REMINDER - 03 - 06 AUG 14

It is with great disappointment that i have to put forth the following.

Despite your one previous mail to me and various other emails by me it with disappointment that i have to mention that there is no further development in resolving the said issue.

This is my second mail to inform you and apprise you that the EMI for the said plan NOT be debited from the credit card till resolution of the matter in hand. It is also to inform you that any action contrary to the above is not acceptable to me and will be taken as breach of trust .


On reaching an agreeable resolution of the said matter in hand the same EMI would thereafter be paid without any extra charges whatsoever as this delay is accountable to Mahindra Holidays Ltd.

I would also like to re- iterate that i may be contacted by email only.

It is requested that this mail be acknowledged by email.

i would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that your lack of any contact by email is not appreciated positively by me and is also considered evasive by self.

    Dear All, I have gone through the above links and was so irritated to see all o[censored]s been played by Club Mahindra with their shameless marketing tactics. I am also a victim of such tactics. I have purchased membership on 27th July 2014 and on 29th July I have placed request for cancellation (Interaction Id. 6971655) to [protected]@clubmahindra.com and all the executives and managers who were part of purchase process. Since that day I have called executives, manager and customer care multiple times and following are the excuses. 1. Sales Executive: Still trying to convince for retaining membership when he was not successful he used harsh words and said you cant take the money back by hook or crook. I have complete recording will share the audio file soon. 2. Manager: "You will get call from corporate office, I cant help." 3. Customer Care: "Sir, we are sorry to hear and our team member will call you today by 6.30pm." But still no call. I have emailed them multiple times but from there also no response. When I placed the request on 29th July, they still generated membership id on 2nd August 2014. Membership id: 2582059. With such behavior of their sales and customer staff and the response they give to customer is pathetic. I am surprised how come they are still there in market even so many cheating cases against them. For me it’s now the money which is involved, This is a case of abuse their executive has done and the harassment done by the company. I will make sure the company has to take a setback this time and proper litigation has to be submitted. I have talk to few members who are on the same platform. I will be meeting lawyer soon anyone who wants to join us is more than welcome. I will be sharing complete details, executive and manager name and details with audio files and scan copies and emails with you. Will discuss further steps soon.       This is to bring to your notice about my horrible and harrassing experience with Club Mahindra.
      I had planned to go to Udaipur resort and I was given dates of 14th and 15th March by your sales executive, which were not my preferred dates but i decided to go ahead with that. This was against a voucher which was given to me on signing up with Club Mahindra. On signing up I was told that I can take a decision on either to continue the membership or cancel it after my first experience of club Mahindra resort.
      My visit was confirmed to me for 14th March but even after repetitive follow ups I was not given the confirmation details. On 13th March my train to Udaipur was at 7:30pm from Delhi and I was told at 5:30 pm that my booking is not confirmed due to a technical error. This is highly unacceptable as it was highly disgusting and unprofessional. I was traveling with my family and two kids and everyone is disturbed.
      Your whole team involved in this - Harsha, Deepti, Ayushi (relationship officer) from Rajouri Garden office and Pitampur office.
      I was continuously following up for reservation mail for last 6 days and i made almost some 30 calls. I was told that it is confirmed and reservation details will soon be sent. But on the last moment i was told the reservation could not be made. I and my wife took leave for this travel which got wasted, my travel bookings for 2nd AC got wasted where i lost 2000/- and it was a horrible experience with real mental harassment.
      I have raised various complaints with member relationship department but no resolution. They are just money minting company with ONLY INTEREST IN GETTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMER BUT GIVING THEM NO SERVICE.
      I WANT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND WANT A FULL REFUND along with compensation for my leaves, other money which i lost and harassment i faced due to this very last minute change else I am moving the matter to consumer court.

