Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Bhawna Sharma (Assistant Prof.) at IMA Dehradun. I went to Nehru Place to buy a battery for my laptop Inspiron 1545 (15'). I went to the shop named "LAPTOP SHOPPE PVT LTD" G-1A Gedore House 51-52 , Nehru Place phone[protected], Neetu Kholia [protected], email- [protected]@yahoo.in . It apperes to be a Dell Outlet so i asked them if it is an original outlet of Dell. She said "yes" than i asked if there is variation in price than i will return you battery they said there will be no variation in price. With this fake profile they gave me a battery with a very poor performance and charged 3500 for that. Then i saw another Dell shop and to confirm the price i asked there it was just 3000. Than i went back to the shop and told them that the cost is 3000 why you have charged 3500 and now please return my 500 then these people misbehaved with me and shouted n me. They said that you have paid by card so we can not return cash until the money won't come in our account, Now I have realized that even they have given me some fake battery because its performance is really poor. Please help me.

    My charger stopped working . So i called dell support system and the guy asked me to run some tests and systems stopped working after couple of days. when i called them again they wanted to said they are escalating my complain to higher management and will call me next morning around 9 am. There was no call till 1 PM when i called them they say they willl call within next 48 hours. Is there any email ID where i can escalate this issue..
    I am really frustated with the service. Not going to recommend Dell to anyone.

      hi,
      i bought the dell aero phone last year. for last 1 month, i am facing problem in the touch screen. part of the screen is not responding to the touch at all.
      the service center (in NOIDA, India) says that the compliant will be responded by next week only.

        I am facing multiple issues with my Dell laptop from last month and i have reported all these issues to them.
        But they have not solve my single issue till now.
        Every time i call them, most of the time their support staff put the call on hold and call got disconnected in a minute.
        I have reported issue 15 days back and they haven't respond till now.

        dell/inspiron 1525 laptop — Dell support is Worst........

        I was getting problem of current flowing in my laptop and i had complaint of it. one engineer came and he found that problem and open the laptop and change motherboard but after rearrange the laptop another problem I faced at the present time of dell Eng .of keypad of Keyboard and he tried to solve the problem but he was not able to solve it. He has given me one copy in which he has written the status is incomplete. I have called many times to dell they are telling to open laptop itself they will only support on call.
        Now i am calling in dell support then they are saying that you have to pay for it or you have to extend the support. But my problem came in the warrant period and this problem was not previous, the keypad problem is creating by the Dell Eng. after changing the Motherboard.
        Please take some necessary Action.

          I purchased a DellXCD 28 mobile from Home Shop18 in April 2011.The touch screen stopped working in the month of October 2011.I contacted he Dell customer care but came to know that there is no service centre in Bihar then I contacted Home Shop18 they told me to send the mobile to them ,they will get the mobile replaced/repaired.I sent the mobile to Home Shop 18 on 24th of October After receiving it on 31st of October they sent it to the local service centre(Noida service centre I have talked to Dell service centre Noida with Jugnu Chauhan, where my Dell Xcd28 mobile was submitted for replacement on 31.10.2011with Job sheet No 6NHYVN1in the name of Dr.S M Azam,They said that the mobile is with them and they are unable to replace due to shortage of stock.they also said that their request for stock is already pending with the head office.Then I sent personal message to Mr Tulsi social support officer at Dell He asked for details I provided the required detail then he assured for resolution on priority basis.But after three or four mails he is not responding.
          For the last two and half months I am unable to get my Mobile and I am following Home Shop18 and Dell waiting for my replacement.Kindly help

            I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop last year (Service Tag: BR26ZP1) and it's still under warranty period. Few days back I heard a buzzing sound from the product's adapter (power supply cord). I became very nervous and reached my nearest Dell service center without any delay (14/01/2012). They checked the adapter and found that because of some short-circuit within the adapter such a noise was coming out from there. However, they refused to repair the adapter and said that Dell won't provide me any replacement of the adapter until it's fully damaged. Though I expressed my skepticism and said that such a thing could damage my laptop completely, they didn't pay any heed to my request and sent me back home by saying that nothing would happen.

