Alas!!,

any more humanity left with you guys??? .
My mom had a fitts attack at the billing counter at vadapalani big bazzar, it was quite severe, and she lost conscience. How ever we managed to pay the bills, and take her to the car, in the useless wheel chair, which did not move. The security stopped me, while taking her into the ambulance, and asked me to show the bill for the extra, mango drink, that was given to her by the staff, when she was unconcious. (I was at the height of despair) i had to shout at the security guy, for his unsympathetic behaviour.( The drink was collected from her hand by the sales team and billed). I purchased around 6000 INR , and still being called a theif by a security guy?? When will we people learn , courtesy, manners, and CUSTOMER SERVICE ?

Long way to go for us, in comparison to wht i see in developed countries.. [censored]in manager was standin besides the security who entered into a quarrel with me, and didnt try to stop him. The stupid security claimed " You take it free, but tell me and take it, why do you steal it?" A**, i wanted to murder him that instant, but due to my situation handling my mom, i did not want to develop the fight. Visiting India from abroad, travelling in a luxury car, how d hell did he feel, i would steal 20rs worth of mango drink???

We still have a long way to go, a country without humanity and respect for fellow citizens can not go any where.

    Yesterday i have been at big bazaar ,cement road chennai. to procure the items for the bill amount Rs 785 , First i gave my debit card of to sweep r .He twice entered my number in sweep machine ,he conformed me later there is decline in connection then i payed in the form of cash , Today morning crossed checked my balance Rs 785 as been detected . Secondly i have not sign the debit card receipt of the amount Rs 785

      Most unprofessional people and service

      If you ever dream of have a good house and are thinking of getting an interior designer, dont even think of HomeTown Design and Services. Its a joke they are running out there in the name of design.
      I fell into this trap. I paid rs.10000 for interior designing services from them and what I got in return was crap work and complete unprofessionalism.

      Hi,
      I would like to bring to your notice that I have puchased Koryo washing machine switch of which is not working, It is under warranty , I have called several times service center number in Nasik. Incidently In nashik there is service center ( managed by Harish ) whose Boss ( Prashant ) he sits in Mumbai. My complaint kept shuttling between both for last two months and no progress.

      They say that Big Bazar main service center Bangalore in not responding.

      Can Big Bazar not be panalized for promising customer , selling product but not giving any service.

      Please do not purchase Koryo product, Big Bazar is just cheating customers .

      I have given up, writing with a hope that it may l work and someone gives me service.

      Recently i purchased a Lee Cooper shoe from BIgBazar in bangalore (nagashetali)..for ur information the shoe was faulty the colour of the shoe started turning from blak to white at places where the wrinkles occur...and even the shoe is not of lee cooper standard in terms of comfort it makes a knock while knocking which makes a lot of discomfort..whn informed this to the customer care of BB he just refused saying that the shoe cannot be replaced.

      also i had bought a water purifier from eureka forbes from the same BB(bigbazar) and it turned to be faulty too...when asked for replacement they replaced with an old purifier...well i should have learnt a lesson not to visit BigBazar again...

      BB is making heavy profits by selling worst grade low quality products for higher price " isse sasta aur ganda kahi nahi"...

      Request all u guys not to visit BigBazar ...i[censored] visit u will end up like me...visit at ur own risk..

        Dear Sir,
        Today I have purchased from Big Bazaar, Vijayawada with bill number T17/1238 dated 9-9-09. The goods were delivered in the carry bag printed with one side Big Bazaar-other side as Easy cabs. The carry bag emitted very bad smell. Please look into the matter

          The Staff at Mobile counter on 1st floor of Big Bazaar - Kothrud, Pune - they care least for their customers.

          Yesterday,On 6th Sept'09, I have taken a new Aircel SIM card for Rs.99 and even requested for a Top-Up of Rs.98 (for unlimited browsing) and I paid the amount for Rs.197 for the same.
          The guy at the Mobile counter (Mobile counter is on 1st floor of Big Bazaar - Kothrud,Pune) promised me that the recharge and Top-Up will be done within 30 minutes.
          But, after several calls made to them and now after one day, they say that the server was down since long and their rude answer is that - "Come and collect your money".

