i want to stop airtel wap service.
This is not proper service provided by Airtel network, this network provider is deducting balance amount without any aknowledgement to customers. Please do not access any WAP content to cut the balance with out any confirmation. Airtel must care of it.
For Airtel Network:
This is not proper service for consumer, network deduct 10 Rs balance from account. Without any subscription for any service. As I dont want to use this service deactivate this service.

this is with ref to some vague activation of some text based services of which I am unaware of. This auto activation has been deducting money from my balance, sometimes at the rate of Rs10 a day, whilst I am not using my mobile for any such services.
This is a request to please deactivate the subscription immediately and refund the amount wrongly or forcefully deducted from my account, failing which I would be forced to lodge a complaint in the consumer'd forum.

    Given the above fact(s), I should not be getting even one call and/ or SMS related to any and all marketing activities, i.e. absolutely nothing that, in any way, is unsolicited!

    My Number [protected] is registered for DND services, then even I receiving number o[censored]nsolicited messages for various sources, some of them has been mentioned below &
    despite of all the mails and blocking attempts this company (AD-RO WATER) is not following any TRAI guide lines. When u call on the Number [protected], the person uses abusive language.


    I think airtel is doing nothing for this thing as the Maximum SMS are generated from Airtel Delhi (AD) gateway and Airtel is making money out of this VAS business.

      Hi,

      This is to inform Airtel that I am receiving threatning calls on daily basis regarding the Payment.
      The Collection department is using abusive languages on call. Airtel this is a high time, please take some actions regarding this or else I'm going to do some things on this regards. The payment is due at my end and the reason being my services are not in a working state since from May'09. I've made "n" number of calls to the Customer care which was of no use. One of your floor supervisor has also said that "We will not activate your services, do whatever you can". Now being a Customer no would like to go with this service when they listen such things from that person who is representing the Airtel. I had a big trust on Airtel, that is the reason why I chose Airtel Broadband and also holding three Airtel Post Paid connections. But now I had enough of this, and lookinf forward to cancel all of my services from Airtel. Kindly process a request for the cancellation of my Landline connection(+[protected].

      I will be waiting to have my reference number for the cancellation request.

      This with refrance of bill no[protected] dated 18/1/10 for karnata circle is wrongly genereted as per bill one of my usege is 8743kb @1/-per mb(as per my plan) will come 8.53808 and nearest digit to roundoff is 8.54 but this is charged 8.55, in the same bill total usage of dsl is 197376kb bet it charged for more then actul usage showing in the bill, this kind of mistake may be from the begaining and in this regard i sent mail to airtel corporait mail id on [protected]@bharti.com, also sent info to cc, nodel, appellate, and president's mail id but there is confermetion of error over the phone but they are not ready to confirm the same on paper, as this is system made mistake through this lot of customer whoever is plan other ten fixed charges will be cheated,

        My wife suddenly received the following SMS around 16th July 2009 (she is using Airtel prepaid number [protected]) from 543212:

        "Thank you for subscribing to Christ Devotion. You have been charged Rs.10 for 10 days. To unsubscribe Dial *321*911# (Toll-free)"

        I am in Bangalore and my wife is in Pune, so I cannot help her to unsubscribe. She says that she tried to dial the number to unsubscribe but was not able to do so. She is a devout Hindu and would never want to subscribe to 'Christ Devotion'.

        How can Airtel force someone to subscribe without their permission (even if they gave a way to unsubscribe)? Since then, every 10 days, Rs. 10 is being deducted from her prepaid balance. This is a criminal behavior by Airtel, that too in the name of God, and amounts to a disrespect for the entire Christian community.

        It is obvious from the high number of complaints against Airtel, that there are some criminal elements inside the organization. These need to be tracked down and arrested, money needs to be returned to the consumers and the criminals should be jailed for at least a year.

