Dear Sir / Madam,
It is really irritating to receive promotional sms and calls ([protected]) from BSNL at odd times of the day and also holidays.Our busy schedule is interrupted by a stupid call promoting ring tones.Why doesn't the company realise that all are not crazy about ring tones and they are busy with their work and would contact the company for any requirement of tunes.
All this inspite of registering in DNC registry.If the service provider is itself a nuisance to the consumers,what help could they be of blocking telemarketers?
I hope this mail would put an end to the harassment of consumers.

    i have a connection of BSNL BROADBAND HOME UNLIMITED PLAN AT SHAHJAHANPUR, U.P. EAST CIRCLE.MY TEL.NO IS [protected] FROM WHICH IGET THE BROADBAND CONNECTION. I AM GETTING SPEED OF AS LOW AS 5kbps instead of 256kbps and the speed also fluctuating rapidly for the last 7 days. After approaching the local authority they replied that all these are from BANGALORE SERVER, WECANN;T DO ANYTHING.AS I AM AN UNLIMITED USER I FACE REVENUE LOSS AND ALSO MY PURPOSE HAD NOT BEEN MET OUT.REQUESTED TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION.

    dataone — non regular very slow broadband speed

    the broadband speed is generally low throught the day, download speed ranges about 3 to 4 kbps maximum.
    it doesnt even offers "check usage" function.

      Really pathetic services by the government employees in this sector.I am trying sincerely hard to get my portal id since one month and visited the telecom office more than ten times to get nothing.Even I had talked to the SDO but of no use.
      They have got only one answer "we are trying and as soon as we get it you will be informed.Pls help as I am unable to get the broadband usage data.

        Hi,

        I am Padmanaban from Chennai - 55. I heared and seen in the chennai city only BSNL broadband is better and good. But in our place Veerapuram which is in Avadi of Chennai, there are many people disstatisfying about BSNL broadband. Every one is liking BSNL only but it is not working properly when ever they complaining to tele exchange they are unable to do rectification. And also for new connection they not intresting for further many complaints. If BSNL give proper broadband connection in chennai - 55. many people are ready to take the connections.

        CAN ANY ONE HIGHER OFFICIAL INVOLVE AND SOLVE THIS ISSUE ASAP.

        I WISH BSNL TO GROW UP IN TOP ONE.

        PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A SERIOUS COMPLAINT AND BEST SUGGESTION.

            My residential telephone No.[protected] was not functioning from the month of August 2009 upto the end of almost December 2009. In between when the phone was not working, the connection was disconnected for non-payment. The bills payments were being made through ECS. The reasons quoted on enquiry was insufficient fund in my account at State Bank of Mysore, Vidhana Soudha Branch, Bangalore-560001. Though there was sufficient funds in my account this was the reasons given by Bangalore telephones. I lost so many important calls and also e-mails during this period, as I had unlimited internet connection also. For no fault of mine, heavy amountt was deducted from my bank account by using the ECS mandate given by me, for the non-functioning period including the disconnected peirod, in spite of my representation to the concerened not to deduct the regular monthly charges for the said period. Even now, the telephone and the internet is not working properly. However, the charges are being deducted through ECS. Now, I have decided to cancel my ECS. But, what to do for the amount already recovered for the priod of non-service?

            residential — Disconnection

            Sir,

            I am a subscriber of telephone No.[protected] and the phone is in use for the last several years. Till date there was no default in payment of bills and I am paying the bills regularly. As there was problem in the connection, I have made a complaint to the Webworld, West Marredpally, Secunderabad in the month of May'09 and basing on the complaint they have deputed their person who visited my house and stated that there was a problem in the instrument, as such it should be replaced. Accordingly, as per their advise they I have changed the instrument by collecting requisite charges towards instrument. Subsequently, I have received a bill in the month of June stating that an amount of Rs.1500/- is due towards instrument charges. I have immediately visited the Wedworld and showed the receipt issued by them toward instrument charges, the Webworld officials accepted their mistake and assured me that they will deduct the same. But the telephone connection is disconnected on the very next day without any reason or rhyme.

