We have purchased one Electrolux refrigerator from northern region. Please find below model and dealer details:

MODEL NO:- BR30WD1
SERIAL NO:- 42BN700854 F
Dealer: VAID ELECTRONICS, Smadh Road, BATALA143505. Distt. Gurdaspur.
Punjab
Date of Purchase: 10 June 2008.

The refrigerator is not cooling properly in lower region. We have informed the same to dealer and he had sent his engineer to check the same. He simply changed some temp control but there was no recovery.

After that we have approached service centre of Electrolux in our city which is as below:
INSTA COOL SERVICES, BEECO COMPLEX ANAND AVENUE OLD MALL BATALA, BATALA, PUNJAB.

An engineer had visited and upon investigating, he informed us that some pipe was blocked and he has to clean that which he did and told us to check for a day or two and let's see if it is fixed. He has demanded Rs 100/ from us as service charges and when we have asked for receipt then he was talking here and there and has not provided us any receipt for the service he has provided. This is totally unprofessional behavior and he was rigid on his front and also he needs to be trained on the front that how to talk to a customer. This was our first embarrassing situation with Electrolux team. Now even after service centre team has visited but there is no result and even dealer is not paying any attention to that product although it has been altogether a new purchase and the same need to be resolved in stipulated time.

Now my concern is that either please replace that product or if repairable then please repairs without any charges because it was faulty from the first day of purchase.

Earlier, I was very satisfied Electrolux customer as I had another Fridge, Microwave and AC which is already running fine for years.

I request you to please resolve my issue at the earliest. Thanks.

    Subject : Need an urgent redressal of this problem – Electrolux A/C

    This is one sad and funny story of one layman consumer. Sad for consumer like me and funny for customer care service people of your products.

    I am Dr. Rohit Kulkarni, Dentist by profession. I have my clinic in Thane, India. My story begins on unfateful day of 23rd march 2008, when I happen to visit Vijay Sales shop at Ghodbunder Road in Thane. During that period there was some scheme going on Electrolux Air Conditioner, stating that there is free installation on buying the same by which I’ll end up saving Rs.1000. falling prey to that offer due to extreme heat during that starting of summer period I bought one AC with following details.EA12SCRPA1 AC 1T (N11).along with outdoor unit for same. During that buying period I was asked to give details of my address and contact no on small slip, which I had duly filled, giving my mobile no and my clinic landline no. and was also told that my installation will be done in 5 working day period.
    My frustration starts from here onwards,
    • After waiting for 7 or 8 days when I did not receive any call from Vijay Sales, I contacted them when I was told to call at their customer care office, where after giving my mobile no for verification I was told no such person like Dr.Rohit Kulkarni exist in their data. After checking with my clinic landline no they found out my receipt an product detail. And during that Vijay Sales’s team came to notice that my mobile no was mentioned as [protected], which is 11 digit, instead of [protected]. and I was told due to this no I wasn’t contacted and hence my installation wasn’t done. Though I’m sure I’ve written right no on the slip ur smart girl on billing counter wrote it wrongly without checkin it with me. And even if I’ve written the mobile no my argument is why wasn’t I ever contacted on my clinic landline no.Again after waiting for 5-7 days for installation I contacted Vijay sales customer service for reminder. I don’t want to go into details of all other difficulties getting through with right person as this is just a miniscule part of what I’ve faced later on.On some day after reminder, ur installation people dropped at my home without calling me, only to find the house locked. And after finding it locked they called me to check where I’m. After pleading with them they agreed to visit again on same next day. And on the next day I made sure I closed my clinic an be present at my house on the time given by your people. As I was getting my AC installed after complete 15 days an hence did not want to miss again.
    • On the day of installation after complete installation was done your person found out that there is no GAS in the outdoor unit of AC. But he was good enough to advice me, to contact vijay sales an get the outdoor unit changed rather than to get GAS filled in. The person named, Khalid was only person in this entire episode who was concerned for customer. He made me contact person named Mr. Ravi from one of office of Vijay sales. Who told me as all delivery vehicles had left for delivery he can replace outdoor unit only the next day. And to my surprise it was done. And there was no bound to my happiness as my AC was finally installed. But this happiness was very short lived. And real story of my plight and shrugging responsibility from one another of Vijay Sales and Electrolux customer persons started.
    • After about 15 days of normal functioning, remote controller of my AC stopped with AC temperature to get stuck on 17 degree. After contacting Electrolux Customer care I was told I’l get call back in 2 days. Which never happened. Again when I cotacted I was told that it was Vijay sales job and not theirs. Afte contacting vijay sales customer service, iwas told I’l get call in 2 days time. Again not to happen so. Finally I managed to find a person named Mr. Asad whom I should be communicating regarding my product. In between all this period the AC was stuck at 17 degree as I told, and my wife being Asthmatic patient couldn’t bear it only to fell ill. So I started to keep an alarm to get up to switch on and switch off AC during nights.
    • Well after repeated calling some time around in first week of May, one person happen to visit my place place who told us that it’s simple problem of remote controller. But unfortunately during this he shifted the Ac to auto mode with temp on 24 degrees. Which again was stuck. And to get it changed. Which I told to Mr. Asad who promised me to get done in few days time. Again after repeated reminders for next few day finally another person turned up with remote controller. And he told it’s not fault of remote controller but of the sensor.And it needs to b changed. And promised to get it changed in 2-3 days time. And told me to be in touch with Mr. Ramchandran to get the work done faster. Who again kept on promising me, day after day that it will get done in a day or two. AND I WAS TOLD BY MR.RAMCHANDRAN THAT IF I WANT MY AC TO START EARLIEST HE’L GET THE SENSOR REPAIRED RATHER THAN REPLACED, THOUGH IT BEING WARRANTY PERIOD FOR MY PRODUCT, AS REPLACING SENSOR WIL TAKE 15 DAYS ATLEAST. Which to me was ridiculous, but with the increasing heat an tired with all mental trauma I agreed. As during that time 24 degree on auto mode was almost unnoticeable cooling. So I was desperate.
    • But when the person got the REPAIRED sensor he came to know that it’s still not workin. Then I lost my cool, and called Mr. Asad asking him why should I be keeping such faulty product an why shouldn’t I get exchanged. And after conference call with certain Mr. Padmakar I was promised on 5th May that I’l get product exchanged in 10 days time as there was some kind of shifting going on in Electrolux godown. Again after waiting til 18th without any results after contacting Mr. Padmakar, he told me who should get the first AC deinstalled from Vijay sales then only he can get the new AC. Now didn’t he get to know this fact on 5th may when he promised for exchange, an wheather it’s really my job to get original Ac deinstalled?
    • Finally on 21st may I was promised by Mr. Asad that he will CLOSE THIS LONG STANDING MATTER BY WEDNESDAY 25TH. Well on again with no success till sat 28th I called Mr.Asad he was surprised to know that nobody visited my place with AC. And promised to get back to me in some time with final solution.

    I know it’s too long a story for you, but U r the last person whom I’m looking to solve the problem. An u can give me UR contact no, as I know I’l never get call back from concerned office o[censored]R. May b that’s routine practice at ur office. Or u can again give me some other authorities no to contact, which is another routine practice at ur office. As I’m giving u in short no of people I called during all this 2 months ot trauma of mine.

    And may sound harsh and stupid on my part to tell u that even if my problem gets solved, which I’ve lost hope for, I’ll never ever buy any product from Vijay sales neither will ever dare to buy any product of Electrolux in future.

    Kirti Electronics, Ghodbunder Road, Thane, is selling to customers display pieces and old pieces packed in a new box. My family is a victim of their cheating behaviour and they will not replace the product.
    I tell you all this so you can to stop buying from them and you will not be cheated.
    i really get [censored]ed by this sales company...
    and now i am going to consumer foream and regestered a case aganist that person.

      Hi,

      The refrigerator was purchased on 28/12/03 and the machine is still under warranty.