        I would like to appeal to TRAI to initiate a criminal investigation against Airtel based on this information. The investigation should pay for itself based on the fine charged to Airtel. Is it legal/safe for these subscriptions to be allowed in the first place? There should be a system in place where the person wishing to subscribe has to fill up a form and sign, (or use personal digital certificate signing) so that the mobile company can be asked to produce evidence that the person indeed wanted to subscribe to the service. Sadly I do not think that prepaid mobile phone companies have the same sense of ethics as banks (though they should).

        Airtel — forcefully subscription of Hello tunes

        Hi,
        My mobile no is [protected]. Card is on my father's name.
        On 4th of sept I got a SMS from airtel telling that i have subscribed for HELLO TUNES and they
        charged me 30 rs for the same . When i called customer care regarding this they were saying that
        i received a call on 4th september at 5:05 pm and i agreed for the Hello tune subscription which i neved did. Also i did not received any call from AIRTEL at that time.They were lieing.
        Then I unsubscribed for the service and asked them to refund my 30 rs.but they said that is not possible.

        Airtel Prepaid — Forced subscribing to hello tunes!

        My father has a prepaid connection. all of a sudden, one day, we got a SMS from Airtel stating that 30Rs has been deducted towards hello tunes. We had not asked for it. On calling customer care, they reverted the changes and told me that may be by accident your dad or mom may have requested to activate hello tunes. I discarded this as my problem was solved. I recently heard the same complaint from my mother in law and some other friends who are prepaid customers. It seems like Airtel is employing a cunning ploy to auto subscribe and make some money if people do not call back and revert it. This I think should be banned and Companies must not be allowed to do this automatically. May be if we need to have a government appointed 3rd party company who will verify if a consumer has really requested such a service or not. That way companies such as airtel will not be able to play pranks on innocent prepaid customers.

          Dear Sir,
          This refers to the pathetic customer service of Airtel i have ever experienced in my life time. There are two issues i have regisered with their customer care cell.

          Late fees

          the first bill was not received by me till 2 months from its generation and the company expect us to pay the bill on time. Since it was my first bill and account number was not known we could pay the bill on time and hence the late fees was leveied. Airtel informed of delivering the bill on time. On repeated requests neither the POD copy where we have acknowledged the receipt is not provided for nor the charges have been reversed.

          secondly, we had mistakenly paid excess of Rs. 700/-under cell no.[protected] which we are asking to refunded since jun 2009 but till date the same is not refunded. Their customer care in writing acknowledges the receipt of email and agrees to pay and also confirms the cheque has been resent in second week of july but the same is not received at our end. Secondly, its a mockery that how a company like Airtel when asked for the cheque details of the first cheque which they say had been sent but not yet received. This is the second time we have not received the envelope which has stuff of our interest. But the subsequent bills are getting delivered at the same adderss on timely basis.

            Hello Sir,
            Airtel is giving the worst service with incorrect commitments due to which i have lost several thousands of rupees . I got a leaflet of Airtel at my office that i can upgrade my plan to a new plan called as freedom 1699 . I sent the mail to airtel people to upgrade my plan to freedom 1699 and got commitment as it will be done within next 72 hours . After completion on 72hrs i called those people then got commitment as it will be done upto 7 aug 2009 till 12.11.35 pm, when that service level agreement failed then again they committed as it will be done in next 24 hrs, and when i called up them on the next day i got info as they haven't recieved my request for change of plan as well s their other excuse was this plan doesnt apply to offices . If they haven't got my request then how come they were working on my request since last 5 days by taking complaints again and again & if this plan is not for office use then who authorised them to send such leaflets with the office broadband bill without mentioning as its not appliable in office . Im really fed up with their incorrect and incomplete informations and wrong commitments and coz of these things i have been in a loss of about rs 50, 000 /- . Can i get any kind of compensation on such things ? Plz help me out .

