At first , my sincere advice to all Indians , please avoid dish TV DTH . The way India united against corruption, in some way we should unite against the private service providers who provides even worst service than Govt agencies. At least they suppose to help the customers at the cost of what they charge us. The monopoly of dish network on DTH is just too much. it has got poorest customer care and I gurantee you will just be frustrated by their monotonous replies. No commitment on what they say and no prompt response for any service you need for them . Being in a city , complaints are unanswered for days , then forget about rural areas. Roping Saharukh khan as endroser does not help a customer , rather good service helps.

Please avoid dish tv connection in future . At least it is my duty to let know my fellow Indians about this before they become a victim. Jai Hind....

With due regards ...

I am not sure if anyone will read this email or it is directly redirected to some junk folder.
If someone is really seeing this mail then I would request him/her to read till end.

I just want to let you know how I am feeling about myself of being a Dish TV HD DTH customer .
And I am wondering is it really the Asia's largest DTH Company . It may be true as you guys are in market for years. If the kind of service that you provide goes on ..I am sure you wont be.

You guys have the poorest pf poor customer service. A bunch o[censored]neducated who does not even know how to speak are there in customer care. You dont have escalation procedure. If some one is not satisfied with the representative, he can not complain to higher authorities. No transparency in complaints and resolution systems. Those guys just reply you with all common answers except for what exactly you need.

They dont bother to resolve your complaints. I personally registered many complaints in last 5 months, none of them are addressed till now. And they will never be answered too.
What is making you guys to feel like Govt officers. At least they are doing better job now a days ...far better than you. Your service is just pathetic. Its a torture. We dont have proper legal system, otherwise you guys should be behind bars for mental harassment.

If you do Google on "DTH complaints india", then you can see how many complaints on Dish Tv's name and how many are with others. You are NO 1 in this regard. How shameful it is. But you guys are simply unaffected by it. I think you have got a whole bunch of INEPT team whose motto is not to deliver.

I salute your guts of being a private company and providing such pathetic service still exist on market. I am going to create online awareness ... creating blogs and in facebook and will request for not to opt for this service.

Roping Saharukh khan as brand face does not help ..but good service and customer feed back helps.

      sir,
      we have recharged for 900rs,but still recharge message we didn't receive and our balance is zero......so many channels what we were receiving is now removed......i think the dealers might not have recharged but he took money from us...... pls look forward for this......

      I Jagdesh s. waran have recharged for golden pack of Rs 255 on 03 Jul 2012 by net banking from my Axis bank accountICONN/49638730/030712/CCAVENUE.com, but still recharge message we didn't receive and our balance is zero. Please look forward for this matter Till now I could not received any signal of dish TV.

        I call for new conection dish tv HD to[protected].on 2/4/2011 and i had a call from sales& guy came for deleverd me a HD box &he promised for installation the tachnical guy well come to install with with cable. HDMI cable&dish well be done till evening dated 4/4/2011. no one came till 7/4/2011.12am &i call to custumer care dish tv he said it well be install within 24 hrs and after 24 hrs again i called c care by 5 pm then hi said it well be install by 8 pm, again i call by 9pm and talk to superviser mr arvind he said it well be install on 8/4/2011by 12am still i am wating...............................................           Dear Sir,

          I have been a DishTV consumer for a long time now (VC no. [protected]). I do my recharges for the Platinum pack well before the due date every month and try to be punctual every time while paying any money to the company. I think as a consumer I have all rights to expect similar behavior from the company's side - service and behavior that should make a customer like me happy if not "delighted". I am sure you would appreciate the efforts of all service providing companies attempting to "delight" customers - it has become a very high priority nowadays.

          5 days back, I was suddenly not able top view quite a few channels - the usual dish alignment problem. I proceeded to lodge a complaint through the DishTV helpline ([protected]) and was given 24hrs time till resolution and reference number 56538314. Time passed - India won the world cup and so much happened in the world but still no technician turned up at my place and no calls from DishTV or anything - many channels still were blanked out. I called up the Bangalore helpline [protected] many times to know about any developments and was always assured of "quick action" and "prompt action within 2 hrs", callbacks and what not - funnily nothing concrete happened.

