This is in regard to the debit card fraud which has recently happened with me. I am holding an account in hdfc (Number: [protected]) for past 5 years and have been a loyal customer for them. However, now when it comes to helping their customer in problem, i believe they donot even bother for that.
There have been two transactions from my account on the 24-apr-18, and the person who did the fraud took out 10, 000 and 6, 000 rupees in both the transactions. The card was in posession of mine at all times when the transactions were made, further there was no text or email received when these were being done.
I came to know about these transactions on the 10-may-18, when i spoke to a person in the hdfc kailash colony branch who apparently didn't respond to my complaint with interest, however he did tell me that it will take 2-3 days to check what exactly has happened. The communication between two o[censored]s didn't give me the satisfaction and consequently i called their ex-employee, who was earlier managing my account.
After speaking to their ex-employee, i got to know that it is a debot card cloning case and the money has been taken out from some axis bank atm.
This information was provided to me by their ex-employee who took 15 minutes to investigate this, however the person who is still working with the bank says that it will take 2-3 days to check what exactly has happened.
I would like the bank to take action against this fraud and teach their staff regarding client management.