          rI took membership in 2012 January and visited Shimla Masobra in June 2012. I was given a ordinary hotel room . On enquiries I found that company sells apartments resorts i.e. Studio, 1BR and 2 BR but have acquired hotel units in most places. Later I went to Jaisalmer in December 2012 and again found hotel premises with normal hotel rooms. The project was even closed. I stayed in Private hotel. I tried several times in Udaipur, Ranthambore and other places in 2013 but either accommodation was denied or only Hotel units were offered. 1. Club mahindra sells apartments and collects hefty amount but established hotel rooms in mot places.That is pure cheating. Hotels are much cheaper and different format than apartment resorts. 2. They regularly rent out these hotels to non members which is illegal and unethical.That is why members dont get rooms when they want 3.They have oversold product so there is always no room available . You have to go as per their convenience and not yours. 4. The procedures and rules made are so communicated that member cant get booking This capacity is then rented out to non members. IN Shimla I found several people staying there who were non members. The rent of Rs 5000/6000 were being charged. 5 When I tried to ask refund they never replied. 6. I tried to transfer membership but there is no buyer in market since their service is very bad and above factors. Even at half current price there is no demand 7. No senior officer of mahindra comes on line and talks.They never reply and end false emails of complaint resolved.They ask transferor, co-applicant, transferee his co-applicant all ti visit their branch from wherever they live to get transfer done. This is patently illegal and not at all required. The transfer can be done online by filling form through one/s account on clubmahindra and documents cant be sent by post. But idea is they want to prevent transfer so they can sell more weeks and fool new customers. There is no property or securities involved and personal visit is not required. So I failed to even sale my membership 8. In short I could not avail holidays in last 2 years. I could not get my refund. I could not sell membership.They are doing fraud with customers by selling apartments and building hotel rooms. Most of their places are not resorts but just plain hotels It appears this company is doing same things like Anubhav Plantations, Golden Forests, Sahara group. Sterling and so on most of them Chennai based too. Indians are advised to avoid this company and its products and demand refund. Complaints should be filed for misleading sales, breach of trust, cheating and very bad service I fear that soon this company may also go the way many companies have gone earlier. All of their actions are based on dishonesty Your money will get stuck up once you pay. If you want to holiday, just pick your day and place and ring up a hotel in that place and book your holidays at much cheaper price and within 2 hrs. You pay Rs 3 lacs plus 3 lacs AMC which becomes 20 lacs by end of 25 years. One can get cheaper and better hotels at any place of your choice. Just go and ask for taxis from their resorts. Prices are 1.5 times to double of normal market rates. The company is building huge assets at members cost freely and will become owner of thee assets and you will be out. The whole scheme is bad and illogical and should be closed.There is property rights or lease given to members. IT is only advance booking of a week at one hotel . We suggest people not to fall trap and deal with this company if they can avoid.

            Sir, REF MEMBERSHIP NUMBER 226146 SUB RESERVATION OF COTTAGES FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER This is with great regret we have to inform you that, whenever we try for a reservation we never get a positive reply from your office, saying one or other lame excuses.Our trips are planned according to our convenience and not to your convenience.We have noticed that you easily give rooms/cottages to outsiders for higher rates without any hesitation...now we would like to come and utilize our membership for the month of October 2nd to 5th in any of the resorts down south, for that we have made a booking call to your reservation center and we had been informed, that is a peak time and we are not eligible to get it at any cost. If that is your norms and conditions, please let me have a letter in black& white which helps me to complain it, in the appropriate forum.Expecting an early reply in this matter.               i have a club mahindra holidays membership from last 10 years. i have been paying my annual maintenance fees every year but last 4 years i have not been anywhere across as i had my financial problems so my fees where pending. now i want to clear my dues they have lapsed my one year has in one account maximum 3 years can be pending. i requested them if you are lapsing my one year and i have not used it also let me not pay that lapsed year fee or i am ready to pay the fees let me use my all years. but they are'nt ready to hear or take my request please see to it sir.

                We were contacted by the club mahindra personnel and were offered free movie vouchers and free hotel stays without official registration. Surprisingly both the codes( for two separate couple tickets) were exactly the same. Nevertheless, we tried to book the tickets but could not as the voucher code had been blocked (by some other user). clearly, it was a dupe and we fell for it. We did not lose any money in this ordeal but we certainly lost precious time and transportation charges. i sincerely hope that people do not fall into such traps. Nothing is free in this world, live with it. Manisha Yadav P.S. i really do not expect any hotel booking to materialise free of cost so i m saving myself a disappointing experience here and have to come again and whine about it on this forum.