          However, as I write this email after 5 days and a series of calls to the helpline, my problem is still not resolved. I have reached a stage where I am so frustrated that all I want to do so is go to the rooftop - wrench the DishTV dish out and throw it in the garbage and call up the local Tata Sky, Airtel or Videocon guys to get me a fresh connection. Not only is the DishTV service being provided surprisingly bad but it also borders towards unsympathetic towards long time customers like myself and almost takes customers' and their patience for granted.

          If you at all get and read this email and maybe take some action, I must say that I will never be the same customer of DishTV ever again after being tried for my patience so badly in the last 5 days.

          For some routine information, the connection (VC No. [protected]) I mentioned above is in the name of Pratap Singh while I, Chiradeep Mukherjee use it.

            I have a dish TV connection 10 months old at beginning I was told that SET BOX, ANTEENA cover
            One year guarantee, I am not getting one Trnaspondent. it was complaint of 15th march, 2011,
            after many request & speaks C.C & assistant Manager of dish TV My complain attended on
            1st April 2011, Mechanic told me that LNB has to be change, which is not cover ant guarantee,
            why LNB is not cover. & who will give me 16 days periods, which I was unable to see my TV. Or I approach Consumer Forum

            the worst DTH service is Dish Tv, I am totally shocked I was given fix faulty LNB, at my residence
            from day one I am complaining the concern autoriyes about this, But no one is bother to lision to my Problem. they ask me to replace it after paying Rs.210/ . when it was a faulty piecs from beging

              I had taken the DISH TV HD package on 29th Jan 2011. I paid 2999 for the connection. I also took world cup HD pack. I am getting the following HD channels only -

              1. Zee TV HD
              2. Discovery HD
              3. Nat Geo HD

              1. Start Cricket HD
              2. ESPN HD

              I am not getting any other HD channels. I called your help desk and they told me that it is because I have a mono LNBF and they are planning to change it tomorrow. Since I paid for the HD package but did not get these HD channels, I asked him for a credit for that period (two months free HD package). He told me to write to you. As I write, I still do not have the LNBF changed. Pls let me know how you are going to give me the credit.

              Every time I get the message that the problem will be solved in 24 hrs. Till date the local technician has not even called me ONCE.

              Hi -

              I am sending mails daily (19 days - more than 19 mails) to that email ID. I am also keeping CFBP (council for fair business practices in loop) which is nothing but council for consumer redressal. I have kept the nodal officers - all of them. I have kept TRAI in loop.
              Let us see how/when they are going to respond.

                My VC number for my dish tv connection is [protected]​7 I had placed a complaint earlier in this regard and no action has as yet been taken by Dish Tv with regard to my getting all HD Channels. I have a platinum HD pack where I am already paying Rs. 125 extra for viewing all HD channels. I had called up their helpline and I was told that I would need to pay an additional RS 100 in order to view HD channels. I had written a mail to the Dish tv customer care email id and I had received a call saying this is a techinal issue and it would be resolved after a technician visited. My complaint number in this regard is 55440432. I sometimes get all HD channels and sometimes don't this is a repeated problem and there has been no resolution inspite of my complaining earlier at this forum. Please help as we as consumers are always at the receiving end of everything.

                  Dishtv kahti hai mera package sabse Shasta hai ,jo wrong hai isse Shasta Videocon ka hai jo 291 rupees me 267 channel channel provide kar raha hai(UTV pack and NEO pack free hai is pack me) ,

                  dishtv ka (AA-LA pack UTV pack bhi 33 rupees ka hai aur isse Airtel 15 rupees me provide kar raha hai, dishtv Shasta kaise huwa…jara mujhe koi Bata de..


                  Dishtv ki big problem WO ek baar package price increase Karen ke bad paisa kam nahi karti hai,

                  DD channel (govt. of India) ki hai Jo Tata sky , airtel and other KO bhi EPG provide kar rahi hai (free to air channel) jisme digital video quality and EPG bhi milta hai…….Yahi dishtv ko nahi mil raha hai kyon…Dishtv kuch paid cnannel par bhi EPG nahi provide kar rahi hai.


                  Dishtv ke paas abhi bhi old satellites and old software version hai, ye sabhi tab hi sahi hoga, jab tak iska internal hardware change nahi hoga.