            Airtel is giving the worst service with incorrect commitments due to which i have lost several thousands of rupees .I applied for 599/-plan with 128kbps and unlimited speed.Airtel service provider also tok all the information from my side and told me they are giving Rs599/ 599/-plan with 128kbps and unlimited speed.That persons mobile number is ([protected]).I paid 1000/-as instalation charges.Instalation pepole came and they also set the speed as 128kbps and also confirmed me and confirmed to Airtel customer care service .That persns name and phone no is ( Service engineer no :[protected] subhash goud).But At the month last when i was calling customercare by dialing 121 to pay the money they said that u r in Rs799/-plan .How is it possible.And also my landline phone bill is Rs.1800/-as i was not using this much amount.Its totaly impossible.I didnt satisfy with Sirtel Service.I think that Airtel provides the best customer service but now i thing Airtel is cheating us.We gave complain before 2 days, we didnt get any response from airtel side upto now.Please do the investication for my issue.And provides me the correct information.And also i want my landline bill details.Please solve my issue as soon as possible .Otherwise provide me your higherauthority email id or phone number i will give complain to him.

              Beware of Airtel's wrong billing policies! I was warned about this, but have experienced it myself now.

              1. There was incorrect billing from Airtel's side. An additional charge of 250 and a wrong late fee on Rs. 50.

              2. I called them 5 different times and was promised on each occasion that they will get back within 24 hours.

              3. No one has come back to me. I didn't pay their last bill, and got a call about the non payment!

              4. I expect the collection people to start calling me now, but have no intentions to pay more than what is rightfully due.
              We had requested 1st by telephone on 6 August to have our plan changed from 1299 Business Combo to Impatience 1299. We were informed by the Airtel staff that since their system was being updated we should email the request to “wecare.[protected]@airtel.in”and assured us that after this our plan will be changed to Impatience 1299 within 48 hours. Following the telephonic exchange, we sent an email dated 6th August for the same to change our plan

              At this point we understood that Airtel will do the needful and hence started using the internet as per the new plan Impatience 1299.

              On 14th Sep 2010 we have received the bill amounting to Rs 14, 509.84. Upon further investigation it was noticed that Airtel failed to change our plan from 1299 Business Combo to Impatience 1299. We have written to Airtel customer service the same day informing you of the error with a request to rectify the same. We received an email from Airtel explaining that Impatience 1299 is not applicable to our account.

              We were not told anything to this effect when we made a plan change request on 6th August. Even after sending an email for the same we were not intimidated that the plan will not be applicable.

              Now, on 17th Sep 2010 I get an email from Airtel saying that they never got any email from us. What is next - will they delete the telephone conversation as well?

                i am unable to use the call barring feature. it was working fine before but i forgot the call barring password . i tried a few password and it got blocked. now i cant change the call barring password. it get error "Barring password blocked". i tried contacting Airtel customer case many times but as per them its a cellphone feature and suggested me to contact Nokia for the same . i explained them by sharing the manual of the Nokia model that its a service provider server and they don't agree. please get the Call barring password unblocked and share the new password with me.                   I have purchased airtel sim card from technoshop airtel relationship center at sector 8 airoli, navi mumbai in january month. after that person came from airtel for address verification and done the same. after that my sim card get started only for incoming call and not outgoing. i called airtel support and they simply told me that they will rectify the problem. but after 8 days they discontinued my number. now from that day i visited airtel gallery and the shop frpm where i purchased many times. but still i dnt get activated my no or get refund. Also, they told me that the same will happen on monday. I want to check does airtel not work on sat/sun. This has led to so much of problem for me.                       My name is Shivaraj Biradar and my Airtel Sim No.[protected]. On 21/7/2009 I have received message from Airtel prepaid service that, If I recharge Rs.198/- I will get Rs.100/- talk time immediately and after 48 hours they will send Rs.98/- talk time ( A to A). So that I have recharge Rs.198/- on 21/7/2009 through Transaction ID No.[protected]. At the same time I have received Rs.100/- talk time immediately, but till today I have not received Rs.98/- talk time. So I have contacted Customer Care Service for inconvenice caused by them. But they assured that, immediately they will send Rs.98/- talk time to my mobile, they did not send it till today. Thereafter I filed my complaint on 05/07/09 through this Forum, after that, one of employee of Airtel Company called me and apoligised for inconvenicne caused to me and assured that, he will immediately send Rs.98/- talk time to my mobile within 48 hours. But till today they have not send Rs.98 talk time. Therefore now I decided to approach District Consumer Forum to file complaint against Airtel Company and I will file Complaint before District Consumer Forum Gulbarga, if they will not send Rs.98/- talk time within tommorrow.