            My son is an advocate by profession practicing for the last 17 years and one can not practice without telephone. We are facing lot of hardship and difficulty in day to day work. Even after collecting the instrument charges on replacement, the telephone is disconnected. I have been regularly visiting the reliance web world but they are not bothered to look into my complaint and rectify their mistake.

            I, therefore, request your goodself to look into the matter and take immediate action within two days in restoring the telephone connection or otherwise, I will be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings holding you responsible for all costs and consequences, which please note.

            Till date no action has been taken by your department.
            earlier also, i had to send a written complaint, copy of which is also atatched for your persual.

              I have purchased a BSNL EV-DO data card on 31/12/09.In the settings category,there are three modes-EV-DO,1x and hybrid.The two of them,1x and hybrid are working but if i change this mode to EV-DO,it is said that the remote computer did not respond..also the two modes which are working are very slow,around 5-10KB/S..please solve my problem..

              IF you do not get EVDO coverage then there are two reasons :
              1. NO EVDO coverage in your area -> For this you will have to ask the office in your area about the available coverage
              2. Wrong pramaters set in your Data card -> For this you can go to the main office of BSNL and this problem will be solved in 10 minutes.
              I am using BSNL EVDO connection for the past 2 months. They promised me that i ll be getting good connection speed as my place is located nearby BSNL exchange & i haven't got a download speed higher than 20kbps. the connection speed is worst most of the times. It is around 20Kbps-50Kbps(Download speed is about 3Kbps). BSNL EVDO sucks. My advise is please dont buy this crap instaed go for the broadband.

              I have bought EVDO last week, at velachery it is having only 1-10 KBPS.

              When tried to resolve the issue nothing happened. Nobody is there to help me out.

              Instead they said nothing can be done, you can give the instrument to your friend where they have the full network coverage.

              It is not my job to go behind everyone and ask them to buy my old device.

                sir,
                i have BSNL landline at my home. my phone number is [protected]. since last 2 months there is so much noice disturbunce in connection. i had personally went at BSNL's Bolinj office at Virar. but my problem is not solved up to date. no responce received from BSNL's side. since BSNL's complaint hours are same as my office hours so we cant visit BSNL again and again to launch my complaint.
                please solve my problem. i am regular cosomer of BSNL

                I would like to register the complaint regarding bill of my BSNL line number 26840185. In the month of December I by mistakenly paid the bill amount twice. The actual amount was Rs.469.00, but i paid Rs.938.00(469 on 18 Dec09 via postal service & 469 on 19Dec09 via internet) for which i do have the evidence.But extra paid amount has not yet been deducted on forth coming bills till date. On my visit in the month of Jan10 and Feb10, they said they will deduct the amount in next bill but till time that has not happened. Iam very much dejucted. I also paid the bill amount of next month, January(bill no:[protected] at Avadi, BSNL Centre.Now i also received the Bill for the month of February.Kindly take the steps soon for deducting the extra amount, that i have paid in the bill.

Every time they are telling, it will take 1 week to activate. I have submitted my Passport, Rental Proof Agreement. I was frustated with the BSNL Service and HAL BSNL People.

                    I am a Custmor of BSNL Jharkhand circle..... After start of this tariff, I can/t send text messages......
                    I am in urgent need of sending message.... How i can get rid of this problem... I can't change my no due to various buissness constraints...This problem sucks

                    Iam using BSNL data card from twenty days ,at the time of connection ,bsng people assured me that suppose in your area your having a good network definetly you wil get 256 kbps of minimum data speed but now only icame to know that some times I wil get 100,140 kbps of speed this speed is very low . The same speed i wil get from my mobil.