                  1- Rain fade
                  2- Video freezing
                  3- EPG and digital video qulitey and sound (free to air)
                  4- Channel change me time lagna
                  5- Signal week hona
                  6- Paisa only Marketing par nahi, services par use karna hona.
                  7- Old software and satellite ka hona
                  8- Koi services sabse aage launch aur bad me sabse peeche hona.
                  9- Daily base par kuch Na kuch problem aana.
                  10- Process ka bahut slow hona.
                  11- Channel change karte samay 301 signal not found aana.

                  Dishtv new new problem lati jaise Licping problem.(video and audio sath -sath nahi run karna)

                  Dishtv only adding for Bhojpuri channel in platform and IBN7 Aur B4U MOVIES....


                  Dishtv delete your channel in dishtv platform –ye sabhi Faltu channel add karke no. is channel count kar rahi hai.

                  Dish TV — missing video images of channels

                  Hi.i have complaint related to Dish TV .i only heared the sound of my Fav. channels like ESPN, AXN but the vedio is not displayed by your service...Rohit.
                  Rest of the channels are working properly but the problem is occured only with ESPN & AXN ...

                  Dishtv No.1 BAD services provider.
                  Mere se 4 days pahle Mr. Akhlesh(Maneger) se Baat hui thi,Unko maine 3 complain bataya,wo mujhe 2 din ka time le liya uske bad bhi result nahi aaya hai.maine call kiya to caal pick nahi kar raha hai.ab mai mail kar raha hoon.

                  Mujhe Written me With sign chahiye ki- - -
                  Baarish(Rain) me dishtv sabse pahle closed hota hai.
                  Halki rain me bhi ye closed hone lagta hai.jabki Tata sky nahi closed hota hai
                  DD channel par Epg dishtv nahi provide nahi kar raha hai jab ki other DTH isse provide kar rahi hai.(GOVT. OF INDIA) sabke liye barabar hoti hai.
                  Sabse jyada video freezing dishtv me hi hota hai.
                  Channel change me 4 se 5 second ka time and freezing hota hai.
                  Singel dishtv ka sebse kam hota hai 60 aand 70 % other DTH 100% provide karti hai.
                  Har din kuch na kuch problem jarur aati hai dishtv me.
                  Dishtv kahta hai ki 2 din ka EPG provide karta hai jabki 1 din ka hi EPG customer ko milta hai.
                  Kuch channel jo customer 1 year se mail and call kar ke kaha ki dishtv ke pleatfrom par laya jaye –B4U movies,Voice of india,TEZ, Dilli aaj tak,,Sahara NCr,Sangeet Bhojpuri,Sobhagya Mithla,IBN7,Yo music,One Mh news,UTV Bindaas,Neo Creckt and sports,Praghya,DivyaMahuwa news. Ye sabhi chaneel me se koi ek bhi abhi tak nahi aaya aur jo sabse FALTU channel hai jo koi nahi dekta wo channel lata hai dishtv –Disha channel,sakti tv,Zee salaam,Gyamdarshan 1,2

                  Mujhe ye samajh me nahi aata hai ki dishtv apne aap ko NO.1 kyon kahti hai ,only NO. of channel se koi NO.1 nahi hota aur kahne ya bolne se NO.1 nahi hota hai NO.1 hota hai services se jo oter DTH ne provide kar raha hai.
                  No.1 kahna closed karo and 999 channel par dish ki taarif bandh karo……

                  Dishtv kahti hai mera package sabse Shasta hai ,jo wrong hai isse Shasta Videocon ka hai jo 265 rupees me 243 channel channel provide kar rahi hai , aur dishtv ka (AA-LA pack UTV pack bhi 33 rupees ka hai aur isse Airtel 15 rupees me provide kar rahi hai, dishtv Shasta kaise hoga…



                  package ka price ko kam karne ke bina price me improvemt kar raha hai.

                  Dishtv 4 saal me abhi tak koi major problem KO solved nahi kiya hai………..

                  Wo rain fade problem ho,
                  Video freezing ki,
                  Free to air channel par EPG and Digital video and audio quality….

                  DD (govt. of India) ki hai Jo Tata sky and airtel KO bhi provide kar rahi hai (free to air channel) jisme video qulitey and EPG bhi milta hai…….

                  Other DTH me rain fade nahi hota and video freezing nahi and Free to air par EPG ka hona, WO bhi 7days ka and channel change me second ka bhi time nahi lagna.