            What should I do now? Can anybody help me with proper advice? Can I take any step against them for not repairing my adapter though it's under warranty period?

            I has purchased a laptop with windows vista on october 2009 from dell.Later it was anounced that free upgrade was provided for people who had purchased vista after july 2009.From past three months i have been calling dell executves and all they have been doing is transfering calls from one person to another.The website where we have to register for fre upgrades was not working when i tried 2 months back and now when i register again it says that my laptops records are not present in the database.I am not sure what has to be done to get this work done from them.

            Dell Inspiron Laptop — BATTERY YET TO BE RECEIVED

            I had ordered for a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop battery in March 2009 and had paid an amount of Rs. 5330 by draft according to the details of payment sent by me by my salesperson Jeffin Kuriakose.I still haven't received my battery and have been using my laptop as a desktop since then.Each time I call I have been given several excuses,first they told me the product would arrive in 2 months,then I was told several times to call 1 month later.Then they told me that my draft would be sent back because the product was not available but I havent received my battery nor my money.

            Dell Inspiron Laptop — Inappropriate price

            I recently bought a dell inspiron laptop from SAN COMPUTEK, Nashik. The thing is that they sold it to me for Rs. 41,990 plus 400 for OS CD..
            Now when I checked its price on the dell website it was Rs. 36,780.
            So, the shopkeeper sold it to me at a rate greater than its market value.

Mobile No.[protected] purchased a Dell Inspiron N5050 Laptop on 13/04/2012. since last one month I've been getting warning message upon opening the device that, 'Charger plugged in but not Charging, use Original Dell Adapter W65 or above" regarding the same matter I several times complained to the vendor but I was advised to approach Dell Support Services as my device has been in warranty period. The same matter I notified to Support Services over phone but so far neither response nor any rep reported to attend my complaint.

              I am Prasad Mehta from Pune. A problem occurred in the functioning of my mobile i.e. 'DELL XCD35'.
              I showed it at the service center on 7/12/2011. They assured that the replacement would take 15 days. It's about 37 days since then,yet i have not got the replacement.
              I had mailed about this on [protected]@dell.com on 27 dec 2011. they replayed that ill get replacement in 7 days, but still i haven't got it.
              I also called on [protected] which is dells costumer care number, i had an bad experience, they don't attend people properly.
              They cut the phone without responding or giving any answer.
              I request to get my replacement as soon as possible or return my money which I had invested in mobile.

              They have sent my phone to replacement to you at 22/05/2012 due to Diapperance Of Display ! [without any reason !! ]

                dell laptop purchased on 25/6/2011, from suntek, no.7, K.A.J. plaza, shop no. A2, narasingapuram street, mount rd. CHENNAI,

                since purchase i have faced a lot of problems related with the hardware of this laptop, i had purchased this laptop keeping in mind that i may get instant service without wasting enough time and money but the results are not satisfactory, there was a problem with speaker, which i reported to ur mail id and i even got reply that i would be contacted soon (case#[protected], case id 5310412), but instead i had to wait for a long time and finally go to my retailer who took one month to deliver it back. the problem i recently faced was that one of the hinge of the laptop became loose, with the bitter experience that i had in the past with the way u handled my complain, i felt it was better to visit the retailer, the retailer directed me to VENKTRON digital systems, VGP victory house, annai salai, chennai 600002, which looks after the after sales services of dell computers. At VENKRON i was told that the mounting at the base was broken, and that base would get replaced in mumbai, i was told to come after a week, after two weeks i received the laptop but the base was not replaced instead the hinge and base plastic was unskillfully molded and returned, the excuse that i got for it was that spare was not available. i was shocked to hear such a reply form a company which assures best customer support. when u sell a product with such a bad quality hardware, and dont have enough spare to replace in case of defect u should be liable to either replace the product or repay full refund.