          Aircel Customer Care says there is no server down on their side and tried a recharge from outside - it is good.

          Delay in Service and false commitments

          The staff of Big Bazar (kothrud) is absolutly useless and dont have the basic manners as to how to attend the customers...

          On 10th July 2010 I book a TV Unit of 6999/- against which they have taken an advance cheque with a promise to deliver the product within a week. that means they were suppose to deliver the unit till 17th or 18th...but once they got the payment they were least bothered about the delivery of the product.they didn't even call for a single time to confirm whether we received the product or not...

          at the time of purchase they told us that they dont hv the same piece (which we like) available with them hence cant deliver it before 7 days. and now after 10 days they are saying that till the time our cheque get realised they wont be able to deliver the product. (Chq has been realised on 17th but not updated in there system...)again lacking on their part) this shows their way of working and nobody's supervision on them
          I urge public not to buy such stuff from these so called Big Malls or else u will get cheated

          BIG BAZAAR — delay in service

          HI,

          I had purchased a washing machine on 21st january with the promise from the staff that, the product would be delivered by 1pm on 22nd january. I had clearly informed them i would be travelling on 22nd, so make sure you deliver it on time otherwise, i can check somewhere else due to my time constraints.
          On 22nd, they i had to call them to find out my delivery status. after calling them 5-10 times, they say they would deliver it by 145.. i wait and wait, at 2 i call them, they say another 15 mins more, and then their driver calls and says 1 more hour.. i called their manger and informed, he says he can;t do anything about it... how useless is their service??

          i need compensation for my calls, missing my flight and false promise.

            I asked Big Bazaar store personnel that I need a large bed and I was told to buy a King-Size bed. Then I was shown a packed bed and was told that this was a king size bed (72"*75"). It was late in night (around 9.30 pm), thus trusting store personnel I purchased it and made payment via debit card. The full purchase was of a double bed (ECOBED) and pair of mattress for Rs. 10000 only (Advance Receipt #[protected] dated 07/08/2009) with assured delivery on next day. The delivery was delayed by one day. On delivery, I found that instead of pair of mattress I was supplied with one large mattress with size of 60”*75”. I was puzzled and called big bazaar about the issue immediately. I was told that the size of mattress delivered is same as purchased. On asking that mattress even if it is a single piece cannot fit on large bed of size 72”*75”. They replied that I had purchased a queen-size bed (60”*75”). I told them that there has been a communication gap and I bought a king size bed (72”*75”). Later after many frantic calls, I was called to store where I met Mr. Sunil Dhyani (Floor manager of Big Bazaar – Furniture Section). Mr. Dhyani was cordial enough, listened my woes, and said that he will arrange for a replacement bed subject to terms that I should bear all the additional payment for new bed. After many, more calls and store visits, finally Big Bazaar people picked up delivered bed on September 5th, 2009. I am still waiting for replacement bed. I have practically called Mr. Dhyani (Mobile No. [protected]) every day since the Aug 9th 2009 and even visited the store 6-7 times. Each time I was sent back with an assurance to wait for some more days. Now one month has passed from the original date of purchase. I am unable to understand how unethical business practices these people follow. I want refund of my payment along with applicable interest.

              I'm disappointed by the Customer Care service and other staff at the electronics section of your big bazaar store in Ambeince Mall, Gurgoan. I have bought an HP printer (HP deskjet F4288) on Sep.2, 2009 for which the electronic section's staff told me that i'll get both black and color cartridge inside the printer but the cartridge was not there in the printer. It is also mentioned on the box of the printer that it contains both black and color cartridge. When my father went there again to complain about this, he didn't get any good response from both the staff and the Customer Care. They are not ready to accept their mistake and saying that its not thier responsibility, they have given a packed printer. Whether the printer was not seal packed when we bought it. They sealed it in front o[censored]s.

                Unfortuneatly I visited this site after experiencing delays and mismanagement from HOMETOWN Ahmedabad. If I had visited it before I wouldn't have ordered from or visited HOMETOWN Ahmedabad at all.