      1.The refrigerator stopped cooling in the lower chamber on 09/06/08 . I first contacted company call centre and thereafter as advised contacted company's authorised service service centre, M/s Royal Refrigeration, East of Kailash, Delhi[protected], [protected].
      2. Complaint attended on 10/06/08 . Problem area identified as Defrost timer is not working and the same is replaced on chargeable basis.
      3. The problem remains same and refrigerator totally stopped working
      4. Complaint lodged again on 11/06/08 .
      5. Attended on 12/06/08 and diagonised as Compressor is defective (jammed) .
      6. Compressor replaced and gas charging done on chargeable basis on 13/06/08. Gas filled without any vacuumization which absolutely a wrong process.
      7. After replacing the compressor also the lower chamber is not cooling properly.
      8. Again lodged a complaint on 14/06/08.
      9. Attended on 15/06/08 and informed that Bimettalic is not working and replaced.
      10.On 17/06/08 Refrigerator stopped working & complaint lodged.
      11. Attended on 19/06/08 and found the Defrost timer defective and replaced .
      12. On 24/06/08 Refrigerator agains stopped working and complaint lodged.
      13. Attended on 25/06/08 and informed that Compressor is not working and to be replaced.
      14.Attended on 26/06/08 and confirmed that compressor is not defective but there was some problem while gas charging and gas charging done again.
      15. Till date (28/06/08) regrigeartor is working fine .

      It is observed that the knowledge level of the technicians are so poor that they are just unable to identify the problem and keep on trying with trial & error method causing great eal of difficulty to customer. No Service was made, even being demanded by us, after any of the visits made.

      On the bills submitted no part /material no mentioned and also any tax amount.

      Work process adopted is not at all a standard /prescribed one which as good as a roadside standard.

      During the entire episode, the loss of food items translates to a few thousand rupees apart from the loss of time & effort and mental torture.

      I have totally lost my confidence on the product and made up my mind not to go for ( also advising others ) any product in future from Electrolux Kelvinator.

      I want my refrigerator to be checked by a competent person from the company itself only to ascertain whether any damage has been made by so called technicians from the authorised service centre during the process of fault finding and rectification.

      Electrolux free frost refrigerator — No cooling

      We have been spending alot of money on the services on our hopeless Electrolux refrigerator. Every time the concerned service fellow comes down and repairs the refrigerator and within a weeks times there is a problem in cooling. I could not understand why the reputed compnay do not take care of after sales services.

        Sir,
        I’ had purchased a Freeze from Lucknow SADANA in year 2003. Last year I've been transferred to Bhagalpur-Bihar, Here compressor of my freeze has got some problem then I contacted your local service center in june 2007 they came & said Compressor is not working it would be changed, that time my freeze was in Guarantee period they took of my freeze and returned after 3 months i.e Sep 2007, it was ok & working. In June 2008 once again my freeze has got problem, and again I called service center guys they came & said compressor is down it would be change. Then I contacted other mechanic he told me this compressor is not first hand its repaired compressor, which had fitted in your freeze. Now the guarantee period is also over .I would like to know is Electrolux giving repaired piece of compressor in guarantee period if not let me know the way out, other wise I would not have other option than going to consumer forum.

        I HAVE PURCHASED A KELVINATOR FRIDGE FROM M/S SARVODAY ENGEERING STORE PALANPUR (GUJRAT)
        from the day one this started giving me the problems (1) first its defrost system was out of order i maid complain to local delear he asked me 2 send 2 workshoap which costed me rs.200 as fair.again with in two to three month deep frizer started giving the problem initily only half of the ice tray started giving the ice cubes and then no ice cubes are forming in the tray, againg i had complaied to the dealar same attitute again he has asked to send to work shoap he told me that gas in colling coil had some problems
        so it cost me again rs.200 for fair, after keeping the fridge he sent with assurance that it will work now

        no result, in fact the dealer does not have any workshoap he gets repairs by un autharised nontechnicaly persons send back to customers, i had suffered a loat and now it is beyound my tolrance please see in this matter and do needfull, honestly u should give agencies to commited and efficient perons who can keep the image f your esteemed concer ultimately they will spoil the reputation of such a good brand in tha market, i[censored] do not interven i will not hesitate to go to consumers court iam a very senior conscultant of this areas and it doest look nice for a well reputed peson like me.

        but i have full faith in the management of the comp that u will certently help me and relived me from this mental torture..

          I had purchased this Electrolux fully automatic washing machine model ewf600fz machine from M/s Akash Sarojini Nagar in 2005.
          I have been complaining about broken pulsator of the machine for the past three weeks with ome of their authorized service providers M/s Royal Refrigeration Lajpat Nagar.
          However, till date extended assurances only. a person coming to see with assurance to replace the spare. Repeated calls for reminding to hear assurances only.
          No action.
          Very poor state of affairs.
          I want to bring these people to book for keeping the customers at mercy, with 14000 bucks going a sheer waste of money.
          They should refund the while garbage they are selling with hot offers to lure the customers.

          Electrolux Washing Machine — Replacement

          we have purchased elctrolux washing machine model no. ES70ELGl-FKA on[protected] from Digiworld sector-18, noida.The wash selector knob is not working from the very first day. we have asked them for the replacement of faulty washing machine but the service manager was forcing us to get it repaired.after 6 days they agreed to replace the machine and asked for the document .we have submitted the documents but there is no response from their side after that.

            This is to bring to your notice regarding the complaint which I have lodged, after my refrigerator failed to work properly.I had lodged a complaint on June 9, 2008, complaint number: 8c[protected]. The service boy turned a few days later, however his work did not fulfill the need. My refrigerator is still not in working condition inspite of me paying all the charges for the service. I hereby, request you to check out all the above details and restore my refrigerator in working condition as soon as possible.

            I felt happy to be an 'Electrolux' customer and your product lover ONCE .. But it has changed due to the customer service.Sir, I am from vellore, tamilnadu..I had a problem in the refrigerator within 1.5 yrs.. compressor failed..! we made complaint 20th of nov..A technician came after 4 days (ofcourse sat and sunday came in between).. and said compressor failed..And they said compressor will be replaced by 1400 bugs we should pay for gas filling(1150) and service charges(250)... We enquired ..! no one charges this much..! And he said due to rain 'compressor replacement' they will never carry..! till now nobody responded...When we called the same technician he responded in an irrespective manner and with hesitation.. Sir why this is happening..? so many times called ..! no proper responds..! No respect..! and Ridiculous..!i feel very bad they are making us fool.. because it is possible to replace a new compressor in the winter.. i feel sorry to be an electrolux consumer.. and i quit from your consumer list... And i will never recommend any body to consume electrolux product just because of vellore electrolux customer services...

            i bought a 1.05t window ac from techno-city, kolkata, in 2007. till date despite my complaints for full cleaning, it has not been attended to.on 15.6.09 after request for a servicing, the service provider responded but once again request for a full cleaning has remained unattended. i have made two complaints with the last one made yesterday. surprisingly my complaint dated was cancelled for reasons not known to me. i have made a fresh compaint on 25.06.09 # kol [protected] to TekCare India Pvt Ltd., phone no. 39404040, panditia terrace cal 29, with no response once again.
            1. complaint # [protected]- only servicing, with a promise from sri. subrata koyel, the man who attended, to return the next day. He did and insisted on cleaning despite a massive power cut in our area then.( time- 5 : 30 in the evening, on 16.06.09.
            2 complaint # [protected], immediately after, and cancelled by the service centre without any intimation.
            3 complaint # kol [protected], dtd, 25.06.09 - no response. What do we do ? We feel harrassed.

            this is to inform you that company 's officals had made several visit with thier eng.team & once they had lifted my unit to thier service center but of no use.company officals now admire that thier product is faulty.one of thier officer MAHESH GARG assured us that he will come up with replacement solution veri soon but we are still waiting for thier response.

            With due respect I wish to say I have purchased one eletrolux fridge 240D on 30.10.2005 from M/s Jalan Musical Centre, Shaktinagar, Distt- Sonebhadra, U.P.- 231222, Authorized Dealer . I would like to bring into you kind notice that right from beginning, fridge was having problem of sweating (when getting defrost ice melts and water drains inside of fridge) . Several complaints were done at Shop (Jalan musical centre), and accordingly technicians came also for approx 10-15 times but the problem could not be resolved.

