Sir/Madam,
Iam a customer of airtel broadband service since 14 months.My transactions with airtel went on fine for the first 6 months after which there was no proper collection center at my place and we were left aloof about where to pay the bills.From then onwards the problem started,people from madurai used to instruct us to pay in some lacation in our native place after the last date.Still march 2010 there was no proper franchisee and there was lot many inconvenience in paying the bill.So we decided to cancell the connection,despite our complaints the company keeps on billing us every month even after disconnecting the line,claiming that our line is still alive.They also instructed us to send a cancellation email to [protected]@airtel.in,where within 24 hrs they shall process our request but even after 240 hrs there was no reply from them.Now I had received this month bill also,if i ask about their office whereabouts,they say some wrong address and lame excuses.I want to lodge legal action against the company,please help me.My cell no:[protected].

    you need your handset to be activated with Airtel Live, most of the Airtel SIM are preactivated with Live Settings if not contact the customer care for the settings.

      respected sir,
      since past few days i have been going through
      mental stress due airtel prepaid service

      that sir, i have purchased a sim on
      04/03/10(airtel prepaid). All the necessary documents
      were submitted. But a month later the connection
      was closed there were no messages or calls from
      customer care. i contacted the retailer and i was asked
      to re submit the documents. i submitted again on
      05/04/10. but yesterday i was told to buy new

      sim as they would not be able to activate it.

      that sir, i had quite a balance . i don't want to
      buy new sim as it was not my fault.

        i was taken an airtel digitel tv connection in december for package is 2790 for one year at the time installaing the set up box south top up telugu channels and other channals reguarly what ever they are giving but now i am not getting telugu channels after 4 months , at the time of installation what they told all telugu channels u can get like that they told now i am not getting the telugu channels
        please immediately you have to rectify the problem or other wise you can remove the setup box

          signal — TV Receiver

          My receiver cannot be tuned with the frequency 10990. It goes on tuning endless while searching the channels in that frequency. Also it get stuck and we need to remove the cable from the dish LNB to get it correct. The other frequencies does not have any problem. Please get through this and make me a reply as early as possible.
          Since i can’t do it, we can’t watch DD National, DD News, DD Sports, etc. Kindly refer me a solution.

            I am using airtel prepad connection from 3 weeks , i have taken 98 internet plan and activated from 2 weeks with macromax Q3 mobile set.
            I need GPRS Settings, i called 50 times to customer care with my handset on 121, 12132, [protected] different numbers from 2 weeks but i could not talk with them ,because customercare numbers always bussy.
            and in between days i called with land line number and customer cares could not give the proper informations.
            what can i do?please solve my problems.

              I am a combatant member of Indian Air Force, presently posted in Bangalore. I purchased an Airtel prepaid connection and furnished my Pan card photo copy as my ID proof and my Address proof certificate duly authenticated by my Adjutant to the vendor. A week later, I received a message from Airtel that my Outgoing calls were barred as company failed to receive my documents. I inquired my vendor who said he deposited my documents with Airtel. I spoke to Customer Care service various times who gave me a dead fish response by saying they are not in possession of my documents. Meanwhile my Incoming calls also got barred. I submitted my documents again at Airtel outlet and I was assured there that my SIM card will be activated as soon as possible. After six hours my SIM got activated and I could make and receive calls for another five hours. Then suddenly my phone showed my Sim Card Registration failed. When I spoke to Customer care service I was informed that my phone number has been RECYCLED and I can never use the same number again. I am here in this city recently and I gave all my relatives and friends my number. Just imagine the agony of my parents and family members when they cant reach me on phone, leave apart the mental stress, humiliation and harassment of myself for no fault of mine. Moreover, the Customer care service is still giving me ambiguous reasons like my documents were inappropriate.

              My complaint with Airtel is that if they found my documents inappropriate then why they accepted them in first place at the Airtel outlet and that too second time; and despite my asking several times "Are these okay?" they responded in a very positive manner. Secondly, if Airtel had issues with my documents, as they quote, then why they allowed me to use the services and terminated my connection abruptly? They didn't even show me the courtesy to inform me that I am the victim here. As I paid for the SIM card, got it topped up a couple of times, do I not deserve a decent redressing communication from the company?

              I want my connection back and that too with the same number from Airtel. If, in any case, the company fails to provide me my connection back, I want back both the copies of my documents I provided them.