                So thing goes like this

                Part 1

                We went to hometown and intially decieded and booked a sofa, double bed, wardrobe and tv cabinet and paid 15% of the bill, before payment we confirmed that we can cancel order within 4 days if we want and can have credit note for 15% payment we already did. After 1 day we decided to cancel the sofa and TV cabinet as it wasn't fitting to our home situation. So to cancel the half of the order we had talk to at least 5 person and had to explain them what was promised and all the story why we don't want it. fortunately head of the department was cooperative and canceled the order and we paid in full for double bed and wardrobe ( to keep his side safe he didn't cancel the order from his system. he was saying that cancel order gets refelected to head office blah blah blah) (I smelled that on that day, he hasn't really canceled the order but i thought okay as long as we don't have to pay)

                Part 2
                Delivery was promised to be done by 26th Aug. On 25th we got call saying that we have payment to do
                so again i had to explain him whole story and he said okay we will deliver it by 26 aug. on end of the day 26th no news from hometown, we called them up, and they said ohh we will be delivering it by 27th Aug.
                Same guy called me back withing few mins saying we have payment to do again i explained him whole story and got acknowledgment from him that i will get my things by 27th.

                Untill 30th the story went the sameway, and finally after so many calls and explanation we got the stuff we had ordered at night 9:00 PM. (I don't consider this time as delivery time). At 9:00 pm guys came with 407 truck fully loaded with all sort of big boxes and surprisingly not knowing which stuff belongs to which customer. After talking to them i found out that they are not enough literate (not at all their fault labels could have been done properly and in local lang, only one side label was in Gujarati) to read labels in english and none of the orders where in any order so we I had jump into their truck (they requested for this) figured out what belonged to me.


                Now here comes the part that get me to this site, today 2nd september, till now noone from Hometown has come to the fitting of the furniture. As per the bills and other docs it is within 48 hours. so far it has been double than that. Surprisingly none of the time Hometown staff or anyone from Hometown calls up and says that we are going to come at so and so date or it will be delivered within this time and on this date. Everytime we have to give them call to hear their false promises and execuses

                All I can say this will be my first and last experience with HomeTown. I would not go to Mr. Kishore Biyani's little shop who just like to write books 'It happened in India' saying understanding customer is priorit this and that. what a ***********.

                Home Town — Late Delivery of Order, mismanagement and inconvenience

                Hi,

                I purchased an LG Microwave from Home Town in Great India Place Noida on Thursday (2nd October).
                It was not there in their stock and they said it will be available the next day (Friday, 3rd October). Since we needed to gift the microwave to someone, we said we will take it with us instead of getting it delivered. They made a made a Lay Way receipt for us.

                The next day when we went to collect the Mircrowave, the microwave had still not reached them. They comitted that they will get it delivered to us the next day (Saturday). We really needed it the next day (Saturday) as it was to be gifted that day. We asked them if they would deliver it to Delhi in that case. They committed to deliver it to us in Delhi on Saturday between 3pm to 3.30 pm. But on calling them on Saturday, they informed that since we had a Lay Way Reeipt they will not be able to deliver it until we show the bill to the guard.

                Now we were at a location from where it would have been very inconvenient for us to go back to Noida. And they did not have a solution for it. We had to call them repeatedly for one hour. They had been saying they will get back within ten minutes, but never got back. I am sitting here writing this complaint while the Home Town management is still struggling to find to find a solution.

                Please take stringent action against this mismanagement and lack of training to staff who commit without knowing the processes, to keep adding to the company's bottomlines.

                I also need a compensation for the harassment and the inconvenience caused. And also the phone bills and petrol bills.
                I would advice customer NOT TO BUY PRODUCT FROM HOME TOWN, KOLKATA. They are the biggest cheater in Kolkata. I have ordered a dinning table under Advance Receipt No: [protected] dt. 28/08/2011 which was supposed to deliver within 3 days. Right now it is more than 20 days and there is no sign of delivery or status report from their end. We have tired of calling again and again. As per my last correspondance, they asked me to send email at ht.[protected]@futuregroup.co.in requesting for refund. Now they guys are kept neglecting my email and not ready to provide the refund against non-delivery of product.

