Hello,

I have taken the Airtel Sim([protected]) on this month of 10th(10/08/2009).While taking the sim i have informed the Airtel gallery person that please activate the Special 5 Airtel offer of 2 Airtel STD nos. And i have given the the 2 STD no's to him.But he havn't done yet. And after 1 week i got the message to pay the unbilled amount of Rs.1400, and i paid it. Latter again i informed the Airtel gallery person to Activate the Special 5 Airtel offer of 2 Airtel STD nos & STD package. But no action from him. And even i informed the costumer care persons for nearly 10 times to activate it 7 arised a compalint on it.All the time they used to say we will activate it, but to my surprise no action from anyone. Now i got the message saying that your unbilled amount is Rs.2900 & i[censored] don't pay in 6 hours ur outgoing calls will be deactivated & they have done it.Is it my fault...? Now i want my sim to activate all my outgoing 7 incomming calls as well as activate the Airtel special 5 offer along with STD offer.

Its fault from ur side & u r making the customers to suffer. Please my only request you guys to please feel responsible and respect the customers...

    I am an Customer of Airtel using Mobile Num "[protected]".I hv activated DND eventhen i am Continuously getting Promotional SMS."LM-IDBICAP" is one of the Promotional sms sender, so many times i logged complaint against this SMS sender to airtel but they said after activating DND i will not recieve promotional sms from this but after activating, it has not been blocked.when i compaint to airtel, they raise a new compaint dated 28-Aug-09 compaint no 22393683 and told me it will take some time and compaint will be solved on 9-sep-09.
    Now i want to know, why should i wait till 9-sep-09 although i already has been waited for 45 days.
    so, what is the solution toward this...

      Recently I bought datacard (Rs.1000 as deposit).

      BSNL GPRS pack (1 month - Rs.230) speed is better than Airtel Datacard (1 month - Rs.999). The dealer said, "you may not be near to the tower. Try to surf near airtel tower". Good Idea!

      After 12 days without my knowledge they simply disconnected the service due to address verification report. They never enquired my local address.

      I called the dealer and asked higher authority number to complain, but he didnt give and he told me to contact customer care. The customer care representative simply said, “We cannot do anything, go to the nearest Airtel show room and complain there”. All are irresponsible.

      My advice is dont go for Airtel Datacard. Speed is very low also they are irresponsible. Now I m fighting with them for the deposit amount.
      airtel datacard survise is very bad survice . it give only speed of 4kbps.
      Dear sir,

      i am the existing customer of airtel's datacard internet service.
      but from the date of activation i am experincing the worst speed and the frequntly disconnection of the service when i am online. several time i complained but no one listen to me properly.
      i want my money back and get rid of this provider,

        I have AIRTEL DIGITAL TV connection
        .I got a free 3 mnths subscription.Now the free subscription is going to be over so I recharged it from a pacakege of Rs250.The consumr care department of your company is saying that we have to pay for previous 3 mnths also for the channels which are going to be add with this pacakege.

        Its the first time i m seeing that a company is taking money on free subcription.the channels which were not added on previous time I have to pay for dat even.

        Kindly help me on this and give me suitable sugesstion on my E-mail id.

              Hi,

              On 12th of August I had done Credit Card Transaction of Rs. 200/- thru Airtel DTH IVR for recharging my account . It asked for my credit card details and finally gave me confirmation number for the transaction.
              But when I check my Airtel Account the Amount did not get credited . So I logged into my Airtel Account online and did another Credit Card Transaction of Rs. 100/- and finally it got reflected in my Airtel Account.

              But when I received my Credit Card Statement I see Banker has charged for that Rs. 200/- Transaction. I called up the Bank ( Standard Chatered ) and they told me that my Rs. 200/- has been credited to Airtel (Merchants Account ) but when I called up Airtel Digital TV with all the Transaction details they did denied receiving any such money in their account. They lodged a complaint on my persistent request . The complaint number is 956340. For 2 days few folks from Airtel called me asking for more transaction ID details . I provided them and they told me it will be resolved within 2 working days.

              To my surprise it did not got resolved and they closed the complaint without even informing me. When I called them for explaination they want me to lodge complaint again without letting me know why the other one got closed. I asked to give to their supervisor and they hung up the phone.

              I wanted to know if anyone can help me to fight this out.