                  I, Jyoti Jayesh Ganatra, would like to inform you that I had attended the HFRP session presented by Mr. Tejas Shah on 25th July'14 from 7pm to 9:30pm during the course of which I had tentatively agreed for a one BR White season apartment. After deducting all discounts your company executive had used my HDFC credit card for the initial 10% down payment of Rs. 34800/- (prior to my signing the application form).                       I attended a session at the Club Mahindra Holidays office in Pune and they presented me with a complimentary Cinerewardz voucher at the end of the session. I registered on Cinerewardz and booked for the movies tickets using 2 vouchers. Both vouchers bookings got rejected due to technical errors. I booked again and got the same response from Cinerewardz. I believe this is a unethical practice used by Club Mahindra. Thanks Neetha Mathew

                        Dear Club Mahindra, Voucher No. 269ER26988OJ I have received promotional vouchers for a 2N/3D free stay. They also promised me some 4 movie vouchers of which they gave me but when i tried to register them online it always showed a message that they have been booked and voucher is invalid. I have received these vouchers from Mr. Aziz and Kamlesh who are in the Vashi branch. Sorry to say this but on contacting them they were of no help and just avoided the matter. Earlier i was promised that i could use these vouchers at any club Mahindra resort but now i find that they are only for a few select resorts. Secondly, i just cannot book any place as everything seems to be booked and blocked so these vouchers are of no use. My question to you guys is, Why are you fooling the consumers and issuing vouchers which one cannot use ?? This is fraud and faulty advertisement. It really puts out a bad name for a big company like Mahindra & Mahindra group. Hoping I shall receive a response to this email from the concerned team & people.                             Dear Sir/ Madam, In accordance to the email already sent to your member relations team regarding cancellation of club Mahindra membership, ( the email details are : from: abhishek d <[protected]@gmail.com> to: [protected]@clubmahindra.com date: 2 July 2014 18:26 subject: cancellation of membership mailed-by: gmail.com) and the verbal communication done with the customer care executives twice, Details: 1. First call reference no.[protected] dated 03/07/2014 2. Second call reference no.[protected] dated 05/07/2014. I wish to bring to you notice again that; 1. I have taken membership of Club Mahindra (plan White) on June 30, 14 in Mumbai. 2. The temporary membership number-(Member Application Form-MAF) is FEB/2014/25YRS/023599. 3. The Member ID provided is : 2576720. 4. I have made a payment of Rs. 26, 200/- on June 30, 14 as 10% downpayment. 5. I have sent an email (details mentioned above) on July 02, 14 intimating the member relations team regarding my request for cancellation of Club Mahindra Membership. 6. On 3rd July 2014, I called the customer care to forward the same request verbally and had next verbal communication on 5th July 2014. Hence, now it is humbly requested that my membership be cancelled and Rs.26, 200 paid be refunded in full, at the earliest in accordance with Part C (General Conditions) Rule8.1 of Membership Rules. I also request you to progress with the case without any delay as I have put forward my request within the stipulated time. Again, I wish to get an acknowledgement through email regarding this soon as possible, as my sent email did not get any reply yet, from the Club Mahindra team though, in verbal communication I repeatedly, requested the customer care executive to do the same.                               i am the member of club mahindra holidays and its been almot 18months i am fighting for my offers mentioned to me by club mahindra sale person in my email from the company email id stating some offers are gifted to me and they are not given to me now after the membership is taken. they deny from the same even when i have the proof in email kindly help me