                HOW CAN SUCH A BIGGEST CHEATER SURVIVE ?? I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE SUCH PATHETIC SERVICE FROM FUTUREGROUP.

                  the salesman promised to deliver and install the furniture within two or three days and the date mentioned is only for paper work.the product came after one week and has not been installed yet after repeated request.the salesman(Sarvesh kumar mobile no.[protected] from Big Bazaar, Inox, Lucknow) now stopped receiving the phone.

                  Big Bazar Bathinda manager is a big cheat.Keeping Identity Cards in their pocket is just a show off. communication with customers is very blunt & rude. For their financial gain & targets they mislead customers. Exchange Offer is just a mockery.Thousands of rupees a day is bloaked as a cheating fund.Big Bazar Organisers have to shunt out such staff & clear communication be made so they are not cheatd.Raddi @ Rs 7/Kg is better than no claim given by big bazar & imposing collection & Rs 30/Kg.Distribute clothes to poor instead of getting no claim fropm big bazar Bathinda.Consumer Forum may see to it & save the consumers from frauds. Income Tax raids be imposed to check all brouchers & zero profit shown in books. All consumers must unite & raise their voice against bhatinda Big Bazar.

                      Hi,

                      I bought a shoe rack from home town and as promised, Item was delivered at my door step with in 2 days but item was not what I ordered. It was of different colour. When we complained (customer care person prakash ) they said in a day they will deliver the correct item and then take position of the old one. But very next day a lady named Reshma called and stated on return of old item, new item will be delivered which will take another 3-4 days.. But I was not convinced so I declined and asked to deliver the correct item and take back to old one. But till now I am waiting for their call.
                      Please suggest what to do ??

                        On 25 august 2009 i bought a packet of 500g Al-Fruit dates from
                        BIG BAZAAR <PANTALOON RETAIL <I> LTD>
                        Pacific Taj, Plot No.3E, Taj Nagri Scheme, Phase1, Fatehabad road AGRA-282001
                        having Item name:TARRAGON for Rs.80.At home i found out that the packet has got two packaging dates on it.One is 20 August 2009 and the other is 25 May 2009.i bought these dates for my wife who is a cancer patient and is on a restricted diet and is supposed to have fresh products.i cannot take the risk of giving these dates to my wife as i am not sure of the quality and i specially came to agra from mathura to buy it for her and at the age of 77 it is quite difficult for me to travel.Itried to contact the customer care cell number on the packet but there was no response.I hope to get due justice as soon as possible

                          I had bought a Gas Stove on 15th August which was on offer and I was told that they will deliver me by around 17th August. After they failed to deliver it on 17th, I called them up on 18th and I was told that it will be delivered on 18th. I waited the whole day but again they failed to deliver...it happened on 21st, 22nd and today 23rd again...but still I haven't received it. I suffered from their inability to deliver because, my gas stove wasn't working and we have been eating out since past one week because of this. I have a 1 year old, and he suffered from this the most, since I prefer to feed him only home cooked food. So, basically, I suffered both emotionally and financially.

                          I have purchased a bunk bad from Bigbazar, Bharuch, gujarat on 25 th Jan. They told me to deliver within 15 days. on saturday 30th jan they called me that they will come at home to deliver and remain at home. in evening they again called that we are coming and continuously they called me four times. at 9o.m. they called me that we are not coming now, but on sunday we will come by evening . I waitel till night and remained at home leaving all my outsider work, but they did'nt come. then i called them, but they did not responded well and told me that we will sent it to you on monday(you don't go outside). But same history repeated and on tuesday they left the bed and told that we will join the apareparts by night. But no body came till this date. I called many times, but they reply the same thing that we will come tomorrow. If they want to take complete the same within fifteen days than why should they tell me everytime to come and not to leave my residence. Since five day I am not doing any other work because of them als i am not going outside the home. Today i told to manager about it and he is replying that we will do it within two days. I f they will take completely 15 days, then why should they harrase me everyday and spoiling my work. this is totally the harrasement from them. My children are also awaitng for that and each time they are asking when will they come. I am also tire by giving assurance to my children because of them. I have been cheated by them as I am not able to do anything as I have paid them in advance. They called me 20 times in total and harrasing me. So I request all my Indian people, please purchase everything from outside, youwill get big discount instaed of Bigbazar and very good service. Big bazar never give any service and their managers behave rudely with the customers. So, please never climb the speps of Bigbazar.