                      My name is Rajalakshmi and my Airtel Sim No.[protected]. On 6/12/2010 I have received message from Airtel prepaid service that, If I recharge Rs.35/- I will get Rs.35/- talk time immediately and after 48 hours they will send Rs.6.3/- talk time . So that I have recharge Rs.35/- today on 06/12/2010 through Transaction ID No.[protected]. At the same time I have received Rs.28.73/- talk time only. but till now I have not received full talk time. Therefore now I decided to approach District Consumer Forum to file complaint against Airtel Company and I will file Complaint before District Consumer Forum .

                        I am an old customer of airtel and i am the firs retailer in my village and had most supported airtel than any retailer done here. On[protected] i decided to divert my incoming call to my another airtel number for my convience, and i made an offer echarge to reduce the call rate to the diverted number as advised by the customer care. But after diverting i noticed that i am only getting airtel calls as diverted calls, i called customer care and complainted to them.then they asked to change my mobile and said some other reason. then they said they will take a complaint and forward mails and solve my problem within 3 days. but on calling after 3 days they repeted the same. But even after waiting 7 or 8 such "3days", i had not got my issue being solved.
                        This shows how unprofessional and a false commitments airtel would give ...
                        My problem is a simpile one, but they would not give much attention to solve it even after 23 days !
                        If i don t get my connection done within 2 days i would disconnect airtel connections and change most of my customers from Airtel to any other network. my number is [protected]

                        Airtel Prepaid Service — Call divert

                        Sir,
                        I am trying to divert calls from my airtel no: ([protected]) to my reliance gsm no: which is [protected] but it is failing each and every time i try.Pls help me regarding this.U can contact me on my reliance mobile or send an e-mail to [protected]@yahoo.co.in.
                        Dear All,

                        I am another customer who got cheated by Airtel and not able to Divert the calls on my numbers as well.

                        Airtel advertise them-self as India's #1 network but they don't have Call Divert/Forward option which is very very basic option since all other network providers are having this option without any restriction.

                        Except Airtel, if you use any other network just you have to provide a valid Indian cell phone number (10 digit some time with +91 and sometime with 0) is enough to set the call divert but AIRTEL NEVER support any of the way.

                        I called 121 regarding the same, 121 executive said that Airtel not have Call Divert option.

                        Then I called 198 and executive told its not network based its completely phone based like that.

                        Then I explained the executive its both phone and network based and when I place the check call divert status why its checking from your network like that? then the call diverted to the Senior executive then again senior executive also seems very poor in knowledge about the Call Divert simply told me "Airtel Not have Call Divert" option and also he too told me this is completely based on the mobile phone that we are using.

                        Then again I explained about Call Divert how it will work in detailed manner to the Senior executive as well, Call Divert is completely depends on both the mobile phone and Network provider and also I told him that I am able to do with the same mobile phone with the other networks but only with Airtel, I am not able to setup the Call Divert option.

                        Then asked him to register a complaint but no proper response from him.

                        Then I write a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com and no response then I emailed to Nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com and no proper response and then emailed to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com and I got the response as follows(if you read you can understand how WORST they handled me because I sent a complaint regarding the Call Divert but they sent a response for the bill plan change for a prepaid number),

                        As per the feedback received from our concerned team that your concern regarding the delay in bill plan change for your airtel mobile number has been addressed as call divert service is not allowed on given number from your airtel prepaid mobile number as per process.[REFERNCE: ROVAD[protected] and Qrc106091320095020059475].