                                Dear Concerned, I bought Esteemed CLUB MAHINDRA WHITE 1 BR memebership in 2004 from Dubai . Whenever we used to come on one month vacation from Dubai, we never got the bookings as per our convienence. Meanwhile we shifted to India in 2008 and misplaced club mahindra membership card etc. As a result my membership remained unused till 2013. In 2013 Club Mahindra told me to clear all the asf of 7 unused lapsed years and their representative Miss Momeena made commitment of recrediting all the lapsed days on phone, conversation took place around 8/3/13 on my number [protected]. She confirmed me that you utilize 7 days then again in batch of 7 days, we will credit the lapsed inventory. And confirmtion mails were forwarded to me by mahindra are as below. On Mar 6, 2013 8:20 PM, "[protected]@clubmahindra.com" <[protected]@clubmahindra.com> wrote Dear Mr. ____, Greetings from Club mahindra Thank you for calling us. With regard to our telecon, we would like to inform you that as per the terms, the maximum number of days to the credit of the member at any point of time shall not exceed 21 including the current year’s entitlement. Any days in excess of 21 at any point of time shall automatically lapse and recredit of the same is not possible.We recommend you book your holidays for the next 6 months before the entitlement date, so as not to lose any entitlement. If for some reason, you find that you are unable to travel yourself, you can also gift your holidays to your friends and relatives twice a calendar year, by paying a nominal guest fee. Lapsing of inventory is part of the terms & conditions at the time of enrollment and we are only implementing that policy. Second mail is confirmation mail for credit of laped inventory. Word of comittment, oral and written, I paid all my dues of 7 asf approx 80000 inr. Now after long mental harrasement they have credited 7 days out of my paid inventory of 42 lapsed days . They are non compliant to their own words and denying to recredit the pending days insipte of the given verbal and written assurance. There statement says "EMPLOYEE WHO PROMISED YOU HAS LEFT CLUB MAHINDRA, WE CAN'T HELP . IT IS U WHO DECIDED TO PAY . THIS IS POLICY " WHERE WAS POLICY WHEN THIS COMITTMENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN WAS BEING MADE BY CLUB MAHINDRA. I humbly request mahindra to credit my lapsed days as promissed. Word of mouth is a big publicity. The way you are failing to self made comittments and grasping money from our pockets will not help you run business for long.                                   Hi I have not used any of your vacation packages till yet. I would like to get a refund of the initial amount (1.25 lakhs) that I have paid. The collection agent who promised me a waiver of annual fees ( which was not told initially by the sales guys of Club Mahindra) by the same collection agent was not done and instead I recieved a mail regarding payment of services that I did not avail. So I would like to cancel the membership and get a refund of the same money. - Regards, Asish

                                  I got a call from one of the Customer Executive named Sandeep.
                                  What is my position right now
                                  &gt; I took my membership with club Mahindra 4 years back 7 days a year for 25 years paying 1, 55, 000
                                  &gt; I have not availed a single vacation
                                  &gt; 7 days have lapsed
                                  &gt; Annual Maintenance fee [which according to Sandeep is for maintaining the resorts] has been accumulated to 41023
                                  What my demand is :
                                  &gt; Waiver of the Annual Maintenance Fee + Redoal of the lapsed 7 daysor
                                  &gt;Cancellation of membership and refund atleast to 70% of the paid amount.
                                  What Sandeep the customer Executives reply is:
                                  &gt; Waiver of annual maintenance is not possible as per Terms.
                                  &gt; Refund is not so customer friendly.
                                  &gt; 60% belong to a non-refundable membership so remaining amount is
                                  &gt; 41023 will be charges as Annual maintenance fee.
                                  &gt; I will recieve 20977 out of the 1, 55, 000 which I had paid and availed nothing.Anyways Sandeep has agreed to call me on Monday to fix a place for meeting up to discuss further.Will keep this forum posted..!
                                  Sandeep has agreed to meet me on Tuesday 1st July 2014. Will post what happens then.

                                      I got free movie tickets and two night three days package while enrolling with club mahindra. After paying three EMIs I got another complementary package of 3 nights and four days as per agreement. Now it is more that six months now from enrollment but neither i could redeem the movie tickets nor any of tour vouchers provided by them. While checking on Internet I am getting all resorts full which are nearby my place. While calling their call center I am getting the same reply. I am really jittery for the amounts I paid. I do not want to continue paying more money so refund all amount paid till date.
