Defective wall clock received and refund is not getting processed

Hi,
I purchased a wall clock from home centre’s iOS app and received a defective product on 16th March. I wrote emails, did chat on their online portal, and contacted through their toll free number ( that is useless), but nothing happened. Today, I visited their store (present in Gaur City Mall, Greater Noida West, 201009) and waited for 3 hours to get this resolved. Initially, they checked the product and agreed that a refund in cash will be given today itself, but after sometime they refused and started blaming me. I had to leave that product there and return without my money. This is a total scam where they have created online platform to sell defective products without any resolution on their part. I would never order anything from this company again. Please help me get the refund of Rs 1999 from them as contacting them again will be of no help to me.

This is regarding a bed that I purchased from your west Delhi store and was delivered on 8th March 2021 without the threads (nuts) which join the bed with the headrest. I immediately complained and was given 26th march as the date for delivery of threads and instead was sent a headrest again without the threads. I called again on 26th March to register my complaint and was waiting for a reply until 5th April when I called again only to be told that my complaint was never registered on 26th March. So I complain again and my complaint no. is 59719. In between the bed started making loud creaking noises which I mentioned in my complaint and an executive came from the home center to check the bed only to see that that the board has sunk in. It can break also. He made videos and so did we. Your executive calls me and asks for another 10-12 days. The final date given was 26th April 2021 to which I was not agreeing and your executive was supposed to get back on the next day which again never happened. Then I get a call on 25th April 2021 from this number +91-[protected] asking for another ten days and behaving as if nothing can be done and they don't even care. Don't give me a covid excuse as that is now but my complaint started from 8th March 2021. Also, your customer care complaint form doesn't seem to work. Shows an error every time. Is that on purpose?
Is this how it works? My husband and I are having the most uncomfortable sleep on this noisy bed and we didn't buy this bed for all these problems. The bed box can break at any time and there could be an injury. I want a resolution ASAP or I shall take legal action. Also, I want compensation for the waste of time and the inconvenience we are going through. This is the mail I have been sending to home centre.

This sofa was purchased on 15/3/2020. INVOICE [protected].
Then Corona Lockdown happened for months.
The leather sofa at one spot is peeling off. Home Center executive comes inspects and says its a product problem.
Homecenter closes the complaint on 8Mar21 as usage issue.
Product is leather. It is not torn. It is peeling. This is also happeneing at another area of the sofa. To prove this is product issue.
Home center stating without any discussion with custiomer and showing its a usage problem. UNILATERALLY closes the complaint.

Refund issue with cancelled product

I have cancelled my order immediately next day as my dining space is not enough for the dining set which i ordered, i have requested for refund and the mail team has accepted for the same, they said will send the mail with the link to update the bank details but no mail from them. called customer service multiple times and sent couple of mails for the same. once i got reply saying to check in spam mails, checked the same but no mail from homecentre .could you please help in refunding the amount as its huge amount for me.i have all the mail proofs and the conversation. invoice where i brought the product.its mental torture everytime calling customer care and sending mail to help center.if i call customer care center they tell us to mail to mail id.so its repeating the process but not resolving the issue.please help in this regard.

I placed order for "montaya small dining bench" through online in home center for rs. 2556.50 on 09 aug 2020 - 04:52 pm. My order number is [protected]. I paid the full amount using my debit card on 09 aug 2020. The promised delivery date is 31.08.2020 or earlier.
Whereas till date the company "home center" has not delivered my order. I have written complaints in their customer portal and in their call center. However no action has been taken by them.
It has collapsed my day to day affairs since 31.08.2020. It gave me mental anxiety. Kindly help to resolve my problem. I also need a compensation of rs. 1.00 lakh towards this grievance which has made me depressed leading to unhealthiness.

Not delivering product on time
I have ordered three products from home centre online on 15th of june 2020. It was supposed to be delivered on 5th july 2020. After this date i approached customer care service they said you will get it by 14th july coz they have started their delivery on 7th of july. I said ok accepted... Then after this date i have again contacted them, from their onwards they have started giving excuses... I have all the complain numbers and names of people with whom i spoke and are highly unprofessional people who are sitting in customer care center... First complain no...561209, 567298, 5710771... I spoke to laxmi, rajesh, mani and many more... Then i have 581244 n name of person is anita…. Then on 10th aug i again spoke to them with complain no 643649 but they have given me same excuse that thy will escalate the matter to delivery team,... But all in vain... Coz they will not be doing anything and will be coming up with more excuses... So now as a customer who is being mentally harassed by home centre want my money back..

