To avail the facility of "Reduced call charges to any two BSNL numbers", I sent a text message on 14-Aug-2010 in the night, in the format "EXCELP [protected] [protected]" to 53733 from my no. [protected], in order to enjoy Re 0.20/min call rate for the nos [protected] and [protected]". No acknowledgement against the above SMS was received. Further, speaking to a Helpline executive revealed no such SMS was received at your end. This compelled me to send the same SMS quite a number of times on Sunday, 15-Aug-2010. Unfortunately, even today, on 18-Aug-2010, the service remains unactivated and the standard call rate of Re 0.49/min is charged when the above 2 numbers are called from my no.

In this matter, no cooperation from the Helpline executives was received at any point of time. Not only their attitude was harsh, they could not suggest any solution to this problem either, proving their inaptness for the position they are in. And its disgraceful the way the information provided by one executive differed from the other.

An SMS that never reaches, 4 long days pass and even then a service does not get activated, uninformed and impolite Helpline executives - these are not the things a service provider of your repute can really boast of.

It's expected the service would be activated for my number as soon as possible.

CellOne Mobile — poor service

i am a customer of bsnl mobile from the past 4 years. by mistake one day star button was pressed by me while calling. a sms came from your side that my caller tune will b copied after 24hrs. and if you want to discontinue this process please send no as sms to 56700. i sent that message but then also my caller tune was copied. i made a complaint regarding this to your customer care service centre,they forwarded my complaint. but till now no actions has been taken. i request you to please take some action.

CELL ONE MOBILE IS VERY POOR NETWORK IN CITY ALSO BUT OTHER MOBILE GIVE GOOD COVERAGE AND SERVICES WHY NOT BSNL ALSO TAKE MORE TOWERS IN CITY AND SOLVE THIS PROBELEM BECAUSE MOST OF PEOPLE WANT TO BSNL CONNECTION BUT BSNL NOT TAKE OF HIS CUSTOMER.

CellOne Mobile — Very Poor and defecent service

I have a cellone( Post paid) mobile no. [protected]. from the first day of activation there is problem to connect particular no [protected].whenerver i dial this number it always say that "All routs are vesi Please dail after some time" but till date i was not able to call single time.Howere despite my repeted complaint to the customer care center ( no. J[protected] dt.06/10/08 & no. J[protected] dt.15/10/08) for last more than 15 days they always says that your problem will solve within 24 hours but till date problem is not soutout.now i have no other opition left to file a consumer complaint.

I have lost my mobile today 26/sep2011 around 7:30 PM. BSNL does not even have a emergency service to report such critical events. All their numbers are not working, hence, i am having to put it here. I just wish that the system was more efficient, considering it is a government run service.     My Telo. is[protected].
    I have taken a Broadband connecaion but till date I have not been able to geat the services I need. I am not able to browse any sits due to server not found problem. The matter was brought to the notice of this no.who installed the system [protected], but to no avail. I have paid installation charges /usage charges for no service till date. Kindly help.
    We have lodged complaint regarding non-configration of Broadband connection at ours on telephone no.[protected] at SCO No. 398, Sector-20, Panchkula in Punjab National Bank branch. But the grievance has not been yet redressed.

    The attitude is not appreciated, as we are corporate office and requires urgently internet facility for official purposes.

    Kindly look into personally and get the same connected immediately.

      Respected Sir,

      This is to inform that after repeated complaints of about one-month the telephone department has not rectified my phone which has some cable problem in my lane telephone number wiht 27220686, after lodging a complaint through automated system on phone thrice no response was given lineman came and went, but line is not rectified. I personally went and given writeen complaint also, but till now we are only paying bill but line is not given the same is with the others in my lane at Neredmet, east kakathiyanagar of Vinayaknagar Exachange, which comes under Tirumalgiri exchange. Please do help in this matter. The consumers are paying bills only for department salary but we are not getting service for the paid bill.

      Respected Sir,

I personally went and given writeen complaint also, but till now more than a month if line comes also lot of distrubance comes and some body else will be inbetween the line while talking. SIr, we are only paying the bills for department revenue but service they are not providing even the instrument what they gave to us while new connection was broken one still not replaced after repeated complaints since 2 years.