            Last month it was told to me that my fridge will be replaced with new one. For that I have to submit my existing fridge and new fridge will be delivered within one month.
            On completion of approx one month when I asked about the fridge, employee of M/s Jalan Musical Centre told me that officials from Electrolux distributors, at Varanasi wing will contact me . Since nobody from Electrolux distributors contacted me, I contacted to Sh Ashish & Sh Vivek, Area Manager Varanasi division, Electrolux. They told me that since fridge was being used since 3 years, depreciation cost will be charged from me and for refund of balance amount I have to choose any product of elctroux.

            My question is :-

            Inspite of several complaints When problem could not resolved within one year guarantee period why fridge was not been replaced at that time.

            When existing fridge, to be replace with new one, was carried from my house last month, why it was not told to me that depreciation cost will be cut.

            Kindly look into this matter otherwise I would like to take further necessary steps.

            Hi i would like to bring in your notice that i had lodged a complain regarding the door of my fridge which was suppose to replace.
            one of your guy had come to my place to see it and he told me it can not be rectify here so gave me the service center no. i have call them and they said at persent they are able to replace it because they do not have stock for the same and now its been 1 and half month nothing happend nobody has even call me please help me out my contact no. is [protected]

            I brought an "ELECTROLUX MICROWAVE OVEN (25 LTRS.)" 2 YEARS AGO.But a problem occured with our kitchen's dynamics & hence we could not even use it once in a month.But the oven was serving me properly until last month when I switched on the oven after a long time when it was not is use & just i LOADED ma food, set timer & pressed the START button, till it was working with its LCD display functioning properly but the oven was not starting.
            Till today its not start the cooking process.
            Please inform me how will I get ma oven repaired????????

Hence i told, you not give the warranty card you only write it in the bill about the warranty. but they refused to my voice. I tell this matter for nearly 4.5 months they didnt take any action. so i planned to go to the customer court and inform about this matter. or take neccessary steps to solve this matter.

            I have lodged a complaint about my washing machine a month back and we had 3 persons so far who have visited and had the same response 'the glass needs to be replaced and i have no spare ones on me, call the customer care and ask them to send someone else'. We call and explain in detail and they send another person who gives us the same reply.

            Because of faulty fitting of Electrolux Split Airconditioner by a private technician, there was leakage of refrigerant. No fault of Electrolux at all! The technician added gas and the suction PSI now is 70. The product label says 0.65 MPa which translates to 94 PSI.
            My emails to find out if 0.65 MPa is maximum or target level, has got me several irrelevant responses such as cost quote can not be given etc or that I should send my address for visit by service representative.
            [ When our technician went to school, Pressure of 55-67 lbs per square inch was considered the norm. On the net I found over 100 is appropriate for some recently designed compressors with a view to have better EER/Star Rating]

            I just need to know MPa/PSI on product label is ceiling or normal level!

            We have purchased one 1.5 Ton Elrctrolux A/C form Jai Maa Electronics against Bill No. 1530 Dt. 11/05/2012, this A/C was not working properly complain given to dealer dt. on 26/05/12 but not respond from dealer.Dt.27/05/2012 complain given to customer care and received one SMS from Customer care (call no. EGUR[protected]. 28/05/12 again complain given to dealer and received the customer care phone number from dealer same complain farwarded to customer on dt.28/05/2012 After that one engineer (Mr Ajeet Kumar) came at 6.30 P.M.on 28/05/2012 for checking of air conditioner. After checking of A/C he decided to came tommar-ow between 11AMto12AM.But no body can't came here. After many time follow up by telephone to senior person Mr. Manav and Mr Manish. After that they depute to Mr Jitender.Mr Jitender visit our office on 29/05/2012 at 4.30PM and lift the A/c for repairing. After 29/05/12 we are facing problem and not getting satisfactory answer from customer care, during this hot season suffering our work due to non availability of A/C.

            Now we want to return this A/c to you & you can take your A/C frame which is situated in our office.Bill scan copy attached for your reference.

              I am from Hyderabad. I have given complaint about it at J.D.ELECTRONICS (Ameerpet) about 3 years ago. The refrigerator sometimes works and sometimes doesn't from the day of purchase i.e. 3 years ago. No one from their came to repair it. Instead they tell us that they will come at our house at 8 P.M. daily and no ones caring about the complaint. Should we use your products or just be unhappy with the service and just throw away your products. If the service of your company is not good please tell your branch in hyderabad to take away your refridgerator and give back our money.so that we can buy another company's refridgerator and have good service also.Many things went in garbage from the refrigerator after just 2 to 3 days. I have given this complaint again this year.

                i purchased from sales india ahmedabad and registrtion no 22600578 dated 15/ 7 2002, I have been using kelvinator from my child hood i am 51 years, but the quality i am experiencing is as bad as no one can imagine, your service is incredibly poor, i purchaed a Hithahi costing Rs 35000 because you company policies, who is insta care sevices, he is sucker of the customer, ur persons collect money to visit and never informed the compressor is of no quality EVEN BEFORE 5 YEARS i am taking u to the consumer court u please answer there i have all evidences of your useless quality

                The door of my refrigerator has been broken with out my mistake. i have purchased the refrigerator 3 years ago, after two or three months the handle of refrigerator broken & now the full door has been broken i have complain about that many times from your dealer but their is no response and now after many practices i decided to complain this about company.
                I am also facing same kind of trouble in my double door 235 litres electrolux kelvinator. I have bought refrigerator from M/s. Vasanth & Co., Puducherry in middle of 2004. For the past 2 1/2 years the refrigerator has been worked properly. After that the thermostat has failed and then timer. Three time I have changed the timer unit and I have spent cost about Rs. 4, 000/- for spare alone. Now, also cooling in the bottom of the refrigerator not working. I hope that the brand electrolux kelvinator is very very poor quality model.

                    this is to inform that i had purchased an electrolux fridge model no.REF ER45FFPS and bill no.241477 on date 15/2/2008, and from that very day it started giving problems for instance the temperature of the fridge is regulated in such an order that it spoils the vegetables.We have registered the complaint and called uncountable times to the 'Next retail shop, address-sec 35chd ph no.-4652739' but of no use.At last we had no alternative but to ask help from the consumer forum.i would be obliged if you understand my problem.

                      Would like to share our wonderful experience with Electrolux and Sales Emporium (Garia). The whole story started on 26th Aprl'08, when we visited Sales Emporium (Garia) to buy a Microwave Oven for our home. Previously we decided to buy Wirlpool or IFB item, but the entire sales team of that shop almost forcefully sold us a 17 Lit White Microwave Oven of Electrolux made.
                      We had to wait a full damn week to install the same after delivery. The installation guy (they called them as engineer) visited our place after seven days and tried to install that bloody , but after several attempts he could not even shown us "how does it work?". He came to a conclusion that the entire wiring of electricity is not good to handle this wonderful machine, and quit. Unfortunately the same electricity wiring can handle even aiwa TV, Godrej AC, Samsung Freeze, Computer and Samsung washing machine.
                      On the very next day we tried to complaint the same, but Sales Emporium as well as Electrolux just not entertained our complaint. After several reminder they had taken our complaint on 13th May'2008 (Sales Emporium). From that very day we got so many excuses like :
                      1. The Model is already backdated, and they are not getting the parts.
                      2. They are out of stock.
                      3. Service engineer is sick.
                      4. Please call our Branch Head after some time, who is now busy in a meeting..(unfortunately the meeting is still going on).
                      5. Please call to the shop from where you have bought your machine.
                      and the best thing is whenever we sent any mail to Electrolux complaint box (through e-mail : insta.[protected]@eklmail.com), we got a message i.e "Dear Sir
                      Pls provide your full address
                      Rgds
                      Cust Support".