                    BSNL's EVDO — Low Internet Speed

                    I have purchased BSNL's EDVO 2 months before...they said the speed will b upto 3MBPS...but i never got speed more thn 1MBPS...n that only once...normally it gives 600 kbps...when i complained this to BSNL they instead of making any solution told me that "u r getting such service at a low rate and also compare with other modem like tata photon+ etc..."
                    so wht's d solution for that
                    I got bsnl evdo connection before 6 months (Ahmedabad)...bsnl advertisement says u will get upto 2 mbps speed, but i never get more then 256 kbps, this is very rubbish internet connection, Now i very regret to purchase usb evdo dongle worth Rs. 4300, do not purchase this government internet service, pls go and purchase internet connection from Some Private Company.

                        I, Manoj Chandra Gaur recharged my phone on 5th January,2010 eve. and after that I tried to make a call on my wife's Mob. No.[protected], but the remarks I get is the dialled number does not exists please check the number and dial again, I call on customer care department of BSNL on 6th January, 2010 evening and the executive told me that the problem is due to network problem and automatically resolved after 24 hrs. I also email on 8 th January to CMD.BSNL, GM, BSNL and GM(IT) Bsnl, but till the date no reply was received. It is also impossible on BSNL customer care service to talk with Senior Executive Officer, for that I have waited for 15-20 minutes, but nobody picks up my phone on 9/1/2010.

                        I again book a complaint on wireless customer care centre on 9th January, 2010 at 10.29 AM and my docket No. is 6084402. I again make a call on 10/1/2010 to customer care in the evening and ask about my problem and got a reply that the problem is still under process, when I told to the customer care representative to kindly forward my call to Senior Executive he forwarded my call but the same problem I waited for 15-17 minutes but again nobody picks up my phone.

                        Sir, I would also like to inform you that the number mentioned above i.e. [protected] is a valid number and I am daily receiving a call from the same number and talking on the same number with other phone also.

                        kindly resolve my problem.

                          Since last 3 months BSNL has changed my hellotune without my consent. Also BSNL updating it every month & charging the fees.

                          I am using Bsnl mobile network since 2009 & my sim number is +91 [protected]

                          Bsnl claims its mobile internet gprs speed upto 100Kbps for its Internet recharge plans e.g. [protected]@Rs 98 etc, but actual speed which i am getting is only 9Kbps (Nine kilobytes per second) i.e. only 9% of actual speed of my internet plan for which i am charged.

                          I would specially like tell a fact that:
                          I get low speed when i Recharge a data plan, On using internet WITHOUT any DATA PLAN i.e. using internet in "exchange of my BALANCE/per KB" with the same equipments (my sim &mobile etc) at the same place speed is minimum "300Kbps and upto 750Kbps."

                          Only when i recharge with a free Data plan then speed decreases to 8Kbps & "within a minute after expiry of my data plan"( by one month complete or free data limit over) speeds jumps backs to 300-750Kbps as mentioned above.

                          I called at customer care service about this,they said that my complaint is booked and this will be solved within 24 to 48 hours and cut my call.
                          Still after 5 days there is no any solution not even any kind of response.

                          Bsnl exchange building with mobile tower is at distance of single streets from my home,

                          From above facts I hope that their isn't any kind of network problem or sever down etc etc... because i am regularly facing all this for each single day of each month since last 3 years.

                          I paid for speed upto 100 Kbps and Network is so perfect to provide such Very very high speed of 300 Kbps to 750 Kbps, then why my speed is LOACKED to "9 Kbps"??? This is only "1.2 % of Network capacity & 9% of speed i paid for."

                          Bsnl should Stop cheating by removing their speed lock and give my right for a nice speed for which i paid.