      Kindly help in this regard as department is not responding in this matter.

My father is doing trading in share market Due to not work the telephone, my father has not communicate with the Share Agent and due to this they are lose the money of Rs.1lakh. take seriously and given solution about the telephone exchange.

      I am stayed at Satadhar near by exchange is Ankur or Naranpura.


      Kindly help in this regard as department is not responding in this matter.

        BSNL has so called "Appellate Authority".
        The General Manager of Tamil Nadu BSNL who is the competant authority has neither read his mail nor acted on them. Ofcourse in keeping with this the junior staff of BSNL also do not bother about complaints received by phone or in person or by email as the message below clearly indicates.

            MY LAND LINE BSNL PHONE NOT WORKING FROM LAST MONTH NO ID [protected]

            My Landline No.25822583 is giving lots of problem since last more than 6 months. For quite some time the voice not audible at all. Now since last 6 months it is often goes totally out of order. Innumerable complaints have gone into vain. Everytime they same digging work is going on and do not see any digging work in around Aundh Road. Many of the residence in our area faces this problem. The service rendered are very very poor. There can be a mass disconnection of BSNL lines from our in the near future if this plight continues.
            My Landline no.25438319 remains dead for 2-3 days / month.I am having retail garment business and our customer have credit cards.My EDC machine is connected on BSNL line and I am losing lot of business. On complaining the lineman intentionally delays the repair work .Inumerable complaints have gone into vain. On complaining to divisional engineer and Area manager, the work is done after few days. The service rendered are very very poor. There can be a mass disconnection of BSNL lines from our in the near future if this plight continues.
            today ie. 12.11.2010 somebody from bsnl tried to attend to my landline no.[protected] fault after a long time of nearly two months.It worked properly for almost one hour but suddenly it went dead.This clearly shows the inefficient workmanship and temprory job done by the BSNL technician.The excuse they give of cable fault is totaly rubbish because then how my phone worked for nearly one hour.I know nothing is going to change because if A RAJA is protected then everybody in BSNL will be protected.
            My telephone[protected] is also not working from 04/08/2011 Fault Docket # 002536 There is no response from BSNL end.

              I am using Bsnl broadband service ( 750 unlimited plan for around last 7 months, now changed to 250 / month) at home for home use. The Nokia siemens modem which i am using missing out the Dsl light most of the time. Some times blinking and get stable for another 2 to 3 hours again goes blinking , no internet connection. After 5.30 - 6.00 pm, its very difficult to see the dsl light stable and get internet online. I have raised a complaint at thodupuzha divisional office about the modem and phone line. Some off the officers came and inspected the line modem , everything. and they told everything will be alright from the day eve. Again the same complaint started happening from the next day morning. So i requested the junior office to check the modem. she told me there is nothing wrong with the line and modem.But at last she agreed to take the modem for inspection. its already 3 weeks , but no idea about the modem inspection. Today ,i met the divisional eng. and again repeated my problem. Again same reply, "dont worry we will check." I would say, i am paying money every month correctly Not for internet connection but for keeping the modem near my computer. Thanks to BSNL TECH team. Very good at service at least vocally. The same problem started from the very first month. Many times i called broadband help line 1504. But no correct solution. The best part is that one of the senior engineer told me that due to fluctuation in electricity at thodupuzha area, the modem is refusing to stabilize the DSL light ( electricity to modem = signal through telephone line). I am living and using the modem hardly 2 km from the bsnl exchange. My neighbor is getting the same broadband service at very good speed uninterrupted. I think these technical guys are not interested in old customers. Help needed.

              BSNL BROADBAND-S-250 — Phone facility While using Broadband

              Recently it has been noticed that phone facility is not available when internet is connected. Earlier little disturbaces were there however there was no problem for incoming calls and even I was able to make a call. Why this is happening?

