Dear concerned,

I purchased a new dish tv connection on flipkart vide order number od[protected].

I got a call from [protected] saying he cannot install in my area since local cable operators do not allow.

What kind of nonsense is this?

I want a clarification and prompt installation in this regard.

I was enjoying all channels as per old pack - but suddenly they have imposed a "popular" basic pack which is not having lot of missing channels including free channels. Even regional channel which i had before are discontinued. Now they are. Saying you ask model for this

    My dish tv was installed last saturday on 9th march.
    But i am unable to register/activate it.
    It is showing vc number not registered with us.

    Could you please look into the issue.
    I am waiting from 4 days for activation and service person not picking my phone after installation.
    I have tried calling customer support repeatedly but they are not able to talk any language except kannada which is strange.

      Hi,

      I subscribed for dishtv on 04 feb 2019 and the installation was done very next day.

      However since one month i am unable to register my mobile number so that i can select my channels or packs.

      They gave me full hd pack for the first month and now are continuing to charge for it, even though i do not need it. I cannot change the pack as well. Tried to send multiple messages to 57575 and customer care call center. Messages fail and customer care center is not help full at all.

      I recharge my set top box on 4 March 2019 of 258 Rs in which were given zee family pack and discovery channel pack but these channels are not available to us.Customer care contacted many times regarding this problem but no solution was given to us.

        I had recharged my dishtv vc number [protected] for rs. 100/- on 09/03/2019 but dishtv had sent me a message of recharge date 06/03/2019 and switch off date 09/03/2019 which means for rs. 100/- dishtv had not given a single day validity. I had contacted their customer service via phone and email but they haven't given me proper response.
        Email from them shows that we have received rs 100/- from you on 09/03/2019 and you switch off date is 09/03/2019. Their answer is much controversial as it could not be possible. But they are not giving me any response/solution/billing invoice after repeated requests. I had also requested to change my pack to my apna pack but they haven't given any response for that while their system showed that your request will be processed in 15 minutes. I am attaching the screenshots of their mail and system produced message with token number

        Moreover, it has been informed that Rs. 48.65 was utilised against pay
        later charges (Connection was activated on pay later service from
        18/08/2018 to 20/08/2018), Rs. 25 as a processing fee and rest of amount
        utilized for subscription 08/03/2019 to 09/03/2019. As of now there is an
        outstanding pending of Rs. 7.82 on your VC [protected].
        The above quoted reply shows that dishtv is hiding his fraud behind the outstanding pending in my account which is totally wrong because I had never been requested for any such service . This statement is to Justify their fraud only .
        The other question of showing recharge date 06/03/2019 is unsolved/impossible as nobody can go back into the past.
        The reply by the dishtv is is another form of fraud to justify their mistakes and I totally reject that answer as nobody can visit through past.

            My customer id is 83658377 of d2h. From last two months i am trying to change my plan as per the new trai rules. But i am not able to make any change in my plan. As a result i am not getting the channels compared to the amount i am paying.

            For same, i tried to contact customer care by using phone and dropped an email as well. But on that too they are not responding. Moreover, i tried to reset my login credentials. But that too is not working on their website as well as application.

            Requesting you to look into this matter and give me a solution on this.

              I am consumer of dish tv cable network my vc no. Is [protected].
              There are no program channel in my tv set since last two days.
              For which reason many times contact toll free customer care no. But no contact.
              After that sms on 57575 call me 10:03 :2019 at 8:22 pm and once again 11:03:2019 at 3:50 pm.
              However the call came from dish tv but they did not listen to me. Nor has any solution to my problem till now.
              So i very upset with this behavior of dish tv.
              So hopefully there will be proper action on dish tv.

                    Hi,
                    I am ashish from kanpur. I am a coustomer of dishtv (Set top box) dish provider from couple of years.
                    I just recharged my set top box account with rs. 200/- on dated 6/3/2019 but channel were blocked after recharge. So i contacted with coustomer help line on the same date, they adviced me to update my set top box immediately to watch all the channels.
                    So i made the payment of rs 399/- and on dated 7/3/2019 my set top box had been changed by authorised person of dishtv.
                    My account number of set top box also changed after updates...
                    When i asked for my balance amount of last recharge of 200/- then the person replied it will be credit to new account within 24 hours.
                    But amount didn't transferred. After many contacts they replied that amount is not transable..
                    So what happened with my payment?
                    Dishtv is making fool or cheating on basis o[censored]pdate the set top box.
                    It's not a good coustomer service that you are taking much amount but i am getting nothing.
                    Please resolve asap!

                      Hi,

                      Before the circular from trai, i had opted for a package from dish tv, which subscribed my connection with all channels in full hd. This offer was valid only if i make one time payment towards annual subscription. While subscribing for annual package i was committed for all channels in hd for full year, which dish tv is failing to honor due to new rule from trai.

                      I had made annual payment to obtain benefits which service provider can no longer provide. I have been following up with them from last one month and i have not heard back from them on any resolution. Infact one of the executives claimed that we cannot refund and you have to continue using the service.

                      If the service provider has chosen to follow the trai guideline and break the contract then subscriber should also have liberty to opt out of plan and get refund against the balance amount.

                      I have been following up on this from last whole month and have got no resolution. One of the executive named Rahul from Dish TV called me and asked if my phone number is linked with BHIMPaytm. I replied yes it is linked with Paytm and he said that refund will be initiated to my paytm account.

