Hi, i have purchased a daikin 1.2 ton 3 star split a. C few days back (10/08/2016). Two persons came to my flat within a week to install the a. C. My flat being at the

Econd floor the technicians were trying to force me to install the a. C in the bealcony. As it was not a feasible option for me i denied that and at that time i came

To know that being the customer, it is my responsibility to arrange for the ladder or the temporary floor made of bamboo so that the outdoor unit can be installed (My

Flat is on 2nd floor). The installation didn't happen that day.

Being very new in the locality, it gave me a lot of trouble to get an arrangement like that and finally it was made on 27/08/2016 by paying inr 2000 to a decorator and

That was only for 2-3 hours.

Two techinicians came to my flat and installed the two units. They provided me an adhoc installation bill of inr 2710 and told me to sign on the service completion

Certificate, though i was not briefed earlier about some of the components on the bill at the time of purchasing the a. C inspite of asking the sales person serveral

Times.

However, when i was about to pay the amount, i noticed that a noise is coming from the indoor unit of the a. C and immedicately informed the techinicians. Firstly they

Were trying to ignore the issue but being requested several times to check, they had a glace on it and came up with the impression that it is not their task and

Ervice engineers will fix it.

I was not in a position to pay the bill at that time because the a. C was not installed smoothly by true means but somehow was forced to pay the amount as their

Immediate supervisors told me over phone that they are looking into it and the issue will be solved by the next day itself.

But till now, no action has been taken though i called the supervisors 20-30 times, sometimes they are not picking up the phones as well. Additionally with my utter

Urprise, i can now see that beside the indoor unit, some noise is coming from the outdoor unit as well which the technicians noticed that day and lied to me that

Outdoor unit is fine.

Under the circumstances, could you please spend some time so that i can clarify the following points and i do not feel that i am cheated by a brand like daikin:

1. As per the technicians the installation is complete and they have got the additional amount which they billed - could you please let me know that it is installation

The customer wants?

2. There is no one to hear my problem just after payment for installation is made. Can't i get an appropriate answer about when and how the issue will be considered?

3. I have already spent inr 2000 for arranging ladder and bamboo. If it is required to arrange for the ladder or bamboo stuff again who will be paying that amount?

4. Was it not the responsibility of the technicians to inform me upfront that the noise is coming from the outdoor unit as well and should keep the bamboo support

Tuff for another day.

Priviously i used two a. C of a different brand (Hitachi) at my native home at burdwan and this time i was giving a try to switch to daikin and selected a room at my

New flat. Hope that i will get the answers to decide further.

    I would request the consumer forum head to take the strict action against the company as my problem did not get resolved and I getting the call from authorised service centre they are sending the quotation instead of replacing the machine as I am not only the consumer who is facing the problem as you can check the complaint made by many others customer the same problem of cooling and compressor issue but there is no one to solve the problem as I being freed up of receiving the calls from the customer support of Diakin india .
    So it's a very humble request to take action or else take away that machine from my place .Even not satisfied with the management of such company as well as the branch head of kolkata

    Though I would request the consumer complaint department head I don't think they are giving any value to the consumer complaint website .As well as this time I don't want the serviced again .There are many other companies whose airconditioner not giving such problem as your company machine gave me from the date of purchase .if your machine gives such problem then your company should extend the warranty of minimum 5 years instead of 1 year because of such machine provided by your company as your branch head know only knows how to argue instead of accepting such faults in machine

      I have purchased Daikin Split AC from Vivek on June 2016 from one of the retail shop of Vivek in T. Nagar, Chennai. Last three weeks i have water leakage from the front panel of in door unit, have contacted the vivek home service and till date they have not resolved the issue and they are one of the worst home service. I am surprised that how they are still in business with this kind of poor service and response. I would expect Daikin to attend the issue immediately and replace the in door unit as i am still in the warranty period.

        Hello, my name is sataywan chauhan. Recently i bought a dakin ac in the month of 5th june. But we are having to confront enormous amounts of problems related to cooling since we bought this ac. We have already got our complaint lodged more than 30 times within 3 months but they just check it and sometimes they don't come on time, still they are not able to scrutinize the main problem, that what is an emphatic reason behind it. There is a gigantic problem in this ac, which is, the ac is running at 18 temperature but still it is not able to give an advisable cooling. Even the company worker those who are coming in our home to repair it, they are not conversant about their profession, they don't even know how to repair the ac.
        At the end i would say, i paid 42, 000 rupees for this ac. But it is not able to make me feel affectionate and my family. The situation is making me feel so skeptical that where do i have to go, and where i can get my complaint lodged because the company people keep on confabulating regarding this problem. So if the company is not going to take any sort of action against it, so i'm going to visit to the consumer form.