                I want to convert Post paid plan to Prepaid plan, Regarding this I went Customer care cell of airtel in bhilwara on 25/july /2009 .
                Customer care Franchisee executive " Neeraj jain " Explained me that Once the post paid bill will generate on 09/08/2009, this conversion can be done .
                .
                Now as Bill generated for the last month on 24/08/2009, I again went to Customer care Franchisee of Airtel at bhilwara but they are not ready to convert the plan .

                  I gaurav batra am having broad band connection my acound no is 14855777.On 14 aug 2009. The connection has stopped working so i regeseterred my compliant with custmer care no.[protected].
                  On 19 aug 2009 first refrence number 23305594 has been provided and four hour time has been given to fix the problem .
                  On 20 aug 2009 i have spoken to Mis ritu intraction Id no 93850746 given to me again four hours time
                  has been given .
                  On 21 aug 2009 again i called at custmer care another intraction Id no 94138296 given to me again four
                  hours time has been given .

                  complaints against him also .
                  As i am consumer of airtel from last twleve years my airtel num. is [protected].I have never been so disappointed as i feel now i feel harssed this time dealing with employes of airtel custmer care no.[protected] not helping the custmer which is with them for last so many years .
                  My recommendation to airtel is make some one acountable to such grivences .

                  Hi All,

                  I had requseted a broad band connection from Airtel office Bangalore on 10 April 2009.I had submitted the documents and paid the Charges.When I checked with them they said Installation will be done with 1 or two days.But after a weak also not done.The person who is responsible is Sridharan ([protected]).

                  He used to say always I will call u back, Installation will be done today, then he wont pick the call or he used to switch off.I am too much frustrated by the way he talks...

                      i had asked for a duplicate sim from roshan telecom an authorised dealer of airtel in kodambakkam . a female executive took my request and gave me a duplicate sim card as my previous sim card was damaged promising that the connection will be active in another 4 hours at the maximum . its been more than 24 hours now .. and the connections shows failed registration . this delay has caused me inconvenience .

                      I purchased a prepaid sim card from Sabari Cell City, Nanganallur, Chennai-114 on 4.5.08 bearing sim. No.[protected] with mobile No. as [protected]. I have submitted all the relevant documents on 5.5.08, whereas the connection was disconnected due to non-submission of documents. On enquiry with the dealer he stated that all the newly submitted documents were destroyed due to fire accident at the Airtel office where he has submitted, owing to this lot of calls were misdirected. Due to the above stated reason, new application form was submitted along with the relevant documents on 15.5.08 on demand by the dealer. So far the connection is not activated till 20.5.08.

[protected], but after 5-6 day i have faced a problam of stop outgoing, when i contact your dealer he took my new id, but after 4-5 days i am facing this problam till now.please start my outgoing.its very big loss of mine without outgoing.and plz say me any system to send you my id online for start my sim as soon as possible

                        I am using Airtel prepaid card. On FEB 2008 but nowday thereis so many network problem . many times call disconnectes.
                        lots of waste of money, and some important time call disconnects and it's so irriatating.
                        I was using airtel from 2005.I complained about 50times to customer care. In my village there is problem inside my room.In my room single tower is found.I was a complained so many times but customer care always said after few days we will solved your problems.                         I am from ahemdabad,living near motera stadium,here in our society a big group of airtel prepaid as well as post paid connection customers.
                        We all facing common problem of bogus network coverage of Airtel.
                        While I am trying to call someone mobile tower is disappearing during the call session.
                        Before the call towers are appearing but while trying to call and messages its not working.
                        And most of times no network coverage is a headache for us.
                        Please do some needful for this problem.Since last 9 months we are facing this problem.We are approximately 25 people over here in our society are using same telco sim.
                        hi, mujey airtel covrage mai bahot prob. ho rahi hai mainey 2bar airtelcustemer care ko suchit kiyyya es prob key bare mai lekin kuchh reply nahi mil paa raha tha ek bar ph aaya par unoney kaha jald hi prob solve ho jayega par nnahi hua, is covrage key prob ke karan mujey bahot btaklif ho rahi hai mera nu.mmaney sab tarf denney key karan seyy mai card bhi change nahi kar pa raha pls kuch help kijiye, mai mahrastra amravati mai rahhata hu.

                        i have lodged the complaint at airtel service center regarding no coverage at banjara hills area hyderabad
                        AP , they are not even concern about the coustomers complaint . after six months also still problem persists .

                        if it still goes on no body takes airtel sim card . (worst service)(worst network coverage)

                          I have been an Airtel prepaid customer for last 1 and half years now.Recently I started to get sms's that they have renewed my Airtel Radio, and every time charged my Rs. 30 for each even though I did not subscribe to any of them. On calling they promised to refund the money but I have not received yet.