                      Same expereince we faced. Bought the Electrolux microwave on 30.01.09 but installation guy came after 10 days and he could not explain how it works or explain how to cook particular dish.Here he told us that is a "very new model" so he is not aware ! ok after that we started learning to use this machine just after 15/20days it was DEAD. We complained to the call center, after 4/5 days, we called atleast 2 times a day, a person had come to attend. He found that " a small part is not working" he has to replace that and he promised he will come "tomorrow itself". but unfortunately more than 12 "tomorrows" passed away.He had not come. Once again we stareted to ask these call centre people. They gave us on "general managers" number. When called his number every time it is busy, busy! once in a time if get him on the phone he will ask for all the details and he would answer his usual answer: Sir I will speak to my subordinates and get back to you". This answer we heard from him nearly 7to 8 times! After that he gave some other guys number. That guy promptly called back and told "Sir, today I will send my people to rectify the problem, But sir, I am buying this spare from the money fro my pocket"> I asked him are you doing any favor to me? He said yes! I told him I dont want any favor from you, you better take back your damn machine and replace with a new one. He says I am doing it from my own pocket, If you want i will do it or else, you do what ever you want and banged the phone.

                      STILL NOW (21.03.09) MY NEW ELECTROLUX MICROWAVE IS COMA(DEEP SLEEP WITHOUT ANY WORK) COMPLAINED ON 09.03.09.

                      This is the SUPERB SERVICE we had from the ELECTRLUX MICROWAVE people.

                      PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

                      repeated complaints for attending to a dead microwave did not produce any result . The microwave is only 10 month old.

                        Hi,
                        I have purchase the electrolux microwave on Feb, from Vijay Sales Gorbandar Road Thane. My Microwave convection mode was not working from last 30 days. I have complain it to Vijay sales service center and they not able to find the applicable service center for the same.
                        15 days after before after talking to there higher authority they send a guy call Rehan from National Service center from Kalyan. He found out the fault on 24 th of May and it require the change of fan, as it is broken he too took the fan along. He told us that he will replace it by 27th of May, 2008 positively as he has to get the fan from the go - down.

                        It never happen till date. I called back again on 31st May to Vijay sales, than Menakshi from National Service center called me and said it will happen by 3rd of June.
                        I called again to Menakshi on 7th of June to remind her the commitment, she tod it will happen on Monday by 15.00 Hrs. I called again on last Monday at 5.30 and asked no one has come and no call from your side.
                        She made a story that Rehan got the Fan and he is not responding over phone. ( is this type of Electrolux Service Engineer ??) She will make it happen today on 10th of June positively by 15.00 hrs.
                        Now this time she called me at 15.45 Hrs to tell me that the Fan that Rehan got is not in working condition, I think it is of no use for you.
                        Now she tell me that it will be happen within next 2 days as we get the fan.

                        Is this is the service you all provide?
                        I will take things to the consumer forum and to put it in my blog about your service you all are giving to your customers.

                        I have purchased a refrigerator compressor on[protected] from authorised service centre BHASIN REFRIGERATION, 2/209, M.G. ROAD AGRA, OPP. SHAH MKT AGRA.
                        AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE OF THE THE PURCHASED ITEM FOR 18 MONTHS. I HAVE THE BIIL OF THE SAME.
                        BILL NO IS 1477.
                        COMPRESSOR WAS OUT OF ORDER ON[protected] AND WHEN COMPLAINT WAS GIVEN TO THE SERVICE CENTRE THEY ASK ME TO PAY RS. 200 FOR REPLACE MENT AND NO CAUSE WAS GIVEN AND TOLD ME NOT GIEV ANY RECPT FOR RS 200/-
                        I PAY THE AMT. OF RS.200/- BUT TILL DATE THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN ANY RESPONSE, WHENEVER I TRIED TO CONSULT THEM THEY PEOPLE GIVE US THE NONE WORKING HOURS TIME, I.E. SUNDAY OR AFTER OR BEFORE THE OFFICIAL HOURS.

                        Till now we r using oven with problem like noise from oven, timer display problem.And our oven is only 7 months old, i.e, within warranty period.
                        I own an Electrolux washing machine model: EW 1045 F which i had bought on 28th february 2001 from Quilon radio Service Traders, Kollam, Kerala.I had been completely satsfied with the product and service so far but recently about a month back it started making a odd sound when the drum rotates as if it is scraping something when it rotates.I called the service centre and their man said the problem is with the needle bearing but they said they don't have the spare to replace it with.Initially they had assured me that they would get the spare from the company and repair it but later on they kept saying that the needle bearing reqiured to service my machine is not available and they would try to get it.But about a week back when i contacted them they said they have the needle bearing but they don't have the water seal which they say is also required to repair my washing machine.All this time they kept offering me to buy a new machine which honestly i can't afford to buy right now.Please look into my matter as soon as possible, i do not wish to replace my machine as i was completely satisfied with its performance till this problem arised.My contact number is [protected].

                        You folks r absolutely right. This is the worst after sales service I have seen in my life. Horrendous. I had purchased an electrolux washing machine and I had lots of problems with it.

                        The service provided at National Service Center, Kalyan is not upto any standards forget international standards. Can you believe that their phones are not working since the last 2 days ??? Which Customer Care Center can match NSC ... I dont remember anyone worst than this establishment. Their engineers don't know what they r doing and they take at least 15 to 20 days to fix even a small fault. This is ridiculous.

                        I would never recommend anyone to buy an Electrolux product.
                        I do agree about the Pathetic Serive from Electrolux India, which i am facing by purchsaing a Micro Oven in Nov 2007. I have never seen such a bad service from any of the company.
                        I had bought a freeze of Electrolux 370 Ltr. double door, and after 3 months of purchasing it makes a problem. After so many complain their service guy came and found that he is a very junior to industry, he just do some silly rectifications and then their is no response from their service centre. Again after so many call to them they came and taken my freeze to their service centre for testing. But when they came for delivering the freeze it, I found that they had made so many spot on body, color faded out, and surprisingly they send this big freeze on a cycle van by binding with rope with no safeguard, and another surprising thing is that this van travelling approx. 19 kms. i.e. service centre to our home in this rainy days without covering this freeze!

                        Electrolux Washing Machine — No Service Personnel available from Electrolux

                        My Electrolux Washing machine Front Loading model was bought in 2005 from Pai Electronics Indra Nagar. We were recommended this machine stating post sale services are excellent.

                        Our system stopped working since last fortnight and we were trying to reach Pai Electronics to get the service numbers and also from Electrolux service manual. None of the numbers mentioned are active.

                        My wife had been calling one Pai Electronics to the other and calling all support numbers.

                        I had raised this complaint in Electrolux india site against Bangalore and had no response from them.

                        I have purchased one Electrolux Washing Machine(of 5.5kgs Model: Alpha Care ) from Jamal Sales Corporation, Palakkad, Kerala on 05.04.2008(Invoice No.9063 dt:05.04.2008). It was not woroking from last 3 weeks. We have already made somany calls to[protected], 6540635, a srvice centre at Palakkad for Electrolux and after 8 days one service guy come to home and checked the system. He told us that there is one capacitor for rotating the cylinder which is got repaired. As this is under waranty period, they have to replace the faulty item immediatly. He gone that day by promising thet he will be return for replace the capacitor within two days. But after 2 weeks, there is no response and that service guy not come to home. We are again frequently called to this service centers for replece the item.

                        I have purchased this machine for my old aged parents only. Now it is very difficult to wash the cloths as they are very aged persons. We are having Electrolux refrigerator also. We found a good working principle in Electrolux and we were satisfied with their home appliences products. Now only we can understand about their poor servicing in the field. Hereafter we will not purchase any Electrolux home appliences in futur for us and arround my families and my friends. We are not trusting on your products.

                        Howmany times we can call a service centre?
                        I will take things to the consumer forum and to put it in my blog about your service you all are giving to your customers.

                        Electrolux/micro- oven — No Service for 6 months even after many many complaints

                        We are possessing a Electrlux micro oven, bought on 05/12/2007. However, since last june 2008 it is not functioing. Every alternative day we give a complaint through the customer care number.They promise to send the technician immediately, however nobody turns up. Even i tried to speak their authorise servicing agency. They promise to rectify, however with no luck. Even they don't bother to pick up the phone. We are not sure what to do. This is the face of the service in our country. We shall be oblised if you could guide us.