          Daikin ac worst service, even the product is in manufacturer's warranty

          I had bought a 1.5 ton daikin inverter ac (Model no:- ftkp50rrv16) online from paytm. It was installed on 1st july, 2016.
          Since 4th july, 2016 i have been facing an issue. So, on 6th july morning, i called on the toll free number to raise a complain.

          Till today, it is not yet solved. The team who installed my ac was given the charge to look after this ac. But horrible service from the "team unity aircool service centre"...

          I purchased a daikin inverter ac last month & after 2 days there was some problem in the ac & some parts needed to be replaced.
          Several complaints were raised thru company's customer care, but no progress in repairs from company. When contacted thru twitter, company has fixed set of response: escalation of service request, promise o[censored]pdates & call back, but no call back or updates. Without any progress in repairs, company informs that complaint has been resolved.
          Daikin may be having good products but poor & inefficient service, unexpected from a japanese company, that too "global leader".

            I have purchased a AC of Daikin From Raj Electronics on 06/05/2016, Bhubaneswar.
            The AC had a manufacturing problem and didn't start atall.Based on my complain to daikin they have sent 3 to 4 times their technician and failed to solve the problem.Then daikin service manager Mr. Manas Pattnaik( mob. [protected]) and Raj Electronics ([protected]) both agreed to replace the faulty AC with new one as the AC has a manufacturing problem.
            But from last nearly 2 months they both have been harassing us and now they have stopped receiving our call.

              I purchased daikin split a/c - 1 ton, amounted rs. 35, 700 on 09.05.2016 by the dealer "system aircon" (regd. office: c-2/52- b, lawrence road, keshav puram, delhi - 110035). the product i purchased was under guarantee/warranty but still when engineer was called up for free service, he said that problem of gas leakage is their which has to rectify. and for this charge of rs.4026.00 was taken. all the fixing was done by daikin's engineer, hence gas leakage was their fault. the additional service charge is illegal and i want it to be refund soon. copy of the bill is attached with this complaint. check it and take a strict action against it, unless i can file complaint further also.

                I had purchased a daikin 1.5 ton split ac during may 2016 from paras electronics, sector 35, chandigarh. On 10 july 2016 hot air came out from the indoor unit and black plastic pieces came out with noise. I had launched a complaint vide my service request no ixc[protected]. The person attended the service request on 11.07.06 informed that blower of the ac is damaged and will be replaced soon. We are suffering since than as the said blower has not been replaced yet.