                  Abhi kuch din pahle dishtv ne HD BOX launch kiya , usme bhi kuch na kuch kami nikal gayi……….usme only platinum pack hi run karta hai..

                  Uska copy karke other DTH one week me HD box lunch kiya but usme sabhi pack run karta hai..

                  Abhi bhi samjh nahi aaya dishtv KO itne saal ke baad kuch lunch kar raha hai to kuch Na kuch kami rah jaye….

                  Dishtv se other dth bhaut aage badh Gaya hai …..

                  Dishtv ke paas abhi bhi old satellites and old software version hai.. ye sab tab hi sahi hoga, jab tak iska interal change nahi hoga tab tak ye sabhi problem solved nahi hoga…

                  Other DTH me koi prolem nahi aati hai and WO apne aap ko NO.1 bhi nahi kahti aur dishtv itna add karne ki kosish bhi nahi karti hai..

                  Other DTH sabhi riginal channel ko add karti hai aur dishtv only south and Marithi, gujrati and south channel ko add karti hai..

                  Other DTH dishtv se copy karke sarv gun sampran hogayi hai aur dishtv ki ussi Blind gali me round karwa rahi hai customer ko..

                  Dishtv only adding for Bhojpuri channel in pleatfrom and IBN7 Aur B4U MOVIES....

                  I am very unhappy with the services of Dish Tv. I had recharged my account on 24th Jan 2011 as my renewal was due from 28th Jan 2011. I had renewed for titanium pack(as my earlier pack was titanium)according to which I had to pay Rs 3550 and my account was supposed to get renewed for 28th Jan 2012 and I was to get UTv pack free for a year(as said the titanum pack).

                  I paid through the Dish Tv dealer the amount 3550 on 24th Jan 2011 after confirming from the helpline and I was said that I could pay by any mode. But I got the message on 24th Jan night that my Dish Tv was renewed only upto 27th Jan 2011 and I did not get any channel o[censored]Tv.

                  When I inquired the Dish Tv coustomer care I was said to call after 2hrs as they said that our system is not updated. I called again after 2hr and again I was said to call farther 2hrs later. This thing went on for almost two day. Then on 26th evening I had a talk with Mr. Danish and he said that they have renewed for patinum pack so I am not getting UTv and 1 month less. But what I could not belive this as I got a message that I have been renwed for titanium pack.I had a long argument with him and at last he told me that I will get a call back from his senior as he will be able to tell me better. But I didnot get any call back from them. This really is disgusting on the part of Dish Tv that when they could not properly serve their existing customer how will they server the new ones. The same thing happend with me last year during the renewal.

                  I would like to tell the conserend person that this is a compititive world and if you keep on soing this then it is not good for them and will loose the coustmer and will not have the good image in the market as mouth to mouth publicity matters a lot.

                  Also a new thing in this eppisode, today(27th Jan) when I called the coustomer care to check the status (as my UTv channels started coming), I was informed by Mr. Sagar to called back after 2hrs as our system is on update and I was told my balance was Rs. 700 credit and was valid for 28th Nov 2011.

                    I have puchased Samsung 40 inch LCD from great eastern.With that a dish tv true hd connection is free.I was given a voucher and called dish tv cutomer care they told me that the their technician will come to my home and installed this within 72 hours.After 96 hours gone and i dont get any response from them.So i again called their customer care they told me they will call me within 2hours.again i dont get any call from them.So I called them again and their executive told me that they will install the service within 24 hours .yet i dont get any response from them so i have called them once again they told me that they will call me within 2hours.

                    I dont know what wrong with thiese guys.The experience is really pathetic.I dont know wat to do!!!

                      The Dish Tv is the worst service provider in India. My complain No. is 56164262. I was commited connection within 72 hours but even after 100 hours no commitments kept.. After speaking with Mr. Sunil, Shweta and Mr. Daljit ( Representative on phone no- [protected] )no one kept the commitments and still no conection or call received from Dishtv.

                      I was conformed connection 3times after that within the same day but all in vain.

                      I would request all the readers not to use dihtv nahi to buri tarah phas jaypge.

                      Bhagwan bachaye in jhotee logo se.

                      Worst worst service provider in Eastern India with no commitments, 5 times commitments failed.

                      Really worst one. Be aware of Dish Tv or else it will bite you till you change it.