              I am undergoing a lot of stress and harassment in the hands of Airtel for no fault of mine. Please help me redressing my grievance and put an end to my misery.

              Airtel Prepaid Connection — Termination of service

              Hi,

              I am a prepaid consumer of Airtel for the past 5 years. The SIM card was initially under the name of a different person. Later, I transferred it under my name/address with all the necessary documentation support. About a month back, I received an SMS message stating that the actual owner of the prepaid mobile number and the Owner of the number are different and that Airtel requires documentation from me to ascertain that I am the right owner. I submitted the necessary documentation (for the second time) duly in an Airtel outlet.

              After a week, I get a message again stating:
              "In our recent audit, we have found that the actuaL Owner of this Prepaid Mobile number & the Owner of this number as per our records are two different people. The Outgoing calls on your mobile are barred, as we have not received your Prepaid Documents. To Continue Using Kindly submit your Documents at any Airtel Shop."
              I called up Airtel customercare immediately to appraise them about my document submission and checked with them about the owner of the mobile in their database. The customercare executive confirmed that it was indeed me and said that I do not have to submit any more documents. I warned the customercare executive that such messages of termination to people who submitted the necessary documentation are uncalled for. I also cautioned that I would escalate this matter to the Consumer Redressal forum. But, to my horror, my connection was terminated this morning!

              I am very upset with the turn of events. Can someone help me with an answer to this reckless state of affairs?

              AirTel — Termination of the prepaid connection

              I am using the airtel no. [protected] (pre-paid connection) for past 6 years. During sevaral rechages, the validity was upto 10 Aug 2011.

              I was using this number till 10th Feb 2011. Now they have terminated my connection saying that I didn't recharge it for past 3 months. This is not fair at all.

              If the validity date is till 10th Aug 2011, then why I need to recharge before 6 months / 1 year ????

              This is all their businiss. Since it is a very old number and it might have sold for huge amount.

              Please DONT use Airtel. Go for Vodafone / Docomo.

                I m prepaid card customer of Airtel bearing no - [protected] & hv seen sometimes they were deducting the charges from incoming call also and i was just ignoring but recently they are charging almost from all the incoming call which i think it's a mal practice from their end which is one kind of crime as because the the incoming supposed to be free.

                If incoming call is free then the Co. have to take this matter very seriously & hv to stop this type mal practice immediately.
                I tool have the same issue with my number [protected]. I have complained to the respective authorities from Airtel and no action taken towards the same. I heard the similar issue with many of my friends . I have been following with Airtel since couple of months on this and looks like they are not interested in hearing to the customer issues. Have decided to switch over to other service provider
                Same problem here. I was finally able to register my problem (ref. no.CMOUD[protected]).
                I was charged for all my incoming calls, not just once but SEVERAL TIMES for EACH INCOMING CALL.
                Solve this problem immediately.

                  I want to draw the attention of viewers,am a service holder of Airtel mobile service provider since last 5 years.Now a days very often the customer care executives are behaving very rudely with their customers.Its very much insulting,that we are fond of that service but they are ignoring their customers.I want to mention the name of executives,like Mr.Parlay,et.all.We liked Airtel ,We will ,but please care your customers.

                  i'm a holder of airtel moile no [protected] connection. i got call from your customer care center shilllong...around 13:19pm, date[protected]... the person who called me is a lady and her name according to her name is Ms. Parboli.

                  I guess airtel customre should have little manner how to talk with the customer...the tone the way to convey the message is totally wrong...i know you all hv recorder when some one speak to a customer you should replay it and listen the way she speak.

                  Do Airtel give trainning to there customer care executive or not???? No hospitality atall. Like this you'll loss your customer.

                    Hi,

                    I hav been charged, on my last bill, Rs. 1176/- for International calls to Africa, which I never made. When I called Airtel Customer Service, I was told that they cannot check if the call charges are incorrect and cannot raise a complaint as these charges were correct.

                    When I tried to complain on 198(Airtel complaint toll free number) they said that they would not raise any complaint for me.

                    Also, I asked them to Bar all international calls from my mobile but it was not done and I had to call again after 2 hours to get it done. Even after barring ISD calls, I am able to make international calls and Airtel is telling me that they have already barred the international calls from their end.