                  I purchased 1T Daikin Inverter AC on Thursday (30th June) from Value Plus, Swaroopnagar. A person ( Ravi Kumar) came on Friday afternoon to install AC unit. He fixed the unit and left the area in mess (loose wires dangling from connections made by him, Stabilizer unit, Junction box with MCB on window pane and left without informing. When I called him, he informed we need to call electrician to fix all these things. I spoke to Mr Tripathi from Value Plus, he said he will got these jobs done but next day on enquiring told it is not their job and we need to call an electrician.
                  When we started AC unit next day night, after some 30 min running, water started leaking heavily from AC drain pipe joint, which is just outside AC unit and it spoiled everything kept below on almirah and floor. We switched off the unit and closer inspection revealed that joint with rubber pipe was made with the help of simple transparent cello tape. It was very poor workmanship on part of person deputed by Valueplus to install the unit. Monday we contacted Mr Tripathi, Value Plus and informed about our problem, he assured prompt action but nobody turned up to attend it. I personally visited Value Plus in afternoon to enquire and then in my presence a complaint with Customer Care was made.
                  I received a SMS from DAIKIN, with details of my Complaint No. - LKO[protected] and then another message that my Service Request will be attended by Mohit Dixit.
                  Today received a call from this no.at 11.43 AM, informing their visit in 1 hr to attend the problem, I gave him clear direction and landmark to reach my home.
                  At 01.26 PM I received call from a number, as I was busy somewhere else, I saw miss call after some time. Although it was unknown number, still I called back. Person on other end told that he was assigned to attend my AC request and as I did not pick the call he has gone somewhere else and will come only when he is free from there.
                  This is most unprofessional and highly unsafe behaviour on part of DAIKIN and Channel Partner selected / retained by DAIKIN. Everyday so many criminal activities are taking place by letting unknown person to enter house for such jobs. How they can send some unknown person without first informing us, we received information about a person with his cell no. but here we receive a call from an unknown person with unknown number telling that he will be attending the service request. THIS IS JUST NOT ACCEPTED.Secondly, when clear directions / landmark has been explained then why it is necessary that a person will visit only when I receive his call. Does DAIKIN expects me to sit at home all the time waiting to attend call, with No indication or communication what is the expected time of visit.
                  This is a serious issue and very unsafe way of job execution and extremely poor workmanship, which I never expected from such a reputed company like DAIKIN.
                  I feel total letdown by Valueplus as after collecting payment they say they have nothing to do with my problem and I need to contact Daikin and fom Daikin, nobody has contacted or came to attend and rectify the problem. After spending + 40000 rupee, I am left with a unit which has not worked even for 1 hour.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am deeply regret to Daikin AC. I brought Daikin AC after recommend by Shopkeeper or my friend. My purchase date was 30/03/16. Already 3 times we have faced different type of problem. Today on the date of 01/07/16 when we start my AC found my AC is not cooling, a cracking sound is generating to the Outdoor Unit. A different type of Smalling have got generate while Ac is on condition. Please look into the matter. I am deeply haras. Please change the both Indoor & Outdoor unit. Or you may return my full money against the Daikin AC purchasing.

                    On the date of 22/06/16 i have complaint regarding my AC is not worked compliant no. was ( CCU[protected]. Your technician had came in my home attend this problem regarding AC is not worked. They fully dismantling of both Indoor & Outdoor unit. Then told us that my PCB ( POWER CIRCUIT BORD ) is problem. While PCB is problem but they fully dismantling the both inddor & outdoor unit. That's why i am saying to you that your Daikin AC technician is totally unskille person. They might have done something wrong with my AC. Now my AC is in under free maintenance period. you just think after a year what i will be doing. I might be lot of money spend in my AC maintenance.

                      1. daikin channel partner has visited five times for attending the snag of my ac but problem still persists and summer is about to go.
                      2. daikin channel partner’s technician visited my place to attend the problem of my ac who was not competent enough for rectification of the problem and was not familiar with daikin ac.
                      3. the one ton ac was charged with refrigerant by 80 units during installation.
                      4. they have already charged rs 5100 against head m&r

                      Lesson learnt: buy only those brands which give best services after purchase. do not go by brand

                        We had purchased 24 daikin acs last year in august 2015
                        For our new home in new delhi '

                        The vendor was sargam electronics laxmi nagar

                        The first summer after the purchase started in april this year and as the ac's were put to use the real test began.

                        And it was a shock to see that the acs are faulty.

                        They have a tripping problem. The compressor starts tripping after the 1st 30 minutes

                        I made my 1st complaint on 06/06/2016 vide request no [protected]
                        The complained was attended by mr yatin from sarin daikin (Authorised service partners) ph [protected]

                        After inspection the advisor found that the gas in the ac's was less than required and also suggested to change the face of the outdoor units as they were in the rear shaft facing sideways and they said that the compressor trips because of less heat escape, i was initially confused because 2 out 6 ac's in the same place were working just fine.. To be noted the installation was done in daiking engineers guidance.

                        But nevertheless i got the directions changed and the the gas was refilled by the service advisor. The process took a weeks time

                        Now upon daily usage again the same fault is being found.
                        I made a 2nd compaint cide request no dl[protected].
                        Despite my request i asked the service advisor to spare some time and check every ac with patience but i was outrightly told that he was too busy to do it and has better things to do. Which i have on record.

                        My request is that out of 24 acs purchased only 6-7 are normal and i am afraid i have been supplied with a defective lot.

                        I demand a senior supervisor be sent to check and the ac's should be replaced. I have spent 1 million rupees plus on your product and i expect the right product.

                        Please look into the matter and an immediate action is sought

                            The unit was working, no chillness coming. We informed to customer care. First person came and checked the unit and gone. When contacting him, he told some other person will come. After two weeks one person came taken the unit, mentioning some leak in the coil. Two weeks over after taking the unit. The issue is not resolved until now. At the present temperature of Chennai, we are suffering without AC.