                          On 22/08/09 I had called customer care and spoken to Mr Hanumanthaiah and later the call was transferred to Asha Madam the supervisor and I was promised the refund within 24/08/09 by 4.15pm and the ref. No was [protected]. But when called again Mr Karthik was on line and my call was transferred to Mr Ravi and then to Daksha madam where in i was again given the commitment of 25/08/09 by 6.00pm and the ref No was [protected]. And also i was told that did not happen the she would do it online at 6.00pm.

                          But even on 25/08/09 it was not done and when called the customer care no to my shock they were not ready to give any information.On 25/08/09 at 6.00pm i spoke to Mr Prasad the supervisor but he was again giving me only commitments and he was not ready to transfer the call to the seniors or the persons to whom i had spoken earlier and he was telling call back after 2 hours.

                          Again at 7.00pm I called back to customer care and one Mr Raju spoke to me and to my surprise he says there no complaint lodged from your number and when i start giving the ref No he says I cant give you any information and do what you want to do if you want take down my address but i can not give any information.

                          These customer care officers are very rude, I am quite ready to give up my airtel no and not use it ever again. Is this the way to treat the consumer? I think there is a big scam going on, wherein if any sim card has not been used for few months, Airtel starts deducting without the consent of the consumer and then claim that they can only look up account for last 24 hours so that they do not have to refund.


                          I would also like to know what other charges they have deducted from my account since Jan 08 until Aug 25th 2009 without my consent, and of course refunded. And also refund me for any illegal downloads/charges that they have done. This has been lot of harrasment for me, I have spent lots of time, just calling up Airtel in the last 3-4 days. In fact now I have even lost track of what all they have charged and what they have given back. I would like a detailed inquiry.

                              I have recently taken an Airtel broadband connection, number [protected] (CAF Number: 1825497). The plan committed to me in the CAF was Explorer 1099 under which I was supposed to get a speed of 1 Mbps from 10 pm to 6am.

                              After the connection was activated, I checked the speed at night and found to be 512 Kbps only. Upon enquiring with the customer care I was intimated that the plan allocated to me was Swift 1099.

                              I registered a complaint for changing my plan to Explorer 1099 on 8-Aug-09 and the SR number is 22951100. I was promised that the resolution would be done on or before 13-08-09. On 13th I received a call from Airtel that my plan has been changed and since 14th and 15th were holidays the plan would
                              become effective from 19 Aug (Wednesday).

                              Again checking the speed on 19th night it was the same as before. Upon enquiring again at the customer care on 20th evening, I was intimated that my original request was rejected and that my plan cannot be changed.

                              I already had a MTNL connection before this and I got it disconnected just to have a speed of 1 Mbps at night and it has been around three weeks since I have taken this connection and I am really unhappy with the services being offered.

                                Airtel Customer Care is really WORST so is their Service and Technical Department. They Speak all false and don’t have basic manners of speaking. They cheat people and dump their money.

                                I have Airtel Prepaid number [protected] and on 15th August’09 I have recharged for SMS pack of 33Rupees.

                                The recharge agent told me I can check by SMS balance by using the *123*6# key.
                                Only the first day it showed the correct balance and then it was showing me 0.00 balance.
                                When contacted the Customer care they immediately took my complaint (#[protected] Dt:18August 2009). They promised me that after 48 hours the problem will be resolved and I can see my SMS balance and use the SMS facility.

                                To my surprise I got a call only after 72 hours that too they closed the complaint before confirming with me that the problem is solved or not. Till date the Problem is not solved.
                                I have made another complaint (#) and they again took 24 hours to solve that. This time again they said its solved but I cannot see any SMS balance in my mobile.

                                WORST things happened to me all the time when I was calling the Customer care,
                                First things are they themselves don’t know what is the offer is and they don’t record any of your previous data. Every time you call them they take your interview regarding the problem right from your name till the complete problem description.
                                The call center Supervisors speaks as if he is the ALMIGHTY and you are his salve. He has all the rights to disconnect your call if you don’t agree to what he says.