                        I had bought an ELECTROLUX MICROWAVE OVEN EM25EG90SS on 15.11.2008 from VIJAY SALES, GALLERIA VASHI.After 10 days and repeated followups one technician came to my home for demo.The fuse was tripping and the oven body was overheating.Without getting customer signature on the demo receipt he left.
                        Today after around a week of follow up I took the oven to M/s.Vijaysales and they were not ready to take the material back also the Electrolux technician made false remarks of visiting my house thrice .He also said he had given me demo three times whic is absolutely wrong.
                        I am not feeling safe to use this machine anymore as I have serious concerns abt the quality of the material as well as the trustworthiness of the staff.Customercare dept should understand the concern of the customer rather than convincing him with a substandard material.
                        As a customer i felt more humiliated by their treatment rather than loss of my hard earned money.
                        I even offered them the oven to keep as a demo piece (without any refund)at there showroom bcoz of the fact that the very sight of the material in my home shoots my Blood pressure.

                        Electrolux Washing Machine — No service from the company

                        I purchsed one Electrolux top loading washing machine which went out of order after 6 months from my purchase. I called on the company. One technician came and tried to repair but to no avail. He promised me to come back next day. He never came back !! I contacted hundred times to the company, service centre and the dealer, but my machine is lying idle and inactive for last 3 years as a dumb showpiece !!!
                        I have a front loading washing m/c and since 1 yr. I have been trying to get my machine repaired as it is not working properly. But the customer service seems to be least bothered. This is sick . God knows why they have products in market when they cannot provide right service. Why do they make fool o[censored]s?

                        I have purchased Electrolux washing machine on 8.1.2005 from Vasanth & Co, Chennai. Suddenly I was facing problem on washing. I was trying their numbers printed on the pamplets but no use. Then I got one number from a near by dealer.[protected] is the BPO number and I talked to Ms. Lakshmi and gave my complaint after a week again I talked to a person and continously every alternate days. No action has been taken by them so far. I do not know how to get the service from this company. I am facing great hardship due to this.
                        I agree that the after sale service of Electrolux is worse. My Microwave is not attended for last 3 months. I am repeatedly requesting the service engineer and the dealet to repair the PCB. But they have made me begger inspite of having money in my pocket. I think the unit is supposed top be thrown away once it develops fault.
                        I think that the problem is with the service which Electrolux company offers through its authorised service agencies. These people have a number of service contracts for many brands and the staff which they have is generally barely trained. These agencies save cost by hiring unskilled people and these people learn by trial and error on the products which we have bought through hard earned money.
                        I have electrolux refrigerator which has been working fine for more than 2 years (with the timer going bad once). Some time back (almost a week), due to a power surge, some components in the PCB have gone bad. The service centre responsible for Noida issues (Hitech Services) has repeatedly been sending the same technician (Rajesh) who cheated us by taking one motor (without informing us). Also, he told us about the problem (said that the motor was burnt) which we got corrected. Still the problem is same as it was before getting the motor replaced. This makes us feel that our motor was fine which he took with himself (without informing us) and when we asked for it (when we came to know after consulting some other private mechanic), gave us a bad piece which we were forced to get replaced.

                        I think it is Electrolux's responsibility to maintain the quality of service which their agents offer, after the sales. Since Electrolux is quite careless, I believe that it is better not to buy products of Electrolux so that the company gets the feedback from the suffering customers.

I would like to bring into you kind notice that right from beginning, fridge was having problem of sweating (when getting defrost ice melts and water drains inside of fridge) . Several complaints were done at Shop (Jalan musical centre), and accordingly technicians came also for approx 10-15 times but the problem could not be resolved.

                        Last month it was told to me that my fridge will be replaced with new one. For that I have to submit my existing fridge and new fridge will be delivered within one month.
                        On completion of approx one month when I asked about the fridge, employee of M/s Jalan Musical Centre told me that officials from Electrolux distributors, at Varanasi wing will contact me . Since nobody from Electrolux distributors contacted me, I contacted to Sh Ashish & Sh Vivek, Area Manager Varanasi division, Electrolux. They told me that since fridge was being used since 3 years, depreciation cost will be charged from me and for refund of balance amount I have to choose any product of elctroux.

                        My question is

                        When problem could not resolved within one year guarantee period why fridge was not been replaced at that time.

                        When old fridge, to be replace with new one, was carried from my house, why it was not told to me that depreciation cost will be cut.

                        Now since two months no action hasben taken

                        Kindly look into this matter otherwise I will take further necessary steps.

                        No person available to rectify the Washing machine doar lock for spa model
                        NEVER BUY ELECTOLUX PRODUCTS. I made a complaint about the door or my refrigerator which wa not closing. It is now 7 days and after talking to about 10 different people who all promised to come and fix it, I gave up on Electrolux. I got it fixed by another technician. I told Electrolux that the compressor was in danger of packing up if they did not fix the door in the middle of summer, but they didn't care one little bit. I think their products should be banned in India.

                        First off all I did a big mistake by purchasing Electrolux Washing Machine. I wish I could have purchase LG or IFB.
                        The service maintenance support team is so bad that any other vender has. I personally will not recommend Electrolux to any body.

                        Here is the story:
                        I’m having an Electrolux front load fully automatic washing machine. Slim Line Series, Model No.: EW1045 F. It was almost 4-5 years old and I have not used this machine much.
                        I have registered a complaint for my washing machine malfunction. I have regst. complaint in the toll free no: [protected]. Initially the door of my front load washing machine having some problem. The door was not closing properly. After 14 days some inexperience technician (Name: Nitin) came and did something. The door was okay but end up with some other problem i.e. rotation of the machine. The automatic rotation was not working.
                        As per the same technician, this was due to some electronic board (Some IC) which is damaged. Now it is more than one and half months over the whole support group doing nothing. Every time I called they came up with some excuses. They are still arranging the IC (Electrical spare part).
                        I have very bad experience with Mr. Nitin and Sandeep (Manager of Electrolux Service, Pune). Most of the time they don’t received phone call. If received, their standard reply, “your service was slipped from my mind sir, I will get back to you soon” and they never get back.

                        Now my question to Electrolux:

                        IS this the way to treat customer?
                        Why there is no experience person in the support group?
                        Why my work is still pending, (more than one and half months)?
                        Why can’t they repair that electrical board or simple replace that board?
                        Why Electrolux don’t have spear parts (both for new and old models) in their stock?

                        I’m having small baby in my home and it is very difficult to manage with out washing machine. Here I Have shifted to a new place, and it is very difficult to get med servant for washing cloths.

                        Please do something urgently.

                        I brought Electrolux air conditioner (2 Ton) from BAGGA TRADING CO. on 20/04/2009 M.no EA24WCRPA Sno.[protected] .In starting May 2012 i got problem in its compressor so i complaint to its costumer care they forward it to there authorized service centre RELIABLE HOME CARE Faridabad .But after a week he (RELIABLE HOME CARE) give me back my ac with another defective compressor and charged Rs/- 3050 for gas and capistor.After coming back home i found ac making lots of noise and doesn't cool all coils .I again complaint to service provider but did not get any response. so I again complaint to Electrolux costumer care several times but did not get any responce from service provider.                         I purchased Electrolux microwave thinking that it is a good brand... Anyway, it stopped heating .. I raised the complaint about 5 months back... but neither Electrolux nor Tek Care people are not ready to do the repair.

                        They are giving random excuses & abuses... which I have recording of.

                        The product is in warranty, so it is the duty of Electrolux to do the repair. Now please tell who will do the repair work?

                            I have been using above machine - model EW1062W, Serial number 92900002, purchased on[protected] since 7 years.
                            I found the machine leaky last month and complained to M/S Harsha, Udupi 576101, dealer of above machine a month back. They send a technician and it was found that the draining pipe is leaky and require replacement.
                            Though it is more than a month they have not yet replaced the pipe resulting great inconvenient to my family.
                            I wish that the complaint may be looked into urgently and set right the machile to workable condition.