                              We are receiving the world's worst service by daikin - so called international brand in our city - kota (Rajasthan, india). We expected a great service experience when we brought daikin split - inventor ac's for our newly built hotel. More than 30 units were purchased for more than 9 lakhs in june 2015. All are still in service warranty period. The performances of acs have been real bad. It is the worst after sales we have ever experienced from an international brand.
                              It has been numerous times that i have made complaints on the toll free number. But every time a deaf ear was turned to us. On each call they give us a new complaint no. Not addressing or doing anything about the previous complaint made for the same complaint.
                              The 1st complaint was made on 4th april 2016 on toll free number after which we have received many other complaint numbers (Jai[protected], jai[protected], jai[protected], jai[protected], jai[protected] and many others that we have lost track of), but no solution. Each time sending a message with a new complaint number and saying - "... Complaint will be attended by our channel partner mahesh mittal ph.[protected]" but no one takes responsibility of closing the complaint.
                              The company is not able to fix a small problem in the ac from more than a month. They have taken the faulty parts for repair on 31st may 2016 and show no signs of returning it. Your servicemen are asking for parts from working ac so that they can check and then repair the ac. The part that they took for repair is yet not returned. This proves the level of workers and after sales team working for the so called international brand.
                              We have not even received a single free service out of 3 services promised at the time of purchase for most of our acs and each piece shows some or the other fault. There is no one who is taking any responsibility and seems they are just waiting for our warranty period to expire so that they can get away with selling their faulty acs to us!
                              Such malpractices are not expected from #daikinindia which has for sure put the company's reputation at stake. We have lost business due to this and it is expected that daikin india would compensate for the same.

                              No service has been provided uet to the ACs. Only one AC's part which had been taken for repair is returned, no service is provided at all to the other ACs. All ACs have problem of water leakage as well as irregular cooking and faulty display panel. All are still in warranty period. 2 services are to be provided free during warranty, we have not received even a single service for many of them and now when we have raised the complaint, you are generating a "SATISFACTION NO."??? Ridiculous!!

                                I purchased daikin split ac model # ft35g on 17 march 2011 from m/s refrico (Near odeon cinema, cantt. Road, lucknow, up) for rs.34990/=, which carried a warranty of 1+4years. Its performance started deteriorating in 2014 and in may-june 2015 it stopped cooling. M/s refrico examined it and said there was leakage in condensor coil. They repaired it on payment but the same problem recurred. Now m/s refrico says that the coil has to be replaced (At a cost of rs.7000/=) but the replacement will not carry any warranty!.In other words, if the coil leaks again even after just a week, i have to buy that again!!. This complaint is bring to your kind notice 2 important things: 1. I have been using 2 acs of another make other than daikin, since last 15 years and never faced any problem with them. Therefore, daikin acs in my experience, can not be considered as dependable. 2. Why the seller is not communicating with daikin to help the customer to attend to complaints?

                                  I had complained regarding complain in my inverter AC (M-RKP71QRV16 S[protected] on around 25 - 26 apil (within warrenty period), to which some person from coolline acency pvt ltd, surat visitied and made first

                                  job sheet #2285 dt 28 april - told PCB has proble and has to be replaced

                                  then next visit job sheet #4768 dt 16 may, changed PCB, but problem was not solved

                                  again visited next with job sheet #3677 dt 24 may tried to fix the matter, but again failed told new compressor is needed

                                  again visited with job sheet #4795 dt 21 may took indoor and outdoor unit to ware house.

                                  Till date no news, on daily calling we are getting just assurance it will b done etc.

                                  Now its around 2 months im not sure even if at all they fix how many months its goin to last.


                                  CAN U PLEASE CHECK THE MATTER AND INFORM ME WHAT AND WHEN ILL GET MY AC BACK, OR GIVE ME AN NEW REPLACEMENT.

                                    First of all i want to start by writing you don’t give any importance to customer service to your customers, i made a complaint regarding mr. Jagjit singh [protected] your beloved service engineer from amritsar in april but received no feedback from your side. My original complaint number was ixc[protected]

                                    After wasting by 6 days that time i was told that internal pipe has a leakage. I told him i will be out of india for a month once i am back i will get my ac relocated on a different wall and what ever the charges are i will pay you.

