telephoned him and he told that he was not able to come as he is only one person to attend so many complaints and as I will have to pay Rs 100, it will be better that I get it set right off my own from some other person. I did the same.Today i.e 6-2-11morning again the DTH was not working and I this time lodged complaint at [protected].In the ecening the same boy came and I made him talk to the operator on [protected] and there he admitted that he did not resolve the problem till date as he was not allotted the area in which my house falls.It was on spl request of the company only that he has come.I was surprised to check my account that a sum of Rs. 100/ was deducted from my account for no service at all rather for disservice ans harrasment caused to me and my family by Airtel DTH as my complaint was never resolved. I asked as why this deduction I was told that this is for the visit of their mechanic, I asked that It should not be for the visit but only for service if the company or its representative renders in my case as there is no service rendered rather I was subjected to hassasment , The receiver on[protected] told me to do what ever I wnted to telling that everytime they will register a complaint they will deduct Rs 100 even if they solve it or not.It is very unfare and attracts attention for nfare serce act.

                                      This is Suresh from kerala. My airtel dth customer id is [protected]. I have paid 3305 rupees through the ivrs for a new connection on friday ie 4th feb. They told me that they will get it installed within 1 day and when i called them back after a day they told me it will be solved in 72 hours.. I dont know whats happening, Afther 3 days still they say they will do it in 24 hours.. now its 5th day and still no one hasnt come.. Two of you customer care executives mr.Kiran and Mr.Roshan.. They are not even ready to give me a complaint number.. Customer care people called me a 1000 times till i have paid . then no response at all.. What the hell is this? .. I would say your customer care sucks and most of them speak only in hindi.. Grow up..

                                      It is your false claim that my complaint has been redressed. Please donot misguide the others . You lack in service quality and cheat customers by charging rent even when you fail to provide connectivity. If anyone complain you illegally deduct money also and do not provide any serv ice.
                                      If my complaint is not resolved within one week from today, I will be constrained to file suit / complaint in the consumer forum chandigarh office .

                                        On 2nd Feb 2011 I ordered AIRTEL DTH HD setup box with 5 month subscription of south value pack for 3105 INR over airtel IVRS. The guy who sold the product told me that installation and services would be up by 3rd Feb. The installation guys came on 4th Feb and completed the instalation by 14:00 hrs and charged me 100 INR for the extra cable and promised me that the services would be up in 1 hour. Today it 6th Feb 2010 and still my services are not started and till now i have spent 10-12 hours on phone with various people from promising me that the service would be in 2 hours. One guys says that my account is not active the other says it is active but pending and lots of things by lots of people. Promises made and broken. I thought of writing to grievances but like thier connection the link on their website is also not working :-). Finally i managed to open that link and sent a email but no response since last 30 hours. i was with tata sky and their service was very very very much better than airtel. we cant even compare. Finally im decided to cancel my connection and switch back to TATASKY. isko laga dala life jingalala.
                                        POOOOOOOOR POOOR POOR POOR SERVICE FROM AIRTEL WORST CUSTOMER CARE REPS, THEY DONT HAVE AUTHORITY TO SEND EMAIL, THEY DONT HAVE AUTHORITY TO TRANSFER CALL AND THE FUNNY ONE. THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHO THEIR WASTE CEO IS. LOL

                                        Well im not going to stop this one, I will file a comlaint againt them in consumer court and may be in court for cheating me and i will request all my friends and dear ones to switch to other service provider.