                    Now, my unbilled usage is also increasing on a daily basis, even though, I am hardly making any calls from my mobile, let alone international calls.

                    Today, they have registered a complaint at the Airtel Relationship Centre(Comp Nos# 31758529, 31758624,[protected]. I am still awaiting a resolution. I would be oblidged if someone can help me out in this situation as this is a first for me amd I am now being harrased by one of the biggest telecom providers in India.

                      I have been paying my Airtel landline bills punctually on the due date by cheque for who knows how long. Now I find out from their customer care that if you make a payment by cheque the money is not considered paid till it reaches their account (i.e. you have to pay by cheque 2 to 3 days before the last date of payment) and you are considered a defaulter and charged Rs.75 for late payment every next bill every month. Multiply this by the million people who do not know this. I am not sure but in every other product, when you are given a last date, it means pay by cash or any other banking instrument. Apart from this they do not give receipts, even if you ask, so the executives cannot tell what is at stake. It may be mentioned somewhere in their 100+ terms where I did not notice it but in many other companies, executives give receipts and voluntarily tell you what is involved. Even the Airtel person tried to cover up this pinching of money by saying, they cannot tell if I will be penalized till the next bill and I was lucky to get the answer out of him. So I cannot agree that Airtel provides honest and the best services. But I have to stay anonymous as I still have to use their phone.

                        Wrong Bills and Now Recovery Agent

                        They are sending recovery agent to my previous Address.

                        Every time I have been receiving fake promises from customer care executives as
                        well as the managers, that if I clear my due amount, they will correct the bill

                        Yesterday i purchased one airtel digital connection in Jaipur,and was told to pay in advance one yr rental for a better deal, I paid Rs.3850 and then after 4 hours the technician came and installed the connection . I am still waiting for the connection to be started.Thereafter no one from their side is picking any of their nos.

                        The name of the dealer is khandelwal communication and the height is that there call centrre has NO NUMBER available of any airtel official and instead gave the Jaipur's nodal officer's[protected]

                        This no is either busy or no body is picking the no thus one can clearly understand that they are not picking the no deliberately

                          Well, i bought Prepaid Airtel GPRS/EDGE USB Modem 12 months ago, it is Micromax branded huwei set and locked to Airtel network. for 2999 INR and 498 INR/ Month UL .... from a local reseller (R.K.Telecom - Jamui)
                          when i bought this crap, every thing went ok, download speed was pretty good and letency was ok as <= 900ms ... quite ok in wireless.

                          then the actual problem starts after 2-3 months.. speed slip down like hell, letency went >= 3000ms and RTO (request timed out) all the time. (dns i use to ping - 202.56.231.117, 8.8.8.8 etc )
                          i was not able to open even google.com or anything with netload 0% constantly.

                          i called 121, hell they refused to forward complain, called 7070 and they told me that there is no plan like 498rs/month, they even refused tht airtel providing prepaid modems.

                          but somehow i managed to get infos about nodal office (bihar). i got there number/name/mail address as below from 7070 customer care.

                          i called there, mailed there, after i think 15days they responded back with pathetic english...
                          they told me, "ur request has been taken and blah-blah."
                          well, i think they repaired it next month of september 2009... every thing went smooth for 1-2 month then problem arise back.... and after complaining till now, i realised they cant even speak english well. and i think they cant resolve the problem cuz either they lack skilled technician or there nodal is full of dumb people....

                          oh yeah, i also complained there appallete authorities, and i got only automated response....
                          such a crap internet service, it sometime is normal like now or down all the day forever,
                          illetrate customer care executive, unresponsive nodal officer, waste of appallete authority, lack of technical faculties - situation of the no.1 mobile service provider in india, think of other lol.

                            sir i am using airtel Mcampus sim with no. [protected]. its validity will expire on 6th april. i hv rechargerd it on 7th for validity extention by contacting cuctomer care. first they said 196 Rs recharge. i hv done it but my sim tranfered to lifetime n normal scheme that i dont want.
                            sir, your executives are saying that i hv done 196 n 43 Rs two recharges. so that converted to new scheme that i not done actually. so they hv not given any efficient help. and they had given me wrong information about schemes thats why i hv lossed my 196 Rs n time.
                            so sir, i want my Mcampus scheme. if it cannot you provide then you return my money n my mental harrasment n time plz..........