                        When called on 24 March 2011, after 48 Hrs of booking, Dish TV told the order was not confirmed.
                        So, Order got confirmed after 48 Hrs insted of Installation and further promise of Delivery & Installation within 48 Hrs.
                        When called on 26 March 2011 after 48 Hrs, Dish TV HD told that Technitian will give call.

                        Neither call received no installation after 48Hrs + 48 Hrs = 96 Hrs from time of Booking.

                        DISH TV HD connection — Pathetic Service of Dish TV

                        Hi, I got a Dish TV HD Platinum connection installed at my place on 11th Feb 2011 and my VC no. is [protected]. After half an hour of the installation, suddenly due to bad weather, signal got dropped and signal error message started showing up on my TV. After waiting for long I did a complaint on their customer care no.[protected] on 13th Morning around 10 am and the complaint no. is 54123877. I talked to Ms. Bindu who is a customer care executive and she assured me that the engineer will visit my place within 24 hours. But as expected, engineer did not visit my place & the problem is still there. Then I called customer care in 14th morning and got the same response from customer care executive and that day also no body visited my place. I again called customer care on 14th Feb evening but did not get any response. Today is 15th Feb and its now more than 48 hours since I’ve launched a complaint but no body visited my place and the problem is still there. I’ve tried customer care no. 6 times since morning. Out of it 2 times I’ve been put on hold for more than 20 minutes & then suddenly call got dropped.

                        1 time I speak with Mr Ajay who is the supervisor for customer care and he assured me that engineer will visit my place by 15th evening 4 pm and he assured a call back on my no. Neither the engineer visited to my place nor I got a call back from the service center.

                        Then 1 again called the customer care & while the executive was connecting me to the supervisor suddenly because of no reason call got disconnected.

                        Then 1 called for the fifth time and talked to Mr. Dheeraj, who also says is the Sr. Supervisor for customer care. I asked them to refund my money and disconnect the connection as I’m highly dissatisfied from the services & irresponsible behavior of the customer care. He managed to convince me with the assurance the today only my problem will be rectified.

                        Finally I got a call from no. [protected] which is an authorized customer service center and they said that engineer will visit to my place by 6 pm. But again a fake commitment and no body visited my place. Infact when I called them for the follow up, they disconnected my call. I called them again and again for 4-5 times and all the time they disconnected my call. Later on they put their no. on not reachable mode.

                        From all the above events you can easily make out the kind of harassment Dish TV customers are facing. This shows the delinquency, irresponsibility and non-courteousness of DishTV towards its customers. Even the senior management do not care about the customers, so what can we expect from the customer care executives.

                        You cannot play with customer’s time & money so I want you to take some serious action against all those who are involved in the whole incident and let me know the further action taken on this complaint. If you are not taking any action on this complaint then also plz let me know so that I take this forward in other way to the larger forum.

                        Dish TV HD — Very poor service and installation issue

                        Hi ( To Whomsoever this may concern)

                        The background of this complaint is, I had booked a TruHD connection on 1st April 2011. As per your promise I got a call on Saturday (3rd) and that person Shekar promised to send the personnel on Monday/Tuesday. On Tuesday the engineer comes at 7.30 pm and does the installation of the Dish. When he tries to install the Set Top Box , the POWER ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK. This STB that he has got is supposed to be a NEW one but still it does not work. THIS IS THE FIRST AND FOREMOST MISTAKE. The engineer says that he will get the adapter the next day.

                        Finally I provide him an adapter which was my old Tata Sky connection and he installs the STB. After the STB is installed he says that the account will not be activated till the next day as the office is CLOSED. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE when we are paying a whopping Rs.3500. I accept this and as per his words leave the STB on the next day.

                        The next day i.e. Today, I try to call Mr.Satish ([protected]) and he does not receive my call, Shekar ([protected]) - the phone is switched off. Finally call the engineer who came for installation , he cuts the call and switches off the phone. So I have not received the ADAPTER YET. I come home and see that the connection is not yet activated. IT HAS BEEN 24 HRS AND THE CONNECTION IS NOT YET ACTIVATED, THE PERSON RELATED TO THIS DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. This is not at all acceptable.

                        I have paid Rs. 3433 to Shiva Shakthi Associates, Bangalore receipt number : 1606.