                              I had purchased Electrolux Microwave Oven 8625 C model from Vijay Sales on 31/12/06 for Rs 7390/-, with a warranty on the gadget for 1 year and warranty on its Magnetron for 3 years.

                              As per the termsthe warranty on the PCB Switch Panel is over and there was a need to call the company's technician. To my surprise the company operates through a service agency. Te agency has a unilateral charge of Rs 280 for the visit and Rs 1150 towards the repair of the component for which there is no supporting of service charges authorised by Electrolux.

                              Moreover is it not unjustified that the cost of repair of one small component is 20% of the the total product cost.

                              I also found from market survey that this model has a Design Defect in PCB Switch Panel and similar complaint is not uncommon. The company seems to be cheating with hand-in-glove with their service agency.

                              I cannot trust Electrolux for any of their products in future.

                              It was really nice talking with you on phone 2 days back regarding Electrolux Micro ware from Syamlal Kishanlal (Sadar Market, Delhi Cantt).



                              As informed that this Micro wave has been purchased by us on 14-Sep-08 & gifted to my sister in Noida. Due to my marriage on 4-Oc-08 we were not able to check the same earlier in-fact we have not been given any demo offer from company too.



                              Once we have opened it on 6th or 7th Oct 08 we found the product damaged from the base. On the same date we have started making complaint for the same but no action has been taken for almost 15 days. After that an inspection of the product held at Vasundhra (Ghaziabad) on 23-Oct-08 (report attached) against our complaint number 5p[protected]. After this inspection tracing cycle restarted for replacement but again no result has been given to us.



                              In the month of Nov 08 someone from Electrolux told us that this Microwave has been purchased in Delhi & can be replaced in Delhi only. After that we take the same to purchase address & started making complaint for the same. After several complaint in company & at dealer end an Inspection has been held in the month of DEC 08 against our complaint number [protected] (done in Nov-08) by Mr. Surrender



                              Till that time we have discuss this issue with lot of peoples but no action has been taken till date.



                              Please advice till when we are supposed to make complaints without getting any solution. Or is it our mistake to buy an Electrolux product.



                              We need a replacement for the same on immediate basis.

                                I purchased one Electrolux Refrigerator Model 285FF 0Zone Luxury Sl No. 50302278 from M/S Bharat Electonics, Bapujeenagar, Bhubaneswar. But from the day of its installation, the same has not been given proper service as a result of which whatever vegetables kept inside, are being damaged. On my continuous complaint to your service centre at Sahidnagar, one service staff changed the Thermostat on 02.05.2008. In spite of change, the defect of the machine was not rectified and hence from your branch office again on my complaint another technical person examined the refrigerator at my residence on 18.05.2008 who confirmed flowing of excess coldness to the refrigerator chambers which is is cause of damage of vegetables. Hence another thermostat was changed by your service staff on 21.05.2008. But the defect is still continuing and I am sustaining loss daily due to damage of vegetables. In my last e.mail to Mr Rajiv in charge of Branch office at Bhubaneswar, I requested for replacement of the refrigerator as the present one sold to me is definitely a manufacturing defect one. But till date no reply has been received so far.

                                Being disgusted and non settlement of the complaint to the satisfaction of the customer it is requested to arrange replacement of the refrigerator immediately or else I will be compelled to take shelter in the appropriate forum/court of law.

                                In this piece of freeze, this is our fourth complaint to the dealer and first to you.
                                From the first day of the purchase, all vegitables which are kept in the freeze are found wet next day with its loose position. We complaint about the same to the dealer but he replied that it is neutral which i think is not proper answer.

                                After almost three months, freeze was making tremendous noice and in this regards it was told to us by the service man that bio-meter was problematic. After our third complaint, he replaced the same.
                                But from yesterday the in the lower portion of the freeze, cooling does'nt work. We complaint the dealer about the same and he responded after almost a day in this morning. As per the service man the piece need to sent to them and they need to rectify the problem at their place.
                                I would like to ask you that with the company like electrolux, is it porper that the newly purchased thing create problem within 3 months and even after fourth visits of technician, the problem can't rectify?
                                Pls. do needful urgently in the matter.

                                  This refrigerator was purchased on[protected] from Majestci Agencies Pvt. Ltd. Cochin, Kerala. Till 2007 the fridge was trouble-free. In November 2007, we noticed that the freezer was not working. We contacted the authorized service franchise for Electrolux Kelvinator at Vytilla, Cochin. They came to collect the fridge only after one month. By then the whole fridge had stopped working. After they took the fridge we had to suffer for another one month without the fridge. For this service we had to pay Rs.2700.

                                  After 2 days the fridge again stopped working!! The fridge was again taken by them and repaired, this time they did not charge us anything.

                                  The fridge stopped working yet again by March 30, 2008. They took it for repair on April 7th and till date (May 20th) we have not got it back!! We asked for a spare fridge which they could not provide. In short, one quarter of an year goes without a fridge for us in the hot and humid Cochin!!!

                                  Please do not harm us like this.

                                    I have launched the complaint on 5th May 2008 to the dealer Mahavir Electronics from where I have purchased the A.C. They said that they had given the compalint to the service station. I took the number directly and made a call to know the status. Mr. makarand from service station said they don't have the complaint. So I gave the complaint again on 8th May 2008. The complaint No. was 05090006. I made a call on 9th May 2008 and the reply was they can't found the complaint. At last they found it. The leady told me to call some Atherv Services where my complaint was handed over. The phone of that Atherv Services is not in order for last 4 days, at least. So again on 12th May 2008 I called Electrolux service station to look after my complaint. Mr. Rashid, the incharge of the center, with whom I had talked on 10th May 2008, asked me whether to launch a complaint?
                                    There is a big keyoss in the Electrolux service center. Those people used to say that they don't have outgoing phone facility. So that they can't give a call to Atherv services. The service center is soooo poor in communication that I regreat to purchase the product. The product is actually good But when it comes to after sale service it fears me teriblly. Its a worst situation if somebody can't get the positive reply within 8 days.

                                    i bought an ac in 2005 whose compressor has stopped functioning. am a resident of sec 49 noida. have been calling the helpline nos of samsung but in vain...

                                    Electrolux Air Conditioner — Compliant is unattended from last 10 days regarding the non-functioning of AC

                                    I bought the Ac on May 16th 2007, which is still under warrantee.On 24the of April my Ac stopped functioning.I lodged a compliant regarding the same at Electrolux customer care gurgaon at Phone Number [protected] on 25th of April 2008.They gave the call reference number as 80413324.The same day a guy had visited my place and said it is Gas Charging problem and will be get done in two days by the concerned team.From the same day, i am continuously calling at their number every day.sometimes i called more than once a day but every time they say i will be done today and till now the problem is unsolved.
                                    At customer care i have take to Miss Zahida, Mr. Sunny, Gourav, Anand and Miss Poonam but still not result.

                                    This is to inform you that i Amit Tyagi (97A, Khanna Nagar, Jwalapur, Haridwar) had bought 1.5 ton electrolux AC, model no. EA18WCRPG1 this on 4th June 2007 from one of your dealer in D K enterprises, Sai Baba complex, Railway road, Jwalapur, Haridwar. From very beignning it is creating some or the other problem continuosly. To make it more worst your service center does not respond at all. I just want to simply get it replaced. In case of no response from your side i will be forced to take serious action against your company and meet you in consumer forum for the same.

                                    I bought an Air conditioner and from day one it gives off a strange odor.
                                    After several failed service attempts Electrolux fails to take any action.
                                    I signed a complaint with my PA attroney General and next I will be suing them.
                                    Thnis company sucks and is one of the worst companies in the U.S.
                                    They swear they are above the law but afren't and they are going to get sued by me for violating cvonsumer trust laws.