              In Varanasi, such complaints are to be addressed to whom?

              at my home i am not getting proper speed on the BSNL Broadband and many time it give error like username or password is incorrect even it is correct

              We have been using the bsnl broadband since the last 1 year. But we are the victims of continuous dissatisfaction. Our bsnl plan is of tariff 525 and also bsnl claims to get a download speed of 250kb/s but the speed we are getting currently is just 52kb/s. and also the net connection is taking too long to get connected and if it is connected then it is for sure that it wont last for the next 10 mins. now also when i am reporting this the net connection is breaking or getting disconnected. it is been a complete dissatisfaction for the customers like me who has been using bsnl land-line for last 25yrs. also it is said that unlimited internet is offered in the morning from 2 to 8, but we haven't been able to get connected to internet i the morning and has been an utter waste using this facility. also we havent been able to check our usage as when we try to check it, it will be written invalid code. please see to this matter as soon as possible or we will be forced to use another broadband network.

              I am also getting the exact same issue which started since 3 months. BSNL team came and changed the line and still the faced. Now they found it is happening only in peak time. Before I got the issue at 6 to 9 pm. After the new cable fix, almost evry time the isse coming. still i am sufferung with the issue. now Engineers escaping by te tells issue due to therain.

              I have taken a Broad band connection for my telephone number bearing. The Internet is not working properly since 20 days, Landline connection is not working atall.

              And since last few days the connection has become very slow while opening as well as closing, sending mails etc.
              Please see that the line is rectified immediately.
              bsnl cheating customers with mediocre service. Internet data is not at all steady for the last 5-6 months. Given numerous complaints to the so called customer care no.12678. It ll work for 1-2 days, then again back to the ridiculous service with 'Request timed out' when pinged or otherwise no internet.

                  My mobile number is [protected] yesterday Rs.106/- have been deducted from my balance and after calling BSNL has not a reply for which purpose they have deducted this amount.Although they have given complaint number 5865723 but still they are not able to reply.Please help us as i am normal worker and my money is very hard earned money.Rs106/- is my 2 days salary.
                  I am a Cellone prepaid customer of Kolkata.My Mobile No is [protected]. Despite opting for DND,
                  through SMS to 1909 regularly for the past 3 months, BSNL is yet to acknowledge the receipt ofSMSes, as is customary. Meanwhile, I am constantly being pestered through Calls & SMSes from several Telemarketeers, patronized by BSNL, throughout the day.
                  I am fed up with the service rendered by BSNL.If things do not improve within the next 15 days, I
                  shall switch to Vodafone prepaid service.

                      I have got BSNL broadband connection with unlimitted download. On April 24th 2010 my internet stoped functioning and I lodged the complaint on call centre (1504 toll free) on the next day but no action taken to solve the problem and they closed the complaint without solving my problem. After that I again complained 3 times and all the 3 times the complaints been closed without solving the problem after one week I called the exchange office and explained the problem and they assured me to solve the problem within 2-days. But no one came back. I have been calling the office everyday but they are not taking it seriously. Now its been 20 days over after I lodged the first complaint. The problem still exists.
                      I did not experience kind of service from any service provider till now. BSNL is one the worst service provider, I want to tell please do not opt for any of the BSNL connections, there are other private companies which provides short turn arround for any problem.

                        Hi This is Avijit Maji. I would like to inform that I have applied for

                        a bsnl landline connection in Chaipat Exchange area on 29.04.2005. I

                        have dposited a demand draft of Rs. 2000/ (Two Thousands) of SBI bank

                        (no: 207394). But I am very unfortunate that still I have not go the

                        connection. Now I don't need the connection. I need the deposited money

                        back. I have applied for money back in Ghatal Exchange on 05.11.2009.

                        So many times I have gone physically to ghatal exchange to know the

                        status which 30 KM away from my residence. Now I am getting reply that

                        it will be issued from Kharagpur exchange and they asked me to contact

                        with Kharagpur exchange which is 70 KM from my rsidence.
                        I am very much disappointed with the service I am getting from this

                        type of reputed Organization. I am having a BSNL mobile connection and

                        broadband connection also. Now I am thinking to disconnect all those

                        ervices. BSNL is loosing their brand name because of this type of

                        services. How many times I need to go physically and beg for my money?