                                I spoke to two supervisors one Manohar from Bangalore, this guys has got his name as Manohar and his colleagues did not tell his full name so that I should not complain against him. He was so rude and did not even care to listen to my problem and kept on repeating that there is not issue and I should disconnect the call. Before I could ask him anything he simply disconnect the call. What a big Bas*** he is to behave like this. I had to call again to them only to get to know that he cannot speak to me (may be he don’t want to speak to me).
                                I was asked to speak to another Manager called Pratima, she too was selling all different things and gave me a shock that I should be using the SMS service even when the complaint was logged no matter Airtel deducts extra money from my other balance. Now since the validity of SMS pack is over I cannot send any SMS from the offer recharge.
                                What a GREAT Answer. May be I should commit suicide before this two people as a reward to their customer care service.
                                WORST PEOPLE I have ever seen in my life. Nicely they have taken all my SMS recharge money and did not give me any benefit. Good way to make profits.

                                Believe me their executives really don’t know anything and everytime I had to tell them the whole issues (I did that 10-12 times).
                                Atlast when I said I want to complain about this they gave a email id and said this is the only way to complain. A Telecom company doesnot have a single complaint telephone number. GREAT. Keep up your good Service. That too they will not give me the names of the executives who all spoke to me so that I should not complain on anyone.
                                CRAP, JUNK, STINK is what I say to their service and their executives.

                                please let me know if there any competent staff working in airtel office in panjim goa who can do really excellent job with ur airtel service . your customer care 121 does not work from goa.
                                I went to get new sim card which i lost with all doucment to your office and your staff gourish can not read numbers he enter wrong numbers makes thing worse. your office does not have sim card for 5 days and i was told to buy ur airtel sim card from outside sold at Rs 200 instead of Rs75 with a big sign out on ur door. Is this fair? more over i am running 5 days to your office to get my sim card activited n the girl there r doing there best to get it right but tell now nothing happenning . I FEDUP WITH UR SERVICE THAT I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND AIRTELSRVICE TO ANYONE. PLEASE I DONT UNDERSTANDUR SERVICE POLICY. IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN TRAIN UR OFFICE STAFF ESPACILLY GOURISH HE NEED NEED JUST MORE THAN TRAINING.

                                I am unable to reach the aitel customer service. I dialled 121 and waited for an option to speak to customer care executive but it never happend instead i could only get the options to know abt their new schemes. I have a transaction of 333 via citibanl and airtel has not recharged by account. I donno what they have done with that and theres no one to help. They have suddenly barred my service even though i had a balance of 400 rs. Donno if they have decided to dupe ppl now. guess thats the new schema. Too bad

                                  sir, i am the owner of cell site which is given to you on rental basis, No. BPR 009 at Bijapur Neelanagar, the rent is enhanced to Rs. 3080/- after completion of 3 years, but you have paid less rent during April 2009, for that i have written a letter to the Sridhar Sindhe of your company which you have given as authorised Signatory, but no response and not received enhanced rent so far and also the rent for the month of June to Aug.2009 is pending and for the said delay you have to pay interest please avoid such irregularity in future.                                     This is to inform you that the Airtel Sales executive has taken the cheque of Rs 1000 (One thosand Only) from me and have not provided any Airtel Broadband services. NOw, the cheque of RS 1000 has beeen debited from my bank account no 1557355 on 5th aug and no refund is been given to me. The Airtel Sales executive told me that I will get the refund os Rs 1000 in form of cheque of HDFC bank by the Airtel and now it is almost 15 days that I am waiting for the cheque and the person is saying that the cheque is with the courier company.

                                      Today 24/08/2009 I called airtel customer care from my friends airtel no to 121 to know how do i reactivate my airtel prepaid coin phone connection they told to contact [protected] I called them they told to call 4031919 while calling to that number they told to call to [protected] again while calling back they told to call 4010555 they told to call back [protected] they told to call to [protected]. then I called back to [protected] they disconnected my call . So as customer care they are not supporting a single customer. No person was responsible in that place to make them responsible I wast a compensation of Rs. 10, 00, 000/- from airtel>so that they will allocate an eligible person for customer care service.

                                      hello all, iam a distributor for a small area named moondradaippu ( down south tamilnadu ), for the past 25 days we are facing low frequency in our AIRTEL tower which was shared by vodafone, most of the retailers & consumer were complaining that they are facing lot of problems ( call rejected, call disconnected, not in use, swtchd off / not reachable( even its showing the airtel tower in moble) while using AIRTEL, in our town we are having major share arround 80%, now the customers are converting themselves to other network...

                                      We have talked to the techinical assistant & concern person, yet they are not ready to solve the issue, in the market this issue is spreading 1:33 ratio, i dnt know how we are going to get back the business, the officials are not showing intrests in these kind of base issues...

                                      I like AIRTEL network very much, its my favourite network, but nowadays ...