                                    I could have got this work done from outside also but instead i put my fate in trusted hands of daikin service center from which i was thoroughly disappointed.
                                    I called him up on 6th june 2016 morning to set up a time with him to relocate he said today there is off due to strike and tomm tuesday all the guys are busy due to lot of complaints i will visit on wednesday 8th june and get it done.

                                    After probably calling him 10 times on wednesday he visited my place in evening to discuss the relocation on different wall. After 5 mins of discussion he said i don’t have any team or set up to make new pipes from walls you get it done yourself i will just put the ac on wall. After getting the call from the dealer from where i had purchased he said its fine i will send my person tomorrow to stand pressure in new pipes and friday the unit will be relocated.
                                    Around 20 calls were made to him on thursday no body showed up, after another 30 calls on friday at 6.40 pm in evening the person came to stand pressure and told me will come in morning to check do rest of the work

                                    I called this [protected]@[protected]@ today saturday 11/06/2016 around 10.30 to ask what time will he come so i can plan my day accordingly he said he is in a meeting will call back in 10 mins which never happened. From 11.30 to 12.45 i called him around 20 times never took my call, just kept rejecting it and even sometimes it was in call waiting did not returned or back called.
                                    He shows up at my place around 3 pm, i thought he team must be coming to do the work but he says i don’t have any guys free today it will be done on monday. I was soo furious felt like slamming his face in the wall. I just told him to get out of my house i will get it done privately from somewhere you have already wasted my one week cant trust you more.

                                    Please let me know what is my fault in this …. That i only bought a daikin ac to make me feel comfortable in but i have to sleep and bear the summer heat just because your service center don’t have adulate resources to help out customers.

                                    I cant tell you how disappointed i am with his service, i just want his service agreement to be cancelled as he does not deserved to be part of the daikin family as he does not understand i single word of customer satisfaction. I have 9 units installed at my place but i don’t think so after this incident i will be going for daikin or recommending it to anyone.

                                    I just want justice for all the frustration that i have suffered due to him and really hope any one in the senior management can take some action.

                                      4 complaint done since 31 may but no solution arrives in daikin
                                      This below is my complaint and no action has been taken and very poor installation and service has been provided. My bill is also attached in the mail.


                                      Proper installation not done and service request complaint not attended since 15 days


                                      I have attached my bill of ac that i have bought from sales india, ahmedabad. I have bought daikin air conditioner. I have several complaints and i really regret buying daikin ac. I am writing below my complaints in serial no. I have bought from sales india, prahladnagar, ahmedabad on 17 may 2016. Daikin 1.9 ton 3 star atc60

                                      1) ac installation was done a week after we bought ac but this was ok with us
                                      2) the installation coupon that was given from sales india to us to give to the installation representative. We had written on the installation slip on the same day of installation that we are not satisfied with the installation but no action has been taken by the dealer.
                                      2) installation was very poor in comparison to many other company ac's that were installed at many other offices and homes.Installation staff was very rude and came to install ac at 7.30 - 8 pm at night. He did not even had the basic things required to install an ac. He made us run after 9 pm and 10 pm for things he required like water pipe, screws, elbows, solution to stick the pipe and we had to sit with him in office and as it was late he did not install properly as he just installed an ac and ran away. And as it was late his behavior was not so good. Is this what we expect from a so reputed brand?
                                      3) water pipe was not fitted well and from next day morning water is leaking from my ac and we have sent complaint 2 times but no action has been taken since last 10-15 days.
                                      4) service request was made online from daikin website before 7-10 days but nothing has been done for us up till now.
                                      5) complaint was also made on call to daikin customer care and complaint no. Amd[protected] was given to us from company and channel parnter mr. Sunny thakkar and his phone no [protected] was sent to us on mobile message since many days but nothing has happened uptill now and we have really irritated. Our complaint has not been attended and all water continues to come out from our office ac and makes the floor and table beneath it completely wet

                                      And now when my company person came, he said i wont do it and the person who has installed ac has to do it

Please send some engineer to solve the problem. Site engineer came and said that daikin fitting person has applied gum solution and stuck the pipes now he will come to repair.. Other engineer phone no. Was also given his name is mr. Zuber shaikh and his phone no is [protected] but his phone is switch off till now. Earlier sunny thakkar was given duty and his phone no was [protected] but his no was also switch off. 1 month of problems after buying daikin ac is going to complete

                                      What do we have to do now?? This is seriously too much problem caused due to your fitting person.