                            Even I had experienced very bad, I done my recharge with Rupees 55 full talk time n its validity was 7 days,
                            But my recharge was expired with in only 3 days..., when I called to CC there was no one to reply on this matter.
                            The people who are working under this company are very careless, cheaters, n master in misguiding innocent n unaware people.
                            According to me services which are provided by Airtel are:
                            1. To Cheat unaware people.

                              Hi Team,

                              This is Arumugam Ramar. I recently joined TCS and I am located in Siruseri TCS campus. I am also facing Signal Problem (No Signal) particularly in Ground Floor when we are inside our project cubical. But we have GOOD signal from 1st Floor onwards.

                              I am very shocked to see this compliant dated April, 2010 - But still the issue persists.

                              I am hearing that many of my colleagues are planning to change to Vodafone for better signal in all areas.

                              Please take this as very high priority to resolve the issue as soon as possible. So that AIRTEL will not loose any valuable clients.

                              I don't think there is any use in any o[censored]s complaining ti Airtel. Even I did that a few weeks back and all that they said was they did a network survey here and to them everything seems fine. But ironically my phone rarely very rarely receives signal and i am virtually fed up with their service in this area.

                              Yes Seriously, posting a complaint dont do anything . Since we are dependent on them for their service, they are taking us for granted. I have raised 4 complaints since January 2016 for network and Mobile data issue, but till its not been resolved and very poor response from them. Even logged complaint in Consumercomplaint . And got one mail from Airtel cos of that complaint and dint get any reply for my mail.

                              Frustrated and went beyond the saturation point, and applied MNP to Vodafone yesterday. Will see how that woks.
                              guess i am shifting to The Worst Netrwork - > Worst one.. Cant find anyone giving better service.

                              Pathetic of being in receiving End.

                                    Dear Sir , this is concerning my Mothers mobile phone No. [protected]. Both my parents are Airtel mobile phone users for over 10 yrs and have never defaulted in payments of their mobile phone bills .However we have recently suffered terribly because of their most inefficient after sales service.
                                    My mother received her bill for the month of Jan 10 , a sum of Rs 1001 /- . This bill was paid by cheque no. 929300 dated 18/1/10 of Oriental bank of Commerce which was put into their drop box at Indraprast Apollo Hospital New Delhi. This cheque was also encashed on the 22 Jan 10.
                                    However next month my mother received another bill of Rs 2166/- which included Rs 1001 /- of the last bill also.My mother submitted another cheque of 1165/- as payment , subtracting the sum of Rs 1001/- as this payment had already been paid .This cheque has not been collected from their collection drop box at Sector 18 Noida till date.
                                    She also filled a complaint (Complaint No.[protected] with the Airtel complaint cell , however no notice was paid to this complaint and her phone services were cut for the last one week.

                                    This absolutely negligent behavior by this supposedly reputed company has trully shocked us and caused us tremendous ammount of mental and emotional trauma.

                                    I would kindly request you to please look into this matter and take the required action against the concerned people , so that such incedents are not repeated in future.

                                    Airtel Mobile phone services — BIlling for unawailed services

                                    I have want to complain about the airtel practices for billing me for the services which I have already asked them to deactivate. But still they are not ready to close my services and are continously billing me for that. I need a resolution from this situation. I have started feeling that I am helpless against these companies. The customer care executives from Pune department Mr. Suhas Kshirsagar, Mr. Parmesh Dubey and Ms. Shweta have misbehaved with me when I tried to put my point forward to them on the customer care services provided by Airtel.

                                    Airtel - GSM Mobile Telephony — Billing

                                    I am a customer of Airtel for more than ten years and recently i have been shocked with a telephone bill of 60K (Sixty thousand).

                                    Upon calling the customer service my request was never understood several times and later upon requesting to esclate the matter a complaint was logged under ref no: 37622118.

                                    I am surprised that the airtel management team (customer service) are not bothered to understand the problem and keep repeating tha the charges are correct as the phone was used for roaming. They give me list of countries i have never visited and are saying it my fault.

                                    I have esclated the matter but had no response. I am so irritated that i want to put a court case and sue Airtel for the truama and tension to my family. What more funny is that they keep sending SMS to check if i am happy with the service received.

                                    My escalation to media has also not got me an answer as it seems the press is also hand in glove with these companies and dont bother to listen to customer complaints.