                  DELL LAPTOP CONDUCTING ELECTRICITY AND STILL TECH SUPPORT TROUBLESHOOTS

                  Hi Guys ,

                  I am Sippan Srikumar Rout I bought a dell laptop model 15 R (N5010)
                  Service Tag : B 9 T Z 7 B S , its a i5 comp with 4GB ram and 1GB dedicated graphics card but the misery is that its a DELL. The computer worked fine for couple of months before it showed multiple problem beginning with the computer over heating , then its exhaust fan making loud noise , then computer shutting down itself while playing HD GAMES for not more than 20 mintues and at last it started conducting electricity ( giving electric shocks ). So finally I call the technical support and they ask me to try different electric power point. I tried to let them know that I was getting electric shock not only in my house but also in my college and at another house at a different city and that I also had an electrician checked my house wiring. Even after listening to all that they insisted on trying it once again and they promised a call back. The next day when I tried to work on the computer as advised by the experts and that's when I got another electric shock and the computer accidentally fell from the desk and the LCD broke and now the computer doesn't even turn on thanks to DELL. So I call them once again as I have COMPLETE CARE that takes care of accidental damage and all I get is CALL BACK PROMISE once again. Please advise me guys how I can take legal action on DELL for giving me a computer that conducts electricity and then asking the customer to troubleshoot on the computer even after knowing that the computer was conducting electricity putting my own safety at risk when they simply could replaced the computer as there is nothing much once could do on a computer that is giving electric shocks.

                      I am dr.jayaraj working in govt. hospital chennai. My service tag no. 2SLB6Q1.I bought my laptop on nov 19th 2010. I am having problems and issues with my laptop right from the nov 20 th. I have not made use of even 1% of its purchase value. At first my os got corrupted on dec 22nd as said by technical team on my query. Service request no.[protected].They guided me to identify the problem in system and said that hard drive fine and my os got corrupted and i have to reinstall it. With their help i reinstalled the os. I spent hours and days to reinstall os drivers and utilities with dell team.In two days time again my os got corrupted and my keybaord is having power leak and current passes through it when i use key board. When i contacted them they said that that there is problem in my hard drive. They said that they will replace the defective parts with help of engineer. But i am not interested in that. I have solid reasons for that. those are; its hardly one month i purchased my laptop. I have not used it much. If it is some six months i bought the laptop i would have accepted your arguement, since i have used it for half of the warrant period. but now of twelve months warranty period its just one month over HARDLY 7% USED. And i cant digest these many problems occuring in a newly bought laptop investing rs.37000 rupees in dell.Also day by day new and new problem arises with this laptop. There is lot of difference between the inbuilt parts and the replaced one. Your team has failed to detect the hardware problem at the second day and also at the first instance of os corruption.i have been subjected to lot of mental stress and tension in the following days of os installation and its corruption for the second time.Its negligence from your technical side.So i have lost interest and confidence in this laptop.I want a new laptop in exchange for this defctive product. Iexpect u to do this and i believe that u will not pave way for me to consider taking necessary legal action for giving me a defective product and subjecting me to mental stress and eating my time for hours and days. thanking you.

                          i bought a dell mini book in sept 2010 for Rs 15,500/- which has gone unserviceable just after expiry of warranty period. i send it to an authorized dell repair shop who quoted that it cannot be repaired unless i take an AMC for two years costing Rs 10,500/-. thereafter i went to another authorized dell repair agency who quoted Rs 15,440/- for the same job. my complaint is firstly i am a basic computer user and my computer fault will definitely be due to poor quality of a product as i am not into hard core programming/ using computer to extremes. secondly the after sales service policy of dell is a burden on consumer as the laptops cannot be repaired in general market unlike other brands and due to monopoly charges asked not at all justified. i will be great full if someone intervenes so that i can get my laptop repaired at justified price. the instance can also be spread across to other potential customers so that they come to know the true face of company's after sales laxity.