                                    M/s. NTPC Ltd. Singrauli has purchased 10 tonn split A.C. ( 2x5 tonn ) model no. EA24SCRDA1 from M/s Jalan Musical Centre, 27, Shopping Centre, Vidyut Vihar, Shaktinagar 231222 Distt. Sonebhadra (U.P.) on 02/08/2008, purchase order no. 81340109. After the purchasing of A.C. unit there occured some problem like humming sound, water drainage problem, cooling problem. so we have complain regarding the seller M/s Jalan Musical Centre, since we have complained them for the same problem too many times, but they are not attending for the single time, also till now they do not service the A.C. which comes under warranty period. So please take immediate action for the above complaint and also take the action against bad and ignoring behaviour of the seller.
                                    i have been persuing a complaint with the United Airlines air providers with no response from them. Could you advice on the way forward.

                                    I purchased a Electrolux 1.5 ton AC in April 2007 from Ankit Electronics, Palam, New Delhi 110045. On 15 May 2009 it stopped cooling. A technician came on 18 May 2009 and stated that gas has leaked out and gas has to be filled. On 22nd May after several reminders the technicians took the AC to workshop stating that it cannot be done at home and it will cost Rs. 1500/-. They also promised to return the AC on 24 May after repair. Since they did not return the AC on 24 May I contacted their technician again on 25th May (Monday). Now they state that the whole condenser Unit has to be changed as they cannot repair the leakage. It will cost Rs. 4000/-. That too they do not have a condenser in stock and will take more time (they don't know how much). This is nothing but armtwisting customers for extracting as much money as possible. Videocon has outsourced their servicing/ repair to a company called Art Cool and no official of Videocon/ Electrolux is contactable. The owner of the company Art Cool, 26 DSIDC, Bapu Park, Kotla Mubarakpur (Nr South Extension), New Delhi (Mr. Sandeep Lamba, Mob [protected]) either switches off his phone or does not attend. They must either repair they leakage or return the AC to me immediately. I shall be grateful if you can help me with my compalint with Videocon who are providing the service for Electrolux.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    I have problem in my Split AC which i have install two months ago. it is not working properly form two days its cooling not proper
                                    I am one of your customer in India, New Delhi. I purchased an Electrolux 1.5 Ton Split A/C 8 months back and on 7th of May’2009 the cooling wasn't effective, so I called up the customer care to complain (8th of May’09 ) (COMPLAINT NO: DEL-[protected]) and the engineer visited on 9th of May’09 informing that the compressor has gone faulty & would need to be replaced and the process would take 2 to 3 days time. It's been 26 days now and the service center has been giving me just one answer and that is ‘Sir Tomorrow’.

                                    The services of Electrolux have been pathetic and I regret of buying a Electrolux product. I have made a total of 151 phone calls in last 26 days and have got the same answer, when I threaten them to give me a service or to go legal against them, then they stop picking up my phone calls, no matter how many times I call.

                                    The service center taking care of my service is Art Cool, 26 DSIDC, Bapu Park, Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi. Headed by Mr. Sandeep Lamba.
                                    I purchased a new 0.8 ton AC from Navrang Electronics, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. Since the day it was installed, it is not working properly. The paroblem is that in the hot summer days, the compressor stops functioning means that it trips after getting hot and on such event it takes long time to start again. It cools only for 4-5 minutes and stops for almost 15-20 minutes resulting in to very hot inside the room. I made several complaints but the engineers, who appeard to be of very low knowledgable person, always stated that it works like that only. The compressor which stops at a particular temperature will restart only after due increase in temperature upto 4-5 degree + 3 minutes. I argued with them several times and evern to the senior members of then service centre and stated that the function of AC is that it has to maintain the fixed temperature inside the room that means that when the compressor will reach at a fixed temperature, it will definitely trip but restart again as soon as the temperature increases 1-2 degree above the fixed temperature and thus it will maintain the fixed temperature inside the room. But nobody took my comments and ultimately I dropped complaining and adjusted myself considering that I have purchased a wrong AC. But this year recently, the problem was more worst. Then I had to complaint the Electrolux people. Surprisingly, the helpline number got changed and the people where I purchased the AC from, were not able to tell me the present help line number. I ultimately searched the helpline no. from the internet and made a complaint. But when not responsed, I again inquired, then I was told by someone at call centre that the complaint has been forwarded to M/S Singson, the number of whom given to me by call centre was wrong. Then somehow I could get the number from Internet and then contacted the concerned person. Some engineers again visited form the M/s Singson and stated the same it was done earlier that the AC is working perfect. I again questioned them that why it cols only for 4-5 minutes and stops cooling 15-20 minutes. They answered that the outside temperature is very hot that is why is not working and moreover, the compressor stops working at 40 degree temperature. I corrected them stating them the out side temperature may be 40 degree and above but the temperature in the area where the AC has been installed may be around 35 degree then why it is not working. Their response to this was again not considerable. I again approached the MD of M/s Singson. He said that the services has been transferred to some one else. When enquired from the Call centre, they again referred to me for M/s "Shivam Services", the telephone number supplied to me 2-3 times again was not existing. After wailing in long que on telephone, it becomes possible to contact the call centre executive and even after this supplying wrong information disheartens me. Some how, after very long effors I could manage to get the telephone number of RSM, whom I have passed the entire history. He has taken quick action but I do not know whether my problem will be over or no. But as an ultimate solution, I have shifted my sleeping position.

                                    Electrolux 1.5 Ton Split A/C — Pathetic Service

                                    I purchased a Electrolux 1.5 Ton Split A/C 8 months back and this session the cooling wasn't effective so I called the customer care to complain (COMPLAINT NO: DEL-[protected]) and the engineer visited inforiming that the compressor has gone faltuy & would need to be replaced and the preocess would take 2 to 3 days time. It's been 15 days now and the service center has been giving me just one answer and that is Sir tomorrow. The services of Electrolux have been pathatic and I regrett of buying a electrolux product. I have made a total of 51 phone calls in last 15 days and have got the same answer, when I threathen them to give me a service or to go legal against them, then they stop picking up my phone calls, no matter how many times I call...People reading this forum, I would suggest not to purchase any Electrolux, Next, Videcon, Samsung, LG Air Conditioners as the service center for all theses companies is the same.
                                    I have the same experience of abominably poor-cooling of Electrolux 1 ton window ac.
                                    We had purchased one 1 ton a/c in may`07 which is now malfunctioning Lodged the complaint on 8 june`09 at M/S Ashoka Trading Co. Sector 16 Faridabad aqnd visited the showroom, last on 22 june`09 but no body is responding till now. Every phone call either not being attended or vague replies were given

                                    Electrolux Air Conditioner — AFTERSALES SERVICE PROBLEM

                                    I purchased one air conditioner of 1 tonn window from Great Eastern, Garia. But unfortunately when I am asking for servce then I am not getting it from Great Easten as well as from Electrolux. The phone nos. of Electrolux given in the warranty card as well as in bill rae not valid. Great Eastern is not responding of our service request and telling us to contact to service center but not ale to give proper contact details.

                                    Sir, as requested many times your goodself are again requested to kindly help once again to repair the defect in air conditioner however, previously I am very thankful for the replacement done on 1st May 09 after about 40 days regular request of remove the defect the earlier AC.

                                    like many of you I am also sufferer of poor after sales service provided by the company, i purcased Elocltrolux 1.5 tr. A.C. from a local dealer in Luckknow three year back, but till date no engineer has ever visited to to check the performance of the product. i had faced many problem with the product, but was unable to find company service centre. I tried to get the information from the dealer who supplied the product, which inturn informed me that since they have left the agenncy, they will not be able to help, somehow by contacting few A.C. dealers they have infored about one service centreat Nirala Nagar, Lucknow, on contacting them i was informed by the service centre that do not take service of A.C.hence till date I am not been able to find company service centre. my A.C. is regularly giving trouble, i dont know to whom should i contact and how to get the things setright. but this Electrlux experiance has taught me a lesson that any product should be decided only if proper after sale support is assured and available.                                     I purchased an eletrolux 1 ton ac from viijaysales mumbai, within two months the ac started giving problems, i called the service center they assured me of looking into this matter and sending the person as soon as possible which was not done, i called them everyday after the complain, atlast a person came to the place and said there was a problem with some gas lekage, which he told that he would do it the other day or one day later but was not done also, so i called the the service center again and i am sorry to say that they dont know how to talk to clients, i also had a talk with Mrs. Sawti who says she is a manager but she couldnt help and jus kept on saying that " i am trying my best" when i asked her to transfer the call to some higher authority she gave me the number of some ac repairs services who works for electrolux this was the worst thing which i have ever come through, i called her again and she did not come online to talk to me n kept me on hold for long, and even after that she didnt had a courtusey to call me back.