                        This service on the first day of the connection is not at all acceptable, as the Indian Government has a facility for Consumer Compaint reporting, I have all the trace of the transactions. As per norms I will wait for DishTV's response for the customer request (this one), failing to which I will have to raise a Consumer Complaint.

                        I hope you understand the problem of the customer and respond to this immediately.

                        Dish TV HD — Pathetic Customer Service

                        The reason is that I am extremely dissatisfied with the after sales service. I will make sure that I inform my coworkers not to buy a Dish HD connection. The customer service is a joke. I have not been able to view any HD channels and some SD channels since almost a week now ( when you consider that I got the connection only 10 days ago). After registering multiple complaints, I get an sms from them saying that you will be sending a technician on 4th of May. However, when I call the technician he says he wont come today. I call hiss boss and his boss says that he has sent the technician.The technician is then rude and yells on the phone " Whats your problem Sir? What channels are you not getting? I am too far off to come today. I will come tomorrow" . After sometime, the technician and the boss both don’t answer any calls. I call their customer care and the supervisor says he will make sure to call me back. He never calls. It’s a bloody disgrace.. I leave office early to make sure I am available when the technician comes. I want a disconnection and my money back. I did not pay 3700 bucks for this. They told me that you can’t reimburse and the only option is to sell the STB for 400 bucks. It’s a freaking joke. And no, this cannot be excused. I will not be okay even if thensend a tech first thing tomorrow morning. These lot should be ashamed of themselves. 20 HD channels are of no worth. There’s no point in buying a Dish HD connection when they don’t even provide the HD channels you pay for.
                        The customercare is an even bigger joke. They can't do anything. I have complained multiple times. All they say is please give us sometime to resolve this problem. I am disgusted by the service. There is no quick resolution.

                          I have a DishTV connection for last 1 year. I recently wanted to upgrade and go for HD alacarte services. Since March 5th I have been calling their customer service but the problem is not resolved. Everytime I have to repeat the whole history of my complaint, the person will either direct me to a wrong option or commit that my problem will be rectified without fail within 24 hrs and then I will have to call back because there is no response at all. A person from DishTV authorized service came and changed my Monoblock in the antenna but customer care says there is no record. They have made me so frustrated that I want to have nothing to do with DishTV or ZEE network for the rest of my life and future births. I have noticed that DishTV customer care is the worst I have seen so far. There are other worst providers but DishTV tops the list. Their customer care executives have been taught to just repeat the same mundane stuff and commit to 24 hrs without any sanctity of the commitment and they are shameless in making the same commitment again and again. If you have a lot of patience and lot of time with you please opt for them. Otherwise never even think of opting for DishTV.

                            I have purchased a Samsung LCD TV on 8th mar 2011, along with it i was offered a DishTV Tru HD service as part of the offer, and was told to send an SMS with My voucher no to 57575 for a Dishtv guys to install the DTH service.

                            I did get a reply message that one of the DishTv representatitves would come in next 72 hrs for installtion, after about four days, i logged a complaint with customer care of Dishtv on 12th mar 2011 with the comp no : 55563325, and than i was told the prob would be rectified within 72 hrs. but till date i.e 20th mar 2011 there has been no response from them, inspite of multiple calls, all i get them from is that " sorry for inconvience will get back to you latest by 24 hrs".

                            I hope some thing can be done about, the most disgusting thing is the impunity and apathy they show towards customers, I have again registered a complaint with their customer serivce, all in in vain and drain no response from what so ever , the new complaint no is 56207327

So I have called your Customer Care No. 0120 – 2550000 on 20.03.2011 at 9.30 to 9.45 P. M. approx from my registered mobile No. [protected]. Your Customer Care Executive provides me following information:
                              A) My mobile no. which I have given in subscription form that no not properly entered in your database so I have not received any information about my recharge date and other information. Then I request to your executive that register my mobile no. [protected] and Email: [protected]@gmail.com for proper communication and service.
                              B) I asked your executive for my A/c not updated then he informed me that my next recharge on 26.04.2011 and I have updated my Plan from Silver Saver Pack to Platinum Pack w.e.f. 11.07.2010. Regarding the same I have following quarries and demand:
                              a) I have subscribed for Silver Saver Pack with Marathi. So I would like to know who has upgraded my Plan and mode of communication for contacting for up gradation from Silver Saver Pack to Platinum Pack. Kindly provide me details of the same. You can note here my mobile no. [protected] not properly registered till 20.03.2011. On which day or w.e.f. the Platinum Pack activated.