                            I am really upset with dell from new year onward, since i reported an issue on my Wi-Fi not been working properly on 27th of dec i was asked to install a driver for that. Even then it don't seems to work and i reported the same on 29th and the ppl from dell, they took remote access and re installed another driver, unfortunately this also stoped working. This time even the it become more worst, it left me with blue screen of death and i am unable to boot into my system. So aging i call dell ppl on 2nd of jan 2011 and i asked them to fix it. They are asking me re install the OS system for which i need to take my system to near by service center for which i need spend 6 business hours of mine which will not be possible for me. So i asked tech ppl either to send back up cd or any technician to my to get the work done for which they refused to. i am still loosing time and the issue is not fix at last even tech guy dropped the call saying that i can't help. i even told ask tech person do you want me to make this small issues legal, he told me go ahead and do it we are not afraid of. This is the way the ppl from tech support behave and i am still stuck with the issue. All together till now i spent around 6 business hours of mine requesting to get the issue solved and aging they are asking me spend 6 more business hours of my to reach out near by service center for which i am not ready to pay the consequence for the mistake done by dell ppl. and my service tag number is 24kzt1s. And i am dell customer from past 4 years this is kind of treatment i am getting. I am still opening my doors to get the issues solved by not draging it to court. please help in this with fixing the issue so that i can still trust DELL .

                              would like to lodge a complaint against Dell laptop model Inspiron N4010 which i purchased on 7th July 2010 from Devraj Computers Pvt Limited Dell located at Nugambakam, Chennai.
                              This is to bring to notice about the multiple hardware faliure which occured in this laptop within 15 months of purchasing. The first problem which i faced was with camera of this laptop which stopped working after two months of purchase. Being in warranty period, it was serviced by the Dell Service center but the problem reoccured along with Wi-fi, Bluetooth and USB port not working. I submitted my laptop again on 14th May 2011 which they again fixed and returned the laptop after 15 days.
                              After 20 days web cam again stopped working and this time they fixed it in two minutes saying some loose wire from inside. It again stopped working after few days. With this frustration of poor services provided by Dell Service center, I decided to work on the laptop without web camera. But after few days another issue of beep sound occured in the machine which keeps occuring for around 20 minutes
                              On contacting Service Center, they informed Hard disk has crashed and it will require 14000 rupees to replace it.
                              Please help me out as it is clear that the laptop had manufacturing defect right from the beginning. The problem which existed in the beginning still exists coupled with crashing of Hard Disk. So many issues within the first 15 months is evidence enough to conclude that a defective laptop was provided. Moreover, I found from internet the cost of 500GB hard disk to be 6000 rupees maximum with three years warranty. Here they are asking for Rs. 14000 with one year warranty. With poor service have they started cheating customer also?
                              I bought the laptop for 39606 rupees and now just after 15months again investing 14000 rupees makes no sense.

                                I have been constantly having issues with my laptop since the past 1 month. First my laptop had a heating issue and webcam was also not working, so,
                                I called up dell technical support told them my problem and they sent a onsite engineer to repair it. So this guy comes in to my place changes the webcam and the motherboard. However in the process he broke the front LCD Panel covering. He did have an extra panel for my model so he tried replacing it, and hence breaking it too. Before leaving he tell me that it not broken but just loose and will settle after few days o[censored]se. Also after he left I realized that my windows was malfunctioning any was freezing up sometimes. I re-run my windows experiences index, only to find that it had decreased to 4.3 from 5.1 (my Windows Experiences rating before the technician touched my laptop)

                                I waited for few days and called the dell technical support again. The Technical support guy started troubleshooting and giving me all sort of rubbish explanation as to what could have caused the issue. I myself work in IBM and I am a B.tech in Computer Science graduate, I did not buy his explanation and told him what might have caused this issue. He insisted that i am wrong and he is right, so i told him to do what-ever he wants. They sent another onsite engineer to fix this issue. He comes in and fixes my Lcd Panel covering and replaces the motherboard again. But when he switched the laptop on it displayed the Blue Screen Error(better known as BSOD: blue Screen of Death). Then he switshed backed to the motherboard that he just took out from my laptop and checked. Windows loaded and was working, so he never replaced my motherboard and i never got my old ratings back. He left and i requested that i mark him high on his service survey. just a day after that i plugged my cameras SD card in my laptop to back-up few photographs. I found out that now my memory card reader was not working. I was furious!!