                        So, I lost my all hopes and then I sent a mail to Airtel Presence [[protected]@in.airtel.com] about all my problems how worst I have handled by their executives and details about my problem of Call Divert option.

                        So far no proper solution from Airtel Presence.

                        I guess these day's AIRTEL is the worst network provider in India since I have experienced this personally. I am using airtel from past more than 10 years as a service provider but from past around a year very very worst at Airtel for sure.

                        No care for customer at all. Most of the executives at airtel customer care is very worst in knowledge about the telecom field and about the functionality of the telecom process. Even they never pay attention on which complaint they are working and what type of complaint they are working on if you read the above sample response from Appellate team you can understand that much better.

                        If Airtel keep doing like this then for sure one day they will close their business and all the peoples are are just come to the office and not working will loose their job and Airtel will loose their business and customers soon.

                        I kindly request all of you before get into the Airtel please talk to your friends who are using Airtel and then decide to purchase to avoid these kind of issues in future.

                        Airtel executives(worst customer care) and Airtel(very basic option Call Divert is not available at Airtel even newly stated networks are having it but India's #1 network not having) forced me to move out from Airtel. So, I have decided to move to the other network who care about their customer well and who provide all very basic options(I already investigated and it seems that all other networks are giving the call divert option without any restrictions for sure.

                        I am also facing this .. called 198, mailed, Twitted but no luck. They are not allowing call forwarding from prepaid numbers .plan to do port out very soon
                        I[censored] are using a dual SIM phone and are trying to forward calls from SIM1 to SIM2, then call forwarding wont work. Its like dialing the SIM1 no from SIM2. Try in a different handset.

                            I am using Airtel conection [protected] from last about three years. I have never activated any service on my connection. I have not used my no becoz I was out of station & it was lost in May'09 I have ressued the same no through duplicate sim. But from last many days my prepaid balance deducting automatically Rs. 10/- per day for which I try to complaint on 121 many times but this service is also not working on my connection. After that I took the another no 936 from on 3-4th July & talk to the executive who told me that he couldn't check the detail right now then I asked him to stop the service if it is activated on my connection.He told me send the message 'Stop' on 121. I send the same message & I got reply throgh '1210' no "there is no serivce activated on your mob' & 'if you start the serive send Start on '121' within 5 min I again send the message 'Stop' to 121.

                            But on 5th August my balnace again deduct by Rs. 10/- . I again complaint on 936. There one customer executive Suprna attend the call & she told me the amount is deducting against downloading but that time my sim was on NOKIA 1100 how is it possible I asked to her but she can't give the clearance & also any solution to stop the problem. After that I check my message inboxt there is "Airtel WAP service of cricket" agaist which my balance Rs. 10/- is deducted on 4th August & also from last month regularly

                            After 5 minutes all serivces like Hello tunes, Astology, Freindship started on my no. without my permission & also deduct Rs. 30/- for which now my balance is -30 right now.

                            Please rectify my account & recover my balance from last months

                                my complaint is against airtel dsa department in surat.i had receive a new plan on new airtel postpaid connection from mr. dharmesh mobile number [protected] who is working in airtel postpaid department.when i requested him to get a new airtel postpaid card.he asked me for my documents and my photo with 500 rupees deposit.now i already waiting for my postpaid sim.but airtel company sent me a mobile bill of amount of 1045.78 rupees.my airtel bill number is[protected].how it is possible that i not used the new number and company sends me the bill.when the company telecaller asked me that sir have u got ur postpaid sim card properly at that time i said still not.then how the company says that i used the sim card.if the company wants to know the call detail the company can call every number of this bill and can ask that is anyone knows me? and can verify that anyone of in this bill is in touch with me?now the company is sending me legal notice to pay the bill.when i contacted mr dharmesh mobile number [protected] he said me that someone ranbeer(karan) named his friend used my sim card and he is ready to pay my bill.but now i m in trouble, someone can use my sim card without my knowledge and on my documents, then what to do against the company and its postpaid department.i checked my friends opinians about this.they all are saying that this is common in postpaid in surat that the dsa staffs uses their position in airtel and makes profit for their frinend. the company can check this persons past record about his total given connection by him in surat.then company can understand his froud about the non paid connection in surat in his list. i want to compalint aginst him and the dsa of surat.they are making only money and putting someone in danger.if the terrorist will get this type of connection and will use it in some terrorist activity then who is responsible for this.so please do something in this seriuse matter.i am not only one person who is cheated by him.many persons are still paying such postpaid connection which is already used by someone who may be his friend and may be family member. my airtel number is [protected] and i have many of airtel prepaid connection in my family.so i requesting the airtel company's head department to stop and check about this type of froud against the customers.