                            I have purchased furniture from Big Bazaar Aurangabad. Initially they did the booking, took payment & sent material barring a TV Trolly saying that they do not have the stock. Why did they book the order then?
                            Next...they delayed the decision about replacement.
                            When they agreed to give something else, I paid Rs 750 as the additional cost of the item on 24.07.09. This time they told me it will be delivered within 2-3 days but till date no delivery was given.
                            I had also purchased a study chair which they have not assembled till date.

                              I read about big sale offering at big bazar in news paper for 5days.I went there and found that they r offering buy one get one free on TOPS PICKLE at the mrp printed Rs 130 on it.I took 2 Kg pickle at the price of Rs 130.00.
                              When i go to the local market next day i found the same TOPS PICKLE of 1 KG is selling in market at offering price of Rs70.And the mrp printed on it is Rs86.00.
                              So at big bazar they malfunction with mrp on the product and then offering discount on it with saying that only we can give u that kind of discount.That is totally what i say is like they r fooling us or u can say they r cheeting us .

                                Today I visited the Thane Big Bazar with a gift voucher (Rs. 250 x 6). Did a shopping of Rs 2800 odd (bill no - MUM 001687), I presented the voucher for redemption. I was told it has expired.

                                The gift voucher has no validity date or expiry date.
                                As a customer I can't read bar codes.. I have a voucher that doesn't have a issue date and I want it to be redeemed.

                                On enquiry at the customer service desk the representative agreed to the mistake but he said he is unable to help or process the voucher, even though on the system is it is showing expired only in July. Voucher series [protected]/81/82/84 & so on

                                Its money which Big Bazaar has take without offering any goods, their system simply cannot hold advance payments taken for vouchers. A voucher is as good as currency (with infinate validity if not having date!)

                                Even though the customer service staff at the thane counter where not helpful, I have a resolution on my problem. After I wrote to the company, the validity of my vouchers has been restored and now I can redeem them.
                                The problem could have been solved at the store itself and I would have saved 20 days, nevertheless the corporate CS team was helpful.

                                I HAVE GIFT VOUCHER COUPANS WORTH OF 3000/-.OF DATE[protected].THROUGH AND OVERSIGHT VALIDITY OF THE SAME HAS AN END ON[protected][SIX MONTHS VALIDITY] .NOW WHE I VISITED TO GET THE CHANGE THE SAME CUSTOMER CARE OF SEVENSEAS MOLE FATEHGUNJ REPLYA THAT THIS COUPANS ARE OF NO USE.I WAS SHOCKED ON HEARING THIS.THIS IS CHEATING.THIS MAY HAPPEN TO BIGBAZAAR PEOPLE THAT SOME THING REMAIN IN THE POKET AND VALIDITY OVER.BUT REFUSING TO REIMBURSE OR EXXCHANGE THE SAME FOR WHICH I HAVEN'T PURCHASE ANY THING IS NOT AT ALL FAIR.THIS IS NOT AN EATABLE OR ELECTRONIC ITEMS.

                                THIS IS FRAUD AND CHEATING ON THE PART OF SUCH A LARGE GROUP NAMED "FUTURE BAZAAR" I HOPE I GET EARLY REFUND MY MOB NO-[protected].OR I WILL GO TOTHE COURT OF LAW AND GET IT PUBLISH IN NEWS PAPER ALSO.

                                  I booked the TV Stand bearing part no '[protected]' - description - 'AV001WL/UN Ameri.Honey' on 26/07/2009 & they have promised me the delivary on 31/07/2009 & paid the full amount on the same day & got the Advance receipt also from them.

                                  Till to-day I have not received the item & everyday I am contacting one person Mr Dhananjay (mobile no [protected]) he is informing me that, I am speaking to my godown & will call you in another 2 minutes. That 2 minutes never realized anytime. Last satarday (08/08/2009) I call'd to his mobile 4 to 5 times, then he call'd me back & informed me that, the referred item is not at all there in the stock & will provide the different item & will speak to godown colleagues & will inform me. Whenever I am calling from my mobile he is not taking the call & not delivaring the item.