                            I'm very upset with the service of BSNL Broadband!
                            I'm Rajiv kumar shah, S/o Lakshmi prasad shah, a Student of Fashion design, and for the same per-pus I,took the BSNL Broadband connection For my studies, and my plan is 750plus Unlimited.
                            The Problem is that, SIr/Mam- I'm getting the speed of my Broadband connection like 1.5kbps, 2.00kbps, 2.9kbps, 3.5kbps and so on....
                            Sir/Mam,
                            Kindly tell me that how can I,continue my research and My assignments with speed like this? and My Finel Show is going to be held in March and, I'm not doing anything and I'm very upset for this! In-fact I, went to my concern telephone exchange (I've to bunk my classes!! for this!) but the problem is as it were!
                            They didn't provide me the Special cable of Broadband! then I, tried to connect with the Customer care officer but It's also very-very difficult to connect with the customer care officer of BSNL! Anyhow I,got connected with customer care and told them my problem and they assured me that the problem wil be solved shortly, But nothing happened!

                                  We dont have any bills overdue. But whenever we make a call, it says - "Your telephone charges are overdue".

Airtel is not capable of handling land line connections either its wireless connection o wired connection. inspite of paying the bills on time the company's system is so poor tht they cannot see the payment reflection. they keeps bothering customers by giving calls at odd ours. with out the permission of the custommer they will send people at your doorstep to bother people. if your set gets some problem there is no place where u can get it done.

                                  Sir, Iam a subsriber of BSNL in Kerala for 16 years.I had lodged several complaints (Z-198-, E232, E851 dated 4/8/11, P-240 dated 24/08/11...).The most complaints are 1.speech problem, 2.range problem etc.Actually iam now the wll subsriber[protected] as i was shifted my house.At that time they were lying us by telling the benefits of wll connection and also promised that this is temporary and will give the landline immediatly but didn't got yet and iam not satisfied with this plan.I was fully satisfied with my old BSNL landline connection[protected]. I had been calling to BSNL several times, but not responding.Iam paying the bills regularly and the rents advancely. So iam humbly request you to give the BSNL landline connection as early as possible.

                                    I am a regular customer of BSNL landline since 1996 bearing phone no.[protected] residing in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
                                    I was satisfied with the services of BSNL until suddenly I received bills which were almost double of the routine bills I use to get.
                                    I have shown it in the following table.

                                    • The majority of the calls are made during the period when no one o[censored]s are at home
                                    • All four members of my family are on their routine academic / office work, during day time and the house is locked.
                                    I tried to convey this to the BSNL office at Aurangabad but unfortunately I could not get response, which is against the reputation of BSNL customer care.
                                    I hope you being the authorities will kindly instruct the concerned officers in Aurangabad to look in to the matter.

                                    I have also made complaint about wrong bills, non-receipt of etc, ultimately i referred to CMD by email in April'10 but still no reply. Till May '10 cheques were accepted from 2 pm to 5 pm and in morning hrs from 10 am to 2 pm both cash and cheques accepted. There was separate counter was existing. Only yesterday i received mobile bills.today is last day of payment. Also when inquired about land line bill it was told for may '10 yet bills not sent nor data available for duplicate bills. Whatever we ask they advise you approach higher authority.Now only Delhi level seems inspite of reminders they are habitual in calling reports without decision. What to do?

                                    We have internet connection (BSNL Data one broadband) at the landline number[protected] at Office of The Assistant Director, Drug Control Laboratory, Food and Drug Administration, M.S., Aurangabad. We have tried to install the new software UTFwUploaderApp offered by BSNL website on our terminal. But the modem at this number failed to connect at the time of installation. though our modem is well connected with the PC and our internet connection is functioning well, still there is such a message "could not detect the modem". Also the email id provided to this number is [protected]@bsnl.in and its password is "password". This email account has failed to open when tried to login.

                                    So it is requested to solve both of these problems immediately so that we can function well.

If the BSNL is not in a position to supply the bills at the residence of the Customer, they may very well give certain discount for picking up the duplicate copy of the bill and paying the bill in time every month.

                                      Repeated sms has been going out from my MOBILE no. inspite of delivery report showing message waiting. First the customer care told me to make some changes which i tried to no positive outcome. Finally even changed my hand set, still the same problem persits. its been more than a month now .This is causing additional expense to me and mental agony to me and my contacts to whom i send the sms to.