Torn cloth and bad packing

I purchased 3 seater sofa from Subash Nagar Home center on Feb 2020. It was delivered to transporter at Delhi on 2 July and I received it on 10 July 2020. The packing was ordinary when I was promised double bubble packing as it was to be delivered Srinagar. The sofa cloth was torn couple of places. cancellation of online order

I ordered a sofa through app and my order no is [protected] i have been trying to cancel this order since i ordered the same sofa from the showroom due to availability of colour. I paid for both sofa in full through credit card and i owe the card now. I called customer care for cancellation and they are asking me to refuse the product at the time of delivery and mentions it is their standard practice or process. This sounds ridiculous. No where we see a customer is instructed to wait till delivery to cancel the order. If i make the payment to my credit card i will be out of pocket as i have paid twice the same amount. Also once the cancellation amount reverses i will be paid only to the card and not as a cheque or to a different account.

Ordered bed, dining table and chest online on 22-nov. Bed was delivered in a broken state. A complaint was logged by homecentre carpenter on that day with pics.
Complain no: 229199
They have been asking for 48hrs every single day and never come back with a response. If i call the service center/ call center, they ask for another 48hrs each time. Now on the latest call, they said it will take another 10-15days for the new bed to come and they cant cancel my order and refund the money.
I want to cancel my complete order and get a refund. I cant be without a bed for another 15days.

wrong delivery

There is a little confusion that has occured with me yesterday. Plz help. Me out as i am too much frustrated calling you people. And i didnt get much help.
I ordered on 1st dec. My order no - [protected]. My compaint no is 300759.
On 3rd i went out with my friend and bychance went to home centre store in dwarka. There i bought products worth 7500 and also bought the product that i ordered online, thinking i will return online orders after going home.
But i got a call from delivery guy and he insisted to. Me to take items. I said i am. Not at home. He said ask your ground floor aunty to take it. I told delivery guy to come today i. E 5th.
On 5th delivery guy came and i told him that i want to return the product. So he went back. But today on5th evening my aunty called my and said that yest. I. E on 4th the delivery guy came again and delivered only 1 single item which was bath mat og 250 rs. And gave bill 8f total 4 items ogmf 1065. Aunty paid the bill.
So now i am stuck wherein i only got forcefully 1 item out if 4 of rs 250 and paid 1065 and retured rest 3 items.
I want to return that 1 item amd want my cashback!!
It's your deliveey guy mistake.
1. Why he came again by his personal choice when i asked him. To come nect day.
2. Why he did not call. Me before takimg cash from my aunty. It was his responsibility to call. Me first and take my permission.
3. Why he gave total bill. Of 4 items - 1065 when ge gave only 1 item of 250 rs. Either he should have taken 250 rs or not delivered.
I am. Very much dishearted, shocked, frustrated with all this. I may complaint further if i didn't getmy solution asap and my total cashback!!

I bought a sofa on 22nd november 2018 which was not what i ordered so you changed it and sent a new piece after more than a month. Now today i called customer care to complain as the 3 seater sofa, one side of it totally went down. It got pressed.
Customer care is not even listening me they are only saying warranty over. I bought and paid emi s also for a month for your fault because you sent a faulty piece l, still i was ok with it. Now when again is faulty your customer care is not listening for a few hours delay as per old invoice not from the date i received the correct sofa piece. Warranty over with the first piece that too yesterday night 12 am. I called today morning. Anyways i'm talking about the second piece that i got after a month. That still has warranty.
Could some one do some thing on this urgently. The response from customer care is horrible.

complaint for overcharging for carry bags

Kindly let me know why a profit center like home center is charging rs 12 for a paper bag. It is not even a jute bag which people can reuse. Durability o[censored]r carrybags is quite of cheap quality than why a customer should pay exorbitant price for the same. When on diwali home center has so many gift buyers i suggest the money collected in the name of paper bags should be eradicated.

Bt when we opened the box it having only one item... My remaining 3 itmes were missed... And than i called to home centre but cant reached... Also through email... Bt they didnt respond as yet... Pls check at your end and give me rest of 3 itmes asap...