                                    i am requesting you to please look in to this matter or i think i have to take it more further.

                                    i was complain that i required service for my A/c i was complain ur call center on 13th march 2010 the complain no Asm [protected] then i again complain on 17th march 2010 the complaion no was Ahm[protected] on 19th as well as 22nd morning 9.15AM. to 9.45AM i talked to this person are ASHISH REKHA, NITIN, MANOJ, AND SWATI they r give wrong information as well as wrong commitment that they give me service within 2 or 3 hours but then again called to ur centre i talked to SACHIN, SHREE, AND ANUP ON 22nd noon the time was 1.30p.m to 1.45 p.m they spoil ur market image as well as ur brand name this is ur service i think so i was mistake to purched ur brand with trust i do not suggest any body to purchase this videcone brand i[censored] have any coutsey to give and satisfied ur customer then take intrest other wise ????

                                    Electrolux/Window AC — taken money and no service given

                                    I have given a request for servicing of my AC to the call center no. on 27th March. the engineer visited my place on 28th and done the same. as there was a pover cut we were not able to check whether the AC was working properly or not. the engineer convinced me to pay RS. 350 as a service charge and told that the AC will be working properly and in case there is some problem i can call him and he will visit me to rectify the same. as soon as the power came we checked the AC and it was not working properly. after that when we called the engineer he didnt turn up and again i had called the call center and informed them about this. then the engineer visited us and checked the AC and told there is a part to be replace and will be getting the same in 2 days. still 5 days are passed and i have called the call cernter and the engineer directly more than 100 times and have still not got proper response from them. they have my money and is still not giving proper service... infact now when i call them they start speaking in telugu as they know being a sikh i will not be able to understand and will have to disconnect the call. my complaint ref no are: HYD[protected], HYD[protected].

This company is making more money by providing after sales service than by selling the products. they know that the customer doesnot have other option once he/she buys their product. They are following unethical business practices. The customer care and the third party servicing agency has no coordination between each other.
                                    Hi i am Neeraj Ratra residing in patparganj Delhi-1100092, have a problem wth my electrolux arconditoner.There service support is pathetic, horrble I will never ever advice any one to buy electrolux product.

                                    I bought an electrolux air conditioner around 4 years 6 months back from KBM electronics Laxmi Nagar, its compressor is stll under warranty as it came with a 6 year warranty at that time, this year its gas got leaked yhan i registered a complaint at there service center[protected] and from there call went to the local area service center which is based at Chander Vihar in East Delhi. The service center people came and took the AC to theire center for repair as per them its back condenser coil was damaged along with the gas leakage problem.I told them to fix it up it took 15 days for them to repair that AC, they charged me Rs 4500 which is apprx 33% of the cost of new aircondtioner.It worked fine for one day after than i spoke to Mr Adesh i think he is the main incharge of that service center on the following NO [protected], [protected] he did send some engineer once but that person was not able to reactify the problem and left saying Sir is company kay AC's aise hi chalte hai, which is rideculous after that i made several calls to this service center but all in vein no body is ready to fix up the problem and i as a coustomere feel like cheated by the company.
                                    Today also its been more than one month we all in the family sleeps in one room where we have one Voltac AC working.

                                    Seriously i am thinkng that i did a mojor mistake by buying an electrolux product.

                                    If you can not give us the proper service than why do you sell.

                                    See if some body can help me out will be great.Other wise i've to take some other action.

                                    I purcnased two Electrolux window A/Cs on 5th May, 2010. First service was done in the month of December-2010 and front grill of one A/C was broken by the service engineer while doing the service. It was enquired by him from the service center about the availability of the front grill and it was not in the stock. It was promised by him that he will replace the front grill under warranty as soon as it is available. Since last five monthly I am complaining for the change of grill but no action has been taken so far.

                                    Now, again I made a complaint for the replacement of grill and Mr. Verinder from service center contacted and told that it will be changed only when the payment is made.

                                    For the last five months they r telling that it is out of stock and now they r asking for charges for the same.

                                    U r rqstd to intervene in the matter and get it replaced under warranty.

                                    DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX. I am planning to buy a new branded AC next sason now.

                                    WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE___
                                    1. My Electrolux WAC is faulty since 14.06.12.
                                    2. Service engineer took PCB of front display panel for repairing on 18/06/12.
                                    3. My service docket was closed next day even AC was not rectified.
                                    4. Service engineer came with repaired PCB on 25-06-12 but it was not operational. PCB was not repaired and was sent without CHECKING .
                                    5. He again took the PCB on 25-06-12.
                                    6. I am not able to contact any Electrolux official and no body from Elextrolux or Service centre even called me about this. What a Service?
                                    7. My AC is 6 year old and each year it is failed for about 10-12 days. PCB had become faulty 3rd time i think.
                                    8. I repeatedly called on CALL CENTRE [protected], LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE since enonmous times.
                                    9. Service centre incharge never picked his mobile number .
                                    10. I got the the number of service incharge o[censored]P area. I am in touch with him for past 7 days on his mob, but my problem is not resolved. I also insisted to pay for a new PCB.
                                    11. Each time local service center told to resolve by next 1-2 day.
                                    12. Too many requests /reminders (almost alternate day) had been sent to ELECTROLUX customare service email electrolux.[protected]@pemail.in which was mentioned at Electrolux website.
                                    13. My PCB has not been placed and I am still waiting for any response. I also requested to put other PCB till mine is repaired.
                                    14. TODAY IT IS more than 21 days OF FAULT AND I am WITHOUT AC IN PEAK SUMMER TIME...
                                    15. NO BODY FROM ELECTROX EVEN TALKED TO ME DESPITE SEVERAL REMINDERS?COMPLAINTS IN PAST 21 DAYs. IT HURTS...
                                    I purchase a split Electrolux AC of 1.5 capacity in 2008. Its remote control was out of order since 2009. I enquired and complaint to all their site and head offices. They have not been able to repair nor replace the remote control. As a result the AC is lying idle for the past one and half year

                                      my machine is under warranty in 7 year presently it 3 year completed but his pcb faulty, complante launch in dealer he say you pay charge 300/rs, i given him but he change this kit is also faulty, he is not recieve my numbeer & his office number is out of service, he give me company service ex number they not recieve my phone, not give me satisfied action,

                                      its totaly 6 month cycle run (mean total 6 months work in same problem )

                                        I'm from punjab bathinda - our fridge (Electrolux-kelvinator 2005) was not working - cooling not functioning properly, complaint filed with customer service, - biometer/timer (As told by the service centre) was replaced & we paid rs.2000 - fridge is still not working properly from the date of repair, almost 6 months have passed-we're calling everyday-we get very few responses, our calls are cut, asked to call back & so on - once in a while some one comes & checks & leaves-your service people are absolutely incompetent & rude-our fridge is still not working properly-its 6 months - shame on a company like electrolux. Will never recommend nor will i purchase any of your products again!                                         we had purchased 173 l Ltrs Kelvinator Nutricool Refrigerator from Prabhat Electro Vision Gandhi Chowk Ciricle Hospet, Dist- Bellary (Krnataka) vide Cash Bill No.1109 dated 14.10.2009. The said Refrigerator is not working, on checking by local Technician stated that the Compressor was struck while running condition.

                                        Maerdy Mobile Machanic — Poor work

                                        My vehicle wanted a turbo fitted the Machanic fitted it and it's still the same payed him for the work complained to him he won't return to do the work I've payed him for the work and he's fitted faulty goods I'm now taking it to trading standards. Please be careful as workman ship isn't carried out correctly