If you have activated Platinum Pack without my permission and wish to charge any amount from me for the above service, I tell you here that I will not bear / paid any amount for your faulty service.                                 Hi,

                                I have surrendered my DishTV set top box after keeping that junk piece for close to 1.5 months because of very poor customer service and equally pathetic service from the local dealer. The customer care executives are either incompetent or brainless; they don't understand your problem in the first place and when you ask them to connect to your senior, they don't do so. Most of the times I got replies that "for this problem you should contact your nearest dealer". The nearest dealer is a total fraud, he never picks up your call and make false promises of problem resolution.

                                After 15-20 days of installation, I started experiencing problems with my STB. After making several calls to the customer care and to the local dealer, I did not get my STB replaced for 10 days. Finally after the 10th day, I got it replaced with a very old and ugly looking STB by the local dealer. It worked fine for initial 2 days and then it stopped working with the error message "Unsubscribed channel/recharge your account". After this, my real ordeal started with the customer care and the dealer. I used to make around 10 calls in a day to the customer care and atleast 20 calls in a day to the local dealer. The customer care executives had no clue about the problem and would say to contact the local dealer. The local dealer, to my surprise, will never pick up my call. Even when the local dealer picked up my call, he would make false promise of getting my problem resolved in 2 hours or 4 hours or same day or next day, but that never happened. The obvious reasons - shortage of staff, address not located, traffic jams and the technician could not reach your place, tried calling you but your cell not reachable and all the crap which you can imagine under this sun. To my horror, the replaced STB by the dealer had an old VC card which was deactivated and was of some other customer and had the validity left for just 2 days. My DishTv services were not working for the continuous 6 days because of the negligence on the part of the dealer and the carelessness of the customer care. The dealer repeatedly promised to me to get my original STB in 3 days after repair and my original VC card in the replaced STB in one day, but till date that didn't happen. So finally, after going through so much of pain, frustration and mental disturbance, I decided to surrender my STB to the local dealer and do away with the poor services of DishTV.

                                I strongly recommend strict and stern action against the local dealer who paid no heed to my complaints and showed a very callous attitude.

But before ending the month of June, we cant able to see our dish connection. I placed a comlplaint to the dealer, Mr Santosh Patkar before a week. But he did not pay any attaintion on my complaint.I want to continue my account again.. but the dealer is not co-operate with us...You please help us to start our connection as soon as possible...

                                Totally agree with you. Even I am facing the similar problem. These guys are cheat.

                                I gurantee because of such dealers DishTV will not have much customer base in North Delhi.

                                I will also dis-continueing the connection primary reason poor service from "Vashisht Electronics" and Customer care.

                                  Refund of Security Deposit

                                  I had purchased Dish TV on 28 November 2005, and since then I was subscribing for it. As per the company conditions, if I surrender the Antenna System after 5 years from purchase, I am supposed to get back my security deposit of Rs.2,490/-; as the same is guaranteed in the receipt given to me.                                     This is reference to Dish TV connection, website, customer care no([protected]) and horrible service.
                                    I am writing to you after so much of suffering and agony caused by this stupid service. I don't know which fool created the website which is a junk. You cannot choose and renew your channels properly.
                                    The connection itself is a terror it reboots often. It hangs as it is drunk. This customer care no is absolutely fake. From chennai i have been trying this --pressing one for english it disconnects again u try another language it disconnects. How would u use this number. I humble request is to close the company. They r not fit to run the show. I[censored] r reading this and have guts call me. I'm not sorry for writing this.

                                      Beware.....they take the money the do not service and humiliate you.

                                      This is the 5th time I have an sms closing my complaint without anyone visiting...it is indeed very tough to do business with you. On top of it you give mobile numbers of your staff allocated to do the job....they are obnoxious and insulting to speak to.....almost makes it as if you are doing us a favor for being a customer. The complaint (if at all you do trace history) is dated 20th Feb and is linked to the mistake I made taking your HD product (tata sky service is much better based on the unit I have taken from them)....if you refund my HD box money I will be delighted to go with them.

                                      Please see that the complaint is handled.