                                  Respected Sir,



                                  I had a complaint against AIRTEL for my phone no: [protected]. Sir, case is like that I am working in DHL EXPRESS INDIA PVT LTD, as per our company policy all mobile bills should be in the name of company only. I put a request to Airtel Connaught Place office regarding the same. I filled a form to transfer it from my old address to my company’s address which is DHL EXPRESS INDIA PVT LTD: 71/3 NAJAFGARH INDUSTRIAL AREA RAMA ROAD NEW DELHI: 110015. I had submitted my office IDENTITY CARD and a NOC letter from my administration department stating that they don’t have any objection of getting the mobile invoices in their name, along with the form of Airtel. In my office Identity Card my address is written as of my Bombay address as my registered office is of Bombay.For that problem I had given a letter on my company’s letter head stating that this is my local office address so please make changes accordingly duly signed by my Administration department. But AIRTEL had refused to accept that and disconnected my phone no. After long discussion I again request appellate officer Ms Jyoti Rawat in AIRTEL regarding change of my billing address to my residential address if they can’t update my office address to my phone no. I had submitted my voter I- card to AIRTEL CONAUGHT PLACE office. Appellate officer takes action and change my office address to my residential address and I got confirmation from AIRTEL via SMS and Email that my address has been changed and now some one from AIRTEL will visit my residence and verify my ID. I receive this SMS on 5th Aug’09 and shockingly my phone was again disconnected on 5th aug’09 at 8:30 PM. I again called Airtel Customer care asking for reason of disconnection that again stating the same story saying that my office ID was not acceptable to them so please provide us a valid office ID. I can’t understand this if my address has been changed to my resident address then why they need my office ID. This is harassing me. I am facing lot of problem just because of AIRTEL. I am the Sales Manager in this company and I have this no for last 4 years. Now I can’t take new no as I had circulate this no to all my clients. I suffer a lot in my office work so I want a compensation of my time and work.

                                    I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

                                    I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

                                    I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same. I say that I also spoke to Mr.66667070 of your Bank collection centre at Mumbai,[protected] who responded to me rudely as if I am bring defaulter / criminal. I say that thereafter I spoke to your Delhi Recovery Cell at Telephone No[protected]/45023968 with Mr.Basant, who was also not able to resolve to my problem or provide me statisfactory reply.

                                    I called[protected]/67116251/67116115 no one response

                                    The said act of your to grab heavy & exorbitant amount from me for no fault of mine speaks of your volumes and attitudes to procure money by adhering to illegal means & making trap for the innocent customers like me.

                                    I am therefore now constrained to put forth my grievance in writing for necessary action and resolution of my grievance. Request you please look into this matter and advise what should be my next step.

                                      i had taken a number it is [protected] i of the sales man came and said sir do u want numbers i said that i wantthis type of number 3456789 so he said that i am having this number [protected] i can give u at the cost 1, 50, 000 i askhim for 50, 000 RS he said that he can give at the cost of 75, 000RS its finally so i said ok he told me he will submete his id card i said ok after 2months some one had re place that number when i went and ask them they said that cust cane and take that number