                      I also have recording of that conversation. Let me know if I have to mail you the same.

                        @trai we are really fed up with @dishtv_india. Their site is worst site ever for cchannel selection. While displaying channels list there is no scrolling feature available so one can never check the entire list. I believe this is done to force customers to blindly opt for for dish tvs preselected bouquet only. This is shameful and loot. Plus there customer care no never responds. Please do something about it.

                          Sir, i am a resident of north india, but presently i am posted in bangalore. I had applied for dish tv in nov or dec 2018, and they gave me a connection and took about 2300 rs. From me, but after the information of new rules of trai, which started from feb 19, i gave an advance request of new pack but it was not activated. Now i want to change the pack for which i was told that alignment has to be changed. But it is since 18 feb, when my complaint no.[protected] was registered, but it has not been resolved yet even after many calls and reminders giving the reason that your area is eligible only for cable connection. The company has south channels/pack, but i want to view north channels. Very costly package is provided to me which is of no use to me. My complaint is that why the connection was given and money was taken. Now they say that you arrange for a local technician. Lot of my time has been wasted due to it for requesting them to do the needful again and again. I want that dish should be disconnected and money taken from me along with compensation.

                            I’m writing this letter to report a conflict i’m having with dish tv service providers.
                            I have recharged my dish tv account in nov 2017 during a offer period of dish tv which is non stop entertainment plan (Bharat pack + hindi entertainment) for 3 years in amount of 1179 but now many of the channels like rishtey cinplex cinema (Colours cinplex), b4 u movies, dd national, epic tv, dd sports and many other channels have been switched off by distv without any information from my valid plan and for this i have also register complain many times through customer care but not get any response.

                            Customer-care operators are only saying that they have removed paid channels but i also inform you that i have paid for channels which are in my plan (Non stop entertainment) of 2017 which is valid till 2020 then how distv can remove these channels before validity. I would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible and request you to understand my situation and take appropriate action.

                            Again very disappointed with the service of Dish tv, Earlier only one or two channels like RISHTEY CINPLEX AND EPIC TV is removed from my valid package by giving plea that they are paid channels but now from today again they have stopped sony pal, sony wah, zanmol cinema and many other channels which are started on sunday when i complaint on customer care but again they have stopped these channels.

                            I am really fedup with the type of service which dishtv is giving.

                              I would like to bring to your kind notice, how your customer care executive /person who are recharging the connection is creating non sense and harassing

                              I got them recharged on 07.03.2019, before due date and send the list of channels selected by me and paid rs.518.00 on 07.03.2019. You have send the acknowledgement vide token number [protected] &[protected].
                              Now i have received 08 messages from dish tv with in two days informing me
                              1. You have recharged of rs. 511.00, switch off date 14.04.2019. Message received at 6.57 p m on 08.03.2019.
                              2. You have recharged of rs. 518.00, switch off date 09.04.2019. Message received at 8.29 p m on 08.03.2019.
                              3. You have recharged of rs. 534.00, switch off date 12.04.2019. Message received at 8.48 p m on 08.03.2019.
                              4. You have recharged of rs. 518.00, switch off date 08.03.2019. Message received at 8.51 p m on 08.03.2019.
                              5. You have recharged of rs. 557.00, switch off date 10.04.2019. Message received at 9.51. A m on 09.03.2019.
                              6. You have recharged of rs. 544.00, switch off date 07.04.2019. Message received at 9.54. A m on 09.03.2019.
                              7. You have recharged of rs. 590.00, switch off date 05..04.2019. Message received at 9.58 p m on 09.03.2019.
                              8. You have recharged of rs. 526.00, switch off date 28.03.2019. Message received at 10.08. A m on 08.03.2019.
                              Is it not nonsense after 3 / 4 minutes or 10 minutes they are sending the message that you have recharged for this amount and your switch off date is this, which is every time changing, date and amount.
                              Please instruct them not to create non sense and harass the customer. I
                              Have paid rs 518.00 as per the channel selected by me and you have send
                              The acknowledgement. You please recharge my both connection of
                              Rs.518.00 for month and give me the discount of rs. 50.00 (25 +25) as

                                  I have 3 TV connections with DISH TV. They have migrated the plans to new one and everything has gone. They are charging Rs1100 but no channels are working. Not even star plus or Sony. I have raised complaints regularly from last 5 days but DISH TV is not resolving the issue and my family is not able to watch anything at all. When I ask to quit and get refund for the connections so that I can switch to some other service provider, DISH customer care is not ready to take my request.

                                    I want to mention something regarding the above subject that i have recharged dish tv twice 1st recharge on 1-1-19 of rs 345 and 2nd on 8-1-19 of rs 385 (Maxi sports pack). I am failing to access any channel. Also, has lost my rs 730. Most of the time when i call them they often says me "we have reset the system and keep ur setup box on for 15 min" but that does not work at all. Recently when i call them on toll free number one of them mr akshay from noida told that system is not working. So please resolve my problem at the earliest.

                                      I recharge my set top box on 4 march 2019 of 258 rs in which were given zee family pack and discovery channel pack but these channels are not available to us. Customer care contacted many times regarding this problem but no solution was given to us. The error displaying in the the television is 301-signal not found. We ask customer care for this problem many times but they were telling us same thing every time that there is a problem in your set top box or in your antenna but we have checked it and it is alright.
