I had placed an order on flipkart on 12 nov, 2018 for a laptop i. E. Dell inspiron 15 5000 core i5 8th gen - (8 gb/1 tb hdd/windows 10 home) 5570 laptop (15.6 inch, silver, 2.2 kg, with ms office) worth 50490 rupees (Paid through debit card), but instead i received a totally different and old & used laptop i. E. Dell latitude 3440 (Black colour) on 15 nov, 2018.
I placed a request for replacement on 15 nov, which was approved on 19 nov and they said it would be replaced by 23 nov. On 23 nov, i received a text that your order for replacement is out for delivery and you'd receive it by 7:00 pm & around 6 pm one of their guy came he took the photographs of the delivered laptop and on asking regarding the replacement, he said he has not brought it with him and would bring it tomorrow after confirming the serial no. Of the delivered product and later on that day i got a phone call that your order for replacement is cancelled since that guy reported that customer is happy with the product.
On complaining regarding this to the flipkart customer service they registered another complaint and said it'd be resolved by 27 or 28 nov. On 26 nov i got a call that another request for replacement has been processed and by 3 dec a technician would pay visit and by 6 dec, the laptop would be replaced by the one which i had ordered.
They do not seem to take the complaint seriously and are just extending the dates by which they claim to resolve the issue.
I have all the records, photos, and unboxing video concerning my complaint.