                                I called up Dell technical support again and told them about it. I told them that i had enough of them and i just need my laptop to work fine with any hardware issue. So they promised to send another onsite technician. So today the technician came and fixed the SD Card reader and also replaced the motherboard which they failed to do before. I cross checked everything before he left and switch my laptop off. 30 min later i switch my laptop on again only to find a bluish display on the LCD. So i tried to move the LCD Panel back and forth to see if it makes any difference. If had press and hold on the bottom left corner on my LCD panel then the display is fine but as soon as i release it, guess what i goes back to that bluish color tone!!!!!

                                So i tried calling dell technical support again. A girl picks up and i asked her politely that "is it possible that i could talk to your manager"? She replied in affirmative and placed me on hold. 2 min later she hanged up on me!!!!
                                I am in a state of monstrous frustration and i hope i dont meet anyone who works in Dell Technical support. Coz if i did, I would be the first person to shove up the dell laptop in there !@#$%^!!!!

                                  Hi. I bought an XPS 15 L501X in February 2011. It was customized with good specifications for heavy use programs. It worked fine for a month but then started giving me problems. It became terribly slow, and couldn't handle small softwares and hanged occasionally. Since then, the laptop has been serviced multiple times, and internal parts like hard drive were changed twice. Then when the problems persisted, i escalated the issue and they took the laptop to Bangalore for servicing and gave it after a month, without providing me with a backup. The Bangalore team said that there were no issues and gave it back. After a month from returning, my laptop crashed and they replaced the HD for the third time. Now even after that, my laptop slows down and hangs up frequently. It hangs sometimes even when its idle. I am fed up of contacting dell and getting no result.

                                    I have purchased Dell Inspiron n5110 Laptop on october 2010.My service tag number is hxltvq1.After 15 days it started giving problem.I had lots of faith on Dell but my faith and believe breaks.Its better to purchase any other company because its worthless to purchase Dell because they are not giving the quality.I have launched complaint but they have not solved my problem. My complaint number is[protected]. I am suffering from the following problem in my laptop.

                                    1. It is getting too heat within 10 minutes times. This is too risky to use may be burst.
                                    2. Battery backup is poor. Battery capacity is less than 40 minutes after full recharge.
                                    3. Internal Hardware sounds are coming. May be there is some hardware problem.
                                    4. Some keys i.e. “6” on keyboard are not working properly. Required to push hard.
                                    5. Processing speed is very slow even it is virus free and not having more data in my hard disk.

                                    Due to above Laptop problems, I am getting lots of problem in my studies as well as project works. This is directly affecting to my studies and growing future. They have said me that they will replace my laptop but they are wasting their time as well as my time.So, I am going to take legal action against them and will never suggest anyone to purchase Dell laptop in future.

                                        I am a professor, Loyola College, Chennai. I bought a new Dell Laptop with service tag FPYNRX1 and service code[protected] from Pinnacle Dell Store, Anna Nagar Chennai, on 15th Feb'2014. After the billing was done they opened the pack and explained the features on my laptop. They found that one of my USB ports(close to the HDMI port) not responding with my pen drive, 3G Data card and the dongel for wireless mouse. They told me to contact the customer care as it was due to some software issues. I tried the customer care but I was unable to contact them since it was a saturday. Finally I contacted the customer care on Monday(17th Feb'2014) but they said the mother board has to be replaced. how can I accept for the replacement of mother board for such a defective laptop that too immediately after the the payment of Rs.45500. When I asked the salesperson in the Dell Store about this faulty machine, he proved himself to be very rude after selling the machine. So I humbly request you to replace the laptop itself as I am completely dissatisfied with such a selling of a defective product to the customer by the Dell Store.
                                        Totally disappointed with the new dell laptop since the Dell people don't even inspect the product before it is packed.