                                I have lifetime connection of bsnl gsm mobile service, on 7th Aug'10 my validity of the connection expired for that reason I have recharged with 110rs to extend the validity and I received the balance but the validity was not extended. I called the so called help line but they were unable to help because their system were getting upgraded, I called the helpline several times from 7th Aug'10 to 8th Aug'10 but I got the same reply as system upgradation is going on please call later when I asked for any nodal number or mail id their executive refused to give said they don't have any nodal contact person and disconnected the call. I was in a big problem as I was not able to make any outgoing call so I mailed the issue to bsnl but till date the problem has not been resolved and I am not able to make any outgoing call no steps has been taken by bsnl except a couple of phone calls which I have received by their officials.

But turned up only on 24.02.2010 and quite casually said it will be attended only next week, possibly on 1.3.2010 I am a senior citizen and lodged a complaint through the website of BSNL and also lodged a complaint with the public grievance cell of BSNL. Everyone assured help; but no one took any initiative. ARE WE AT THE MERCY OF BSNL OR AM I ASKING FOR ANY PRIVILEGES, I DO NOT KNOW. It is a pity that BSNL treat its customer of 15 years relation with scant respect and do not do its job. Will anyone accept the responsibility and attend to it.

CODE 02447 this village situated on national high way "kalyan - vishakhapattanam " in this place six months ago bsnl mobile tower construction has been completed but at that day this tower is not working . many time i given applications to the bsnl officers but he has not responding too. many bsnl mobile coustmer in that village and this custmor is very loss to day by day the out of mobile RANGE or NO NETWORK COVERAGE but bsnl officers not taking any cognizance of this custmoers big promblem.so you requested that sirasdevi village bsnl mobile tower is started immedatidle. It is in anjar, kutch(bhuj) district. we are facing a huge problem of mobile tower. we already have a mobile tower in our place.now BSNL also want to launch one more tower in our village.we gave complaints to the chandiya, Collector and BSNL office also.there is so much houses are within the 500 mtr, there are many bsnl custmor in village. the place that they want to launge the tower, and one school also there. i am kindly request you people to help us from lauching the tower.

                                    I am from Kerala.-KOLLAM DISTRICT-KADAKKAL PANJAYATHU-VELLARAVATTOM TOWER-
                                    1.The tower is not working properly, When power lose the tower also lose the signal.
                                    2.Now during calls under this tower lose only money because of bad noise on call, we cant Hear any thing from the caller only Hear Some TUP-TUP sounds,
                                    3.And another one is not about our tower, But about BSNL, KADAKKAL is a good place for BSNL company because of sim usage, but no 3g in range, so lot of people going to Port there sim to Idea .
                                    4.Actuali what is the use of bsnl CUSTOMER cares? No response from them At any time.we are waiting hours but not answering.

It is in Trivandrum district. we are facing a huge problem of mobile tower. we already have a mobile tower in our place.now BSNL also want to launch one more tower in our junction. i am kindly request you people to help us from launching the tower.
                                    In our area KWAKTA BAZAR DIST BISHNUPUR manipur 795133. Here when there is ellectricity problem we do not get network. Generator is there but not using no battery back up for the tower after complaning several times the problem is not solved is there any authority to look into this matter or we have to stop using bsnl network kindly help

                                      Hi Sir/Madam,

                                      I was trying to purchase ITC card online from BSNL's portal (https://portal.bsnl.in/itc/aspxfiles/login.aspx). I entered my ICICI account details and the payment went through on ICICI's payment gateway. While I was being transferred back to BSNL portal, it timed out !!! I logged in again and checked under "View Transactions" it showed none. I then logged in to my bank account and found that Rs. 110 had been deducted. I would request BSNL to either refund the charge immediately or provide me an ITC card PIN.

                                      This is how it showed on my statement:

                                        Writing this letter for the welfare of your department because 1 tower was installed in my Grandfather property Address:- Late prabhunath singh,rajkali-jagarnath bhawan, salempur, gopihata, Chapra,saran,bihar without taking approval of family members and all the documents submiited by Mr. manindra kumar singh was subject to giving false information to the department.
                                        Your departmental authority was also responsible for helping Mr. Manindara kumar singh in chapra to establishment of tower. It is a complete case of 420.

                                        So kindly request you to verify these all things once again. I am ver thankful to you