Called several times but its been 2 months but refund still pending. Such a big company which says we value our customers but on selling defective piece harass them by not paying back their money. I had purchased 2 rocking recliners (Berry make), on-line from home centre. This was delivered on 19th july 2019. One piece had a damage, which was immediately shown to the delivery person of home centre. He accepted the complaint and agreed to replace the damaged piece. I also got a call from home centre and agreed to look into it. They later informed me that they do not have stock of that type of recliner and hence will take back and refund the amount. Since i wanted 2 similar type recliners, i told them that i will retain it, but requested them to repair the same. They informed that it cannot be repaired. So i requested for a reasonable discount for the damaged piece, which they agreed to look into. After 2 days, home centre representative called and told me that they will give a 10% discount. He informed that this may take a few days and assured me that he will let me know. Subsequently, i have visited the local home centre office 2 or 3 times, but nothing has opened so far. It is very painful to note the response of such a reputed concern like home centre. Please do the needful to get this sorted out.

crystal 6 seater dining table

I had bought a crystal 6 seater dining table. It was delivered to me on 6th july. However. The incomplete set was delivered. I was not aware of the incomplete set till the carpenter assembled all the parts except for the bench. It was then when i asked them then they told me that the hardware part was missing. They even told me that it will take 8 to 10 days as the hardware has to come from malaysia. I did tell them that i am aware of things and they need not tell me the stories. I called up customer care and they told me that the complaint has been registered. I asked them to share the details in an email which they never did. I have been following up since yesterday and all i get to hear is that issue has been escalated and it will take 4 to 5 days for it to be resolved.
I had ordered the dining table from home centre with a purpose by trusting them. My purpose is completely gone for a toss. But, i am surprised by the behaviour of home centre. I did not know that they have also started behaving like any roadside shops wherein once the customer makes the full payment, they do not care for the customer.
I am requesting for the refund which they are refusing. It is disgusting to see such response from them.

mid size wardrobe refund issue

I had bought a wardrobe costing 8700 rupees at a homecentre store in visakhapatnam. It was told to me that the product would be delivered in 7 working days. However it had taken 3 weeks for delivery of the product and then after delivery they realised that it is broken. So the the product was kept at my home for a period of 3 more weeks saying that it would be taken back and a new piece would be delivered in a span of 10 days. Unless and until i approached customer care of homecentre everyday, they hadn't realised that the product was still at my home. After calling them and informing i was fed up with the service as the replacement with new product was also forgotten.
Calling them again and again with false delivery periods is a shame on such a big company with so many stores through out india. Finally after i cancelled for delivery for a product i could have gotten anywhere in a week and asked for a refund. I thought this atleast would happen in time. But still calling your customer care and they are not even aware about the product delivery back to storehouse and no clue about the refund status.
Now my real issue is the service being so so so poor and my money an amount of rs 8700/- being in homecentre's account for a period of more than two months. Whereas i could have gained a lot from that money instead of getting false hopes from a franchise called lifestlye homecentre.
I am still not getting any mails or messages from homecentre regarding my refund status or anything that would put an end to this case.
Since there is minimum support from the company i would like to now file a consumer complaint against homecentre (For info). Please try improving your service atleast after 100s of my calls.

I have regular customer of home shop since last many years, in my last visit dt 22.06.2019, i was looking for dinner set and while walking around, a dinner plate by chance touched my bag, fell & broke, i was not even holding that plate. But store manager, but store manager asked me to pay for plate and when i told him it that i was not even touching that plate, then he argued to pay for it, which i does. I did pay for plate approx rs 450 but that was unjustifies

I have purchased a dining table from home centre, gurugram since then i am facing various problem with this product. Around 2 month back i made a complaint on their given phone number, but they have not responded within the stipulated time period and when their engineer visited he had taken the photograph of the damaged chair and assured me that the same will be replaced as the product is in warranty period. The engineer told me that you will receive the update from the company itself within 48 hours. I made around 20-25 calls at their call centre every time i receive the response that the update will be given in 24 hours but of no use. I would like to mention here that quality of their product is very cheap and after sale service is very pathetic. Today i. E. On 23rd june, 2019 again i made a call at their call centre and got the response that they will not repair / replace the chair and the reason they have mentioned is reproduced below "further to your telephonic conversation with our team, we would like to inform you that we will not be able to assist you further on the recent complaint as the complaint is not of any manufacturing defect and issue is caused due to improper/ inadequate maintenance of the product." i don't understand since the last two months i am routinely contacting them and after that i receive the above status now you can think how irresponsible they are and how poorly they are maintaining their business and selling the cheap product to the customer and when the same get damaged they will give the above reply and that two after 2-3 months of complaint. worst experience ever. big time cheaters