                                  I am herewith attaching the bill for the same.

                                  Please suggest me what I need to do.

                                    This is regarding ICICI Future Card held by My husband (Mr Mihir Shah)
                                    We had recd some coupon booklet along with ICICI Credit card for various Future Group Outlets including a 3% discount coupon on food valid from May'09 to Oct'09 (attached herewith)
                                    Likewise we went to Big bazaar Kandivali and made out first puchase in May sometime.

                                    Second time i.e on 31st July'09 Friday i went to big bazaar at Mega Mall-oshiwara (the worst staff ever needs training badly)
                                    And they insist me to submit the same coupon which has validity till Oct'09 on multiple purchases.

                                    I had to make 10 different people understand thats its valid on multiple purchase and u need not tear it but none did understand simple english written on the coupon.
                                    T hey wasted my 45 mins and on top of that they said we have given 10% discount instead but we'll have to take the coupon.Now what does this mean? I never asked for it.
                                    Finally they wrote something like"one time redeemed" on the coupon and gave it back.

                                    And how is it that the people at Kandivali Big bazaar no one asked for coupon and Here 10 people came to argue about the same thing.

                                    It was really disapponting that such a big name and such an untrained staff who couldnt use the Till machines properly neither credit cards machines and also didnt understand the basic terms and conditions mentioned on their own coupon.
                                    And on top of that even after writing to their customer service, havent got any response from them.

                                    Hope MAnagement will take some effective measures and fix such problems faced by us Customers and save our time and energy.

                                    i got a delivery from future group this evening.and it was written there for indentification proof.i don't have my pancard at home, its in the office, so i showed my BMC id. but that man just rejected it and was not even ready to accept it as an identification proof.when i enquired about it, he went away without even saying his courier agency's name.this is terrible and the people delivering these cards should better know that the BMC is well recognized and so are their employees.kindly look into this mattwer as soon as possible.

                                      Intrigued by sprawling super market malls introduced for the first time in my residential area, I have been shopping all my household needs from gym, air conditioners to furniture dresses to grocery from Big Bazaar stores in Hiland Park, Bagha Jatin, and pantaloons gariahat. I did some shopping from Future Bazaar through internet as well. The total value of such products exceeds over half a million Indian rupees for the past five years. I have kept most of receipts though receipt print on thermal paper faded away. I even did not visit the traditional shops from where we shopped for generations. However, at the end of the day I have only regrets for such switch over.

                                      Your product quality is not good to say the least. I purchased a computer table rejecting my traditional table made of solid wood. Its wheels broke within a few days; table shakes as if the earth is having quake all the time. Externally gorgeous looking dining set that I purchased, gave me disgrace of life. One of my lady guests, an illustrious face of a famous electronic media house fell down while dining. The expensive home gym rope’s synthetic cover came out blocking the pulleys. I was demonstrating in front of my guests and when the pulleys did not move, I had only blushes for my distinguished callers.

                                      However, I must admit when I brought all these to the notice of BB Bagha Jatin store manager Mr Ajay Bhandary, he immediately looked into it. Repair personnel came and patch work was done. The Computer table still shakes despite replaced wheels. Repaired dining table has not disgraced me yet; may be because I have dining alone on the table now. The gym repair staff frustrated me most; he removed a small section of the ropes’ cover promising to replace the whole string soon. The man did not turn up.

                                      Now I notice Koryo toaster brought from BB stores is also not working though it was very sparingly used.

                                      All the products I mentioned were brought within last eight/ten months.

                                      With heavy heart and shocked mind, I have no intention to visit Big Bazaar stores again. I am thinking that people at large should know what happened to me for trusting Big Bazaar so blindly. But before that I thought you should know my plight to.

                                      I have no expectations of any redresaal from Big Bazaar shopping system.

                                      I also agree that in this particular bigbazar outlet the quality of of goods ae poor like I have purchased a pair of DJ & C brand shoes which was having problem since starting.