Undoubtedly the worst services ever.
I didn't intend to, but unfortunately I had to use this platform to shake the irresponsible, casual and ignorant team of this organisation.
I had purchased few furniture items from the store on 12th May 2019. However I had to cancel a single item due to the space constraint. Thus I requested for cancellation and refund of thateli particular product. The request was made on 20th May 2019, before the scheduled delivery date which was fixed 25th May 2019.
Firstly the delivery was not done on the scheduled date. The product was a surprise gift to my Mom on her birthday. Homecentre made our special day miserable as we just kept coordinating for delivery but they didn't bother of our special occasion and casually apologized for non delivery.
This complaint was attended and delivery was done 2 -3 days later.
The product installation was delayed as the carpenter kept postponing the timings and finally landed in the evening wasting our entire day. The whole day we had to wait at home untill he arrives.
Product was not complete. Few parts were and are still missing. The same was noted and informed to the carpenter on the spot, however despite promising to fix the same within 24 hours till date we do not have any resolution.
Despite of paying the entire bill in advance. I have a incomplete product and homecentre is not at all bothered.
My refund request is still not honoured and I am waiting my hard earned money. Since 20th May 2019. I have made various calls to the helpline, written e-mails, but they have just one answer.
" We have taken down your request, please give us 24-48 hours to resolve the issue".
Homecentre is behaving ignorant and royally enjoying the interest of my funds parked with them.
Customer who has trusted the brand is now at the mercy of homecentre team and is in a situation where he is struggling to get refund of his own money.
This is the worst treatment ever. It loooks like this is with malicious intentions and personal interest of the brand or an individual employee.
This is certainly not expected from a brand like you. I demand immediate resolution and explanation to this.

I didn't intend to, but unfortunately I had to use this platform to shake the irresponsible, casual and ignorant team of this organisation.
I had purchased few furniture items from the store on 12th May 2019. However I had to cancel a single item due to the space constraint. Thus I requested for cancellation and refund of thateli particular product. The request was made on 20th May 2019, before the scheduled delivery date which was fixed 25th May 2019.

very poor service after sell from home center fahaheel kuwait
Since three month we have bought one set of sofa, dining table, and other tables. I had issues with the sofa since a month. They come to my home after two weeks. They took pictures of the sofa's arm with sponge gone inside. Cushions lost their shape. And they don't give any feed back. I wen my self after calling them so many times without any reply. They promise me to give me a call next day at 1300. They called me at 1700. With promises to come and replace the damages one. I got a call this tuesday, saying they will come on this saturday to replace them. I have called them twenty time no one pick the phone.
I regret deeply to have bought any items with after service/guarantee from home center.

Not at all happy with homecentre. I have purchased a wardrobe on 6/03/19 and till date it is not installed. The emi has started deducting from my account and im paying for something that i don't have. This is really pathetuc service from home center and i will never ever associate with you again in fiture nor i will aak anyone my known to take anything from you.

I purchased lewis study desk, book shelf and pedestal. All the three products were defective. I have been complaining since the day i received those products but no response from their side as of now. Really disappointed. I call on their helpline number almost daily. Bad experience.
The boards are of very bad quality. It is not going to last long. These home centre guys are making fool of customers.

damaged product delivered no response the complaint raised
This is regarding the order number #[protected]. I have made an order of coffee mugs from home center and one of the mug from the collection is "raisa-retro printed bone china coffee mug" which has been received defected. There was a light crack mark at the bottom of the mug in shape of arch. However, i tested and found that even after the crack mark it was ok to use so i believed home centre product and started using it. The order was received on wednesday, 26/12/2018 and i started using it from friday morning. On sunday, 30/12/2018 morning i poured tea and it started leaking a lot and then i noticed that the crack mark is appearing inside as well now and that's the reason it started leaking. I have spend rs 100 just for a mug believing that it is a home centre product so it will obviously be worth the money. I have raised a complaint on 31/12/2018 and shared the image of damaged product but till now my request gets closed without any action on it. I request you to please help me in this matter by replacement or refund for this purchase.

We purchased the bed from home centre and it was damaged by their fixing person.
Now just discussions are going on for 15 days and they do not have the replacement parts. Finally, they said we can not give the money back. We can give credit note. I agreed but they are not ready to take back mattresses of the bed which we purchased for the same bed from them.

damaged not delivered

Purchased cot on[protected] and it was supplied in september 2018 but it was damaged item. They have assured to replace with in short period by mail. So far it was not replaced. They have send 2 mails and sms to my mobile of replacing from september. They are making false commitments. No trust on post service and warranty. Hence i send a mail of refund and take back the item, as the trust is lost. But no response.
I intend to get back my money along with compensation.
